I had been using Head and Shoulders and other various dandruff shampoo brands for my dandruff for years and never really found anything that helped much. I tried scalp scrubs, masks, rinses, treatments, etc and tons of home remedies and never found anything very effective. I’ve struggled with dandruff for years and have tried EVERY product; Selsun Blue, T/Gel, head and shoulders, home remedies, you name it. Head and Shoulders was really the only thing I found that kept it somewhat at bay and I still only use the condition along with using Nizoral shampoo. I have very thick and curly hair so I don’t wash it often which is why none of the other products worked for me because they would make my hair way too greasy. I have been using Nizoral for about 3 months now and will never use anything else. After only about a week of using it I noticed a drastic change in my scalp, no flakes AT ALL!! This is going to sound very disgusting but at one point many years ago I had dandruff really really bad. At least I thought it was the address. I kept using every single day and your shampoo I could find and it did very little. My skin on my scalp would flake and almost healed to the point of being a lot like cradle cap that little babies have. I really wanted to love this conditioner. I am 39, with fine, curly 3A hair that is beginning to thin. I am transitioning to natural hair and have begun co-washing. Finding a growth stimulating conditioner that doesn’t require a shampoo is harder than you’d think! This conditioner ticked so many boxes. And it actually left my hair feeling wonderfully soft. Soft enough that I didn’t mind the slightly medicinal scent. Sadly, after only a couple of uses, my skin near the hairline, my back, and even my ears started to break out horribly. Tiny, itchy, bumpy acne so inflamed that I had to wear foundation for the first time in years and basically went into hiding. Even my ear LOBES broke out. I have always been sensitive to ingested biotin, being one of the unlucky few that gets terrible breakouts, but I thought using it topically might have a different reaction. And honestly, I’m not sure that it was even the biotin. All I know is the one con seriously outweighed all the pros I encountered. It gets two stars because I respected the ingredients, was reasonably priced, and actually did leave my hair feeling great. I sadly could not use it long enough to attest to the growth stimulation.
This shampoo and conditioner is amazing and making changes to my hair. I wash it twice, once to get the dirt etc, out then again so the shampoo can do its job also once a month i leave conditioner in for 20 mins with shower cap on for a deep treatment only been using a few weeks and hair transforming. In mature years so many changes to the hair but this product is solving a lot of problems especially thining due to less hormones. A permanent fixture in my cupboard. I spent a few hundred dollars and used a these products exclusively in November/December 2017. A few weeks into my new routine, I started noticing tons of breakage and scalp sores. I took the advice of my MP, added in an oil and a mask to combat the breakage and soothe my scalp… A few weeks later, my husband pointed out my rapidly thinning hair and bald spots appearing. I immediately stopped using ALL Monat products went to a doctor. The doctor advised that the new hair products severely damaged my scalp by causing a growth of bacteria and gave me steroids and some medicated rinses. I also went to my stylist who informed me that my scalp looked like I had chemical/acid burns and that Monat products completely fried chunks of my hair off. Now, I didn't go from using low quality drug store products on my hair to Monat, I don't have a hormonal imbalance, I don't have allergies to common products, I don't have a vendetta against MLM's or seeing people "succeed", it's not my water – we have a very high end water system in my house, and I certainly don't sell competing brands (I'm a teacher, not a stylist). I was using HIGH quality salon brands and took excellent care of my hair before switching. This shampoo, along with the conditioner, did seem to help the regrowth of my hair a little bit. I believe it does do it's job. However, I find it to be very expensive compared to other hair growth brands like Bosley for instance. I was a VIP member for Monat so I even got the discount and with shipping the system was often over $100. I have been using this shampoo for YEARS. When i first experienced clumps of hair shed I used it and immediately it halted my hair shed by half. My roots also felt lifted. I took a chance years ago! My frizz is under control just by shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels LIGHT (not weighed down by other frizz products). My breakage and hair loss is very minimum compared to ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE breakage and hair loss before using WOW! I’ll use this shampoo/conditioner combo forever! I regularly use Pura D'Or ACV shampoo and conditioner. I love it. However since my hair is high-maintenance needing moisture I use a lot of conditioner. I decided to order just a bottle of conditioner alone. I tried a different type to see how alternating two different lines would benefit my hair. I know that some ingredients have different properties. The number one ingredient in the ACV conditioner is aloe vera. But the mix in this conditioner keeps my hair stronger and prevents split ends on the days when I just wet it. It effectively prevents my hair from getting thinner. I have been using this shampoo for YEARS. When i first experienced clumps of hair shed I used it and immediately it halted my hair shed by half. My roots also felt lifted. It's not a miracle but it save a lot of my hair. What really helped my hair is cutting A LOT of hair off basically into a pixie cut, and getting blood work and finding the cause. For me I had severe iron deficiency anemia and never took any supplements for it. For years I had broken thin hair, that barely reached my nose in the front, Frankenstein mullet. My doctor ordered a prescription for iron and I got other pixie cut and treating my hair gently. I followed my prescription exactly. Used this shampoo, good conditioner, a weekly mask and pinned my hair up frequently to avoid friction but I blowout my hair every week with heat protectant. One year later and all of my hair goes past my chin and no bald spots. So major and life changing my boyfriend teases me saying he blinked and my hair grew. It's not thick and long but I have a good thickness lob now. I am extremely happy. Correcting my severe anemia was the biggest help to my hair but this shampoo helped control the damage. (Also my fatigue, pica, 15 hour slumbers and my inability to run with getting winded instantly gone with my iron prescription) This shampoo helped me keep the little hair I had over the years and I still use it. I was very happy to find this shampoo on Walmart.com. My first purchase of it was from Amazon and the shampoo was very thin and watery, I was not happy with the amount I would have to use to just get a lather. This new bottle from Walmart was so much better, the product was thicker and I'm not having to use as much to attain a good lather. I have been using for a couple of months and so far I have noticed that I am not having as much hair loss and I seem to have a lot of new growth. It leaves my hair feeling light and not weighed down as some shampoo do. Overall I am happy with the product, only complaint would be the smell but that is probably because of the tea tree oil, I hate that smell. This smells great BUT it does not give you good results. It is definitely not anti hair fall as I am seeing the same if not more hair fall than before using it. But more importantly it has made my hair super greasy. On my old shampoo I could go 3 maybe even 4 days between washes and my hair was still beautiful. With this shampoo it is greasy by the end of the 2nd day. I cannot wash my hair that often I will have no hair left after a year. So I will be going back to my old shampoo and throwing this stuff in the trash.Steph B

I have experienced a trauma that has caused medical related hair loss too. I bought this shampoo, conditioner & hair tonic. I followed it exactly as indicated for 8wks. I have also been on a medical vitamin regiment. I reordered these 3 products for a second round. There was 1-2 weeks in between 1st & 2nd round. I do not know if these products alone or these products with the vitamin regiment is what is helping, but I can tell an improvement. My hair stylist has confirmed the same. I have been out of the 2nd round for 2-3 weeks. I am now ordering a 3rd round. I have remained on the vitamin regiment. My hair was coming out in handfuls before I started using this. I have only been using this shampoo and conditioner for about a month and I am a believer! I only lose a small (normal) amount of hair when I shower and I don't feel that it's falling out excessively during the day. The reviews are true about this leaving your hair greasy, but after a few weeks of use, my hair has adjusted and is no longer greasy. Take your time really washing your scalp and rinsing, just like your hairdresser would, and you'll be fine. I also switched to a Wet brush made for distributing oil and it has really helped make my hair shiny after using this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is creamy in texture and quite strongly scented like tea tree which I love (but may not be everyone's cup of tea!). It helps clear build-up from my scalp, as promised and doesn't strip my hair color, although I do find it slightly drying – in itself not a problem as the conditioner used straight after balances out the effect. Usually I find it difficult to find an effective shampoo to clear build-up but this one actually does it, and as a bonus I also found it helps keep my scalp clear of the psoriasis that flares up every now and again, possibly due to the Tea tree. With regards to hair fall, I can't say I noticed any difference, but it's possible I just haven't used it long enough. And I don't plan on using it for much longer either because the issue with this shampoo is that whether I use it once, twice or three times per wash, my hair is left feeling/looking greasy and very flat. And no matter how I use it or the duration or frequency of usage, nothing makes a difference. This line of products is great just buyer beware that not every hair type can handle a strengthening shampoo and conditioner everyday, I used this everyday during quarantine and my hair began to feel thick yet brittle. I wasn't able to run a brush or even my hands through it wet or dry. It felt like I had years of product build up in my hair, very heavy and weighed down and began cracking and stiffening at the ends. Finally braved my salon after 6 months and my hair dresser (who I have been going to for 14 years) touched my hair and immediately told me it wasn't normal, especially for my hair and asked if I was using a strengthening shampoo. She advised that a strengthening shampoo should be used once a week max and not for daily use. I ended up having to have a salon Malibu treatment to strip the build up and then a deep condition to make it healthy. Ended up costing me 2 more hours and $50 extra in my salon bill. Again this make work for some or most but my hair does not agree with this shampoo and conditioner. Thank goodness my hair recovered after the treatment. I have fine to normal straight hair.SR
I first used this product when samples were sent to me as a free gift when I purchased something else. I have very THICK curly hair and it literally feels like straw. So glad I tried this! My hair is wavy, long, and fine. It is colored red and as everyone knows, red definitely is prone to fading. I have not been using this long enough to say if it will retain my color any better than any other good sulfate free shampoo but so far so good! I recommend so much! I would love to keep up with this product. It lathers like a lot. Suds galore! It's so light weight , all you have to do is lather for a few minutes to help stimulate your scalp for better results. A little goes a long way! Many products claim to smooth one's hair and make it silky soft. As one gets a bit older (me) frizz becomes a bigger battle. I have tried many shampoo and conditioners and nothing ever seems to work, until I tried Keranique. After wrapping my hair up in the towel when I got into the shower, my comb and hair usually get into a major battle, with Keranique my comb and hair were at a peaceful gathering. I have to add that I really if never do reviews, but this omg I had to do it. I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner system that cleanses and moisture whit out leave grease or drying my hair. After use feels bouncy and healthy. I can't believe this exists! After trying all the expensive one salon grade like Pureology, Redken, chi, u name it. I have fine texture curly hair medium blonde. Also I stopped shedding and my hair does not fall out while I washed like the other shampoos. A lil goes long way and I can stay 3 days between washes looking good.Elizabeth

I got this as part a free sample program. I have used it for 6 days so far. I have previously tried similar products that help with hair fall but I have to admit that this one works pretty good and it smells vibrant. It is lightweight, not heavy at all. The accompanying shampoo is also lightweight and not too thick. I have noticed the following benefits from this conditioner: smoothing, not greasy (even after back to back/24 hr use), minimized fly always, minimized hair fall from running my fingers through it, brushing, & shampooing. It is small in size, but that’s pretty typical for most conditioners. I don’t typically wash my hair four times in six days, I usually do it twice in six days, so I imagine the conditioner will last me longer when I go back to my normal routine. If I’m being completely honest, I typically minimize the use of conditioners because they tend to wear my hair down and make it look like I stuck my head in a bucket of grease, this was definitely not the case with this one. I followed the directions, and put it on after my shampoo and after I was out of the shower, left it on for the allotted time, and then went back in and rinsed it out. Although that was slightly inconvenient for me as often I have fast paced mornings, it was definitely worth the extra step. My hair felt and still feel smooth, and like I said major points for no-fly always or making it look super greasy. I believe that this one will definitely be a keeper, and I hope to continue using it in the next month with the accompanying shampoo. I liked both the conditioner and shampoo, but for me the scent is way too strong. Fragrances in products can be a polarizing sort of thing. I know some of my friends who would love this scent, but I am not one of them. It has a sweet floral scent. The shampoo and conditioner both applied very easily throughout my fine hair (though have a lot of it) however. Sometimes shampoos can be more concentrated making them difficult to really distribute well, but not the case with this one. The condition also had the right amount of slip to it to evenly apply though the length of my hair. Neither of these products weighed down my hair. Seeing I cannot get past the strong scent, I cannot confirm how well this supports hair from breakage. That would require a lot more testing than just one use. I do think it is worth giving it a try though if you find the scent to not be overpowering.decolella

I recommend so much! I would love to keep up with this product. It lathers like a lot. Suds galore! It's so light weight , all you have to do is lather for a few minutes to help stimulate your scalp for better results. A little goes a long way! Simple packing for this brand really sold it for me, and the reviews. I have noticed my hair is fuller and new hair growth where my hair had been pulled out by a tight ponytail. Don't do what I did! I just purchased this for the first time and I am so confused as to why they would put a screw off cap on it rather than a flip top. So you have to screw the lid off and stash it somewhere. The conditioner has a flip top cap. Why would they package it this way and especially considering it's kinda pricey? I didn't even know any shampoos still had this type of lid. I am inordinately annoyed with this. I doubt I'll buy this brand again. There are other brands out there with better designs.Ccpc
I have been using this product for about a year now. I had lost a tremendous amount of hair due to covid and natural aging and needed to try something. It was phenomenal with stopping my hair fall out and within a month I could feel new hair growing. I normally have very thin hair. Throughout the summer I still had very minimal hair loss and my hair was getting thicker. Sometime this fall, I noticed the formula was much thicker than before and shortly after, my hair started falling out more and more. I don't notice new hair growing like I did previously. I'm not sure if the formula changed, but it does not work as well as it did. I am still using it, in the hopes that it will change back to the original formula.Krisal87

I tried this shampoo after it was recommended on a south korean youtube channel and it didn't dissapoint. It is delicate on the hair but it cleans the scalp very well. It also has a delicate but good smell. It costs more than a regular shampoo but it comes in a very big size and you only need a small amount each time. With this shampoo I can wash my hair everyday without damaging it.Virginia

This shampoo is high quality compared to other Korean (Ryo) and Hair Loss shampoos that I've used. There was a significant stop in hair loss at the third hair wash for me. I wash my hair every 2-3 days and have an oily scalp. I have severe hair loss problems for at least 3 months and switching to this shampoo really helps after trying other products that did not work. The scent is quite pleasant, it reminds me of a faint lavender/rosemary scent, but herbal scent for sure. At first I didn't like it as it didn't foam up that much for me, but if lather in your palms it will be filled with bubbles/foam. It actually does work! Scalp is not as oily like previous, cleanses well and roots appear to be stronger after 1 month of use. I highly recommend, it is a very good product. Worth the money if you are trying to stop hair loss. I use this together with Lador Tea Tree Hair Clinic Hair Pack. There was no irritation for me.Leanne
