I started losing my hair 2.5 years ago when my ex and I split. 28 years together, so the stress and heartache were unbearable. I lost two-thirds of my hair! With my profession, I have to wear my hair up to work. My ponies, buns, and braids were embarrassing because you could see my scalp because my hair was so thin. I actually used to fill it in with eyeshadow and a blush brush to try to hide it. I also bought those products that you spray colored fibers in your hair, but what a mess. Especially in the 112 degree Texas heat, or rain, when it started to run. Ohhhh the embarrassment. Then I found Maui Moisture Bamboo Fiber Shampoo, after a recommendation from a YouTuber. I initially purchased it from Amazon, but then found it at Sally’s Beauty Supply for slightly less. I like knowing if I run out, I can just run down to Sally’s without waiting for Amazon shipping. This product has increased the appearance of the thickness of my hair!! I can’t say whether it has actually made it thicker, but it LOOKS thicker, which is better than thin, limp hair. The volume is amazing and the fragrance is divine. No seriously, it.is.divine. You just can’t beat it for around $8 a bottle too! I switch out shampoos because my hair gets bored with the same products, but this is always my go-to shampoo!!!amy.t

Please I beg you don't ever change or tamper with this product line, it's absolutely perfect. I have very fine hair and not very much of it either. I've tried everything over the moon and deduced my poor hair quality to a bad luck of the draw – that is ultra-fine hair. For the most part of my life I haven't been able to grow my hair past my shoulder without it looking stringy, and split ends are common place. I changed my diet, ate more greens, I used every product on the market to lightly moisturize and/or deep moisturize, not being able to figure what was wrong with my hair. I've been working in the hair industry for about a decade and have tried many many shampoos, my favorite shampoo is about $100 for 33 floz of shampoo and conditioner and it is very moisturizing but it has keratin and protein so when I need a shampoo strictly for moisture when I have protein overload, I discovered this! I went through every brand at the store to find a sulfate free shampoo that was hydrating, low in chemicals, fragrances and silicones and something that actually cleans the scalp. It's winter so my hair can become very dry as I have more textured hair, It is a great shampoo to remove oils, buildup, product and pollution. It is also very light because the first ingredient is aloe. and it has a surfactant but so it does soap up a little bit but it is not sulfate so it will not dry out your scalp. At its price tag, I really am so glad we found this because a little goes a long way. I do recommend finding another shampoo for some protein and keratin, but this is a good cleansing shampoo. I have tried other things from this line and did not like them as much as this but give it a shot!Laila

I have a fine, thin and arm-length hair that lack volume snd that require daily washing (thanks to the genes in my family). I have used many, maany professional hair products to find which one would work best for me, many of them being professional brands and higher on the price range. Had my hopes high with this one, but unfortunately they were not met. The good things are the bigger amount (300ml vs standard 250ml) and not too strong scent. These are the pluses for the conditioner and shampoo. Unfortunately the conditioner is too heavy in my opinion and despite washing it off properly it still weighs down my hair plus I really have to wash it the next day (which with other brands sometimes doesn’t happen). I also noticed that my hair became more frizzy and just not looking good.. I will try to finish the bottle (half way through!) but won’t repurchase.Alicja

I do not have fine or thin hair, but it isn't course or thick – I just have a lot of it. Because of that I struggle with volume at the roots and most shampoos and conditions either clean my hair and leave me with a dry scalp and flat hair, or it is weighted down and gets oily quick. The title of the order is VERY misleading. In the size it states that it is 12 x 0.4oz, which really sounds like it will be 12 packs of 0.4oz, but it's not. I'm not sure what the "12" is actually supposed to mean, unless it is related to the fact that 0.4oz is 12ml, but that's not what it states. I'm sure the product itself is great, it's just that the sellers label and photos are VERY misleading and can be regarded as unethical.Tracey

I've been using the WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Coconut Avocado Conditioner for the past 2 weeks and absolutely love them! I've used apple cider vinegar on my hair so I was intrigued when I saw this shampoo. This shampoo works gently to clear build-up and dandruff on the scalp and nourish hair. It works into a nice lather a little goes a long way. It's left my hair clean, shiny and soft. The WOW Coconut Oil Conditioner is ideal for dry or stressed hair. When I opened the conditioner I exclaimed "WOW this smells fantastic!" It makes me feel like I'm on an island sitting under a palm tree and relaxing. It smells that darn good! It's a very thick conditioner but rinses out easily. Between the two of them my frizz issue's aren't there so I'm a happy camper!Lisa J.

I used the WOW products hoping to improve my dandruff issues and detoxify my scalp. The ACV shampoo lathered well, washed out easily, and left a noticeable apple cider vinegar scent. It made my scalp oily and itchy after a day or two. My scalp is not usually oily. My scalp flaked more than usual. I was using it exclusively, but then I began alternating its use with my usual shampoo, which does not make my scalp oily, because I was concerned that the WOW products were too harsh. The conditioner is very thick. I use it on the ends of my hair, not on the scalp. It has a noticeable coconut scent. The labels state there are no sulfates, but the usual sodium lauroyl sulfate is replaced with Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. I do not know if this is comparatively healthy. It has other chemicals, including sodium benzoate. I did not notice more shine to my hair. These WOW products may not be the best ones for me and my hair concerns. Just got my Black Friday order 3 days ago (amazing deal, by the way) and have washed and styled my hair twice with the Curly system and I absolutely love it! I used to have nearly perfectly straight hair through my teens and early 20's then noticed the texture started to change into my 30's and beyond (I'm 41 now). I was super bummed because I always used to get compliments on my hair growing up, but as it changed it just seemed to be frizzy and crazy unless I used a straightener. I decided to start using various drugstore styling products for wavy/curly hair and had decent results, but it seemed like every time I thought I had a good combo of products, one or two of the items would stop being made or stocked and I'd be back to square one. For the last couple of years I've been starting with spraying a fair amount of sea salt spray to my damp hair to add volume followed by a curl defining spray that I would scrunch in before diffusing. I got compliments on my hair again, but it always seemed a bit dry to me, and if I ran my hands through my hair I would feel a salty residue. I felt there had to be something better for me…I have been seeing ads for LUS on Facebook for at least the past year or so, and was always intrigued, but still too apprehensive to commit to spending a bit more on my hair care, regardless of all of the amazing reviews. However, when I woke up the day after Thanksgiving and saw the awesome deal LUS was offering for such a large bundle of products I immediately placed my order. All I can say is WOW. I feel like it came out nearly perfect on the first try!! My hair is so soft, grit-free, and bouncier and shinier than with my old routine. It really does not take much product at all, at least for my fine hair. I divided my hair into 8 sections and only used either a partial pump or a full pump of the styling product on each (depending on the thickness of the section); made sure to use the great spray bottle to keep my hair damp, scrunched and arranged my hair, then used my diffuser like normal. The application of product took a bit of time, maybe 10 minutes, then the diffusing was another 5-10, but as I get more used to the routine I think it will go even faster. I have been using the 3-step system exactly as instructed for a month and my hair is limp, the curls are weighted down a good 3 inches from the scalp and frizzy. In short, my hair looks horrible. I have tried using less conditioner than instructed, more and less product, and everything in between. The all-in-one styling product is essentially a light leave in conditioner that does not hold my curl shape or provide any manageability or hold whatsoever. I have fine 2C/3A hair and after a month of using this product system it looks like I have frizzy hair with a bonus of zero lift or volume. No thank you. My hair looked fine the first two times I used it, but has gotten progressively worse with each shampoo, condition, and styling. If you have fine hair, stay away from this product. Even though the hair quiz will say it will work for your hair, it will not. I'm sure if you have thick, coarse hair that is 4A-C, this is great. If not, user beware.Stephanie P.

BEWARE – they do not have a satisfaction guarantee. If you try the product and are unhappy with the results, you are just stuck with it. I have 2C curls, and tried the 3 step system in Curly – based on my test results. My hair is extremely healthy, I have been using sulfate, paraben, silicone free products for over 5 years. I do not use heat or color treat my hair, and it is trimmed regularly. I have had a TON of success with the DivaCurl products, but wanted to try something new to see what else was out there. After two weeks of use with the LUS 3 step system I purchased, I was not getting the results that I had hoped for. My hair had this dirty/sticky feeling to it after it dried. Definitely not silky looking or feeling at all. I altered how I used the product thinking I was not using enough water, or perhaps using too much product, but no matter what I did, I had the same results. One pump of product applied in the shower with TONS of water, and my mid length hair still dried and felt dirty/sticky. My hair has much better results with NO product at all, compared to my results using the LUS set. Reached out to customer service to see if it would be possible to return product for a refund and was told that was not an option. They do not offer returns or credits on any type of open product. So, I would of never tried this in a million years, I use there normal special conditioner but when I visited my mom and grandpa, my grandpa had this. He had used my shampoo and conditioner previously and thought my conditioner was too expensive so bought this one. I absolutely love using this product on my hair! It makes my hair soft, moisturized, and tangle free. All of the tea tree products have a strong scent so if that bothers you I'd skip this one. A couple of the reviews state this products is expensive and I disagree. Not only is the bottle a good size but it lasts a while. I've been using this product for years and it is great! I especially recommend it for dry hair, curly hair and color treated hair. This review is for the rice water bars, and I never really write reviews because, honestly, most products I try aren't that great. I have long pink hair which has been bleached and colored for several years. Since my hair is so damaged and long I've tried every single insta, fb, social media product that promises to fix my hair and I have FINALLY found it!!! I was extremely skeptical about this. I was expecting this to be average at best. Imagine my surprise when I rinsed my hair and it felt like silk. I couldn't believe it. I love this conditioner. I’m mixed & have curly hair that’s finicky but this conditioner works wonders. I just wish it didn’t break apart so quickly! I have all these little broken off pieces that I then have to try & smash up into a paste in the shower which is annoying, particularly because I have health issues which make that difficult (dexterity wise & because I’m not supposed to shower longer than 5 minutes.) And I’m not keeping the bar in the shower so it’s not getting wet or anything, it just disintegrates quickly. I struggle with conditioners. I have very long hair (to my tailbone), and it’s very fine and fragile but easily weighed down. I also have very sensitive skin, and most conditioners will give me horrible body acne. I am especially sensitive to coconut oil, which seems to be in 90% of conditioners these days. This Rice Water Protein conditioner bar has been a game changer. It’s light enough to not weigh down my hair or make my back break out, but my hair feels so soft and actually conditioned. I still struggle with split ends, but that’s due to my hair being so fragile and my bad habit of wearing it down when I sleep (the friction is terrible for your hair — braid it before bed!). I have tried tons of conditioners, including conditioner bars, and this is the only one that’s been good for my hair AND kind to my sensitive skin. I read several of the reviews after I tried this and this appears to have worked for some thick hair people, but I saw other fine hair people stating that it turned their hair brittle and dry, which is the experience I had. I thought it was a different product I got on the same day that damaged my hair, so I used this a second time and my hair felt as if half of it had disappeared, it felt thin and lost all volume. The mids and ends were uncomfortably dry, split and brittle afterward. I’m trying desperately to repair the severe damage this product caused with oils and Olaplex, but it will take time. My hair is pink and it’s having a hard time holding color now. This product needs to have a warning that it’s unsuitable and dangerous for some hair types. When a product doesn't work, I wait til the last minute to review because I give it multiple chances. The only thing this product said that was true is that you would feel heat. My hair didn't get shiner or glass like, in fact it got a little frizzy. Directions are simple as is application. However for the amount you have to use makes the size of the product laughable especially if you have to repeat. You'd have to purchase the product weekly. That would be expensive. And what exactly is in this that makes your scalp heat up? While it's not going to burn you, it's an ugly reminder that it's just chemicals. Chemicals that don't do the job. They claim its biodegradable and 98% natural. i'm not a chemist. But the heat reminds me of bleach or processing and that is chemical. 11/10!! I love this product!! I have dark hair so it makes it look extra shiny after I wash it! Plus, it makes it smell super good too. I was nervous that this product was going to end up drying out my hair, but it doesn’t at all!! After I use it, I just condition as normal, and my hair feels sleek and smooth for days after I wash. I always just let my hair air dry, but I’m sure with a little product or oil and a blow dry, it would make your hair look even more shiny!! Another thing I like about this product is that a little goes a long way. My hair is down to my waste, so typically when using hair products, I need a lot to reach the desired effect. The bottle for this product has “doses” on it so you know how much to use, and really I only need to use like 1 1/2 doses per wash. Though I do only wash my hair like twice a week, I have had this bottle for about a month now, and I still have about half the bottle left. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Hello everyone. I came across this product. I mean I was constantly looking for a mild chemical free shampoo as I was facing a postpartum hair fall. I fortunately came across the Tree To Tub. Soapberry shampoo. I also read its contents, and I thought why not? I give this a try and uh it's amazing. It's not only gentle, it's also paraben sulfate uh silicon free, which is required for the water today. And also apart from the stress and tension that we go through, we require this kind of a shampoo, which is a very mild gentle on the scalp as an and we can use this on a daily basis. So this is an amazing product for all you women out there who want to get their hair shampooed on a daily basis without having to worry that you know, it can be harsh on their scalp. Uh it can cause hair green issues. This is amazing. I can't wait to try and just try their shampoo. I can't wait to try their other products, especially their conditioner. So my hair actually feels a lot more gentle and a lot more thicker fuller bouncy without even having to do blow dry my hair or straightening my head. I’m always trying out clean products, so I took a chance on this set for my hair and I’m glad I did. Keep in mind that if you are currently using regular stuff from the grocery store, your hair will have to detox for you to feel the effects of a clean natural shampoo. On my third wash my hair was clean, shiny and moisturized without leave-in products. I confidently use this on my kids too. I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, though. I'm very impressed with the ingredients in this shampoo and pleasantly surprised at how well it works. Many years ago I was on the hunt for body care items that were fragrance and dye free to address some health issues I was experiencing. Back then (about 10 years ago) it was not easy to find these items and even more difficult to find any that worked as well as "regular" products. I wish this had been available back then! It smells wonderful and lathers just as well as any other shampoo. I have extremely sensitive skin and found this product didn't cause any issues. My hair looked great, felt fantastic, and did I mention I loved the smell? The only downside (for me) is that even though I only wash my hair 1-2 times per week the cost is a bit high for my budget. Today, I used Posh for the 1st time. I didn't use it with damp hair in my prepping before using the Le Volume. I used this product afterwards, to cut down on my frizz and fly-aways especially around my ends. I was nervous about this because when I typically do a "blow-out" using the Le Volume my ends looks a little ratty bc I have thin hair. Using the POSH helped give it a more cohesive look at the ends. Didn't weigh it down either since when I put product in my hand it's like an oily consistency after rubbing it together. I then ran it along my ends and along mid-shaft. I have thick curly hair that is prone to frizz; especially on humid days. A friend recommended I try l'ange products, specifically POSH. I was reluctant to buy something online as I've "fallen" for too many online products that don't deliver their promises. My friend knows this and gave me a few dollops of her posh to try while we were at the beach for a few days. WOW! This stuff helps to tame my frizz, make my curls shine, isn't heavy and doesn't have a weird smell! It's worth the hype. I did wait for a sale before I purchased a bottle. I have very fine stick straight hair and I always get a little frizziness after styling my hair. I’ve tried every product out there so I was shocked when I tried Posh. Because my hair is fine, thin and straight it takes a VERY SMALL amount – just a small dot on my finger rubbed through my fingers and then through my hair – to tame any frizzies that result from heat styling. My brush rolls smoothly through my hair when blow drying and my hair looks great after using any styling iron or brush. I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. The conditioner is nice and slimey (if you have hair like mine that will tangle horribly and you need a slimey conditioner just to be able to comb it after.. my hair is shoulder length now, but used to be LONG, my hair acts no different with a different length), its very conditioning and works very well!!! I have zero complaints on both these products and do recommend! Only warning is the scent if you are sensitive, you can always try and return, but give it a fair chance. I honestly love this stuff and so glad I found the right product so I can stick with something that makes me and my hair happy. FINALLY!! P.S. I leave my conditioner upside down, so its easier to squeeze it out VS shaking the bottle to get the conditioner to come out since its thick not runny.Jessica

I really love that this product truly makes my fizzy, wavy hair less frizzy and sleek! I come out of the shower with shiny hair and it seems to stay much more tame than with standard shampoos!! I am very happy with this shampoo! This shampoo has little to no scent, so it's great for people who also prefer mild-scented hair products! Highly recommend for anyone, but especially for those who deal with frizz! I usually buy Aveda smooth infusion but they changed the formula/product and reviews aren't great. So I tried this. I am completely surprised at how much I love it! I'm a very picky person when it comes to my hair and the products that I use. Most of the products that I have used in the past (even if they're raved about) end up drying out my hair making it very brittle or dull. I have very very curly hair and it's very thick and long so I have to use multiple products to keep my hair tame, soft healthy, and smooth. That includes using multiple hair masks ( I'm a pro multi masker lol) in order to make sure the products spread evenly and two that I get the best results for hydration and strength. This treatment surprised me a bit given how small the bottle is. I started by shampooing per directions. I then, separated my hair into 6 and started with one pump on each section starting from mid shaft to ends then repeated the process with my roots (I used a few extra pumps) then waited 4 minutes. The texture of this particular product surprised me because it's not something I would normally use on my hair it is a cream but it didn't have any slip (so I thought), And it didn't feel thick enough. But within those four minutes my hair was smoother softer and shinier I was very surprised at how soft it felt and how my hair didn't tangle up (which would have normally happened had I used a product with no slip.) due to all the manipulation. With that being said there are a couple of drawbacks with the product. One: the price for the size is a little dicey to me, like I would hesitate greatly buying this product once I run out and hesitate recommending to someone who has as much hair as I do (quick explanation: my hair reaches a little past my waist when flat ironed and is very dense) especially since the directions state to use the product for the first four to six washes then 3-4 for aftercare/as needed/ upkeep. Two: When I used the product I said to myself that it smelled like rubbing alcohol. Then I read the ingredients and noticed that it had alcohol high on it. I'm not sure what denatured alcohol does but I'm hoping it doesn't dry my hair out with time. All in all I'm excited to use it more and see how my hair reacts. *extra notes* With first usage I loved it, second usage I'm noticing my curls are more defined. I was my hair weekly, detangle first then shampoo towel dry then I use the mask. Okay, I do not normally write reviews but I kinda just have to about this product. To give some backstory, I was dumb and thought my hair was invincible and got into hair color. September 2021 was the first time I dyed my hair with box dye and my hair didn’t react at all. It was still extremely healthy and felt like my virgin hair. So I assumed my hair was a special case and could withstand anything… so, I decided to get creative with my hair and went absolutely crazy. After my first dye, from mid October 2021 – early February 2022, I bleached my hair 5 times, dyed my hair with 4 Arctic fox colors and 3 box dyes and one professional dye from Sally’s, used the homemade color remover method of dish soap, developer, baking soda and purple shampoo probably 20 times… if not more. It wasn’t until it was too late that I realized how dead and fried and destroyed my hair was. It was so bad that my hair would stick out straight in the air when I’d pick up a small section, rather than bouncing and falling down like healthy hair does. To fix my mistake, I tried to use MANY different deep masks, hair hyaluronic acid and olaplex and those barely made a dent in the damage I caused… so I bought the mini size of K-18 and just finished 5 washes with it (I probably have one more wash left but I was too excited to wait to write this review). After the first wash my hair felt exponentially better than it had since my first dye. And after my 5th wash, I can confidently say this product has totally saved my hair. Of course it’s not completely healed, but I’d say it’s 80% back to it’s “virgin” state. I’d say after a couple more washes it’ll be almost back to it’s completely healthy state. My hair is a couple inches from my shoulders but very dense so I have to section my hair into 2 sections and do 2 pumps for each one to feel properly coated. The takeaway from this review is don’t be stupid like I was, but also this product is an absolute miracle worker and 100% worth the price.SuchToasty

So normally I would keep a magical life changing hair treatment to myself but I’m literally dead from being in shock after using this product for the first time last night. I was wondering why I have never heard or seen anything about this product but found out it’s because it is brand new. Apparently research scientist from a US biological engineering department discovered this brand new breakthrough peptide strand that has never been used before in any hair product. We have seen tons of protein and bonding treatments on the market like “olaplex” but this peptide strand that was discovered is one of a kind. If you read there website, and especially me trying every bonding treatment on the market, I was so skeptical because they are basically promising after one use and 4 minutes your hair even severely bleached or damaged in any way, will go back to its “virgin” youthful state. I was like SUREEEE that’s what they all say and my hair never gets repaired enough to the point that I am like wow lol. But literally reading the science behind it, it does kinda make sense. Olaplex will repair the hairs structure only to a certain point, every other treatment will only go as far as the core, and never to the polypeptide chains which is the most inner layer of our hair. But the K18 peptide that was discovered will! And let me just tell you I have never once felt the need to spread feedback from a hair product but after washing my hair last night I almost dropped dead lol. If anyone knows me they know that I am so indecisive with my hair and I go from platinum blonde to black and back to platinum literally all the time. I recently just went back platinum and within the last month have bleached my hair several times and it was EXTREMELY damaged to where it felt like straw. I wanted to give this product a try because it is “patented” and I have never seen a product have a patent so the ingredient had to of been good. I put this on my hair for the first time last night. All you do is wash your hair with shampoo NO conditioner and then when you get out of the shower you put the K18 peptide in and leave it in. My hair right now literally feels and looks the healthiest it has like I have never bleached it in my whole life. I’m just waiting for this product to be found out about and all other hair company’s will literally go out of business. The sample size bottle is $30 and regular size about $80 but please if you have never been able to get your hair to even a somewhat healthy state you have to try this. This product is not a miracle, cure-all mask. It does what it claims and hydrates. Which helps with frizz, and makes hair managable and smooth. It's not the best mask I've ever used but it does it's job. With this mask, for it to be at all effective, you have to follow directions and use at the very least 5 – 10 minutes. I personally leave it on for an hour. When first first opening this mask, you get hit in the face with a rose scent. After having the product for a few weeks, the smell dissipates into a more gentle scent, which I prefer, though it still lasts on the hair long after washing. Will I repurchase this mask? No. Will I use up the rest of the tub? Oh, yeah. It makes for a luxurious shower time. I simply prefer more softening and shining results if I'm going to leave something on my head longer than 5 minutes.Jennifarfar

I received this haircare free from Influenster and Ouai in exchange for my honest review . The Thick Hair Treatment Masque is a treat to use. It has a light scent that isn't overwhelming, leaves my hair softened within only a few minutes, and rinses out clean. It isn't extremely deep conditioning, but the plus side is that it doesn't get greasy or weigh down my straight but thick hair. I might try to even use a little as a leave in conditioner. The tub feels luxe, but it's annoying to have to dip wet fingers into an open tub of cream while in the shower. A tube or pump might have been easier to use. I am in love with the scent of this Ouai masque! The fragrance is a light rose and lychee scent. Is this what rich people smell like?! The first time I used this, I instantly knew I was going to love it because I could run my fingers through my hair in the shower. I applied a quarter-sized amount (which was plenty) and rinsed it out with cool water. The comb glided right through and I even felt like my hair dried faster. Since I have fine hair, it is really important that products I use do not add weight and this one definitely does not! After drying, my hair was super smooth, silky, and so shiny! The best part – there were ZERO tangles in my hair the next morning! This lasted the entire day and even until the next morning! This Ouai Treatment Masque is spendy but I’ll continue using it – totally worth it!imdevong

I was sent this product by SpaceNK to trial at home and review. Though I love the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (and the probably infamous caramel-y scent), having previously tried samples of the shampoo and conditioner, I'm really not a fan of the hair care range. I have fine, flyaway, naturally wavy hair which is frizzy and can be prone to kinks and other unpredictable behaviour. I was concerned that this may not be for me as I found the shampoo and conditioner a tad heavy for my fine hair. Conscious of my previous experience, I made sure not to use any oil or any sort of leave in treatment on my hair for a week before trying this product. I also made sure to use as little of it as possible (which was rather difficult as it's quite a thick product!). I followed the instructions which said to apply it to damp, freshly washed hair from root to tip and leave it for at least 10 minutes. I worked from the ends upwards so there would be as little product as possible weighing down my roots and left it for around 10 minutes. Though it's quite a gloopy product, it washed out easily and even whilst showering, I could feel that my hair felt softer and smoother (and even a tad thicker though, perhaps, this was due to the product being a bit too heavy for my hair type?). I also liked the way that my hair reacted to the treatment. It seemed to encourage my natural waves and I was confident leaving my hair to dry naturally. Whilst it did not eradicate all frizziness, it was a major improvement. My hair felt deeply conditioned but not greasy. Another bonus is the scent and even 24 hours after using the treatment, my hair still holds plenty of the beautiful signature scent. Now for the negatives! The scent is very strong. I love it but many may not. I also think I would need to use this sparingly. Even with the little that I used, my hair felt heavier / weighed down and I expect there to be quite a bit of product build up. If, like me, you have fine, flyaway hair, you may feel this is a bit much. However, as an occasional deep conditioning treatment, it's not a bad investment.IndiePrincess

I've used this twice so far in a week in place of my normal hair mask treatments, and so far, I think I've found a new hair favourite! I will be including my thoughts below: Ergonomically, this has fantastic packaging. It has this lovely textured rim around the bottom of the jar, which means you get a good grip while scooping out your product with wet hands in the shower. It has a nice chunky lid too, which screws off easily enough, but contains a small pull lid on top of the actual hair butter, so the stuff inside won't spill. It isn't too runny, nor is it too gloopy and thick, so it's the perfect consistency to rub through your hair. I have my fine hair that's mid-upper arm length, and I only need a very small scoop to coat my hair. I run a comb through it after to ensure it's well distributed, and then spread the excess picked up in the comb's teeth over the front of my face where the fringe is (heat damage, hello!). I then clip it up for the rest of my shower, rinse it off at the end, and hey presto! Beautiful glossy hair. I can see a real difference when I've rinsed it off as well, because it feels very soft to the touch, and even after being bundled up in a towel and then unwrapped after, it falls down in soft, non-tangled locks, which have no resistance when combed through. I've tried this with and without my other hair products (leave in spray conditioner, heat protectant, and anti-frizz serum), and I've found that I do need my extra things to really get my hair to sit totally unfrizzed after, but even without, the shine and gloss is absolutely stunning. I think in future, I'll probably leave this stuff on for longer (overnight if possible), which will hopefully give me the full repair effects. However, for a ten minute flash treatment, this is a really nifty thing to have in the shower with you. Also, in regards to the scent, I was a little disappointed – I've heard wonders about the SdJ products' smell, and to be honest, it's pretty much like every high street hair mask smell. It's lovely, don't get me wrong! But it's nothing special (it still has the chemically salon product smell) and in my opinion, shouldn't be the aspect that sways you for or against buying the product. I don't know if this is going to replace my current favourite's holy grail status (Olaplex No.3), but value wise, it's definitely going to be a close competitor. I'll be reaching for this again in future when I want some quick hollywood hair for sure!mun

This is a very good multitasking product. It help retain moisture, it reduces frizz, and makes my daughters extremely curly, thick hair very manageable. She is even able to brush her own hair out because of the detangling ability of this product. Definitely a must buy for curly girls!!Tina A.

After shampooing my hair I towel dry my long color treated hair very gently with a water absorbing towel and put a few pumps of the 14 in 1 Miracle Worker into my hands, rub them together and apply to my hair from midway down to the ends. I can then let it air dry while I sleep and wake up to a gentle wave in my hair. If my hair looks slightly frizzy during the week, i will pull into a ponytail, wet my hands with water and slightly dampen my hanging ponytail hair before putting a few pumps of 14 in 1 Miracle Worker into my hands, rubbing together and disperse onto my long haired ponytail. It makes my hair look soft with a light wavy bend and never feels sticky when dry. It works even better than higher priced conditioning products that I have purchased in the past.Georgia P.

I bought this because I recently had to have brain surgery due to a brain bleed, and my scar was itching like crazy. This sooths my scalp and stops the itch as soon as I spray it on, wet or dry hair. It also helps with the frizz, enhances my waves. I like that it prevents breakage and strengthens. It's moisturizing. It helps detangle. It's super affordable. The only thing I don't like about it, is the spray nozzle, a lot of times it comes out in clumps, and it makes a mess on the bottle. I would definitively recommend this.christina.h

I’ve tried several different products for my type of hair. Yes my hair is natural but the products Ive used in the past just wasn’t a good match. Mielle Rice Water products is absolutely amazing.
