I love all types of coffee depending on my mood, traditional, cappuccino, espresso and lattes, my new De'Longhi combination coffee and espresso all-in-one machine gives them all to me without me having to leave my house, when and how I want it. This being my first espresso machine, at first it looked a little overwhelming but, after reading the manual, it’s incredibly simple and intuitive. Although the De'Longhi is big, because it has both the drip coffee maker and the espresso machine in one, I was able to get rid of my traditional coffee maker. As an aside the De'Longhi is much more attractive on my counter and does make a statement. The traditional drip coffee maker side makes great coffee and the carafe is dripless when pouring the coffee (big improvement from my old coffee maker). It also has a timer and a bold setting, when you need an extra kick in the morning, that all are easy to use. The reusable filter is magnificent, and I think gives a more robust flavor then a paper filter. Making my first latte was a little nerve racking but, it went off without a hitch. The refillable reservoir must hold at least a liter or two of water so it lasts many drinks. After buying the correct grind at the store, picking and packing the correct insert was a breeze. The De'Longhi has a process of turning on and warming up before pressing the brew or milk frothing buttons. Once they light up without blinking, you just push the button until its filled to the amount you want (espresso, cappuccino, latte or other). You can also brew two cups at the same time which is very nice when making after dinner drinks for my wife and myself. The milk frother again is simple but takes practice, it only takes a little milk to make a lot of froth. The frother does swing so it can be tucked in when not in use. As an added benefit, both sides work independently so you can brew a pot of coffee while making espresso when entertaining. I have found that the learning curve is pretty quick and after a couple of practice runs, I was able to make coffee shop quality drinks. All in all, the De'Longhi all in one is a hit. We waited about a month before our machine arrived due to item being out of stock (definitely not crate and barrels fault!). It arrived in March and the machine looked beautiful!! It’s July and the espresso side has completely stopped working. We only made espresso on some weekends so we probably didn’t use it 100x. Now we have an expensive machine that can only make regular coffee and I could’ve just bought a much cheaper machine for that. I think my Keruig was 1/2 the cost and lasted me 5+ years whereas this machine lasted 5 months. We very much regret our purchase. Also when the espresso side was working, it made very watery espresso. Other reviews have stated that their espresso was delicious but that was not our experience.Stacey

This is a stunning piece of equipment, but it’s functionality is annoying. It is certainly complicated at first, and we spent a week playing with it, making countless beverages that weren’t so pleasantly tasteful. If you prefer a coffee/espresso maker that’s straight forward, gets the job done, this one might not before you. The milk steamer/frother: Sprays all over the place East to burn your self Espresso maker: Difficult to use at first. I found a cheaper espresso maker that was much more convenient, and delicious. Coffee maker: Cone, reusable filter. Can be difficult to clean, so I used a disposable filter to protect the reusable filter. Comes with a carafe. This coffee maker brews GREAT coffee! If I could purchase just the coffee brewer on its on, I’d certainly take it!SiriusBlack

Dell – Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One – Intel Core i7 – 16GB Memory – NVIDIA GeForce MX550 – 1TB SSD. It's nice to see Dell release their Inspiron 27 with the new 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor on board. The Inspiron All-In-One series is a perfect place for this new 10 core 12 thread processor. This mobile processor has 2 high performance cores and 8 efficient-cores along with a max clock speed of 4.70 GHz. This packs quite a punch for an All-In-One and along with 1TB, M.2, PCIe NVME SSD you get very nice performance in a compact package. All-In-Ones like the Inspiron are perfect for those that don’t want or need a full workstation or gaming computer. The NVIDIA GeForce MX550 found here can be used for lite gaming. But is more helpful for daily graphics such as video playback, game streaming and photo editing. You also get a good selection of USB and HDMI in/out ports. Unfortunately all of the Type-A USB ports are on the back of the chassis and the only USB Type-C port on the right side. I wish Dell would have also added another USB Type-C port to the back. The side port can be inconvenient if you're putting this computer in a hutch type desk like I do. Type-C ports are the future so it would be good to have more than one available. For most people none of that will be a problem and for those needing more ports adding a USB hub for easier access is always an option. Simple things like the computer audio is ok, nothing special but for online video and editing duty it is fine. The 1080p touch display is colorful, clear and bright and looks good at this 27” size. The computer is good looking in white. Sadly Dell’s included mouse and keyboard are just not good. The keyboard is spongy and the mouse just feels cheap. Which is too bad because I think they do a dis-service for how nice this computer is. But overall the good outweighs the bad and if you are looking for a compact little powerhouse computer that is simple to setup, is a pleasure to use, wakes up and goes to sleep whenever you want, it's right here.Reddog

In its day, the 24-inch matte finish touch screen was state-of-the-art for an everyday use family computer. That extra three inches of screen real estate makes a HUGE difference! Set up was easy, thanks to Dell’s prompting through the process. An upgraded wireless keyboard and mouse is included, as compared to my previous Dell AIO. The keyboard has a better, more substantial and professional feel. The mouse has a beefier feel. Moving data from old to new, for those who need to do such things, can be accomplished through several options, including the user’s cloud storage or the user’s own external backup drive. Yes, it takes time to populate the new computer with the desired apps as on the previous model. Yes, it takes some time to do all the personalization one may wish to do, but the rewards are manifold, at least until the user wishes to upgrade to what’s newer in the future. Part of any new computer setup process includes Window software and hardware-specific updates, of which there were several. Depending upon the user’s Internet speed, wired or wireless (I always prefer hard-wired Internet connection), this can take several hours, and it did. Patience is a virtue. Additional software that is included with this new Dell is Trend Micro Internet Security (3-Device) (6 Month Subscription) for Android, Apple iOS, Mac OS and Windows (digital download). Also included in the Trend Micro product is identity protection and parental controls. Finally, in the area of included software, is a trial of the Microsoft 365 Suite. A subscription may be purchased or the software may be deleted if the user has an existing Microsoft Office or 365 subscription that may be transferred from a previous PC. Alternatively, users are free to download and use any other Windows-compatible Office-like suite including those that are without cost, yet fully compatible with the Microsoft products. Now, with the initial setup completed, it’s time to . . . **PUT IT TO THE TEST** The first impression is that this Dell Inspiron AIO 7710 starts up very quickly, as well it should. How will 16 GB of RAM perform? Will an upgrade to 32 GB RAM be a considered? The short answer is that this new Dell is so well equipped that nothing else is needed, and certainly not required. Whether for everyday computing chores or for everyday gaming, amateur audio and video editing, there is nothing that comes to mind to be added to a wish list. Nothing. There was an initial concern that the shiny display would be a distraction as compared to the matte finish on the previous 24-inch model. Concerns quickly disappeared. The fans are barely audible unless the processor is pushed hard, such as when rendering video. Even when pressed, fan noise is unobtrusive. The built-in SD card reader is handy for photo use as well as with MicroSD cards using an adapter. Should the user wish to use an external monitor for a dual display setup, this, too, is a built-in capability. The free, downloadable MyDell Mobile app for iOS and Android is a handy companion with useful setup tutorials and numerous tips and tricks. In-app Dell chat support can be a time saver. What’s missing? Nothing. For those interested in a CD/DVD burner found on older models, these are an inexpensive plug-and-play external device. There are certainly plenty of ports available. There is a single USB-C port at the right side bottom edge, perfect for charging a phone or plugging in a peripheral without having to access ports on the rear. **CONCLUSION** The 27-inch size is the new sweet spot and seems perfect in this application. This Dell 27 inch 7710 Inspiron all-in-one is a good all-around computer that many should find useful for a range of needs. It was packed well, is attractive and modern looking, and being all contained within the monitor body, doesn’t take up much desk space while still giving you a good screen size to work with. The 27 inch touch screen monitor has a resolution of 1080p and is bright and as clear as you’d expect for 1080p. At this price point I would really have liked to have seen a 2K monitor, but this one is still sharp enough for most tasks. The bezels (frame) is extremely thin around three sides, with a speaker bar on the bottom. I’m not one who really gets into touch screens, as the novelty wears off when you have to keep cleaning the finger smudges off of them, but should you have need for it, it’s there. It's unfortunately not an anti-glare screen, so you will see some reflections in certain lighting conditions. Gut wise, the 7710 has a 12th generation i7 Processor (good), 16 gigs of RAM (good), a 1 terabyte fast SSD drive for storage (good good!), and a dedicated graphics NVIDIA GeForce MX550 card with 2 gigs of dedicated video memory, which helps speed things up for video editing, gaming, etc. In terms of power, this can not only handle all of your daily things like surfing, emailing, zoom calls and office apps, but you can also do quite a bit of photo and light to medium level video editing without taxing the machine. There is a pop-up web cam for video chats that can be pushed down into the computer body for privacy when not in use. It seems to be a standard variety and delivers “ok” video quality – I’ve seen better, but worse as well; in a well lit room, it’s fine for most casual and daily work uses but does fail a bit in darker conditions – if web cam quality is highly important to you, plan on investing in a separate cam. Speakers (along the bottom) are pretty clear and loud. I have no issues listening to music and videos with them with no obvious distortions. A standard quality wireless keyboard and mouse come with the machine, which work well enough until you can update which I think many may want to do. Note, there is NO optical drive in this model (DVD/CD drive), so if you have disks for programs or movies/music you want to play, you’ll have to spring for an external USB optical drive. I’d prefer if they would still include these in these types of machines, but it does allow for a thinner computer body without one. As far as ports go, you do have one USB-C type power port on the right side of the monitor making it easy to hook up an external device. The rest are on the back where you’ll find four more standard USB (non-C) ports, a wired ethernet port, two HDMI ports, a plug for external headphones/mic and a slot for a SD memory card, and of course, the power cable. I would gladly trade one of those USB standard ports for one more USB-C port, though! The Inspiron is Wifi-6 capable and I have no issues with connections or speed from it wirelessly. I’ve used Bluetooth headphones with no issues as well and was able to walk throughout my 1 level home without losing connection on them. Overall I’m glad to use this model for my daily work and recreational uses. It’s speedy with no hiccups that I can find, so far using it for Word, a few video chats, and casual photo/video captures. If I’m going to nitpick, I’d say that for this price point, I’d like for it to have a slightly higher res screen (2K?), a higher quality web cam, and one more USB-C port at least, at this price point. But it’s still a really good machine that I’d recommend as a whole with no big regrets even as it is.AtlantaGreg
