This product is great. It puts the Shark steam cleaner to shame. Its very powerful and last quite a long time on just a cup of water. It will give you about 15-20 minutes of continuous usage. However, if you press the trigger sporadically, it can last about 30-45 minutes. The steam blast is loud and packs a punch. I use this thing to clean and sanitize everything from my bathroom to the kitchen (always sanitize the nozzle with bleach or alcohol after use to avoid cross contamination). Another great feature is all the attachments it comes with so you can steam clean almost anything. My only issue is the quality of some of the attachment. The small brushes and scrub pads aren't really reusable. After the first usage, they start to fall apart, especially the scrub pads which are excellent for cleaning your tub and tile. You can buy more attachments online, but its kind expensive costing 10 for 5. One reason I switched to steam cleaning was to save money on cleaning solutions, but if I have to constantly buy the attachments, eventually it will work out to cost more than the cleaning solutions. But I recently used the steamer to clean this very disgusting fridge in the apartment Im renting. I bought this tool to clean 1/2 grout tile floor grout. It worked great for the first 10 minutes, and it would great for the process, except it is not designed properly. I has a special small nozzle head, upon which small brush attachments are placed. There are three pieces, brush, nozzle, and nozzle attachment (to hook to hose or hose extension). The nozzle is made of thermoplastic, like the rest of the unit, except the pressure chamber cap, which is brass. The nozzle needed to be made of brass as well. The thermoplastic heats up, and a threaded piece (with o-ring) when at temperature cannot handle GENTLE scrubbing with the brush. (e.g. for the purpose it is made.) The nozzle fitting jumps the threads every time, once it heats up. So the unit is only good to use for about 10 minutes, before the nozzle gets soft from heat, and falls off constantly. If they made the nozzle out of brass, and the end piece (nozzle attach) out of metal, it would work great. But they didn't, so it is pure frustration to CONSTANTLY put the nozzle on again, and again, and again. This gets 1 star. It works great for 10 minutes, then its useless. If used with the larger attachments, it would probably be a great value; but I need it to clean grout. It says it cleans grout, but it really doesn't.MesaGuy
I've only used the MC1275 once to clean shower floor tile grout using the scrub pad attachment. I filled the steam chamber one time with distilled water, and the steam was ready in approximately 5 minutes. It was easy to control, but did a marginal job restoring the whiteness of the grout. The scrub pad itself came loose and separated completely from its plastic base in under 10 minutes. While the steamer worked as advertised, steaming cleaning the grout didn't live up to my expectations, and the scrub pad's durability was a major disappointment. The good – it produced steam reliably; control is easy to maintain. I am amazed at how effective this machine is at cleaning up even very old pet stains from carpet and mattress topper. I have two chihuahuas that occasionally barf on the bed or my carpeted bedroom floor, and sometimes they will pee too on the carpeting. I of course blot up as much as possible when this occurs but it was still gross. Not bad enough that it stank to high heaven or anything but the beige carpet looked gross with lots of little spots and definitely needed a freshening. I couldn't believe how immediately this machine removes the pee and barf stains!! Even ones that were really old, even got old bile stains out of a white mattress topper-quickly and easily. When I first got the Little Green I used it primarily for cleaning spots on area rugs. It worked well, but always leaked every single time I used it. The suction is pretty weak for a carpet cleaner…I have even done a thorough clean of all the tubes and nozzle to make sure it was 100% clean without any blockage. After not using it for 6 months (and misplacing the water nozzle and suction brush during a move) I replaced both items through the Bissell site. I once again made sure all compartments were clean in the machine before use. Now when I use the machine the dirty water excessively leaks from the bottom (or some area at the bottom of the machine) and the leakage has gotten EXTREMELY worse. I ended up having to place the machine on a heavy duty trash bag on top of a high absorbent mat. When I use the suction, there are LITERAL BUBBLES coming from the bottom of the machine. NOTHING is going into the dirty water tank. Before anyone asks, yes the suction top on the dirty water container is closed and all items are in the proper place. So moral of the story is that instead of having dirty water in the designated tank, it is now pooling in the trash bag. After tonight I will NOT be using this product ever again. So, since receiving my Little Green Portable Carpet Cleaner, I've been busy! It cleaned my stained, oversized ottoman. We've had that ottoman since before My grandson was born; it's a family favorite. Car seat stains from transporting grand babies and teenage grandson were especially bad in the passenger and back seats of our two cars. Some stains were bad enough to need a second treatment but that's ok! Those stains are now completely gone and we've saved hundreds over having the car carpets and seats professionally cleaned. One of my favorite things Ive ever bought. Its so easy to use. I absolutely love it. I love that I can use my own cloths on it instead of purchasing the expensive pads. It does come with 3. My only complaints are I wish the hose detached and it would be nice if there was a safety switch so I could lock the trigger so my 2 year old cant mess with it. I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. We are an older, retired couple who absolutely LOVE our Bissell Spot Clean carpet and upholstery scrubber. For us it's a life saver in the figurative sense. It was well worth every penny we paid for it and it paid for itself the 2nd time we used it. When we bought our home going on Nov. 29, 2011 there was a huge black stain about the circumference of a scrub pail in our master bedroom carpeting that looked like oil. We have no idea how long the stain had been in the carpeting or exactly what the stain was from. We tried a spray on carpet cleaner that allegedly removes stains to no avail. It didn't phase the stain, it didn't even lighten the stain. My husband used our new Bissell Spot Clean scrubber on the stain on Sept. 17, 2013. He didn't use any elbow grease and he only spent about 1 minute scrubbing the stain. Oh my gosh, a miracle has occurred, THE STAIN IS COMPLETELY GONE and our carpet looks like new, literally. We're both completely astounded because we thought we'd have to replace our bedroom carpeting to get rid of the stain. There were several other set-in stains in the carpet: red juice and coffee. The Spot Clean scrubber took those set-in stains completely OUT of the carpet as well. We clean both of our living room sofas and the loveseat once a week with the Bissell Spot Clean scrubber. It got rid of set-in stains from them as well as easily as if they just happened. Prior to buying our Bissell Spot Clean portable scrubber, we priced the cost to RENT a carpet / upholstery scrubber in our local stores because our sofas had a horrible odor. The cost of renting a scrubber for 36 hours was $40, then with the cost of buying the necessary detergent and a bottle of the deodorizer, we would have spent about $80 total not including sales tax. We figured we would be financially better off to BUY a portable scrubber for a little more than the cost of renting. When we read the reviews on many brands of portable upholstery scrubbers, we chose the Bissell Spot Clean which was one of the smartest decisions that we ever made. We own a 3 year old Morkie and a 2 year old Yorkie who are sometimes covered with dirt, mud and dust, who lay on the back of the sofas & loveseat so they can look out our living room windows. Got this cleaner on Black Friday at Target for approx. half price – thought I was getting a great buy! However, I've been quite disappointed in this unit's performance. Our household has a cat that poops on the rug every day, which means I clean up whatever spot the cat picks on a daily basis. We've gone thru 5 or 6 Bissell cleaners over the years, and it it rare that any of them have remained fully functional after 12 months of daily use. However, we have had this one only 2 weeks, and it's already broke! My observations: * Hose cracked and spraying waste fluids when machine is on. * Soap and waste water tanks smaller than on previous generation "Green Machines" we have owned. /used * Title is misleading: "ProHeat" simply means you can use warm water to fill the soap tank. The machine does NOT heat the soap solution. * Sprayer on applicator nozzle only dribbles soap solution, rather than evenly spaying the soap solution over the dirty area. Overall evaluation: POOR. I'm not at all happy with this purchase. This one is going back to Bissell, and I hope I get a Simple Green back in return – at least those seem to last a few months before the pumps break.
Originally I did think this would be a great product. Although the Bissell vacuum I purchased was also weak. This Bissell pet portable pro heat cleaner was purchased to clean a small carpet and couch. It did a fair job on the carpet at first. The second time I used it there was water leaking and the sprayer started to drip not spray. I was careful when cleaning it, each time it was emptied. As others have said it doesn't actually heat the water, you just add hot water to the tank. The sample bottles of Bissell cleaner and oxy boost were nice to try, the regular size were priced high I thought. I wouldn't recommend this product. Disappointed that this was a waste of money. Disappointed of time it took to re-clean the area where dirty water leaked out. I looked up how to fix it but it needs to go to a Bissell repair store, not convenient. Please save your money,Sunshine

I also like the fact that it is an American made product. The warranty is also a great selling feature. Highly recommend. Update: We have had an incredible amount of rain and our "dog" room was a muddy mess. We have tile and it was covered with dried red clay mud. Had a pest problem. Vapamore cleaned any remaining boric acid I had in carpet. Never again will I use boric acid. It is difficult to remove and can poison you after you think you have vacuumed it up but not all comes up even after several vacuums. Vapamore also disinfected mattress, couch, loveseat, chairs, kitchen floor, pillows, drapes, etc. Easy to maneuver the unit due to its compact size and wheels. The main arm has two easily detachable sections which elongate or shorten the sprayer to varied lengths for ease of use. The back of the unit has storage for the smaller attachments. Be careful this storage space doesn't open up while you are emptying remaining water from the unit as you could lose a few small parts down the drain. Important to read all the safety info prior to first use so you don't make a bad mistake which invalidates the warranty. Limited lifetime warranty looks pretty good. I can see myself purchasing an additional floor mop cloth at some point in the future. This cloth is easy to remove and toss in the laundry. It can get dirty quickly if you do not do your standard vacuuming of carpet prior to steam disinfection. The hot steam dried quickly from upholstery. Nothing was left sopping wet. I also have a wish list… a smaller microfiber piece with smaller microfiber pads for sinks, bathtub etc. and/or a larger sponge and a carpet attachment. I purposely let my sinks get extremely dirty to see how long it would take me to clean them. The bathroom sink took 3 minutes and the kitchen took 5. I steam mopped my kitchen (laminate floor), used one of the small brush attachments to clean my George Foreman grill, the inside of the oven door, and all around the kitchen faucet. Everything came off so effortlessly; I cannot believe I waited this long to buy a steam cleaner. The main reason I pruchased your product was to try steam cleaning one or the cushions on my couch, where we had an unfortunate vomit accident a couple weeks ago. Haven’t owned this long yet but it’s great for my needs. Paid full price, which was more than comparable models, but took a chance since the reviews were good. I have a two bedroom place, so it would be easy to clean everything on about two tanks. I usually just do one room at a time. Works great on floors, walls, and ceilings. (Be careful of outlets, fixtures and fans). The extensions make it easy to reach the 8 foot ceilings in the high part of the half arch entryway. Operation is really easy, cleaning the mop pads is easy, and the website has replacements available if they get worn out over time. All you need is 20 minutes and some distilled water to get started. If it breaks and can’t be repaired within the next 10 years or so I wouldn’t purchase again because I hate wasteful appliances, but otherwise it’s just what I was looking for.Barista dude

I purchased the steamer to clean grout. It had no effect on the grout. Totally useless. The little brush attachment was destroyed after one room of grout treatment. The wire brush held up, but did not clean the grout either. The steam tube and handle became very hot at one point. I had to stop work to let it cool for awhile. The extension wands seem a little weak for their purpose. The steam mop was nice, made the tile floors look very good. The effect in the shower was good, made a good impression there. No funnel, have to take water to tank, it burps up if dont pour very slowly. it takes a long time to heat up, really slows you down in middle of project. it quita with no notice them u start refill process again. there are no cleaning covers to absorb dirt. I called Mcculloch, they were very nice but told me this unit is not for upholstry, furniture, etc, it was for hard services, grills etc. it did ok job on my inside project but tried to clean grill with steam then the wire brush with steam, it did not clean grill tho steam was strong. Attachments connection is cheap and comes off easily i was nearly burned. I read a lot of consumer reports before buying this, it doesnt do what i need. The cord can be a problem simply because you have to be near an outlet all the time. The unit is not super steady and balanced, so it sometimes tipped over or tilted forward like it was going to fall. There was no way to tell how much water had been used up or when it was empty until it just stopped producing steam and then you'd have to wait several minutes before you could water in it again, so that was a little annoying. This is not much bigger than dollhouse furniture if you ask me. I bought this months ago and if I had actually taken it out to use it before now, I would have returned it. I had no idea the parts were this small! Good for cleaning very very small spaces! Couldn't handle the laundry area at all. Only good for maybe a sink. Not to mention almost gave my self third degree burns 10 minutes after letting it cool off. The top says 5 minutes. I normally love Bissell products but this one I am extremely disappointed with!Jessica38

Basically super heats the greasy material to make it easy to wipe or scrub off and loosen dirt and grime build up. I still chose to complete the task using a mild cleaner but it definitely made it easier and reduce the total cleaning time. We will see how the seals and plastic parts last over time but it seems solid and I'm a mechanical engineer who has designed plastic and metal parts my whole career. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is cumbersome to use at times having to hold the tank in one hand depressing the steam button while scrubbing with the hose end in your other hand, then putting that end down to clean up the residue. A trigger built into the hose end that the attachments connect to would be a game changer freeing up the other hand.

Very disappointed with this item. It does clean cat messes but not dirt from carpet. Also, what is in the box is not what is pictured on the front of the box. The brush attachment shown is black with a clear front adn 3 rows of red bristles, actual attachment is all clear and has only ONE row of bristles. The attachment is also supposd to have a button to release if from the hose. There is NO button! You cannot remove it unless you pry it off with a screwdriver! The box shows a button and the instructions also show a button. You are supoosed to remove the attachment & hook the hose to the machine to run water through but you can't take the attachment off so you can't clean it. Using a screwdriver to pry it is going the break the cheap plastic attachment. I did try to contact Hoover but the bot said it was too busy and booted me off. Love this wet vac! We just got a new puppy and the only handheld wet vacs like the discontinued Bissell we had in the past are impossible toclean. They don’t come apart like they need to. This Hoover is bigger, but just as portable and does a MUCH better job than the handhelds. It was super easy to set up, and I can’t believe how easy it is to clean after use. The hose cleaning feature is phenomenal and is one of the main reasons I got this over the Bissell Little Green Machine. Well worth the investment to keep my carpets clean while puppy learns how to comply with socially acceptable bathroom norms. I have owned this unit for 5 years after previously owning a Bissel Little Green Machine (the Bissel nosel stopped spraying after a couple years, and unit would constantly leak). About a year ago I noticed it was getting more difficult to place the handle back in the holder (the hose did not stretch as far as it used to). I didn't think much of it, but then. Few months ago I noticed that the hose tore near the sprayer. I loved using this machine, therefore I wanted to try fixing it without having to buy another one. I used hockey tape and that seemed to do the trick. Then about a month ago, I noticed that the hose has also torn right at the base (I am unable to fix this with tape unfortunately). I wrote Hoover about this, however, I am far out of warranty, so there isn't really much they can do. Now I'm trying to decide if I should buy another one or try something new. I noticed another customer also had the same problem with the hose tearing, so obviously my issue is not isolated.Kryss

Bought this on Saturday as I have a new dog that has had a few accidents in the house, on the carpet of course! I was shocked at how quiet this machine is, no need for ear protection to use this. Has great suction power and leaves very little moisture behind, carpet dried completely in about 2 hours. Easy to clean when finished. Love the hose cleaning attachment. I added white vinegar to the final rinse when cleaning out the machine. Machine keeps the solution warm while working. Easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to clean and put away. The engineers did a great job designing this machine. Can't go wrong with a Bissell!
Works pretty decent but the heating element seems a little weak, needs an option to just heat w/o running the vacuum so you're not stuck listening to it while it warms. Would have been nice if it came w/a small separate brush for tight spaces. Suction could be a little better but overall not bad. The hose needs to be an inch longer, it's a stretch to get the head to wrap around and mount in it's holder. Did a pretty good job, although required a bunch of passes, cleaning old dirty seats in an old project car. I legit thought they were gray for the last 2.5 yrs I've owned it…
I have used this to clean wine stains and dog potty accidents. This is excellent at cleaning wine stains but I did not feel like it really penetrated down to the urine stain left by my dog. I even used the PET PRO OXY Spot & Stain Formula for Portable Carpet Cleaners and still noticed a faint urine stain afterward. I had to use a different product altogether to clean this. I am disappointed as the dog messes are the primary reason I purchased this product. Otherwise, this is easy to use and easy to clean.

The LittleGreen ProHeat deep cleaner was recommended to me by my mom for getting those little messes out of carpets and rugs. I got mine in March of this year and it was doing its job, other than a brush popping off the end of one of the hose attachments (an easy enough fix with some glue). I was happily using the machine about once a week just to touch up around the house, with the occasional bigger spot that needed a couple of tries to come all the way clean. Then, about three weeks ago, I was a little confused about why the dirty water tank didn't seem to be getting fuller. On closer inspection, I found that the hose had developed a sizable hole in one of the creases. The machine is outside of Target's return period and Bissell customer service has been completely unresponsive. For an item I got just a few months ago that is being used regularly, but not heavily, this is an unfortunate turn from being a product I liked to one that I simply cannot recommend.Lane
I purchased online & hoped to do curbside pickup. My local store didn’t have it on hand but shipping looked like it would only take a day or two so I opted to have it shipped. We’ll about 4 hours later (maybe less) it was delivered to my front door. I absolutely couldn’t believe it. What amazing service. My first trial run of the unit was on a bench. I very briefly pre-treated the surface. Then I followed the instructions to spray while scrubbing. I didn’t put a lot of time or huge effort into it. The results are really great and I’m sure they would be even better if I let the pre-treatment soak for longer than 2 minutes. After I cleaned my bench, I could not believe how filthy the water that I suctioned from the bench was. I will be using and loving this little machine a lot!!! It was really easy to assemble and get started. I think I’ll get better at judging how to pre-treat stains and how to scrub. But for a first try using it & doing with almost no effort. I Would Return This If I Could. I Started Out Good, Cleaning My Car Seat, A Spill On My Couch Etc. It Works Ok, But What I Did Not Expect Was That I Needed To Push A Lot Harder Than Expected. This Is Not A Machine That Does The Work For You. You Do All The Work, And The Handles Feel Really Flimsy. The Hose Is Also Made Of Hard Plastic. There Is No Wiggle To It. The Hose Is Also Incredibly Short, Which I Had Read But Wanted To See If It Was A Big Deal. It Is. It Also Leaks From The Bottom, So If One Is To Use This In The Car, You Either Put It In The Car, With Something Underneath, Or You Put It On A Stool Or Something Near You. Because The Hose Is Short, Both Of These Are Risky, Meaning The Bissell Could Fall Over, Get Knocked Off Etc. Not Fun When You're Trying To Clean Something And it's Already Taking Alot Of Work. So Many Negatives, I Would Not Purchase Again. The Hard Plastic Hose Tore, And I Have Only Used This Bissell A Handful Of Times. Maybe 5, And For Mostly Small Things. Not Fun. My favourite use of the unit is for washing walls and washing/sanitizing floors. I like the two levels of steam as well as the nozzle that concentrates steam for really powerful cleaning of crevices and corners. The case is streamlined and controls are visible and accessible. It’s very helpful to be able to add water without having to cool/depressurize the unit. Some of the accessories are more useful than others to me. The window/squeegee tool is messy to use and i was unable to get the small tools to attach to the concentrator tip. Overall the unit fulfills the need I have for itGrammaE
Very pleased with the unit. I love how easy it is to use and that it doesn't require any chemicals just water that I can keep adding as I go without needing to stop the unit. The jet nozzle did an amazing job cleaning the grout between small tiles in both the bathroom and front entrance. I also like that it came with multiple small brush attachments so that I can have one designated for the bathroom. It did a great job on both tiled and hardwood floors, including tough stains. I didn't even need to go to the higher setting, just let it sit on top for a few seconds and then it came right up.
