Best Mop Vacuum For Vinyl Floors (2025 Update)

This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49

I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney

I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. I’ve been using this WetVac every-other-day for four weeks now. Bare with me, this is probably the longest review in the history of online shopping – But I’m hoping this will share helpful information to those considering a purchase. I’ll start with my overall feelings – Yes, this is 100% worth the small investment. Our house is on the smaller side, 1200sq ft, 2 adults, a messy 6 year old, a baby in the crawling stage, and 2 dogs. Prior to this WetVac, I used disposable mopping pads three or four times a week on top of my daily sweeping, but our vinyl plank floors never felt fully clean, and our baby’s brown-kneed footie pajamas would speak to that. The first time I used this WetVac, I swept immediately before use. To say I was disgusted – “Had my husband dump it” kind of disgusted – The water in the dirty water tank was embarrassing. Not just that, there was a ton of dog hair and I had JUST swept. I had used our disposable mopping pads the day before. Clearly, they weren’t cutting it. Once the floor dried, I filled the clean water tank back up and cleaned again, then once more. On clean #3, the water was just a light grey. I am able to get through 1,200sq ft in about 15 minutes. When I say there is ZERO elbow grease required, I mean it. The wet brush really scrubs, but doesn’t scuff your floor even with the harder bristles mixed in. The water sprayer doesn’t dump water, there’s a gentle mist and it puts off just enough solution to dampen the floor for a thorough clean. My favorite part is – Our baby’s pajama knees no longer turn brown. I do have some pointers and other things to share, though: 1) Yes, you’re going to save a ton of time during the initial cleaning – However DO expect to invest some time to care for your WetVac: – The self-clean is a MUST after every use. If you have pets or particularly dirty floors, run the cycle twice or three times. I’ve noticed that after 1 self-clean cycle, there’s still some dog hair stuck to the brush. It takes nothing to run it a few times, as long as your clean water tank is full and your dirty water tank isn’t too full. – Do NOT leave the dirty water tank closed for more than a day. We went away for a 3-day weekend. I had drained the tanks before leaving, but there was a gross musty smell when I started using it the next morning. It was coming from the brush and the dirty water tank. What I have started doing to avoid this, is I take the dirty water tank apart, take the brush out, and let them dry on our porch after use. I haven’t had the musty smell since. – If you’re planning to use this as a normal vacuum, I’ll warn you that the brush is not clean-out friendly. You’re going to have to clean hair, strings, you name it – off the brush. Truthfully, I used ours as a regular vacuum once to see how it worked in our 1 carpeted room, and I threw the brush right away. I’ll never use it as a regular vacuum again. 2) If you bump into furniture while using the WetVac feature, it can pop off the brush cover. – If you bump into something, push the cover down with your foot to re-secure it. Otherwise, it can fall off and you’ll get sprayed with water. Fun times. 3) I might be overthinking this, but I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening. – I’ve realized, I was able to get my floors done with about 75% left of charge left at first. Now, I have 66-68% left after a clean for the same Sq Ft. I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening, I’ll report back eventually. 4) The “dirty water tank” sensor. – I’m not sure if it’s a faulty sensor, though I always start with a clean and dry tank and sponge. It tells me 3 or 4 times to clean the dirty water tank and sponge, even though they’re still empty. It’s annoying but not a deal-breaker. Overall, there’s a few quirks as expected. But I will tell you, I’ll never go back to disposable mopping pads. This was a game changer for this ever-busy mama and I am truly pleased with the job it does cleaning our floors.Lauren7

I love this WetVac. It has made my life so much easier, because now I don't need to sweep then mop. I love how it has a trigger to let the water out, so if you don't need to mop a certain area, you can just vacuum it. I also really love that it has a high and Lo setting. I really love that it has a self cleaning feature. I also really love that it tells you the percentage of the battery that is left. The only thing I did not like about this vacuum was the cord that goes from the outlet to the base is not very long. I wish it was just a little bit longer. Overall this is a great Vacuum and I would highly recommend it.cutegene

My friend recommended this LG CodeZero vacuum when I got pregnant, and oh wow, it's such a life saver. (I used to own a corded vacuum cleaner and while it was high quality, it was always challenging to motivate myself to vacuum as often as I wanted, because it was heavy and such a hassle to run the vacuum cleaner!) You don't need to bend down to plug the vacuum and haul the heavy vacuum cleaner with tangling cords anymore. It's so convenient to go cordless. The turbo mode of this vacuum is super powerful and it sucks up the debris pretty well even from our carpeted area. Works great on our hardwood floor as well. Batteries die quickly if you do turbo mode though, but they stay reasonably long enough when you just do the regular cleaning mode. One thing I'd wish I had considered is the auto-emptying function. It's actually quite burdensome to empty the bin every now and then because all the dust flies around. I wish I had bought the more expensive version that takes care of that. I used this vacuum on wood, carpet, rugs, tile, and linoleum floors. I've used all three settings for each floor type and also used the mop. The high power mode picks up dirt just as good as a plugin vac. If you clean your place weekly you likely will not need to use the highest power each time. Hair doesn't seem to get wound up in spindle brush much to none like some other vac's I've used. The head articulates to be able to get in very tight places. I do wish they included a light on vacuum nozzle. The light on mop nozzle could be wider spread instead concentrating on mostly the center. Battery life on medium setting is not too bad, for average size house. If you stay on high, you will use both batteries for average sized house. The mop really doesn't take too much power at all. You will run out of water before running down the battery. I like that this vac doesn't need to be hanged on wall and can fit the attachments on the stand. The wifi tells you when the batteries are charged and gives you usage as long it's in the same house and wifi. If you happen to use your vac for a different house and not same wifi, then it will not track usage. I think LG should add tracking if you happen to be off wifi. I haven't washed the filters yet. It would be nice to able to replace the HEPA filter rather than replacing the whole top piece of plastic with filter. Supposedly you can wash this filter, though. We'll see. I do think LG should come out with a larger capacity battery option for people with larger houses. The vacuum head might be too small for larger houses. The universal nozzle that comes with the vacuum goes sidewise when sweeping a dense rug like a Persian rug. This vacuum is supposed to be able to use the Hard Floor and Bedding nozzles, but looking on LG's website they seem to be unavailable. The mopping is good for very minor smudges on the floor. It really doesn't scrub. It's something they could improve or innovate on, maybe add ultrasonic mode like toothbrushes. And or, add a steam nozzle. I doubt any other spinning floor mop does any better though. All the other manufactures seem to be relatively the same design. There are couple that include vacuuming while mopping which would save one step. You can only use water for the mop. Water is usually good enough for most stains. You can up the game using oxygenated water like Zerowater. So overall it's a good product and, I would recommend it for average house or spot cleaning. I bought this stick vacuum about 5 months ago, and it's been a great purchase. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with both carpet and hardwood floors, and this handles both easily. It allows me to clean up messes quickly and is lightweight so I'm not sweating/exhausted nearly as much as I would be with other bulky corded vacuums. Also, I LOVE that you don't have to hold down a trigger to keep it on (looking at you Dyson). All you do is press a button once, and it turns on so there's no worrying about hand cramps. The instructions for cleaning the vacuum are very easy, and emptying the canister is a breeze. It came with a stand, which makes storage super easy. Overall, a solid stick vacuum for general day-to-day cleaning. A few cons: It doesn't do as great of a job when pulling it back toward you. It tends to just drag/push things around when doing a backward motion, and I then have to realign the vacuum to pick it up when pushing forwards. However, since it's so lightweight and easy to use I honestly don't mind doing a couple of extra passes. I don't think it has as strong of suction compared to larger corded vacuums, but it fits my needs for my apartment. The other con is all the plastic that was used in the packaging. I'm pleased with this all in one steam mop and vacuum. We live in a small home and our family area, hallway, and bathrooms are all hard wood floors. Makes cleaning our hard floors so much easier. We have two indoor cats and they shed a lot after the winter/cold months. The vacuum definitely has a powerful suction to collect all the loose cat hair and other debris. I'm also loving this all in one because I am able to steam mop my floors at the same time the vacuum is on to kill two cleaning tasks at once instead of using a standard broom/dust pan prior to my regular old steam mop. I bought this hoping to kill two birds at one time while cleaning my floors. Prior to this I had a $75 bissell steam cleaner. The first time I used this I was excited and impressed. The little stains on my kitchen floor came right up and the vacuum suction was awesome. I thought wow! This is great. Then I brought it out to use the second time and came across something stick to the floor. I thought no problem. This will be quick and easy to get up. Boy was I wrong. It took at least 30 tries with this machine to get it up. I even held the steam over the stuck on yuck with no luck. I had to push down on the handle and basically scrub it up. It would've been quicker and easier to use a spray cleaner and rag to get it up. What's the point if I have muscle gunk off the floor by pressing the pad onto the floor hard? My shoulder hurt by the time I was done getting it off. There are other issues too: The steam is not hot at all… my former $75 steam mop left my floors hot to the touch which is how it's supposed to kill germs. This leaves the floors Luke warm. If you have multiple floors in different places in your home to clean like bathrooms etc you will have to unplug this, go to that spot, plug it back in and wait the thirty seconds for it to heat up. This is annoying. The water container is small and runs out quickly. So between the fact that this takes brute strength to get up stuck on gunk and it isn't hot enough to kill germs I'm not impressed.FloridaMom

Bought this ti replace an old 1940 (steam mop). I vacuumed thrn mopped, so this seemed like a perfect combination. Unfortunately the combination mop / vacuum mop ended up being worse than buying separately. First, the steam function is very quiet (good) so its hard to tell if its on or not, as a result holding the mop "on" trigger bacame laborious. I couldnt tell if the steam function was on causing me to squeeze harder and harder, then constantly letting go just to see if its on. The 1940 is on the entire time (simple). Next, very little steam actually came out when compared to the old 1940 impacting the mops capability to pickup dirt. After cleaning my kitchen tile it did a great job of vacuuming dirt, but the mop cloth head was only 20% dirty. Unsure it its faulty or working as designed. Returned and bought another 1940.yeller

Just bought myself an early Christmas present, the crosswave pro pet multi surface vac/mop. Really amazing how it cleans up, you see/feel/smell the difference instantly. I have health issues so sweeping/mopping is a challenge for me and i needed an easy option that worked. I have multiple cats and this is amazing with cat fur/dried up hairballs/cat litter etc, the fact that it separates all the icky stuff from the clean water makes the biggest difference…you will be in shock how much gets ckeaned up. Now this beautiful household tool needs care in between using it but i like the finished product so much i don't mind the clean up after and still easier then sweeping and mopping with way better results, plus i just put it up on my counter for easy access for the clean up. Tips: 1) don't use with a wet filter, always put a dry filter in. 2) get a baby tooth brush to get in small crevasse. 3) sweep out corners or hard to reach spots into where it can be vacuumed because this machine cant get to them. 4) i didn't get cordless because i don't want to deal with future batterie issues (not saying it happens but more likely then a cord) put top of cord on hook as you vacuum, easier to control cord dosen't get in your way. 5) clean spray holes if needed with paper clip. 6) make sure if you are dumping dirty water or cleaning off in the sink you have a drajn catcher because pet fur and gunk gets everywhere, you'll see as you are clean everything off and dumping water out, don'twant that going down your drain. 7) go slow when spraying the water, give wet vac mop a chance to do its thing. 8) make sure everything is dry b4 you put back together so no mold or smells start to happen. Like i mentioned, if you take care of this it will continue to take care of your floors and rugs. Ps: Not paid to write this, just a regular human. I paid for my crosswave and i really love it. No love is as great as the first, as they say. I bought this last year but after taking it to a friends house and power washing and vacuuming their entire 2 bedroom apartment for 5 hours straight for 2 days in a row, i think i mightve found the breaking point of this product… Haha, so after it wouldnt turn on, i returned it. I ended up going through 3 other new vacuums and returned them all, only to repurchase this as the 5th one. As i mentioned in the previous review for the Bissell Proheat Duo Pet vacuum, this one here was the absolute perfect size for a 5'3 girl living in a small apt. Its great in smler spaces and even if the suction is not as powerful as the Proheat Duo vacuum, this one does a good enough job for the size and its ease of use cant be beat. Cleaning it is suuuuuuper easy, refilling the water is super easy, and all i gotta do is just press a maximum of 2 buttons. (Meanwhile the pro heat duo has me feeling like an airplane technician, after having to take out a bunch components to clean it which was NOT easy and having so many buttons!!!) Im a bit OCD with vacuuming my carpet all the time (every day) and im always very pleased with the carpet cleaning after i wash it. Overall its been the best model i have found for a Wet/Dry vacuum so i highly recommend if its for a 1 bedroom apt. My only gripes are that this is not easy to push!!! Also wish it could suction better when going BACKWARDS because it only suctions good moving forward but not if i pass over it backwards and if the suction would be stronger too. I purchased this vacuum back in May/June of 2021 and have had the last 6 months to really use this thing and put it to the test and honestly- I'm not impressed. I'm already way past the return window, so I just wanted to leave a review for others so people can know my personal experience. It doesn't have the suction to pull the cleaner/water out of any rugs or carpet I own. So, we are left with wet carpet for hours after using this. It also does not clean the floors properly with the brush. It's really just moving dirty water around while only sucking up a small fraction of what I have put down. There are dirty water streaks every time I use this to mop. When using the vacuum dry, the dust and hair clog up the filter within minutes and I have to empty it multiple times while vacuuming, even though the container itself is not nearly full. I have a long haired cat, and I myself have long hair. Neither of these things have agreed with this vacuum. If you have a cat and plan on vacuuming any cat litter with this- don't. It will become a large clay litter clump in the suction tube of the vacuum that you have to get out yourself. It will also leave nasty gray streaks of litter/water on the floor. Additionally, my fallen hair gets so tangled in the spinning brush that I have to cut it off. Honestly, that might not be avoidable or the fault of the vacuum. My hair also gets caught on the sides of the spinning brush and becomes an unmanageable mess that can't be removed. This was probably my worst "big purchase" of 2021. I got the Crosswave Max as a splurge birthday present, but I do not like it at all. It is not convenient. Have to assemble before each use, fill with water and their solution (cannot use just water for brush head reasons), then after use have to run the brush clean function and disassemble and clean all the other parts and let them dry. So you need a dedicated area for all this, just like a full on carpet cleaner. In all that time it takes to assemble and clean up after, I can bend over and pick up or sweep up any of my toddler’s mess AND warm up and use my steam mop. Going back to the brush cleaning cycle, it does not do much to clean the brush. The brush remains dirty, discoloured, and unless you soak it in detergent for at least 30 minutes with a good rinse after (blue dish soap, or laundry soap, or their solution, etc), it will remain dirty and leaves a lot of streaks and milky film on the floor the next use. I have darker floors, so it looked disgusting after the wetness dried. I would have to use my steam mop after using the crosswave and the pad would be very gross after, but atleast the floors would finally look good. It’s also a slow machine to use. You basically wet the floor area going slowly so it’s evenly wet and then have to go over it several times to try to dry it as much as possible. You have to do this section by section. It would take much too long to do only my kitchen, where I could sweep or vacuum and mop it in half the time. It's not bulky at all and allows you to get into the same places you would be able to with a normal stick vac. The white color is refreshing and adds to it's nice clean look. The handle is very comfortable and the buttons are placed in good locations. All the indications and icons are displayed on the top of the clean water tank in easy view. They light as needed and let you know what you need to know about the state of your machine. To use the machine, you fill the clean water tank and add a cap of the included floor cleaner. When you turn the machine on, it automatically dispenses the water solution and starts the roller spinning. At the same time, it also starts the vacuum, so you basically vacuum up the water before it even soaks your floors. After using it on our laminate wood flooring in the kitchen, I just noticed a sheen after it vacuumed the water up. It was dry in about 30 seconds. If you've ever used a stick mop with a trigger spray feature, they left about the same amount of moisture. A few years ago, we got a cordless stick vacuum for our house. We love using it in-between our robot vacuum sweeps but we still end up having to mop the kitchen floor which is linoleum. Since we’re always looking for ways to make tasks more efficient, this wet/dry vacuum seemed like a good option for our family. When you pull the vacuum out of its box, make sure to look through all the packaging because there are additional parts included and I almost threw out the extra dry filter because it was tucked away inside some cardboard. Even though assembly is required, it’s very minimal. You have to attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum, plug the base into power, and then set the unit on the stand. Once the battery is charged, you can start using it. According to the manual, these are the steps you have to take for operation. Prepare for use – includes charging the vacuum for about four hours Press the power button to start the vacuum. It’s in ECO mode by default. There is a “MAXIECO” button that switches between the MAX and ECO modes. Before using the WET function of the vacuum, fill the clean water tank and add one bottle cap of the solution. The vacuum does come with a lot of parts, but some of them are duplicates so that you have your first replacement roller and filter with the original purchase. That said, a couple of lighter stains were removed if I left the vacuum sitting on top of it so that the roller brush could concentrate on that spot. I like the features of this vacuum and its ease of use, but I do wish there were a couple of things added on (a dry/wet option, a heavy stain cleaning option, etc.). Versatile vacuum makes our 90% laminate floor cleaner that it’s ever been. We used to use those “easy” mops that have replaceable wet pads to mop our floors and they worked better than a mop and bucket but this vacuum makes it a piece of cake! The setup and operations were so simple that I thought I was missing something in the suggestions (instructions) but I wasn’t. I normally am the type of person that can pull new electronics out of the box and start using it without help but I had never used a mop/vacuum combo like this before so I read the suggestions. It is so simple, push the power button. If there is liquid in the clean water tank it will mop and vacuum. If that tank is empty it will vacuum only. When you are done just set it on the base and it charges automatically! The vacuum even cleans the brush by itself! It's very good on hardwood and rugs, has no issues like other brands climbs on rugs and etc. Roborock S6 isn't as good. Has sensor for carpet detection and this avoid to go over carpet or rug while in mopping mode. currently unique and very useful feature. soon will be avail in roborock S5 MAX, S6 doesn't have it. Multi floor feature – also useful. roborock s6 doesn't have it water dripping for mopping is controlled from the app, several levels – this is useful and also unique for 950 cons: 1. LDS, laser sensor isn't horizontal that is the issue as 950 can easily get under bed, but can't get out as from distance it doesn't see a way out and as result gets stuck under bed. sure this area can be marked as no go zone, but how to clean under bed in this case? 2. app doesn't have virtual walls, which are useful; roborock s5, s6 has it. 950 has just box as no go zone, which only horizontal or vertical 3. no map edit and no map selection. you can't create new map at will if any exists and it might overlap the area – 950 choose by itself, which isn't correct map for the area 4. 2 floors required 2 charging docks to work as expected, otherwise map selection isn't guaranteed 5. it's loud. roborock S6 a bit quieter 6. app doesn't have many features like manual navigation, map management, virtual walls I think that updates to firmware and app software can address current issues and add missing features.mikek75310

Do not buy Ecovacs 950 ozmo. The life of product is not more than 8 months. All of its sensing system totally fail. The support team is sitting somewhere in Malaysia. Thet can not resolve issue bcos there are no service center in india.

The Shark HydroVac Cordless Pro XL setup is simple, literally just minutes. Insert the handle, charge the battery system, add water and the included HydroVac Multi-Surface Concentrate cleaning mixture and you are ready to clean floors the easy way. With one tank of water and the cleaning mixture was able to thoroughly clean our tiled kitchen floor, dining area and one small area rug. Wastewater was grimy! Which is good, shows how thoroughly it cleaned the floor and rug. Effortlessly removed all debris and stains, i.e., juice, etc. Wife likes that the HydroVac is self-propelled, when you turn the system on it pulls itself across the floor via the brushroll. I'm a big of fan of Shark Ninja products because while they're not the best in class devices out there, they tend to bring the most recent expensive tech down to affordable prices for the masses. Generally you're going to see there are some limitations or some scaled back features on the Shark gadgets but overall the functionality is similar if not the same or better than more expensive competitors. This Shark 3-in-1 Pro Vacuum XL is similar to my previous Shark experiences. I already have a Vacuum mop previously that I really enjoy so I wanted to compare the Shark version. Here's what I found. 1. The materials on the Shark are not as high quality or premium as the more expensive competitor which is to be expected. The lights and LED readouts are not as high-tech and the charging and cleaning base in particular was not as substantial feeling compared to my other unit. 2. The clean and dirty water containers on the Shark were much smaller, maybe 1/3rd the capacity of my other unit. Interestingly however, it didn't seem like it had that big of an impact on the actual ability to clean and how many times I had to change the water. It seems like the Shark uses less water for similar results which is nice since constantly changing the dirty water tank and adding more water is time-consuming. 3. The brush cleaning head removal and design is not as good on the Shark. My other unit is easy to remove from the side without having to mess with a plastic enclosure. It is also designed so that the roller can go right up to the edge of a cabinet or baseboard. 4. Overall battery life was really good, I was able to clean my kitchen floor on one charge with 1 bar left. For light cleanup duty this will work great. If you have dirty dried on stains or messes, make sure you pre-treat with either hot/warm water mopped on or some kind of spray cleaner like power wash and let it sit before you come back with the Shark. 5. The self-propelled functionality is excellent, maybe even better than my other more expensive unit. You can feel it pulling forward and when pulling back it doesn't give much or any resistance. Really a nice difference with and without self-propelled. Overall very pleased with the unit and if you use it regularly it is something that will make a big difference in keeping your floors clean. Pair it up with a robo vacuum and have that clean up the big bits off the floor first and you have a winning combo.TechBuyer

I love Shark products and I had high hopes for this HydroVac, as it has the potential for turning two jobs into one. We have used it several times and it's always the same result, doesn't pick up everything doesn't quite clean the floors. According to the helpful videos that were provided via QR code, the HydroVac should be able to pick up normal trash like pieces of candy, dirt debris, cereal like a normal vacuum would, this doesn't. With kids in the house and those literal things on the floor along with pet hair and normal dirt, it only picked up about half the dirt none of the candy, although it did rub the color off one piece. I would prefer to use the Shark robot to pick up the debris. I also don't feel that it does a great job with cleaning the floor, like a traditional mop would. It sort of just lightly washes it. I do love that it can clean the carpet somewhat, it's not a deep cleaner but it does clean and sanitize it to a degree. I do like that there are lights on it to help you see in areas that may be dark and I also love that it self cleans and that it's cordless. One the other side of that however, it's very noisy when in use and you really have to control it because it seems to go on it's own (has quite a motor on it. The emptying process is fairly easy as you just empty the dirty water from the back and then empty the debris that is picked up in the trash. Emptying the debris can be a little difficult since it's wet and tends to stick to the container. Twice as worse if it's pet hair. All in all the HydroVac has the potential to be a great product to replace mopping and sweeping/vacuuming but it's not there yet. I think this will be extra useful for a household that maybe doesn't have as much traffic and activity. I wouldn't recommend it necessarily for a busy householdLorielnj

After hearing about these small robot vacuums on the market and how well they work, I knew I wouldn't want just any model and so I forgot about them after awhile. Well, here comes Shark and with this vac mop, in my opinion, they really hit the nail on the head with this new technology. Set up was so easy. After it fully charged, I opened the SharkClean app and it walked me through the easy process of setting up my robot vac mop from connecting to my internet to mapping my home and then cleaning. The app even walks you through the process of setting up zones like carpeted areas. As the unit was mapping my home I read the entire manual and was impressed that the robot has what is called object detection technology and will navigate around obstacles. Sure enough, when it approached the four legged coffee table in my living room, it gracefully circled around each leg when it was cleaning row by row. After the first vacuuming, I emptied the dust bin and was amazed at how much it collected. To the naked eye, my home didn't look like it really needed much of a vacuuming, so this was an eye opening experience. I decided to wait and use the vac mop function on my wooden kitchen floor later in the day after dinner and it worked wonderfully. When cooking, my husband accidentally dropped a piece of flesh from a serrano chili and we purposely left it on the floor to see if the vac mop would be successful in picking it up and it was! I emptied the dust bin and found the small piece of chili among the many crumbs my boys are responsible for. Every few days, or when I remember, I gently wipe around the entire unit and it's base and find very few long hairs wrapped around the roller of the vacuum. I expected this, as I have very long hair and I know nothing is ever as perfect as it claims to be. Nonetheless, in my opinion, it's a very well made household necessity and I'm so very blessed to have it helping me around my home giving me more time to focus on my family. I named my robots Rosie, Doug and Worthington. Yes, you heard me correctly. I have three attractive and reliable vac mops for my tri-level home and I'm not the least bit ashamed. Adding the additional robots to the app was simple and I followed the prompts which made it super quick. I will be recommending this to everyone who will listen to me rave about these.SoCOJewels

The Shark AI Robot VacMop isn’t our first robot vacuum nor robot mop, but is the first device we’ve owned that does both these operations simultaneously. I like that it is a little bit smarter than the robot vacuum we’ve been using because it supports room mapping and has laser-guided vision in addition to drop sensors and physical bumper sensors. I’ve noticed that these in combination makes it less likely to ‘bump and redirect’ than our other robots, protecting our walls and furniture from nicks and scratches and things from being knocked over. The initial setup was a mixed-bag experience. If you want to unlock all the features of the robot, you must use the accompanying smart phone app, SharkClean. This allows you to access features like scheduled cleanings, view and edit the rooms mapping, and adjusting the settings on the vacuum like eco/max suction modes. Without the app, you can still use the robot and initiate a simple cleaning cycle by pressing the 'clean' button on the unit. The main complaint I have about the app is that it requires an internet connection, and won't work if the robot and smartphone are connected to the same WiFi router without Internet access. That makes this robot impossible to use with the app if your Internet service goes down, in areas of the house without a WiFi signal, or if you don’t want the device to be online. After creating an online account and adding the robot to it, it needs to go through a couple of exploration cycles. The first maps the room and the second detects carpets and rugs for creating ‘no-go’ areas when mopping. Depending on the size and complexity of your room layout this mapping may or may not be very accurate. For example, in my home we have a fairly high transition between the dining room and the kitchen which the robot was unable to traverse. Indeed, it got stuck on the transition and was spinning its wheels for several minutes before it dislodged itself. This resulted in a map with a distorted the layout of the rooms since it continued to ‘map’ its path despite remaining in one spot. It fared much better when we physically blocked its path to areas where it could not, or we did not want it to, go. You can optionally use adhesive magnetic BotBoundary strips (sold separately) placed on your floors to create a ‘virtual wall’ that it will not cross. The robot was not able to travel our high-nap carpeted hallway, getting stuck within the first few feet and simply turning around, therefore I do not recommend it for carpeted floors. It performed best in square, enclosed rooms with few obstacles and hard flooring; the instructions are clear that you should remove objects and wires that may block its path or get stuck on prior to mapping. The map editing feature in the app was disappointingly frustrating to use to modify incorrect mappings and add missing areas, often resulting in the error ‘one of rooms will not be added to your map.’ We found it easier to simply delete the map and start the exploration cycle over; note that syncing updates to the map with the robot, including deleting the map, is surprisingly slow. Also, the robot can only store one map at a time, making it impossible to pick up and move the robot/base to another floor of the house, or even a room that’s separate from the existing map, without remapping the new area from scratch each time. Software user-friendliness aside, the actual vacuuming and mopping performance is very good, though a bit loud when running. The robot picks up a lot of dust, hair, and debris. However, the dust bin is a bit messy to empty out, oftentimes dropping a bit of its contents when detached from the main body of the robot, and fine dust clings to it readily. Though, it is completely washable in the sink under running water, including the removable dust filter tray. When mopping, coverage was about 95% efficient. Areas where we found the mop pad didn’t touch were along the perimeter of the rooms, 1 to 3 inches out from the walls and all around the dock base plate.Jrt0327

Confused, but has spirit is the best way to describe the little fellow. He's also a pain in the butt to rescue sometimes… Most times. The laser guidance and thoroughness is impressive. I have a large home with little foot traffic and it manages to sweep up a lot of dust everyday when I empty him out. It surprises me how much there is that I can't see, but it definitely makes it easier to not do it myself. He's gotten stuck a lot by accidentally closing the doors when he's in the closet or bathroom and the app is finicky with finding him. When the app does work, it reduces the 30 minute hunt… And that's if he has enough battery life to cry out for help when I ping him. It can be frustrating when he catches and drags cords or other loose or hanging items like scarves, but I would say the obstacle avoidance isn't that bad. The mopping feature is mediocre, as it just lightly mops, making me feel like I could do a better job manually. There's a lot of room for improvement, but if you chose to start with this robot for a trial period, you learn what you want over time. The house has been more lively with his antics, so I do overlook those frustrations a lot, but sadly he's not worth the price, so I will be returning him soon.Gambare

As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

The concept of this mop is excellent. In order to offer a thorough review I am going to break it down into cons and pros. Pros: 1. Dual tanks: As opposed to other mops, like the Spinwave mop, this mop comes with dual tanks. This idea is great because there is a tank with clean water continuosly providing water to the roller while the other tank collects the dirty water created as the mop cleans your floor. This is a major plus because you are no longer spreading the dirt all around your floors. 2. Three rollers: The fact that 3 rollers are included it makes it really easy to continue using this mop even if one roller is out of service because it's drying. 3. Light weight: The mop is light in weight and it's easy to maneuver throughout my hardwood floors. 4. Built-in Screen: It's nice to have a screen that displays the battery percent remaining as you mop the floors. As it goes down it kind of rushes you to finish the job. LOL 5. Mop and vacuum cleaner combined: This thing can mop and vacuum at the same time. It's great if you want to go straight into mopping without vacuuming. Down side to this is that you will have to clean the dirty water tank and it's not fun. Cons: 1. Price: At $400, I think this mop is too expensive. I was lucky enough to get it when it was on sale for a fraction of the cost. At the price point I bought it, it's a steal. 2. Edges cannot be mopped: This mop will not be able to mop the edges around your house due to how the mop was designed. It leaves about 1 cm or 2 of the hardwood unmopped. I haven't seen a real issue with this but I know some people get upset about this. I have a Roomba J7+ that vacuums the edges real well so I am not really worried about it. Plus, the edges do not get really dirty, it's not a high traffic area. 3. Small tanks: While the concept of dual tanks is awesome, their size is really not. If you are planning to mop around 1,500 Sq. Ft at a time you may have to refill the clean water tank and also discard the water in the dirty water tank at least once. 4. Cleaning the dirty water tank: This mop offers the dual feature of vacuuming and mopping all at once. It's great if you don't want to vacuum before mopping but just keep in mind that YOU will be the one responsible for cleaning the dirty water tank. The tank can get really nasty and you may not like what you see. Thankfully I have a Roomba and I always let it vacuum first before I mop. 5. Battery life: I put this as a con because the battery only lasts for about 35 minutes. If you are wanting to mop a house that is 2,500 Sq. Ft or higher you have to take a long break to let this thing charge again. I would definitely suggest this company to add a bigger battery or offer a fast charging station like Ego does. It would be nice to get back to cleaning within an hour as opposed to waiting for at least 5 full hours.Buenascompras

As someone who owns a home with mostly hardwood floors, small amounts of carpets, and a large number of rugs, I've definitely struggled to find the best and most versatile cleaning solutions. The Floor One S3 is the closest I've come yet to floor cleaning bliss. Things I liked about it: Tidy package with the dock, holds most of the parts and accessories, and you don't have to plug in to charge it, there are contacts in the dock that do this for you. Extra brush roller Self Cleaning mode when you dock Voice announcements for what it's doing as it cleans/changes modes iLoop tells you when it detects dirty floors Things I didn't like as much (Opportunities) HEAVY for it's size Battery life is shorter than expected for the size Auto Mode tends to use more water than I would expect Does this really need wifi? Clean water tank is even smaller/shorter use time than the battery life Doesn't sneak in under things as nimbly as you might hope Voice announcements will definitely need to be shut off, or at least reduced in volume This vac-mop is quite hefty for it's somewhat compact looking size, and is definitely bottom weighted design. The cleaning power and abilities are the best I've seen yet from a vac mop, and I have been zipping it out just to have the satisfaction of cleaning up a particular mess or dust bunny. On the flip side, I feel like I can watch the battery level drop by the second as I use it, and it doesn't quite do my entire main floor of hardwood/tile. The clean water tank seems like I'm constantly filling it. Reading the manual is NOT optional, as you need to know how often to manually clean what. The iLoop display is informative, and I found I was able to charge it up and start using it immediately. I love it, I'm not going back, also I'll keep waiting or the perfect solution, but until then, I'm using this one.dronedad

The Tineco = Floor One S3 Extreme Wet/Dry Hard Floor Cordless Vacuum impressed us both on its very first use. The assembly amounts to snapping the handle into place and putting the clean water tank into place. and that's it! The loop on the handle points forward and where you put it in the machine has a matching groove for the little protrusion on the handle bottom front side so you can't put it on wrong. Plug it in to charge up, add one capful of the enclosed Tineco cleaning/disinfecting solution and go read the book while it charges. It talks to you! Letting you know what its doing or that you need to do to it and its display ring turns from red to blue as to let you know the area that you are cleaning is clean. The voice assist can be turned off if not desired at the time or not desired at all. It's really lightweight and relatively quiet and on normal dirt and dust days it is even self – cleaning.! Just put it back in the charging base and hit the self – cleaning button and it cleans the roller for you. Of course you still have to dump and clean the dirty water tank and filter yourself. And speaking of dirty water we were very surprised at exactly how dirty the water was. I dry mop daily and wet mop when it needs it or at least every other week but the Tineco picked up so much more than that method. It left us with very clean, mopped and vacuumed and shiny vinal and sealed hardwood floors in the time it takes to vacuum only otherwise. Now after a big mess such as spaghetti'o's or something you may have to manually clean the tank and roller but that is an easy task as well. Personally we will generally clean up major messes with paper towels before attempting to use this or anything else before we had this. It can also be used in suction mode only where needed or required. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to try several robot vacuums, but nothing has come close to the ECOVACS Robotics DEEBOT X1 OMNI Robot Vacuum & Mop. This unit offers so many features and outperforms all previous units and it also includes a mop feature! What’s in the box: – DEEBOT X1 OMNI vacuum and mop robot – OMNI auto-emptying and auto-cleaning station – Extra dust bag – Extra pair of mopping pads – Cleaning brush – User manual When it arrived the size of the box was a little surprising, I was nervous about how big this robot might be. Once unboxed, it is actually a very manageable size for our home. We have a perfect spot in our family room for the base unit which provides access to all the hardwood and tile flooring on the main level. Setup: There are extensive instructions included (user manual) that are easy to follow and made the initial setup a breeze. Ecovacs has done an amazing job of simplifying the setup process for the non-technical user. Both the Deebot (vacuum) and the Omni station (base – instructions attached) require setup. The base needs to be plugged in and the clean water tank filled. The DEEBOT should be fully charged before initial use. The side brushes and mop pads can be installed at this point or left off for initial mapping of the required spaces. Once the area is mapped a 2D or 3D map is available, rooms can be identified, and zones can be setup and customized as desired. There are numerous settings available based on user preferences. Cleaning: The DEEBOT X1 simply outperforms any previous robot vacuums I have owned. The unit runs quietly, and the mopping performance far exceeded my expectations. We have a small dog that keeps us on our toes in terms of cleaning the hardwood and tile flooring and it’s now a snap. We get approximately 3-4 cleanings out of a tank and the clean up between uses is very manageable. I've owned several robot vacuums and I can say nothing comes close to this Ecovacs robot. I've used it for a few days now and am completely blown away with how well this robot works and how dead simple Ecovacs made the whole process. Out of the box this thing is huge. I've had one other self emptying robot vac and the base station for the X1 dwarfs my old base station. This is largely due to the fact that this base station has two massive water tanks to fill and empty the robots on board water tank used to mop hard surfaces. The robot itself is sleek and feel sturdy and very high quality. Packed with every feature imaginable, this robot really is the most advanced smart home device I've ever used. Setting the Robot up was so simple. I followed the instructions in the app, plugged in the base station, connected to wifi and used Ecovacs built in voice assistant "He Yikko" to tell the vacuum to get started. It then made it's way around my house quickly mapping out the entire house room by room. Gone are the days where you have to wait through several full vacuum cycles to get a map of your house. Within 15 minutes the app was updated with an almost perfect map of my house, it even recognized the toilet in the bathroom. After getting the map of the house, I popped on the mop brushes and sent the vac on its way cleaning my house. There were a few things I was really surprised with. The first being how quickly it made its way around my house. It was considerably faster than my old robot and still cleaned just as well if not better. The second was the X1's ability to identify changes in the floor. When you have the mop brushes on the X1 easily identifies transitions to rugs or carpets and knows not to go there and try to mop your carpet. I was also shocked at just how well it cleaned after its first full run. The first run the X1 wandered around finding every wall and moving in what fell like no logical way. But at the end it did clean the house. But every time after that this thing moved like a well oiled machine, starting at the back of the house and moving room by room making straight lines through the whole floor. I will say my floors have not looked this good in a long time. I decided to really test out the X1 by starting it without cleaning up the shoes and toys my kids left all over the house and not opening all the doors all the way. I was again shocked to watch the X1 roam through the house, dodging socks and dolls and finding its way through a half opened door to go about its business. It really only tripped up once by sucking up a white barbie dress, which to be honest is understandable. I've learned the X1's base water tank will last about 4 cycles of mopping by about 1000 sq ft of hardwood, which seems very nice. Emptying the dirty water is quick and simple and man was it full of dirty water. I have no doubt this think is cleaning after looking at the water. It really is a start and forget kind of robot that will do everything you need it to and exceed all your expectations. But the fun doesn't stop at mopping and vacuuming. The X1 has a few other little features that just add to the fun. The first being the build in voice assistant. I wasn't expecting very much, since usually proprietary voice assistants don't work as well as Google or Alexa, but this this is pretty cool. It's faster to respond than any assistant I've used and works great for getting the X1 started and has fun little features like yelling at your X1 to come clean by your feet. There is also a built in camera and speaker on the front of the X1 that lets you use the X1 like a sentry if you want it to roam your house to keep an eye on things while you are away. It's an interesting feature and a neat little addition. I can't say I've gotten a ton of use out of it, but how cool is that my vacuum has a camera. Really the only thing I had any problems with was I wanted to put cleaning solution in the water used to mop, but Ecovacs recommends you only use it's cleaning solution. Only problem is, I can't find anywhere that the cleaning solution is sold. It's not even available on Ecovacs website, which is really strange. Overall, this thing has it all. I don't think you'll find a more advanced robot vacuum, which makes sense given this things price tag. SETUP/MAPPING It comes with the Deebot X1 Omni vacuum/mop robot with a plethora of sensors, two side brushes, a “floating” main brush, three wheels, and mop system attachment with pads. The top is magnetic which grants you access to the on/off switch and a cute little bagless bin that can hold 0.1 gallons with a reusable washable filter that empties automatically when the vacuum goes back to the station or manually if you want to go back to that peasant lifestyle. The Omni auto-emptying and auto-cleaning Station is large compared to other bases. As it houses a clean water tub, dirty water tub, a cleaning brush, an extra pair of mop pads, and a 3L disposable dust bag. The power cord is removeable and has a place to wrap it on the back for cable management. Both the vacuum and the base feel well built, solid, and high quality. Each of the tubs has thick plastic with rubber textured handles. Everything opens and closes easily. Along with sliding in and out of place smoothly. You can tell a TON of engineering went into every single aspect of this device. Replacement parts aren’t too expensive either which is good. They report an overall run time of 140 minutes. Which I found to be accurate on stock settings. But if you increase the suction power it is a lot less. If you run out of battery mid clean it will return to the dock, charge a bit, and then resume cleaning. They report it takes 6.5 hours to charge fully. Which is a long time, but they likely chose that to maximize the life of the battery. They say it has a max decibel range of 68 dB. I found on stock settings it was close to 50 – 60 dB and would imagine going to maximum suction would be between 60 – 68 dB. On the lid of the base, it gives you instructions on how to get started. Which pretty much says unbox everything and scan the QR which takes you to the Ecovacs HomeVac App which then walks you thought the rest of the process. Which is pairing your robot, connecting it to the internet, and doing the initial mapping that you can see in real time. They report that it uses True Mapping 2.0 which scans the home environment, quickly generates a map, plans the most efficient cleaning paths, and they guarantee less missed and repeated spots. Which I found to be accurate. Once the initial mapping was done, I fine-tuned it by adjusting my house walls, combining some rooms, labeled them, and made a few software barriers. Such as my stairs. It treats that barrier as a wall, and I haven’t had an issue with it. Overall setup time was about 30 – 40 minutes. VOICE CONTROLS: The Voice Control supports Alexa and Google Assistant. But also has a unique one called Yiko. Which you can access by saying “Ok, Yiko” and then a plethora of commands such as “begin cleaning”, “stop”, “return to dock”, “what are you doing”, “clean x”, “mop x”, “clean under table”, etc. You can say “I’m here” and through sound localization tech it will seek you out and clean around you. All of which worked well just like any modern age smart assistant. However, the robotic voice can be improved as it doesn’t sound very good. You can increase/decrease the volume through commands or via the app. And it will call out when it is doing something which I LOVE. Such as starting a clean, returning to the base, emptying the bag, cleaning the mop pads, etc. Which I really like. As that way you aren’t left wondering. For those of you concerned about privacy voice commands are saved on a server which you can go in and delete in the app. You can also turn it off if you’d like. OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE: It uses something called AIVI 3D which utilizes AI computing power, astrophotography-grade RGB camera, LiDAR, dToF sensor, autopilot technology, and human recognition to identify and detect obstacles while scanning the home and creating paths to clean even in the dark. They do report that it works better in well-lit environments. Which I found to be true but did just fine in the dark. With all this tech it does a spectacular job at avoiding objects. On the extremely rare occurrence it did suck something up it shouldn’t have it would automatically turn off the brush, lift itself up, and try to vroom off. This worked every time without intervention. There are two protective bumpers on the front, and I found it rarely bumped into anything to activate them. Even when it did it was very mild making me unconcerned about damage to the vacuum or the thing it was being rude to. It never ran into me or my dog. When it detects an object (shoes, dog toys, clothes, cords, socks, etc.) it will clean around them with a minimal barrier (maybe an inch/inch and a half) and gets even closer around tables, chairs, or walls (maybe an inch or less). It never got stuck anywhere. I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. The price of this machine is a little pricey, but after trying I definitely understand why. It actually works! So far so good.Redhdedgrl
