I found Brickell by chance last November and took a shot on their sample pack. I really loved all of the products. They seem to work great and they smell amazing too. So far I’ve returned to buy this set along with the eye cream and facial scrub. My hair looks and feels great after just a week of using these two products. A little goes a LONG way. As with most products from brickell, I don’t prefer the smell. Their scented and unscented products don’t smell great for me, and I have lots of them now. They all do work fantastic, however. The shampoo my be my least favorite of the products I own if only because of the scent and dryness it leaves my scalp with. The conditioner in the other hand is a great product and I use it on my beard at times too. All the face products are great. The face lotion works really well for my dry skin and is what sold me on their products to be honest. Definitely my go-to for daily shampoo now. The scent alone makes it worth it, but it is also a premium shampoo overall. Lathers and cleans beautifully, my hair looks healthy and strong, and it it’s easier to style my hair now because it doesn’t lay flat or get randomly wavy like it does with bottom shelf shampoos. I have a lot of hair, my scalp is quite dry after i wash it, but then gets a build up of grease and oils over the course of the day and starts to smell. I wash my hair daily and was conscious that i may have overwashed my hair to date, causing my skin to increase the production of oils to stop my scalp from drying out – this shampoo was to be my saviour. However, it wasn't working for me at all. The team at Aveda were ready to help me refund or exchange it for another item and I was good to proceed – until that is, my wife (who's INVATI products had run out and was using this) told me how well it was working for her. So we kept it. Her hair has got healthier, thicker and feels really light and clean. She was experiencing thinning hair prior to going with the INVATI range, but favoured this. Once upon a time, companies started making most men's styling products out of wax, petroleum, and other greasy jar products that are really hard to get out of your hair. In response, they also made their Men's shampoos a lot more harsh, and the conditioners way too heavy. The result was products that are hard on your hair over time, especially if you don't use jar products at all. You have to condition almost every day to keep your hair from drying out, which isn't great for your hair if it's shorter. I've tried a lot of designer shampoos for men, and most of them aren't great. Sure, they're better than Head and Shoulders, but most of them are really harsh on your hair, or the silicones build up and make your hair dull over time. I decided to give this a try, and I was blown away at how well it works. It's moisturizing, but doesn't weigh your hair down. It cleans out products, but doesn't strip your hair and make your scalp feel dry. Paired with the conditioner, which is also excellent, my hair and scalp health have really improved. Smells great and works awesomely for getting those heavy products OUT of your hair. The inevitable downside is that it also removes all of your hair's natural (healthy) oils. Anyone who dyes their hair copper knows that copper pigmented hair dye will not stay onto the hair particle for long. A brand new copper color hair do will last about a week or two before it fades into a honey brown color, and eventually a yellow-brown color. With this in mind, there are products that will help to prolong the dye coloration and slow down the fade process, and I turn to Redken shampoo every time​ to get the job done whenever I need to prolong my copper dye. I use this along with the Redken conditioner Color Extend and shampoo three x a week, conditioner once a week, and my copper pigmented color will last about 2 months before it fades onto a honey brown and eventually to a yellowish brown by the 4 months mark. Let me preface this by saying I’m a fan of a “fresh” or “clean” scent. Always have been. Never one for the woodsy and florals. I was choosing between sea and surf and sage and juniper, and I picked the woodsy one since they both smelled relatively fresh with a tinge of spice in sea and surf and woodsy in sage and juniper. I knew it would be different in the shower and on my body so I squeeze out the clear liquid onto my loofah in the steamy shower. Wow. Let me tell you. Immediately I was sent deep in the woods surrounded by juniper trees and sage leaves. It felt like standing naked in the woods with trees all around me and a moonbeam aimed on my unadorned body. This body wash is not my usual preference but it was wonderful. Juniper+sage is my favorite scent from the body wash line so I decided to try out the shampoo+conditioner. The scent once again is awesome, but something seems wrong with the consistency of the liquid. As soon as I opened the cap and tipped the bottle, the shampoo streamed out filling my hand and overflowed onto the floor. I even shook the bottle a few times in case there was some type of inconsistency, but no matter, every time I tip the bottle over the shampoo streams out. I don't know if all method shampoo is like this, but if it is, I'll stick with another brand.trailcat

Scent is ok, not my favorite. Your shampoo products are thinner than your body wash products. When using the shampoo, as soon as you barely tilt the bottle, shampoo runs out freely and causes a mess and wasted product. Perhaps you could thicken up the formula or maybe reduce the diameter of the hole on the shampoo bottles. That would help prevent the product from free pouring when not desired. I really like this product. Its gentle on afro caribbean hair and gets it really clean without drying out your hair. I use a conditioner from a different range and I am totally happy with the outcome. It doesn't seem to disturb the natural balance of your hair. Its a very gentle product. The Shampoo/condituoner works pretty good for me, but I gotta use it twice to get the results I want bur that's with most shampoo and conditioner I used before I jisy wish this had more of the scent to it, as like the body wash when u put some of that on a wash clothe or a scrubbie puff and start to use it the scent fills the bathroom, and is wonderful! I was previously using the menthol dandruff shampoo/conditioner, but because of my hair type, it was leaving my hair a little too oily. But this one is PERFECT! Axe Hair Total Fresh Clean All Over is really great as a body wash & not so great at shampooing and conditioning. I tried it after my hubby's trial run and we both would not use on our hair again, but we are still using as a body wash. Possibly too harsh for our fine hair, I'm unsure. Neither one of us are big on heavy, overpowering scents, so we are both pleased with the light and refreshing scent that dissipates with time. (We are of the belief that people at the other end of Costco should not be able to smell our hair/body products, but unfortunately, too many manufacturers think otherwise. Honestly I can't rave about this product enough. My dad, ex, and husband all use and love this product. It's refreshing, it smells nice, it leaves your hair clean. It's not overly soft but does add shine and moisture to hair. I've bought so many products for my husband to try, and he hasn't really liked any of them. To preface. I'm a 25 female. Natural light brown hair, bleached low maintenance blonde. Thick wavy frizzy hair that reaches the lower bottom of my back. Prone to split ends and breakage at the bottom of my hair. No extensions. I wanted to add this so people with similar hair types can relate. So to start, I'm so torn on this shampoo… I tried it for 3 weeks and I do like that this shampoo and conditioner cuts down on my overall frizz and made my hair so much smoother and less likely to tangle which is exactly what I was looking for. BUT there is some things about this shampoo I just can't ignore. First off the smell, I just can't get past it. It reminds me of a menthol cigarette. It just smells sooo minty and lingers after washing. Some people may not mind the smell but if my shampoo is going to linger, I'd prefer it to smell like something other than strong mint and almost a tea tree smell. Second, when the conditioner sets for a couple minutes before rinsing out I've noticed that my back and neck where the product has been laying in my hair will get very cold and tingly. Almost like how when you have a breath mint you get the same effect in your mouth but it's on your body this time. This alone made me decide not to repurchase. I like my shower water very warm and I found myself constantly turning the heat up because while the conditioner set I would get extremely cold from the tingly feeling. It can be overwhelming sometimes and linger even after washing the area thoroughly and drying off. I would assume if this was a shampoo and conditioner without the minty smell that I was having an allergic reaction to it but since it has that smell I just really don't know if the tingle is intended or not. And lastly, I've noticed a lot of small breakage at the top of my hair by my scalp. I'm not prone to breakage that high and only notice it after a fresh bleach every once and a while although it is usually very rare for me. I should note that it has been 3 months since my last bleach since I am a low maintenance blonde and I was not using this product during my last bleach. I also take a lot measures to protect my hair that could be the cause of breakage that high. So at this point only thing I've changed is this shampoo and conditioner. I've decided not to finish the rest of the bottle due to concerns about further breakage. This is just my experience. Some people seem to love it but it's a no from me. I hope this helps some people on the fence after reading conflicting reviews. I've switched to Joyco kpac reconstructing shampoo that has also given me the same desirable results so far with a much better smell, no breakage, and most importantly no tingly feeling on by skin.Lexi

I saw the hair loss reviews but if the hair is coming out at the follicle then that is definitely health related not from a shampoo. Shampoo cannot cause hair loss unless maybe a severe reaction to the scalp and there's swelling and for whatever reason the follicle comes out with it but that is highly unlikely. But anyways back to my review lol this is the most hydrating gentle shampoo I've ever used it's perfect! It cleans my hair and makes my scalp feel so refreshed but my hair is detangled and moisturized! And the conditioner is so creamy and moisturizing! The scents for both are so relaxing to me and my hair and scalp are taken care of with this set of shampoo and conditioner. my hair is so soft, shiny and perfectly moisturized. This Old Spice product gets the job done for a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. First thing to notice, the scent is subtly sweet, not too powerful. Smell is versatile in that it's a nice way to kick off your day or relax after the work day or a workout. The lather and coverage performs pleasantly for my thin, medium length hair. I haven't needed to double up on the product. After a rinse, my hair feels clean with no excess residue. I purchased this last week and was really looking forward to using it this weekend. I ve been searching for a good, mosisturizing shampoo for my 4c locks. Upon openening it, I enjoyed the light scent. I also was hopeful when I saw the formula is a creamy one. I washed my hair with it yesterday. While the lather was nice, Iediately felt that it was causing dryness. I rinsed it out and skipped a second wash. Sure enough, this shampoo caused my hair to become extremely dry and brittle, along with horrible tiny knots that took a lot of work to untangle and get out. I have never experienced this with other shampoos. I did a deep condition with a non-protein conditioner, and it helped a bit, but although this product is advertised as being beneficial for natural, 4 hair, I do not recommend it for those of us with low porosity 4c hair. The damage was so bad that my twists are still dry and brittle a day later. I will be shopping for a different formula today in hopes of reversing the damage caused by this.Tia

Only recently have I laid attention to what I use for my hair. But reading made me realize that those who shampoo every day should be careful. Strong like T-Gel is rough but I have major dandruff. I found using Huron 5 days and the T-Gel on 6 works just fine and I can see and feel the differencenicholas

I love everything about this product. The scent is pleasing. The packaging is functional. The price point is reasonable. I started out with the body wash and tried all of the Huron products. I highly recommend all of them!Doug
