I love this foundation! The formula is amazing! So I will start by saying I received this complimentary from Influenster and the shade would have been the correct color if it had not been me going to CA + getting a tan! So now I would say I am Porcelain/Vanilla 🙂 when I am really dark Ligjt beige these are all the neutral undertones! When this foundation first came out they did not have as many fair shades as they do now which I love because us pale girls in Oregon know the struggle. I will note that the "porcelain" shade is a bit darker than at what you would normally label as porcelain so just a thing to keep in mind 🙂 Here is my run down of this foundation: LOVE: – This foundation creates a peerless appearance for me (I am very oily) and I love how the texture isnt fully exposed – I love the shade range of colors too faced has to offer with this – The coverage is amazing I do tend to have circles under my eyes, redness, and pores and this covers it ALL! (Saya medium coverage but for me it's more full which I love) -Little goes a long way and it doesnt oxidize like crazy or turn super orange -Although its hydrating it IS oily free so I love how I fo t get slick after a few hours! co-stars on wonderfully greatly paired with a peerless primer! The only con I would say about this is perhaps the form of application. I do like how this looks better with a brush than a beauty blender. Bit personal preference I know others who use this with a blender and it's pretty so take that with a grain of salt. I would not consider the foundation as medium full coverage I would consider it as a full coverage. my skin is very acne prone with lots of scarring and combination skin. this with one coat plus maybe a few touch ups provided enough coverage to go with it. it felt very light it wasn't setting heavy on my skin as a lot of the other full coverage foundations do that I have tried. the only complaint I have is possibly the staying power it kind of tended to wipe off around my mouth area but that was like 8 hours of wearing it so that's not really a complaint I would say lol. I was very hesitant about posting a picture without it on because I tend to be self-conscious about my face without having any makeup on. but for people like me that has trouble skin I wanted to show you guys how well this product worked for my skin. a lot of the times we view foundations on advertisements that show the before and after pictures with someone with already beautiful flawless skin and it kind of deceives the idea of if not people with skin problems should purchase it or not because it doesn't show us how well it would work for our kind of skin. that's one thing I can say that I cannot stand about makeup advertisements is they show the product before and after on someone with flawless skin so it really doesn't give us a good idea of how well the product even works.. When I initially received this foundation item in the mail, upon opening the package, I noticed the shade name for the exact foundation I received is 'Almond.' Having tested this product on my skin daily for over a week's time, I personally do not find that shade name to be a genuinely accurate descriptor, as I mentioned earlier on. I agree that this product, as advertised, could be considered a medium to full coverage foundation. However, if you are looking for a foundation item to entirely cover small moles or sunspots/freckles, if you do not wish for that appearance in your look, then this is probably not the ideal foundation product for that purpose. I do find this foundation creates a pretty flawless, even, and almost 'airbrushed' sort of finish. I found unfortunately, that for my own skin, which is a combination type, I honestly would not put this foundation as my first choice for repurchasing, as I feel that while this product does genuinely live up to its advertised claims regarding moisturizing effects and ingredients, for my skin type, it was actually over-moisturizing were it a product I'd c continue using on a daily or even every other day or so schedule. The coverage and pigmentation/shading of this foundation was medium to full coverage and lasted all day, with mild to moderate activity, including walking my dogs and other fairly simple day to day activities. This foundation product held up with consistent, even, lasting coverage throughout the duration of my trial period of over a full week using this product daily for at least the first week and a half, then closer to every other day following that period of time. Bottom line, although I do think there are many positive qualities to this product, it was in fact, too oily for my day to day use. Didn't wow me. I got this assuming it will match my skin perfectly since it claims to blend according to the nearest skin tone. My shade was – Straight up Medium. I had to keep blending for few minutes to get it all on my face. The makeup is white in color and has a creamy texture. However it is very dry on skin and has a very very light coverage. I didn't even like the shade when it adjusted to my skin tone. I would probably use it as a primer or with a tinted moisturizer. The only thing great about this makeup is – it's fragrance free and hypoallergenic. I wouldn't recommend it for brown skin tones.tanmayee.p
This is my favorite drugstore face product. It's effortless and natural and matte. You can even use it to mix into things if you life or make it dewy by adding serum/moisturizer. To me it's akin to MAC face and body but matte. It is sheer, but you can build it up a bit too. I prefer mixing it in my hands first to break the pigment up and then patting/blending it into my skin. I love this stuff so much. I tend to use shade 100 most of the time, and 200 when I get naturally tanned in the summer time. Will continue to repurchase as long as it's available!Pana
I have very oily skin this time of the year,and I find that this product dries it up,and strips it as soon as I put it on. If I use a primer it's hard to blend. (I end up having to use a wet beauty blender to blend it out more.) I also noticed that if I use this product I CANT use concealer because the concealer won't blend at all,and creases horribly. The only good thing about this product is that it DOES match my skin tone perfectly which I NEVER can get with other make ups but because it's so drying and matte I have to use a glow spray after application,which STILL doesn't give me the look I want but also doesn't make me look all dried up,dull,and dead either. Ive been using this product since it came out on the market and Ive always loved it. The main problem was always getting the makeup out at the bottom but I resolved that by cracking open the bottle. Not ideal! However, Im sure Im not the only one experiencing this. The last several bottles I purchased, the makeup squirts out like water no matter how much I shake. I may have to find another product after all these years. Sad!
I have been using this same foundation for years with no issues. Within the past 6 months, however, it has been really watered down? The makeup will squirt out mostly water with splotches of makeup in it… it reminds me of oil and water the way it separates. I've shaken it up really good and even pulled the cap off and mixed it and it doesn't help. I wish they'd fix this issue, because i really loved this makeup!! I still use it. Not every bottle does this, but the ones that do are messy and a waste of money. I love this makeup but gave it one star so the issue with some of the bottles are made more aware. Hopefully this issue gets addressed. I will note that I've called customer service about this and they are VERY HELPFUL and refunded my money for the like fourth batch i received.Ledawna
This was a sample given to me.#freesample I put on 2 layers for full coverage. I love that it's a pump so no cross contamination, straight from pump to my sponge applicator. The coverage is nice and silky blendable, and buildable. I didn't have to use but a tiny amount of concealer I noticed especially under my eyes. It contains pro-retinol A+ and vitamin c supposed to be for anti aging. Iv only used it this once so I'll post back next week to see if there's any results there🤷 otherwise this has became one of my top 3 favorite foundations. I like the wide range of shades as well, in summer I'm pretty dark but come winter I'm pale as a ghost 👻. Also the price was super budget friendly for this mom on a budget. When I initially received this foundation item in the mail, upon opening the package, I noticed the shade name for the exact foundation I received is 'Almond.' Having tested this product on my skin daily for over a week's time, I personally do not find that shade name to be a genuinely accurate descriptor, as I mentioned earlier on. I agree that this product, as advertised, could be considered a medium to full coverage foundation. However, if you are looking for a foundation item to entirely cover small moles or sunspots/freckles, if you do not wish for that appearance in your look, then this is probably not the ideal foundation product for that purpose. I do find this foundation creates a pretty flawless, even, and almost 'airbrushed' sort of finish. I found unfortunately, that for my own skin, which is a combination type, I honestly would not put this foundation as my first choice for repurchasing, as I feel that while this product does genuinely live up to its advertised claims regarding moisturizing effects and ingredients, for my skin type, it was actually over-moisturizing were it a product I'd c continue using on a daily or even every other day or so schedule. The coverage and pigmentation/shading of this foundation was medium to full coverage and lasted all day, with mild to moderate activity, including walking my dogs and other fairly simple day to day activities. This foundation product held up with consistent, even, lasting coverage throughout the duration of my trial period of over a full week using this product daily for at least the first week and a half, then closer to every other day following that period of time. Bottom line, although I do think there are many positive qualities to this product, it was in fact, too oily for my day to day use. I will most likely use this product sporadically as more of a targeted spot/redness concealer, taking care to only apply a thin layer of this product with each application.SamanthaF8

I'd been looking at this for weeks before I took the plunge and ordered it. I was nervous about ordering a foundation without being able to see it, but thought that as I could return it if it was unsuitable I'd give it a go. I ordered the shade medium, even though I'm slightly on the paler side. WOW!!!! I absolutely love it. Didn't feel heavy on my skin, and as a maturing lady (40) it doesn't sit in any fine lines making them look worse. My skin was glowing in a good way. It looks like my skin, but better!! I literally swept the product all over my face which took approximately 30 seconds, and wow the difference was amazing. Bit of mascara and lip balm and that was me. I don't want to spend ages with make-up for the day as I'm lazy when it comes to make-up, and this is the answer, although it would be just as good for an evening look. I loved it so much I've ordered another one for me, and one for my mum for mother's day. I never write reviews but I just had to for this I like it so much. It's the perfect lazy girls make up. I am a user of Nars and Koh Gen Do foundation. I was looking for an alternative for every day easy application with coverage and I think that Laura Geller balance-n-glow fits well into my routine. I have never used a powder foundation so I don't have anything to compare this to but am pleasantly surprised on how much I like the texture, coverage and ease of application. Finding the correct color is a bit difficult and also finding the correct product is a bit difficult. I tried the balance-n-glow first, then tried balance-n-brighten. I think the balance-n-glow is probably the product that I will continue to use because it is not so matte looking on my face. I was a bit skeptical about the glow, but it is very pleasant or me. I sort of mimics the soft looking liquid foundation that I have been using! I like for my foundation to be a bit on the lighter side so I can add the darker bits, so if you are like me, I would recommend getting one shade lighter than you think you need.none
Foundation that covers well without having to apply too much. I wanted something I could wear as a setting powder to my it cosmetics foundation, or something I could leave on alone for simpler days. This foundation does lay on nice and smooth. I would definitely by the poofs to use this foundation. I tried using a brush, and I’m not if I just don’t have a dense enough brush. I bought the light, I normally buy light foundation in tons of brands and this does seem a little darker when using the poof to apply. I kinda wish I got fair for the winter, but I know, I’ll warm up in the summer months, and this will be just fine. Review for Shade LG2: I never thought my skin tone was golden. For the longest time, I thought I had cool undertones. Anyways, on a whim, Zulily had a sale on this PUR “Love Your Selfie” foundation/concealer and I splurged on this $19.99 find because I was tired of my powder bare minerals foundation (in the lightest shade they offer) looking too orange on my face and I love clean beauty products. This did not disappoint! It went on smoothly and I felt I could adjust how many drops to put on based on the kind of coverage I was seeking. Here I used one drop for minimal coverage. I have a reddish dry patch on my nose, which it did not cover well, but had I reapplied moisturizer before putting this on, it may have been OK. There was no blending necessary along my jawline because it matched my skin tone so seamlessly! I wish this was a bit more hydrating and didn’t cling to the dry spot on my nose, hence why I gave it 4/5 stars. I have sensitive skin but this did not break me out at all. Highly recommend.aileen.d
Wow, the foundation is available in 100 shade. I like that the online color match system is spot on. I was able to get MG3, but the store did not have it. So I went with MN3. I love the pump and the doe foot applicator container. There is no smell to this foundation and I like no fragrance. I dotted this onto my face and the MN3 was a good match just not golden enough for my skin tone, but I was able to pull it off. I used a brush to apply this foundation in stippling motion where I have freckles and hyperpigmentation and buff other areas for less coverage. This was easy to buff and stipple. I have hyper pigmentation and dark spots on my cheeks and this provided a bit more coverage than my EL DW. This foundation does require to be set with a powder. Initially this foundation is beautiful. I love how my skin looked youthful and hydrated. It is soft radiant matte finish on me. My first reaction was I found my new holy grail foundation. No transfer of foundation. It looked great for 3 hours. Then at 6 hours, it was looking a bit oily. As my oils started to come through, the foundation started to move around. At the 10 hours, the foundation has sank into my pores and I was greasy. EL DW holds up longer. This foundation does slightly irritate my skin, I could feel a tingling and slight burning on my face when my oils started to combine with the foundation. I was recently at an Ulta store and this product was recommended by an Ulta employee and matched to my tone. This is not at all what I was looking for. I explained I have used both Estee Lauder Long wear which can be too thick at times and to the other extreme, bare minerals tinted. I was looking for build able, not something clump over textured parts of my skin, not get into my pores and something natural looking in between the 2 formulas above that I have used. I am fine with using a setting spray of which I also purchased from this brand. Very unnatural looking, cakes, clogs pores, thick, and the setting spray sets the mess in place. Maybe great for younger folk or those that don't have dry skin. I'm a bit bewildered why this was recommended to me at all given it is the exact opposite of what I described in what I wanted. Maybe it was commission based recommendation . Either way, terrible for me and exactly what I didn't want. On days I need a wee bit extra, I'd stick with Estee Lauder. As far as easy application, a build able Bb cream or Bare Minerals tinted with a sweep of mineral veil or something comparable. on vacation right now and this is pretty awful. not cheap to look this bad. My face looks blotchy, dirty, clumpy. it's second time only I've ever let an Ulta employee match me. ironically this first was also a lipstick from this brand, once it other lighting, it looked awful. If you’re looking for a lightweight foundation at a decent price, the Covergirl Fresh Skin Milk foundation may be a good option for you. At a bit over $10, this foundation is certainly affordable, but I don’t think that it’s for everyone. I’ve been using it for several days now, and it has some positives and some negatives. Overall I think it has more positive qualities though. The first few days that I used this foundation, I tried applying it with my usual foundation brush. I ended up having to put in way more effort to get this foundation to blend well if using a foundation brush. I typically don’t like using my fingers to apply foundation because it’s such a mess, but I found that this foundation actually works best if I use my fingers. If I do that it seems to blend out rather quickly and quite well. As for the finish, I typically prefer matte foundations, and this is more of a lightweight and satin finish. However, it worked out pretty well if I used a finishing powder on top to get a matte finish. This foundation lasts well all day long, which is really nice, but my one major complaint with it though is that as the day goes on it really starts to sink into the fine lines under my eyes. At first I thought this might be because I was having to use a finishing powder to get a matte finish, but on the days that I avoided using a finishing powder in my under eye area the problem was still there, but maybe just a little bit better. With all that being said, I think that this is still a very solid option for an affordable lightweight foundation for young adults. If you’re starting to have any sort of fine lines though, you might want to opt for a different foundation.
Finally, a foundation that is a true Porcelain and not covered with orange and brassy undertones! 🚨Alert for my fellow pasty people, this is a gorgeous creamy Porcelain tint. I love that it is vegan🐰🌿 and packed with coconut milk🌴 and aloe extracts that nourish the skin. The consistency is liquid but without a viscosity that runs everywhere, it will stay put where you apply it. It can be applied with stippling fingers, a beauty blender or a fluffy brush for best results. It is not chalky on the skin and doesn’t leave a chalky feel after application. A lot of “porcelain” tinted products pump up the “talc” to achieve the proper tint, this one does not. It’s lightweight on the skin, blurs imperfections beautifully, and is buildable friendly. I’d like to know how this holds up in humidity and warmer weather, but in cold weather it’s holding up flawlessly. This will be a new staple in my travel bag! 🧳angela.m

I switched to powder foundation a while back because I prefer something lightweight and honestly don't care too much about full coverage. I embrace the imperfections of my skin. I got a sample of this in my Ipsy bag and will deffo purchase a full size product. I applied with a brush and found it needed a fair amount of working into the skin–but that is because the product provides a lot of coverage for a very small amount. I used far less than I normally would, even after building up where my skinetone is uneven, and once the product was spread out and dried down it looked fantastic. My concealer of choice (tarte amazon clay) also layered very well on top of it. Now I use powder contour and that also blended in very nicely. Oh, I used the JOAH Heal Me Cica soothing and blurring primer which is my HG primer. Also worked very well together. It does have a light shine to it. I have used it a few times now and it wears very nicely, even in humidity. Someone with dry skin would really like this product.

Usually, I’m not a big fan of full coverage foundation because it’s too heavy, but this foundation is lightweight even though it’s full coverage. It has a hydrating natural finish that is perfect for my dry combination skin. I can smell a slight herbal flowery scent on it, it doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t need a lot of product to cover my entire face. And the color matched my skin perfectly no need to adjust it. I love the light coverage and real-skin look of skin tints, tinted sunscreens, BB creams, etc. so I was thrilled when Yensa announced a foundation with "serum" in the name. I was disappointed to learn that this is still a very medium to possibly high-coverage foundation though. I will say that I prefer it to their original foundation line because it is a slightly thinner formula, but it still ended up sliding around a bit and settling into pores and fine lines. To be clear – I have never found a high coverage foundation that does not do this on me (that's why I avoid them) and this one performed much better than others, so if that's not an issue for you then go for it. But if you're looking for a serum-y type of "tint" type deal, this isn't it. Also it had a similar scent to the other foundation if fragrance matters to anyone. Although I'm returning both shades that I ordered, I'm still rating 4 stars because my face literally felt GLORIOUS after I washed my makeup off for bed every day. I cannot say enough good things about this product. This is the best foundation I've ever tried, and I have used everything from clean to luxury to professional. It's true that this foundation really does look like your skin but "even better," it corrects redness and dark spots, and can be built up to offer pretty full coverage. It doesn't have a pump so you can really control how much product you use, and I find myself needing half the amount I would with a different foundation. It's so easy to blend so I apply with my fingers and it still looks amazing. I always reach for this when I want all-day wear or if I just want my skin to look amazing. Great for events, photos, everything. It would really well as a base for your other face makeup and I never feel like I look overdone, and it's also great on its own for a more perfect skin natural look. I do not have rosacea, but I do have redness caused by extremely sensitive skin and acne. I have had no luck with liquid foundations previous to this one, so I am very happy that I tried it I use this foundation over top the dramatically different moisturizing gel and the redness solutions protective base.Before this foundation, I would use loose powdered foundations, but because my skin is oily, the makeup would sometimes cake and make my pores look bigger. Once I evenly cover my face, it no longer appears yellow, just even in tone. The foundation is fairly thick, so I really do recommend using a foundation brush rather than just fingers. The brush allows you to more evenly and lightly disperse the product over your face and neck.Additionally, ever since using this product, my acne has cleared up more, and I no longer get itchy, irritated skin during the day like I used to.Overall, this is the best makeup Ive ever tried, and its well worth the money, even if the bottle is fairly small. A few years back now it appears I started to develop rosacea . I have always been told I have beautiful skin and I believe in part this is genetics for sure but also believe a big part of the picture is that I look after my skin with using good skin care products which I started to do from the age of 15. My redness was becoming problematic and unbeknown to me I was actually feeding and aggravating this conditions by using skin care products with oil in them expense skincare products too So I was advised to try Clinique after talking to one of their consultants which I did . Cost me a small fortune as I brought the entire redness range including the foundation. I can honestly say I am 58 yrs of age that this is truly the only product I have ever used and I have used them all over the years bar Clinique that I could actually see the difference it was making. No more redness and people are commenting on how clear and lovely my face is looking. I have also now moved onto as well as still using the redness range some of their other products and as long as I a using nothing with oils in it I am fine. I seriously did not ever believe it was possible to see a difference in your skin from any skin care produce but I can see the difference others can see the difference Just amazing I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone ..in fact I do so every opportunity I get Love it and I will NEVER change from this range. I genuinely DO like the shade, but I tend to use it as more of a highlighter or contouring type thing because it's a bit too light for my liking. I've found that the coverage itself is lovely on its own, but can cause some dryness if you have a sensitivity to SPF possibly? I'm not a scientist, but if I put this on without allowing my other skincare to fully absorb or if my skin is "too dewey" that it tends to pill or roll up into tiny play dough snakes. Hah. But if I put it in by itself, it tends to be a bit chalky afterwards. I also find that a lot of the product comes off on my fingertips or my brushes – which seems like quite a waste. But maybe that's the beauty standard or maybe I need to wash my brushes more often. That being said, it's still a good foundation if you want lighter coverage without having to "cake" it on. My other friends who have tried this foundation absolutely love it, I'm just not it's biggest fan. Postscript: it does seem to clog my pores where I can visibly seem them up close in the mirror. This packaging feels so high end. There is something about the cap that is so satisfying; with the Lancôme rose logo on it. I found a good shade match for my fair yellow skin in 160 Ivoire W. I have applied this with a beautyblender and a brush. I find the brush, Sigma F80 or Real Technique Blend and Blur Brush, applies the foundation smoother and more evenly. It dries fast but not painfully so. I do half my face and then the other half with enough time to leisurely blend. The finish is matte and the wear time is pretty good. I didn’t notice much transfer and it fades with no patchiness. I still set my combination skin with powder but very lightly. I don’t think it’s critical to set with powder, unless you have very oily skin. So, I can see why this is a classic and I think it’s amazing quality makeup but my qualm is that I didn’t see the full coverage claim manifest. I saw a light but build able coverage. This can be built up for more coverage but I don’t see the full coverage miracle. Otherwise, when I don’t have a crisis to cover up, I find this a reliable matte foundation best applied with a brush. For reference, I am in my mid 40s, have hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and normal skin (on hot days it turns more combination) I got a sample because of this foundation because I was curious about it and i liked it a lot. I consider this one a good foundation for me for the following reasons: PROS: – It works well on top of my skincare and sunscreen (I never rely on foundation for spf protection as you need to apply a lot) – It has SPF 15, which is not enough for your daily protection, but adds up to the spf that I always apply. – It has a beautiful natural finish (I don’t consider it matte) which is the kind of finish I prefer. – It is lightweight: it looks natural on top of the skin. – Good coverage: I don’t consider it full coverage unless you build it up a lot (losing the natural skin like finish and turning heavy instead) I would prefer more coverage but it is enough to cover partially my hyperpigmentation and look decent. CONS: – The price: it is an expensive foundation, but I understand that it is expected for a luxury brand. – It didn’t last 24 hours on me. It may be because of my skincare or sunscreen, so I cannot blame the foundation. I’m now well into my 30’s and have been looking for something like my favorite high school foundation. Yes, I’m Serious! I have fair, combination dry skin, I burn easily, and I use tretinoin and sunscreen everyday, so my skin is already pretty even and clear sans normal hormonal redness around the nose and mouth, but sometimes I can appear “flat” or dull. With that in mind, I’m a big baby about what I put on my face. I have been looking for a foundation that feels lightweight, doesn’t dry me out, and looks radiant, because my major everyday makeup goal is a great complexion, a nude lip, and a bold lash, but with a touch of that CT romantic glam magic. Think clean girl aesthetic meets dreamy romantic. This foundation does it all for me. I recently moved across the US and packed most of my makeup and skincare, as well as belongings in a moving truck and only took a few staples for the road, so I don’t have a lot to work with in terms of finding the right combination of products. Unfortunately, what did arrive was all destroyed, so I can’t test it with other sunscreens or primers, products, etc. I was worried at first about pilling or patchiness, but I gave myself a little pep talk and took this opportunity to look on the bright side and try new things and I’m so glad I did! I got a (wonderfully sized) sample at Sephora, in 1N and 3N from the lovely Arielle in the Dallas Galleria location. I have neutral to cool undertones (I’m so pale you can see my veins in most places). The 1N is PERFECT! I’ve never had such a great match. It lasts all day, it’s luminous, it didn’t oxidize or yellow, making me look ill. I just look put together! (And I live in DALLAS now!) Yesterday, I returned to Sephora and purchased the full size, as well as the hyaluron kiss in crystal kiss which is also, AMAZING! Ok, let’s cut straight to the chase – this really is as good as everyone’s saying! I’ve never got on well with CT foundations before but this is in another league, and IMO much more suited to my very dry skin. I love that it doesn’t have fragrance in it – this is really important to me as I have really sensitive skin and fragrance usually further sensitises it. This hasn’t given me any adverse effects at all irritation-wise. The finish is extremely skin like, but more a better version of your own skin, with some luminosity but less dewy than Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue. I would say it also has slightly less coverage (on the lighter end of medium), so it won’t make you look completely flawless but I’m ok with that as I can add coverage in areas I need with concealer. It doesn’t settle into my 11’s at all, which has only ever happened with 2 other foundations – La Mer Soft Radiant and Chantecaille Future Skin. I’m kind of blown away so far! So happy that I’ve found this and I’ll now be decluttering a lot of my old foundations as this has instantly gone to my number 1 spot as Holy Grail for an everyday, polished but natural finish! For colour reference I am Vanilla in Hourglass, Cool Sand in Bobbi Brown, Ivory in La Mer, Yukon in Nars, B20 in Chanel and Vanilla in Chantecaille. Shade 3 Cool is a good match for me here and I think 2 Neutral would also work.DDAK
I was really excited when I discovered that this new foundation is more of a gel type foundation. I really loved the Touche Eclat Foundation from YSL, but couldn't wear it because it has chemical sunscreen and tons of fragrance. This one is not illuminating like that product, but it has better coverage and I find it to be non-irritating on my sensitive, dehydrated skin. The best thing is that it really deeply hydrates my dehydrated skin over the time I am wearing it, and when I wash my face, my skin is very soft and plump. I tend to get oily from dehydration, so this actually does a good job of preventing that from happening. I have had no issues with clogged pores or breakouts or anything with this foundation either. It's more of a light-medium coverage and goes really perfectly with CT's Magic Away concealer, as well as the hollywood flawless filter and the highlighters/blushes/contour in tubes that CT sells. Probably because they all have a gel type base to them, but they really do work PERFECTLY together. I put her pressed powder on top of this to lock it in and that works really well. I don't have any issues with it gathering in my pores that I have had with her other foundations. This is by far her best one. I have bad burns on my back legs, ankles, and feet from from an accident when I worked in the kitchen. 7 years ago, this product was amazing. Covered all spotty burn marks. I bought a few more last year and was mad because i no longer had coverage. I could still see my burns after applying 3 coatings. What a shame. I am now looking for a new product that had the same coverage as the old product I bought 7 years ago. Please bring the old version back. I would buy 20 of them to have it. The new version… Horrible. Lucky for me I still have a few tubes of the old formula. After reviewing the other reviews, I’m not going to take a chance on the new product. The main problem I have with the old product is IT GETS ON EVERYTHING. PLEASE DO SOMETHING BEFORE YOU LOSE MORE CUSTOMERS. I tried this product because a drag queen told me it was a good foundation .I could use for drag makeup and have it go a long way because you have to use so little because of the product has such good coverage . The coverage was mostly none extinct even with multiple larys. The foundation lifted all the gule I had use on my borws for blocking my borw down. The foundation swat off with in minutes of any sweating starting. Product peeled off my face like it was dry skin. Rubed right off my forhead when I put my wigs on. I bought this foundation with high hopes and have tried it out several times. I am so dissapointed. It does not blend out good on my face whatsoever and looks very patchy. I used Smashbox and CoverFX primers but no help. I used high end moisturizers beforehand to ensure no dryness on my skin. Nope. I tired brushes and damp sponges. Nope. I LOVE this foundation. I try to stick to drug store make up simply because of price but when it comes to foundation I’ve always had to use expensive products. My go to was urban decay. My skin is SOOOOO sensitive, I’m a redhead that actually tans, has freckles and I break out all of the time just from outside and the pollution… yes I’m THAT sensitive. But this foundation is the BEST foundation I’ve ever used. It makes my skin look flawless, it’s truly full coverage – unlike other brands that claim to be. It’s light weight, creamy but not too creamy, a little goes a long way, doesn’t cake or crease and truly lasts for a long time. It says 16 hr, but honestly it lasts longer. I’ve fallen asleep and my face still looks fresh. I tell everyone about this foundation because I’m so happy with it. Been using it for months and I don’t plan on going back. It is also extremely easy to tone match compared to other brands- it’s true to the color!!! The bottle will look a little darker than what the shade is, but the foundation itself is true to color – just take a crumb size dab on wrist while shopping and you’ll see what I’m talking about. One bottle should last you about 5 months and that’s if you use it daily and have moderate acne like I do. It doesn’t make me break out more like others do.shelby.g
This foundation claims to be full coverage, however, the coverage is more of a medium buildable coverage. Despite this fact, once layered, it creates a lightweight, super-smooth, matte perfected finish. The formula is quite thick with a mousse-like consistency which I usually do not prefer. This product exceeded my expectations and I would have given it five stars hadn't it been for the unfulfilled claim of being full coverage. The color, #306 (Buff Beige), is remarkably natural looking and neutral in tone unlike many other drugstore foundations I have tried. The finish and feel of this foundation is outstanding in quality and comparable to high-end foundations. I don't even need to use primer with it as it is so smoothing with a blurring effect. I would highly recommend trying this. Note: I have very oily skin and my skin color is hard to match but this matches my tone perfectly. Update: (February 24, 2019) After wearing this foundation several times, it seems to have shifted my perspective. My initial reaction on it was wonderful, however, the lasting power is horrible. I am very oily so I’m sure that contributes to it’s lasting power. It seems to never actually dry or set. It settles into pores and fine lines. If I touch my face, even lightly, it transfers off even after setting it pretty heavily with powder. I’d only recommend this foundation if your skin is normal, even texture and you don’t require much coverage as building it up amplifies most of these issues. This is a very good and affordable foundation. I have this foundation in “Light Ivory”. The undertone of this foundation is slightly yellow, but after applying concealer and the rest of my base, the shade looks fine. (Since I purchased this foundation, the shade range has been expanded.) I find that this foundation has a medium amount of coverage that can be built up to increase coverage or sheered out if desired. Although this oil-free foundation claims to have a semi-matte finish, I find it has a radiant/ glowy finish. I have dry skin, so I like the finish of this foundation. After wearing this foundation for a few hours, my skin can get oily and require blotting/powdering. I recommend setting this foundation with powder. If you like a foundation that has a dewy or glowy finish, you may really like this foundation. This product is very affordable, although the bottle only contains 20ml of foundation. (The standard amount is 30ml.) I will continue to use this foundation and I will try different primers and powders to see if I can improve the appearance and wear of this foundation. Overall I like this product. It gives me pretty good coverage, not full coverage but it is buildable. I don't like the scent, it smells very fragranced and I enjoy fragrance-less products more. It's also a little drying on it's own and I have normal/combination skin. I HAVE to use lots of skin prep and moisturizers before putting it on, and overall I enjoy more moisturizing, glowy bases instead of matte looks, so this is a great product for people with oily skin/people who love matte, but not for me. I decided to try this foundation again recently after running out of it a few years ago. I clearly just forgot how good it was. The foundation looks beautiful on the skin and you can keep layering and building the coverage up without it looking cakey or bringing out the texture of your skin. If anything it looks smoother the more you put on. I really like the shade range this foundation has as it seems to cater to a lot of different undertones. The shade is perfect for me. The perfect shade for people on the paler side. After setting with a finishing powder, my acne prone skin looked almost airbrushed and it lasted great throughout the day even without a primer. I personally like the smell, I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s not overpowering and it did not irritate my skin. The foundation didn’t seem to cause any acne. I cant believe i didnt find this sooner. Its so underrated . Its marked as a “medium coverage “ no, it’s definitely full coverage. Its so light weight and it definitely lasts. I love that it has zero sent and is made for sensitive skin. Acne prone skin types can uses this with worry breaking out. The only complaint is the shade range. I am a ginger with a neutral undertone so i did get the lightest shade with neutral undertone and its a little dark. However , it doesn’t Oxidize so its workable . I purchased this based on a review I saw on youtube and oh.my. gosh. It's so worth the $38. I have dry skin and this doesn't cling to any dry patches. It makes my skin look smooth and hydrated and doesn't show any sort of texture. It covers all my acne scars and the light discoloration I have from old acne scars. I've applied this with a beauty blender sponge as well as a brush and both ways gave me great coverage and it was very easy to blend. I do prefer the sponge better but I usually always do. I like that it's got SPF 25 in it so I don't have to worry about applying sunscreen before hand ( I always forget). It's not completely transfer proof but I would say it's one of the more mask friendly foundations I've used lately without feeling really heavy on my face. I've been using this for a couple of years, and can honestly say I don't think I could ever go back to my Estee Lauder, Dior, Bare Minerals, or IT Cosmetics CC Cream. The coverage on this is amazing, I'm more of a natural preference, but this foundation is buildable, without looking cakey or dry. You have to shake the bottle for even consistency, and it comes with a built in applicator (which I love) making application mess free. The finish lasts all day and doesn't settle in lines, it also works well with or without setting powder. A lot of the reviews complain about the smell, but what you have to realise is that a Doctor created Physicians Formula for his wife, who suffered from lupus and longed for makeup that wouldn’t aggravate her sensitive skin, so this has no nasties in it. The smell isn't even that bad, and I genuinely cannot understand why these people are complaining as it does go within seconds of application. I have been using this foundation since the first day it came out. I used to purchase it at CVS until it was discontinued. After stocking up on the last 5 bottles on the CVs shelf, I waited and hoped that this foundation could be found somewhere else. I then contacted Physicians Formula and was told that Walmart exclusively carries this. After driving for miles and miles to my nearest Walmart, I finally found my foundation. The whole point of this review is to please ask that you do NOT discontinue this as my skin loves it. I have extremely sensitive skin and this foundation gives great coverage and does not break me out. All the other foundation that PF makes do not give my skin the same result as this one! I used this for awhile before switching to a foundation that better suited my needs. I have rosacea and bare minerals is a great option for it's gentleness however this foundation only provided medium coverage. I also found it to be a bit more greasy. I always had to use a green primer underneath due to my redness which would leave my face looking more pale. Anyone dealing with redness dislikes the extra step of having to apply a green primer due to the lack of foundation coverage otherwise this may be perfect for others without discoloration.tre.r

I'm definitely more about concealer than foundation, but I "borrowed" this from my mother when I needed it. At first I was a little concerned about having a product with salicylic acid that I might blend under my eyes, but I usually just don't put it there. And when I have, it has not irritated the skin. I have dry, somewhat sensitive skin, with some acne scarring blackheads and whiteheads, and a few occasional hormonal pimples. At one point I ran out of my acne medication and this makeup was my only treatment other than facewash. It can be a little drying, but as long as I moisturize, it looks great on my skin. It has buildable coverage, though if I put more than one or two layers, it looks cakey. I usually wear it over primer, but Saturday, when I had a small but mighty pimple near my chin, I skipped over the pimple with my primer so the salicylic acid could do its work. This is a solid choice for a foundation and I would definitely recommend it.
This use to be my go to! for some awful reason though, this liquid foundation makes me break out so bad and it’s makes my skin super oily now. I don’t know why or what changed but I’m guessing the formula or something. Also, the shades are odd, like wayyyyy off now, it looks almost orange like and cheap on my skin, and it has made my acne worse than ever before, just awful. I was in love with this foundation, loyal for a few years now and it really sucked that after all that time, I had to look for another foundation. I Waited a full year in hopes they would bring the original formula and colors back but they never did. I just switched over for the first time to Clinique acne solutions foundation, though it’s 3xs as much, the colors are ON POINT and the best part, it doesn’t clog my pores and make me breakout. It makes my skin look flawless. It does not seep into my fine lines. It is easy to apply with a beauty blender and it blends perfectly. It feels so good on my skin. I have used this foundation for years. My daughters have also been using it with great results. We loved everything about it, coverage, shade, blended perfectly, improved acne, etc. I was so bummed to see that the formula has changed (bottle with the green design). The shade that I have always bought no longer matches my skin, it is thicker & gross feeling, it does not blend well, and looks terrible on my face. My daughters tried it also and both agreed it was horrible. I don’t understand why this company would change something that was already perfect? Did they even have anyone test this before making this big change? I wish there was a way to still buy the old formula. Now I have to throw away the two bottles I ordered & start to look for another brand 🙁Sad About Changes
This was MY foundation. I've used this foundation for 10+ years. I even used it before they even had the color porcelain formulated. Once they formulated porcelain I was so happy because it was light and fair enough for my skin. However, the new porcelain color is a good 3 shades deeper and ORANGE. The undertone is so unbelievably orange. I don't understand how that is considered porcelain. I bought 2 bottles thinking they were the same color, hopefully I can get a refund. Like other reviews I am SO disappointed by the new formula. The new one settles into fine lines a magnifies pores (I always moisturize and use primer). The new one seems a little thicker and a tad chalky. I went from looking radiant (old formula) to aged (new formula). I’ve always had oily skin and the old formula was brilliant at controlling oil but avoided the heavy full coverage look. Almay really messed up a great product. This is a wonderful light to medium coverage foundation! I have been using bb creams or tinted moisturizers the last few years. I loved elf’s BB cream because it was enough to cover/blend dark spots and acne scars, but also let my real skin shine through a bit. I also like moisturized/dewy VS. Matte. Now that my favorite bb cream is never in stock, I asked for a rec from a friend and she suggested this one. Needless to say, it’s a big price jump. But I do really love this! Coverage is just what I want, I still spot conceal any stubborn acne but it covers any scars or pigmentation. It stays all day (ALL DAY), and blends without any lines or oxidation. You do need to moisturize well or use something dewy (glossier futuredew for me) to really get that glow, but it definitely isn’t harshe matte by itself. Picking a shade was tough Online because I’m not used to so many undertone options. I’m pretty fair, couldn’t decide my undertone, so I went to store for shade matching. Even though I could probably get away with a few different shades, matching in store with the matching technology confirmed the one I was leaning toward. And a little goes a LONG way with this foundation, so I think it will last a long time. I’ll be buying again!nayri .b
If you're a person of color looking for a new foundation look no further, this foundatoion is absolutely amazing. I have a neutral warm golden undertone and having both undertones I do not have a lot of perfect shade matches in other brands. The shades are either too warm or too olive but this is such a perfect match to my skin. This a medium coverage foundation without looking cakey, it looks like skin. This foundation makes your skin so luminous and dewy without looking greasy, I use MAC Strobe Cream to make it even more luminous. The shade range is amazing and is a very good option for women of color and women with with a neutral or olive undertone, especially Indian women looking for a new foundation. This is my new holy grail and my forever foundation, its also very beginner friendly. The price tag on this foundation is worth it trust me you will not regret getting it and you will not find anything like it. Saw this on a friend – she looked amazing! Yet so natural! Just had to try it for myself. I moisturized and primed my face beforehand and then used my finger to dab some onto my head, cheeks, and nose, and using a beauty blender I started to blend it outwards until it disappeared into my skin. I have to say it blended really well and melted into my skin straight away, without settling into any fine lines. Although I find the formula to be quite thick and pigmented, it isn't heavy on the skin and I only required a small amount to cover any slight redness and uneven areas. The result? Airbrushed but natural. My face was very uniform-looking, and there was a slight glow which I liked and was not expecting. This is a silicone-heavy formula which ultimately I would not be able to use daily, I will definitely be using it on special occasions, as it provides a good amount of coverage that still leaves you looking natural. One little oddity I did come across was 'Alcohol Denat' as the 5th ingredient, but as someone not planning on using this often, I'm not overly concerned about this.
