I've tried a beauty blender, brush, and my hands. This foundation doesn't want to stay on even with powder. It also irritates my eyes even if it's blended with space from my eyes. The foundation also love dry patches and clings onto them for dear life, but not the rest of your face? I've used primer, no primer, and still got the same result. I know some products are user error, but I've tried anything I can think of to make it work. I used a lot of the product at first, then less, but it still has issues at any amount used. I also used the mehron and nyx setting sprays to help keep it on, but it was just a waste of setting spray. I understand this is a correction creme, however, it doesn't stay on to do what is advertised. Lastly, if you sweat easily on your face, DONT GET IT. I will not repurchase.Court
Dermablend's unique selling point "used to be" that they offered near exact skin tone matching along with sunscreen (for skin health and to prevent skin tone change). They had the best advertisements proving this point – including one impressive ad Dermablend had with a head-to-toe tattooed gentleman getting covered with their make-up. That ad and others were pretty awesome. I am sad to say that is not the case anymore at least where this concealer product is concerned. I know lots of things changed during the last couple years, and I cannot say if that is good/bad necessarily. Hopefully, they are not drifting more into the "make-up counter" make-up where Estee Lauder, Mac, and Chanel and other brands. I really don't know and am not here to judge – just sharing my experience. After 10+ years as customer, I am no longer because the primary product I used to use, "Smooth Liquid Camo Concealer", was replaced with this "Continuous Correction Cream" and its closest color is still very far from what it was originally. Would've gladly paid 25-50% more for that "Camo" product because it matched so well. Not only is the shade too dark for me, but the make-up "finish" is "shiny" which is something I associate with make-up from the 1970s. So, unless you're a 15 year-old girl trying to get into a nightclub (is that a thing anymore?) and actually want to look older, then this is the makeup for you. I know everyone has different skin types and what may work on someone may not work for another, even if you have similar skin. However, I absolutely love this product! I would give it 6 stars if I could. I struggle to incorporate sunscreen into my makeup routine because I feel like there's too much product happening with moisturizers, primers, serums, etc. Thats my own fault for not knowing what the heck I'm doing, but this foundation is a wonderful fix! I normally aim for medium coverage which you can get with this foundation, while it blends seamlessly into your actual skin tone and doesn't look caky, cling to dry patches, or fade with the day. I was happy to try the Neutrogena Clear Coverage CC Cream. I have combination skin so most matte foundations wind up extremely cakey and dry looking. At first, the application was perfect. Goes on as a light to medium coverage however it’s buildable into almost full coverage without feeling thick and heavy. It completely covered a pimple I had in my chin and made my face look airbrushed. The reason for my 4 star rather than a five is because after an hour or so it did settle into the pores on nose. It also caused slight creasing in my smile lines and under eye. My deeper wrinkles were perfect and unaffected. My nose was very noticeable but the wrinkle creasing was not unless you looked very close. I do think this definitely performed better than most matte creams for me. I tried using different primers and application processes to see if the same would happen and it did. Overall I would still recommend this product and find it to be worth trying.Jennie4148
This matte CC Cream provided full coverage for several hours. I actually prefer a matte finish to a dewy one. I am sometimes oily in the T-zone and this CC cream delivered, and I did not look oily in that area. This product looked best on me when I moisturized and used a primer beforehand. When I didn't prime, the CC cream settled a little more into my fine lines, and gave me a few dry patchy areas. The alabaster shade worked perfectly with my skin tone. I am a fair/porcelain shade with blue eyes and blonde hair and have neutral undertones. The shade blended flawlessly and felt so lightweight, which I loved. My skin had a few blemishes, and can also appear a little blotchy, and this covered the unevenness really well, and also hid my blemishes. I didn't give it 5 stars because I felt a little bit of a tingling/itchiness at times…almost like I could feel my skin drying out. I have combination skin that tends to get shiny as the day progresses but I prefer a matte look so I am always using oil absorbing sheets to get rid of the excess shine. I was excited to try the Neutrogena Clear Coverage Flawless Matte CC Cream in the hopes it would give me an all day matte look. I was, however, not impressed with the product overall. I can say that it does do it's job with providing a matte look, so I will give it that. This specific color was not for me; warm peach was too orange/peachy for my skin. The CC cream was hard to blend; it felt like it was drying quickly as I was applying it; I used my fingers to blend, not a beauty blender or brush. While it provided a lot of coverage, I felt that it was very noticeable that I was wearing makeup; it made some of my pores more visible and some of the lines on my forehead more visible. I purchased this set along with the oil free version awhile back. I am finally almost done with them and need more, but all shades are gone!!! I need the Q to restock and offer another TSV of this Duo set. This Full Coverage works really well and does not break out my skin like some other brands. I buy only good skin care products and have tried them all. I have great skin in my mid-50's, but find that I now have some discolorations. However, my texture and firmness is great at my age, having taken care of my skin since my 20s. I do want IT to bring more colors in for Asian complexions. The Fair and Fair Light works best for me because it doesn't have a lot of pink. We have neutral cool complexions. So maybe a Buff color for the summer months without going to Medium? I no longer tan but I do tan easily, so the CC cream works if I do get some color just being by being outside. I know Jamie sold her IT company to L'Oreal, so I am really hoping they don't change her formula or increase the price. I know the new formula called "glow" is lighter, but there is something there that makes my eyes itchy. So, I am worried that the IT products as a whole may be faced with changes. This was my everyday foundation a couple years ago but I switched to tinted moisturizers because my skin looked so great on its own, especially with a summer glow. Not due to this foundation, I had just really nailed my skincare routine. I bought another bottle of this last week for a little more coverage on my pale winter skin, knowing it worked great for me before. I used to put this on with my fingers but found it didn't work whatsoever this time around. Must be applied with a brush, which, fine I can do that. But did the formula change or something? I don't remember it being finicky or as waxy? It stays put all day which is great, but also, I can really feel it on my skin in the evenings. Makes me want to wash my face clean right after dinner. In conclusion, I'm having mixed feelings about this stuff my second time around. I don't know if I have become so used to the light, can't feel it on my skin properties of tinted moisturizers or if something about this product has changed. This is hands down the best foundation liquid I've ever used during the 20 years I've been wearing foundation. I have dry, very fair skin (I'm a pale redhead with light coloured eyes). I use the "Fair" shade of this cream. Coverage is long lasting and very natural looking. One light layer gives an almost imperceptible 'Your Skin but Better' filter, and for evenings or events I layer it up to give better coverage. If you don't use a setting powder then the cream will rub off easily onto your hand (e.g. when touching your face to remove a hair in your eye), so you should set your make up after applying this. You don't need a heavy matte powder to set it, just a light dusting of a fine translucent powder will work perfectly. The foundation gives a dewy finish. I don't notice the "glitter" that other reviewers complained about – there's a very subtle shimmer, for sure, but not glitter. You can't see actual pieces of glitter on your skin. Someone on here complained that it made her wrinkles show up even more than without the cream: she must not be applying it correctly. You have to pat/blend/sponge/massage it on to your skin for it to be done well. This is the same rule for all foundation creams. Blending and gentle but thorough application is just part of any makeup routine. Another amazing thing about this cream apart from the longevity, the flexibility of coverage, the natural effect, and the light dewy finish, is the SPF: Factor 50. It works. I have an odd relationship with this CC cream, as it's an odd product. Buyers should know that it is very thick, almost greasy, and has very little/almost no coverage. Which doesn't make much sense, and yet I keep reaching for it. I think of it not as a complexion product, but rather a tinted sunscreen for times of the year when my skin needs extra moisture. It leaves a dew and slightly sticky finish on the skin until it absorbs, which takes time. After that the skin looks plump and hydrated. It's a great option for no-makeup makeup if you are looking for almost no coverage and have dry/dehydrated skin. Otherwise the formula will feel heavy and cloying. It has a fairly strong herbaceous scent, but I personally enjoy it and my sensitive skin has no issue tolerating it. And despite its thick texture and some coconut oil in the formula, it does not break me out which is kind of a miracle. Overall a very enjoyable product for the right buyer. If the thought of Jones Road WTFoundation turns you off, skip this as I think it's a similar product with SPF and less coverage.KER

I love this CC water for year round use! I have oily skin, so this light version works for me. It makes my skin look beautiful without looking like it has heavy make-up on. It looks more natural than foundation. The slightly darker tint (compared to the CC cream) works for me (I use caramel). This is the only base I use now, with primer and sunscreen underneath during the day. I will continue to buy this forever!NR
I use the Eborian CC cream and thought I would give the CC Water a go. I bought my usual shade of Clair to compare the two. I heard reviews of the CC water being a more bronzed finish but I would say it's orange. I have found it very difficult to bend down the neck as the shade is too strong and not at all like the original CC cream. The consistency is similar to 'Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum' by Rosie Huntington Whiteley. Pigment suspended in a serum that you really have to warm up and work into the skin for the application. A gimmick I feel and not worth the effort, price tag and moderate end results for both. The Erborian CC Creme (Silver tube) Is well worth purchasing though, works sympathetically with freckles.SamCS
This product is nice if you go into it knowing what to expect. I was hoping for some coverage, but the color coverage is extremely minimal. However it does make my skin look better somehow. I have oily/normal combo skin and while this feels nicely hydrating it dries down to a satiny finish, not shiny or greasy. Those with dry skin might not find it hydrating or glowy enough. Also, the shade Clair is not orange on my light skin (or grey), which is a plus. So, to summarize, it's pretty good if you're looking to very naturally improve your skin's appearance without the look of any makeup. If you want a more typical CC cream with some coverage, try another product.Steph

I discovered this CC cream after receiving a sample with the BB cream. At first I was a little hesitant to try it as I have always preferred higher coverage products. Also, because I have freckles, some low coverage products just make my skin look very uneven. But I tried it whilst on holiday and have since purchased the full size. I used it every day in summer as a light base. It still does a lot to even out skin tone and perk up my complexion, so it worked really well on "no makeup makeup days". It also holds up surprisingly well with a bit of setting powder. And it just looks so natural. I love it and use it on days when I'm not using the BB cream. They are both amazing.
So I received this in my ipsy bag. I'm 42 yrs old dry skin , fine lines, major redness. This corrects and evens out my tone. Hide almost all my redness. It also has spf which I like for my sun damaged cheeks. I love that it doesn't sink in my fine lines and it seems very hydrating. Plays well with a lot of different moisturizers, primers , and concealer. (I don't wear foundation) I can use this (give a few minutes to sink in) and then I dot and blend shape tape all around my face and I'm completely covered and can sweat pretty good without this coming off. I bought this from a recommendation from the lovely lady in the shop. I was looking for something lighter than a foundation but with more evening out powers for the whole face as I mostly just used concealer where needed before so this seemed like a gentle step for me towards more coverage. I love the feel of it as it goes on and that it adjusts to my skin tone. It’s got a lovely light clean scent and makes my skin feel much more soft. I feel at the end of the day my face feels more even toned than it did before but don’t feel like I’m changing the natural colour of my skin. i love chanel lipsticks and i was so exciting to purchase this product. chicness is a lovely brown shade that doesn’t pull too warm nor cool on my pale complexion. it’s a bit deeper and more brown than the most popular shade boy. the texture is very thin and hydrating, and doesn’t sink into any lip lines. my biggest issue is with the lasting power. even if i don’t eat, the product disappears after an hour or two so i have to reapply constantly throughout the day. i still enjoy it for before a zoom meeting, but it’s not something i’d wear on a date outside because it fades so quickly. i will say, though, i appreciate that it fades evenly so that i don’t need a mirror or tissue when i reapply!alessia.l
Whilst Flashy, this nude sheer lacks the pinky brown hue of it's Shine predecessor. Sadly, it's so pale I need to use it over lip liner or other lipstick base to avoid looking washed-out. The new packaging is pretty but this 54 is not the reliable Boy that I can apply and fly out the door. I have been using coco rouge flash for a couple of years now! Love the formula, very smooth. Has a little shiny gloss which makes it look very classy. Unfortunately doesn't last long and not very rich in the pigment and hence may need a repeat application if you are out and about on a long day. This is a great CC cream! Good coverage, goes on fairly matte, and has sunscreen to help boost your coverage. Very easy to quickly throw on with a beauty blender if you don't feel like putting on a full face of makeup before going out, or just prefer something more subtle that does more than just even out your skin tone (which it does well with a solid selection of shades). It also mattifies any sunscreen you have on underneath, and does a good job color correcting any leftover white cast. As an aside, I only recently began experimenting with makeup, and the sea of brands with all different types; foundation, concealer, lipstick, gloss, highlighter, contour, bronzer, eyeliner, mascara, BB cream, CC cream — I think people forget just how ridiculously daunting makeup is for someone who has no experience. Whether it be men, trans women, or just anyone who's late to learning. This is a fantastic, affordable cream that's easy to learn with and provides sun protection and a little bit of moisture. I am pleased with the product itself — the consistency, the coverage and the feel on my skin are all great. My only complaint is the color. On the positive side: I like that a little bit of product goes a long way. It doesn't feel too heavy or thick but it isn't runny, either. It feels smooth and lightweight. It covers enough but still looks natural, which is the style I like. I prefer more of a BB cream to a full foundation and this is the right balance. I also feel that it lasts well. However, I was hoping the color would be a better match. I have very fair skin, especially this time of year (winter). I often find that "fair" colored products are too orange-y, and sadly that is true of this product, too. If I don't blend it perfectly, there will be orange spots, and the final finish has more of an orange hue than I'd like. I'm getting around this by mixing it with a bit of my Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer in Fair Rose — which is the perfect shade for a concealer for my fair, cool skin!! I absolutely love that product. I wish this product were closer to that one in color but the foundation is darker. I'm hoping by combining the two I can make it work, but I would love to see a more fair option in this product. If you can find the right color for you, this is a great product. But be wary if you have super fair skin.MissyB
I got the shade 210 N , which I thought wd match me bcz its a tad bit orange on me… iherb has only a few shades of the elf camo cc cream , so you hv limited choice. But the cc cream itself has good shade range on elf website. Apart from this, I really enjoyed using this cc cream. I applied smashbox primer underneath this.( I hv oily skin n) It dried quickly on my skin. Which I appreciate as I want my spf to stay put on the skin. No noticeable scent. It has mineral filters with 13% zinc oxide n lesser percentage of titanium dioxide n an organic filter too. It didnt sting my eyes. When i finish my makeup with this cc cream, everything looks very nice even though the shade isnt a good match. You get 30g of product. I wish iherb stocks more of the shades. I didnt mind the slight creasing bcz i m happy that i finally got some tinted product with mineral filters that has a reasonable price. Overall good quality product. ok, let me start by introducing myself and saying a little about myself, I live in north central Florida near st.augustine and I'm 36 with dry skin. fine lines and wrinkles . I personally own over 100 high-end only foundations, skin tints, and everything in-between. I used to love the original it cosmetics foundation (I could only wear it by itself with no Primers or moisturizers due to it being so thick and having everything already in it when worn thatvway, it was really nice) the only thing I didn't like about it is that in the Florida heat and sweating, it would come off. My favorite light to medium coverage skincare based foundation is givenchy prism libre skincaring glow foundation (I've used an entire bottle and honestly couldn't put it down until it was completely gone), I found this it cosmetics glow skin tint and I gotta say this is very similar and I don't have to use as much to get the desired coverage, I have freckles and I like for them to shine thru but I want even skin as well and this does both. I also enjoy how it wears throughout the day, especially in the fl heat. I usually always have issues with my upper lip sweating and it always sweats off makeup right there, this one doesn't do that surprisingly. It's very lightweight, not thick and my skin really blends well with it. I got shade light and it's perfect. I enjoy using cream products like cream blush and bronzer and on top of this, it blends so well. I don't have acne or scaring but I do have fine lines and wrinkles and this doesn't settle into any of them and really seems to camouflage them in a way, making my skin look alot smoother and even. I don't think this would work for oily skin types due to the hydration. I actually don't even think this would work all that well for combo skintypes but if your a dry skin type gal like myself this will work wonders. I use the it cosmetics confidence in your skin moisturizer under it as well as my favorite tatcha silk canvas primer (the liquid version) and it's just a match made in heaven. I like this alot better than their original and I like it more than their other foundation that came in a glass bottle, one of their newer ones, I belive it was called your skin but better foundation? I would highly recommend that particular one for more oily and combo skin type people. It’s a great blend of sunblock, moisturizer, and foundation. I really enjoy how lightweight it’s on my skin. It’s also a pretty good moisturizer, and I noticed my skin was noticeably softer. As a sunblock and foundation hybrid, it does work well I didn’t need to reapply sunblock even while outdoors. Other foundations I wore in the same condition, ended up burning my skin. The Nude Glow looks fantastic on the skin, it has a very natural finish, without being too matte or dewy. My skin looks very smooth with this foundation. Nude Glow also has great coverage I want to especially praise the coverage because I am not a daily foundation user. I typically like to use foundation as a concealer. As a concealer, I was really impressed by Nude Glow. My eyebags get dark, like a dark grey. With most concealers/foundations it takes a handful of swipes of product, With the Nude Glow, with two swipes, it’s gone, it looks exactly like the foundation. I just need to do some minimal blending into the skin, and it looks natural and smooth. As for the coverage, it definitely leans more into full coverage than other medium coverage foundations. I applied about five dots of foundation to my cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. The majority of my skin looked fully covered with one swipe, but areas with darker pigmentation such as my eyebags needed two swipes to be fully covered. Lastly, the longevity is fantastic, it holds well for around 12 hours, even as someone who occasionally touches their face throughout the day. I love how it looks when applied correctly (very sparingly) & not applied over too many other products. Initially, I applied over well serum-ed, moisturized & primed skin, I felt like the product was literally sliding off of my face (this same sentiment confirmed by a Pilates gal pal). So I tried it next day after cleansing, toning & letting my serums (also applied sparingly) completely absorb. It was much better. Both days and every day since, I have gotten rave reviews on my "good skin" appearance. I purchased as a daily wear with a little lip gloss & mascara as to not look like a complete troll when I go to Pilates or to run errands (work from home). I do like the way it evens out my redness & does offer just enough coverage on a couple of dark spots & a scar as to not look "covered". I do not feel like it fully absorbs into the skin but that is helping me not touch my face as often during the day, i.e. to me it is a little more than dewy more like well moisturized skin. I used as foundation over the weekend and really liked the way it looked with an enhanced eye, like I just did my eyes & lips and left my skin natural. I am overhauling my skincare regimen which is also helping with the redness and overall condition of my skin so the product isn't having to work as hard. Do I think I will continue to use? Yes Why? Things I liked: – Good coverage – High SPF – Oil-free (good for sensitive and oily / combination skin) Things I did not like: In all other companies, BB / CC cream in the "Light" color has suited me. Here I bought "Light" and it was darker than "Medium" normally is. So then I bought "Fair" (which is the lightest color they have) and the product is still too dark. I have fairly light skin, but not so light that I have been outside the whole color scheme before. It's certainly not alabaster or anything. In addition, it is very thick and not so easy to apply. I first started applying it with a brush, which was recommended by the company. It did not go so well– streaky and difficult to blend out. Then I tried to use my fingers to put small dots of the product all over my face and use BeautyBlender to blend. That was a little bit better, but still takes a longer amount of time than other BB/CC creams I've used in the past.reinah
I have been using this set since last spring. I have never loved a 'makeup' more! A little bit goes a long way and it covers and finishes your skin so well! Bonus that it also moisturizes and has the sunscreen that we need every day. The shades are forgiving so don't stress too much over which one to pick. I've been wearing the neutral tan all summer but went a shade lighter to the neutral medium for fall and winter. You don't feel it on your skin; it is weightless. It doesn't rub off on your clothes (collar!). I truly can't say enough good things about it! I should also mention that the bye bye pores powder is just as wonderful. Light, airy and just refines the look and sets it for all day. Airbrush without the fuss – it won't fade or melt down even in the heat. This is the best foundation I have found. It is a perfect color match. I would say it’s light to medium coverage and can build to nearly full coverage. And , unlike the IT foundations that are not look free. I love how my skin feels while wearing this foundation. Silky, not dry and not oily. This foundation doesn’t transfer easily. Yet it washes off easily. I apply it with a foundation brush. I have applied it by the old fashioned fingertip method when my brush was still wet from cleaning it and it turned out quite nicely as well. (It does take a little more product that way, as with any foundation. And, a little goes a long way. So refreshing to have great coverage with minimal product. I have psoriasis on my forehead and it easily covers the redness. And, last but not least, my psoriasis flare of 2 years running is almost completely resolved. YAY! I was hesitant to buy the IT Cosmetics CC cream online out of fear of getting the wrong shade but the foundation finder tool on their site really helped. The shade I got matched perfectly. I also waited for a sale but the price tag is worth it. You use such a minimal amount of the product, a little goes a long way with your beauty blender. This provides such a natural looking coverage and is lightweight on your skin. I break out easily and this doesn’t clog my pores or feel greasy. It really evens out your skin. Grabbed this when it was on sale for $29! I can truly say that this is a great product, however I’m not sure if I’d ever spend more than $30 on this and considering it retails for $42… idk. I previously have only used low end bb/cc cream so this my first time with a higher end one. Not sure how to feel honestly because I’m not blown away but it is by no means a bad product. I LOVE the finish of it, its slightly glowy and sparkly. However its really thick and doesn’t feel hydrating. It gives a glow but it dries a bit so it feels matte with a wash of sparkle over it if that makes sense. Still gives a lovely finish I just wish it stayed dewy/hydrated. The reason why I rated this high is because of the amazing skincare benefits. I just figure that if I am wearing makeup I might as well have a high spf and anti aging properties! Also this product smells amazing upon application, like oranges, but at the end of the day when I took it off with a makeup wipe it smelled spoiled. Also the shade fair is described as having a yellow undertone, however it pulls very neutral/grey. Was very disappointed since I have a yellow undertone and was hoping it would be accurate however it does thankfully blend out well enough to match my skin. Theres just so much good about this product but the few bad things prevent me from giving it a full 5. I have been looking for a tinted moisturiser/BB cream or CC cream to replace the BB cream i already use. I have used lots of foundation over the years, estee lauder, clarins, dior, bare minerals, and even the cheaper brands. All foundations clogged my open pores! For me BB cream is a better solution. I have been using Clarins BB detox fluid, but the colours are orange and the SPF is only 25. I have been on the fence about IT cosmetics for a little while. I have oily skin, open pores, and I am coming up for 30 so the lines are beginning to appear. I am so pleased I went into store to try this. I wanted the Matt but quickly realised the formula wasn't right for me. So I chose the original and I am not disappointed. Yes I still have to blot mid day. ( but I always have ) it is not full coverage, I can still see my freckles which I like. My advice is, if you want full coverage, buy a foundation! Not a CC cream. I apply with a beauty blender and my skin looks great, after 7 hours it was wearing but still looked good! I bought this the other day, and I will admit that I have only tried it once. It took me ages to find a foundation that did not irritate the sensitive parts of my skin and old acne scars from becoming inflamed. I was also looking for a product that covered my rosacea and after applying one coat of this CC Cream, it blended into my skin tone perfectly and covered the redness without the ''full coverage'' look. Upfront I'm going to state I'm a massive fan of La Roche Posay, I use lots of products and have never been less than satisfied until now. This product is so bad I don't know where to start. First it's made for sensitive redness prone skin, and the texture of this requires a lot of rubbing and blending to attempt to counteract the intensely orange hue. Yes I mean orange. Not just a bit peachy, actually orange. To be fair it does dry down a bit and adjust slightly but it's still at least five shades darker than my skin. Now I have other tinted products from LRP included the tinted sunscreen, duo + Teint, the BB blur and the foundation and all of these in fair or light are just about perfect, the BB blur is probably just on the edge of acceptable colour wise but it is still acceptable. Did I mention this one is thick and sticky? No? Well it is and if like me your redness is angered by lots of facial contact please keep this in mind. For reference I'm very fair, not alabaster but definitely on the pink porcelain side, but I can take a slight peachy hue quite easily, even a wee bit of a yellow base, but this is ridiculous. If you have a medium skin tone with redness this might work for you, but it isn't for the pale and interesting. One other point, this product would be nowhere near moisturising enough for me to use alone, I'd need a moisturiser underneath (I have thirsty skin) I'm a cicaplast Baume B5 fan myself so I even tried mixing it with that but even mixing two thirds baume to one third CC couldn't turn this pumpkin into a goer. All levity aside I'm actually disappointed in La Roche Posay for such a poor product, take it from me if this is your first purchase it's not reflective of the brand.Moistureseeker
I think it's not worth its price. I would not reccomend this for oily skin, as I found it very hydrating and was slightly oily at the end of the day on my normal skin .I've been using Supercity Block tinted SPF as makeup for quite a while. Although it's tinted, it doesn't color correct or offer any 'real' coverage, just a blurring effect. I think the tint is mostly to offset white cast from SPF. I picked up this LRP CC cream just to give it a try. It's somewhat orange toned. This won't work for everyone. I can totally see why ppl say it's patchy or streaky to apply.it needs to be blended. It's fragranced, which doesn't like me. While it wasn't offensive or terribly strong, I found it to still be overwhelming on my face. It clings to dry patches. Overall, I find the formula dryer than I'm accustomed to. For normal to dry skin, this may not be optimum. To make it easier to spread, I'll mix it with either a few drops of Argan oil, or a little bit of Supercity, or a little bit of the transparent Hylamide photography fluid. I apply with fingers. And I always apply on freshly oiled skin. The finish is matte and natural-looking, even on my freshly oiled skin. For me, since this product is doing double duty as daily SPF and foundation, the price is worth it.mancho.e

I tired this product after watching some YouTubers & reading many reviews. I usually don't get excited over CC creams, however, this is so beautiful! I use after my daily skincare routine, then I apply the Chanel CC cream and my skin is transformed into something so pretty! I dab a little powder over my T-zone and a tiny dab of blush, some mascara and I'm done! I will buy this forever! I was using EltaMD sunscreen for face, but, compared to this CC cream, I MUCH prefer the Chanel CC cream. I guess the Elta MD will be used on my décolletage and hands. I wanted to love this product, but the consistency is so thick that it accentuates all my pores, texture and peach fuzz. It also takes a while to “settle” or set into my skin (which it never fully did), akin to a foundation, except this isn’t a foundation, it’s supposed to be a one and done “no makeup makeup” day SPF with a nice tint and skincare ingredients. It is thicker than my Lumière Velvet foundation from Chanel (which also needs special brushes so it doesn’t accentuate pores etc) and takes longer to set. It also caked up around my nose and got all in my eyebrows that I had to clean up. Total mess. And when I say it took a long time to set, it looked way better 1 hour after initial application to look like it had finally absorbed into my skin. One hour! That said, it looked phenomenal in my zoom meeting- my skin looked flawless. I’m honestly 50/50 on retuning. If I wasn’t “on camera” for work I would definitely return it bc it’s just way too much work for a product that should be easy to use and I never liked the finish, even after fussing with multiple brushes to blend it out. It just is a dud product in real life. There are so many tinted sunscreens (thinking of Colorscience faceshield spf 50 PA ++++ with green tea extracts ) that literally melt into my face on contact- but I so wanted to try this product and again, on zoom it really shines. OMG IM IN LOVE! My mother gifted this to me and I have fallen in love!! This CC cream has everything you could ask for in a product. It has high coverage and is almost foundation like! Very buildable and I use just a pea sized amount for a natural look. This product blurs all imperfections and makes your skin look like silk! This product is fantastic! I purchased the warm/light color, and it doesn't seem to break me out (which is incredible considering how many times I've accidentally slept with it on), it applies smoothly, and is very comfortable. The "medium coverage" claim is a bit misleading though. I'm going to be honest, I can barely tell if it's doing anything. I think there might be some slight blurring, and while it can be built up, I don't recommend more than two layers since the product is a bit thick and creamy. If your skin looks great, this product will look beautiful. However, if you're expecting anything more than light coverage, I can't recommend this.Vivi
Love this CC cream! I have rosacea and it's very hard to find makeup options that provide enough coverage to hide my flare ups, but that also feel good on my skin and don't include ingredients that further aggravate the inflammation. This manages to do all three! It feels super light and silky on my skin, with a pretty natural look, but also provides better coverage than I initially expected. It also smells lovely (very light and fresh with a very natural coconut smell). I'm grateful to have found it!JenM
I have used this cc crème for years. It provides a lightweight coverage that is perfect for minimal foundation. It is also one of few spf products that doesn’t seem to cause breakouts. My only issue with this product is that the last year or two the product breaks down. After very vigorous shaking…it still seems to separate. If not shaken well it can be an oily, tinted mess. I emailed Pacifica about this and because I purchased at a retail store and not online they couldn’t do anything about it. Thought maybe a formula change or something? The last two bottles I purchased directly from Pacifica- same issue. I still use it and have kept the product because when you get the right consistency it is worth it especially with the spf. It just takes a lot of shaking and sometimes days working through wasting some of the product just to get there. I probably will try other products to see if I can find something better due to the issue. But, until then I will use.bms320

I have recently found Marcelle products through Birchbox and I love them. This CC cream looks so natural on my face and gives me a great glow. I always reach for this when I am exercising outside because it has spf so therefore I don’t have to layer a ton of products on my face that most likely will make me sweat more. It has a light coverage and sits well on my skin and the bottle lasts me a long time! This will continue to be a staple for me!
This is truly my favourite face product. I go through so many different brands of foundations and this one is definitely in my top 3 with Mac face and body and Fenty illuminating foundation. It goes on smooth and so velvety and just makes the skin look healthy, even and radiant. The only thing I don’t like it’s that it’s so thick so you go through the product quicker but it’s a beauty that I go back to time and time again!lauren.s
I LOVE MARCELLE! I have a bunch of their products and, with the exception of 1 mascara, I have been over-the-moon THRILLED with the Marcelle product line. I received this CC Cream in my Birchbox late last fall, but set it aside. I tend to wear heavier foundations in the fall/winter and BB/CC creams in summer. Previously I was using the IT Cosmetics CC Cream but set it aside a week ago to use this product. The two brands are sort of similar in price. IT is $38/1.08 oz (or $35.19/oz). Marcelle is $33/1.1 oz (or $30/oz). While Marcelle is cheaper, it's only available online. Once taxes and shipping are added, the two become almost exactly the same price point. Which brings us to performance. Both claim to be full coverage, but I feel that they are both actually buildable medium coverage. Both survived early morning workouts at the gym as well as late afternoon naps without needing touch-ups. For packaging, I have to give it to Marcelle. Their plastic bottle seems a little more sturdy than IT's plastic tube. I also admire the package art on Marcelle. The bold font and gold lettering truly catch the eye. I have no intention of getting rid of either product. They are both excellent CC creams and variety is the spice of life. But I have to give Marcelle a major part in the back for shining even when placed side by side with one of the largest cosmetics companies in the world. I love Farmasi CC foundation. It covers all your imperfections and discoloration. It is full coverage and once you use the CC primer in green or purple you don't have to worry about your skin tone showing through. If you will continue to use this this product you will notice that your skin gets better without even using the skincare products bc all Farmasi products are vegan friendly cruelty free, no animal ingredients or testing EVER and they go by european standards which means there are over 1300 toxins banned from usage unlike american standards which are only about a dozen. This CC cream is super light weight and full coverage. I have really red splotches on my face and this makes a huge difference. It's a semi matte formula which I need due to oily skin. I use the shade #2 light to medium. Sometimes I wear it with foundation on top, but if I'm in a rush to get ready or just don't wanna do a full face I use this to cover the redness in my face. Finding foundations/CC creams that match has always been a daunting task for me. I've found that MOST foundations are either too dark and ashy or orange-y, I'm a brown girl, who needs a tiny bit of pink, in my foundation formula. I generally had to buy two different shades to mix and match my oddball complexion. I am a mix of African, Asian and Native American (Cahuilla). This CC cream in shade: Deep tan is my exact match, AND it's made with natural, healthy, healing ingredients. Oh, and one more positive, it's a lightweight cream that does NOT make my very oily skin any oilier. I've read the comments of other users lamenting about this CC cream causing skin dryness, but for me, this lighter texture is PERFECT. This is amazing stuff. I don't like a cakey makeup, but I also don't like sheer. I stay away from liquids because my face will get shiny after just a few hours – regardless of the setting powder. THIS however, regardless of the powders does not get cakey or shiny. It is just right. The coverage is perfect. No crinkles or setting into lines. I am a light in winter and light to medium in summer. I initially tried it as a sample from an Ipsy box and fell in love with the texture, the benefits and how long it wore. My skin is usually dry at first and then oily the rest of the day and this cc cream kept up. Comes off easily with cleanser and isn't super transfer proof…nonetheless it's a keeper. Nice natural look without cakiness, no streaking, no settling into lines or pores.Betsy
Purchased after reading reviews. I was looking for an all-around do it all for daily use. I regularly use mineral powder foundation but at 45 I need better correction and coverage. This was very thick pumping out. Once applied it was difficult to spread across my face using finger tips. Used a wet sponge to spread and blend but it took effort. It is now a few hours after application and it has settled into my pores quite noticeably. I applied to a clean face with only a moisturizer so not sure about this product. I read all of the reviews and have to agree with those with a rating of 1. I too had been using the old Glossimer product for 15 years, and bought several shades at a time. I wear little else in the way of makeup, and Chanel Glossimer was the perfect finish for me, whether I was going to a morning Pilates class or a formal evening event. I have tried the new product for a few months, and will now begin my search for something new. There are a couple of things I dont understand 1 Why was the entire old stock completely removed from stores and websites when the new was introduced I immediately searched everywhere to purchase a reserve of my colors. The only place they were available was Ebay. 2 Why are the replacements so lacking in pigment and shade variety When applied, it may be shiny, but every color looks exactly the same as the one before. The old Glossimer color choices were outstanding and varied and actually showed up on the lips. Im 68 years old and actually thought Id make it to the end of life with my favorite lip gloss, and that Chanel would never cancel a sure thing. It seems the highest review rating are from those who are trying your product for the first time and never had the privilege of experiencing the old Glossimer. And to add insult to injury, youre now using the word Glossimer in your latest descriptions of this product, which is deceptive, as this product is a poor imitation of the old.Anonymous
I bought the moisture surge sheer hydrator tinted in medium. I wanted a touch more coverage so I bought this in the same shade. It's a bit lighter than the other medium but I use it over one of several Clinique moisturizers and by the time I get some blush on and a bit of powder it looks quite good. Guess for my current tan, I could've gotten the next shade but I've received compliments on my 61 year old face and that makes it all worthwhile! Will continue to purchase this and maybe the light/medium as my tan fades back to my normal moderately fair skin for the Fall and Winter. Also interested in trying the BB cream as I'm not a big liquid foundation person.jdinroch
I bought this along with a few others very recently and I am so impressed. I normally wear foundation shade ivory from clinique and bought the shade light. I'm glad I didn't buy light medium as it would have been too dark. I'd say I was more warm olive skin than fair skin. I bought this for the spf factor and lightweight coverage. I still wear an spf underneath as well as a moisturiser because I have dry skin. Doesn't cling to dry patches, doesn't transfer, doesn't slip and shine in a couple of hours. And even my husband (who is a stereotypical bloke) commented and complimented my skin whilst wearing this.Catherine29
