Very High Gloss and Very Durable. I also make my own soft plastic fishing lures and this works fantastic as a sealer and protectan for my Plaster of Paris Worm Molds. 2 or 3 light coats into each worm cavity and they just slide out of the Molds with no sticking or tearing of the soft plastisol. The plastic worms also come out very smooth and shiny ! Great on floors. However, if you make your own Plaster of Paris Worm Molds, then this is the stuff to seal your molds with ! Don't waste your money on the cheap stuff. If you want your worms to peel out of your molds and are super shiny then you need the; Lalundmark Super Gloss Premium Acrylic Floor Wax !chippawa1020

I tried it on a linoleum that had been painted. It gave it a little bit of a sheen but not quite what I expected. Might try one more coat on floor.karibean

I have found this to be an excellent floor wax and it is very easy to apply and the finish is lasting and outstanding. No scrubbing required, just mop in on and there is your shine.cyclonicman

My local hardware store recommended Trewax High Gloss Premium Finish to seal and finish the floor. However the product does not take to the floor. It wont adhere to certain areas. The floor was free of dust. Companys web site doesn’t allow for questions. Keeps telling you the security code is wrong when it is not. Thank youJP22

I have used Trewax Indian Sand wax Maple like in color on my floors and kitchen cabinets for years. I can not find it now. Do you still make that color. It just says Indian sand on my old can. I don't how to get in touch with your company. Would you help me find this product. I love it.Ellielou2

This is good stuff at a very reasonable price. Totally clear. Some reviewers complain that the wax is dried out in the can. That's normal for paste wax. Just put some mineral spirits or citrus solvent on the applicator and that will soften the wax as you dab it into the can.anonymous

Always used Johnson paste wax.. but can't find any lately. So I tried the Trewax. I have to say I was impressed.. shined the floors very good .anonymous

It is not a wax as indicated by the name. It is a polish similar to a product by Bona. I wanted a wax to use with a floor polisher and this is not it.bvin5908

Who needs a house Perfume Spray when you can have this polish. Used on a carved elephant that had been standing in a window for around 10 years, it appeared OK but when I started to polish it was apparent that there was a lot of dust sticking to the body and in crevices. Used an Ultrafine abrasive pad with the wax as instructed by the tin and what a result. After a good scrub with the pad and wax and a two hour rest the dull surface was transformed into a glossy shine with the crevices now looking like wood again. Really brings out the grain and reveals the character of the wood. As the title suggests it smells great too. Will have to work round the house polishing all the other wood furniture now, may need another tin for that.MrFixandrefurbit

Am making a bench seat out of chunky wooden sleepers and bought this based on positive reviews and product description. Goes on well and soaks in to give the wood a nice waxy feel after buffing off half an hour later. I have applied about 5 coats now buffing between each one but it is still not giving a gloss shiny finish as described. Wood remains more of a satin appearance so now possibly wishing I had gone old school and just bought a gloss liquid varnish instead. Good product though and will be great for other furniture I have at home just not the gloss finish I had hoped for. For the last polish off I even used an electric buffer with lambswool bonnet in case my supply of elbow grease had not been good enough but no difference to the finish left. It remains stubbornly satin in appearance.PincherMartin

French limed oak beams 'lifted' and lightened the beams in our bedroom so they didn't feel like they were falling on our heads anymore. This product was excellent, easy to use and smells lovely too!! process we used worked a treat: 1. wash the beams with bicarb soda/H2O/vinegar and then let them dry 2.wipe dry-clean beams with Liberon Liming wax working 1-2 feet only. 3.Use LIBERON BLACK BISON PASTE WAX [clear or neutral] to essentially wipe back the liming wax until the beams are as white/light as you want them. You can use the amount of applications to control the shade. The more you put of the clear/neutral the more white smudge is wiped away. The last to be wiped away is the white in the wood grains. We left a mix of both. 4. once dry oil the beams with Tung Oil. Looks contemporary but still retains the historic affect too.Becabroad

It's an easy application anyone can handle. The issue I have with it is that it requires/recommends microfiber cloth to mop with it. I happened to have one laying around at home but if you don't have one, you need to get one or find an alternative. I didn't catch that at first and used the papertowel to wipe and it left a film of hazy residue on multiple spots which is unsightly. I mopped the area again with a microfiber cloth and went away. I was concerned it would leave chemical odors but it didn't. It contained a lot of different chemical material that makes me wonder what long tern effects it would have on the wood. Overall, it's a nice product to restore the dull surface if you have a hard time doing with normal cleaning.Hockeycc

I thought I would give this product a try, and I was happy that I did. Rejuvenate fills in the lines and cracks and restores the floor with a water based polyurethane. This has a satin finish, so the door looks shiny and natural when finished. This is a 32oz. bottle and will clean about 525 square feet of floor. This is by far the best floor rejuvenate product I have used. The process is easy, and only takes about 45 minutes and the cost is great compared to hiring a professional to do the job.Dman7576

I have been using some of the floor shine products on my hardwoods and have always been just sort of happy. Nothing I used on them was shiny enough. A friend recommend I try Bona. The product was no more expensive than the others I has been using. I noticed a difference right away! While my floors always had a sheen to them, the Bona made them look super shiny! I recently bought Bona wood cleaner and I bought a bottle of polish as well after reading the back of the polish and seeing no warnings about using it on pre-treated flooring. I loved the cleaner. I tried the polish on half of my floor because I thought it would enhance the already subtle shine that my pre-treated wood floor has. WRONG MOVE! Do NOT put this polish on a pre-treated floor or any floor that is already shiny. It created a thin film of gray haze. It was so noticeable next to the half of the floor that I had not used it on. After trying to order the polish remover online, I found that it was not available at Amazon, Lowe’s, Home Depo, Walmart, nowhere! I called Bona and told them my story. At first they wanted to tell me to put more polish on and that I hadn’t put enough on. I would not listen to that. Then they sent me a free bottle of polish remover which I was pleased about. My husband and I had to get down on our hands and knees doing small sections at a time, lots of work, arm pain, back issues, to get that polish off our floor. It took about 10 hours and ibuprofen. Be very very cautious of the polish. It SHOULD be clearly marked on the back “DO NOT USE ON PRE-TREATED WOOD FLOORS”. It is not marked. Further, when I went online I found many other horror stories from people. I will buy their cleaner again! I loved it! I will never buy their polish again and I warn all of you to be very very careful. They say to use on a small area first, but they do not give enough warning to use it on a very small area, let it completely dry, and then compare it to the before. Greetings Sir or Madame: I have been using the recommended Bona with the Young Baby Feet on Front of the Packaging for my Lifetime Mahogany Elm Wood Floors for many years, then I could no longer find it on my local store shelves. I tried the Newer, Water Based, Blue Colored, Bona, yet I never achieved, the same quality of Performance, as I had previously received, from the Bona mentioned earlier, than while using the Bona with the Young Baby Feet on Front of the Packaging. I then tried the Bona Polish. It did not work for me. Trying to remove it was a whole new different ballgame. Things became worst. My perfectly Great Looking, Mahogany, Elm, Lifetime, Warrantied, Full of Life, Wood Floors are now Dull, Lifeless, Filled with Streaks. The point of all of this is, I am not a flooring expert, therefore I do not know the solution to this problem. PLEASE HELP ME FIND, AN IMMEDIATE, PERMANENT FIX TO MY DILEMMA ! ! ! This wax filled in a scratch our dogs made on the floor pretty easily and nice, until I wiped it away as per step two and the scratch seemed noticeable again. I think this would be ideal if you add a little more than you may think if it's not hiding the imperfection well. I am going to try again with a thicker coat and see how it does. When I paired this with the Minwax Reviver afterwards, the scratch practically disappeared though, despite my thin coat of paste prior. Both together seem to be the dream team duo!Aml9274

We have quite old cabinets in our kitchen made of natural wood. Every now and then to freshen up, we use this wax and polish them. Now that it is spring cleaning time, it was time to do it again. It really helps to maintain and bring out the beauty of the wood texture and have it looking like new. We use it on paneling and wooden tables and chairs as well. I used this on a higher traffic area of my hardwood that is starting to wear from the dogs. Easy to use and doesn’t require the drying time of poly. Made fiberglass boat look like new. It held up thru the entire salt water boating season. Would highly recommend, and will only use this wax in the future. Goes on easy, dries quickly. Buffs up pretty nicely. Needed a few coats to bring a kayak back to a good shine. Don’t know about longevity yet. May try it on my canoe this fall. Tried it on the shower wall to see if it will slow that mold buildup. Seems to be delaying that process so far.T.B.

We were hesitant to use this as others had issues with application. We did our research and followed all of the instructions. We sanded our 100yr old Douglas Fir floors with a random orbital floor sander through 36/60/80/100 grit sandpaper. There was a lot of gouging and damage from previous owners. Most of it sanded out quickly. We vacuumed the walls and floors thoroughly with our Dyson and then wiped the entire floor slowly by hand with a warm water dampened microfiber rag. We then applied Minwax 1 Step Complete Floor Finish in Gunstock color with a satin sheen with a water-based Best Liebco synthetic stain pad on a pole. I applied stain to the pad and then pressed it into the paint tray to remove excess product. I slowly walked and kept even pressure on the pole, working quickly and keeping a wet edge. This is a water based product with poly in it as well. After 2 hours we applied a 2nd coat and it blended well and darkened the first coat just a bit. After that we waited 2 hours again and decided to put on a 1st coat of Minwax Ultimate Floor Finish in Satin sheen. Both of these products must be stirred slowly for about 10-15minutes to mix the thick layer that settles to the bottom of the can. DO NOT SHAKE POLY or it will bubble up. We used the same applicator pad but a clean, new one. I used the same technique for applying the Ultimate Floor finish, by applying the poly and then pressing the pad into the paint tray to remove excess. I then walked slowly down to one wall and then pulled the pad back across the same line slowly to remove any air bubbles. It turned out beautifully! There was a slightly uneven finish but I knew from research I just needed a 2nd coat to make it smooth as glass. So we waited the 2 hour dry time and against all recommendations from friends who work with oil based products, we DID NOT sand the floors with 220 grit sandpaper. After the 2 hour dry time, we put on a 2nd coat of Ultimate Floor Finish. It's beautiful and we were even able to walk up to bed an hour later in socks. We will give it 24 hours before more traffic and will wait the full 3 days before replacing furniture and rugs. Our home is old with lots of old poor paint jobs on the trim, so we will be sanding it all down and installing shoe moulding once the floors are fully cured. People complaining I think are mixing oil based and water based products or not following the easy instructions to wait 2 hours for recoating. We used water based floor product stain+poly and put this water based finish over the top with no sanding between coats and no issues at all in the final product. The dark areas of the floor had former wear and damage so we are satisfied with our outcome.ClarkFam5

Sanded floors 100 year old maple wood floors with drum sander and edger 20-60-100 grit. Floors had a lot of waxy buildup. Removed completely. Vacuumed room and washed walls. Applied two coats of the water-based Minwax Ultimate Floor Finish, glossy first and final coat with satin. No sanding in between coats as they were done within 24 hours. We will be applying one more coat in a few minutes, but very impressed so far. Water-based polyurethane cannot be directly applied to stained floors which is why I think some reviewers are having trouble with this product. We applied this product to bare wood. First time user. I sanded my floor all the way down and used Miniwax Ultimate Clear Satin. Floor looks amazing. Recommend using Duratool 18" Lightweight T-Bar. I was vacillating on spending another $40, but man am I glad I did. It helped put a light coat on to prevent pudding and bubbling. I did have to sand down a streak I missed that had too much on it, but I paid closer attention next coat! The other applicator would have held way too much polyurethane. Holds up really well to the daily and constant running, playing, and making-a potty mistake pack of 8 dogs. It is indeed, high shine, which I really admire. Application is straight forward: Just pour, close to the floor to avoid splash, and spread evenly across the floor, working in a 3 foot area. Walk away, wait about 30 minutes (humidity is high here) and smile when you return to a perfectly shiny floor. I use it on both linoleum and sealed wood. I will be buying this again, no doubt. Purchased the Zep Wet Look Floor Polish to treat my RV as per suggestions online. Verdict is still out as to whether it was a good choice. Easy to apply. Shipping was 2 days which was excellent. I may also try it on my wood floors in the near future.Carolyn

I love the look of my floor. Had my concrete floor finish only to be damaged by the building contractor painter's tape stuck to the floor. I used Zep cleaner and wet look finish and you cannot tell that the floor was damaged.Robin

This is the before and after in my house! A little goes a long way. Putting it down is easy, the hard part is the prep. The floors have to be almost perfect because and hair ir flaw is permanent once this dries. Use a brand new rayon only mop, cotton will leave fibers. It holds up well to large dogs. It says 4 coats, we were happy with 2. We had 89 cent wood look vinyl that looks dull, you can see the before and after photo. It does not look like cheap flooring now!Rudy

We purchased the Pledge Clean It Gentle Wood Floor Cleaner and Revive Floor Gloss to use on our 20 year old Tarkett engineered laminate flooring. We had regularly used Bona floor cleaner but wanted to kick the finish up a notch. Applied per instructions, we were pleased with the performance of the cleaner. The Revive is another story. We found that the best way to apply it was with a cotton Sh-Mop system that we have used for years with the Bona. Application had to be rather quick as the Revive tended to ‘dry out’ and smear without really drying out. Afterwards, it can be said that the floors were indeed shinier BUT the positives end there. Even though the floors are more shiny, they left a finish that is much more “grabby” without being sticky. There is no slide to the treated areas as on the original floor finish making chairs MUCH more difficult to push up to the table. We have used semi-hard plastic slides on the chair legs for years – they screeched and were very hard to push after using the Revive. I then replaced the plastic tips with felt pads which fared no better. Even though our floors did have areas that were more worn than others, we both agree that that original finish is/was preferred rather than the Revive disaster. We will not be making that mistake again – keep the Revive for making glitter Christmas ornaments and off your floors! SC Johnson, any response?Clockrestorer

This product left a white patchy film on my brand new laminate floors! I'm so upset! How do I remove it?! EVERYTHING!! Dust, footprints, sticks to the floor and after applying this product my floor has never looked clean again. I hope my floors aren't ruined. Hello, happy Monday to you! Well I hope you had a happy Monday so at lease one of us isn't going to bed tonight full of hate and rage. Why so angry do you ask? I am so glad you did! You see, I went to Wal-Mart last night and purchased a bottle of your quick shine floor polish. I recently bought a house with 2200sq ft of beautiful porcelain tile. After living here for 3 months with kids, doing what kids do as I am sure you understand, my floors were looking a bit dingy and dull. I purchased your product because of the promise of a beautiful shine, rejuvenating my floors. I started by cleaning my floors, making sure they were free of dirt and grime. Then I applied your magic elixir onto my floor, and spread it evenly throughout my house. I sat down on my couch, slightly sweaty but feeling accomplished, excited to see my beautiful floors shine at the end of the hour. *cue haunting violin shrieking* I stood up and looked at my floors. They didn't shine. They didn't glean. They were a muddy mess of cloudy horror. They looked like a public pool after a hot summer day, during the apocalypse. I almost cried. I followed the directions to a t. What happened I thought?! I then grabbed soapy water and a sponge, and spent the next 3 hours on my hands and knees scrubbing away the shame that coated my once beautiful tile floors. Tile by tile, I peeled away the layer of broken promises. 2200sq feet of broken promises. So now I sit here, sore… sweaty… angry and $8 poorer for it. I feel like I experienced an entire crappy relationship with that guy my parents told me not to date, all in one day. Thank you for listening to my story…. I am happy to share as I sit here waiting for my swollen muscles to stop twitching, and will be even happier to share with anyone who ever suggests your product for as long as I live. In fact, I will personally burn any bottle of holloway that enters my house on purpose or on accident, and drink wine and sing to the screams of the melting plastic as it bleeds it's juices into my fire pit. I do like this floor cleaner. Do i love it? No.. I like that i only have to spray it down on the floor and then mop it in! It's nice and easy. I have found, it works best for me, to take a bucket of plain hot water and then use my cleaner like normal, then use my hot water to rinse my mop in-between sections. I also found when i do my normal little sections, there ends up being streaky spots on my wood floors. So, i now do the floors in little sections per usual, and then before i move onto the next section, i do long nice strokes and then move on and i do that until the floor is clean. They're was still some streaks and stuff, but overall it's better than other products I've used before. I would say, try it if you want! It may work better for you than for me. I did have two bottles and i will use them, I'm just not sure if I'll be buying more when they're gone! 🤷kimber-lei.r

We had 3500 sq. Feet of unfinished smooth concrete slab and did not want to paint, stain or have it polished. All highly expensive, but let me tell you I did a small square in the closet and it looked amazing!! It gave the concrete the exact satin finish I was looking for! It looks so beautiful like gray marble and it's just indoor concrete. We were truly amazed at the results without spending thousands. It has no odor, goes on so easy, and I did my entire slab! For people in barndos or with a slab who don't want to spend a lot, this quick shine is beautiful on unsealed concrete! We couldn't be happier!!Cathy Schmidt
