The 3rd time my son rode his new bike the chain fell off. This is the 4th bike I have owned like this for my boys. Every one the chain falls off a few days after purchasing. We bought this for my son's 8th birthday. Not only does he love it, but now other kids in the neighborhood want one too! The all take turns riding it. My son is interested in motocross and this is a great electric bike for him to ride around the neighborhood and feel like he's on a motorcycle or dirt bike. Fun little bike! Easy to assemble and operate. Make sure you check all the fasteners as some may be missing or loose. I had a missing sprocket bolt and nut. I also had a defective loose fuel hose clamp from the fuel tank that caused fuel to spill everywhere. Not thrilled. Got new auto grade hose clamp and it now is good to go. Reason for 1 less star is QC control. I got the bike registered as an OHM with the state of Minnesota. Going to be good times on trails and frozen lakes!Tony L

The bike looks excellent!!! The delivery was fine and I was very happy when my box arrived damage free. As some videos on YouTube have mentioned. Also as some videos on you tube have noticed there was a missing washer from the steering as it appears in the diagram. Oh well I had one laying around so no big deal. I was looking for a first toy for a new house. And Walmarts price beat Amazon and Target. So big up to Walmart on this also!! I bought this for my teenage son to enjoy in our neighborhood and local trails. It came well packaged and was very easy to assemble in less an an hour. I cannot recommend this dirt bike. We were so excited to find it. When ours came in, my brother who is a lifelong motorcycle rider and mechanic, came over to assemble it. If he would not have shown me where the choke was, I'm not sure we ever would have found it. It's almost under the seat. We almost never got it to start. After him taking it apart and going over the wiring harness, we were finally able to start it. Our grandson rode one day for about 2 hours and the next day, it wouldn't start. We're still trying to figure out what the problem is. The owners manual is very little help with troubleshooting any issue. And the manufacturers response is to disassemble the bike and return it for a new replacement which may take up to 8 weeks.Lisa

We order this item site to store. It was expected to arrive 2 days before christmas. But it actually arrived even today days earlier tham expected. The box was wrapped until christmas morning and once it was opened. Super simple to get going you literally put on the handle bars, check the oil and add gas. It has hauled everyone from me and my 4 year old at once and I have older niece and newphews who ride as well it pulls us all the same and runs perfectly. I am not happy writing a poor review. When it works, it's fun, but that is the problem. I picked up from Walmart in a perfect box. Assembled it and the pull start cover was crushed. Pulled it off and reshaped it, worked fine. Road it for 2 days, clutch start slipping extremely bad. Pulled off clutch assembly and lubed it. me lubing it was very clearly the first time any sort of lubricant has come near the clutch.. worked fine for half a day. Called Monster and explained the situation and they said clutch. we said clutch was lubed and assembled properly, they still said clutch. Ask if we could get a refund, they said contact walmart. Their own box very very clearly says on the flap "DO NOT RETURN TO STORE OF PURCHASE" Contact monster. Walmart will not accept return. Went back to Monster, they said clutch again and they are sending another clutch. This is where I am at. I have had the bike 6 days and have been able to ride it 3 bours… Unless you are handy and have the proper tools to continually repairing a brand new piece of machinery, stay away..Papapgo
I have one of these that I bought three years ago when they were made in China. That one I would give 5 stars. The one I just got the fender looked crooked and where it mounts to the frame was an inch and a half higher on one side. So the bracket had to be cut off and welded in the right spot. I bought this one to do an engine swap and while taking the engine out noticed all the lock washers for the engine bolts were on the bolt head with just a smooth flange nut on the bottom. So with a little vibration probably would've fallen off. The screws for the seat were cross threaded. So as long as you are capable of building a minibike from scratch, this is the one for you. This has been one of the few times I've questioned whether made in America is a big deal.Joe
