I never write reviews, but I needed to let all the people contemplating purchasing this to BUY IT!! This product is definitely not a one size fits all! It claims to be exfoliating with antioxidant benefits to help smooth rough skin. It contains salicylic acid, an exfoliant that aids in helping clear acne. It has zero fragrance, especially helpful for those who have sensitive skin. It also claims to be gentle on the skin which I can definitely disagree with. After using this cleanser, i’ve noticed my skin is very dry and feels tight, I RUN to my moisturizer when I am done with this product. My advice would definitely be to let your skin get used to the cleanser. I would advise using 2-3 a week and using a hydrating cleanser in between washes, letting your skin accumulate to the wash. I have extremely acne prone skin and I have noticed the redness of my acne has gone down a bit but I haven’t used it long enough to see if it does anything to help with calming down how much I break out. This cleanser has been a godsend for my dry, combination skin. I have areas of flakey dry spots then areas of more buildup and blackheads around my nose and chin, and neck. It’s gentle enough to use 3 times a day or as much as you wash your face and I wash mine a lot. What I love about Paula Begoun's skincare range is firstly: the transparency. An explanation is given for each ingredient so you know exactly what you're putting onto/into your skin. Secondly there's ample opportunity to trial the products via a sample size on the website. Not to mention a good returns policy. The 2% BHA lotion was one of the products that I invested in full size (along with a bunch of samples) and funnily enough was my least favorite out of everything I ordered. It's not that it broke me out or disagreed with me in any way, it just didn't do much for me. Even after the first 3 weeks of usage, gradually built up to twice daily applications, my skin still looked exactly the same as before I started using it. Pores, blemishes, oiliness, you name it…zero difference! It's unfortunate, as I skipped the option of a sample pack, thinking it wouldn't be enough product to give it a fair try. I was somehow convinced this 1 bottle would be the answer to all my skincare woes (not entirely sure what lead me to believe that!). The good: it wasn't harsh on my skin like many BHA products can be, and the application was well controlled, never too much or too little. I don't normally post reviews, but when I see something actually make improvements to my skin I've gotta share my experience because I know there's so much BS in products these days. But Paulas Choice 2% for the win! I got a small sample bottle for $10. I read the reviews and was a little nervous to do it everyday because of what people were saying…but that wasn't my experience. I used it everyday, morning & night. I shook the bottle 3 times into my hand and smoothed it over my entire face. I was using the cotton pads at first, and just doing on the areas that needed it but then I ran out of the pads so I put it in my hands and honestly, it worked way better when I was just using my hands to spread it because it seemed to soak into my face better. I saw people say that their face would get irritated by using it everyday and the way to use it correctly and see results was to use it once a week… so I just wanted to see how my face would react the next day but nothing felt bad and I decided to do it again in the morning. I loved how it felt on my skin, and I only had 1 flare up and that was a week later May 26-27th (Photos Included) The pimple went away quickly and I still decided to put the product on my face Night & Day. I saw people say it isn't good for sun exposure so not to use it during the day, but I am staying home at the moment so I don't go outside as often, maybe 20 mins a day. So I took that caution with a grain of salt. If you go outside more, maybe you should listen to that warning lol. I am not a product expert of how to use it correctly, all I know is I used it night and day and the hyperpigmentation/dark spots on my forehead have really toned down and my skin looks a lot more smooth/brighter which I love. I always feel like I'm glowing and it feels spa like when I put it on, it's got a nice relaxing smell and a nice soothing texture to it that isn't too oily. This is my tried and true holy grail exfoliator. No matter what I try, I always come back to this one. I have emptied soooo many bottles of this. I have very sensitive, combination (super dry/normal in the winter & oily/normal in the summer but I can still use this product all year around despite my skin type) and acne prone skin. I have to say that I hated this product the very first time I tried it–it stung my skin. It was to the point where I ran into the bathroom to wash it off my face after just a few mins of applying it. I really tried to like the product but the sting was too painful and the SMELL of this is absolutely atrocious. The product smells like acetone to me and I probably gagged in about 20 different languages when I put it on my face for the first time (although I would rather it smell disgusting than have them add a ton fragrance to the product. My skin doesn't do will with heavy fragrances). I left this on my vanity for a few months before I picked it up again–I just didn't want to waste my money. Someone told me to dilute the product with water on a cotton pad–I tried it and it didn't sting my face nearly as bad but still some intense tingling going on. But the next morning, I noticed how soft and rejuvenated my skin looked and felt. I continued to use it once a week and I fell in love with the product and slowly stopped diluting it as much as my skin got used to it. After 4-5 years of using this religiously 2-3 times a week, I still feel tingling on my skin when I use it but I've gotten use to the feeling and the horrible smell because the results are worth it. Due to my sensitive skin, I absolutely can NOT use this product more than 2-3 times a week. This product is wonderful. It takes me about a little less than a year.Vic

I have been using this product for a week now and my skin has never been better. I use this product with their vitamin c serum and hyaluronic acid moisturizer. The results are amazing. This products has really helped me in clearing up my skin! I suffer from congested oily skin; I have a lot of blackheads, enlarged pores, and stubborn whiteheads. I literally have tried everything to help my skin but after 6 years I have found the right product for me. However, if you have never tried any BHA products on your skin try to introduce it slowly. This does make my face red when I apply it and can sting just a bit. Nevertheless, it goes down in a second and my skin starts to glow.
My skin was breaking out in painful cystic acne and my usual remedies were not doing my skin justice. I’m basically a skin Medica addict. Anything they have a pretty much love. This face wash was literally my go to for the past few years. I love everything about it I love the scrubs all the yuck, I love that foams I love that has little to no scent. I love how giant the package is, more bang for your buck! I was on my third or fourth tube of this and washed my face like any other night. Felt like I had gotten a tiny eyelash in my eye but couldn’t find it. Went to bed that night still irritated. The entire next day my eye started swelling and running, and hurting so bad! The following day I was able to get into my primary care who then referred me to an eye doctor. That afternoon I saw my eye doctor, day three of this pain! The eye doctor flipped my eyelid, looked with a microscope and pulled out a microbead that came from this face wash! Supposedly it’s a plastic micro bed that was outlawed in the state of California. Haven’t fact checked this but he seemed pretty concerned. He said that it was the second time in 33 years of practice that he had seen something like this. Great face wash if you want to live on the wild side and take your chances! I had a facial and this was used on my skin. It smelled and felt great but I couldn't be certain if it was the facial itself or the product that made me skin so happy. After my next facial, I picked this up hoping it would give me the same results on my own. The price is a bit higher than I would like to spend on something I'm not certain works for me over the long run – but so happy I got it. The exfoliant is fine and not something that is going to scratch or cause abrasions with daily use. The scent is very light but fresh and doesn't cause any irritation for my sensitive skin. sounds kind of weird but this product uses smashed wood pulp which is biodegradable obviously as the gentle manual exfoliant. I am not a fan of manual excellence for the most part because people tend to over script their skin which leads to loss plasticity and capillary issues as well as aggravating acne. That said this is gentle enough with a chemical exfoliant added as well that I really enjoy this product. The fragrance is amazing that in my clients buy it nonstop and love it. Good price point too. Skin type: In between oily and normal (naturally), normal when consistently using retionid gels (Tretinoin gel, Adapalene gel) My brown skin is prone to dyspigmentation from inflammation, acne, injury and sunlight exposure. It’s not prone to hyperpigmentation from products tho (except in very rare cases) It also sometimes gets duller looking than usual in the winter. This stuff is a dream. Greatest ADJUNCTIVE OTC product I’ve ever used for lightening darkened skin, instantly giving me a brighter complexion, making my warm/golden undertones pop (more vivid color) and maintaining the flawless even tone I was chasing. Using this all over my face along with hydroquinone (2%-4%) cream as a spot treatment this will quickly fade the darkened spots/sections. If you use other chemical (acid, enzyme) exfoliants and/or strong retinoids (tret, taz, adapalene) you’ll probably get velvety skin that’s smoother and softer the touch. It also gets more supple and bouncy even though I’m still in my 20s and thus have a lot of bounce & smoothness to my skin already. I have been using a stabilized, ph <3, properly packaged ascorbic acid serum for years. It’s my holy grail for brightening but since my skin is resilient I can put it on after using this. These two products are the DREAM TEAM for giving my face the radiance I’ve always wanted I use this on my face for up to 20 minutes (my own dermatologist said this was fine for me considering how my skin reacts to stronger in office chemical peels) and for 7-10 minutes on my neck. When I go over the ten minute recommendation & use it for 15+ minutes on my face I get enhanced results. No irritation, no adverse effects, instant gratification and long term gratification. So I'm 34 and have had adult acne for 10 years. A few months ago I finally discovered my perfect routine and I thought I'd share it with anyone who might resonate. I realized I can't layer products and my skin needs more simplicity. That's when everything cleared. It involves some OT products one of them being this amazing AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peel but some are not. Here it is: PM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne prone skin/scars : 1)Wash face with CeraVe Foaming Cleanser (rinse off with warm water and washcloth) 2)Wipe off any remaining makeup with a cotton pad + Bioderma Sensibio micellar water . It helps prevent damage by harsh tap water. 3)Moisturise with The Ordinary pure Rosehip oil. *3 times a week (instead of Rosehip Oil ) use The Ordinary Mandelic Acid+HA (Moisturises while gently exfoliating over time). Once every 2 weeks: The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling mask for 10mins. AM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin/scars 1) Wrap an Ice cube in thin cloth (like gauze) and massage your face with it for 1 min (then towel dry) 2) Wipe face with Bioderma Sensibio micellar water + a cotton pad 2) Five mins Face lifting massage with The Ordinary Rosehip oil. If you don’t want to leave the oil on afterwards, pad the face dry with a cotton pad. Face massages help blood circulation, which heals acne, scars and reduces wrinkles. *Twice a week: Yoghurt mask (the fat hydrates deeply, the lactic acid in yoghurt brightens scars). I ordered my second bottle of this mask back in May, and just finished the bottle now. I've been using this as a weekly exfoliating mask, but it is not my favorite one I have ever used. It is at a pretty good price point – and I first bought this as a way to start exfoliating at home instead of just when I had the time for a facial (it was recommended to me by a friend with similar skin: sensitive, with rosacea). After finishing my first bottle; I then tried the Sunday Riley good genes (used as a rinse off 10-min mask) and PTR pumpkin enzyme exfoliating mask. I then bought this again to compare and contrast. As far as price; it is obviously the cheapest and a great option for someone on a budget. As far as how well it works; I first got this because at the time I had just cleared up a few months worth of hormonal acne (I am not acne prone, this was my first bout with acne and I did not know how to care for it, so I was left with quite a bit of PIH). I read about how the use of exfoliating can be helpful for healing PIH. In all honesty, out of the three exfoliant masks I've used, this has faded my acne scars the most – but – it triggers my rosacea – whereas the SR and PTR I could use on my whole face without causing my rosacea to go nuts. So, I started only using this on my chin and jaw, but it would still manage to affect the rosacea patches on my cheeks and part of my neck. Since I have faded my acne scars to the point that I want to stop using an 'intense' mask 1-2x's a week, I don't have plans to purchase this again – as it did what I needed it to do. If you want to fade acne scars- I definitely recommend this product (but definitely include the use of sunscreen in the morning) but – if you have rosacea, be wary because every time I used it – I had a reaction. (I just purchased GR watermelon overnight mask with AHA's to see how that will help with fading remaining bits of PIH without triggering my rosacea)hasmm

This exfoliant helps me fight against milia. Moreover, it helps clear pores, smooth fine wrinkles, and improve skin tone. I apply it at night and wash my face in the morning. The scent is not very pleasant, but it fades away after a while. I would suggest applying it 30m before going to bed so your pillowcase won't get dirty. It doesn't irritate my skin nor dries it out. Ok. So I had two really bad scars from my belly button piercing that I took out many years ago. I'm 2017 I got scar removal surgery and it did nothing basically besides make my it a tiny bit less noticeable. Last year I spent over $1,000 on fraxel laser to remove it.. once again this helped the appearance slightly. However my scars were still dark and noticeable. I tried every scar removal gel and even one from a surgeons office, but nothing really helped. I finally decided to purchase this not thinking it would do anything. Glow Baby Liquid Exfoliant has an interesting flip top with a dispenser that you push down onto a cotton pad. It helps to prevent spills, and since the liquid comes out slowly, I didn't over wet my cotton pads. I love that it comes in a big glass bottle that will last me a long time. After using the liquid exfoliant for two weeks, my skin feels softer and smoother. My moisturizer and serums go on easily leaving the right amount of shine. I absolutely love this exfoliater, however I wouldn't replace my current one with it. But, I do add this as an addition to it. This doesn't feel like an exfoliant, more of a serum. I love the feeling that it leaves on my skin. I have dry skin and this just seems to absorb right in and feels incredible! It smooths my skin right out. I use my regular exfoliater, then use this after as a toner/serum and it works amazing!!! It's also fragrance free which I prefer with my skin care. This kept my skin hydrated and dewy. Neutrogena Skin Perfecting Daily Liquid Exfolient for Dry Skin is the bees knees! Lol. I have pretty dry skin especially after getting out the shower and this exfolient is perfect for my thirsty skin. It leaves it feeling soft and plump. It has a nice faint smell that's not overpowering. It doesn't leave my face feeling greasy or dirty. It's overall a great product. I would recommend buying if you have dry skin. This exfoliant is to die for! My skin is EXTREMELY dry, and it always feels tight after doing any sort of treatment or cleansing. I used an AHA face wash, and applied the Neutrogena Exfoliant on afterwards with a cotton pad, similar to a toner. It did sting a little, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. My skin was red afterward, but it didn’t last long. I applied this before bed, and the next morning I had a few errands to run and I’ve never been complimented on my “glowing” skin more! Even my mom was like “what are you doing?” I was shocked. That was one day after using the product! The packaging is so sleek and luxurious looking, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space, and isn’t awkward to use so I fell in love with every aspect of it! This review is on sensitive, acne prone skin. Gifted by Paula’s Choice. I’m quite surprised by this product. I had heard it wasn’t as strong as comparable products, but that appealed to my skin type. I ultimately agree, but it’s still strong to me! The texture is very pleasing – it has a nice creaminess to it in a lovely purple color (from the butterfly pea). The smell is different, but not offensive to my nose; I prefer unscented products anyway. I do experience some stinging while this is on my skin, and I look red immediately after (sensitive skin problems). But this is a consistent thing for me with AHAs. It’s actually nice to find a stronger peel that I can still tolerate. As for results, I had a bit of discoloration on my chin prior to using this. While I didn’t see much in terms of immediate results, the discoloration had disappeared only a week later! The only catch for me is that my skin does seem a bit more red than prior to this peel, and I know the importance of being exceedingly diligent with sunscreen with AHA usage (every 2 hours!) This is such a unique product. When I opened the packaging and squeezed the product I notice the most beautiful colored product. The product is a pearly blue purple that almost looks like it has shimmer. Each time I used the product I applied it to clean skin and let it sit for 10 minutes. When rinsed off I was pleased. Wow, this product made my skin look much smoother and noticeably brighter, which I love. I also noticed the pores on my cheeks looked much smaller. I’ move been using this product for almost a year now, and it’s one of my favorite skin care products on the market. Typically, my skin is labeled as sensitive, which is seen as a no-go for using this product, but I gave it a chance and have absolutely loved it. If your skin is like mine, I highly recommend this product. I have picky skin – it’s not necessarily acne prone, but I do get hormonal acne. I have a sensitivity to fragrances, but not all fragrances such as vanilla or camamille. I also have eczema, mainly on my hands, that reacts badly to frequent hand washing, a lot of different lotions, and when I eat a lot of sugar or spicy food. My facial skin will also have an eczema like reaction to similar situations. Even “sensitive skin” lotions or moisturizes make my skin break out in eczema. I think the glycolic acid works will with my skin, mostly because it’s a humectant. It draws moisture in and locks it’s in. I don’t even have to use a daily moisturizer on top of the toner because my skin is so moisturized after using the product, Secondarily, I think this product works because of the exfoliant/antibacterial aspect of the formula. For the same reason that glycolic acid works as a deodorant, this product helps reduce bad bacteria from my skin and clears oils and bacteria buildup. My skin becomes less textured, my pores become less visible, my skin is moisturized, and scarring is less noticeable. This product will forever be in my rotation. + I also use it as a deodorant, and can confirm 100% that it works. I’ve been out dancing and drinking and asked around to see if there was any noticeable odor, and the feedback was all that they couldn’t smell anything! And my armpits are not as gray as they used to be. I highly recommend using this product in place of an antiperspirant. +Betty69
I am reviewing this for use on KP also known as chicken skin on my arms and legs. I also took before and after pictures to compare. I am also in my mid 30s and am rarely outside for reference. I tested this on my arm for 1 week without using lotion or any other products on my skin (except for soap obviously). Within a day or two I was already seeing skin redness fading and my skin looked less rough. The roughness was obviously helped because it's an acid. 7 days in I started applying lotion as well. I used Cerave lotion formulated for rough and KP skin. My final results are that this acid is absolutely a wonderful product for KP and used along with lotion and body oils could absolutely decrease KP by a lot. It is a great price for a product that can really help your skin be smoother, less red, and softer. My KP actually shifted from just on my upper arms and thighs to my forearms and calves a few years ago and no amount of lotion of exfoliation has helped my skin be smoother. With this acid, I feel like I recognize my own arm again! Redness is cut down to a third of what it was! Roughness is half of what it was! And this is after only a week of daily use! I will definitely by using this daily and buying more. As a warning, I did notice that you have to take the warning about being out in the sun seriously. On day 3 I was outside for about 15 minutes and that night when I applied the acid, my skin turned bright red and tingled quite a bit.Ali
I saw clear changes after just 2 weeks of use. The toner visibly reduced hyperpigmentation I have on my body and smoothed texture. Literally after 2 weeks of use, I saw some hyperpigmentation marks disappear completely and this one big elevated scar is now level with the rest of my skin in that area. I patch tested it twice before starting to use it. I only use the toner twice a week (and not on consecutive days). I also noticed that applying a physical exfoliant while showering (which I already do) speeds up the lightening/fading (of course I do not apply a physical exfoliant on broken skin/open scars). The toner is sticky upon application and can take a while (15-30min) to dry/absorb into the skin. Once it does absorb into the skin, the skin is left with a beautiful glow, which resembles a body highlighter without the visible glitter particles/sparkles. Do not use anywhere near broken skin/open scars/open wounds/acne. The toner smells like ginseng and berries (makes sense as ginseng and Tasmanian pepperberry are among the ingredients) for an hour or so before fading. It's a beautiful smell and I would love to check out perfumes that smell like the toner. Unfortunately, after using it for more than 4 months, I've noticed that the toner's effectiveness at lightening hyperpigmentation is decreasing. This decrease in effectiveness could be due to my skin growing insensitive/accustomed to the product and/or due to the intensity of my hyperpigmentation (very dark and been there for a while). This is a freaking amazing product. I got this being like, yeah it would be nice to add a toner to my routine, and now I use this stuff for everything. For face: yes, it’s like a toner you splash on (you don’t use a cotton ball), and you feel a moment of acidic tingling so you know it’s working, and it lightly exfoliates through the night. I have wicked sensitive skin (borderline rosacea and broken capillaries at the slightest stress), and this ends up being vastly more gentle on my skin than a washcloth. My skin tone (redness and hyperpigmentation) is slowly improving, and I have a nice dewy glow. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE…I learned that this is amazing for ingrown hairs on my legs, too! After I got pregnant I started getting ingrown hairs on my legs. Who knows why but it was super annoying. Acid potion cleared it all up and has prevented new ones from forming when I splash this on daily before lotion. So wow, big problem solved! You can splash this wherever to balance the pH of your skin and exfoliate. I think it’s even helping my c-section scar. So it’s basically 7 products in one, and I plan on using Acid Potion forever. This is something you may not even know you need, but you do! One thing to note: if you don’t use moisturizer after, it winds up feeling slightly sticky (like as if you swam in seawater). Loving this so far. I've used P50 in the past and was looking to reincorporate an acid toner into my routine but wanted something with cleaner ingredients. I regularly use a gentle acid based cleaner and do periodic glycolic peels, so my skin is used to acids. This was super gentle, no redness, no irritation, but I could tell it was exfoliating. Ok so this stuff is the tits. I have combo skin with adult acne (which is really just loitering teenage acne, and before that was prepubescent acne). I also have mild Perioral Dermatitis that I treat with an RX. On top of all this I’m a compulsive face picker any time I’m confronted with access to a magnifying mirror. All this to say- I don’t have naturally glowing, clear, porcelain or even marginally smooth skin. And it’s not like this acid potion magically made my skin any of those things- but what it DID do was make it a hell of a lot smoother. And brighter. And I suspect has helped deflate the occasional, budding “under the skin” biggo zits (if you know, you know). I use it every night, after witch hazel, before moisturizer, carefully avoiding my eyes and anywhere I’m having a dermatitis breakout. The morning after my skin feels wildly more smooth. It even helped manage my period acne, which is usually a wonderful merging of both cystic and widespread red acne. It’s pricey, but a little goes a long way. I’m hoping the company is here to stay because yes, I will absolutely purchase again once I run out. Oh and p.s. if any of you out there are also face pickers (if you know the joy of spending too long extracting black heads and pores too small for anyone else to notice) just know that after you’ve picked and popped, if you apply this stuff it’ll burn something crazy. I'm a big fan of chemical peels and have tried quite a few at home at this one is legit. I could feel it working right away and the next morning, my skin looked brighter and tighter. I've only used it 3 times so far, but I truly believe after a month's use, you would see drastic results. Even this morning my husband made a comment about my skin and that's not something he usually notices. A few caveats, if you have never used a chemical peel, start slowly. I would only keep this product on for about 5 minutes the first time to acclimate your skin. And DO NOT use on consecutive days. These products are meant to only be use at most 3xs a week or you can burn your skin. And this is considered an exfoliant so avoid physical scrubs if you plan to use this peel. My one dislike was the smell. Since Covid, I have had a strong aversion to astringents and the smell whacked me in the face when I first applied the product. It dissipated quickly but it was not a pleasant surprise. Overall, this is definitely a product I could see me continue using in the future.Ni C.
The sample size I received of this was a tiny little packet so I can't give a thorough review… I only had enough product to try it once. I'm not sure if I would re-purchase this on my own but it does seem pretty powerful! It tingled a little, I actually couldn't wait to wash it off but sometimes that discomfort makes me feel like it's working so I tolerate it. Immediately upon washing it off my face looked tight and shiny in a good way. It definitely felt like it cleaned out my pores and if I continued to use it throughout the week I'm sure it would've done an even better job. It didn't really help with blackheads, but again, maybe with more use it would knock those out too. My only complaint is that by the morning my skin really didn't look any different. The best result was at night time immediately upon washing so maybe it's better to use in the morning? Oh also I use a face tanning serum and felt like the peel counteracted it and didn't allow me to get an color developed, even the next day. I recently received a bottle of Glytone Peel Gel from BzzAgent to try out and it's very impressive. I've lived in Texas for a big part of my life and now have sun damage. I have tried other peels that were more expensive, but this works better. This is simple to use. After cleansing your face and drying it, you use a cotton pad to apply it over your face. There's no mess because the product has a dropper. You leave it on for 10 minutes and then remove it with a damp cloth. It feels a little tingly at first, but not bad. You use this three times a week. I notice a huge difference. My skin is softer and smoother, my pores are tighter, and the sunspots are lighter. I also have a bit of a glow to my complexion now. So I didn't use this treatment every night. I ended up making it an every-other-night or every-two-nights routine. It's very smooth and easy to rub into your skin. It says it takes 8 weeks to see results (brighter skin, reduced signs of aging), and since I haven't had this product for 2 months yet, I can't say that I notice any difference in my skin. Any time I see that a product contains acid (this one has hyaluronic and glycolic acids), I get a little nervous as to how my sensitive skin will react. I absolutely love this brand and the products. The toner is very moisturizing and my skin feels very clean after I wash with a cleaner. I love that includes hydraulic acid and niacinamide. I feel like I'm getting more bang for my buck. The nightly exfoliating treatment also has a great ingredient list. I love that it is stay-on product. It does not start my skin and my skin does not feel dry in the morning. Lastly, the make up wipes are my absolutely favorite. They are so moisturizing, unlike many make up wipes that I've used in the past, it really does leave my skin moist. And it does its job by removing make up and residue!Sabrina
Surprised this doesn’t have a higher rating. For me it’s been a real game changer. I ordered this on a whim and thought it would be more of a cleanser that you wash off, but was surprised to realize that you leave it on like a lotion. At first I was worried that leaving it on the skin would be damaging, but it didn’t irritate my skin in the least. I do use a lotion with it as it’s not moisturizing by itself. But honestly this has been an unexpected game changer for me. It truly does exfoliate better than anything else I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot of things. I’ve always had a terrible problem with flaky dead skin on my face that doesn’t fall off on its own. I was having to use multiple tools to exfoliate the dead skin on my face on a daily basis. Since I have been using this I rarely have to manually exfoliate. Which is such a blessing as my skincare routine time has been cut back considerably and makeup goes on so much smoother. I use this product about 5 or 4 times a week. Sometimes under my lotion, sometimes on top depending on how many times I wash my face that day. I just never put it on if I know I’m going to be leaving the house as it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. I don’t know if this will work for everyone but it truly has helped my dead skin problem tremendously and it has made my skin smoother and helped minimize fine lines a little. I would say I have fairly good skin – as I’ve gotten older i can see a few more lines and it’s sometimes less “glowy” as I would prefer. These are game changers. Step 1 is a little tingly but nothing you can’t handle and it’s sooo worth it. Step 2 feels extremely hydrating. I did them in the morning before work and I got so many compliments on the glow my skin had & the smooth texture was a bonus too! Just ordered a new supply and I cannot wait for them to arrive! I bought this. First of all it took 3 months before I got it because they said it was so popular they were backed up. Finally received it , I was excited to try it and #1 of the peel all packages are dry. #2 was moised. However it doesn’t do anything to make the skin smooth or bright

I received this as a sample in the mail since I had not ordered anything recently. Even though it was only one application, I used it "just to see" if the description was accurate. It was! I liked the sample so much I immediately ordered it and, in fact, am re-ordering tonight. I have been doing peels for at least 12 years. Sometimes I do "light" peels, sometimes heavier peels. Depends on how much visible peeling I want to deal with. I don't, however, do them during the summer. I don't spend much time in the sun, but never know when I will be outside for several hours in someone's pool. I purchased these to use for the summer but have decided to continue using them long term. It is a very easy, simple application — much less work than a regular peel. It takes only a few minutes and there is no mess to clean. I love the "refreshing" feel from part one of the two part system. I do have extremely light peeling in certain places but nothing horrible to deal with. I have been using these now for a month and have noticed small improvements, specifically on my neck area. I am truly a fan of this product.

I've used soo many face scrubs and this has to be my fave! It is quite abrasive, but I like that. I have combination skin and suits me so well. It gets rid of all the oil and dirt in my pores. Literally leaves my skin squeeky clean and soft without leaving it dry. My pores look so much better and it leaves my complexion even and bright. I use it with the glycolic face wash and I just love them. Between them, they have also helped reduce the scarring on my face and don't flare up my roseca. I really want to try the pads next!

I really love this product. I've been using it for several months now. I do have combination skin, slightly oily, sensitive and sometimes patchy and dry. Even though this product does contain acid it doesn't cause me any irritation and it helps keep breakouts away. It also exfoliates well and leaves my skin soft and smooth. I use is around 4 times a week. It is more pricey that some of the other products available but I really feel it's worth paying abit more for this brand as it does work.Lily

This is mostly some sort of gel and very low volume of actual exfoliants. The microdermabrasion part is almost non-existent. There are way better brands out there. I was really disappointed and thought I would really like this. But on the first use I wanted to get my money back. Seriously, the ratio is like the entire tube with some super fine sand. You can barely feel it in the palms of your hands and on your face not much effect at all. It’s like you put a dash of salt ok your palm and then 3 large squeezes of hair gel. You barely fine the granules. Sending back.
This is my second time buying this product. It acts as a medical grade exfoliating cleanser. The micro-beads are not too harsh, yet firm enough to cleanse the skin, remove debris/impurities and minimize oil filled black-heads. I use it about 3 times to 4 times a week, but this is fine/smooth enough to use daily. My skin feels extremely cleansed and smoothed after.
