This facial spray is one of my ride or die products that I keep repurchasing. it is called a beauty elixir because I believe it to be very multi purpose. I use this as both skincare and with makeup. The scent is so refreshing and very spa like. The spray is great as a very fine mist which allows for an even application. This can be used year round, however during the summer or hot months it is just divine. OK tip time, I love to use this after toner and before serum and moisturizer for my day and night time skin care routine. I also love this spray to apply during makeup application. For example, spray this before bending your foundation and it helps blend it so beautifully and also at the end once you have set you face with powder. Make sure you shake the bottle so that the oil floating at the top mixes with it which makes this spray give your complexion such a beautiful glow from within. I like to carry a travel size to spray whenever needed and this does a beautiful job refreshing your makeup. Another tip is to keep this in the fridge so that when you spray it cold it takes your experience to another level. The price is high for a spray but whenever u run out of this, I do miss it and end up repurchasing it. I have been trying to be more involved with “Environmentally Friendly” skincare brands lately and those focusing on sustainability with their products so I was really happy to have received the Vinoclean Moisturizing Toner as a #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox. I’ve always loved Caudalíe due to their brand revolving around the grape vine and it’s benefits. I ended up using this during my daily routine with the Vinoclean Cleansing Milk then followed up after the toner with the Caudalíe Vinoperfect Moisturizer. I’m a big fan of using my hands when applying toner instead of a cotton round or cloth because by the time I reach for my toner I should hopefully have all makeup/sunscreen removed already so my skin can absorb the toner. The fragrance with the natural rose is at a great balance to where it isn’t overwhelming. I ended up putting this in my skincare fridge for a couple of minutes to get more of a cooling effect which turned out to be very nice. I definitely noticed the difference as far as hydration in addition to the use of the cleansing milk. Caudalíe is one of very few brands that has a fantastic mission statement, but, also continues improving on that mission. This is a must-have product for folks who can tolerate a bit of a toner sting. Man, I love this beauty elixir. I first got it to help with skin dehydration and would spray it on during or after work flights. I've since corrected my deyhdrated face issue (btw more products was not the solution to this!) and still use this every morning before I seal it in with argan oil. I feel awake when I use it, refreshed, and tingly. I believe it helps my pores as well. It never aggravates my skin, and I have sensitive skin (but everyone is different!). I can't say for sure if this is THE product that fixed my skin dehydration problem (it was super dry and tight but also reallly oily prior to me getting it under control), but it has proven to be effective for me in conjunction with a light argan oil. I also kind of use it as a "sanitizer" because a sephora staff member told me I could. I do use it on my brushes as well if I want to make powder blushes a bit more pigmented so when I do that, it makes me feel like my brushes are more clean, too. It is pricey, but one bottle will last awhile–at least 6months in my experience.

I love this product! I use it almost every day to clean my skin before any application. It works great to remove makeup and any harshness left on my skin! This product is good for the pores and removes most of the excess oil that my face creates. I have awful combination skin, especially around my nose. I also hear that witch hazel can reduce varicose veins so might start applying this product to my legs to see if this is true or not. You never know! I have found that this product is just great for my skin. No harshness or issues.
I love this facial toner for my skin. I like how it’s not oily, not overpowering, doesn’t irritate the skin. Very good product for sensitive skin. I also love after my face is done from wash, when I put it on my cotton ball and lather on my face, it makes my skin feel so fresh, awake and a glow. It really isn't bad as far as witch hazel goes. Personally I don't like the smell of unscented witch hazel so I would add some lavender or rose to it if I were going to buy it. My only real issue with it is the price. I've bought other brands of witch hazel (unscented & scented) for up to $4 less. I'm not sure "organic" makes this worth $4 more. But I may try one of their scented variations before making up my mind!

Texture is not watery but more like a syrup. It has a mild floral scent which disappears quickly after applying. Skin appears to be hydrated and glow after use. It doesn't leave a sticky/ oily film on the skin like some of other thick toners. I didn't expect much from this since it's the first product I bought from this brand, but I find myself reaching to this toner more nowadays. I've heard of this brand via Korean youtubers so when I saw it was on sale I grabbed two lol. The packaging is nice – it comes in a sturdy plastic bottle, so it's not as fragile and heavy as glass but also doesn't feel cheap. Maybe I've bought into the hype, but the toner is quite hydrating and not like the watery kind. It's a touch sticky, but nothing too unbearable so I like it. It's got so many ferments and I'm lucky my skin likes that stuff. I'm hoping that this is *the* fermented product I can incorporate into my routine so I have high hopes. As a woman in her 30s, I'm always interested to try products that promote a poreless visage. Pore Vanish technology? Sign me up! I've been using this toner both morning and evening after washing my face for little over two weeks, and unfortunately my pores are definitely still there. They haven't vanished, and I'd need a photographer/examiner with much more skill and objectivity to help me decipher whether they've shrunk at all or not. However, that's not to say I didn't see any benefits while using this toner. First, I have extremely sensitive skin and a lot of products I've tried before have irritated my skin; this toner didn't bother my skin in the slightest. Plus, I'm not sure which demigod-of-the-wind-and-sea decided giving a woman in her 30s pimples AND wrinkles simultaneously was an appropriate punishment, but using this toner regularly has helped me fight off the former, for which I am grateful. After applying, my skin feels clean but not too tight, and the rest of my skin care routine absorbs uniformly. The cruelty-free, planet-friendly aspect is also a big plus, as I'm always looking to trade sketchily produced skincare products for a smarter alternative. Overall, I plan on keeping this toner as a part of my daily routine for the near future, and I'm definitely grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to review it. I liked the way this toner worked. I’ve been using it for close to a month now both morning and evenings. I’ve liked that the product does not dry out my skin or make it oily. Since using the toner, my face feels much smoother and more moisturized. While I don’t feel like I had really large pores to begin with, I have noticed the appearance of my pores has become less noticeable. Even though this toner is supposed to be fragrance free, it has a bit of a smell to it, which I can’t quite compare It to anything, but it does not linger long. I’m sensitive to really strong odors so this was an important factor to me. Another important factor to me is Cruelty-Free products. I’m glad to see this one is not tested on animals, and as an added plus it’s also vegan! One of my favorite things, other than the way this product makes my skin feel, is that you get a large bottle of product, so it last a while. Even after a month of use, I still have almost a full bottle. I’d recommend this product for anyone that wants a smoother complexion and a reduction in the appearance of their pores. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this facial toner to test and review. I’m usually immediately skeptical of skincare products as I’ve become very picky about ingredients over the years, so I was very happy to see this toner doesn’t contain any fragrance, SLS, parabens, propylene glycol, or denatured alcohol. Most of the ingredients earn a low (the lower the better!) score of 1 or 2 on the EWG Skin Deep database – which makes me feel good about using this twice daily as part of my skin care routine. And while this does contain witch hazel (which is usually too drying for my skin) – I think the drying effect must be countered by the glycerin and moisturizing fruit and rose extracts as my skin never felt “tight” after applying it, which is great because the older I get the more moisture my skin needs! I also struggle with hormonal acne and I was happy to note that this toner never stung or burned if applied over broken skin. I do think I’ll have to use it longer (probably 3-6 months of regular use) to see if it really helps improve my skin texture or areas of hyperpigmentation. I’ve been using it for almost a month now and I can’t say I see any difference with my pore size or areas of uneven skin tone. That said, I’m a big fan of niacinamide in skin care products, so I have high hopes for this one since niacinamide is the second ingredient listed.. I think I could even give this five stars if it did not contain the witch hazel, the polysorbate 20, and the PEG-40. Overall I was surprised by how much my sensitive skin liked this and by how long the bottle is going to last – a little bit goes a long way!Alissa

Toners always help with the extra boost my skin needs. This toner has hyaluronic acid, lipidure, and beta glucan. Hyaluronic acid is one of my favorite go-to ingredients for hydration. This toner does not fail and does a good job of hydrating my skin. Recently, I tried a cleanser that dried out my skin (will be doing a review of it, keep an eye out!) and I used this a lot to get my skin hydrated afterwards. The toner is also super gentle and my skin absorbs it very fast. It does feel sticky afterwards (yay!). The texture is thicker than I expected and not too watery or runny. It’s super easy to work with in my opinion. So this will probably sound a little strange, but it almost smells like aftershave to me. I actually like the smell of aftershave and this toner but it is a little strong. The company has an unscented version of this toner. For anyone who is sensitive to smell, I would recommend trying the unscented version. If you are indifferent to smell and/or like the smell of aftershave, this toner is definitely a good one to try!ladyboss.r
I've been using this product for almost 2 years now, being part of the first group of K-cosmetics I have ever bought. Let's start with my skin needs: I have sensitive, dehydrated combination skin that sometimes likes to breakout resulting in textural irregularity and dullness. Sometimes super oily. Do you recognise yourself? Then this is the toner for you! (But i believe that any skin type could only benefit from this) The texture of this toner is in between the one of an essence and the one of a serum, resulting in being a very ''milky toner'' texture if you get what I'm saying. Applying after cleansing really feels like putting back into your skin what you took out with cleansing. It's super lightweight and if your skin's like mine, you can easily follow with a serum and a moisturizer/spf. It's completely fragrance free and cruelty free. What's not to love? Does it work? We all know the feeling of using a product and not seeing a difference at all. Well, THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! Every time I use it in the morning, my skin will be glowing all day long, till the evening, resulting very hydrated, supple and ultra healthy. I also notice less redness and overall blemish control when I start using it again after a pause period of time (usually while I wait for the next box to arrive lol). Great for adding extra hydration. I use this after cleansing toner and before serum and cream. The smell is a lovely calming herbal smell. I can imagine the smell can take some getting used to if you're not familiar with asian herbs. I apply with my hands and pat on until absorbed. My skin has greatly improved since switching to this and a hyaluronc acid serum. My frown line and slight laugh lines have almost completely disappeared. this product is always raved about online and I'm happy I could finally try it, im really happy with how much my overall skin condition has improved whilst using this product in conjunction with the other products in my skincare routine. This has become a go to toner for me, one I will not go the day without. I absolutely love that they are under Sephoras clean label. The owners of this brand also have a winery and so they use all parts, in every way they can. They also plant a lot of trees and really work towards their products making a better planet. I find that very respectable and I will definitely continue to support their brand. Besides all that, I have noticeably seen a difference in my skin while using this product. I have large pores, but can have very dry skin. This toner takes care of my sometimes combo skin, cleans out my pores, and does not dry my skin out. I have used this on several clients and recommended it and have gotten very positive reviews from them as well. My skin had always been pretty good, but at 41 (and after having had my daughter just over 2 years ago) I had started to get awful hormonal breakouts around my chin, jawline and neck. For around 2 weeks a month my skin would be fine, and then for the remaining weeks it would feel (and look) like an oil slick! It really knocked my confidence and so I started researching cleansers. I love this toner for a few reasons. First, it’s clean and smells great, which is amazing. But beyond that it works for its intended purpose. This toner isn’t meant to be super hydrating – it’s supposed to address pores and blemishes – which it does. After one use, there is noticeable reduction in the size of my pores and my blemishes have dried and also reduced in size. So it is definitely drying, but far less so than other products I’ve used. The fact that it’s more gentle means you’ll notice a difference, but you also need to use it a few times to actually get to the results you’re looking for. For me, it was a week to actually see my skin fully clearing up. The last thing I will say is that it while it is definitely effective on blemishes, it doesn’t do much for blackheads. Overall, this toner is a staple in my sensitive, acne-prone and combination skincare, if used with the right moisturizers (I follow up with serums and lotion).aida.a

This is my favorite toner. The texture is very delicate. It is very comfortable after use. It can make the face very smooth and dilute fine lines. got this to go with my lha cleanser and it's been absolutely fantastic. It makes my face feel so clean and fresh once I'm finished. again though packaging misses the mark. The packaging itself looks cool but I prefer functionality over form. it's not very convenient for pouring onto cotton pads it sends to drip down the sides a lot. I'm sad to see how much of my product is already used to considering how long I've had this bottle, so I ended up buying some plastic bottles on Amazon that have the little top pump where you put the cotton pad on top and push down and it pushes the liquid up into the cotton pad. This makes it so easy I am in freaking love. I now no longer have to waste my product and I can control how much goes on to the cotton pad by pumps. I had considered even possibly trying a tiny spray bottle like a facial mist but I figured this would be a little better. another weird thing about the packaging that I've noticed is that even if I wiped it off there always tended to be a white crust that developed in the creases of the lid where the little push button thing pivoted to pop up the spout at first I thought it was just some kind of junkie stuff that got on there but then I realized the product itself seemed to have been drying up there even after I wiped it off like I don't know if it was evaporating or what but there was constantly little like crusties forming. Since I switch to this new bottle style I haven't seen any of that. despite the packaging issues though the product itself is amazing and I will continue to buy it and just put it in my own containers. I love SkinCeuticals and have tried several of their toners as well as many, many high end skincare line toners. The equalizer toner is by far the best for the purpose of a toner and it’s effectiveness. It’s so important to balance your skin’s PH after cleansing and this specific toner does that as well as removing any leftover soap or oils, etc. I can see and feel a difference when I use this toner rather than other brands and the others I’ve tried in SkinCeuticals line. If it helps to know my skin type, it’s combination. I wish SkinCeuticals would switch back to their old or previous packaging/bottles used to hold and dispense their toners and facial cleansers. The current toner bottle and current cleanser bottles waste so much product and easy to spill as well as leak. I don’t know why they made the change, but they seriously need to listen to their customers and go back to the previous packaging/bottles. Frustrating! Luckily for the brand, their product is too good not to use or I would look else where just to limit the annoying messes made from their bottles leaking and save money by purchasing a product that stays in the dispensing bottle until I use it. Some of these these reviews make me laugh. "I used once and I broke out" OR "I used for a week and I broke out" these people do not know how to introduce skincare into their regimen. This is why I take many reviews lightly on products. I am aware that everyone's skin is different. But EVERYONE knows to slowly introduce a new skin care product slowly into their regimen. Makes me angry. This toner had worked wonderfully for my skin. I am 41. I suffer from cystic acne in my jawline, and this took care of this within 6 weeks. (Even helped with "maskne". I have noticeable acne scarring (dark spots and a few pitted scars). I have tried an INSANE number of products, I mean literally I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on products targeted for dark spots, resurfacing, and acne treatment & prevention. This product is one i picked up on a whim, and actually kept under my bathroom sink for a month or two before I even tried it (since I had so many other products to try first that to me seemed more promising). Eventually I made my way to this toner, and honestly the first time I used it, it burned like crazy. To be fair, I had been using a ton of other exfoliating-type products prior to this so my skin was already hypersensitive. I put the toner away for another week or two and focused on restoring my skin's biome, and when it didn't feel super red and hypersensitive anymore, I came back to this toner. This time, it still burned a bit in certain spots (namely where I had active blemishes), but I persisted. I used this twice a day for the past 2-3 weeks and OMG, my face looks insanely GOOD!!! I have absolutely NO visible pores, my dark spots have lightened up SIGNIFICANTLY, and for the first time in forever, I actually have a smooth glow to my skin and feel confident enough to be seen without full coverage foundation. I think generally people try to avoid talking about the serious toll dark spots can take on a person's self-esteem, and the lengths we will go to in order to avoid anyone else ever seeing them. But it can be pretty damaging mentally and emotionally! This is the very first product of several hundred targeted products I've tried (literally!) that has actually made such an improvement that I can honestly say it has been life-changing. I cannot say enough good things about this toner. If the stinging is unbearable, work on rebuilding your skin's biome and then try the toner again. I love this product. I am 49 and recently had eye surgery. So I no longer wear glasses. I have dark scarring where my glasses it. Plus dark spots in my cheeks from aging. I use this product every other day and I use Boscia jumbo cactus water moisturizer after. It has done wonders for my skin. It dose tingle after use. Decent toner & lasts forever! I bought this because I needed a cheaper option than Akar's Balance Toner ($55 and not sold at Sephora). I also wanted to try Belif's toner because their Aqua Bomb is a great moisturizer. I saw some reviews about the denatured alcohol ingredient, but since there are mixed feelings about using it as an ingredient for skincare from different YouTubers and skincare experts, I decided to buy it and see for myself. I ended up really liking the results! I do not break out, it feels good on my combo/sensitive skin, and it allows following products in my skincare routine to absorb into my skin. I love the size, and there is a lot of product for the price. I have been using this day and night every day, and still have not needed to buy another one. This has not been my luck with other toners. I still prefer the feeling of Akar’s Balance Toner, but for the price of these benefits, I’ll probably keep buying this one.sharesly

I received two complimentary products from @influensterca @belifcanada 💦 'The Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner' and 'The True Cream Aqua Bomb'! I was excited to try this aqua line up as my skin needs to a lot of moisturizer to replenish any dry patches left by our ruthless cold Canadian winters. I worked these products into my regular skincare routine and tested them for three weeks. Immediately after washing my face with my regular cleanser, I have been applying 'The Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner'. The toner doesn't have a strong scent which is perfect for sensitive skin. It has a slight cooling effect when you first apply it but nothing really worthy of noticing. Be careful, one of the main ingredients in this toner is alcohol. Depending on your skin type, this could dry you out and even cause breakouts. My skin is combination/oily so I didn't have a problem in that department. After applying 'The Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner' I move on to my favourite product of this duo, 'The True Cream Aqua Bomb'. After only a few days of using this moisturizer my skin was hydrated and radiant. It has a slight lemony fresh scent which I adore and the gel texture is light enough that I find if I let it dry fully before applying my makeup, I'm not left with a weird sticky texture. Over all I love what this brand stands for and their cruelty free practices. I personally wouldn't buy 'The Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner' once I run out, but will absolutely be looking to replace 'The True Cream Aqua Bomb' once I run out because of how well it hydrates my skin. This toner is overall a great toner! I have incredibly dry, yet slightly combination skin and this did a fairly great job! Effectiveness: This is where I took off a star, not because it was a bad product but because it wasn't as hydrating as I wished it would be. I have pretty dry skin but it can also tend to be slightly oily in the t-zone. For the most part, it was quite hydrating after cleansing my face but I have used some toners out there that felt more moisturizing to the skin. On days where I had more sensitive skin for whatever reason, this sometimes had the tendency to irritate me a little. Scent: The scent on this is very similar to Belif's other products, specifically the cleansing balm. It has that slight herbal scent that is common with Belif products, but it wasn't overbearing and disappeared quickly after the application. At first I liked this toner, it felt refreshing and my pores did look smaller. But after a couple weeks I started noticing a lot of dry scaly patches and my skin just looked… dull. Then the pimples came, one after another. I thought it was hormones at first, I didn't put 2 and 2 together that it was the toner until I checked the reviews and saw a bunch of other people complaining of breakouts too. I'm discontinuing use immediately. Yikes, my face hasn't looked this bad since puberty. I have no idea what's in this that makes me break out so bad, maybe the sodium, maybe all the alcohol just dried my skin out so bad that it formed a 'crust' and trapped all the natural oils underneath, I dunno but it's bad. I am a skin care junkie who is always buying new skin care online. I had been using the Neutrogena stress control simply because i wanted salicylic acid to balance the oil on my t-zone. I purchased the Paula's Choice 2% BHA exfoliant toner and it worked good. Its watery but kind of feels like an oily water. I do not use cotton rounds to apply skin care, even toner. I apply everything with my hands and pat into my skin. Even watery skin products i apply with my hands. This is the best toner out there and when comparing ingredients with a $35 bottle of Paula's Choice toner i was blown away at Neutrogena having the exact same ingredients, but MORE exfoliating ingredients ( glycolic acid) and also soothing aloe vera and witch hazel. I am prone to a bump here or there but this toner has not one time broke me out nor irritated my sensitive skin. I have acne prone, combination skin (little on the oily side) I suffer from painful welts/cystic acne on my chin and cheeks, that take their sweet time to disappear and leave dark spots. I find that a slow motion or even leaving the cloth moderately soaked with the toner on the acne for a couple seconds drastically reduces the size within the day/24 hours. My skin looks like I have a highlight on. This product not only smells great but I needs this for quality of life. It works with my skin to heal the acne. Recently, I've noticed my dark spots that I could normally hide pretty well with foundation becoming more pronounced. After some research, I kept coming across this toner. It not only has glowing reviews but it was highly recommended from the Sephora employee. I ended up purchasing it with high hopes. Unfortunately, after using this toner for almost a month, I've not only discontinued use but had no noticable positive effects. I will note that this is a high acid toner and I do have dry skin but skin sensitivity is not an issue. That said, I had some issues with this toner. I noticed with the first application of this toner a very slight stinging sensation. This was after a basic face wash. It was nothing too dramatic but noticiable. This stinging sensation did not occur with every use but I couldn't exactly pinpoint the cause… I used multiple face washes and didn't use it daily or after exfoliating. I also stopped any other skincare treatments during the time I was using this toner. After the first week and only applying it to the dark spots which are on my forehead and the sides of my face, I saw absolutely no difference. After 3 weeks, absolutely no change. After babying my not sensitive skin for almost a month to ensure this toner didn't cause any adverse reactions to end up with zero results is disappointing. So, I purchased this when I needed a toner. I wasn't really sure what I was getting with this because it's a toner + serum in one and some of the reviews were mixed. OMG, you guys. If you have oily skin or acne concerns, you need this. First of all, I LOVE the texture. It is something in between a serum and a toner. And even though it says to apply with a cotton pad, I find that because of the jelly texture, I don't need to do that! I just pump it into my finger and apply directly to the skin. It soaks in so nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Another thing that I love about this is that it never feels DRYING. Sometimes with toners, it feels like the skin is just tight and this does not do that for me. I also see a HUGE difference in my skin in terms of breakouts. I had one really painful pimple on my cheek last night and I used this in conjunction with cleanser and moisturizer and woke up with the pimple drastically reduced in size and less painful. I also love that this is two products in one! So if you're looking for that minimal skincare routine, this is it. Anyways, I can rave about this for hours. Do yourself a favor and try it!Daniela

I am using this toner + serum after cleansing my face in the morning and at night. Applying the toner is easy by pressing down on the pump and putting the toner on a a cotton pad. I then swipe it gently all over my face. It has a clear somewhat thicker texture that absorbs fast into my skin without leaving a sticky feeling to my skin. It has a refreshing and lightweight texture. My skin feels soothed instantly on application. I am IN LOVE with this milky toner!! My face is so sensitive to products & I was nervous about trying this. In just 3 days I could see a difference! The scent is light & my skin feels so moisturized when I use it! I don't use a cotton pad. Instead, after cleansing my face I pour a dime sized amount into the palm of my hand & spead it all over my face. It doesn't irritate ANYTHING. This was first time I tried this toner though have been using the rest of the products from the "Ultra Facial" line for ages. I love the texture of it, this tones is so moisturising. In the evenings, to give my skin an extra bit of a clean, I use it with a cotton pad. In the mornings, I can just apply a little with my hands – this saves lots of the product. Great in a combination with pretty much any face cream due to its texture, I tried it with 5 or 6 – works well, no contradiction with other products! I really enjoyed using this toner as it didn't leave a sticky residue unlike many other toners I've used, and it's really light. I've been using it for around 2 months now, and my redness and acne has decreased slowly but steadily. I use this along with the COSRX good morning low Ph cleanser, Paula's choice exfoliator, and neutrogena moisturizer for extra dry skin. After using a new topical acne treatment that extremely dried out my skin, I needed a new toner to replace my holy grail Thayer's Witch Hazel Rose Toner. Don't get me wrong, I still love that toner to death. But I wanted to try something new that would leave my skin feeling both clean AND hydrated. So when I found out that Shopper's was carrying Kylie Jenner's skincare line, I decided to try her Vanilla Milk Toner. I'll be honest, I don't love it enough to be my new holy grail. But I do like it a lot to continue using in the meantime. It has a much thicker consistency that I initially expected. Very creamy and milky. Hence, the name. As directed, I use a cotton pad to apply it onto my skin after cleansing and it seems to do the trick! I really enjoy the gentle vanilla scent because it isn't too overpowering. However, if you're someone that absolutely detests fragrance in their skincare products, I wouldn't recommend this one. I, for one, don't mind it so I can truthfully say that this toner does good for my skin and I would definitely purchase it again.xjayle_
Due to the insane winter we've had here, my usually oily/combo skin was in distress. Seriously I had dry patches all around my chin and lip area and I was peeling like crazy. My usual astringent wasn't good for me during this time and I decided to give this a try. My skin is horrible. It's just not good skin, so I usually need chemicals. However this toner doesn't have harsh chemicals and still manages to take off the oil in the areas I need, without drying out the dry patches. My dry patches have since subsided. I don't think this will hold up to be oil in the humid summer and I'll probably have to switch but I can say I've found my new winter staple!Nikki
I don’t think I have very sensitive skin, however, this product made me think otherwise. It burned my skin, made me break out in little bumps, as well as made redness, appear on my face. Ri. It has never appeared before. I have oily/combination skin, and usually only break out on my chin. However, when I applied this on my face, it made my cheeks break out, which never happens to me. Let me start off to say I never do reviews of anything but I was compelled on this one. I started a consistent skin care routine few years ago so of course have tried alot of products. I am 47 yrs young with textured skin, sun damage and post acne scars.. I do have the healthiest skin for me ever(only took me till I was in my 40s lol) but after sometime u like to change up your products. Have always incorporated niacinamide in my routine but when I seen this toner I had to try. Omg!! After 1st time I used it, my skin felt hydrated, moisturized, soft and jad a beautiful glow. I followed with GM hyaluronic acid serum and so impressed. I can't wait to use it every night. I will be trying other products but after using so many different toners I have never seen these kind of results. Sorry for rambling but had to share my opinion!! TLDR; BUY THIS TONER, DARK SPOTS GONE I had cystic acne that popped up because of constant mask wearing (disposable masks) at work. Clusters of huge pimples, to the point that it hurt to smile and no amount of makeup could cover those mountains on my face. I used the COSrx pimple patches (which also worked wonders) to reduce the size of my breakouts and help clear them faster, along with the Proactive toner, Beekman Victamin C booster, and Exuviance AHA cleanser massaged in my skin with my Foreo device. I noticed my pimples weren't lasting as long, and were less frequent but they left horrible dark scars. I bought this toner and used it twice a day after cleansing in addition to everything else in my routine and just after a week I noticed the dark spots fading and my pimples becoming less frequent. After a month I had to smack myself for not buying this toner sooner. My dark spots are pretty much all gone and I have no more pimples. There are still a couple tiny acne scars that are stubborn and won't clear, but a little CC cream covers them up just fine. My skin is soft, smooth, and brighter than ever! Side note: I switched to cloth masks and used a new one every day. The disposable masks were causing my clusters of pimples, even though I changed them every hour. I just repurchased this toner after getting it in gratis in April (I'm a beauty advisor). I love the way it treats my skin!! I find that niacinamide serums like the ordinary has are sometimes annoying to put on so this is perfect for me. Just adds a little extra to my skincare routine! I actually do think it's brightening and making my skin look better. I wouldn't say my skin has ever looked really dull, but the overall skin tone feels more even to me. I have slight roseacea on the bottoms of my cheeks (like where a dog's jowls are lol) and I feel like they have become a lot calmer!!!! That's really important to me because I can't wear foundation cause I have freckles all over my face and I don't like to hide them. I received this toner in my fabfitfun box and I am very happy to say I have repurchased this toner 4 times since then. I had never heard of Skin and Co. before receiving that product but once I tried it my skin completely changed. I am 21 years old and I have oily and clogged skin. This toner makes my complexion even, takes care of minor breakouts I have, reduces redness, and so much more. I love that it also has antiseptic properties and if I feel I need to I can give my skin a quick cleans with just the toner. I love and talk about this product so much that 4 other people have started using this toner and are in love with it as well. Do yourself a favor and buy this product.
Please note that I have the sample size (30ML) SKINCO ROMA Truffle Therapy Face Toner, that I received in my April 2017 Ipsy glambag. I have never heard of this brand before and this will be my first time trying a product from them. There’s not much information on them, within their website other than where the ingredients are from and formulated to help keep your skin healthy. I am very into how this brand is vegan, gmo, gluten, cruelty free, and etc. Overall the product is my first time trying toner, I haven’t been into toners before. My usual skin care routine is face mask, exfoliate, cleanser, and moisturizer. My daily skin care has advanced since using this toner, I have incorporated trying different toners into my daily routine. I like how this product doesn’t have a strong aroma, I expected it to because that’s how I saw toner as and I don’t like strong smells. I was really excited to receive this toner in my Causebox. My mistake: I did not really understand the intended purpose of this toner. I figured “truffle therapy” meant it would be a nourishing toner…I was wrong. This is more of an exfoliating toner, and I was using it way more than I should have, which was making my skin SO dry. I have stopped using it daily and using it more as an exfoliating/purifying toner. I’m not very impressed. It’s fine. This is advertised as part cleanser and I don’t think my skin would handle that (see it drying my skin a TON). Lesson learned: when you get a product in a subscription box, don’t use it blindly. This product has changed my skin routine for the better. It's helped absorb product better and I notice a difference if I don't use it (skin is meh without it). I agree with the others though. The bottle could use an upgrade. Too much product is dispensed. What I've done is keep the sample bottle I received from my esthetician and refilled that. I can manage the product better in that bottle since you only need 3-5 drops for each application. For travel, I put sone plastic wrap around the top before I screw the top back on. I love this toner. It smells like pumpkin and I feel it does just enough without over drying me. Enzymes are very effective in helping restore and balance our moisture barrier and this does just that. I exfoliate with it 3-5 times a week and although my skin doesn’t tend to break out, I feel this helps keep pesky texture alway. I would not recommend for acne prone skin as I feel it is too gentle but i recommend as a way to keep your skin balanced.Genesis
Why did I make this purchase? I decided on this purchase because my beloved Glycolic Facial Tonic seems no longer to be available from either DermStore, where I had a subscription for auto-delivery of the item, nor from the manufacturer. What was my experience? I have found it to be a good substitute. While a bit more aggressive than my favorite, having tested it for several weeks I am satisfied with the results and have placed it on auto-delivery . Would I recommend this product to someone else? Yes, with a cautionary note: This is not an acid for the inexperienced. There is a lovely scent to it – which might lull you into carelessness – but also a sting. I've tried many many toners from different continents for almost 35 years now (I'm in my late 40's). And this is the one for me. I do not use cotton pads unless I particularly feel the need as it's far more important not to rub the facial skin (it's as thin as a tissue paper, you know!), but instead I warm some in between my palms and gently put my hands on and wrap my face, followed by gentle pressing/patting will do. It takes longer than using cotton pads, but this great toner will sink in and moisturise AND act as a great conductor to following treatments (serum/cream etc). This lovely skin tonic suits my skin perfectly, it is non-drying and gentle. I have been using it (or its predecessor) – for many years – in fact the most recent purchase I had before this one was probably about 8 years old – and was still fresh and used regularly. Initially I purchased the basic kit without the toner. When it was time to reorder, I included the toner. I’m truly enjoying it! I have really really bad blackheads and always have using this has definitely helped some. It didn’t cure them all overnight but I see an improvement and less wrinkles in my skin. I use the luminous kit. It is getting really pricey at this point. I’ve used it for two months now and have got three orders (of various items that run out). Hoping they come out with a cheaper refill packaging soon because I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford this much longer. I had a really bad rash and acne when I turned 23. And it took me until now (2 years later) to find products that worked for my skin. Use this in my daily regimen. So far after using this a couple week Ive noticed less oily skin. I plan to continue to use this with my other epionce products. It burns a small amount after putting in on if you have recent acne sores but it’s short lived. Haven’t noticed too much for complexion but it’s only been two weeks.Jaye
