Do not buy this vacuum. I had one of these sweepers a long time ago – and I purchased this with high hopes and big expectations. I could not be any more disappointed. Trying to use this piece of crap is so darn frustrating. The air filter and door WILL NOT STAY IN PLACE. It falls out constantly, it absolutely will not stay in place. The vacuum does not pull straight, the hose with the power head will not stand up but falls over. When I am pulling the vacuum as I sweep, even when I am going in a straight line, it runs into the wall or ROLLS OVER ONTO IT'S TOP. Then the lid to the attachments that I couldn't get open previously pop open as it rolls over, and all of the attachments fall out. It is so dang frustrating to use this contraption that I HATE using it. I bought this to make my life easier and also more efficient. I wanted a sweeper that I can use on the floors as well as the walls, curtains, furniture and any nook and cranny in the house. It is so hard to use and so frustrating to have to keep uprighting the vacuum and then put the filter and door back on and then try to get the attachments out and make sure the hose and head are leaned adequately or laid down so they don't fall over and break something – that by that time I am so frustrated I just want to throw it out the door. The reason I gave it one star is because it does have adequate suction – not super great, but adequate. I so wanted to love this sweeper, and I am so disappointed and frustrated with it. I am so sorry that I wasted our hard earned money on it.
This Kenmore vacuum is a piece of Junk. I would give it zero stars but that is not an option. We had a Kenmore vacuum that was awesome for 20 years before it finally died. We thought we could buy the Kenmore BC4026 as a replacement. Wrong. The vacuum has been redesigned with none of the utility of our previous vacuum. The BC4026 is bulky and heavy making it difficult to get in tight to reach places. The end of the wand has a huge locking mechanism for attachments, which makes it impossible to vacuum along baseboards. I used our old Kenmore to vacuum the car interior, but the BC4026's handle is huge which makes it cumbersome to reach tight car interior spaces. Also, the hose swivel that attaches to the vacuum is not the L-shaped fitting shown on the box, so it does not swivel and keep a low profile like it should. This make maneuvering and storage of the vacuum difficult. They have plastic fittings on the BC4026's telescoping wand that make it difficult to extend. The old design was much better. Our old Kenmore vacuum was smaller and more streamlined with the same vacuum power making it more functional and a better design than the BC4026. Bottom line is that the BC4026 was not designed for its intended purpose of being a household vacuum.Michael
Overall this is a decent canister vacuum but the motorized vacuum head is of an ackward design. In order to vacuum more than a foot under furniture, you have to get down on your knees and move the motorized head in arcs left and right; the joint at which it attaches to the control handle prevents it from moving straight ahead without tilting up so that the agitator and suction end no longer makes contact with the carpet. If you move it to the left, the head may detach due to a poorly designed release lever on the left side; designed to make it easy to remove with your foot but making vacuuming under a bed a long and difficult process to get full coverage. I found myself having to reach repeatedly under the bed to retrieve the disconnected head. I was able to modify that release lever slightly by tightening the screw that attaches it but it is still an arduous task to vacuum under a bed; which was the main reason we bought a canister vacuum! You have to sweep in arcs and make sure you get coverage. This would be difficult for someone who has trouble laying down on their knees, pitching themselves forward and moving the wand back and forth in arcs. On the plus side, the "pet" motorized head is great for vacuuming carpeted stairs; no pet required to make good use of it.Jeffrey

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review from #bzzagent. The Bissell Poweredge vacuum was easy to put together out of the box. The suction power is good and I like the accessories it comes with. I was really disappointed that this vacuum does not have an LED light! For over $200.00 you would assume it would. That feature alone would not make me want to purchase this. Also I don't like the fact you have to mount the vacuum to the wall to store it. It should have the option to fold in half. This Bissell PowerEdge Cordless Vacuum is amazingly very satisfying to use! It has never fail me every time I use it. It cleans up really good, has a great suction and it also gets the edges well. It's lightweight and super easy to maneuver. We have two dogs that sheds a lot and small kids so we have an endless clutter. I had put off purchasing a cordless vacuum after using a couple big name / expensive cordless vacuums. But I read the reviews and decided to order this one. I have always wanted to own a cordless vacuum and now this Black and Decker Power Series Extreme cordless stick vacuum is making my life so easy. I like the fact that it’s lightweight and easy to handle. I can easily carry it around my house with least effort. Being cordless I no more have to struggle with wires. The dustbin is removable and can easily be emptied. The handle can be detached from the brush of you just need to use the stick to clean the corners or crevices. The anti tangle brush bar is something I am happy about. The vacuum is powerful and sucks dust and dirt very well. Great for both hardwood floors and also carpet. The LED light is the best feature especially when the places are poorly lit the LED light helps in cleaning up the spots and makes my house more clean. The battery holds good for about one hour. And I own several black and decker lawn tools so I mix and match my batteries and that’s really a plus point. Definitely is much less noisy compared to other vacuums. The accessories given with this vacuum are very good and love the fact that I can hang it in my tools closet after using it. This cordless stick vacuum is great for cleaning stairs. I've had a lot of bad luck with cordless vacuums in my life. They generally lack enough power to accomplish anything you'd want them to. The POWERSERIES Extreme Cordless Stick Vacuum, however, has not left me feeling disappointed! I have a mixture of hard floor, low pile carpet, and medium pile carpet throughout my house. The high pile carpet does not benefit much from this cordless vacuum, but for spot cleaning the short pile carpet, this thing can do the trick if I put it on "MAX" speed (although it's a bit loud at that level). But where this thing really shines for me is on hard floor. Even on the lowest speed, it hasn't had any problems picking debris up off my hard flooring. The biggest highlight was when I discovered that it fits beneath my couch!! The couch only has a 3-inch clearance, so it becomes a black hole that gathers all kinds of junk: leaves, dust, dog hair, dropped food, etc… To clean under there, I've always had to lift up the couch and move it out of the way. But this cordless vacuum allows me to clean underneath it completely, without moving the couch at all!! Talk about a win! It also has some handy features, which I'll list off below. I LOVE my Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum cleaner! I vacuum my house at least daily due to having one big dog and 2 cats that all seem to shed. I think I have found my forever brand and model with the Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum! I love how powerful this vacuum is! After one vacuum, I was amazed at how much hair was in the canister! I love that the vacuum is lightweight since I have to carry it to three different floors in my home. I like the different settings for both the carpet and the hardwood as my home has both types of flooring. The suction on this vacuum is so powerful, you will be amazed! The tools that came with this vacuum are awesome! The quick release cleaning wand is perfect to clean those high areas and the dusting brush is extremely helpful with cleaning the blinds, curtains and ceiling fans. The overall feel of this vacuum cleaner would best be described as cheap. The plastic used for the housing is flimsy and the handle itself feels unsecure. The dirt collection canister is difficult to release due to the manufacture glue holding the flap in place. The brush attachment stopped working within 10 minutes of use and when it does run the attachment provides poor cleaning power. Overall I am not satisfied with the vacuum and I have begun my return of the item. I purchased this and a Hoover carpet cleaner and I am just as displeased with the cleaner.Bill
I've had this vacuum for a b little over a year as a spare for upstairs. I don't use it that often and it had worked fine for what I needed. Then it shut off the other day while using it. I discovered hair clogs in the hose. Seriously disappointed since this is specifically for households with pets. I cleared the clogs, cleaned the brushroll and tried again. There was very little suction and it still turned off after a few minutes of use. I took out the filters & made sure they were clean. I was actually surprised at how clean they were. Tested it again this morning and there is still no suction. It gets hot and shuts off. Not sure if I should spend the money to get it services or just throw it away. I have used this product for at least 6 yrs. now. It is perfect for tile or floors without carpeting. It works fine on area or low pile rugs/mats. I love the convenience of emptying the canister and cleaning the filters. I bought an extra filter cup so I would always have a clean dry one as the other is drying. I did have to purchase a new vac as my original was breaking from wear (nothing serious). The cost of replacement part (crevice tool) was $1.99 and $4.99 to ship. I believe the main chamber either was discontinued or was again, cheaper than shipping. This time I ordered the extra parts with my purchase. I have bought one for my daughter and sister in law also. The only thing I would recommend is to keep the vacuum emptied and clean and it will serve you well.
I bought this primarily for hardwoods, two (low-medium pile rugs) and light vacuuming in my car. I always used a large vac. I am pretty much OCD when it comes to cleaning. I became ill over a year ago and needed something much lighter. This vacuum is wonderful! I don't know about carpet, because I have none. But on wood floors and linoleum it picks up pet hair and dirt much better than using a broom. It is very light weight and has helped me tremendously. The Craftsman V20 cordless handheld vacuum packs a punch for a handheld vac it’s pretty powerful and this sucker is heavy thanks to the V20 4.0 AH lithium battery (although the battery does not come with the box it’s sold separately) Compared to other handheld vac‘s this is definitely more powerful and works much better and of course convenience great for the car workshop stairsteps things of that nature you don’t want to lug around a vacuum or a shop vac. It had a great suction with a crevice tool although it didn’t come with any other attachments it really doesn’t need them. I was surprised it wasn’t obnoxiously loud and the canister was a decent size to hold in between emptying. This hand vac made my cleaning days a breeze with an unexpected benefit. We bought it because of the great reviews as a hand held vacuum to take along in the 5th wheel while on vacation. It turns out it's the perfect fit for our 4 sets of stairs! Its very powerful but does have a high pitch noise, which is anonoying. They come in a really nice box. Mounting on the wall is a plus. It looks very good, I call it classicy sporty. It is pricey. Does come with exchangeable battery so that is nice but the design of the handle is sooooo long. That handle needs to be chopped off by 2 inches. Works very good, I just wish they have white extension floor package instead of black. Overall 4 out of 5. I really light the design and the power, more power then the shark or black and decker.

I needed a vacuum to pick up cat litter from the litter mat as well as the hardwood floor of the room where the litter boxes are located. A regular vacuum was too heavy for me to use comfortably. We have a very good Dyson portable stick vacuum but the litter granules don't stay in the canister and fall out when I am finished. I purchased this Bissell due to the reviews. This is fantastic! As others have said, it almost looks like a child's toy. It is all plastic and extremely light weight. However, it picks up litter like a champ and holds it in the canister until it is emptied. I do have to change or clean the filter about once a week due to the build up of cat hair. This is quite easy to do. I would advise getting only Bissell filters as I have found that generic ones are not a perfect fit and Bissell filters are no more expensive than generic ones. I also advise having extra filters on hand. I ordered 4 from Bissell many, many months ago and they have all held up well. To clean them, I vacuum out the cat hair with another vacuum and then squirt a little Dawn dish detergent on the filter, hold it under running water while I gently rub all sides of the outside of the filter with my fingers. Rinse well and then let air dry. To me, the cleaned ones are just as good as a new filter. They are very durable. There is also a sponge filter at the end of the vacuum part that I did not notice for a while. I would recommend getting one or two for spares. I just gently shake it out when dirty. It is pretty small. I have given up taking off the main attachment and using the nozzle because I can't get the main attachment off. I don't care. I really do not need the nozzle. I cannot say enough about how great this is for my needs. It works great for hard floors. It will do a fine job of picking up litter that rests on or near the top surface of a carpet. It would not be great for deeper cleaning of a carpet.
I was a bit worried with so many negative reviews, but I love this vacuum. It is so light and easy to carry around. It picks up everything as long as you frequently empty the filter. I also take a can of compressed air to blow the filter clean from the inside out. It is well made, and all the parts fit well. I like the floor cleaner for picking up pet hair because it has no rollers where the hair gets tangled. The blue color is beautiful, and the unit leans against the wall without falling over. The cord could be a bit longer, but I have a lot of outlets, so no problem. I am very happy with the purchase. The price was very reasonable.Nancy

After 2 weeks of use, I'm impressed. This looks stylish enough to plug in and just leave it out of the way in the kitchen (or wherever you prefer). It was surprisingly powerful and pleasantly quiet. The two speeds is a nice touch as well. My only critique is that the cover on the suction head going into the dust case is just a rubber flap that was just slid into a slot without being solidly attached to anything. This meant that it would sometimes come out of position either part way or totally. I liked this enough though that I wasn't going to let that be a deal breaker, so with a couple drops of Gorilla Glue it is now solidly anchored and I haven't had an issue since. The IRIS Portable Vacuum cleaner is a great choice for a portable vacuum, but it heavily depends on what you're looking for. For a dust-picker-upper, this device works absolute wonders. Being able to quickly uplift a place without plugging a single thing in is an absolute must have for me now. I make rugs in my freetime, and one of the reasons I wanted this item was to swipe up and clean little chunks of yarn off the floor quickly while I'm working. It works in that sense, where it's easy to clean those chunks up, but it fills up EXTREMELY fast. Generally it's not a problem for me, but it may be for others who don't want to constantly go to the trash can to empty the portable vacuum. The only other problem I've been running into is the battery life. In my unit, a charge only lasts about 15-20 minutes of constant use. Again, depending on your use for the vacuum, this may be what you're looking for, but the battery life is extremely essential to me. In all, the portable vacuum is an excellent choice depending on what you're looking for out of it, but it just wasn't the best choice for me.jackh
I know, who could love a vacuum? But it's true, I do! It's sleek, doesn't take up too much space, not heavy or awkward to use, attachments work great, and charges quickly. Now let me get to it, if you have a child in a car seat you NEED this. We all know how messy kids can be with their car snacks and maybe their car seat has seen better days. With this I had my son's seat looking great in just a couple minutes. The crevice tool made quick work of the crumbs stuck in the tight corners and lining of the padding. My home is all hardwood flooring so it's also nice to just use to "spot vacuum" when I don't feel like breaking out the big vacuum to get a few crushed crackers. Like I said, kid equal crumbs. I was a little skeptical about this product, but it completely blew my mind. Not only is it very lightweight (which may be a pro or con for some), but the suction on the vacuum is great. I have hard wooden floors, so regardless of how often I clean there's always dust or hair the next day. The vacuum worked so great to get every little piece. I love this vacuum so much I want to marry it! I am owned by 3 furkids, 2 of which have long, silky fur and the third who sheds constantly. I really loved this vacuum with great features and a decent price point and it worked very well considering I have a dog that sheds a lot. Most of my flooring is hard surface and use(d) this primarily for doing the carpeted stairs, quick clean ups and under furniture. The hose on the power head tore a few months ago and I could not find a replacement for it, unless I purchased the entire power head which is almost as much as I paid for the whole vacuum. So, I used some Goop to glue the holes and it worked for a while but now so many segments are torn that the cannot be glued together anymore; still no replacement hose available. Disappointing.Scott
My husband and I are in our 80s with the usual arthritis and back problems. When we bought this vacuum we thought we had gone to Heaven early. It is so light and flexible and it gets under and around furniture so easily. The suction is terrific and emptying the canister is a snap. So we bought a second one for the other side of the house. The minute it arrived the first one would only run for less than a minute and then shut off. It was fully charged but still refused to work! I JUST purchased this vacuum and am in love with it!! It worked incredibly!! I couldn't really believe… Like, finally, I just found the BEST for me vacuum. It's lightweight, it swivels, on high mode it kicked butt!! The extensions are so easy to put on/off… THERE IS NO CORD!! YAY!! I could probably say a whole lot more things that I love about this vacuum and the only thing I didn't love was how it doesn't stand up on it's own.. but no biggy, you can lean it somewhere, precariously.. Today I'm sad.. the battery lasted no time at all on the high mode, and having a dog, that was one of my the fav thing. on the medium mode, it's mediocre, seeing as I know what it CAN do.. I'm just recharging now, having to wait to do the last room of the house, the dogs room no doubt, and I'm going to need high mode.. it's just so disappointing I literally just got this thing yesterday, let it charge fully, and then I got to play around with it and all the extensions last night, cleaning my bedroom ceiling, the blinds, etc.. now on DAY 2 it lasted maybe 5 min on high mode.. and it was charged.. it takes a while to charge, don't even know if mine works? I have owned a couple of different hand-held vacs over the years, both with and without a cord. None of them have really had powerful suction or battery life, making it incredibly difficult to use them for spot cleaning. The cordless brand I owned previously didn’t seem to last past 5 minutes. Needless to say, I had resolved that I would never own another cordless vac due to their inherent lack of power and battery time – until I found this Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Cordless Hand Vac. What’s In the Box The Pet Hair Eraser Lithium Ion Cordless Hand Vac contains a 10.8V lithium ion battery and 3 interchangeable cleaning tools. The three tools included are the crevice tool, the motorized brush, and an upholstery tool. You can even extend the length of the upholstery tool by first inserting the crevice tool into the upholstery tool, and then attaching it to the base unit. This unit also comes with a charging cable and the filter has already been inserted into the vacuum base. Right out of the box, the hand-held vacuum already had a slight charge. However, the manual recommends charging the vacuum fully prior to using it. A Quick Note About Charging the Vacuum Note that this hand vac may need up to 8 hours to be fully charged. For some reason I didn’t read that initially, and after charging it for 4 hours, the red light was still blinking. I thought I had a defective unit or something! But no, the manual does state (right at the top!) that the unit should be charged completely which takes about 8 hours. Having been a long-time fan of Bissell products, I have to say that I am really impressed with this little hand vac. It’s small, but it’s mighty! The power of suction is outstanding, and although I didn’t fully charge the unit (against the recommendations!), I used it on a few separate occasions for about 10 minutes each and noticed no decrease in power. I try to keep the litter picked up around the litter box; otherwise the cats just continue to track it everywhere despite having one of those special rugs at the entrance of the litter box. Using the crevice tool, this little vacuum absolutely came in handy for picking up litter all around the box and the bathroom floor. We have a thick red rug under the bed in the second bedroom, so I vacuumed the perimeter using the motorized tool and it worked beautifully. While the tool with the flat head is deemed the “upholstery tool”, I think it also worked well to quickly vacuum the small bathroom floor. The hand vac using the crevice tool was also perfect for running along baseboards where pet hair, dust and dirt seems to collect daily, such as the downstairs entry way. I might add that emptying the dirt collection tank is a breeze. Simply press the button and remove the filter. It’s that simple. What Could Be Better I do wish that there was an indicator for how much battery life remains as I am a visual person. It would give me a feel for knowing when the battery needs to be recharged so I don’t get stuck in the middle of a cleaning event and cannot finish. I suspect that when I feel the power is reduced, either via sound or suction (or both), then I will know it is time to recharge the battery. I also wish that there was an indicator light for how much charging time remains when the unit is charging. I like to conserve energy and simply don’t want to leave it unattended to charge for hours on end. Final Thoughts I am truly blown away by this mighty, little hand-held Bissell vacuum. It is light and very well-balanced, so you can take the time you need to clean. The lithium-ion battery is rechargeable and makes this a powerful little unit. My husband mentioned that this is one of the most compact lithium ion batteries he has ever seen. I should also mention that many companies that design these little vacuums get the handle wrong. Too often the hand (no matter how small yours is!) either doesn’t fit well with the handle or there is nothing ergonomic about its shape, making your hand cramp and fatigue quickly. Not so with this Bissell. I literally vacuumed dust out of the jacuzzi, vacuumed litter from around the litter box and the surrounding floor and baseboards, vacuumed the perimeter of a large rug, and then vacuumed the floor of the second bathroom all in one shot! Overall, this is the best hand-held cordless vacuum I have ever owned, and I absolutely recommend it.
I adopted my two kitties last fall and with this heat they’ve been shedding a ton! My couch, carpet, stairs etc. we’re all covered in hair and honestly working up the strength to pull out our large heavy vacuum was low. So it just build up. I looked at a few videos online comparing hand held vacuums and this one seemed promising. Love how light it is, easy to clean and does a great job cleaning. Comes with few different attachments which are helpful. Surprisingly quiet and the air it blows out is cool (our other vacuum blows out hot air!). Only used it a few times but love it so faraila.c
I have a long-haired cat that gets his fur on everything. I just got a new sectional couch and I needed a handheld Vacuum that worked well. After looking around at different products and reading many reviews I settled on the Pet Hair Eraser. I seen a fair amount of complaints about battery life, but Since I only use this on my sectional and stairs on a nearly daily bases since I got it, I have not ran out of battery power in the middle of a clean. I just alternate the days I do each one. I have never used the item for more than 10 mins so I have yet to actually witness the battery power go low enough to stop working. Above all, it works pretty well at getting the pet hair off of the furniture and high traffic carpeting. It is fairly each to clean and comes with a couple of useful attachments. My main reason for buying this one is because of the rotating brush attachment. For a handheld that runs off battery, the suction is above expectation. The only tips I would give is to make sure to NOT leave it pulled it once it is charged up if you are not a nearly daily user of it. Supposedly leaving it connected to it's charger plug could wear out the re-chargeable battery quicker. Also, clean it out completely once a week if your a near daily user or if you pet(s) shed a lot. This will help keep the vacuum working like new and avoid and sudden issues with suction or the rotation brush unable to turn. Doesn't take long to clean it out. If you have pets… get this hand held vacuum. Not a pad product at all.

I thought getting a Hoover vacuum would be be a great buy, I always bought more expensive $350 ) vacuums. Not sure if this had been previously returned, but the start button is very hard to push; I have to actually stick my nail in it or a handle of a wooden spoon. The pet accessory does stall if you push too hard and the hose doesn’t suction at all if you don’t lift the vacuum off of the carpet first. There’s no brush accessory for lamp shades and the like. The thing that comes with it is rubber (probably for pet hair and works well) but it comes off too easily. The button for the waste is too sensitive (almost opened before I got to the garbage) and too low. And I can’t find a stair handle? I use the waste bin handle and that seems like it would eventually break. The suction is very good but I feel that all new vacuums have very good suction at first.Swivel
I now see all of the high reviews were part of a promotion. We bought this vacuum yesterday and I've already decided to return it. It's insanely heavy and not at all stair friendly. the attachments are pretty useless unless you're holding them at exactly the right angle. The "15 feet of cleaning" from the hose is more like 4 feet before the machine tips over. PLUS when you engage the hose, the base doesn't "stop" so it's basically cleaning while you're trying to use the hose and it blows dirt and debris everywhere out of the hole. When I contacted Hoover they just asked me to send proof of purchase and they'd get back to me in a week lol. I'm heading to walmart in the morning to return it. Overall the only good thing about this vacuum is the base's suction. nothing else.Addie
I received this Hoover WindTunnel High Performance Pet Upright from BzzAgent for my honest review. This Hoover vacuum was extremely easy to put together. I will mention if you have long nails you may have issues with the power button, but once I figured it out I was able to turn it on with zero issues. This vac offers a setting for hard floors to low to high carpet. This is a perfect feature for myself since I have vinyl plank flooring, rugs and carpet in my home. This vacuum did a beautiful job picking up dust and pet fur from my vinyl floors. The real test however was when I used it on my carpets and rugs. Need I said holy suction it did not disappoint. I've been using my Shark upright but I noticed right away the significant difference in suction power in this Hoover WindTunnel. No more having to use my pet lint hair roller multiple times before I vacuum. This Hoover WindTunnel did the job picking up hair, crumbs the kids dropped and all other debris. In comparison to the vacuum I have used I would say his Hoover performs exceptionally well. I love that this pet Hoover WindTunnel includes the pet attachments for furniture. It's easy to use for hard to reach areas such as ceiling and is great on stairs. I would absolutely purchase this Hoover WindTunnel Pet Upright for my home cleaning needs. I bought this to clean up kitty litter my cat tracks everywhere. I had been using a Dirt Devil (similar small vacuum) but as not pleased with its performance. So far, I prefer this one. This little guy is super awesome and makes clean up super fast and easy, just what I was looking for as with having osteoarthritis I can't always sweep my wood floors, this even vacuums small rugs in the bathroom that are thick and shaggy. I am super happy. Only issue is the head rolls around while using I guess to get every direction but it's easy to maneuver.ramgar17

My developmentally disabled adult daughter asked Santa for this vacuum for Christmas, she liked that Bissell helps take care of dogs if you get their products. I finally found one in stock at a store 1 hour from our home and made the drive to make the purchase of what appeared to be a vacuum in a factory sealed box to fulfill her Santa wish list. Our daughter opened this gift Christmas morning to find the filter was broken, also the crevice tool and charger were not included in the box. There was not any paper work either like a booklet or warranty info. This leading to a full meltdown of tears. My daughter is devastated as she is sure the dogs will not be taken care of now because I have to take the vacuum back. In hoping this is a one off I will return this Monday afternoon and reorder another one hoping to fulfill her Santa wish list and recapture the joy she had when she first unwrapped the vacuum.Catherine
To say that I was blown away is not enough to describe how amazing this little vacuum is. Both my husband and I are disabled and are having a hard time using my regular heavy vacuum, so when I was offered a chance to try this beauty out I was thrilled. Being a multiple cat home the battle between us and the car hair is a hard won right but the Cleanview changed the whole way we go about it now. The attachments are made specifically to catch pet hair and when I say it does it job I mean it. We tested the Cleanview against our regular vacuum by vacuuming first then going back over the carpet again with the Cleanview and it surprised me how much more it picked up. My only negative was the canister size. I wish it was a bit bigger. Because of how lightweight and powerful it is I have already bought one for my elderly parents. With it also being cordless I won't have to worry about any of us getting tangled up in it. I would highly suggest if your looking for a light weight ultra powerful vacuum this one is definitely worth it's weight in gold.
I LOVE this vacuum. We recently moved into a new house and my bulky 8 year old corded Dyson was difficult to use in the layout of our new place because of furniture and outlet locations, and it found my new Ruggables very challenging. So I decided to take the plunge and give a cordless a try. I had already owned a Bissell dust buster and I loved it, so I went with this Bissell vacuum and I'm so glad I did! It seems to handle my living space just fine on one charge (living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 hallways, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms). My laundry room off the kitchen is too small to actually have it hang on the wall because of our tankless water heater, so I just lean it against the wall. I had a little trouble with this until I put a rug underneath to stop it from rolling forward since it can't lock standing up (which is just about my only real criticism of it). This vacuum handles my Ruggables just fine, one with the thicker pad and one with the thinner pad. In fact I can use it on the lower power setting on the Ruggables. I also love how quiet this vacuum is. I would often use earplugs with my Dyson because it seemed so loud to me. No problems with this one! I do find it a little cumbersome to use as a dust buster, so I usually stick to my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser instead if I need it. The only other thing I don't like about this vacuum is removing the filter to dump the cannister. It's difficult to pull out, so I end up having to pull harder than I want to and it just pops out and often dust goes all around my trash can when that happens. Still, I love this vacuum. I love how quiet it is and I never knew what I was missing with the headlights! They're awesome!April

Long time Bissell vac buyer and user. I usually buy on the cheaper end, and realize that they won't last as long or do as good a job as a higher end model. This one was no exception unfortunately. Start with the positive. Does a decent job on hardwood. 7.5 out of 10 for that. Light weight, swivel head works nicely. If u fully charge it the battery lasts long enough to do the entire house (and my house is larger than average). Picks up pet/human hair well even if you don't see it. Now the negative, which unfortunately is a longer list. The human hair it picks up well is difficult to get out of the brush. I used scissors for 15 minutes. The head is very small (8 inches), so more passes. Flat carpet and rugs do not clean well with this vac. I have to go over the same spot at least 5 times. Vac is not meant for bigger jobs. Cat litter falls back out when I lift it up to put away. The bin is very small. Suction for thin carpet 5 of 10 at best. Has to be changed after each room. It has a feature to be shut down if it catches a thread/snag. That's fine but a small ruffle in a rug will sometimes also make it shut off. I realize this is not a $400 vac, and meant for smaller jobs. But at $100 I expected something that did a little better work. They have bigger models with larger heads for 40-50 more. Might be the way to go if you aren't looking for a small job vac. Finally, the handheld vac doesn't have that great of suction, with or without the add-ons. I would'nt recommend this unless your house stays pretty tidy most of the time, but I have kids and pets.Timothy
I love this vacuum because it’s tiny I keep it in the corner of my kitchen and suck up the crumbs with easy after every meal. Also I love to take the detachable mini vacuum off to clean my car from the kid crumbs too. Clean up after a messy project pull off the hand held. It won’t replace your regular vacuum for deep cleaning your carpets. But for keeping the house clean in between this thing is excellent it makes it basically effortless. I dislike three features. (1) The old attachments from Bissell no longer fit. What a waste. (2) The brush attachment is designed with a swivel head. That's a great idea but the problem is that the brush head swivels as you're vacuuming – when you want it to stay in place. A design issue. (3) Finally, there's no base for charging (like for the older models). You'd have to squat down to insert the connector from the plug. It's okay for younger folks but harder for older folks.JC
