I had the original IF200 model that the head unit started making a noise like a grinding. I called Shark and they replaced it under warranty with the new model IF80. I was excited as they replaced the whole unit and very quickly. After first use I was disappointed as it left a lot of my dogs hair on the carpet. I thought maybe I missed something in the instructions, so I re-read them, checked the unit in case I missed packing material. Did not miss anything. My housekeeper stated she didn't like the new vacuum because it wasn't cleaning the carpet. I went and grabbed the old units powered floor cleaner and went over the carpet again and that unit picked everything up like before so whatever they did with the powered floor unit is what is bad. Again great warranty bad vacuum.Bruce

I do not normally write reviews but am making an exception. I love this vacuum. It is very cleverly designed to bend to get under furniture, and also fold up for storage. It is not necessary to use a docking station to charge the unit, which I find helpful since I have no wall space for a docking station, and I can charge the battery and store the unit folded up under a counter. I find the unit to be quite light, compared to others I have looked at. Also, you don't need to hold a trigger to get it to go (a poor feature on the Dysons). It comes with 2 batteries so you can be using one and charging the other. One battery is enough to vacuum most of my house. It is easy to empty the dirt cup.. I find it has good suction, and the "carpets" function is particularly effective. All over I am very happy.Princess Nasturtium

I've had this vacuum for about a month now, and I love it. I currently reside in about a 700 square foot apartment with carpet in the bedroom and walk-in closet and hard surfaces everywhere else. I can do a full, slow, methodical vacuuming of the whole apartment 3 times on 1 battery (not using the ion mode). The different brush speeds work great for switching between hard floor and carpet. I find myself vacuuming at every chance I get just due to the convenience of this unit. The included accessories such as the crevice tool and detail kit make vacuuming anything a breeze. The flex makes vacuuming under coffee tables, chairs, and beds simple. The only minor complaint would be that the dust bin is small, and dust seems to stick to it to the point where you need to reach in and pull it out to empty. That minor concern doesn't really bother me, but it's worth noting. Overall, I would 100% recommend this vacuum.BRIANB

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review from #bzzagent. The Bissell Poweredge vacuum was easy to put together out of the box. The suction power is good and I like the accessories it comes with. I was really disappointed that this vacuum does not have an LED light! For over $200.00 you would assume it would. That feature alone would not make me want to purchase this. Also I don't like the fact you have to mount the vacuum to the wall to store it. It should have the option to fold in half. This Bissell PowerEdge Cordless Vacuum is amazingly very satisfying to use! It has never fail me every time I use it. It cleans up really good, has a great suction and it also gets the edges well. It's lightweight and super easy to maneuver. We have two dogs that sheds a lot and small kids so we have an endless clutter. This cordless vacuum makes cleaning pet hairs, crumbs and everything else like a breeze! It's way better than our old one. I had put off purchasing a cordless vacuum after using a couple big name / expensive cordless vacuums. But I read the reviews and decided to order this one. I wasn't completely sold until I used it and I was pleasantly surprised by the power, the size of the dust cup, attachments, how quiet it is, movability of the swivel head and the overall great job it did!!! I started out with a Hoover vacuum over 40 years ago but got distracted by bright, shiny machines by other manufacturers. All of them had some problem – too heavy, difficult to use, didn't perform well, or whatever. Now I've come home to Hoover. I mean "home to Hoover" almost literally. You see one of my great-grandfathers who died decades before I was born worked for Hoover over 100 years ago. He gave my grandparents a Hoover when they got married. I love, love, love the Hoover vacuum which I bought a little more than a year ago. It is light, performs well on all surfaces, and is intuitive in operation. The bag disposal is a breeze – you just release it directly into a trash receptacle and that's all there is to it. I will not again make the error of using any other brand vacuum. I only hope that if I meet my great-grandpa in heaven that he will forgive me for ever having strayed!Sine Nomine

When using the cleaner tje attachments, and particularly the hose, simply fall off their perches. When I tried to discover through a user's manual, how I could prevent that, I discovered that Hoover does not directly supply a user's manual. Instead one has to go through third parties to download a manual, and that process stalls. So I never got an answer to my questions. I bought Hoover machine fifty years ago, and that's how long it lasted. I thought I could not go wrong with another Hoover vacuum cleaner. I was wrong.Dissatisfied

I purchased a WindTunnel about 10 years ago and was very happy with it. In fact, I always recommended it to friends who were looking for a good vacuum. Now I'm embarrassed that I did, because it does not work nearly as well as the old one. Now I will try to repair the on/off switch on my older WindTunnel. CONS: Gone are the "tools on board" – except for the crevice tool which now is stored in the extension tube. So you can't just grab the hose without first removing the crevice tool (and then you have no place to put the crevice too while you're using the hose). You have to bend all the way down to the floor in order to 'release' the hose. You cannot attach or switch to a longer hose because this one does not detach from the machine. The roller brush does not agitate the carpet as well as the old one. The bag compartment is smaller than the old one. The brush attachment for the hose is tiny – meaning you have to spend more time vacuuming furniture. It feels cheap – but is only 3 lbs. lighter than the older model. PROS: They finally attached the hose to the vacuum near the bottom – so if you reach with hose it does not make the vacuum fall over. The on/off switch is a push button rather than a slider (which is easier for arthritic hands). I will either repair my old one, or buy another brand. Then I will relegate the new WindTunnel one to the upstairs bedrooms.Diane

This is my third purchase of this vacuum over the years and obviously I love it. Light weight and a dynamo cleaner it is also perfect for anyone with a limited weight carrying they can tolerate. The second vacuum was being used and abused by another person so the poor thing's motor died. BUT I immediately went on-line to find a replacement. I purchased this to sweep the laminate floors in my apartment. It was fine the first few months, but the quality dropped off sharply before I had owned it for a year. The roller would randomly lose power, even after I cleaned it and the roller. When I needed to buy replacement parts I was shocked at how expensive they were compared to other vacuums I have owned in the past. The lack of accessories was also disheartening. It works well as a dust-buster style handheld but is terrible as a floor sweeper. I only use it on my stairs now. I will use it until it finally dies, but do not feel confident purchasing another Dirt Devil product.Steven

My condo overlooks the Gulf in southwest Florida. I thought I'd be smart and put in no-see-'em screens on my lanai. Well the screens work great for the bugs = none. But the finer pitch of the screen also acts as a silt collector for the air flow. Then when it rains and blows, my sand colored lanai tiles and GROUT have dark silt remaining when dry. Previous method was to get the electric sweeper, attach long wand and brush head (not a brush roll) and suck up the silt. It didn't do well on the grout lines. Alternative was to use the steamer more frequently = pain. I wanted to simplify the cleaning. I looked at a lot of stick vacs but the DD22510 was the only one that had a powered brush roll, and high suction, ANNNNNDDDD let me take the unit as a hand held vac down 5 floors to my car thus avoiding dragging my huge sweeper along. Got the unit yesterday and tried it out on the silt I left accumulate for testing. Tried it today 7/15/19 and it works just outstandingly well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the support bracket is ill designed. When I put my powered carpet nozzle on and then attached the support bracket, and then moved the nozzle against the baseboard….the sticky tape surface on the back of the bracket is NOT parallel to the wall. I measured the angle and it's about 15 degrees off. Plus the well where the sweeper handle sets on the bracket is too shallow and the sweeper pops out too easily. Engineering needs to rethink. Otherwise I would readily recommend purchasing.Bally

I loved this vacuum. I used it all the time. It was perfect for my apartment. I used it to vacuum the vinyl flooring before mopping the floor. The problem is that the swivel on the sweeper head broke and there is no replacement parts. I was able to fix it using gorilla glue but that only lasted about 3 months. Now I have a dirt devil that is basically a handheld sweeper (aka dust buster type).Tonya H.

OMG! I didn't think it was possible, but I've fallen in love with a vacuum. Tried cordless before and dissatisfied with suction, battery life, etc. This model came with all the attachments I could possibly use. Suction is fantastic for any vacuum, let alone a cordless. I really loved this vacuum until the motor broke after only one year. I guess that’s what happens when you purchase a refurbished item vs a brand new one. The overall vacuum is great. The canister holds a lot before you need to empty it, and it truly lives up to being a “pet vacuum.” I have a husky and it was able to handle all of his fur. During the last decade and companies are working on designing vacuums that are lightweight, cordless, easy to navigate, and emptying canisters. Usually, we have several options out there in the market to choose from but none of them truly offers what I exactly need. besides to aforementioned specs, self-emptying is becoming a demand. Personally, I would prefer to buy vacuums with such a feature only because of time constraints that lead me to invest in robot vacuums even though they are not as powerful as the regular human-operated ones. I believe and after my experience with this LG CordZero, I found that this LG provides me with a lot of conveniences; it is an all-in-one vacuuming solution, lightweight, and truly cordless since the tower serves as a storage, charger, and self-emptying whenever the vacuum is docked. it has powerful suction and looks modern and stylish. The LG tower has two doors that serve as storage areas to store different attachments in each door compartment. In addition, The tower top is accessible it has a lid that can open up, and inside that small compartment, there is a charging station as well as a storage area for the second battery located underneath the top lid of the tower. This means there is always a spare charged battery that is always ready to use if needed. This top lid is a touch display where all touch control buttons are located such as auto mode, battery life, and dust emptying. This is more of a vacuum station than just a regular old vacuum. It's a bit pricey but it's still a great vacuum for your home. This is your typical stick vac with a auto-emptying hub. It's quite nice in that you can empty the vacuum manually however, the base station had a feature where you can auto-empty it whenever you dock the vacuum. The base station itself looks good and looks refined. It's not just some gaudy tower that you shove in a corner and have it looking like an eye sore. With the different color options, you could color coordinate it with your decor if you wanted to so that it's stands out less. the footprint of the base station is pretty small so you can store it anywhere really without it getting in the way. Included with the vacuum are your usual attachments like a crevice tool as well as a floor scrubber which is nice. It doesn't vacuum up the liquid so it's really just a scrubber. There is a separate head attachment for the scrubber as well as some extra velcro pads to use on the scrubbing head. The attachments store inside the base station except the scrubbing head which attaches to the side. This also comes with an extra bag and filter for the vacuum. Another nice feature is the extra battery. You store/charge the battery in the top of the unit so if you need to vacuum the whole place, you won't have to worry about running out of power midway through. This works ok for cleaning out your automobile too since it's portable however it's a tab bulky to get into some corners. Last feature is the compressor. With practically all these bagless vacuums, the center filter eventually gets clogged with debris so you need to disassemble the unit and clean that out properly to ensure proper suction. There is a lever on the bin that moves up and down on the compressor which allows you to scrape off a good chunk of debris on the interior filter without needing to disassemble it which I found to be quite beneficial. You'll still need to disassemble the unit for proper maintenance however, with this cleaner, you can do it far less. Only real knock to the is the price tag. It is expensive for a vacuum and you could easily find a stick vac or even a larger corded vacuum for much cheaper. That said, this is more of a lifestyle item where you can have a great functioning vacuum and have it look good in your home.LouRevue

I have recently gotten the LG Electronics CordZero Vaccuum and love so many things about this handy device! The vacuum came with so many assorted attachments including one for pet hair and a mopping attachment. It also came with an extra battery which I love! The run time on one battery is a little over an hour if I keep it in auto mode and don't switch to Turbo. I love having that extra battery on hand and charged up the Tower when I need it. One unique feature about the CordZero is that it's handy base recharges it, stores the extra parts, battery and attachments as well as has an Auto Empty feature for cleaning out the debris from the vacuum dust bin! I love that is takes one more clean up step out of my normal routine! The tower is makes keeping all of the extra things that can be used with the vacuum so nice and tidy and in one spot for easy access. The vacuum is lightweight and the main attachment is easy to get around and under furniture. I like that the main attachment head is a bit smaller than some of the others I've seen as it can really get into tight spaces and under chairs. I love that when I turn it on, I don't have to keep holding down on a button to keep the suction going as I've had to do on vacuums I've had in the past. It does seamlessly from my hardwood to my tile to my carpet rugs and has a great Turbo mode that can be turned on for those places I worry have extra hard to reach dirt. The CordZero even has ap app that you can connect to that will show you run times. extra info on the troubleshooting and battery life. I think one of the super exciting things about the CordZero is that it has a mop attachment. Although this feature didn't live up to my expectations, I'll thrilled of the idea of a vacuum/mop combo! The mop attachment has a place to put in water and it has little round pads that velcro on to the vacuum and spin around once you start it up. You can control the amount of water that comes out (it has a low to high setting) but the problem I had was that I didn't think it really "mopped" my floor. There was moisture but it can't be used with soap or cleaner of any kind and I just don't feel like my floor are properly "mopped " with just a slight layer of water. I used the microfiber mop heads for about 15 minutes on my tile while I was trying out the mopping feature and once done, the mop heads were already frazzled and looked to be coming undone. I love the IDEA of the mop combo, but in my ideal world, it would have been able to be used with a cleaner to really get it good and clean and I would have more function in the amount of water that comes out ( I couldn't tell much difference in the low or high adjustments on the mop attachment). Also, the suction is turned off when you use the mop attachment and I would love to see a function added to be able to use the mop with water and cleaner and then have it sucked back up or go back over the water with a drying function. Again, I love the idea, but feel like the mop attachment could have some improvement to make it a 5 star product. I do like that the mop attachment has a little blue light that shines to help show you where the water is on the floor. Overall, I am thrilled with the uniqueness and creativity that this LG CordZero Vacuum brings to my home. The tower with it's multitude of functions is a real game changer in my book!hjh2c

I have been through so many stick vacs for quick cleanups. They were all terrible in one way or another – or many different ways… This one beats them all in the following ways: -Easy and clean to empty dirt – two filter pieces stay together and come out and go in easy -Stands up reliably without tipping over if bumped -ACTUALLY CLEANS!!! -front roller comes out for easy cleaning of hair and other things that get wrapped around it ALSO has the following that my others have not: -removable hand dust buster – amazing for small spaces with no need to store an extra item -LED lights – never knew I needed them, but they sure are handy -folding handle – just kinda cool space saver -onboard attachments for the dustbuster I have been buying one stick vac after another (probably 10 in total) over the past 12 or so years and they were all terrible. I was about to give up and just find more convenient storage for my big canister vac, but thought I'd give it one last try! I've only had it a month, so not sure about longevity, but certainly a winner based on features!!!molly

Love the idea of the little vacuum. I just don’t understand why black and decker made it sooooo weak. I have to go over one area 2-3 times to pick up everything. I’m not expecting Dyson strength but also not something that makes noise but does not feel like it’s sucking up particles. It almost feels like a toy. B&D if you read reviews please fix this vacuum make it more powerful but with the same design. Every other cordless vacuum out there is top-heavy and it’s so uncomfortable. Your design is perfect. Also the charging plug in is annoying to plug in. It has to be in an exact rotation to be able to be plugged in. Sadly I will have to return it.Dasha

I would rather lick my floors clean than spend my hard earned money on such a useless piece of equipment again. I have previously had a Bosch and Phillips stick vac and both were great but struggled to sustain enough battery to do my whole house. I purchased the Ryobi one as I loved the changeable battery idea. It sucks hair & dog hair fine… but if you want to see anything else get cleaned up… buy a different unit. It takes great delight in picking up everything larger than 2ml and spitting it directly behind you leaving a wake of rubbish confetti. I just love looking up my hallway and seeing what looks like the ants version of a festival clean up. This is the single most useless piece of equipment I own.Jazmin

I've purchased this vacuum once and am having replaced under warranty for a third time for the same reason. The brush motor head keeps burning out, rendering it useless. Overall: The vacuum has subpar suction if the brush is in place but not spinning. Removing the brush allows for much better suction on hard surfaces (which is great when the motor is dead) The dustbin is always clogged which means reduced suction and more frequent emptying. The unit is generally heavy to lug around. The attachments are loose fitting and fall out if you look at them wrong. Runtime varies between 20-40 minutes (with brush vs without) The warranty replacement is fantastic. I can't in good conscience recommend this product to anyone.Rollie

So firstly I ordered this Ryobi stick online and the Bunnings service was exceptional. I thought I'd try a Ryobi because I have quite a few other Ryobi products and batteries. Well WOW – this thing absolutely sh….ts on my other well known cyclonic stick vacuum that cost me over $1000 and now needs a new main body after its done barely any work in the 3 years I've had it. The Ryobi has strong suction, literally picks up everything, it is comfortable to to hold, really easy to manoeuvre as it has a better slightly smaller sized head. I used a 2.5amp battery because it was lighter and I still vacuumed for ages. I wouldn't say its overly noisy, that motor is working hard to lift floor debris. As this product develops, the method for emptying of the dirt barrel could be addressed but this unit is magic and Ive recommended this to all my friends – big thumb up.Heidi

I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks and I don't have a single complaint yet. I really love how it was designed. It is very sturdy, yet light enough to easily maneuver around the house and over any type of floor surface. The vacuum head swivels effortlessly and intuitively. I especially love the headlight feature which really helps with picking up things in small crevices and under furniture. I have a large long-haired dog and this vacuum picks up the hair without any issues! The battery is very compact; the charger takes up no more space than my single-serve coffee maker as shown in the photo. Charging only takes a few hours and delivers ample runtime for me to vacuum all three floors of my house. The dust/waste bin is easy to empty and clean. Also, the extra two nozzle heads come with a holder than conveniently & cleverly snaps onto the neck of the vacuum handle, so you always have what you need to get the job done! Overall, I LOVE this product. It is the best of both worlds between a clunky traditional corded vacuum and the compact but underperforming handheld vacuum.tfunny

Had this vacuum for roughly 18 to 24 months, has worked pretty flawlessly up until I dealt with the dreaded brush head issue I read others similarly having, after a search of google and Craftsman and finding zero real solutions, I DID NOT spend $200 on a "throw away and buy new" appliance, that simply isn't the United States I grew up in. Anyway, after a week of the head turning on only to shut down after 2 or 3 seconds, I started my disassembly quest by removing the head assembly and looking at the bottom, where I found a red tab with arrows pointing up. I then held said tab with one finger while prying the brush head out with a flat head screwdriver. I clean the brush head. We then see a red gear at the end with a tiny screw holding it, take your tiny phillips head scredriver and remove screw. Gear will be reluctant but wiggle it on out with small pliers or maybe flat screwdriver. THAT was where my problem lied as 18 months of tiny carpet fibers had gotten in there to cause enough friction to stop brush head. Remove the foreign matter and (optionally) apply just a drop of 3 in 1 onto the metal surface. Reverse to reassemble and you may have just saved some aggravation dealing with a silly warranty process or quite possibly some money. SBD Craftsman should be paying me for all the ambassador work I do for them as a DIY nobody, I tell ya hwut. Only problem I'm presently having is the weak "standing" mechanism when the vac isn't being used, it can stand on its own for an hour or so before it wants to lean either way and inevitably falls to the side. It is closet kept where I lean it up against the wall so it's not as big of a deal to me. But can be aggravating between breaks. Would definitely reccomend!! Just don't buy from Lowe's, shopping Amazon or Ace comes with ALOT more dignity in supporting an actual hardware store, Thank you.Kazi9

I've been using this stick vac every day for over a week and that's about 6 times more than I used my traditional corded vacuum. The convenience of not being limited by the length of a cord and wall outlet availability makes it a game changer for me. The motor is strong and cleans as well as my 110v corded vac, but with less noise. The ability to disable the brush makes cleaning tile/wood floors a completely different experience. The 3 power settings are perfectly located to cycle between with your thumb so that you don't suck up a floor mat when transitioning from wood/tile to rug/mat. The ability to detach the motor from the stick and use the brush head in a stubby fashion makes cleaning carpeted stairs unbelievably easier than my traditional stick vac. I have used the shorty to clean the couches and used the adapters to clean under the cushions. With the stick attached to the broom head I can reach under furniture much farther than my old stick vacuum, the LED lights also help find all your kids toys that were lost before sucking them up. The vacuum is very low profile and almost lays down flat so you don't have to move furniture around to clean. Very nice and time saving! The broom head pans from side to side while using the vacuum and I found this to be annoying when trying to go fast. I discovered a way to lock the head and am able to maneuver the vacuum more aggressively without the head flopping around. Craftsman should address that in future revisions of the vacuum, I could see someone making a kit as an "upgrade" and selling those… The wheels on the broom head are nice, but I've found them to be a little lacking when it comes to maneuverability. If the wheels were replaced with ball casters then you would have infinite movement in your X and Y axis and could slide the vacuum in any direction to reach around obstructions. I hope this is something that Craftsman would consider for future releases. The battery life is short lived with the included 2 Ah battery, but enough for me to complete about 1,500 sqf. With an additional battery or (4 Ah) you can accomplish more work. I found myself trying to race the battery to get the cleaning done, which opened my eyes to the swiveling head and rigid wheels. Cleaning is easy. Pull the container, push a button (over a garbage can) and empty the contents. The twisty knob agitator cleans fine particles from the filter (much better than banging it on the garbage can or your other hand). I wish there was a vacuum float gauge you could monitor to quickly determine the health of your filter. I've seen welding helmets with clear tubes filled with small plastic balls and graduations on the tube that let you see air flow. This would make replacing the filter more accurate than just throwing it away and buying a new one every 6 months. I really enjoy using this vacuum and find myself looking for reasons to use it. I LOVE my Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum cleaner! I vacuum my house at least daily due to having one big dog and 2 cats that all seem to shed. I usually end up purchasing a new vacuum every year. I have owed so many vacuums over the years and I have never bought the same one twice. I think I have found my forever brand and model with the Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum! I love how powerful this vacuum is! After one vacuum, I was amazed at how much hair was in the canister! I love that the vacuum is lightweight since I have to carry it to three different floors in my home. I like the different settings for both the carpet and the hardwood as my home has both types of flooring. The suction on this vacuum is so powerful, you will be amazed! The tools that came with this vacuum are awesome! The quick release cleaning wand is perfect to clean those high areas and the dusting brush is extremely helpful with cleaning the blinds, curtains and ceiling fans. My favorite attachment tool though is the pet turbo tool! This tool is so easy to use and gets all the hair off my couches and steps! Thank you Hoover for making such a powerful vacuum cleaner! The overall feel of this vacuum cleaner would best be described as cheap. The plastic used for the housing is flimsy and the handle itself feels unsecure. The dirt collection canister is difficult to release due to the manufacture glue holding the flap in place. The brush attachment stopped working within 10 minutes of use and when it does run the attachment provides poor cleaning power. Overall I am not satisfied with the vacuum and I have begun my return of the item. I purchased this and a Hoover carpet cleaner and I am just as displeased with the cleaner.Bill

I've had this vacuum for a b little over a year as a spare for upstairs. I don't use it that often and it had worked fine for what I needed. Then it shut off the other day while using it. I discovered hair clogs in the hose. Seriously disappointed since this is specifically for households with pets. I cleared the clogs, cleaned the brushroll and tried again. There was very little suction and it still turned off after a few minutes of use. I took out the filters & made sure they were clean. I was actually surprised at how clean they were. Tested it again this morning and there is still no suction. It gets hot and shuts off. Not sure if I should spend the money to get it services or just throw it away. I don't remember if I registered it for the warranty and there doesn't seem to be a way to check the website.Candace

I researched for quite a while before settling on the V11. In every single review the V11 used the High Torque head. I didn't even realize another head was available on the V11 because I don't believe there ever was before. They do state what it is in the description but I doubt most people will notice, like I didn't. The problem with the Motorhead this version comes with is that it doesn't work on deep pile as well and it just pushes around larger debris on hard floors. It also doesn't have the holes on the side for edge cleaning. Aside from that, this works well. The amount of hair it pulled out of the carpet that my premium corded vacuum left behind is pretty remarkable. It's quiet and easy to use and comes with a lot of useful tools. The trigger is annoying, not because it's difficult or tiring to pull but because of the way it makes a lot of the vacuum weight rest on top of your finger. It gets uncomfortable after awhile. I would still recommend the V11, just not this version. I feel that Dyson putting a head on here from a couple of generations ago and calling it a sale is misleading.plmn

Bought it a few days ago and right away I put it to the test. —LONG REVIEW— First off, my old vacuum: Was using 7 year old corded vacuum that I had to dismantle (full dismantle with screwdrivers) a few times a year just to keep it running efficiently. It was cumbersome and heavy and I thought it was doing a thorough job. Was a hassle to clean the house with it. Compared to this vacuum, my old clunker was barely trying. The Dyson Animal V10: For the first clean I ran it hard, and I mean hard. It ran about 25 minutes on the highest setting, to be expected for the battery life. It pulled dirt, hair, dander… you name it it pulled it from the carpet. I just stood there shaking my head because I truly thought my last vacuum was cleaning as it pulled dirt too but, not like this. This Dyson is an efficiency king. The next run: I put it on the middle setting. Ran for about 40-45 min before it needed to rest/cooldown and recharge. In that time; I did the hardwood floors, kitchen, went back over the carpets, hallway, got the cobwebs out of the ceiling corners (couldn’t do that with my last vacuum!) and again…. The amount of dirt it pulled up! All the hard surface floors I was sweeping the traditional way first then vaccuming with my clunker and then having to go back behind it with a static collection pad on a swiffer then mop. You get the idea…. Long and tedious. A task I could do once a week. With this Dyson, it’s a daily spruce up now. Heck, it’s going to reduce the amount I mop simply because of how well it cleans the floors! I swear it polishes them from how the brushes are on the floor. After this clean: (cleaning the vacuum itself) I read the manual and decided to learn how to clean the vacuum and set to task. No screwdrivers needed. It’s easy to wipe out with a damp cloth, to clear the brushes with debris. All you need is a keyring, the metal ring itself to easily turn the dials on the two brush heads to release the brushes. The ease of cleaning the vacuum was not even comparable to my old one. The Dyson took me 10 minutes. Albeit I had to air out the filter after I rinsed it out which took a while. Just have to let that rest and I recommend having a fan blow air onto it so it dries faster. 3rd clean: Lowest setting, just a touch up. I thought I did an amazing job the past couple days but this thing surprised me still. The canister was halfway full of fur, dander, and things as I quickly took 15 min to do my house. This thing just can’t be beat. On the lowest setting, it was still able to show me that it was working hard. Even when the previous two days I put it to the test and thought there was no way there was anything left, this thing proved me wrong again. Battery didn’t even drop a bar on the display and it cleaned what my dog managed to shed the previous night. All in all: This thing is lightweight, easy to change attachments, and can’t be beat in its efficiency of dirt collection and disposal. It’s also easy to clean and take care of. After 3 days, my house is much cleaner. I do have to say though, this thing made me feel like I was living in filth and that I had never cleaned in my life. It put my Previous vacuum to absolute shame. All that time spent with my old one seems like wasted efforts compared to this Dyson beast. Alas; I have this thing now and sneezing less! Bonus: it’s much quieter! My dog doesn’t run from it anymore. He actually likes it! Con: one attachment I wish dyson would make for these, a hose attachment. Cause this thing would be amazing for cleaning out a car but it’s a bit bulky to get under seats. In fact, a hose would help for any tight spaces. Just hold the unit on one hand and clean with the other with whatever other attachment you need on the opposite end of the hose. So all in all, this vacuum is well worth the price. 5/5. The Good: The vacuum unit itself is exceptional, with excellent suction, ease of maintenance, run time, and insofar longevity; it competes well with your average full-sized canister vacuums, which is truly impressive given the size of the Dyson. The hype, on this front, is valid. The Bad: However, the well-built central unit is let down by tools and accessories with components made from fragile, heat-molded plastic. Essentially, only the mechanical drive components are made from metal (I think), but everything else is plastic. While Dyson boasts that the main machine body is made from "ABS Polycarbonate" (think: riot shields), the smaller components seem to be made of high-density polyethylene or similar material. Our smaller motorized head unit suffered a breakage in the head-to-guard joint, which should not be the case for a relatively new, seldom used part. The use of brittle plastic in such a high-wear area by the spinning rotor seems at best poor design, at worst planned obsolescence. I understand that full-metal construction is a thing of the past, but "full-plastic" construction is not a viable alternative; some components need to be metal, full stop. The Ugly: Unfortunately, warranty details are misleading as they apparently do not include the tools, and nowhere in the warranty documentation provided was there a distinction between "tools" and the "unit." While I understand that normal wear-and-tear is to be expected and therefore not covered by warranty, I am disappointed with the craftsmanship of a really expensive product that utilizes non-durable heat-molded plastic for high-stress areas, specifically around moving joints. The concern is that having both motorized head units break renders the unit unable to clean carpet or furniture fabric, reducing 90% of its utility, and will cost you ~$200 extra to purchase the new motorized heads. In closing; a great unit overall, but my confidence in the product is let down by the fragility of the core tools and some of the convenient language of the warranty provided. I was a bit worried with so many negative reviews, but I love this vacuum. It is so light and easy to carry around. It picks up everything as long as you frequently empty the filter. I also take a can of compressed air to blow the filter clean from the inside out. It is well made, and all the parts fit well. I like the floor cleaner for picking up pet hair because it has no rollers where the hair gets tangled. The blue color is beautiful, and the unit leans against the wall without falling over. The cord could be a bit longer, but I have a lot of outlets, so no problem. I am very happy with the purchase. The price was very reasonable.Nancy

I bought this vacuum to replace my old Shark. This one is more comfortable to use due to its long hose and 4-point swivel casters. Very easy to reach any spot under furniture. My house is a mixture of carpet, hard floors, and large rugs, and I was worried that it would be problematic to clean everything properly. But the suction is fantastic; I can use different settings of cleaning power to quickly clean the pet hair and dirt throughout the house. It's a bit heavy and problematic for the stairs, but due to the long hose, the problem can be resolved fast. The container is very easy to empty. Due to a large 11 m cleaning radius, you can clean large rooms easily. The short hairs that are usually embedded in fabrics are easily removed. Very impressed by the amount of fine dust captured. Also, it is very easy to store, and the on-board storage is great for keeping the dusting brush and upholstery, crevice, and flexible nozzles all in one place and within easy reach. I highly recommend this vacuum, it's very much worth its price tag.Laura

I am allergic to animal hair and our kids have a cat so i am very sensitive to an effective cleaning. The suction on this thing is incredible although the noise isn't that loud. It's not light, but probably no heavier than other similar sized cylinder vacuums and for the most part you won't need to carry it as it's on wheels, it's just stairs where you might need to. I can reach half way up my stairs just with the main pipe and half way down. You can tell it's superb quality and does the job. It is super easy to put together and very easy to empty, with a clear instruction booklet. It's also bagless and fascinating to see what you collect in the container. It uses a single cyclone system which seems to be far more effective than others. It has a great self clean mode to regularly clean out the dust filter too and keep the suction strong so every so often you're meant to take that part out and give it a rinse. My rhinitis is very thankful to the power of this vacuum.Gabo

With Miele you suspect a certain level of quality but in a saturated market it's still sometimes difficult to justify the cost of an item like this when others are supposed to be the best ones on the market. You soon realise the CX1 is worth every penny once you open the box. Every part of the vacuum cleaner design is well considered, every plastic piece has a quality feel and the fit and finish is excellent and the number of tools packaged meet all your needs. In use it's quiet compared to others and the suction is incredibly powerful and the vacuum unit stable – especially compared with a "drunk" Henry that seems to want to cling to everything and topple over. You can see the carpets lift as you move across them with the easy to hold hose and even just after using a Dyson or the Henry in the same space it still picks up a lot of dust that has been left by the others. My only criticism is that when doing a fantastic job of picking up long hair this quickly tangles around the brush and isn't the easiest to remove without tools / cutting. All in all a great product that's incredibly good at what it's designed to do.Michael

I'm a woman with Cerebral Palsy who uses a power wheelchair for mobility. A vacuum can be hard for me to use & steer my chair so I have always wanted a robot vacuum for times when my aides aren't around & messes happen. I received this last Thursday & it has been truly amazing! I initially had some trouble getting it to connect to my WiFi but the problem solved itself. Setting up the base was simple & it charged quickly. It has a clean & dock button as well as a camera/sensor on the vacuum itself. I let it run on clean cycle which was about an hour. In 30 mins it did its first self emptying. It made a decent map of my home layout (in the shark clean app). I love that I can schedule times for it to begin cleaning & also tell it when to return to the dock to empty & charge. I have a Siamese cat & it works great to pick up the fur & liter! I've already emptied the dust bin once & washed the filter, both were very easy to do & I had no issues. I also figured out how to take out the brush roll if needed. This has been a huge help in maintenance of my carpets & keeping my home clean. I'm loving this vacuum!!Nene87

Having both two dogs and two grand kids in addition to tile floors in the busiest part of the house, without at least once daily sweeping, it can easily get to a point where there is enough sand and dog hair to be more than noticeable. I currently have a robot vacuum that does great on my carpeted areas and due to the house plan I either need to move it to the tile floors or simply go with another vacuum as it cannot transit in between. Due to the high traffic in the tiled areas a Self-Empty is a must have feature, enter the Shark EZ Robot Self-Empty vacuum. I have several Shark/Ninja products and already trust the quality and reliability of them, so the Shark EZ was a no brainer for me, so lets get into this great little vacuum! Packaging/in the box – The Shark EZ Robot Self-Empty vacuum came in what I consider standard egg crate packaging that kept the vacuum and base station well protected even with some serious rough handling on the outer box to the point there was a crushed zone. Everything was easily located and simple to setup. The Shark EZ comes with a landing pad for use on carpet (I intend to use this on tile, so this was not required in my case), Two spinner brushes, the instructions and quick start information, the Shark EZ robot unit, the Self-Emptying base, and of course two preinstalled filters. Everything was protected by plastic bags and clear film strips. Removal of the protective strips was easy and left no residue. If I had any complaints here it would be the lack of spare filters. I only bring this up as most robot vacuums I have looked at seem to come with at least one set of extra filter(s). That said the Shark filters are reasonably priced, so it is a pet peeve in a way. Setup and use – As I have come to expect from the Shark/Ninja products I currently have that use apps, the setup was mad simple. First set the base in a suitable area that provides three feet of clearance right and left and five feet of clearance directly forward of the base station. Turn both the base and the vacuum on and dock the vacuum. Scan the QR code and install the app, in my case I use android so this installed from the play store and was up and running, including account creation and pairing of the Shark EZ, in about five minutes total. I have had this out on it’s first two cleaning missions and was very impressed on how quickly it mapped our floor plan. All in all the tiled area is around 450 sq ft and has a few obstacles the most complicated being a tripod that it handled very well. Clean time was around 28 min each time and it did amazingly with the amount of sand and pet hair it had to deal with! Note that while this robot does work with both google home and amazon alexa we chose to use this solely via the app and have it scheduled to clean twice daily. All in all I am extremely happy with the cleaning time, navigation capabilities and performance of the Shark EZ Robot Self-Empty vacuum, see below for my Pros and Cons: Pros 1) While I do not have the exact capacities the Shark EZ robot dust bin appears to be around the nine ounce range while the base station bin best I can tell is around one quarter gallon. Both are, to me a bit larger than expected 2) Handled pet hair and sand on the tile floor perfectly 3) Better navigation than we have seen in other units Cons 1) None as of the time of this reviewBlackOmega

We love owning a robot vacuum. Recently gave our Roomba series 900 to our son and daughter-in-law, I needed to find a replacement. Roombas prices have increased significantly since we purchased ours so we looked for an alternative. The Shark had good reviews and was considerably less money for what appeared to be similar features. The good things: it does what you would expect. It maps the house, vacuums, returns to the base when it needs to be charged, and automatically empties the bin into the base container. The bad: we’ve been using it for a month now and it still will not map our entire house and it skips portions of two rooms. We have to section off that room and do a special manual vacuuming with the robot to get it clean. It also does not have the same suction and overall power that the rumba did. It leaves behind a crumbs and debris on the floor that our rumba would have picked up. There is a feature in the app that allows you to increase the power, but I have yet to figure out how to set that as default. You have to turn it up while the job is running. It reverts back to normal power for the next job. Also, right out of the box the robot squeaks when it operates. Due to having less power, it is not as noisy as the Roomba, but the squeaking is quite annoying. Three stars for us is a C rating. It is adequate, and since we spent less money than a Roomba, we got what we paid for.Bot 1

Out of the box, the vacuum was great. Sucked up everything. Within a month, it was basically a glorified hand vacuum. The only way I can get it to do anything is to use remove the hose and the attachments. The actual suction when using it upright is terrible. It vibrates like a dolphining F1 race car, makes a hideous popping and hissing sound from the side, and worst of all, leaves fuzz, dirt , and giant hard balls of lint all over my floors rather than actually cleaning them. Using this vacuum is more work than simply using a broom and a hand held dirt Devil. Customer service was helpful in trying to fix the issues but the suggested solve didn't work. The vacuum is a lemon…complete waste of the time and money spent.Card Lady

It does quality performing for pet hair to include the turbo extension tool for upholstery. DO READ ALL the instructions so you know how to properly use it. Don't assume! The tools are ill placed with the placement and storage of the electrical cord (always falling off). The telescope for the hose to attachments doesn't lock properly and always ALWAYS pushing back in. I don't have an issue with pet hair on the roller getting stuck, but I do with human hair and any amount of length to trash. The spot where the hose connects to the canister is constantly getting clogged because it is small and narrow, needs to be wider. Pay CLOSE attention when taking the filter out of the canister and putting it back; there is a reason it is meticulously marked. The alignment must be perfect or it won't go back together properly; this is the same for everything on the vacuum. Hard to push when vacuuming (hence one of the reasons I said to read instructions carefully)? You have to provide some air to release the amount of suction, so it moves easier with the little knob on the left; by the way, it moves also on its own.feltermail

Within 1 minute of its' first use this model #2475 Pet Hair Eraser Turbo had its' brush roll stop spinning before a small 10×10 foot area was complete. The belt assembly is centre mounted so debris from both sides of the brush roll collects towards its' centralized belt motor which sits open with nothing to protect it from debris. This results in it being the furthest thing from the "tangle free" unit it is advertised as. Removal of the head screws holding the bottom cover in place is quite easy so I was able to see what was causing the jam (see picture attached). The manufacturer claims the unit can accept hair length of 4-8 inches. The longest of the hairs in this pictures is 3 inches, so the job in question should have been well within the manufacturer's guidelines. Upon reassembling the base the unit promptly got jammed a second time. After once again removing the clog I decided to give it a different task, cleaning hardwood. This unit has a key feature for those with hardwood floors, its' brush can turn on/off, saving your hardwood from being scratched by the roller. Sadly there is very little suction (see video attached). I found without the brush roll spinning the machine picks up essentially nothing. The last major feature this unit is its' heavily marked "pet hair eraser" attachments. The Pet Turbo Eraser" is nothing more than the same "turbo brush" or "handi-mate" that has been commonplace on vacuum's since the 1950's. The "two in one" pet brush is a traditional fabric brush as is the crevice tool. There is nothing fundamentally different with these attachments than what is industry standard from most vacuum suppliers. I've had Bissell units before, the last being the significantly cheaper "Clearview Alergen Lift-Off Pet Upright Vaccuum." It lasted 2 years before dying a few weeks after its warranty expired precipitating the purchase of this Turbo model. All in all a poor vacuum. Don't buy this.Jimmy

I've had experience with some sort versions the randomly go around and clean the place. I love how this one navigates. It's pretty smart and doors a great job at creating an interactive map so you can markup areas you don't want it to go. The cleaning power is good, and will even go back to charge, and continue cleaning once recharged (if needed). The only thing I don't like is the way you have to empty the bin. It's not very convenient. I always end up having to shake the bin and tap it against the garbage can to get everything out. With good lighting you can see that dust ends up going up in the air when doing that. Additionally if does get stuck in stone random places sometimes. The unit came with magnetic strips, and i thin I need to install those in the places it seems to be having trouble (under a specific bed frame foot, under a specific kitchen island cabinet door, going over a side table foot that is 1" high.)PAULO

First the good. The D7 Botvac cleans well, is reasonably quiet, and leaves nice, straight lines in the carpet. But…after several months the bot keeps losing the floorplan and refusing to leave its base. I'm only using it on one floor, it's in the exact same place it's always been (the base unit is taped to the floor to be sure it doesn't move), but nearly as often as not the unit gets confused and won't run. I've spent too much time talking and emailing with Neato's support staff (most of whom do not speak or write very well), following all their instructions and suggestions repeatedly. Still the D7 Botvac is very hit and miss, often creating more work and much more stress than just pulling out my Kenmore upright vac and doing the cleaning myself. In short, I love the idea and functionality of robot vacs and plan to buy another, but it will not be a Neato for certain sure.Craig

I have a neato D4. It took me a minute to get used to it but I finally figured it out. I've had it for about a year and a half and it just stopped working. The green and blue light just blink back and forth and it would turn off when I took it off the base. I texted customer support and did some troubleshooting. Even though our connection got dropped a couple times (because I have not so great internet) we were able to reconnect easily. It was determined I need to send my D4 in and the rep sent me a shipping label. The turnaround time was incredible. Now I have my vacuum back and it's working great! This vacuum is light weight and easy to use EXCEPT the on button is just above the button that opens the dirt container . Every time I vacuum, by accident, I open the dirt container and dirt goes everywhere! Its a mess! This happened to a couple people who tried to help me as well. What a horrible design error!!! Plus the dirt container is very small and needs to be emptied often…unless you vacuum with it open!! I purchased it because my health is failing and I needed something lightweight and easy to use.. Also the main opening in the floor portion totally plugs and the entire bottom piece needs to be taken apart and you need a bottle brush or a something long enough to push the plug of dust or whatever out of the elbow (which you can straighten). Its not difficult, but annoying and messy as well. I would never recommend this vacuum to anyone, its too much work and too much money for the horrible design. I would send it back, but its been way too long.pattysev

I love Shark products. I have been waiting for the TSV and for this vac to be back in stock. I purchased rose gold, blends well with a neutral palate. I still use my original upright Shark vacuum purchased from QVC (10 years) which is a beast at cleaning my tile, wood and carpet floors. I use a robot vac for 1/3 of my floors that are not heavily traveled. The top of the line name brand R- robo vact does a ok job, but it takes a long time and I needed a stick/handheld vac which I could use for small jobs in the kitchen, sunroom and run it over high traffic areas daily. It is quick and picks up well. It has a swivel head and lies down to get back and under furniture. The battery life last and I have never had trouble having is run out. This device is not a replacement for a quality upright vacuum. Nothing is. This vac is for small jobs, daily floor maintenance and I love it. You are able to buy a replacement battery from Shark if needed and I love that too. So many stick vacs end their battery life and you cant easily replace the battery. Not the case here, so this device will last a long time. The hand vac is handy (HaHa) for crevasse's, corners, and I have used the pet tool on my sofa and it does a great job with dog fur. The filter needs to be changed sometimes during a job based on how much stuff it has vacuumed up. I have not cleaned it yet, the manufacturer says to clean the filter monthly. Recommend this vacuum to help maintain clean floors especially in high traffic area and recommend it for any busy household.medicinewoman

I sehfvthe Bosch GAS 35M back. The auto filter cleaner feature emits a volley of mini sonic booms every 15 seconds. My two working dogs ran for cover. My neighbours probably thought there was a gun battle going on. If you value your sanity and your ear drums , steer well clear of this machine. The design of this feature has to be the most absurd, ill thought out and user unfriendly exercise in the history of history. Do not buy the Bosch GAS 35 M.highlyhiding

Excellent quality and very manoeuvrable for such a large piece of machinery. It has an adjustable range of suctions that will seemingly tackle all tasks and a simple press of a button will cut off the automatic filter cleaning system, once the machine has been switched on, if you are only using it for light cleaning duties. A medium sized L-Boxx clipped to the top of the machine is just right to stash all of the cleaning tools you are ever likely to need. Only criticism is that there are no lifting handles, should you wish to raise it over an obstacle and the handle on the L-Boxx is not strong enough for this task Finally, be prepared for the force and noise associated with the filter cleaning system – it is aggressive but does the job and also clears any blockages that might develop in the 5m hose.Brian

The Bosch GAS 55M AFC it's tool storage and cable hook could be done much better. The 3 piece steel pipe has no good place to be stored when not used (ALL 3 of them, not 1 or 2). Bosch you can do better then this.maribaril79
