My boyfriend and I got bored today and we decided that he could wax my legs and I could wax his back since we both hadn’t shaved in awhile. I literally haven’t laughed this hard… ever. If I could post the video on here, I would. Honestly a great idea for bored couples needing something new to spend time together. I watched some YouTube reviews after I bought it and they all said it sucked and it didn’t work and LET ME TELL YA those people are big fat liars. You stick that puppy on there and leave it for about thirty seconds and then yank it off and ALL that hair is gone. We only had two problems the whole time. 1) He pulled too much at an angle one time and it ripped so he had to do it again (ouch). And 2) Idk if you can pull it too fast but one time the strip came off and the wax didn’t. The wipes are amazing though. They’re super slick and oily and with the tiniest bit of pressure that stuff comes right off. Highly recommend a cold wet washcloth to place on the area after you rip it. Anyways I’d give these bad boys an 8/10 for functionality and 10/10 for entertainment.Madeline

Very disappointing. The packaging and color is super cute but the results were not. I usually get Clean Easy wax strips but since I couldn't find any, I bought these. I cleaned my armpit with toner and added talcum to ensure drieness and I popped it on. It only caught one hair and was the wax is too soft and wet for my taste. Then the wipes are drenched in a oil, which was nice I guess but it leaves your fingers and hand all oily. Had to wash my hands twice because after the first strip, I wouldn't be able to pull the next one since it was slippery. Also I couldn't rip "too fast" otherwise paper you're holding rips off. These wax strips are the worst. They smell like grape cough syrup, and have a jelly like texture to them instead of a hard wax. They dont do a good job of ripping the hair out, maybe 1/3 of the hairs under the strip come out, most of them just get broken off at the skin or aren't affected at all. Yes I was using them correctly. This is not my first time waxing at home, I read all the instructions, and even after using them correctly they didnt work anywhere near as well as any other wax strip. They're all garbage. So now the hair will grow back unevenly where some were broken off while others were successfully pulled out. Don't buy this product.Krista

These are easy to use and work well for stubborn chin hair. The instructions are straighforward and I like that the kit also comes with lotion for you to wipe off any extra wax. It did take 5 passes to remove all the visible chin hair from one side of my face, and just one pass for the other side. So I can see that results may vary. I’ve only used this once. Love these! There was a time where I could not find these anywhere and I freaked bc all the other brands did not work for me! These are the only ones that don’t leave my sensitive skin irritated, and they don’t leave clumps of reside behind. The fabric strips mold to your face so they don’t wrinkle causing the wax to fold and making the pull off painful. One box costs me less than getting my upper lip threaded or waxed. One strip is enough for my upper lip. Considering there is 12 double sided strips in a box, this Can last me 12 lip waxes which saves me almost $60 from a salon. I love these. When using them, if your skin is sensitive, or you’re nervous, put a light coat of powder in the spot you’re going to wax first and test a small spot before going all in. Rub them between your hands until they are warmer and softer, but still take a little pulling to get apart. For my eyebrows, I draw a line to match my brow line and cut the strip so that it fits easier and I can get more hair without being scared it will take the whole brow off. I use the scraps for between the brows. I wish they gave us more of the wipes to get the wax off, but you can use any oil you have on hand on a napkin once you run out. Be sure to smooth them down with pressure in the direction of the hair, then rip them off in the opposite direction— against the grain if you will. Just put the strip between your hands and rub back and forth quickly, building up heat by friction. I do this for about one minute. The wax will be on both sides when you part the strip. The people that harmed their skin may have left the strip on too long; the ones that did not have much hair removed, may have not pressed the strip enough before waxing. You just press firmly and strip. It also comes with some calming pads. Feels so nice and makes the skin soft. I love this product! To make note of some of the cons on other reviews, you need to consider your circumstances and approach to the use of this product. Do you have sensitive skin? Is this your first time waxing? Did you REALLY follow the instructions? You also have to consider, how hairy is your lip? In my case, I am used to waxing and it had been 2 months. The second half came out better than the first, as expected (practice makes perfect). However, every single hair wasn't removed (is it ever?). To avoid chemical or temperature burn from any wax, NEVER reapply wax in the same area… which I read a lot of people doing to missed spots! Those need to be tweezed, which I did, and VOILA! All the hair was gone! Furthermore, I'm strongly confident that this product will do an even better job at regular maintenance. I plan to use weekly. This stuff is excellent if you are going for a "I had lip fillers and it went HORRIBLY wrong" look or maybe even the "I fancy looking like an alien of Star Wars" approach. When I ordered this online, there was no mention of any contraindications to using it. When I received it and opened the packaging, there's immediately a large notecard, telling me that if I use any skincare products that contain fruit based acids, AHS's, glycolic acid or retinol that I shouldn't use this product. I'm a middle aged woman and definitely use skin care products with those ingredients and I assume this is true for many women who might be interested in this product. This new version is perfect! I use it for bikini line waxing so this review is based on waxing that area. It's sooo much better than the previous version of these strips. The new formulation gets all hairs off first time. I had no sensitivity. Absolutely perfect. A tip for first-time users: yes, this is a pretty tightly gripping wax strip, so you do have to rip it off literally as quickly as you can (quicker than their previous strips) so you'll get all the wax off with no pain or residue. This comes naturally to me since I've been waxing so many years, but new users unfamiliar with these strips will need to be faster and grip tighter on removal than with other brands. So long as you do that, it's fine. The massive bonus is that it gets all the hairs with it, which the previous version of the strips (and other brands) don't do – I could literally not find any other strip that handles coarse bikini line hair as well as this Sally Hansen one. My skin was fine after using this, no redness etc. I did NOT use the numbing wipes as I don't generally get any pain and I just didn't want to add a chemical to my skin. After over 10 years in the beauty industry (hair and waxing services), I like to try the new products to the market. I will say – I was super impressed by the professional looking packaging. It was chic, and inviting. The strips are the perfect size for both your eyebrows and lip area. The messy part comes in at waxing time. Your fingers will get sticky, and it’s a bit tough to see exactly where you’re laying the wax, because there’s such a large parameter around the strip that does not have wax. I would suggest trimming the strip right to the wax (that’s what I’d do if I tried them again), so you can see exactly where you wax line will be. You’ll want to press down and smooth it out pretty well, because it does struggle to get the hairs out. (See my before and after.) Overall, in a pinch these would work, you’ll just need to tweeze the leftover hairs. If you’re looking for salon-quality waxing, keep going to the salon.Lauren7

I'm too much of a wimp to wax so I use a razor but recently started delving into other types of hair removal. The strips come apart easy enough and you can use both sides. You simply smooth the strip over your unwanted hair in the direction it grows in then hold your skin taut and literally rip those hairs out in the opposite direction. You can then use the post wax cloths to remove any residue wax left behind.� Sounds painful right? Wrong, it's actually not as bad as I thought. I know when I've used wax strips in the past I've given up after the first one but these are alot less painful than I remember. I was able to use each strip 4 times and used 6 strips for one leg. Straight away I could see how much hair it removed and it only missed a few hairs around my knobbly knee.� I haven't seen any regrowth in the couple of days since I used them unlike with a razor. Ok so when I first tried these, I followed the directions exactly and i thought it was trash. Disappointing. Nothing came out. Then, a few weeks later I tried again, but I skipped the baby powder and just used it on my normal skin that hasn’t been just washed or anything. And it worked amazing! Got the majority of the hair out. Also in areas where you might not really be sure what direction the hair is growing in, I recommend ripping off strips in different angles to see what works best. I was ripping from down-up and nothing came out, and switched to up-down and it worked a lot better. Also they only give you 4 wipes, but it’s literally just baby oil which you can buy for like $2 an entire bottle.nkp

Ok August 27th I used these and here it is Sept. 10th, still no signs of leg hair! Yay! These are super easy to use, they don't hurt when used on my legs but my bikini area… let's say I'll pass. Depending on how "hairy" one's leg is, 1 strip was good for one leg. They put 2 strips together then all you do is gently peel them apart. I bought these because I was sick and tired of shaving my legs. I would shave, then 3-4 days later I'm looking down and I'm like "WTH! I JUST shaved!" Since my now 16yo doesn't tell me my legs are getting hairy anymore, I saved myself some embarrassment and just purchased these. Well worth the money spent!heather.a

Wax did an amazing job removing my leg hair! And this is coming from a POC with THICK hair!! Works even better than the Nair brand. I typically use the wax strips after a shower or soak in the tub to ensure the pores are open. I was able to use the strips more than once which was a nice surprise! The only thing I didn’t like were the finishing wipes: sadly they hardly removed the wax residue for me; Nair’s brand has better finishing wipes. These wax strips are the worst. I used the ones for the upper lips, and they ripped off my skin causing burning along with redness. My upper lip hairs were removed but I still had a mustache that wasn't made up of hair but redness. The redness took a while to fade away along with the burning. If you are reading this and have used this product getting affected use burn gel and aloe vera. I will continue to use the wax strips since I wasted my money on them however, I will use them on less sensitive areas. If I could give this product zero stars I would.Sana Hamdan

This is one of the worst products I have ever used in my life. I followed every direction exactly. Most of the hair was completely untouched only now it’s sticky. I can see on one of the strips where it seems to have taken off the top layer of skin. Tons of wax was left on the skin and no about of scraping or scrubbing will remove it. I just spent 30 minutes trying to get that garbage off my face and I still didn’t get it all. Everything hurts, some of my skin is now raw and it’s still covered in hair. I will never use any Sally Hansen product again. I’d give it zero stars if I could.Sticky and angry

I was super excited to try this! I got 30 strips for $7, so I was excited about the price too! I was fully expecting the mild pain that goes along with waxing- but it’s worth it for 8 weeks of not having to shave. To my disappointment, I’m going to have to go shave anyway. Following the directions exactly, and the strips left a lot of hair behind. One box is definitely not enough for both legs, especially since you can’t reuse the strips a second time like you can with other brands I’ve tried. Definitely not for sensitive skin either. It works well, it works the same as more expensive ones would, it’s kinda stringy like the wax you can heat in the microwave but it’s not that bad tbh and the smells are good only reason there’s not 5 stars is because i’m kinda confused on what the tins are for and i’m not sure how i’m supposed to clean out the wax and switch to another. Honestly for the price it is a really good wax warmer. And all the accessories that come with it are good. The only thing I can say is you should definitely get a higher quality wax because the wax it comes with it seems very cheap and it didn’t really get my hair up it was just very patchy it wouldn’t come off in a single strip which if you get a higher quality wax it will do. I had used other waxing strips before but I wanted to give this a try. unfortunately it was a waste of money for me. it hardens too quickly and gets very messy in the jar. I had grown out my leg hair forabout 3 weeks but it pulled some hairs out and left some in. additionally most of the hairs that I pulled out were broken rather than being pulled at the root. My underarm hair grows in at least 3 directions. i was careful not to overheat the wax. I noticed small bubbles forming when I stirred so I didn't use it until they stopped. The first one or two strips… ouch, but it worked well. After that I wasn't really bothered, but I applied the wax so many times & had to keep reheating. It kept getting super stringy & that's how I knew it wouldn't work. The plastic container is impractical so I think I'll invest in a wax warmer. It says not to wax over the same area but I watched tutorials where they did it so I tried & it was fine. I did my bikini area, trying to go full brazilian but there wasn''t enough wax. it kept getting stuck to the sides of the container & waa difficult to scrape & get to melt. This area was more painful than the armpits lol. It says not to wax around your period because of the pain but my period is irregular from an iud so I never know when it will show up so that may have caused more pain. It smells pretty good & it gets coarse hair well, not so much really fine or short hair. I would buy this over the waxing strips that are everywhere, but next time I want something more efficientk

I got this because I was nervous to buy a better wax and have it shipped to me in the summer. After trying this one — which is absolutely horrendous, I decided to chance the better wax being boiled in a hot van. After using this I honestly wish I had been boiled in a hot van too. Working time with it is too short. It smelled good but too much like food. It didn't pull out any of my hair and was incredibly difficult to work with the whole time. Overall a big bummer.D E
