Having dry skin can be uncomfortable and frustrating. The key to managing dry skin is finding the right products that provide long-lasting hydration without irritation. When searching for the best ordinary products for dry skin, there are a few important factors to keep in mind.
First, look for products containing ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and oils that help attract and seal in moisture. Avoid products with fragrance, acids, or harsh detergents that can further dry out and irritate the skin.
Second, opt for rich, creamy moisturizers and cleansers rather than lotions or foaming cleansers, which tend to be drying. Look for products labeled as moisturizing, nourishing, or for dry/sensitive skin types.
Third, focus on gentle, daily exfoliation to remove dead, flaky skin cells. This helps moisturizers penetrate better. Choose soft, rounded scrub particles or chemical exfoliants like lactic acid over abrasive, jagged scrubs.
With the right, hydrating products free of irritants, dry skin can transform from parched to comfortably smooth and supple. Do you struggle with tight, flaky, itchy skin? Have you found your skin’s hydration holy grail? Let us know in the comments!

Reviews:
I wanted to try this product after seeing so many good reviews for it. I was previously using products by Strivectin and Estee Lauder, but I love experimenting with new products and this seemed too good not to try for the low price if it could save me money while getting the same results. I don't think that higher prices for skincare always leads to better results by any means. However, I was a bit disappointed that it didn't live up to he hype for me. I have pretty good skin, but I felt like I could visibly tell that I was not using as good of a product anymore. Certain minor "flaws" that I hadn't noticed while using the other products suddenly seemed more noticeable to me. I used the whole bottle to give it a fair chance, but I don't plan on buying this again. It's definitely worth a shot for others though because of the price alone – everyone's skin reacts to things differently. I'm trying a couple other products from The Ordinary now to see if I like them any better.hayley.h
I'd like to think that this product had worked great on my skin. I have super dry skin, acne prone, and so have wrinkles. The way I apply this product is… I wash my face first with the cerave hydrating cleanser. I then use the heritage store rose water toner on damp skin. After, quickly apply Buffet by the ordinary while my skin is damp to my forehead, around my eyes, and my mouth. and then apply a thick layer of moisture boost by Tony Molly, and I either finish it off with the cetaphil moisturizer for dry skin if it's night time or the Pacifica spf everyday moisturizer if it's daytime. These products work for me. I feel constantly keeping my face super hydrated has helped and I've noticed a huge difference with wrinkles, no lie but I'm very consistent and I'm sure to not rub my eye and wear sunglasses a lot. To me this product has worked and I remember in the beginning my skin was so dry and it'd burn to apply but now I've found a skincare routine that's helped so much.…
This works okay for a while, but I don't really notice permanent effects sadly. I do use it often cause it will temporarily plump up my face well and smooth the appearance of my smile lines, but then after a few days they look kinda deep again. I love the way this feels on my face though, it makes it almost a little sticky and dewy looking and does overall tighten my face when I use it, but again, it doesn't seem to actually last. I still do enjoy this product though. Compared to other products I've used for anti aging, this one isn't too bad and has pretty much immediate results, at least for me! It is very cheap, so I would recommend at least trying it out. The ordinary is a great brand and I love their skin care, but this one is just good, not great.

I’ve been using this for 4 weeks as a first time user this was my intro to the brand. This is a good starting point and will allow me to navigate the rest of their range with some insight. First of all the tubes are small but they do last a month. I have combi skin. My skin seems brighter and clearer, dark under eye circles seem improved (to me). Skin feels clean and good after each use no irritation, no scent. I have had many compliments. You notice the difference quickly. I’ve used the face wash once a day at night, I wash with just water in the morning. I used the serum and face cream both morning and night. I noticed some dry patches on my cheeks and flaky skin on my nose so I’ve switched to serum at night only to see if it helps and it’s does. It’s not perfect for me but I like my experience on the whole so I’m going to explore more in range.0161 Resident
Hello everyone! So my fiancé and I decided to try this set since we both are getting older and have to take better care of our skin. My sister recommended the ordinary. This had 3 products and 2/3 worked well for us. The only product that was super disappointing was the cleanser…. It did NOTHING for me. I had tried the Cetaphil cleanser before and you just get more product and better quality from them. Besides that the other products worked perfectly. I will probably buy the other products in a larger amount. This is good if you want to test out the brand and see what you like and if you want to continue to continue using it. But overall it was mediocre but inexpensive so it was okayaide.s
Great set – all 3 pair well together! I love the cleanser – it's my go-to first cleanse at night. I recently got into the HA serum. When in rotation (I don't use everyday), I use it at night and wake up looking super plump! It can pill, or roll, on the skin, so I don't use it in the day (as I don't want stuff peeling off my face! or it to negatively impact my suncreen application). Love the moisturizer. I have oily, reactive skin (I'm that friend who gives you all their products that caused a reaction after one try, but work wonders for you) and this never causes redness, breakouts or anything negative. Some might need something a bit more moisturizing for the dryer months, but given the price point of this set you can't go wrong.Jae

I have been wanting to try this product for the LONGEST! I FINALLY got it, and I am SO satisfied with the results! I kid you not, I saw results within a few DAYS of using it! Didn't even take a week! I suffer from undereye puffiness and eye contour (I think it's similar to deep set undeye, but it's like a line in the front part of your eye idk what it's called but it's really annoying!) I hated it bc I felt like it made me look super tired and it was just not cute. I've been using it for about 2-3 weeks now and they're practically gone! My puffiness is gone AND so is the eye contour! Like, I barely even see the line anymore! When you first apply, it has a cooling feeling and once it dries down you kinda feel your undereye tighten up (not in a bad way, it just feels wide awake and alert ). It's like your eye wakes up…guess that's where the caffeine kicks in (get it? Lol) . Anyhoo, I would definitely recommend this product for those of you who suffer from puffy undereyes and eye contour. I don't have dark under eye so idk if it works for that. It layers well underneath eye cream and concealer as well. AND it's less than $10! Girl, just go get it!danielle .k
I love this product!!! I love the packaging. It comes in a white box with black writing. The actual product comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper and there is no smell. One thing I love about The Ordinary, is the price. It is very easy on the pockets while delivering a great product. I like to apply all over my face and under-eye as apart of my nighttime routine. You can apply it directly onto the skin. However, I like to mix it with my hyaluronic acid serum from The Ordinary. It gives my skin the extra boost and when I wake up I don’t have any puffiness around my eyes or face.samone.c

This stuff is truly exactly what it says on the tin; it has made the dark spots caused by birth control to abate more than any “dark spot” stuff I’ve ever tried. Really, really makes my skin glow! I will definitely be buying again. BUT. The formula is weird, greasy, and is smells atrocious. Since it’s so odd and runny, you really have to move your head to make sure it never approaches your mouth. It tastes even worse than it smells. I also don’t use it under makeup because it is so greasy. So yes, I’ll buy again, but the formula tries hard to make you consider not doing that.Xanadudu
44 year old male, normal skin, new to skincare. I deal with mild signs of aging. I bought a bunch of ordinary products over the past few months and have been slowly working out a routine that is best for me. One thing I know for sure is that this needs to be at the centre of the routine! It is amazing. Of all the skincare products I have used, this is the best. My face looks and feels younger. It glows. I used to joke to my wife that my skin was better than hers despite me only using Irish Spring. Now my skin is even better. I have thought about dabbling in something a bit more luxury but I am worried I would be paying for hype. This works great.madtonic
I tried this vitamin c over a year ago and loved it. I moved on to try and find other products which may be better but boy was I disappointed. The lightweight texture of this quickly absorbing oil based formula is simply amazing, gives the skin a wonderful glow and protects from drying especially in the winter, but is NOT oily in the slightest and does not clog pores etc. Among the best of the best, only improvement would be if it had vitamin E but I know that might upset the balance the product has now. I’ll just suffice to adding vitamin E on top and be grateful for this product.Michal
5. The Ordinary Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% 1 Oz/ 30 Ml
Product Details:
This formula combines a comprehensive array of studied technologies to target multiple signs of aging at once. the technologies behind the ordinary "buffet" + copper peptides 1% are matrixyl 3000 peptide complex (with palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7), matrixyl synthe'6 peptide complex (with palmitoyl tripeptide-38), syn -ake peptide complex (with dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate), relistase peptide complex (with acetylarginyltryptophyl diphenylglycine), argirelox peptide complex (with acetyl hexapeptide-8, pentapeptide-18), probiotic complex (with lactococcus lactis lysate), in a base of 11 skin-friendly amino acids and multiple hyaluronic acid complexes. the ordinary "buffet" + copper peptides 1% formula differs from the original buffet, as this formula includes a 1% concentration of ghk-cu (copper tripeptides) which focuses on skin health (based on the natural role of these peptides in the human body) and has a very high long-term value to the skin. the inclusion of copper tripeptide gives a natural light blue colour to the formula. the total concentration of these technologies in the formula by weight is 26. 1%. (references are made to third-party trademarks in this description. syn is a trademark of dsm, matrixyl synthe'6 and matrixyl 3000 are trademarks of sederma inc., and argirelox is a trademark of lipotec s. a.u. neither the ordinary nor deciem is affiliated with these trademarks or their owners.) this formula is alcohol-free, nut-free, gluten-free and vegan.

Reviews:
Another winning product that i love from The Ordinary. This is a gorgeous blue serum and I dont know it sparks joy for me when its time to do my skincare routine. I dont know about you but I have a handful of those special products that make me excited to put on and this is definitely one. As for the price of this, it is a bit higher than most of the brands products but it is very fair for the amount and quality. Copper peptides in skincare products are always on the higher side but again I think this is more than fair. Copper peptides serve as an antioxidant, promote collagen and elastin production making this great for anyone who wants to prevent signs of aging or to just use in your anti-aging skin regimen. Copper peptides have shown that they can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and my skin loves this and I always feel plump and supple afterwards. I have been using this daily sometimes twice a day along with The Ordinary's Argireline and Matrixyl (i love my peptides). After 3 months of using these 3 serums daily I started to see a notice in my forehead wrinkles, I unfortunately didn't take any pictures to show anyone because I didn't think I'd be writing a review but I really wish I had and I promise ill get better with this for my future reviews. All in all this will continue to be a staple in my routine and i definitely recommend it/them. In fact I already have bought my replacements for "just in case," I don't know if anyone else is like that but I get really bad anxiety when I'm close to running out of any skincare I like!erika .l
I've never posted a skin care review before, but I was so stunned by this that I'm doing it now in the hopes that they never, ever discontinue this product. My results with other serums, creams, and lotions have ranged from "I think I look a little better" to completely destroying my skin (prescription retinoid, which gave me huge visible pores and ruined my texture.) Prior to this I had seen some good result brightening with the Vitamin C product, but I wanted to see more because I was really unhappy with my texture and discoloration issues (age spots, sun damage, etc.) Well, after only a few weeks, my skin was completely transformed- I mean, GLOWING. I thought it was the combination, but I ended up discontinuing the Vitamin C and nope- it just kept getting better. It's this!!! I can't compare it to the normal Buffet, but I can say with certainty that this formula has taken my skin from rough, dehydrated, damaged-looking, and rapidly aging to smooth, glowing, and much younger looking. I don't even wear makeup most days anymore; the only other products I use are CeraVe night and eye creams, and LaRoche Posay w/SPF daytime lotion. I'm sold for life. I love The Ordinary, and it's so affordable. THANK YOU!!!!SarahG
I wanted to love this product, but it caused breakout issues. I had been using niacinamide and vitamin C and it was working great. I did not love the feeling of the Vitamin C product so I thought I would try the Buffet and Buffet + Copper Peptide. I quit the vitamin C product 2 weeks prior to using the Buffet to avoid irritation. A week after using these products I had noticeable breakouts. I used to struggle with acne for years before having it majorly improved. I thought maybe this is a purge stage so I kept going, but it kept getting worse. Days after stopping this routine my acne cleared up significantly. I had tried just the Buffet +copper peptides but I found that was the product that caused me to break out (the regular Buffet did not). I did not go back to my old routine as I ran out of these products, but my simply cleanse and moisturizer routine have helped. I will probably add back in the niacinamide and vitamin C. I used this for about 3 months to really try to give it a full chance but I am just sad it did not work. My skin is typically oily, but can become dry if I mess up my routine. I tend to have really nice dewy skin (I just wanted to aid in preventing signs of aging), but this product caused texture irregularities.Sarah

Reviews:
I've been using this moisturizer for almost 2 years now, and besides the price point, I genuinely love how it leaves a deep dewy glow on my face other moisturizers I've tried just can't quite replicate, unless they're 4-5 times the price, and even then I find myself still reaching for this one. Over time I've seen a real difference in the dryness and lines on my forehead and crows feet around my eyes. This is from the serums I'm using too of course, not just the moisturizer, as I've been working hard at putting together a really effective skincare routine and reading lots of ingredient reviews, but I can tell this moisturizer plays a big part in the overall results I'm seeing. The other great thing here, besides it leaving my skin dewy (without being too shiny), is it seems to penetrate the deeper layers of skin as I've noticed towards the end of the day when I'm on my way home from work, my skin still feels pretty soft. I will say, the one drawback to this moisturizer is it takes about 15-20 seconds to get it to melt and blend into my skin, so you've got to be aware of this, and work it a bit as it's white cast galore at first, even on my fair skin. It doesn't instantly melt like many lotions, it does disappear with no white cast after the 15-20 seconds and getting warmer from the natural warmth of your skin. So don't give up lol – it's worth it! Recently I've discovered a fantastic hack for the longer blending time though! I decided to try out the Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% (by the Ordinary as well) as my last step before applying the moisturizer. It's an antioxidant serum with a bit of an oily finish, but not too oily. And oh wow! It makes the consistency just a tiny bit more slick to where it instantly blends, almost no initial white cast, and the finished results look even more glowy and supple. It's hard to describe other than fantastic! I sometimes find myself touching my face because I can't believe how soft it is. Yes that's mine! Also, a little goes a long way here. My most recent bottle of this stuff, the larger 3.3 oz/100mL size, lasted over a year and a half of use at frequency of ~4 days/week. You really only need just barely a pea-size amount to create ample moisture and to seal everything in my experience. It also doesn't have an unpleasant smell like some "unscented" products, it's a truly neutral scent which I appreciate as it's the last layer, besides sunscreen, and I find myself unable to use products with any strong smell on my face. Anyway, hope this helps! Highly, highly recommend this moisturizer and the hack for it too.Britt
I bought this product in January and now we're in July and it's still not finished! I use it 2x daily and a little goes a veryyy long way. First, I apply the Ordinary serums (HA 2% + B5, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc, and Caffeine 5%) and then the moisturizer. Together, they've done wonders to my skin. I have been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and it was SO difficult to find a clean, non-toxic and affordable moisturizer. I tried so many different brands and wasted so much money looking for just-the-perfect moisturizer and I can honestly say this is it. Knock on wood, this product works like a charm on my skin. It keeps my skin hydrated and smooth and gives it a healthy glow. It also reduces the redness from the dermatitis so it keeps my skin calm and not irritated at all. I use it on my face, neck and hands. Don't apply too much of it though. I wait a few minutes and then add an SPF cream afterwards. My only wish is that the Ordinary adds SPF to this product because it is the ONLY missing thing – other than that, it really is wonderful. Will buy it again and again and again.srhsrhsrh
I have to say every time I use this my skin is screwed up for a week afterwards. I bought an entire regimen from theordinary and it just doesn't work. I'm not going to leave a review for every piece but none of them work at all. None of them are useful and all of them dry out my skin, give me a horrible texture, oiliness and mad blackheads. Almost all of them irritate my skin in some way, and I do not get that issue with any skin product I've tried in my life, no matter how cheap. I'm only going to bother reviewing this one because it's the worst one, but I honestly would recommend staying far far away from this entire line. I don't really have the same issues that others have, I have no problem warming it up in my hands, it applies evenly and the absorption is fine. I don't find it gives any type of white film. The issue is it just actively makes your skin worse. Face does not feel moisturised after usage, and then in a few hours you have oilier skin than you did as a teen. It does say it's oil free but you would never guess it from the feel of it. It kind of feels like a lube instead of a moisturiser. I'm a guy who just buys whatever is on offer so I've used many and I've never seen anything like this. Maybe I'm ignorant and this is what more expensive moisturisers are like? I genuinely feel like I must be doing something wrong, but frankly I've never needed instructions for a moisturiser and have always had better results, and if it's possible to apply a moisturiser incorrectly that's just another reason to give it 1 star tbqh. Maybe I have some sort of bad batch, as I honestly can't believe something so highly rated could be so bad.Jack

I've been plagued by sensitive/reactive/difficult skin for most of my adult life and received diagnoses that range from acne through peri-oral dermatitis to, most recently, rosacea. Even dermtologists don't seem to be sure what the problem is. Al I can definitely say is that azealic acid is great at calming things down. It's not miraculous: it has taken more than six months' of usage for me to see a marked improvement but, in my opinion, it works to reduce inflammation, smooth texture and even pigmentation. I apply it (generously) only at night because it is just one layer too many during the daytime, under sun protection cream and foundation. It may have a quicker effect for those who use for an entire 24 hours. For reference, I can't tolerate any form I've so far tried of retinolid but the azealic acid has never irritated my skin.. I use it in combination with niacinimide on spot-prone areas. A month agao I stopped taking the long term antibiotic I was prescribed for its anti-inflammatory rather than anti-microbial effect because it never worked very consistently or well on its own, and because I was worried about the side effects. The positive results from the azaelic acid have given me the confidence to bin the pills and – so far – my face is doing fine.Jeremiad
Did this help to lighten a new dark patch I've noticed on my upper cheek, or existing acne marks? Unfortunately it didn't. And that's unusual because I usually respond very well to Arbutin, even at 1% or less, yet for some reason not with The Ordinary's 2% formula. I did notice the tiniest bit of smoothness in my skin texture (the Lactic acid maybe) and my skin did feel lightly hydrated using just a few drops of this (possibly the Sodium Hyaluronate content) twice a day. But then I started to notice mild acne and clogged pores appearing on my chin and forehead after a weeks' use, and had to stop applying it to my face. I was hopeful that taking it down to just one application per day might lessen the issue but it didn't. Not one to waste something, I've been applying a couple of drops every night before sleep on my slightly dark, patchy underarms, after washing-off the days' anti-perspirant. I've been doing this for the last 3 and a half weeks but not seen any difference so far. To be fair I've yet to come across a product that does lighten them, even with multiple brightening ingredients in, not just Arbutin, so I can't say I'm exactly surprised. As a preface, I'm trying to cut out actives from my routine that are for proactive prevention, and am substituting those for actives that address problems I currently have with my skin as my skin is sensitive. I bought this and used it every day for a week when I started breaking out on my forehead, chin, and cheeks. Most of my acne is on my cheeks, but breaking out on my forehead and chin was new so I knew it was because of this product. I really want to love this since I know azelaic acid is good for both active acne and acne scars. I followed the instructions on the box and applied this after serums and before moisturizers. The only other active I use at the moment is niacinamide (and propolis, not sure if that counts as an active ingredient), see my routine below for more details. Any tips or suggestions from fellow acne-prone/sensitive skin people would be greatly appreciated! My routine ATM- Gel-based face wash Hydrating toner Serum with propolis and niacinamide (Would put this suspension here when I used it) Moisturizer. On occasion I also do sheet masks, the only actives would be ceramides or hyaluronic acid.Sunny
8. The Original Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 – 30 Ml Dropper
Product Details:
Treat thirsty skin to deep hydration with the ordinary hyaluronic acid 2% + b5 hydration support formula. dry skin is replenished with three types of hyaluronic acid designed to reach the skin at varying depths, synergised with moisturising vitamin b5 to leave skin soft and supple, and moisturised from within. this product is gentle and effective, crafted without key irritants to create an ultra-pure hyaluronic acid formula. an ever-popular beauty and skincare brand, the ordinary prides themselves on simple and honest products that deliver clinical technology. the focus of this product is hyaluronic acid, an element found naturally in the skin that attracts water. although it is a popular ingredient in moisturising products, the molecules can often be too large for the skin to absorb which leads to temporary hydration. this product from the ordinary combines low, medium and high molecular weights of hyaluronic acid to deliver long-lasting hydration deep within the skin. simple to use, apply a few drops of this product in the am and pm before heavier creams. this formula is cruelty-free, gluten-free, silicone-free, oil-free, alcohol-free and vegan.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this product! I have combination/oily skin and do suffer from hormonal acne around especially my chin area. I can’t really speak for the one star reviews as this is simply an amazing product for an outstanding price. It could be the way they are applying (or misapplying) the product, could be skin allergies or sensitivities etc. and to that I say it is simply trial-and-error and finding out what works and what doesn’t. For me, when I find something that works well- I stick with it! I would really recommend at least giving this product a try, for this price it is a STEAL, I wouldn’t sleep on it. A few thousand five star reviews can’t all be wrong!
I have some fine lines and wrinkles, and after using this- it plumps those areas right up! No lie. My forehead wrinkles and fine lines practically vanish, and even deeper, more stubborn ones between my eyebrows fill out some! My skin just drinks this up. It is extremely thick and concentrated- a little bit of this goes a longggg way. I wouldn’t suggest just globbing or slathering this particular serum on.
It is very hydrating/plumping and the B5 helps immensely with irritation, so it is VERY nice to use on the same evenings that I have used products containing chemical exfoliants such as glycolic acids, AHA’s or BHA’s in general. It definitely calms my skin, and layering this serum with my AHA/BHA or retinols definitely prevents my skin from drying out or acting up afterwards, as those products can tend to be irritating.
How I use it at night: I first wash, exfoliate, gently pat my skin dry, and then tone my skin. The exfoliation and toning are a crucial step, and help to “prime” my skin to best absorb the serums and moisturizers to follow. I use a glycolic acid serum first, and allow it to dry down and absorb. Then, I apply a couple drops of this serum, again letting it dry down. Next, I apply Sunday Riley’s A+ High dose retinoid serum. Finally, I apply a small amount of a thick emollient cream (Like Farmacy’s Honey Halo). This product blends well with my other serums and creams and using it as a layer between my AHA’s and moisturizer keeps my skin from experiencing any intense side effects from the AHA’s.
During the daytime, under makeup this stuff is an excellent primer and has some grip. It also makes your skin look fabulously dewy and glowing. The key is to wash your face and tone. Then apply this and your moisturizer and let it all soak into your skin for 5-10 minutes before applying makeup.Leah Sell
I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful with the products I use. I get the odd hormonal spot here and there, but the main issue I have is with dull and tired looking skin. Also now I’m in my late 20s, I’ve started seeing lines in my forehead and a change in my skin. I’ve been using this for a week now and can already see a difference. Email the ordinary with a photo of your skin and your problem areas and they send a breakdown of the best skincare routine for you! Every skincare routine should be tailored to your specific skin type, but for someone with combination sensitive skin, this has worked perfectly for me. If you have the same skin type, this may work for you. But would suggest emailing the ordinary as they’re the experts. I’ve been using the ordinary squalane cleanser. If I’m wearing makeup, I always double cleanse. Then I dab my face with a towel a few times, so my face is still damp. Next I use the ordinary Nianamide 10% + zinc. After that, I use the natural moisturising factors + Ha from the ordinary. At night I do the same thing, but put the ordinary retinol 1% in squaline after the niacinamide and before the natural moisturiser factors. I don’t use retinol in the day as it attracts UV rays. I made the mistake of cleansing in the shower then following this routine. My face went really blotchy, so have just been following my routine when I get out the shower and haven’t had any issues. Probably just me though as my skin is really sensitive. I was really nervous using so many products on my face as I’m used to just cleansing and moisturising. But for someone with sensitive skin, I’d highly recommend the ordinary products!Lilly
Ok, maybe it's not something I should'nt Do, but I use it around my eyes and around my mouth. I then use the caffeine one around my eyes and seal everything with a peptides eyes-mouth cream. I was a bit self-conscious about my hollow eyes and I was starting to develop fine lines around my lips (barely noticeable, but boy was I not ready for it at 37) and it really plumped everything up within 2 weeks of use which really surprised me. Also, the first time I used their products I would breakout like crazy even after a 6 Weeks period. Then I decided to vive it a second shot and again started to breakout. But then, stupid me realized I was also scrubbing my face really harshly with a washcloth when washing and that was obviously the cause. I don't breakout anymore and I should mention I have acne prone, very sensitive skin. At first, I also found it made my skin feel very tight and my fine lines worst, but thanks to some review, I now apply it to damp skin which is a game changer. And that less is more. A few drops is enough. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the company would provide more detailed instructions like the damp skin thing which I learned through review. But really, give it a try.Elianne

I bought this a couple weeks ago. I’ve used it about 4 times a week since then. The oil quality itself is nice, especially because I have dry skin and it gives a nice even layer of hydration without feeling super heavy. But I do agree with a lot of these other reviews about the smell. The most accurate smell I can assign it is raw chicken, which is worrying considering this is supposed to be a vegan product. I also have a hard time believing that they tested this on humans and there wasn’t at least one person who pointed out the smell? It’s also something my husband notices when kissing my face, that it smells bad (at least he’s honest haha). But yeah, definitely recommend that the ordinary changes up this recipe, because the smell will deter me from getting this product again.SydKat
I will start off by saying the product feels nice; the only reason I gave it a 2 star. I am just so upset at the smell. I was hesitant in purchasing this since many reviews said it was smelly. I thought, ‘oh it couldn’t be that bad’ and I was wrong. Not only does the smell linger on the face, but I had to use a nail scrubber to scrub under and on top of my nails to get the smell out. Even a couple of hours later and sever hand washings, I can still smell traces of it on my hands. I may sound a bit dramatic, but I heavily gagged when smelling my hands after application. The closest I can compare it to is having a raw chicken smell to it. A couple of hours later I ended up washing my face again wasting product because the smell would not go away. Lesson learned: when people say it smells, it does.Maison
I have dry (not dehydrated) skin on my nose, it's always flaking and no amount of moisturiser and Vaseline was helping so I needed an oil. After some research… okay after watching some YouTube videos I decided on Borage oil. I read the reviews and didn't think much about the fishy smell that others had mentioned, it'd be fine. When it arrived I couldn't really smell anything, maybe a slight musky or foisty scent but nothing fishy. Did a patch test, of course, and the following evening applied some to my dry nose. Now I was getting a stronger scent…. slightly off fish fingers maybe, or the time we got either pollock or haddock fish fingers instead of cod. It was fine though, it wasn't too strong and I woke up with zero flaky skin on my nose, brilliant. The following evening I applied this again and oh my goodness the fish smell is stronger. You know how sometimes a smell grows on you, well this does the opposite. It's not just slightly off fish fingers now, it's foisty fish. At this point I'm looking at the 30ml of oil I've bought and I'm having regrets but I refuse to waste product. I reapply, I feel slightly nauseous, but I wake up with zero flakes again. It doesn't help that I'm applying this to my nose, in particular around my nostrils, but that's where I get dry. The skincare gods are mocking me. I've been using this for a week now and I'm torn. It's a great oil for dryness, I've used it on my cheeks and it doesn't trigger my rosacea either. But the smell. I call it fish oil. Mixing it in with a moisturiser doesn't help either, it smells just as bad but doesn't work as good. If you have a poor sense of smell, or if you like the smell of fish (does anyone???) you won't have a problem. I can't give this a low rating, it's a really nice light oil and is great for dry skin, but I can't give it 5/5 as I shudder slightly whenever I reach for it and wash my hands thoroughly afterwards.Sarah C

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%' is my HG when it comes to acne reduction, therefore I couldn't wait to try The Ordinary's newest form of Niacinamide – one which allows you to control (or at least approximately) the percentage of it. I've read that there isn't much more efficacy after 15% (20% in another study) and also that it can start to sting once it goes over 10%. So Friday the week before last, I decided to put this powdered version of one of my favorite skincare ingredients to the test. Friday was perfect as it gave me the entire weekend to get my skin back to normal, in case it turned red or started peeling. Turns out I had nothing to worry about, because other than a slight tingle which subsided after less than a minute, my skin didn't turn red or peel at all. In fact I used it again this Friday past at a higher dose and it still didn't irritate. Here's what I did…I mixed the powder with TO's 'Hyaluronic Acid' to begin with but instantly decided no as I found it too sticky when mixing it in the palm of my hand. Rinsed it off. I've used HA before and was aware of its stickiness, but assumed the powder would alter the consistency, even if only slightly. Turns out it didn't! It's tricky to measure an exact quarter of the tiny measuring spoon that comes with the Niacinamide, but you can get a rough estimate of what a quarter is. Anyhow, once I'd decided against HA, I mixed it instead with 4 drops of 'Matrixyl 10% + HA' and this was a much better match: not too sticky and applied smoothly and evenly. Yes it does tingle but it's temporary. I did get a slight white/powdery layer on my face once it dried, but as I only used it last thing on a PM, it wasn't an issue for me. The results are visible the next day: brighter skin, slightly more refined pores and just like the serum version, a reduction in any acne. I did notice my skin was less oily upon waking as the powdery layer seemed to absorb sebum, but this was temporary, lasting only until washed off. For me, the biggest selling point is that you're in control of the concentration, and also the base that you use it in (provided it's in something between PH 5.1-7). Is this better than the 10% + Zinc serum? Yes. I never noticed any difference on pores using that one, only on acne for which it's much more convenient to dab on at anytime, being a pre-mixed formula. This one takes a little more effort but the results are much more pronounced overall. I've now upped this to 3 x weekly and love the effect it has on my complexion. It just looks so much more clearer. I didn't notice any further improvements at a higher concentration than a quarter of the spoon, which shows there was some truth to the theory about it tapering off after a certain percentage. I think the only time I'd consider increasing the amount of powder is if/when the effect starts to plateau (as happens with many a good ingredient) and even then, only in very small increments to extend the benefits for as long as possible. For now, I'm perfectly happy with it as it is. ~ My Space NK Top 7 must-have list ~ (My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Space NK) 1. ✨Overall Impression ✨ This is one of my favorite products from The Ordinary. From what I've seen, it overall seems to be not the most popular product from the brand, but I find really good use for it. I truly believe that the niacinamide powder is superior to the niacinamide serum in terms of its utility, if you can tolerate it. ✨Tips Tricks for Mixing Actives✨ Niacinamide is great because it can be mixed with several actives. The Ordinary doesn't recommend mixing niacinamide with vitamin C because of a yellowing effect. There's significant contention on this point and it may be appropriate to mix the two together and certain situations. ✨Niacinamide and Retinoids✨ I prefer mixing niacinamide with my retinoids – specifically prescription tretinoin. This is a safe combination, and I actually find that this is really helpful for the efficacy of both products. Retinoids help with cell turnover rates and nice and divide assists with the moisture barrier, which would end up helping out both actives work better. Since retinoids cause irritation, it's important to preserve the moisture barrier, and that's how niacinamide can help. In addition, retinoids increase cell turnover rates, which can assist with niacinamide penetrating deeper into the skin and doing it's job better. Overall, this is a great combination. ✨Body Skincare✨ I specifically love this powder because it is extremely economical when going forward with my body skin care routine. Since it's in economical format, I can justify using it all over my body. I mix it into a relatively inexpensive body lotion – lubriderm – and this has made significant improvements in the quality of my moisture barrier for all my skin, not just the skin on my face and neck! Overall, the benefit of this niacinamide powder over the serum option is that it's in a much more economical format, and I can justify using it all over my body by mixing it into inexpensive body lotions. Since my skin does not over sensitize to niacinamide, I don't have to worry too much about having an exact concentration, which is the overall downfall of this product. If your skin can handle it, I do recommend going for the powder over the serum because it is better bang for your buck.nicole.k
I was soo excited to try this, because the other Niacinamide + zinc peels off. I have tried to mix it, a suuuper small amount, with different stuff, even just water, but I kept getting random cystic acne pimples!! I have combo-normal skin and absolutely never did I had cystic acne and I wondered if it was this product what was causing me that. I bought this in July 2020, so I decided to give it a chance, to keep trying one a month (like using it 3 times a week) and even every 2 months. Every time I used it kept causing me cystic acne (a painful bump pimple, head will never show up and will last for 3 weeks), In random parts of my face I never had any breakouts like my cheeks. People thought I had a mosquito bit several times!! I dont know what it is, it must be something related to the powder, that doesnt dilute or so. I dont get it because I have used Niacinamide before and never had any issues. TO BE FAIR, it did made my skin smooth and my pores were smaller (so It did what Niacinamide is supposed to do, hence the two stars). But risking cystic pimples is just a MASSIVE no GO for anyone. It is been 2 months since my last cystic pimple and the post-inflamatory pigmentation is still there. I dont even dare to give it to a friend, I would feel awful if they would experience same as I did. I wonder if I can still return it, the shop in Amsterdam is close permanently and I dont even think I have the ticket. Any help Deciem costumer service?CG

I bought this set due to getting adult acne over the last year and as well as having oily skin, my skin was also getting really dry in certain spots as well. A friend recommended trying skincare with acids and minimal ingredients so this is what I ended up purchasing. Every single product in this set is exceeding my expectations, I've been using it for less than a week and already see major changes in my skin, specifically the texture and how smooth and supple it is. The cleanser is great, it leaves your skin soft and I don't get that awful tight/squeaky feeling that you get with most other cleansers that I've tried. The texture of my skin is improving with no new spots appearing so far! I'm really pleased and already will be buying another set as the value for money is so great with this. All full sizes tooShannon
When I tell you I’ve tried almost everything I mean EVERYTHING! My skin has always been tricky. Constant painful breakouts all through the obvious years as well as into my later twenties. Oily skin 3/4 of the year until the colder seasons then it’s dry as could be imagined. Very enlarged pores, even with clean skin I feel greasy halfway through the day and I do not wear any kind of makeup. I’ve tried affordable products, brands you see in all the magazines and on commercials that your favourite role models swear by, the high end ones at specialty stores, etc. I have never found anything I liked enough to repurchase let alone even finish the entirety of the product until I found this brand. I noticed an immediate difference in my skin and how it felt, looked, and how clear it started to get and stayed! My pores are looking smaller because they aren’t clogged up and are actually being cleaned deeply enough. The over all texture of my skin has improved also and appears less dull and tired. I’ve never had clear skin before and especially during the times of wearing masks 40 hours or more a week my skin feels and looks healthy and clear. This is my 3rd purchase with some variation of this set and I don’t have any plans on discontinuing the use of these products. I don’t normally write reviews, ever, but these products deserve the recognition and anyone struggling with any type of skin issues need to go ahead and do your research to find a routine by this brand that will work for you because it is heaven sent!N-A
I bought this set hoping it would cure my hormonal acne. I went off birth control after being on it for 6 years and once i stopped my acne got so bad and was so painful. These products have definitely helped my skin, is my acne gone? no. But i no longer get larger painful pimples and my face is clearing up!! I started using the ordinary balance set in April 2022 and started seeing some progress but I got even better results when I added Salicylic acid 2% to my routine. Every morning i use the Squalene cleanser, Niacinamide & Zinc and the moisturizer. Every evening I use the squalene cleanser, niacinamide & zinc, salicylic acid 2% and the moisturizer (in that order). My face feels soooo soft and clean now and its never felt this way, its usually super dry and oily. Keep in mind, like most products this doesn't work over night, it took me 3 months to see results. I went through multiple stages of purging, each stage lasted 2 or 3 weeks and it was painful but don't let this scare you away from these products. If you want good results it takes time but it doesn't mean its not working!! I would definitely recommend this set with the addition of Salicylic acid 2% if you have annoying hormonal acne or acne in general.Trinity

Holy crap. This stuff works for me when nothing else ever has. I have very sensitive skin, and a couple years ago I started breaking out a lot from stress and, well… left some scars. My forehead was bumpy and congested looking. I tried dozens of different skincare products to try and fade the scar pigmentation and clear up my forehead, but EVERYTHING would either make me break out more, or make my skin dry, or just any number of bad things. I haven't even found a moisturizer I can use daily because they all break me out. Lately I've just been using some very mild products every few days, not really making much progress but better than nothing… I still get cystic acne occasionally that leaves hyperpigmentation and just sets me back again. I got this lactic acid on recommendation for improving skin texture. I've only used it maybe a week or two, applying nightly and washing my face in the morning. My forehead bumps are… gone. I can't remember the last time I saw my skin so clear. The hyperpigmentation is noticeably faded, my skin is less congested, skin tone is evened out, and it's hydrating. And it doesn't break me out!!! I actually can't believe it. I used to get so disappointed seeing my efforts not improving anything, and would start skipping days on my routine because I knew it wouldn't help. The past few days I've actually been excited to look in the mirror and see the progress.Lr
Routine: I wash my face once a day, in the evening. Pre cleanser: Albolene, wipe before washing face Face wash: Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser Serum: THIS!! Moisturizer: Cerave moisturizing cream SPF: Babyganics 50+ I bought three different items from the ordinary, to try to find what worked for me. The glycolic acid toner left me very sensitive. Next, I tried their AHA peel (the beet colored one) and that would break me out for two days following use. I had a problem with fine lines, dry skin that wouldn't seem to leave, and therefore I couldn't seem to absorb my moisturizers– because the dead skin was blocking it. When I tried this product, I saw a difference overnight. That has never happened to me before, but now I am glad to say I have a routine that is simple, and effective. My pores appear smaller, my smile lines have been erased, and my makeup looks better than ever, since I no longer have a layer of dead skin. I don't usually leave reviews for products, but I would recommend this to ANYONE who is struggling with dry skin that is stubborn to exfoliate. HOW I USE: After washing my face at night, I let my skin air dry. I wash my hands, put a whole dropper full of this product in the palm of my hand (more is more with this I have found) and I spread it around my whole face except my under-eye area. I will leave this on for five minutes, I feel that this helps it be more effective. After that, I moisturize and go to sleep. When I wake up, I rinse and apply my spf lotion. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Every toner/chemical peel will cause sun sensitivity, so you will be going backwards if you skip this step. My skin has ever looked smoother, even textured, and the best part is that this does NOT dry my skin. It has helps me maintain my skins balance better than ever.EmmaLemma
I bought this product since Salicylic acid was out of stock a long time. I was recommended this product by an employee in The Ordinary store in London as a substitute for SA. It didn’t work as well for my deep congestion. It brightens the complexion but that’s where the benefits end. I don’t think this product is very beneficial for people with oily or combination skin. Happy to finally got Salicylic acid in stock now. I actually learned later on that BHAs – like Salicylic acid are for deep congestion and AHAs – like lactic acid are for more gentle form of exfoliation, which the employee obviously weren’t aware off. I think this product could be great chemical exfoliant for people with sensitive skin tho.Colette

Reviews:
I have been using this for 7 or 8 weeks, and I am beyond impressed by the results. I had my first child near the end of last year, and since then I have been left with stretch marks that make me a little self conscious. I know they are natural and somewhat beautiful as they are the aftermath of a wonderful situation, but I am just not used to seeing them. I began doing some research and came across the Palmers Cocoa Therapy Oil, and decided to give it a shot. I read the positive reviews and hoped for the best. Now that I have purchased and used it, I am so glad to be able to add to those positive reviews. This stuff is amazing. It feels so smooth and soft on the skin, easily rubs in, and does not leave me with a greasy feeling. I typically apply it when I wake up in the morning, and after showering at night. It has made a world of difference in my skin, as my stretch marks are fading and becoming less noticeable by day. My husband even commented on it, which was quite the confidence boost! It is packed full of wonderful ingredients, such as cocoa butter, vitamin e, sesame oil, canola oil, and rosehip oil, which do a great job moisturizing, diminishing lines and wrinkles, toning the skin, and giving it a soft and supple appearance. It is preservative free and is mineral oil free, which I am thankful for. Mineral oil has always irritated my skin, so I typically have trouble finding beauty products without this ingredient. Overall, I just cannot say enough good things about this product, and I am so happy that I gave it a shot. Plus, the price makes it well worth it, as it is a great value for the money. Even after using it for weeks, I still have a good amount of the bottle left to go, which gives my skin more opportunity to improve. I give it a 10/10 and I cannot wait to continue using it!TayM123
I have eczema and my son has dry skin. It's hard to find good products for our skin or cocoa butter sticks in the store. I use this oil on my baby after a bath and during the day once if needed. His skin calms down and does look dry. Also makes my baby a happy baby. I like the product is not too oily to the point his clothes are stained. Once you put it on and rub it in, it gives our skin a hydrated look and not an ashy look. I will be buying more from now on and keeping on one me on the go. I see a difference and feel a difference. My eczema on my hands comes up often after I had my baby and itch so bad. I am a very happy person after using this on my hands. I can sleep without getting the need to itch my hands. As well I like that it's a big bottle and not small. I like personally products in a big value.Quana
I used to to the Palmer's Acne Soap bar, but during pandemic I had trouble getting more. So I tried Neutrogena products (the water based line since I have OILY skin) my skin got WORSE. I had very big breakouts all over my face and neck. It hurt and it was terrible. I ready your skin has to purge when you switch facecare products. I kept looking to see when the acne var would be available again. So in the meantime I got SO many Palmer's products. I now use the Skin Success line: Deep Cleaning Astringent, Complexion Toner, Anti-Acne Medicated Complexion Bar, Anti Dark Spot Complexion Bar, Dark Spot Correcting Facial Cleanser, Anti Dark Spot Fade Cream for Oily skin during the day and the Anti Dark Spot Fade Cream for Night. I even use the Skin Therapy Face Oil and the Moisture Rich Night Cream. I started feeling real relief at the 4 week mark or reincorporating these products. I noticed at the 5 week mark my skin feels so supple and smooth. I'm seeing more overall skin clarity. I still have the dark spots from my acne (I think I need a good facial or two to get rid of that) but no new acne has come! My skin is really coming along again and I will never stray. I just wish Palmer's made a sunblock and eye cream. I still use a Neutragena sun block though. So it's hard to say if any one product helped me since I basically use it all! I even use the Purifying Enzym Mask once a week. The toner and astringent are great for when I go camping and find it difficult to wash my wash. So much dirt comes off! I'm a Palmers girl for life!La Negra Tomasa

Reviews:
Palmer's has a reputation for being a staple skincare brand and they absolutely deserve it! The lotion smells incredible, we all know the scent, because cocoa butter has been filed away in our memory banks. For me, the fragrance is warm and nostalgic, calling to mind winters throughout my childhood. The Cocoa Butter Formula (w/ Vitamin E) Daily Skin Therapy has a wonderful and moisturizing formula that keeps skin hydrated sincerely all day. I have been using this (along with the body oil), following my showers. I went from applying a bunch of different lotions throughout the day, to using one, ONCE! By the next time I hop into the shower, my skin still feels luxurious and soft. Palmer's also leaves me GLOWING. The thickness of the moisturizer is exactly what I want in a body cream. Palmer's is accessible and affordable while still managing to knock their formula out of the park, dermatologists agree. As a skincare fanatic, I love trying new things. I will no longer be branching out with body lotion, because this is my product now. I've been converted into a loyal customer. There is nothing better out there, especially not at Palmer's price point. If you aren't on board the Palmer's train yet, just give this lotion a try.anna.b
I just recently tried this lotion because I was complaining about ashy legs and a friend of mine swears by it. It is awesome if you don’t mind oil! It does absorb the dryer your skin is, so I find myself reapplying until I can feel a thin layer remaining to know my skin is properly moisturized. A welcome but unexpected side effect is that it’s also lightened some of the scarring I have on my hands and wrists from working with dry ice in the past! I don’t have before photos, but it is noticeably lightening them. It does have the texture of a cleansing balm or solid oil, so it’s something to note if you have a Thing with oily lotions, but the benefits definitely out weigh the texture in the winter for my partner with chronically dehydrated skin, as he is adverse to how lotion feels. I also wouldn’t recommend this specific on for the face as cocoa butter can clog pores + experienced clogging with this when I used too much of this one. Overall, great product, especially for dry winter skin!kelly.h
The original formula was wonderful. I still have an old jar with a small remnant and it did not need the extra additives. The ingredients listed on the current jar up to carotene are the same as the old formula. The ones that were added in several years ago are the benzyl cinnamate, benzyl benzoate, isopropyl myristate, sunflower oil and corn oil. Benzyl cinnamate and benzyl benzoate rate high as skin irritants and for immunotoxicity. The addition of corn oil and sunflower oil seems unnecessary in terms of adding anything positive to the formula. But my main concern are the additives that cause allergic reactions. Please go back to the old simpler formula, it was perfect for 40 years.K.P.

I've had ultra-sensitive, breakout-prone skin all my life and since using this I have clear skin for the first time. You feel – nothing – when you apply it. It's hard to explain but most products make me feel sticky or a bit skin-crawly if not outright uncomfortable, and this just feels like skin. Even my previous fave 'skin calming' product (£45) now feels unpleasant in comparison. In addition when your skin produces its own oil during the day (combination skin here) you don't get that awful oil+moisturiser feeling that makes you feel as though you have an oil slick on your face and need to rush to a mirror. If I do get a bit of shine I just wipe it off because I'm not wearing makeup any more – did I mention clear skin? I'm sometimes concerned that it doesn't have a load of active ingredients, but I've tried so many things over the years including from here (eg Buffet, natural moisturisers, glycolic acid toner, marula oil) and all have irritated my skin or made me break out and frankly I'll take comfortable clear skin any day. I do wish we could get a larger size though. It does take a little experimenting: Don't use more than you need – 3 to 4 drops is plenty, but if it doesn't soak in tissue off excess. Serums underneath reduce the amount your skin absorbs. I like Niacinimide underneath, but if you don't want that making the squalane pill, you have to either wait 20-30 mins for it to absorb (tedious) or much better, dilute the niacinimide with a few drops of something (I use marine hyalauronics but water would probably be fine) which makes it spread and absorb more quickly so you can apply squalane immediately. Serum texture is important, some just don't work at all under oil, eg the Hyalauronic acid + B something which pills something rotten.Satisfied customer

I have to update my beauty profile but essentially I have extremely dehydrated skin. So parched that product tends to just sit on top of my skin and do nothing. I use other products with squalane so I figured it couldn’t hurt to try this out. My. Skin. Is. So. HAPPY!! I use this in conjunction with the Sephora Pineapple sheet mask serum (I squeeze the leftovers into a dropper bottle) and HOLY. COW. My skin loves it. I know the bottle says nighttime application but I do not care. I use it at night AND in the AM after a water cleanse. I have noticed that it definitely works best on warm, damp, straight out of the shower skin, but not so much so that it is a one-trick pony. It’s the 5th of my 6 step skincare routine I usually top it with Belief Moisture Bomb moisturizer. I haven’t noticed any pilling or melting with the addition of this to my routine. Definitely works for gua sha or rollers if you use those in your routine. It sits pretty heavy on my skin, but in the best way. Like an all day experience of those first 10 minutes after a shower where you’re a hydrated, dewy and plump before everything is soaked up and dries down a bit. Also did wonders for my lips which suffer horribly all winter. I even rub it into my cuticles for a lil extra hydration. It’s definitely a forever product for me.Janelleybeans

I have purple hair. This requires maintenance and can be damaging. But I olaplex and buy high quality products. I picked this up mostly for my hands, elbows and knees as they are dry. But I have uses this now a number of times in my hair when it needs moisture after it's dry and my conditioner wasn't enough. It keeps my hair smooth and gives it the slip it needs not tangle or break. Like when I accidentally used a shampoo that did the opposite of what ir claimed and stripped the moisture from my hair and hands (from the shampooing). I have fine hair so I use just a bit of it and it goes a long way for me. i also don't use it on my face (except for my lips when chapped) as it will cause me to break out. But I knew that when I bought it, and so I use it for my very dry skin areas only. In general I love that it's a multitasking tool, at a great price. It has no bad smell at all. And the price is affordable enough that if it goes bad I can easily buy another.Layla
Let's start with the face. I use this oil in my evening routine, at the very end, twice a week, or at least I try to use it that many times, I won't deny that sometimes I forget 🙈 2-3 drops of oil are enough, I pat them on the skin of my face and then massage it into my face with a facial massager. If you don't have any massagers, your fingers will do the job just as well, use them 👋 I would also recommend using the oil maybe an hour before going to bed to absorb it. Hair. About an hour before washing my hair, I rub the ends with oil. The results pleasantly surprised me. The ends of the hair are soft, moisturized and shiny. After these experiments, I started using this oil only for hair, because whatever touches the face, the result is the same whether the oil is used or not. I would definitely recommend trying it, especially for hair, especially since the price is quite low 🙌iveta.v
I just got my Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil and it’s different from the previous ones that I used to receive from The Ordinary. It’s ticker than the previous ones but the worst part is the smell. It has an awful petroleum-like smell and not a nice feeling when you are spreading it on your skin. The smell doesn’t go away even after a while that the product is on your skin. I’ve been using the ordinary Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil for some years and this is not the same oil that I used to get. I compared the new oil with one that I still have from before and the consistency is different and the previous one has no smell. Not sure but has The Ordinary changed the formula or added something to the previous one or this product went wrong? I'm not sure if I can or want use this product on my face. Disappointed.Sohe

Every single item in this set is a gem. The moisturizer would definitely make to top 3 of my favorite moisturizers of all times. It would pay 5 times the price for it,it works amazing on my oily sensitive skin. It's a light comfortable and soothing. Great for summer months. Retinol is top notch, I noticed results from the first week and the same happened with Buffet serum. Amazing and totally recommendable.linakav
I've tried so many skincare products with big claims but none of them have delivered such great results in just a week. This trio of products has completely transformed the texture of my skin, leaving it feeling smooth and soft. It has also hugely shrunk my pores, which I've had issues with for years, while also stopping breakouts completely. I have previously stayed clear of serums as they can be too heavy for my combination skin but Buffet is amazing. It's nice and light, absorbs well and isn't sticky. A little goes a long way too. The Retinoid has a slight sticky feeling, but as it's only used at night, it doesn't really matter. This takes a little longer to see results from but I'm excited to see how I get on with it after a few months. At first I thought the Natural Moisturizing Factors was going to be too heavy for my skin but it's actually not at all. You only need a really small amount and it absorbs nicely, leaving your skin looking matt and providing a great base for makeup. This is definitely going to be a repeat purchase for me.JTip
This kit is so good if you're starting off with retinol! Their retinol is great for a beginner – slow, but steady. No irritation, and using the buffer also helps prevent that. The moisturiser is amazing at just adding enough moisture to your skin. Took me a while to get used to the texture then I absolutely loved it. Great set to gift to someone too!Kay910

I am using this serum for a week now and it has helped so much with my post acne marks. I use it every morning followed by Spf 50 and I feel my skin is glowing every morning after using it 🙂 At night I am using Cerave SA cleanser followed by retinol. Since I have started this morning & night routine, I haven’t got any new acne on my face.
