Best Multi Surface Vacuum Mop (2025 Update)

I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49

I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

Just bought myself an early Christmas present, the crosswave pro pet multi surface vac/mop. Really amazing how it cleans up, you see/feel/smell the difference instantly. I have health issues so sweeping/mopping is a challenge for me and i needed an easy option that worked. I have multiple cats and this is amazing with cat fur/dried up hairballs/cat litter etc, the fact that it separates all the icky stuff from the clean water makes the biggest difference…you will be in shock how much gets ckeaned up. Now this beautiful household tool needs care in between using it but i like the finished product so much i don't mind the clean up after and still easier then sweeping and mopping with way better results, plus i just put it up on my counter for easy access for the clean up. Tips: 1) don't use with a wet filter, always put a dry filter in. 2) get a baby tooth brush to get in small crevasse. 3) sweep out corners or hard to reach spots into where it can be vacuumed because this machine cant get to them. 4) i didn't get cordless because i don't want to deal with future batterie issues (not saying it happens but more likely then a cord) put top of cord on hook as you vacuum, easier to control cord dosen't get in your way. 5) clean spray holes if needed with paper clip. 6) make sure if you are dumping dirty water or cleaning off in the sink you have a drajn catcher because pet fur and gunk gets everywhere, you'll see as you are clean everything off and dumping water out, don'twant that going down your drain. 7) go slow when spraying the water, give wet vac mop a chance to do its thing. 8) make sure everything is dry b4 you put back together so no mold or smells start to happen. Like i mentioned, if you take care of this it will continue to take care of your floors and rugs. Ps: Not paid to write this, just a regular human. I paid for my crosswave and i really love it. No love is as great as the first, as they say. I bought this last year but after taking it to a friends house and power washing and vacuuming their entire 2 bedroom apartment for 5 hours straight for 2 days in a row, i think i mightve found the breaking point of this product… Haha, so after it wouldnt turn on, i returned it. I ended up going through 3 other new vacuums and returned them all, only to repurchase this as the 5th one. As i mentioned in the previous review for the Bissell Proheat Duo Pet vacuum, this one here was the absolute perfect size for a 5'3 girl living in a small apt. Its great in smler spaces and even if the suction is not as powerful as the Proheat Duo vacuum, this one does a good enough job for the size and its ease of use cant be beat. Cleaning it is suuuuuuper easy, refilling the water is super easy, and all i gotta do is just press a maximum of 2 buttons. (Meanwhile the pro heat duo has me feeling like an airplane technician, after having to take out a bunch components to clean it which was NOT easy and having so many buttons!!!) Im a bit OCD with vacuuming my carpet all the time (every day) and im always very pleased with the carpet cleaning after i wash it. Overall its been the best model i have found for a Wet/Dry vacuum so i highly recommend if its for a 1 bedroom apt. My only gripes are that this is not easy to push!!! Also wish it could suction better when going BACKWARDS because it only suctions good moving forward but not if i pass over it backwards and if the suction would be stronger too. After hearing about these small robot vacuums on the market and how well they work, I knew I wouldn't want just any model and so I forgot about them after awhile. Well, here comes Shark and with this vac mop, in my opinion, they really hit the nail on the head with this new technology. Set up was so easy. After it fully charged, I opened the SharkClean app and it walked me through the easy process of setting up my robot vac mop from connecting to my internet to mapping my home and then cleaning. The app even walks you through the process of setting up zones like carpeted areas. As the unit was mapping my home I read the entire manual and was impressed that the robot has what is called object detection technology and will navigate around obstacles. Sure enough, when it approached the four legged coffee table in my living room, it gracefully circled around each leg when it was cleaning row by row. After the first vacuuming, I emptied the dust bin and was amazed at how much it collected. To the naked eye, my home didn't look like it really needed much of a vacuuming, so this was an eye opening experience. I decided to wait and use the vac mop function on my wooden kitchen floor later in the day after dinner and it worked wonderfully. When cooking, my husband accidentally dropped a piece of flesh from a serrano chili and we purposely left it on the floor to see if the vac mop would be successful in picking it up and it was! I emptied the dust bin and found the small piece of chili among the many crumbs my boys are responsible for. Every few days, or when I remember, I gently wipe around the entire unit and it's base and find very few long hairs wrapped around the roller of the vacuum. I expected this, as I have very long hair and I know nothing is ever as perfect as it claims to be. Nonetheless, in my opinion, it's a very well made household necessity and I'm so very blessed to have it helping me around my home giving me more time to focus on my family. I named my robots Rosie, Doug and Worthington. Yes, you heard me correctly. I have three attractive and reliable vac mops for my tri-level home and I'm not the least bit ashamed. Adding the additional robots to the app was simple and I followed the prompts which made it super quick. I will be recommending this to everyone who will listen to me rave about these.SoCOJewels

The Shark AI Robot VacMop isn’t our first robot vacuum nor robot mop, but is the first device we’ve owned that does both these operations simultaneously. I like that it is a little bit smarter than the robot vacuum we’ve been using because it supports room mapping and has laser-guided vision in addition to drop sensors and physical bumper sensors. I’ve noticed that these in combination makes it less likely to ‘bump and redirect’ than our other robots, protecting our walls and furniture from nicks and scratches and things from being knocked over. The initial setup was a mixed-bag experience. If you want to unlock all the features of the robot, you must use the accompanying smart phone app, SharkClean. This allows you to access features like scheduled cleanings, view and edit the rooms mapping, and adjusting the settings on the vacuum like eco/max suction modes. Without the app, you can still use the robot and initiate a simple cleaning cycle by pressing the 'clean' button on the unit. The main complaint I have about the app is that it requires an internet connection, and won't work if the robot and smartphone are connected to the same WiFi router without Internet access. That makes this robot impossible to use with the app if your Internet service goes down, in areas of the house without a WiFi signal, or if you don’t want the device to be online. After creating an online account and adding the robot to it, it needs to go through a couple of exploration cycles. The first maps the room and the second detects carpets and rugs for creating ‘no-go’ areas when mopping. Depending on the size and complexity of your room layout this mapping may or may not be very accurate. For example, in my home we have a fairly high transition between the dining room and the kitchen which the robot was unable to traverse. Indeed, it got stuck on the transition and was spinning its wheels for several minutes before it dislodged itself. This resulted in a map with a distorted the layout of the rooms since it continued to ‘map’ its path despite remaining in one spot. It fared much better when we physically blocked its path to areas where it could not, or we did not want it to, go. You can optionally use adhesive magnetic BotBoundary strips (sold separately) placed on your floors to create a ‘virtual wall’ that it will not cross. The robot was not able to travel our high-nap carpeted hallway, getting stuck within the first few feet and simply turning around, therefore I do not recommend it for carpeted floors. It performed best in square, enclosed rooms with few obstacles and hard flooring; the instructions are clear that you should remove objects and wires that may block its path or get stuck on prior to mapping. The map editing feature in the app was disappointingly frustrating to use to modify incorrect mappings and add missing areas, often resulting in the error ‘one of rooms will not be added to your map.’ We found it easier to simply delete the map and start the exploration cycle over; note that syncing updates to the map with the robot, including deleting the map, is surprisingly slow. Also, the robot can only store one map at a time, making it impossible to pick up and move the robot/base to another floor of the house, or even a room that’s separate from the existing map, without remapping the new area from scratch each time. Software user-friendliness aside, the actual vacuuming and mopping performance is very good, though a bit loud when running. The robot picks up a lot of dust, hair, and debris. However, the dust bin is a bit messy to empty out, oftentimes dropping a bit of its contents when detached from the main body of the robot, and fine dust clings to it readily. Though, it is completely washable in the sink under running water, including the removable dust filter tray. When mopping, coverage was about 95% efficient. Areas where we found the mop pad didn’t touch were along the perimeter of the rooms, 1 to 3 inches out from the walls and all around the dock base plate.Jrt0327

Confused, but has spirit is the best way to describe the little fellow. He's also a pain in the butt to rescue sometimes… Most times. The laser guidance and thoroughness is impressive. I have a large home with little foot traffic and it manages to sweep up a lot of dust everyday when I empty him out. It surprises me how much there is that I can't see, but it definitely makes it easier to not do it myself. He's gotten stuck a lot by accidentally closing the doors when he's in the closet or bathroom and the app is finicky with finding him. When the app does work, it reduces the 30 minute hunt… And that's if he has enough battery life to cry out for help when I ping him. It can be frustrating when he catches and drags cords or other loose or hanging items like scarves, but I would say the obstacle avoidance isn't that bad. The mopping feature is mediocre, as it just lightly mops, making me feel like I could do a better job manually. There's a lot of room for improvement, but if you chose to start with this robot for a trial period, you learn what you want over time. The house has been more lively with his antics, so I do overlook those frustrations a lot, but sadly he's not worth the price, so I will be returning him soon.Gambare

As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Second, the instructions point out to clean after every use (highly recommend or I've found there is an odor with use).designgal78

Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. For $99 it is not worth it. This should be a $39 dollar machine tops.Cutlass275

This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney

I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. Make sure you youse warm-hot water with or without solution since will tackle the dirt better. I’m happy with the product and it really saves me a lot of time and does a great job!!!Denisik91

I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

I'm pleased with this all in one steam mop and vacuum. We live in a small home and our family area, hallway, and bathrooms are all hard wood floors. Makes cleaning our hard floors so much easier. We have two indoor cats and they shed a lot after the winter/cold months. The vacuum definitely has a powerful suction to collect all the loose cat hair and other debris. I'm also loving this all in one because I am able to steam mop my floors at the same time the vacuum is on to kill two cleaning tasks at once instead of using a standard broom/dust pan prior to my regular old steam mop. It's made cleaning a lot easier for me.Katie

I bought this hoping to kill two birds at one time while cleaning my floors. Prior to this I had a $75 bissell steam cleaner. The first time I used this I was excited and impressed. The little stains on my kitchen floor came right up and the vacuum suction was awesome. I thought wow! This is great. Then I brought it out to use the second time and came across something stick to the floor. I thought no problem. This will be quick and easy to get up. Boy was I wrong. It took at least 30 tries with this machine to get it up. I even held the steam over the stuck on yuck with no luck. I had to push down on the handle and basically scrub it up. It would've been quicker and easier to use a spray cleaner and rag to get it up. What's the point if I have muscle gunk off the floor by pressing the pad onto the floor hard? My shoulder hurt by the time I was done getting it off. There are other issues too: The steam is not hot at all… my former $75 steam mop left my floors hot to the touch which is how it's supposed to kill germs. This leaves the floors Luke warm. If you have multiple floors in different places in your home to clean like bathrooms etc you will have to unplug this, go to that spot, plug it back in and wait the thirty seconds for it to heat up. This is annoying. The water container is small and runs out quickly. So between the fact that this takes brute strength to get up stuck on gunk and it isn't hot enough to kill germs I'm not impressed.FloridaMom

Bought this ti replace an old 1940 (steam mop). I vacuumed thrn mopped, so this seemed like a perfect combination. Unfortunately the combination mop / vacuum mop ended up being worse than buying separately. First, the steam function is very quiet (good) so its hard to tell if its on or not, as a result holding the mop "on" trigger bacame laborious. I couldnt tell if the steam function was on causing me to squeeze harder and harder, then constantly letting go just to see if its on. The 1940 is on the entire time (simple). Next, very little steam actually came out when compared to the old 1940 impacting the mops capability to pickup dirt. After cleaning my kitchen tile it did a great job of vacuuming dirt, but the mop cloth head was only 20% dirty. Unsure it its faulty or working as designed. Returned and bought another 1940.yeller

So I have a Love-hate relationship with this machine. I hate that the dirty water tank fills up so quickly and that the brush roll gets dirty so fast so your floors not really getting completely clean but it’s convenient that it vacuums sweeps and mops at the same time. I don’t like that it doesn’t do well in corners or right up against the wall or whatever it’s near so half an inch when it’s mopping isn’t getting touched. I really wish it had some sort of attachment to get in the corners so I have to sweep it out to be picked up, like all around the corners the tops of the baseboard under the bed, under the dressers, under the couch and up against the cabinets and wall. The front of the machine won’t fit under my cabinet bottom because the head of the machine is too thick so I have to get a broom and sweep it away from the lip, and the way my cabinets are made at the bottom they are all the way to the floor and they don’t move and where the doors close there’s a 2 inch overhang or lip place under there that you can see but it overhangs so the machine won’t go under it by like a hair. If only it was half an inch to 1/4 of an inch thinner the machine would fit. I don’t like when I go under the bed, I can’t even get halfway under there without the bottom of the machine lifting up off the floor, so it doesn’t get vacuumed or mopped there, (unless I do it manually, and I DO, it’s the o.c.d. in me) my room is so small I can’t slide my bed far enough away in either direction to get those spots with the machine. I think they should make it to where it stays on the floor when you go under anything, and also it should be thinner to fit under anything. It will give the signal by getting really loud saying it’s full when it’s not if anything gets at the top of the floater sensor like dirt or hair. It will also do this if you lean it back too far. But I repeat but don’t let this keep you from buying this machine because with seven kids between me and my husband and three adults life gets messy and I don’t have any carpet in my house it’s all hardwood and tile. This machine saves my sanity some days. You don’t feel anything on the floor when you walk barefoot after you’ve done the floors with the machine, like you do when you sweep and mop I don’t care how many times I sweep and mop manually I will always find more and feel more dirt. So this machine is awesome, it has a long cord so I don’t have to move the cord every single time I go 10 feet, Which sometimes when I’m in a hurry the cord can get in my way or get tangled up but if you know that in advance it’s not a problem. I do think this machine is worth the money. I would not go with the cordless because it only last 30 minutes off the charger, and after a while those cordless items stop charging or holding a charge.I can get past little issues that irk me about this machine due to the fact it does such a wonderful job!candace

I purchased this vacuum back in May/June of 2021 and have had the last 6 months to really use this thing and put it to the test and honestly- I'm not impressed. I'm already way past the return window, so I just wanted to leave a review for others so people can know my personal experience. It doesn't have the suction to pull the cleaner/water out of any rugs or carpet I own. So, we are left with wet carpet for hours after using this. It also does not clean the floors properly with the brush. It's really just moving dirty water around while only sucking up a small fraction of what I have put down. There are dirty water streaks every time I use this to mop. When using the vacuum dry, the dust and hair clog up the filter within minutes and I have to empty it multiple times while vacuuming, even though the container itself is not nearly full. I have a long haired cat, and I myself have long hair. Neither of these things have agreed with this vacuum. If you have a cat and plan on vacuuming any cat litter with this- don't. It will become a large clay litter clump in the suction tube of the vacuum that you have to get out yourself. It will also leave nasty gray streaks of litter/water on the floor. Additionally, my fallen hair gets so tangled in the spinning brush that I have to cut it off. Honestly, that might not be avoidable or the fault of the vacuum. My hair also gets caught on the sides of the spinning brush and becomes an unmanageable mess that can't be removed. This was probably my worst "big purchase" of 2021. I got the Crosswave Max as a splurge birthday present, but I do not like it at all. It is not convenient. Have to assemble before each use, fill with water and their solution (cannot use just water for brush head reasons), then after use have to run the brush clean function and disassemble and clean all the other parts and let them dry. So you need a dedicated area for all this, just like a full on carpet cleaner. In all that time it takes to assemble and clean up after, I can bend over and pick up or sweep up any of my toddler’s mess AND warm up and use my steam mop. Going back to the brush cleaning cycle, it does not do much to clean the brush. The brush remains dirty, discoloured, and unless you soak it in detergent for at least 30 minutes with a good rinse after (blue dish soap, or laundry soap, or their solution, etc), it will remain dirty and leaves a lot of streaks and milky film on the floor the next use. I have darker floors, so it looked disgusting after the wetness dried. I would have to use my steam mop after using the crosswave and the pad would be very gross after, but atleast the floors would finally look good. It’s also a slow machine to use. You basically wet the floor area going slowly so it’s evenly wet and then have to go over it several times to try to dry it as much as possible. You have to do this section by section. It would take much too long to do only my kitchen, where I could sweep or vacuum and mop it in half the time. I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the treatment I received from Walmart when trying to return it. I have used this specific mop vac in the past, so I know how it works. The mop vac was delivered, I used it for the first time, everything was great. The second time I used it, it did not work. Since I know how this item works, I tried everything: charging the battery, dumping the cleaning solution, cleaning the head. The mop vac still did not work. It's clear I received a lemon, and that's ok, I understand these things happen and it's nobody's fault. I took the 30 min trip to Walmart to return it and I was disgusted at how I was treated by the customer service rep. I was spoken down to as if I were a fool for throwing away the box it came in. As I tried to explain that I threw away the box after the first use because it worked after the first use, I was dismissed and was told to take it up with Shark. I'm sorry that I don't have the room in my home to hold onto boxes of everything I purchase. I'm really surprised at Walmart's customer care, or lack there of. So I found this on sale at my local Walmart and decided to get it. I have a toddler and it’s kind of difficult to constantly sweep and mop every time he eats and snacks. He is very messy! I do like this product butttt I feel like it’s best overall for like a quick clean not a deep clean. I do use mine every day but I do feel like it’s best for a quick clean up or when you have unexpected company coming it’s very easy to just grab so you can practically use itAt the same time. I'm a big of fan of Shark Ninja products because while they're not the best in class devices out there, they tend to bring the most recent expensive tech down to affordable prices for the masses. Generally you're going to see there are some limitations or some scaled back features on the Shark gadgets but overall the functionality is similar if not the same or better than more expensive competitors. This Shark 3-in-1 Pro Vacuum XL is similar to my previous Shark experiences. I already have a Vacuum mop previously that I really enjoy so I wanted to compare the Shark version. Here's what I found. 1. The materials on the Shark are not as high quality or premium as the more expensive competitor which is to be expected. The lights and LED readouts are not as high-tech and the charging and cleaning base in particular was not as substantial feeling compared to my other unit. 2. The clean and dirty water containers on the Shark were much smaller, maybe 1/3rd the capacity of my other unit. Interestingly however, it didn't seem like it had that big of an impact on the actual ability to clean and how many times I had to change the water. It seems like the Shark uses less water for similar results which is nice since constantly changing the dirty water tank and adding more water is time-consuming. 3. The brush cleaning head removal and design is not as good on the Shark. My other unit is easy to remove from the side without having to mess with a plastic enclosure. It is also designed so that the roller can go right up to the edge of a cabinet or baseboard. 4. Overall battery life was really good, I was able to clean my kitchen floor on one charge with 1 bar left. For light cleanup duty this will work great. If you have dirty dried on stains or messes, make sure you pre-treat with either hot/warm water mopped on or some kind of spray cleaner like power wash and let it sit before you come back with the Shark. 5. The self-propelled functionality is excellent, maybe even better than my other more expensive unit. You can feel it pulling forward and when pulling back it doesn't give much or any resistance. Really a nice difference with and without self-propelled. Overall very pleased with the unit and if you use it regularly it is something that will make a big difference in keeping your floors clean. Pair it up with a robo vacuum and have that clean up the big bits off the floor first and you have a winning combo.TechBuyer

I love Shark products and I had high hopes for this HydroVac, as it has the potential for turning two jobs into one. We have used it several times and it's always the same result, doesn't pick up everything doesn't quite clean the floors. According to the helpful videos that were provided via QR code, the HydroVac should be able to pick up normal trash like pieces of candy, dirt debris, cereal like a normal vacuum would, this doesn't. With kids in the house and those literal things on the floor along with pet hair and normal dirt, it only picked up about half the dirt none of the candy, although it did rub the color off one piece. I would prefer to use the Shark robot to pick up the debris. I also don't feel that it does a great job with cleaning the floor, like a traditional mop would. It sort of just lightly washes it. I do love that it can clean the carpet somewhat, it's not a deep cleaner but it does clean and sanitize it to a degree. I do like that there are lights on it to help you see in areas that may be dark and I also love that it self cleans and that it's cordless. One the other side of that however, it's very noisy when in use and you really have to control it because it seems to go on it's own (has quite a motor on it. The emptying process is fairly easy as you just empty the dirty water from the back and then empty the debris that is picked up in the trash. Emptying the debris can be a little difficult since it's wet and tends to stick to the container. Twice as worse if it's pet hair. All in all the HydroVac has the potential to be a great product to replace mopping and sweeping/vacuuming but it's not there yet. I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to try several robot vacuums, but nothing has come close to the ECOVACS Robotics DEEBOT X1 OMNI Robot Vacuum & Mop. This unit offers so many features and outperforms all previous units and it also includes a mop feature! What’s in the box: – DEEBOT X1 OMNI vacuum and mop robot – OMNI auto-emptying and auto-cleaning station – Extra dust bag – Extra pair of mopping pads – Cleaning brush – User manual When it arrived the size of the box was a little surprising, I was nervous about how big this robot might be. Once unboxed, it is actually a very manageable size for our home. We have a perfect spot in our family room for the base unit which provides access to all the hardwood and tile flooring on the main level. Setup: There are extensive instructions included (user manual) that are easy to follow and made the initial setup a breeze. Ecovacs has done an amazing job of simplifying the setup process for the non-technical user. Both the Deebot (vacuum) and the Omni station (base – instructions attached) require setup. The base needs to be plugged in and the clean water tank filled. The DEEBOT should be fully charged before initial use. The side brushes and mop pads can be installed at this point or left off for initial mapping of the required spaces. Once the area is mapped a 2D or 3D map is available, rooms can be identified, and zones can be setup and customized as desired. There are numerous settings available based on user preferences. Cleaning: The DEEBOT X1 simply outperforms any previous robot vacuums I have owned. The unit runs quietly, and the mopping performance far exceeded my expectations. We have a small dog that keeps us on our toes in terms of cleaning the hardwood and tile flooring and it’s now a snap. I've owned several robot vacuums and I can say nothing comes close to this Ecovacs robot. I've used it for a few days now and am completely blown away with how well this robot works and how dead simple Ecovacs made the whole process. Out of the box this thing is huge. I've had one other self emptying robot vac and the base station for the X1 dwarfs my old base station. This is largely due to the fact that this base station has two massive water tanks to fill and empty the robots on board water tank used to mop hard surfaces. The robot itself is sleek and feel sturdy and very high quality. Packed with every feature imaginable, this robot really is the most advanced smart home device I've ever used. Setting the Robot up was so simple. I followed the instructions in the app, plugged in the base station, connected to wifi and used Ecovacs built in voice assistant "He Yikko" to tell the vacuum to get started. It then made it's way around my house quickly mapping out the entire house room by room. Gone are the days where you have to wait through several full vacuum cycles to get a map of your house. Within 15 minutes the app was updated with an almost perfect map of my house, it even recognized the toilet in the bathroom. After getting the map of the house, I popped on the mop brushes and sent the vac on its way cleaning my house. There were a few things I was really surprised with. The first being how quickly it made its way around my house. It was considerably faster than my old robot and still cleaned just as well if not better. The second was the X1's ability to identify changes in the floor. When you have the mop brushes on the X1 easily identifies transitions to rugs or carpets and knows not to go there and try to mop your carpet. I was also shocked at just how well it cleaned after its first full run. The first run the X1 wandered around finding every wall and moving in what fell like no logical way. But at the end it did clean the house. But every time after that this thing moved like a well oiled machine, starting at the back of the house and moving room by room making straight lines through the whole floor. I will say my floors have not looked this good in a long time. I decided to really test out the X1 by starting it without cleaning up the shoes and toys my kids left all over the house and not opening all the doors all the way. I was again shocked to watch the X1 roam through the house, dodging socks and dolls and finding its way through a half opened door to go about its business. It really only tripped up once by sucking up a white barbie dress, which to be honest is understandable. I've learned the X1's base water tank will last about 4 cycles of mopping by about 1000 sq ft of hardwood, which seems very nice. Emptying the dirty water is quick and simple and man was it full of dirty water. I have no doubt this think is cleaning after looking at the water. It really is a start and forget kind of robot that will do everything you need it to and exceed all your expectations. But the fun doesn't stop at mopping and vacuuming. The X1 has a few other little features that just add to the fun. The first being the build in voice assistant. I wasn't expecting very much, since usually proprietary voice assistants don't work as well as Google or Alexa, but this this is pretty cool. It's faster to respond than any assistant I've used and works great for getting the X1 started and has fun little features like yelling at your X1 to come clean by your feet. There is also a built in camera and speaker on the front of the X1 that lets you use the X1 like a sentry if you want it to roam your house to keep an eye on things while you are away. It's an interesting feature and a neat little addition. I can't say I've gotten a ton of use out of it, but how cool is that my vacuum has a camera. Really the only thing I had any problems with was I wanted to put cleaning solution in the water used to mop, but Ecovacs recommends you only use it's cleaning solution. Only problem is, I can't find anywhere that the cleaning solution is sold. It's not even available on Ecovacs website, which is really strange. Overall, this thing has it all. I don't think you'll find a more advanced robot vacuum, which makes sense given this things price tag. SETUP/MAPPING It comes with the Deebot X1 Omni vacuum/mop robot with a plethora of sensors, two side brushes, a “floating” main brush, three wheels, and mop system attachment with pads. The top is magnetic which grants you access to the on/off switch and a cute little bagless bin that can hold 0.1 gallons with a reusable washable filter that empties automatically when the vacuum goes back to the station or manually if you want to go back to that peasant lifestyle. The Omni auto-emptying and auto-cleaning Station is large compared to other bases. As it houses a clean water tub, dirty water tub, a cleaning brush, an extra pair of mop pads, and a 3L disposable dust bag. The power cord is removeable and has a place to wrap it on the back for cable management. Both the vacuum and the base feel well built, solid, and high quality. Each of the tubs has thick plastic with rubber textured handles. Everything opens and closes easily. Along with sliding in and out of place smoothly. You can tell a TON of engineering went into every single aspect of this device. Replacement parts aren’t too expensive either which is good. They report an overall run time of 140 minutes. Which I found to be accurate on stock settings. But if you increase the suction power it is a lot less. If you run out of battery mid clean it will return to the dock, charge a bit, and then resume cleaning. They report it takes 6.5 hours to charge fully. Which is a long time, but they likely chose that to maximize the life of the battery. They say it has a max decibel range of 68 dB. I found on stock settings it was close to 50 – 60 dB and would imagine going to maximum suction would be between 60 – 68 dB. On the lid of the base, it gives you instructions on how to get started. Which pretty much says unbox everything and scan the QR which takes you to the Ecovacs HomeVac App which then walks you thought the rest of the process. Which is pairing your robot, connecting it to the internet, and doing the initial mapping that you can see in real time. They report that it uses True Mapping 2.0 which scans the home environment, quickly generates a map, plans the most efficient cleaning paths, and they guarantee less missed and repeated spots. Which I found to be accurate. Once the initial mapping was done, I fine-tuned it by adjusting my house walls, combining some rooms, labeled them, and made a few software barriers. Such as my stairs. It treats that barrier as a wall, and I haven’t had an issue with it. Overall setup time was about 30 – 40 minutes. VOICE CONTROLS: The Voice Control supports Alexa and Google Assistant. But also has a unique one called Yiko. Which you can access by saying “Ok, Yiko” and then a plethora of commands such as “begin cleaning”, “stop”, “return to dock”, “what are you doing”, “clean x”, “mop x”, “clean under table”, etc. You can say “I’m here” and through sound localization tech it will seek you out and clean around you. All of which worked well just like any modern age smart assistant. However, the robotic voice can be improved as it doesn’t sound very good. You can increase/decrease the volume through commands or via the app. And it will call out when it is doing something which I LOVE. Such as starting a clean, returning to the base, emptying the bag, cleaning the mop pads, etc. Which I really like. As that way you aren’t left wondering. For those of you concerned about privacy voice commands are saved on a server which you can go in and delete in the app. You can also turn it off if you’d like. OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE: It uses something called AIVI 3D which utilizes AI computing power, astrophotography-grade RGB camera, LiDAR, dToF sensor, autopilot technology, and human recognition to identify and detect obstacles while scanning the home and creating paths to clean even in the dark. They do report that it works better in well-lit environments. Which I found to be true but did just fine in the dark. With all this tech it does a spectacular job at avoiding objects. On the extremely rare occurrence it did suck something up it shouldn’t have it would automatically turn off the brush, lift itself up, and try to vroom off. This worked every time without intervention. There are two protective bumpers on the front, and I found it rarely bumped into anything to activate them. Even when it did it was very mild making me unconcerned about damage to the vacuum or the thing it was being rude to. It never ran into me or my dog. When it detects an object (shoes, dog toys, clothes, cords, socks, etc.) it will clean around them with a minimal barrier (maybe an inch/inch and a half) and gets even closer around tables, chairs, or walls (maybe an inch or less). It never got stuck anywhere. During the initial mapping it shimmed itself into a small crevice under a bed that was barely big enough for it to fit, went exploring, and came out the other side full of dust with a story of adventure. As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

Robot Vacuums – Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro+ We recently decided it was time to add a new robot vac for the main house, due to a combination of new hardwood floors and a new labrador retriever. I have a neato from several years ago, but technology marches on, and neato is no longer the leader they once were. I looked at the iRobot Roombas, since they are the dominant brand, but felt that there were other options that were superior from both a performance and price perspective. I landed on the Deebot. It's smart, can empty itself, can return for charge and then resume the task, I can tell it what rooms to clean and in what order, and has a mopping attachment. It's not perfect, but it is pretty darn good.whysolonganickname

I purchased this vacuum/mop system to assist with making my life easier but the reality is it actually caused me more stress! PROS: quiet CONS: – constantly dropping wifi connection and when tried to restore via app it would get the entire way to the end of setup then throw an error code to start over – mapping feature is not accurate – not the best with picking up debris – have to add an accessory for the mop function and can only use water while mopping. I contacted the company regarding use of a cleaning product and was advised against it. – battery life not the best. The vacuum would constantly have to recharge before finishing and my space is not large. Overall I wanted to love this product because it is quieter vs my older robotic vacuum, however for the price I just could not justify keeping it due to all the reasons stated above. I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney

I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. Make sure you youse warm-hot water with or without solution since will tackle the dirt better. I’m happy with the product and it really saves me a lot of time and does a great job!!!Denisik91

I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

This little baby is an absolute game changer! With pets and people through the house all day, there has always been the chore of yet another floor vacuum looming. Oh my goodness .that daily chore has been wiped off the list! Instead I have taken great delight in making a coffee and sitting down to watch this wonderful little maid complete it all for me !!! It does a great job, zooming around sucking up all the mess, yet also gently manoeuvres its way around chair legs and obstacles without causing any chaos. And I have to say, one of the best things is that it cleans under the bed!!!! No more do I have to get down there in awkward positions trying to manoeuvre the vacuum stick underneath to clean all the dust! What a winner!!! Absolutely love it and am still so excited about being able to just set it and leave it to do its thingand I don't even have to put it away as when its finished, as it says clean completed and takes itself back to the charging station to charge and wait until the next time! The Deebot not only vacuums but mops as well. Very easy to set up, not terribly noisy and had no problems moving from the tiles to the wooden floor, the carpet or the rugs. Am really happy with the vacuum job it does and although I will still hand mop the floors once a week, the Deebot's mop saves me from having to mop more frequently and my floors stay looking clean and tidy with no effort thanks to this awesome little home helper!Lisa

N8 Pro has all the advanced features of a premium robot vacuum but at a fraction of the price. Suction strength is good for both hard floors and carpet. Carpet detection means it automatically increase suction power for carpets and the cleaning result is good. During the first use it maps out the house, this initial step does take a long time to complete. After the initial mapping, I can choose to clean the whole house or smaller designated areas and it does so in a much shorter amount of time.During vacuum, it has sensors to avoid things like slippers, socks or random items lying on the ground. It does this reasonably well but I did have a floor standing fan that the vacuum cleaner didn't recognise as an obstacle to avoid, so it climbs on to the fan base and it ends up getting stuck and gave an error. To elaborate, the fan base was shaped like a ramp so the robot vacuum thinks it can proceed onto the base instead of avoiding it. I've worked out the solution was to either remove the fan from the floor to be cleaned or I could create a virtual wall with the Ecovac cleaning app so the robot vacuum will avoid the fan. Noise level is lower than expected. It is definitely much quieter than my non-robot vacuum cleaners.Overall, it does everything the marketing material says it can do and I think it does map, clean and avoid obstacles rather well. Battery life could be better as a single charge is insufficient to clean the whole house for me. Ecovac T8 and T9 , which are the premium models come with the bigger battery capacity but they have a much higher price point. I was happy to settle for the smaller battery because the robot will return to recharge and then continue to clean from where it left off.anonymous

I purchased the N8 Pro after considering all the other models. I have to say that so far I am very impressed with how well it vacuums my hardwood floors and carpets. It has no trouble changing from hardwood to carpet and does a very decent job, a lot better than I expected. The mapping went well however it did take a while as it had to recharge before it finished off the mapping. The 3D Auto detection does a good job of avoiding obstacles along with my dogs that like to stand in its way. I also purchased the auto empty bin and I am so glad I did. I find that it makes it so fuss free and saves having to empty it each time. I now vacuum my hardwood floors in our living areas and the main bedroom every day and the entire house once a week and the floors look spotless. I tried the mopping function once and it was terrible, luckily the vacuuming makes up for its poor mopping ability. This model doesn't have the oscillating mop attachment so maybe it would work a lot better if it did. All in all it was well worth the purchase.Gail55

I have been using the Deboot Ozmo 920 since mid August. Admittedly, I was very skeptical when my husband brought the Deboot home as I have never used a robotic vacuum before. However, after using it for a few weeks, I have to admit that this little robotic vacuum is a definite time saver and I was surprised at how well it can clean my floors. I also appreciate the mopping features and it does a good job with no streaks on my hardwood floors. The features and price of the Deboot Ozmo 920 are top notch and work just as well if not better than other leading brands. The laser mapping and software work very well, and having the ability to setup virtual "no go" zones is a definite asset and allows you to dynamically set up zones while mapping which prevent it from getting tangled in cables behind furniture. The multi-floor feature also works well, and the robot has always been able to successfully identify which floor it is on and automatically chooses the appropriate map. Now that the additional charging station is available for purchase, I will likely buy this to avoid having to move the charger between floors. Overall, I have been very pleased with the Ozmo 920 and after showing friends and family, they have also expressed an interest in owning one.CatherineB

I first purchased the Ozmo 930 back in June, 2019. At first, I absolutely loved it. It did a wonderful jobbing mapping the layout of my house and cleaned the entire place in just about an hour with no issues. But about 6 weeks into owning it, it started having some issues. It would seem to get lost, just spinning around over the same spot without actually being physically stuck on anything. The mapping function no longer seemed to work, as it would say the cleaning was complete while leaving two entire rooms completely untouched. I originally purchased the vacuum on Overstock, and was required to go through Ecovacs to return it. At first, they were really difficult to work with, but in the end, they did accept the return and send me a new one. I received the new one in August and waited to review it to see how it did. Well, just like before, about 6 weeks into using it, I'm experiencing the same issues once more. Only now it's even worse. The battery will die before finishing the clean, which it never had that issue before. It only takes an hour to clean the place; the battery should last longer than that. Again, it gets stuck on nothing at all, appears to get lost and skips entire rooms. Just like before, I've done the troubleshooting. The sensors are clean. The vacuum is properly maintained. It just seems like the computer system in it stops working over time. This shouldn't happen for the price of this. I'm now going to request a return for a full refund, as I have no interest in trying a third vacuum from this company. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! UPDATE: In response to this review, Ecovacs offered an exchange to the upgraded Ozmo 920. I gave it a try and have found this one to have the same issues, only far worse. It moves around as if it really can't see where it is going. It claims to have finished the clean and returns to the charging dock after having completed half a room. My house has a very wide open layout, free from clutter and obstacles. There is no reason at all that it should be experiencing such difficulty. I sent a video to the company showing them what was happening and telling them that I am finished with their products and just want my money back. They responded telling me they would swap out my original vacuum so that I could return it for a refund from the place of purchase, and that I just needed to confirm my address. I did so and asked for the return shipping label so that I could send this one back to them and get the exchange going. They have never responded back. That was 9 days ago and I've emailed them twice since. This has been a huge waste of time/energy/money and I just want to be finished dealing with this company altogether.NicoleMCgm

Can’t seem to find the charging port after taking on and off line restarting to factory settings it still says bring my to charging port laser frequently says LDS malfunction
No idea why nothing is blocking speaking that laser guidance it protrudes off the to of the robot over a inch just enough to get caught under a table and it keeps getting stuck under the same location so you have to get up and remove from under the table robot will say check the driving wheels and the dust bin
Is small and not pet friendly I have two golden retriever pups. And hair gets stuck frequently
