Just tried this wax for my legs and it was the worst wax I've ever used. This wax does not grip hairs very well. I found myself having to repeatedly wax over the same areas twice, and I STILL have tons of stray hairs that weren't pulled out. I also had a hard time getting this wax to a comfortable temperature. I have no idea why, but it seemed to either feel too hot or it was too stiff to apply effectively when it was at a comfortable temperature. Terrible wax. Don't waste your time and money. I threw out the remainder of this wax.

I bought this for 1/3 of the price compared to Bliss azulene waxing kit. I was able to use a few tablespoons to heat vs a whole container of wax. Note- use on the stove in a double boiler. Do not microwave in a plastic cup etc. gets way too hot. The blue azulene wax works the best for me, much better than the honey type waxes. Better and no strips to buy. Good on coarser hair also. I don’t do many reviews but this product was worth a good review to share. Highly recommended
I was skeptical of using this type of wax, as I had never used hard wax before. Always the soft wax with strips. Let me just say it takes some getting use to, but not too bad. I gave myself a bikini/Brazilian wax once with the soft wax and sorry for the TMI, but right above my cl*it I had a tuft of hair that I could not get, ended up with a landing strip, as I coudn't get the hair off as the soft wax I was using was just not made for that. When I bought this and did the bikini/Brazilian NO LIE this stuff got the tuft of HAIR!!! AMAZING!!! I could see the roots on all the hairs that got pulled out! I wish they made bigger bags! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Hardens quickly, and stays in one solid piece. Does not crumble or break apart. Does not reheat when in contact with skin. Soothing formula for my very sensitive skin – even used it on my face. I'm listing things I hate about the others now that I've used this! So easy to work with. Melts quickly and evenly, and it's a SUPER PRETTY deep blue pearl hue. I absolutely love this wax. I wish I hadn't bought the hard wax that's a different formula. This is the best! I'm buying more! Stock up on this one, especially when it's on sale!

Honestly for the price it is a really good wax warmer. And all the accessories that come with it are good. The only thing I can say is you should definitely get a higher quality wax because the wax it comes with it seems very cheap and it didn’t really get my hair up it was just very patchy it wouldn’t come off in a single strip which if you get a higher quality wax it will do. Set temperature to High for 30-45 minutes until wax takes on a thin/creamy consistency, then set the temperature to Low for the rest of the day. 3. Test wax temperature on the backside of your wrist before waxing client. 4. Cleanse area to be epilated with cleanser and pat thoroughly dry with tissue. 5. Spray on numbing spray to temporarily numb the skin and let dry. 6. Apply a small amount of pre epilation oil sparingly to area to be epilated. 7. Holding the applicator at a 45 degree angle, apply a thick layer of wax in the direction of hair growth (if using near the eye area, instruct client to keep eyes closed). 8. Allow wax to cool on skin until it becomes soft and pliable, approximately 30 seconds. 9. Hold the skin taut and pull wax off (parallel to the skin) with one quick motion in the opposite direction of hair growth. 10. Immediately apply firm pressure to epilated area with the cushion of your fingers or palm of your hand to calm the skin. 11. Never re-apply wax to newly epilated areas. 12. This wax is dangerously good, like it's dangerous but it's also very good. THIS WAX IS NOT A BEGINNER PRODUCT. (I was introduced to hard wax from getting waxed professionally.) This was my first time using hard wax and I had to try it a couple times before getting the hang of it. But I'd seen/had it done before in person and I knew not to put boiling hot wax on my skin. Now it's way quicker, more effective, and more versatile than honey was, which sometimes doesn't stick depending on your skin–i.e. oily, sweaty, hormones, etc. The key is temperature–too hot and you burn yourself, too cold and it is a sticky the mess that ironically doesn't grab very well–and thickness of the strip–if it's too thin the wax will become one with your skin and be very difficult to remove, and if it's too thick it's wastes a lot and may not grab very well. It's basically hot glue for your skin. Literally if you've ever crafted or used a glue gun, the wax acts just like hot glue. It's also more high maintenance that honey wax because the metal container can't be heated in the microwave and you have to buy the wax dissolver/remover product separately. But it does work great if you know how to use it. All that said, honey wax is way easier to manipulate. So if you get good results with that, this may not be for you.GG Green
This is an amazing wax, especially for Brazilians! The negative comments are clearly made by people who have no idea what they are doing, or the patience to learn. Your not going to nail it like a salon the first time you do it yourself! You'll quickly learn what consistency you need and the best way to apply everyone is different. It has a good timeframe for workability, so your leaving it on entirely too long if it's breaking apart, slowly pull it, if it stretches easily or has liquify spots you can see or feel let it sit a few seconds longer. Do t wait till it's cooled all the way of your going to cuss yourself picking and ripping every little piece of hair off at that point. Like I said a little patience and your going to save yourself a ton of money. It's convenient and the wax itself works amazing! It's easy to use and it works! But the Floral hard wax is good, too. I'll write some tips that will help you with this. 2. So easy to spread. While many complained about how it doesn't get hard enough, I think they've missed out a fantastic trait. It is so much easier to spread! I tried using the brazilian hard wax on my legs and hands, and ended up using LOTS of wax because it hardens very quickly, so the spreadability isn't good. I ordered the Lotus Wax and was sent the White Tea instead. When I reached out to have this resolved they sent an email basically saying that once I sent the box back they would make it right and send the wax I actually ordered. Getting this extremely heavy box to UPS is a huge inconvenience with my physical limitations. This is one of my favorite waxes of all time. The color is beautiful. The elasticity is great and it removes a lot of the hair on the first strip. It also works really well on short hairs if laid extra thin and pulled while still tacky. It has a clean scent, I happen to enjoy the scent but can see perhaps it being problematic if others do not like it bc it is strong. My clients haven’t complained they seem to like the scent as well. Testing the wax temperature helps prevent overheating and helps ensure wax temperature is safe for use. If wax is too hot, let it cool for a few minutes and test again. Microwaving wax: Remove lid from jar. Place on a microwaveable plate. Microwave jar of wax for 50 seconds at high setting until wax is soft. Do not exceed 1 minute on the first heating interval as wax can overflow and cause burns. Let jar stand in microwave for 1 minute to cool before removing. If wax has not melted, additional heating time is required. Repeat at 10-second intervals until wax is warm and easily spreadable. Let jar stand in microwave for 1 minute to cool before removing, between heating intervals. Do not exceed 1 minute and 30 seconds total microwave heating time. Use the customized handle on the jar to remove from microwave. Use caution when handling. Carefully break the surface of the wax with the spatula and dip it into the wax. Gently stir from the bottom to the top with spatula. Wipe excess wax on jar edge. Avoid dripping or spilling the wax. If wax has not melted, additional heating time is required. Repeat at 10-second intervals until wax is warm and easily spreadable. If jar is uncomfortable to touch, let cool in microwave before removing. Wipe jar clean and replace cap after use. Adjust heating time according to the amount of product remaining in the jar. Less time for less product remaining in the jar. For example – if the jar is half full, microwave the jar of wax for 25 seconds at high setting for the first heating interval. Overheated wax can cause burns to the skin. Apply wax: Check wax temperature before applying. Test wax on the inside of your wrist. Wax should be warm, not hot. Determine the direction of hair growth – apply wax in the same direction. (Hair often grows in several directions in the same area. If needed, work on one small area at a time for accuracy.) Dip spatula into wax and rotate while removing to prevent wax from running or dripping. Use the spatula to apply a thin layer of wax over one small area at a time. Leave wax thicker at the end for a better grip and easier hair removal. Work on only one area at a time. Apply and remove wax from one area before moving on to the next. Remove wax: Important: be sure to remove wax while it is still slightly soft and pliable. Wax should be sticky to the touch and the edge can be lifted without difficulty. Always hold skin taut when removing wax. Gently lift up the edge of wax to get a firm grip. Hold skin taut with one hand and use the other hand to remove wax. Keeping hand as close to the skin's surface as possible, pull the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth. If wax is peeled off too slowly, wax will remain on skin and hair will not be removed. Immediately apply firm pressure to area with your fingertips or palm of your hand. A slight reddening of the skin is normal for several hours after removing hair by the root, as is a minor stinging sensation on sensitive skin. If a severe reaction occurs, discontinue use – do not proceed, and contact a doctor immediately. Do not re-use wax. Do not wax areas if skin is red or irritated. Waxing specific areas: Hair should be at least 1/4" long but not longer than 1/2". Trim longer hair before treatment. Bikini: follow steps 1-2. Tips: Decide on your desired bikini line before application. Work in small areas, from outer bikini line to inner bikini line. Complete one side before going on to the other side. I’m kind of heartbroken right now but I’m going to try to give a little bit of justice to the product. As a background I have really sensitive skin and usually I’m scared of trying new products such as waxing kits and that stuff but, I let myself go into this because I needed a really fast way to get rid of my facial hair above my lips. So I bought this Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit Face Bikini. And it does a good job but if you have sensitive skin please look for another options, I used it four hours after I exfoliate my skin With a sensitive skin exfoliating that I usually use for my bikini area And then I decide to use the strips, but as soon as I take them out, my skin will feel like it was burning and 72 hours after that my skin still feeling really itchy And I have some kind of scab on my skin.isabel.s
This new version is perfect! I use it for bikini line waxing so this review is based on waxing that area. It's sooo much better than the previous version of these strips. The new formulation gets all hairs off first time. I had no sensitivity. Absolutely perfect. A tip for first-time users: yes, this is a pretty tightly gripping wax strip, so you do have to rip it off literally as quickly as you can (quicker than their previous strips) so you'll get all the wax off with no pain or residue. This comes naturally to me since I've been waxing so many years, but new users unfamiliar with these strips will need to be faster and grip tighter on removal than with other brands. So long as you do that, it's fine. The massive bonus is that it gets all the hairs with it, which the previous version of the strips (and other brands) don't do – I could literally not find any other strip that handles coarse bikini line hair as well as this Sally Hansen one. My skin was fine after using this, no redness etc. I did NOT use the numbing wipes as I don't generally get any pain and I just didn't want to add a chemical to my skin. So I can't comment on how the numbing wipes work. I can't use Veet strips since my skin breaks out after so bad that ppl can see it (ugh) but these Sally Hansen body strips were fine.vickyfrankfort
I love these straps and have used these for years. I hate to have the need, but my facial hair is dark and I feel so much more confident when I'm not rocking a lady stash. One warning though, don't go over the same area more than once. I bought this item based on the good reviews; however, I found that it was a waste of money. The item was not cheap and, certainly, not worth the amount I paid for it. Although the wax got warm enough to stir, it was so thick it was almost impossible to use. I even had a warming plate that should have made it easier for the wax to melt and use. This wax is dangerously good, like it's dangerous but it's also very good. THIS WAX IS NOT A BEGINNER PRODUCT. (I was introduced to hard wax from getting waxed professionally.) This was my first time using hard wax and I had to try it a couple times before getting the hang of it. But I'd seen/had it done before in person and I knew not to put boiling hot wax on my skin. Now it's way quicker, more effective, and more versatile than honey was, which sometimes doesn't stick depending on your skin–i.e. oily, sweaty, hormones, etc. The key is temperature–too hot and you burn yourself, too cold and it is a sticky the mess that ironically doesn't grab very well–and thickness of the strip–if it's too thin the wax will become one with your skin and be very difficult to remove, and if it's too thick it's wastes a lot and may not grab very well. It's basically hot glue for your skin. Literally if you've ever crafted or used a glue gun, the wax acts just like hot glue. It's also more high maintenance that honey wax because the metal container can't be heated in the microwave and you have to buy the wax dissolver/remover product separately. But it does work great if you know how to use it. All that said, honey wax is way easier to manipulate. So if you get good results with that, this may not be for you.GG Green
This is an amazing wax, especially for Brazilians! The negative comments are clearly made by people who have no idea what they are doing, or the patience to learn. Your not going to nail it like a salon the first time you do it yourself! You'll quickly learn what consistency you need and the best way to apply everyone is different. It has a good timeframe for workability, so your leaving it on entirely too long if it's breaking apart, slowly pull it, if it stretches easily or has liquify spots you can see or feel let it sit a few seconds longer. Do t wait till it's cooled all the way of your going to cuss yourself picking and ripping every little piece of hair off at that point. Like I said a little patience and your going to save yourself a ton of money. It's convenient and the wax itself works amazing! Does exactly what is supposed to and pulls almost all the hair, you may have a couple to tweeze due to direction of growth but that's regardless who does it or what wax you use!Jessica H
Another fantastic product. Love, love, love! Comparison: 1. Yes, it doesn't get as hard as the Gigi Brazilian Hard wax. Gigi Brazilian hard wax is the first hard wax I've ever used and I LOVE IT. It's easy to use and it works! But the Floral hard wax is good, too. I'll write some tips that will help you with this. 2. So easy to spread. While many complained about how it doesn't get hard enough, I think they've missed out a fantastic trait. It is so much easier to spread! I tried using the brazilian hard wax on my legs and hands, and ended up using LOTS of wax because it hardens very quickly, so the spreadability isn't good. But I have absolutely no issue with the Floral hard wax. I can take my time spreading it over a large area, so I end up using less wax for the same area.melany.m

I’ve always prefered waxing than shaving or plucking. Complete set for all your waxing needs! Wax included is great! No reaction or pain, or slight pain because of the hair being pulled. No pain afterwards. Wax warmer works well. I usually turn it on low to get the slightly warm temperature and to have the wax melt almost soft taffy-like, not watery. Helps get the right amount of wax on the wooden spatula you need for the area you’re doing. Also helps you to peel off the wax better in one strip. Does exactly what it says it will do. I did have the bottle of Pre-epilation oil leak a little it the box, but only a few drops. Not so much that I was dissatisfied. Didn't really use it anyway. There is a learning curve to this. I received my order today and couldn't wait to try it out. I was tired of the shaving and I like to be really clean down there. It does take longer than any 45 minutes as the instructions say. It was about 1-1/2 hours to get it to the right consistency. You have to realize that you are heating up a lot of wax. Now, remember, this is the first time that I had ever done this. You need to make sure that you have about a 1/8 inch layer for it to work right. Yes, there is a little pain when you pull it off, but it subsides quickly and yes, there was the appearance of what looked like diaper rash. As I write this, it has been almost a half hour since I finished and the rash is gone. I did use the post wax cooling gel and it felt amazing. The hard wax, which does not require strips, is convenient and minimally painful. I would say that epilators and regular wax are more than twice as painful as this system. Must apply oil first or the wax will not come off your skin. Feel free to use other oils when the small GiGi bottle runs out. I've used almond, coconut, and tea tree and they all work the same. The oil acts as a barrier between the wax and you skin which prevents the painful pulling of your skin. Comes off very smoothly and pulls hair only. Very effective in only removing the hair. Can be used just about anywhere on your body. I usually use an epilator for my underarms (very painful) but when I tried this the first time I barely felt it and it removed 99% of the hair the first time! Make sure to try the wax on the back of your OILED hand to make sure it is not too hot before you apply it to a sensitive area. Then apply to the area you are waxing with a stick that is provided. Apply in the direction of hair growth in the shape of a strip. Apply pressure with your hand after removal. The heater is far more convenient than a microwave and far easier than the strips you warm by rubbing your hands together. Just plug in while you shower and it should be ready when you get out. Maybe 20-30 min heat time with the brown heater lid on. After multiple uses when the wax is full of hair just replace lid on can and discard. New cans are about $11 online. This wax hair removed did the trick! It worked. I do recommend caution if attempting a bikini area wax, as it is suuuuper painful. I read and followed the directions to the letter, and the wax didn't melt for like 2 mins! I get that every microwave is different but I thought I was doing something wrong. Then I went to put it on and it was impossiable to move, it didn't smooth over skin at all and I had to use a big amount to cover any area at all. The wax didn't even remove my hair!! I could see imprints where my leg hair was under the wax but it didn't take any hair with it when I pulled. And when I left the wax on my skin for even just a little longer (like over 30 secs) it got too brittle and broke off. The only plus was that the residue left on my leg came off easily with so witch hazel, and it was cheap.Not worth the hype
I have very sensitive skin and hate shaving. I bought this since all the workers at ulta said that it works really well and that if it breaks out my skin to return it. I took forever to heat up first of all, second of all it didn't remove ANY HAIR! I wasted like half of the container for one leg. Yes i applied a thick layer too still didn't do anything. I recently bought this instead of the Sally Hansen wax kit. As others have mentioned when you first heat it up, you do have to microwave it for 3 to 4 minutes to get the wax to melt. And the wax is only going to cover small areas like your armpits, facial hair or bikini area. If you plan to do a Brazilian I'd say you have enough wax only for your Brazilian. I found that if the wax broke then it was too hot when you applied it. so if it breaks on you, wait till it cools off a little bit and if it is too tacky /stretchy then you need to heat it up a little bit more. I am new to waxing but this to me is better than the Sally Hansen wax kit because it was less messy and easier to use since you don't need strips. It did not remove all of the hair from my bikini area but this is only my 3rd time waxing. I will probably invest in a wax warming kit with wax beads because it will be less wasteful than buying plastic containers and throwing them away.Misfit

I have been doing my own brazilian wax at home for years. And throughout these years I've religiously been using Gigi's hard wax. However, gigi's hard wax has always given my breakage and can never get all the hairs in one strip. I took a chance and used Wakse hard wax and let me tell you! This was such an investment and a huge upgrade! With one strip I can see all of the hair follicles that the one strip took! I was shook. I'm left with such a smooth skin and no breakage. The only thing that could be a con to most people is that the wax does harden fast as you apply it. But this doesn't bother me because I like to do my wax as quickly as possible so this was actually a pro for me! I like that it hardens quickly because I don't have to wait for the wax to harden. And even though it hardens fast, the wax still picks up each hair. I am so happy I took a risk on this wax. I also have a wax warmer so I didn't use their silicone cup, I just reused one of my empty gigi wax container and put the beads in there.JD
I usually get my mustache waxed off at the salon but with the pandemic, I'd rather try to do it myself at home these days. I've tried a few at home drugstore wax brands over the years and none ever worked well and usually made a mess (hence why I resorted to professionally help). I saw some reviews before buying that a few people were less than successful (in fact most reviews of at home wax kits regardless of brand were spotty at best) so I braced myself to expect that Wakse might not work out but I'm so desperate, I'll try it. The online description said all Wakse come with a spatula but my mini did NOT come with one though I expected it. It may be that the mini's don't come with one (makes sense cost wise) and the description online was just copied and pasted from the full size description. In a pinch, I ate a popsicle, cleaned off the wooden stick and used it to apply the wax and it worked! I read the instructions carefully on what to expect for consistency and how to microwave it. My microwave is not that powerful so it took longer to melt down the wax. You need to get that "honey" consistency in order for it to work. I think it's easier to err on the more melty and liquid side so you can control the timing by slightly stirring to test the consistency as it cools down to the right texture to be applied. As another reviewer mentioned, it did leave a couple wispy strings hanging after applying but I just broke off the string by hand, it was not a big deal, and for me, it's the only small draw back. It was so gentle for me to use, I expected it not to be strong enough to pull any significant amount of hair. To my happy surprise, it completely pulled off all of my mustache hair both coarse ones and fine ones! It was as good as a salon if not better! I think you need to make sure you're using the right technique, ie applying the wax in the right direction and pulling it off in the right direction correctly too. Also I made sure I gave the applied wax enough time to harden before pulling it off my face. If you do it too soon, it won't work. Took me about 20 minutes start to finish including the prep steps. I cannot say enough good things about this product. I have really thick, coarse, practically man-like stubborn chin hair that just doesn't want to go away no matter what. I went to salons where I paid an arm and leg some of whom couldn't really do it well, I tried waxing strips. Nothing worked nearly as well as this product! I tried this on the recommendation of the store employee and so glad I did. It was easy to use, easy to clean up, and painless. When I peeled it off my chin, nearly all the hair came off in a fell swoop. I first did a small test, but after that success, it was all off in 2 applications.
