I have a pressure washer and it works fine. Taking it out of storage, extension cords, hooking up the long hose, pouring in the liquid cleaner, well it's not too much to ask, but if I can avoid it, that's a welcome break. Two years ago, I shredded my screens with the pressure washer, so I still have a hate-hate relationship with my PW. So I have this bottle of Scott's House & Siding Zero Scrub that says it reaches the second floor and that's another plus. There is not enough pressure in a PW to apply pressure enough for the second floor without a ladder. The Scott's bottle is not a big, heavy load; it's concentrated. All you have to do is attach it to the hose and fire away. You just need to spray the surface uniformly wet and move on. I think you are wasting your Zero Scrub if you try to blast away until it looks good. Ok. I did two sides of my 2-story with one bottle. I tossed the bottle in my recycling bin and did the walk-around inspection. I must admit I wasn't quite bowled over. Thers still was quite a bit of algae or whatever that green stuff is. I thought maybe I did something wrong. I went back to the recycle bin and retrieved the bottle and read that it continues to work for as much as two or three days, as I remember it. Sure enough in two days, I was pleased with the job, no sign of green algae and I really do appreciate the work and effort and damage saved by not using my pressure washer.GIJoe
Scotts® Outdoor Cleaner House & Siding with ZeroScrub™ Technology Was something we got to help us remove moss from certain areas of our home before the settling winter. I must say we did get this in the middle of fall weather where it rains in the northwest. You essentially need a dry day and surface for this to take effect. We finally found a good two or three days of dry weather and sun so we applied it to remove moss on our cement patio and our siding. The solution was easy to apply either with the help of the hose or pressure washer as it’s easy to connect. We made sure to remove all patio furniture and follow directions. One things that make me nervous about using this continuously are all the cautions for touching this solution, unrepairable eye damage if put in contact with it, and making sure to not leave the solution soaking in the grass. It seems like there are many cautions that a mistake may be bound to happen when using this over time. The results were great and it did remove moss from our patio with just a one time spray and saved us time. The siding area we did under our window worked well too. It was very easy to apply and we noticed a huge difference in our siding in comparison to other areas. I’m we are happy with the results, but the cautions seem like many I would not want to be encounter; thus, it is important to wear eyes protection and gloves. I think some rebound spray would be hard to avoid in you choose to spray this high on a two story home from the floor along the sides where there is only 5 feet distance from the gate. I would not use this solution if there is a chance that rebound spray would hit my skin/eyes. Make sure you can stand far away to avoid that. For future cleaning, we may only use this sparingly in tough moss covered areas where we can get clearance from any solution spray. Overall, we were happy with the final results.Crystalpower
I love this house and siding cleaner! First things first, this stuff is high quality. The cleaner works so, so well. I can tell it's a high quality product because of how well it works. Applying the spray is really easy too. All you do is attach the bottle to your garden hose, and point and spray it at your house/siding. This works really well on pretty much any surface! You do not have to use a pressure washer or anything either, and you don't have to scrub it off! What I love is that this product removes most mold/moss/mildew. I recently bought two bottles of your professional sprayer containers. I filled one of them with an off brand cleaner and began to clean the inside of my boat. After just two minutes I grabbed the container from the base of the sprayer where it threads into the plastic bottle and it broke. Snapped right off. I tried to snap it back together but no luck. So I drained the cleaner into the second Zep professional sprayer bottle. The second bottle only lasted about five minutes before it broke in the same place. Complete garbage. I can't believe that this product passed any kind of quality control. Certainly this issue is not the first complaint for this horrible product.Rick4863
This citrus version doesn't work near as well as the regular Zep formula, and the smell is pungent and lingers. We usually use the purple formula for garage cleanup and to pre-treat my husband's railroad clothes before washing them, and it works really well, but TSC was out of the purple, so we tried this one. Awful is an understatement. Not only did it clean only half as well as the purple, but the smell intensifies if you put it on a wet rag or when clothes pre-treated with it are washed. When he washed his laundry, the whole house filled with the smell, and even after heavy washing and an extra rinse, the smell lingered. He dried his clothes after washing, and when he wore them, you could not smell fabric softener, his clothes smelled like nothing but the citrus Zep. When using it in the garage, we had to open all 3 windows and the back door, and it was a full 24 hours before the smell had dissipated enough to be in it for any length of time.AutumnD

The instructions for the cleaning process were thorough and very easy to understand. The unit was easy to put together onto my hose so that I could quickly get started. I started with rinsing the house and was pleasantly surprised at the force and distance of the sprayer. It’s shot straight out with a good force and remove dirt that I had not even seen on the side of my house and which is a wood material on my back patio. The unit with the cleaning solution was not heavy so it was easy to lift and point the spray into crevices that were higher up. I was surprised with the amount of dirt that it was removing. After the initial rinse, I moved on to using the cleaner. It was very easy to turn the knob on the unit to get to the rinse cycle and begin. There was not a strong chemical smell and you can tell there was some product in there as it produced suds on the side of the house. At this point, I did not see any difference from the rinse cycle on my house. And after the cleaning process, I let it sit for two minutes without drying. I did have to rush a couple of areas to get some dirt that was not moving and then I rinsed again. I didn’t see any noticeable difference after the chemical rinse that I didn’t notice after the first initial water rinse. Next time moved onto the windows. Again, I was most impressed with the sprayer and the ability to knock debris down easily. I moved onto rinse number to him and really did not notice anything monumentally different than I did after the initial rinse. I was pleased that it dry in a streak free, which I had been most concerned about. Overall, my favorite part of this unit was the force and power of the sprayer and the ease of use. I liked that I didn’t have to pull any triggers to cramp my hand. I just never saw any noticeable difference between the initial rinsing and using the cleaning products. The dirt that was still visible after the rents had to be scrubbed off with a brush and was not removed with the cleaner alone. It was nice and convenient to not have to have multiple bottles of cleaning products for two different jobs and it was nice to have the sprayer easily connected to the cleaner. Much easier than making your own window washing solution or cleaner and scrubbing it onto your wall or window. I’d recommend the product based on the east, convenience and power of the sprayer.Purpie

The siding on our house is over twenty years old and was looking like we were going to have to replace it, then we got our Rejuvenate Dual system outdoor window and siding cleaner. I am sure a lot more as well, as I continue my cleaning. This product can be applied with a tank sprayer, power washer, or with a bucket. Just dilute with water per directions. This cleaner has a foaming action that seems to work on contact. I applied the cleaner, let it set for a few minutes, scrub and rinse. Easy to use and safe around plants and grasses. I am having good luck with this cleaner. So far I have cleaned my sidewalk to my porch as well. I am sure I will be purchasing more in the near future. It has a pleasant fragrance which I love. So far we’ve only used it to wash our vehicles, but we also plan to clean the siding on our house and maybe the sidewalks or even the driveway as well. It is extremely easy to use, and the amount of foaming suds this soap creates helps to know it is working as it should. One gallon actually makes up to 20 gallons when you place the siphoning tube into a diluted mixture or pour the diluted mixture into an onboard detergent tank, depending on the style of your pressure washer. The results are best when applied to surfaces with low pressure and letting it sit a few minutes, then using clear water at high pressure to rinse it off. We found that no brushing is necessary, but that may depend on how stubborn the dirt is on whatever it is you’re cleaning. I just finished power washing my entire deck using this Kärcher – All Purpose Detergent 1 Gal. 20x Formula. I followed the directions for mixing and used the sweep sprayer on my power washer and I couldn't be happier. My deck had dirt, some black discoloration on the decking, some green mold on the railings and the furniture was filthy. People are not using this product correctly. To remove mold stains use bleach or high strength peroxide. After the stain is gone, use mold control in the same area to prevent mold returning. Bleach does not kill the roots of mold, but it does remove the discoloration. The mold control product has successfully kept mold at bay in my house. I paired this with Mold Armor and it obliterated the mold I had on the studs in my bathroom. I emptied the bottles on all of it approx 5'x8' space. Made sure to apply at least 2 coats(3 on the heavy stuff). I scraped the mold off with a paint scraper and steel wool. Wiped off with blue shop towels, dried, and then sprayed again. 24 hours later the wood is mold free and I can start painting it over with Kilz.Charles Hennings

I used this on my roof (under a low hanging tree) for moss and within two weeks the moss was brown and it took a while to dry up and disppear. Also, tried this on my neighbors house on the "green" siding and two years later the spot I applied was still clean. If you want it to work overnight, you will be disappointed. I was skeptical since other reviews were all over the board. I have black lichen on my sidewalk and brick pavers. Within a few minutes, I could see the black lichen on the sidewalk (in the sun) turn brown meaning it's dying. After just two minutes I grabbed the container from the base of the sprayer where it threads into the plastic bottle and it broke. Snapped right off. I tried to snap it back together but no luck. So I drained the cleaner into the second Zep professional sprayer bottle. The second bottle only lasted about five minutes before it broke in the same place. Complete garbage. This citrus version doesn't work near as well as the regular Zep formula, and the smell is pungent and lingers. We usually use the purple formula for garage cleanup and to pre-treat my husband's railroad clothes before washing them, and it works really well, but TSC was out of the purple, so we tried this one. Awful is an understatement. Not only did it clean only half as well as the purple, but the smell intensifies if you put it on a wet rag or when clothes pre-treated with it are washed. When he washed his laundry, the whole house filled with the smell, and even after heavy washing and an extra rinse, the smell lingered. He dried his clothes after washing, and when he wore them, you could not smell fabric softener, his clothes smelled like nothing but the citrus Zep. When using it in the garage, we had to open all 3 windows and the back door, and it was a full 24 hours before the smell had dissipated enough to be in it for any length of time.AutumnD

We usually use the purple formula for garage cleanup and to pre-treat my husband's railroad clothes before washing them, and it works really well, but TSC was out of the purple, so we tried this one. Awful is an understatement. Not only did it clean only half as well as the purple, but the smell intensifies if you put it on a wet rag or when clothes pre-treated with it are washed. When he washed his laundry, the whole house filled with the smell, and even after heavy washing and an extra rinse, the smell lingered. He dried his clothes after washing, and when he wore them, you could not smell fabric softener, his clothes smelled like nothing but the citrus Zep. When using it in the garage, we had to open all 3 windows and the back door, and it was a full 24 hours before the smell had dissipated enough to be in it for any length of time.AutumnD

Plain and simple, this stuff works. If you are cleaning or refinishing part, this does an excellent job of cleaning off all the built up gunk and surface corrosion. This provides a very nice foundation for further polishing and cleaning, it works very well when used with a powerwasher.J.S.
