Best Sweeper For Tile Floors (2025 Update)

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

Just bought myself an early Christmas present, the crosswave pro pet multi surface vac/mop. Really amazing how it cleans up, you see/feel/smell the difference instantly. I have health issues so sweeping/mopping is a challenge for me and i needed an easy option that worked. I have multiple cats and this is amazing with cat fur/dried up hairballs/cat litter etc, the fact that it separates all the icky stuff from the clean water makes the biggest difference…you will be in shock how much gets ckeaned up. Now this beautiful household tool needs care in between using it but i like the finished product so much i don't mind the clean up after and still easier then sweeping and mopping with way better results, plus i just put it up on my counter for easy access for the clean up. Tips: 1) don't use with a wet filter, always put a dry filter in. 2) get a baby tooth brush to get in small crevasse. 3) sweep out corners or hard to reach spots into where it can be vacuumed because this machine cant get to them. 4) i didn't get cordless because i don't want to deal with future batterie issues (not saying it happens but more likely then a cord) put top of cord on hook as you vacuum, easier to control cord dosen't get in your way. 5) clean spray holes if needed with paper clip. 6) make sure if you are dumping dirty water or cleaning off in the sink you have a drajn catcher because pet fur and gunk gets everywhere, you'll see as you are clean everything off and dumping water out, don'twant that going down your drain. 7) go slow when spraying the water, give wet vac mop a chance to do its thing. 8) make sure everything is dry b4 you put back together so no mold or smells start to happen. Like i mentioned, if you take care of this it will continue to take care of your floors and rugs. Ps: Not paid to write this, just a regular human. I paid for my crosswave and i really love it. No love is as great as the first, as they say. I bought this last year but after taking it to a friends house and power washing and vacuuming their entire 2 bedroom apartment for 5 hours straight for 2 days in a row, i think i mightve found the breaking point of this product… Haha, so after it wouldnt turn on, i returned it. I ended up going through 3 other new vacuums and returned them all, only to repurchase this as the 5th one. As i mentioned in the previous review for the Bissell Proheat Duo Pet vacuum, this one here was the absolute perfect size for a 5'3 girl living in a small apt. Its great in smler spaces and even if the suction is not as powerful as the Proheat Duo vacuum, this one does a good enough job for the size and its ease of use cant be beat. Cleaning it is suuuuuuper easy, refilling the water is super easy, and all i gotta do is just press a maximum of 2 buttons. (Meanwhile the pro heat duo has me feeling like an airplane technician, after having to take out a bunch components to clean it which was NOT easy and having so many buttons!!!) Im a bit OCD with vacuuming my carpet all the time (every day) and im always very pleased with the carpet cleaning after i wash it. Overall its been the best model i have found for a Wet/Dry vacuum so i highly recommend if its for a 1 bedroom apt. My only gripes are that this is not easy to push!!! Also wish it could suction better when going BACKWARDS because it only suctions good moving forward but not if i pass over it backwards and if the suction would be stronger too. Seriously, I couldn't wait to use this thing. I didn't wait for it to charge fully when I got it home, but it still lasted long enough for me to do my entire entryway, alcove, half bath, kitchen, master bath, and walk-in closet. My home isn't enormous, but it's not small either. I didn't time how long it took, but I wasn't rushing…. I have 2 dogs and this thing is going to be a lifesaver! I have a chronic illness, work full-time, and have 2 teenagers, so pulling out the broom and dustpan constantly just wasn't in the cards. I was getting so tired of the tumbleweeds of fur (they pile up after like 3 days) that I contemplated getting rid of my hard floors. But this saved me from that! I can't speak for longevity, because I just bought it tonight… But even if it only lasts a couple years, the $40 was worth it for me. I mean, one meal for my family costs more than that these days.Angela

I’ve used these vacs for 8 yrs, they last a good 2 years before battery life begins to diminish. New location of power button makes it easy to turn off by accident and Yes! I agree battery time could last a little longer, Mine is a solid 15 minutes of vacuum time.I use two vacs to do my whole house when I want to take my time under furniture. I gave it 5 stars because where can you find a vacuum that dusts the floor at the same time. I have used my regular vacuum on floor settings and while it does pick up loose dirt/hair it still leaves the dust and dirt on floor and unfortunately will scratch my floor as well. I have beautiful dark hardwood floors and a dog, a swifter without the vac just pushes hair and larger size debris around. This vacuum makes my life so much more easy, even with its flaws I LOVE IT!!! Tip for cleaning: dump loose dirt in trash and use toothbrush to clean filter or reg vacuum house to clean it, your filter and suction power will perform at peak level longer.Mindy

Love this lightweight broom vac! This is the second one i've owned and was difficult to find as Swiffer has discontinued them. It picks up dust, dirt, crumbs and most importantly dog hair! So much easier than sweeping and picking up with a dust pan as it is a vacuum with a bag less container. It also uses a dust cloth as well that traps and picks up hair and small particles the vac may miss. I'be ordered a second one to put up in the garage and save until the day comes that i'll need to replace the current one. Definitely recommend this item to replace a broom and dustpan!HOLLY

This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. For $99 it is not worth it. This should be a $39 dollar machine tops.Cutlass275

This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

Having never used a wet vac like this before, all I can say is WOW! I admit, I was a skeptic. We regularly clean our hard floors so I really didn't expect to see any great results. That all went away after the first use. Great product. It makes scrubbing the floors a piece of cake. Starting with the overall looks. It's a really sleek machine. It's not bulky at all and allows you to get into the same places you would be able to with a normal stick vac. The white color is refreshing and adds to it's nice clean look. The charging base is as small as it can be, but even so, some might find it's footprint a bit large. But when you consider the self cleaning feature it offers, it's easy to overlook the size. The handle is very comfortable and the buttons are placed in good locations. All the indications and icons are displayed on the top of the clean water tank in easy view. They light as needed and let you know what you need to know about the state of your machine. To use the machine, you fill the clean water tank and add a cap of the included floor cleaner. When you turn the machine on, it automatically dispenses the water solution and starts the roller spinning. At the same time, it also starts the vacuum, so you basically vacuum up the water before it even soaks your floors. After using it on our laminate wood flooring in the kitchen, I just noticed a sheen after it vacuumed the water up. It was dry in about 30 seconds. If you've ever used a stick mop with a trigger spray feature, they left about the same amount of moisture. The difference was, the water that was collected in the dirty water tank was, well pretty dirty. There are two settings, a standard speed and a max speed. I tried them both but had very good luck with the standard speed so that's generally what I use. Overall, it's pretty quiet. No loud whiny beater bar, just the soft roller on the floor. The battery lasts long enough to clean our entire kitchen, hallway and front entrance area without any issues, and have power to spare. This package comes with an additional roller and HEPA filter. At first I thought they were just “extra” but the idea is, you have one set that's dry, and the set that you use to clean, so you just keep swapping them out. The roller assembly is extremely easy to remove and replace. Like both of the water tanks, it has a snap in place, spring loaded latch. The roller pretty much just pulls right out. The filter is just as easy to replace. Emptying the dirty water tank was as easy as pouring it in the sink and rinsing out any dirt left behind. To use the self clean feature, just fill the clean water tank with fresh water, make sure the dirty water tank is in place and run the cycle with the touch of a button. The package also comes with a brush tool for cleaning out the tanks, and it includes a roller hair/string removal tool. After cleaning the floors I have to say, they really felt clean. No residue or stickiness was left behind. This is a quality machine that has been very well engineered. Cordless operation, excellent battery life, self cleaning mode, easy access to the roller and removal of the water tanks. It all adds up to a great floor cleaning experience. A few years ago, we got a cordless stick vacuum for our house. We love using it in-between our robot vacuum sweeps but we still end up having to mop the kitchen floor which is linoleum. Since we’re always looking for ways to make tasks more efficient, this wet/dry vacuum seemed like a good option for our family. When you pull the vacuum out of its box, make sure to look through all the packaging because there are additional parts included and I almost threw out the extra dry filter because it was tucked away inside some cardboard. Even though assembly is required, it’s very minimal. You have to attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum, plug the base into power, and then set the unit on the stand. Once the battery is charged, you can start using it. According to the manual, these are the steps you have to take for operation. Prepare for use – includes charging the vacuum for about four hours Press the power button to start the vacuum. It’s in ECO mode by default. There is a “MAXIECO” button that switches between the MAX and ECO modes. Before using the WET function of the vacuum, fill the clean water tank and add one bottle cap of the solution. The vacuum does come with a lot of parts, but some of them are duplicates so that you have your first replacement roller and filter with the original purchase. I always like it when companies provide that first part replacement. As far as operation goes, the vacuum is fairly simple. You press the power button and it turns on. If there the cleaning solution is in the clean water tank, the vacuum will both mop and vacuum simultaneously. If the water tank is empty, the vacuum will still run, but obviously will not provide the mopping function. The roller will still spin, however, so you do get a bit of a deeper dry cleaning than without it. There are two functions that I want to point out – one that I like and one that I don’t. The first is the fact that you don’t have the option to select wet or dry. You have to use both. The only way that I’ve found to vacuum only is to leave the clean water tank empty. The problem there is that you end up with blinking lights on the display, which can get annoying. The function I LOVE is that the vacuum is self-propelled. I was shocked when I turned it on for the first time and the vacuum nearly zoomed out of my grip. I just wasn’t expecting that much power from a cordless vacuum. I haven’t run into a battery problem yet. The manual states that on ECO mode the vacuum should run for 25 minutes. I haven’t had a single cleaning session last that long yet so I don’t know the ‘real’ life of the battery. The battery did have some charge out of the box. I did charge it some before using it the first time, but not the full 4-hours. I have been happy with the suction power of the vacuum and the cleaning ability of the mop, however, I did notice that any sticky spots or heavy stains will not be picked up by this vacuum. I ran the vacuum in our kitchen – moving it back and forth several times on each section of the floor. I noticed that the floor did appear shiny and wet so I know the mopping function was cycling the cleaning solution onto the floor. The floor did dry quickly I did think that it felt a lot cleaner than before I used the vacuum. I did have a couple of spots where something had been spilled and left to dry that the vacuum did not clean up. That said, a couple of lighter stains were removed if I left the vacuum sitting on top of it so that the roller brush could concentrate on that spot. I like the features of this vacuum and its ease of use, but I do wish there were a couple of things added on (a dry/wet option, a heavy stain cleaning option, etc.). I love that a base plate is included because that gives the vacuum a spot to ‘live’ in as well as keeps the roller off the floor as it dries. All in all, I think this is a nice device. Versatile vacuum makes our 90% laminate floor cleaner that it’s ever been. We used to use those “easy” mops that have replaceable wet pads to mop our floors and they worked better than a mop and bucket but this vacuum makes it a piece of cake! The setup and operations were so simple that I thought I was missing something in the suggestions (instructions) but I wasn’t. I normally am the type of person that can pull new electronics out of the box and start using it without help but I had never used a mop/vacuum combo like this before so I read the suggestions. It is so simple, push the power button. If there is liquid in the clean water tank it will mop and vacuum. If that tank is empty it will vacuum only. When you are done just set it on the base and it charges automatically! The vacuum even cleans the brush by itself! There will be a “water drop” icon that lights up which means it needs to clean the brush. Just set it on the base and press the water drop button once and it cleans the brush for you! I am very impressed with the simplicity, power and convenience of this vacuum/mop. I love the base with self-charging so you never pick it up and find that the battery is dead. The dirty tank is very easy to empty. The unit is lightweight but feels well made. So far, this is a great product!tken106

The item was bought as a gift. The first one arrived and I wrapped it and gave to my mother and when she opened it and took it out of the box, the item had been used. It was dirty and had "trash" in the suction holder. I sent it back and got another one and the suction does not pick up like the video shows. I was very disappointed in this item. I purchased it for my 73 year old mom so she would not have to bend over to sweep the dust/trash into the dust pan. I was really hoping this item would be a happy solution for not bending over but it was not.Dorie

Horribly designed product. A waste of money! I am taking time to give a review. I bought for $30 at local store. Looked great as don't have to bend to sweep. Well, the suction is a little shoot off side of broom very awkwardly placed and it only suctions if you push down really hard on the shoot and suctions only that little dime sized section at a time. IT RUINED MY FLOORING tiles PUTTING AN INDENTED DART INTO IT! THIS IS A HORRIBLY DESIGNED PRODUCT. Positive: the broom sweeps like any $5 broom. DO NOT RECOMMEND! The product can be improved with suction within the actual broom section like a vacuum or finger button to suction at top with a larger suction funnel. Do Not waste your money!kelley

I purchased this out of a need due to physical challenges. The weight is about 1/2 gallon of milk well made materials. Suction is amazing and easy to operate … no need for push down on device to activate the suction … battery life is amazing . The weight of the broom and thickness of the handle give assurance. My whole family is impressed with this product. Having lower back issues some movements are difficult but consistently bending is my pet p ! No more of that and handle is decided no loosing and slim built to put in area of houseware not bunky … there is so much more to say but I will say it is reasonable price and worth every dollar … good job to the designers ☺️gypsirulez

I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49

I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

Easy to use. It's an old-fashioned carpet sweeper and it does the job with no fuss. Not perfect but great for sweep-ups of messes, go over rugs for tracked on stuff and LOTS of cat hair. So much easier than dragging out a heavy vacuum and plugging it in. Lightweight and doesn't take up much storage space at all. We had one Bissell that we had for years until the brushes just got tired and just bought 2 more — one for upstairs and one for downstairs. And Big Lots price is amazing value. Easy pick-up as they brought them to the car!! EXCELLENT!!Barbara

I ♥️ the Bissell Sweep-Up Cordless Sweeper! It arrived quickly, was packaged very well, was simple to put together, and works great! I needed it because my husband works nights and sleeps during the day, so I can't use the noisy vacuum cleaner. This is quiet and the rolling brush picks up lint and crumbs quite nicely. I bought this to help clean up the mess left behind on the carpet late at night after I've been sewing or crafting. Does a great, quiet job of quickly tidying up and especially at getting pieces of thread that otherwise were clogging up the vacuum. My biggest surprise was when I used it in the rest of the house after we ran the vacuum. The amount of pet hair that this picked up was astounding (see photo below) and it was able to get at that hair the vacuum was unable to.Erin

I have tile floors and a rabbit. So I use my sweeper several times a day. I love this sweeper its very quiet but powerful, I love that it has a large dust cup so I dont have to empty several times while sweeping my whole house. It works great on tile but even better on area rugs. the only thing I would like to see is a longer handle, but reguardless, I would definately buy again and again it works better than my crosswave pet pro.Haynethansmom

I use the product to sweep the carpet on my front porch. They no longer have the Sharp that I used for years, so I thought I would try this one. I don't care for the brush roller, as I have to clean it off, and it doesn't have enough bristles on it. I don't care for the skinny handle, and you have to bend down to get it under furniture. The handle doesn't bend like the Sharp model did. I don't care for the "small" container that collects the debris. It doesn't do a good job of keeping the debris contained. The price was about the same as the Sharp. This product is middle of the road. My reason for giving it only 3 stars.Carol

I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney

I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

Almost 200 less than the Cordless Bissell! great that you don't have to sweep your floor before you love your floor with this Little Gem! And how cool that it cleans its own roller when you put it back on its base. I also get more time from mine been a lot here have said the average is around 22 minutes. I get close to 35 minutes. this says that this is the item that I purchased, but what I received was one that was briefly released before it was labeled the new model. I get longer battery life. also if you register your product and provide your email address. They mail you a free roller. Which is very handy to have one drying while the other is in use. The price is great, I don't think you will regret your purchase. and just an FYI for those of you who are complaining about how the cleaning machine leaks. I just about bet you're not using the proper cleaning solution. I tried using something with a friend and it foamed up and leaked all over. Now I only use a floor cleaning solution. I have use Great Value and it works great as well.William

The Tineco iFloor 2 is an awesome cleaner! Unboxing the iFloor 2 was very easy, and it was packed quite well. It arrived with a partial charge and lasted about 10 minutes before I had to charge it. It's worth mentioning that the device didn't lose suction or roller strength at all during this period, and the device just turned off once there wasn't enough charge remaining. So, you can expect full power up until the battery requires a charge. Once fully charged, I was able to clean the entire house with the iFloor 2, and ran for a full 45 minutes. The power indicator was still solid, indicating there was no need to charge yet. It wouldn't surprise me if a full charge could last for a full hour in some instances! We have tile floors in our kitchen and one bathroom, and hardwood floors throughout the house, and linoleum in another bathroom. The iFloor 2 worked beautifully on our tile and hardwood, removing a ton of dirt, hair, and stains that were left behind after using a steaming mop just a few days ago (see picture for gross dirt water!). Regarding the stains in particular, we have tried many scrubbing techniquest through the years but we were never able to remove them from our tile. The iFloor 2 lightened or removed all the stains on our tile! I suspect repeated uses of the device will remove the stains entirely (here's hoping!). For the hardwood, we've never taken the time to mop and instead just vacuum. The iFloor 2 made short work of the dirt on the hardwood, and even removed a layer of dirty film we didn't even know was present. Our hardwood floors have never looked so good! The bathroom linoleum cleaned up easily too with the iFloor 2, and just "feels" cleaner when walking on it than after using a regular mop. Cleaning the iFloor 2 once the job is complete is really easy too. It has a self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the hard work for you by cleaning and rinsing the roller brush. The resulting water is then collected in the dirty water bin for easy emptying. The only concern I have with the device is the charging port. It uses a standard barrel-type plug-in adapter, and it feels a bit loose in the port on the device. It works perfectly for the time being, but I just wonder how it'll hold up over time after repeated connect and disconnect cycles.Angela40

I have very mixed feelings about this machine. Ultimately I think if you’re looking for something quick and easy to clean up small messes, lightly dust, etc. this would work just fine. The suction is decent, and where it did clean, only with both mop and vacuum, it got some little unnoticed spills up and didn’t streak. The machine is quiet, maneuvers and works efficiently, and really feels nice to use. My two main let-downs with this is that it doesn’t seem to be very pet-hair friendly (despite what Tineco claims), and the machine doesn’t get close enough to baseboards/edges. I wanted to see how well the vacuum part worked without adding water/mopping. Not only was it aggravating that the machine seemed to blow air out and thus dog hair away, I couldn’t go more than a couple of passes before the machine would get clogged; I have a short haired dog and my floors weren’t that bad. It did work a bit better when I started using the water though. Next, I’ll have to go around with perimeter of half my house with my normal broom and mop because the gap of untouched floor is THAT noticeable. the closest you can get to a baseboard is roughly 1/2” on one side, and probably a good 1 1/2” on the other. What’s the point in using this thing if I’m going to have to get the big guns out anyways?Ashtan

Great for quick pickups after young children which is sometimes needed a couple times a day. Lightweight and works fine on low pile rugs and carpet, but definitely better on tile and wood floors. Love that it empties quickly easily and cleanly without filters and complicated disassembly needed. I also notice less dust in the air when emptying than i get with more expensive vacuums that have filters, probably because it doesn’t capture those ultra fine dust particles. Reading the other reviews, I hope it lasts. It’s lightweight and kinda fun to use. In fact my 2 year old LOVES to run it, which means they’re occupied doing something positive AND that actually cleans the house. So that a WIN-WIN situation.expokecouponer

I just wanted something that was mote convenient than a broom without being too bulky and expensive. Very easy assembly, just connect the pieces of the handle by pushing them together. Sweeps up everything on the floor and then is easily emptied into the trash can. I am a hairdresser and half of my flooring is carpet so u can imagine the the hair it attracts, a ton of it. I was dragging my heavy vacuum to my shop at least once a week and was trying desperately to find a way to not have to do that anymore and buying a new vacuum for my shop was just to expensive. We had a carpet sweeper when I was growing up. I remember my mom using it a lot, but I didn't appreciate the convenience until I got this one. Although I have a nice upright vacuum, vacuuming is definitely not my favorite chore. It is so nice to grab the sweeper to use in between. It is lightweight and thorough plus very easy to empty. When I vacuum I feel I have to do the whole room. With the sweeper I only do where needed and it looks great.Judz

I bought this sweeper to use between vacuumings. I have 3 cats & 1 very sheddy dog and didn't want to haul out my vacuum every day so I thought this would be a good way to keep things at least reasonable until I could vacuum. I found this works great on the area rugs but I am truly disappointed on its performance on the hardwood floors. Perhaps it's the static that builds up on the rugs but once I hit the hardwood, MORE hair was distributed onto the floor than picked up! I had to get my microfiber mop out to pick up the hair on the hardwood. So my review says: great on the area rugs for a quick refresh. Not so much for the hardwood. I also found that the bristles hold onto the hairs quite well. So well, I couldn't clean them out completely.Martha

I just received my Fuller electrostatic floor/carpet sweeper and I couldn't be happier with it! It was easy to assemble and I used it immediately just to check it out. I have stone floors, ceramic tile floors and area rugs, and it worked beautifully on all! It is lightweight and small enough to maneuver under furniture and into corners. It picks up dust and hair much better than I expected and it is very easy to empty. This is the perfect sweeper for the "in-between" deep cleanings and will keep me from hauling out the electric vacuum which is a big dread. It is also the perfect sweeper for older folks with arthritis as it is so easy to push. I got the 'mint green' which looks so retro and stylish. I enjoy the convenience of grabbing this sweeper and doing a little cleanup. Easier than sweeping, more convenient than pulling out the vacuum. Does not replace a vacuum by any means but does pick up hair and dust or other similar debris from rugs and hard floors. Does require a little muscle rolling sweeper quickly back and forth so it’s a little tiring if you’re doing a whole room or more. Exercise? Wish it were a little bigger. In first (maybe a bit overenthusiastic) use, it got a bit marred (paint scratches and slight dents) from bumping into furniture legs. Rubber guards in sides seem a bit thin. Love the blue.AS

Pros – It does a pretty good job despite the fact there is no suction. It has a low profile so it goes under some furniture too low for a vacuum cleaner. It is small and lite weight. It picks up dirt the dogs tracked inside the house. Cons – You still have to cut off dog hair wound around its bristle head with a scissors (with annoying frequency). When the bristle gets "full" the sweeper leaves wads of dog hair behind on the floor )just like a vacuum cleaner head). You have to be careful or you can cut the sweeper bristles off with a scissor when removing dog hair. Though light weight, you really have to push the sweeper across rugs/carpet because there is a lot of drag for some reason–More so than with a vacuum cleaner. The above is my experience using it every other day and even in rooms the Collies don't have access to. Conclusion – If you are looking for an easier way to get up dog (Collie) hair shed on the floor, the Fuller Brush Sweeper is NOT an improvement from my point of view. However, it would be great for owners of small non-shedding breeds like Poms or mini poodles. Or maybe even a cat? Keep in mind, you need to use it at least every other day.SHARON P.

The Dual Action sweeper is fantastic on tile, not so much on carpet. Low pile carpet will be fine. Did a kitty litter test and on tile, the first pass got everything up. For the money though, I think I'd rather have invested in a Fuller. With Fuller you get a smaller cleaning area but this is why they are so good ironically. Although the Dual Action sweeper does a good job, it just doesn't say "quality" to me. The rubber wheels that engage the brushes when pushed back and forth seem a bit cheap and appear as though they will wear quickly. The Dual Action works well both forward and backward equally. The front brush is thicker than the back although this hasn't seem to make a difference in results. The nylon(?) bristles are lightweight (more so than I would've thought) and I would imagine, within due time, they would fray. I will update this review (posted on 01/23/2019) if and when that were to ever happen. The handle is broken down into 4 threaded pieces, which screw on together. I have noticed this is cause for the handle coming loose at times and need of re-tightening. Don't tighten those down to tight as it seems possible the threads will strip. Four stars, it's good if you need something a bit bigger than most. If you want a quality sweeper that will last a long time, get a Fuller.J.P.

I bought this because I got mad! I’m so sick of spending $100 on an electric vacuum cleaner that gets clogged and stops working every 6 months. You can’t take them apart to fix because they have special screws. Decided to buy thus mechanical one. Rubbermaid has always had a reputation for quality items. This is no exception. It’s rated as commercial which is even better. It cleans better than my old electric vac. I can tuck this in the corner and grab it for a quick cleanup. It adapts well from carpeted to hardwood flooring with no manual adjustment. We have two long haired people in the house plus two shedding old cats. It picked up the hair great. Was surprised at how much it picked up that the vac missed. Don’t hesitate to buy it. You won’t be sorry. Super quiet too if you like to clean while others are sleeping. No running for a broom and dustpan. No bending. Empty the tray in the garbage can at waist level. No filters to replace. Most of the maintenance is getting hairs out of the brush. They provide a special comb for that.C.M.

I bought this with great exceptions after reading about it. I was expecting this to clean not only my area carpets, but the hard wood floors. It was easy to put together. Once I put it together, I reviewed the video on using this. Very simple to use. I started by cleaning the area rug in my living room. I noticed that the couple of stains did not come out. I decided lets clean the hard wood floor in the entrance way. Their were a few marks that should come out easily, especially given the shark steamer removes them easily. After using the cross wave on it not once, but twice, the stains were still on the floor. I then used the shark steamer on it, and they came up with no problem. I am returning this item back to Sam's Club and will now go and rent a carpet cleaner instead. I really wanted this to work but in the end it just seems to good to be true.Michael

Am soooo tired of pulling out my vacuum just to sweep a black runner i have in my kitchen! The rug catches & shows every little speck. Word to the wise: Never buy black rugs…lol. I knew this type of sweeper worked well bcuz they use them in restaurants. This sweeper is PERFECT. In my opinion, it works just as well as a regular vacuum. They only change i would make is to make the base a little heavier. Sometimes i need to press hard on the handle to pick up a stuck on piece of lint. This little sweeper hides well next to a fridge or in a little space. Can keep it in the open & its unnoticeable. I strongly recommend!arami_77

It's impressive for a $17 sweeper; in fact, I actually ended up getting one for home, one for work, and one for my mom. This is a great tool for cleaning floors when you don't feel like vacuuming. Doesn't get corners or baseboards well and could be a little quieter, but works great otherwise. Even picked up paper shreds from my carpet after a spill. The best part is not having to keep stooping to use a dustpan on hard floors, so it cuts cleanup time, too. It's easy to assemble, stands up on its own, and can reach under furniture if there's at least about a 5-inch clearance. I wouldn't pay over $25; but definitely can't beat it at $17.datduvalchick

This is probably the most convenient and complete floor care product I have owned. It went together with ease and after the initial seven hour charge it is ready to go and did my entire first floor without using much of the charge at all. I do charge it after doing an entire level of my home but for little jobs like the entry way it is ready to go and used very little of the charge. It goes easily from carpet to hardwood or bare floor with just a step on the button. Emptying it is a snap. Just pops off and with one button empties. It does a great job with dirt, dust and pet hair. It also has a unique handle that allows sweeping under furniture without bending over at all. What a nice feature! It is well made and I expect it will last for some time.cintikath

Ok so when I took this thing out of the box, my first thought was it was far too light weight and compact that it would be useless in my home. Suprise surprise to me this sweeper (not a full heavy duty vacuum) has taken over on my daily floor cleanings. I still use my regular vacuum once a week to feel like I am getting a deeper clean, but honestly this little sweeper is keeping the floors pretty clean! I do my living room rug, my wood floors, the carpet bedrooms and my tile flooring with it. I like the simple designs throughout, from the buttons on the pole to allow it to bend in half so I can get under my tables with ease. To the simple buttons on the floor unit, that includes the release of the area to empty the dirt out of. Which actually holds all of my fur and dirt per room per day. And I like that I do not have to touch the floor unit at all with my hands. I also like that you can see the roller and clean it extremely easy! All other vacuums I have used you have to remove it or fight to get to the corners etc. The battery life is good also, I only charge mine every other day and have yet to have it die on me. Overall, as I said, this has taken over and making my daily sweeping a total breeze. Only one thing I am not 100% impressed with is I don't think it picks up on the corners/sides as well as I prefer.Lena1

It's okay for what I bought it for – quick everyday cleanups rather than getting out the regular plug-in Shark. The suction is fine but a cordless is never as strong as corded. The motor though sounds like a toy. It's not noisy because it's not very powerful. It sounds like it's going to die as soon as I turn it on. I plug it in for recharging every time I use it. One thing I really don't like is how large the base is. I've been buying Sharks for years and always liked how small the base was enabling getting into small spaces very easy. This one is huge. It does work equally well on carpet and hard floors. But it's definitely too expensive for what it is.Peggy

I've had my Natural sweeper for many years now. It's wonderful! No cords to mess with, so it's perfect for picking up crumbs or stray popcorn after a late night movie. I have never had a problem with the collection bins being too small or overflowing. I just empty after each use, no big deal. The only complaint I have is hair wrap on the brushes. I have long hair, but on the plus side it picks up hair even on carpeting. Also, I have never had the handle fall off, ever. I put the sweeper together myself, and I have painful psoriatic arthritis in my hands. It's very easy to put together. I use this sweeper on carpeting, hard floor and on wood floors.BeeBee

I use this sweeper nearly every night as a last minute clean up to be sure no crumbs are left in the carpet after TV snacking. I had one previously and gave it away when I moved. I used it to clean up the seeds and pellets my macaw was always dropping on the carpet. It was also good in helping pick up the hair from my dog. I like that it folds nearly flat. It's easy to store in the closet. While it won't replace a vacuum cleaner it's definitely good for quick everyday cleanups.Jeanne
