This paper has been a great asset for our product photography. The paper is thick and not transparent at all. The only faults in my eyes were the texture can be picked up in macro photos and the paper being so thick has some intense creases if bent, and does not move easy. I've read a lot of reviews about disappointments with the low quality of some backdrop fabrics that are too thin and wrinkle or rip. This is good stuff at a very fair price. Very large and worked flawlessly as a backdrop for my brother's furniture photo shoot. Eliminated the glare from the light colored back wall. It took a long time for me to realize just how harmful that back wall was reflecting too much light onto the surface of his beautiful wood tops, and washing out the color and hiding the grain. It is very black and absorbing – however the common comment regarding it being difficult to keep clean is spot on. If you have dust, pets or things floating around on the floor of where you will be shooting – it will be stuck to this back drop and the bag it comes in (it's the same material). That is not to say, don't buy it, but it will require a bit of work to keep it clear of debris if it encounters it..Great to shoot with though -!glenn

I expected this backdrop to be more than it is. Upon opening the package my first impression is it's no more than a giant black fleece blanket. It did however photograph decently.. but it picked up a TON of lint that just sticks to the material. I would not buy this again if I had to do it over.angie g.

This is a nicely saturated color. For my monitor the color swatch on the website is pretty close, but I included an image with a color checker, so you can calibrate it for your screen. I like the product at 7ft because it gives me a lot of versatility with positioning multiple models and when I am just photographing one model I get a chance to move around and frame without going beyond the color.Allison
