i decided to try this in conjunction with the sheamoisture low porosity line. i have thick 2b, 2c, 3a hair but not a ton of it. it's been damaged over the years from heat and coloring and probably from using the wrong products this whole time. my hair is low porosity and protein sensitive but this mask as a deep conditioner once a week has absolutely transformed my hair. it's soft both straight out the shower and air dried. it's not as tangled and way easier to comb through which has made my hair fall out a lot less. the mask is thick but has good slip and i don't feel my hair is stringy when i'm running it through my hair. i don't think i've ever felt my hair this soft before. highly recommend if you have dry, moisture resistant hairpia
I liked the texture of this and the way it applied. It was very smooth, had great slip, absorbed into my hair rather than just sitting on top and because of how well it applied, a little went a long way. Once I rinsed my hair out, I felt like it could’ve been softer and shinier. I’ve definitely used deep conditioners that left my hair feeling much better than this one. I don’t have curls, my hair is mostly straight. My hairdresser told me I may be in protein overload so I researched the best nourishing products without protein. I bought this and I did as the instructions asked. My hair looks and feels better. The smell is nothing to me. My hair is also thin and fine and it didn’t weigh it down. I barely used any. I’m very optimistic with this product after just one use. You don’t have to have curls to use this. Everyone needs a good nourishing mask!

I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. So, I decided to take the plunge and see if the rumors in the form of reviews were correct. After 1-2-3 long months of hooking up with Olaplex No.3. on consistent weekly tea dates, where we played charades, sipped mimosas and shared stories of our personal hair journey's, I noticed my hair looking like a thick scrumptious meal! So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. ⭐️First of all let’s get this out of the way, I was incentivized. I received these samples for free from Influenster and matrix for my honest opinion⭐️ Now that’s out of the way… Oh my hair is loving me right now… I waited until shampoo day and it was well worth it! After using the amazing shampoo I was a little skeptical that my hair would take to this conditioner because it’s so damaged and after I wash it I usually have to put a million and one conditioning products in it just to make it manageable!!! Well let me tell you this is not the case! After issuing a decent size dollop I ran it through my hair starting at the ends and working my way up to the root. Then I added a little bit of water to make it activate a little bit and VIOLA! I let it sit in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse with lukewarm water. I gently towel dry my hair afterwards and went to come through with a white tooth comb. This is the first time that the comb actually ran through my hair because my hair is so damaged. I literally want to cry. If your hair is out of control and it’s breaking to no end you should really try this and give it a little time and you will see such a difference. I want to wash my hair so badly again but I know I have to wait till it’s actually dirty! The smell is so lovely and it doesn’t fade away but it’s also not overbearing. Give it a try it!! I have fine wavy colored treated hair. I wash, condition, and apply leave-in conditioner every 2-3 days. I apply the hair mask just once a week. This is a great shampoo and an essential for extremely dry hair. What I love is that the shampoo has a heavy conditioning component already, so when used with the various conditioners you get this double infusion of moisturizer. The Biolage Ultra Hydra Source formula seems to coat and seal the hair, so it is super manageable while smelling like a tropical paradise. When I put the product on my hair, my hair just soaked it in. I have never had a conditioner do that before and when I rinsed it out, my hair was like silk. I have a fine, thin and arm-length hair that lack volume snd that require daily washing (thanks to the genes in my family). I have used many, maany professional hair products to find which one would work best for me, many of them being professional brands and higher on the price range. Had my hopes high with this one, but unfortunately they were not met. The good things are the bigger amount (300ml vs standard 250ml) and not too strong scent. These are the pluses for the conditioner and shampoo. Unfortunately the conditioner is too heavy in my opinion and despite washing it off properly it still weighs down my hair plus I really have to wash it the next day (which with other brands sometimes doesn’t happen). I also noticed that my hair became more frizzy and just not looking good.. I will try to finish the bottle (half way through!) but won’t repurchase.Alicja
I do not have fine or thin hair, but it isn't course or thick – I just have a lot of it. Because of that I struggle with volume at the roots and most shampoos and conditions either clean my hair and leave me with a dry scalp and flat hair, or it is weighted down and gets oily quick. No matter what, I always have to use a volumizer and still dont achieve the hairs goals I dream of. FINALLY! The hair of my dreams has arrived!!!! I went with my gut after reading the ingredients/goals and got the fine shampoo & conditioner. MY FOREVER DUO! I have used this combo and both air dried my hair and blow-dried my hair. Each time my results were amazing!!!! Naturally air-drying my hair left me with loads of body and volume and not only looked healthy, clean and bouncy – but it also felt amazing and smelled wonderful. When I blow-dried my hair, I had so much volume and it did not fall at all. I wash my hair twice a week and have to use dry shampoo and with this combo I made it through workouts and sleeping crazy and still had clean hair. That is a FIRST!!! I switched to the Super Dry Shampoo before turning their shampoo/conditioner and loved it…now I don't even have to use it unless I want a little refresh but overall I am good to go. My first impression of the smell from the bottles was not favorable, but when it is activated with water and applied to scalp and hair, it smells unbelievable. I love fragrances and everything I buy must be scented. After shampooing with the detox shampoo and conditioning with Ouai for fine hair – I hair and scalp feel cleaner than ever. I have very hard water and just one shampoo with this stuff has made my hair feel better than it has in years. I was using living proof detox prior to this and I will not go back! Please do not change these ingredients! It has taken me years to find a product that works for my hair which is very long and color treated. I have fine strands but it’s pretty dense – so I have a lot of it. I am letting my hair air dry, but scalp feels cool and tingly, so one or more ingredients has the blood flowing, for sure. It’s a clear shampoo with a great clean scent. Unlike some sulfate free, no build up type shampoos, this didn’t leave my dry and frizz prone hair feeling stripped. It actually gave my hair a soft and smooth feeling. I use this once weekly and wash with another shampoo for my other shampooing during the week. I can’t speak to how this product works for those who wash daily but it definitely feels gentle. I’d been wanting to try this brand for quite some time and I actually won this product so I received it free. My opinion is my own honest feedback after using the shampoo weekly for the past 3 months. I’m interested in trying other products from Color Wow, especially the Dream Coat. I originally got this from a Today Show steals & deals segment (they sucker me in all the time) and received full size shampoo, conditioner, and 3 other styling and heat protectant products. I always try things for several weeks, go back to my usual stuff for several weeks and see if I can tell a difference. I absolutely positively can with this shampoo/conditioner! My hair is silky, light, bouncy, shiny and not greasy at all. My notice my ends don’t get as dry between washes (I was my hair once/week) and I can go much longer before I need dry shampoo. My color looks amazing and even if I didn’t have any color (majority of my hair is my natural color) I would still use WOW. Give it a shot – it’s very comparable to SUPER expensive/higher end stuff and PRO TIP for you girls saying it left your hair “gunky” – girl get your head under the bathroom sink after your shower with cold cold water to make sure ALL of it is out of your hair/scalp. I wish I could give this 4.5 stars. The smell is mild, nice. It lathers up well. It doesn’t tangle my hair like some other sulfate free shampoos do. It creates beautiful shine. I don’t notice any color fallout at all. Overall I really enjoy this shampoo and have repurchased it a few times. My issue is that I feel like I have to use a lot of it each time and if I wash my hair more than twice a week, the ends can feel a little dry. I have medium length and someone thin hair. I found this shampoo to be very lightweight and while it did add shine, moisture, and smoothness, I didn’t find a difference between this shampoo vs drug store brand. My hair is not dyed and already very hydrated so unfortunately I didn’t see any difference. It does smell nice and my scalp wasn’t dry. The ends of my hair were smooth and didn’t look dry. My husband also used it as he has dry scalp and he felt that it was helpful in keeping his scalp moisturized. On days where I blew dry my hair, it was silky smooth. On days where I air dried, it was fluffy and smooth. My hair was not oily after 4 days without any products. I rarely touch my hair to avoid transferring oils. For the price, I wished it was a bigger bottle. I did use the IGK Dream Hair Conditioner after shampooing. I got this product in a FabFitFun box. I’ll start off saying that the actual product is great. It lathers nicely, smells great and my hair feels awesome after using it. 5/5 for the product itself. Where it loses points is the packaging. It gives hardcore dollar store vibes. The bottles are not opaque or at least have an opaque line to see the product and how much is left. Due to the font size and style and busyness of the label and also the above comment, it’s really really difficult to tell which is the shampoo and conditioner. Each time I’ve used it, I had to open the shower curtain to get better lighting to see which is which. The packaging is so poor and cheap looking. I was surprised that the small bottle goes for $30. I got this product for free in exchange of my honest review. First off packaging is pretty, price wise I say it’s a bit steeped for a regular sized shampoo bottle. Of course I know it’s a vegan product so a lot of work went into production I would say? The product consistency is thick and once I lathered onto my med length hair I find that I needed to pour more so I can get the lather I need for my hair. It felt a bit stripping but I liked the feeling of it being really cleaned. Smell is nice not too fragrantly. First thing is I received this #freeproduct color mask in the color "pitch black". I'm upset as this was not a black color at all, it's gray. While technically the color is on the bottle in a small font where it can be overlooked, it's still misleading calling it black. Since I already dye my hair black I thought I could use this to cover my roots and brighten the rest. I was so wrong. I applied it on dry hair and left it on beyond the 15 minutes in the directions, for about an hour under a cap (to benefit from the "mask" oils). Even though this is a darker gray, it didn't cover my natural brunette color at my roots and left my hair looking dull and kinda dirty. However it did leave my normally dry curly hair soft to the touch, but it was still extremely frizzy and prone to breakage after. Fortunately for me after the 1st wash a little more than half the color came out and my hair looked less dull & dirty. It still felt soft for a while even after adding frizz control serums. I'm really hoping the other colors are more accurate and perhaps work slightly better on darker hair, but this is still a good hair mask, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I would probably recommend this more to someone who has lighter hair for color purposes and others more for the mask part, but not at it's current price. Ok – so the color transfer worked better than I thought it might… meaning it did deposit quite a lot of color. It was relatively easy to use, and was not harsh on my hair or scalp. My hair is feeling soft after using, but will see how it does after washing again. However, the colors need better descriptions, especially the colors like La Plage. I used La Plage which is merely described as "sand" on very light blonde hair, hoping to restore some more natural sandy blonde color to my hair again. The product did work on my dry hair depositing color in 15 minutes, but the color I would not describe as "sand." There are parts that are very very strawberry blonde or reddish blonde, and some that are slightly more subtle with the reddish hues. It did restore a more natural-looking color to my hair, just not the color I was hoping for. I think the other colorful colors will be hard to confuse, but the La Plage was not very straight forward. I also bought the "strawberry" color expecting to use it later in the summer, but I may try it sooner than expected considering this strawberry blonde is not really what I wanted. I will try to update this review again later. For now, I'm going to give this a few days and see what the color does after a few washes. Also, I had watched a video review of the "magic" color before purchasing. That color is very gray, and on the darker side. Buyer be aware there are colors that need better descriptions than offered on the packaging alone.AmyB

I have naturally straight dark brown hair, between a level 4 or 5 and get it balayaged to a sandy neutral blonde, between a level 7/8. I've wanted to try something new without making a drastic change for a while now and decided to give this a shot. The instructions say that you can use on dry hair for up to 15 minutes a more intense color or on wet hair for a few minutes for a more subtle look. I really did not want a noticeable difference, so I left it on for about 10 to15 minutes on wet hair and the result was very, very subtle. The color is mostly visible up close or in sunlight, and it looked very soft and pastel – almost peach colored. This was perfect for me and just want I was looking for. The color, however, did not last. After my first wash it completely faded away, which is fine considering I was not looking for anything permanent. The best part though was the way it made my hair feel, it was so incredibly soft! Better than my Amika hair mask and the smell was wonderful. This may work better if your hair is already lightened and you leave it on dry hair for 20-30 min, but if you're looking for something subtle that is not long lasting and will leave your hair feeling soft and smooth, then this is a great product.Meegs

It took a bit of convincing from my colorist to get me to try this mask. I had only tried Moroccan oil previously and noticed that it left a weird yellow tint to my hair overtime. My hair colorist recommended this to me because my hair didn't need anymore protein/keratin but does in desperate need for moisture. I didn't know this before but I guess if your hair is strong and doesn't break easily but just looks dull and dry, then that is when you steer away from the protein/keratin products and look to moisture products. I was advised by my colorist to use this in place of a conditioner and even leave it in and air dry my hair. I wanted to dislike it because of the price but I have to admit that I had great, shiny hair. It looks like I came out of a salon. I would shampoo with any product, ring out water, apply this to my hair with the exception of roots and then twist it on top of my head and throw it into a tight bun. Then, I just let it dry. I have very fine, bleached hair. Originally I bought the Moroccanoil kit with the oil, shampoo, conditioner, and the intense hydration hair mask. In regards to the hydration hair mask it was great for my hair and made it very shiny! My hair dresser recommended the restorative one would be better for me. The pump dispenser….ugh. I really like that the bottles are made from recycled plastics, the size is good to hold and set on a shower shelf, but the pump itself is horrible to use. I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. The conditioner is nice and slimey (if you have hair like mine that will tangle horribly and you need a slimey conditioner just to be able to comb it after.. my hair is shoulder length now, but used to be LONG, my hair acts no different with a different length), its very conditioning and works very well!!! I have zero complaints on both these products and do recommend! Only warning is the scent if you are sensitive, you can always try and return, but give it a fair chance. I honestly love this stuff and so glad I found the right product so I can stick with something that makes me and my hair happy. FINALLY!! P.S. I leave my conditioner upside down, so its easier to squeeze it out VS shaking the bottle to get the conditioner to come out since its thick not runny.Jessica
I really love that this product truly makes my fizzy, wavy hair less frizzy and sleek! I come out of the shower with shiny hair and it seems to stay much more tame than with standard shampoos!! I recently received the Nioxin System Haircare Shampoo 4 for color Treated hair complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. The shampoo is minty and after a good washing, leaves the scalp with a tingle. After blow drying, my hair feels very clean and bouncy. I color my hair every 8 weeks, so I am especially a fan as this product is color safe. With age and over processing, my hair has thinned. With that said, I felt I was the perfect candidate to test this product. My hair now has visible volume and with time and continued use, it should become much thicker as well. I really wish that I had more time to use this product before submitting a review, as hair grows slowly and I could have given a more accurate review. I received a sample of this product in an exchange for an honest review from Influenster. I have been using it for the last 17 days. I have curly, dark brown, graying hair that has seen it’s share of box dye. That being said, although I like the tingling feeling this product has on my scalp, and although I do leave this conditioner in for the recommended 3 minutes at least, I find that my hair is very dry and frizzy. I wish that there was a way to add something a bit more moisturizing. I’m addition it says to use the product daily for best results. I hadn’t been one to wash my hair daily before so it takes some getting used to. In the shower while it sits in my hair, I clip it up to prevent premature rinsing. But honestly, my hair does look a bit thicker. I cannot wait to see what the remainder of the bottle brings to me.victoria.s

LISTEN LADIES ( & Gentlemen ) This product WILL NOT LATHER!!! It is not made to lather. Sulfate free means it is made without the detergent/lathering chemicals! This is a good thing!! Do not be dismayed by the reviews that say this product is bad just because it doesn't lather up. You will however have to change the method in which you wash your hair because it will cause major tangles if you just pile your hair up on your head and go to scrubbing! That is not how this stuff works. I have EXTREMELY long hair (aprox 3 feet long) & it is Cherry-coke color. The best process is to brush your hair before you get in the shower (this helps keep you from shedding so much hair in the shower too) and then wet hair (just let the water run through keeping it straight), then take shampoo and gently portion it out to diff areas of your head (gently rub in) and then take more shampoo and rub into the length, I never squish or swirl my hair all around. What I do is very similiar to what my stylist does when dying my hair, just minus the brush. I leave the product for about 3 minutes. I then rinse, again, without bringing the length up to my scalp I just let the water run from the scalp to the length while ringing it out after my hair fills with water & massaging scalp to work it through. Repeat with conditioner. AS FOR VOLUME THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!! I blew dry my hair and had instant volume! I also use the "Dense" to add thickness (I have thin hair) & I use the "powder play" to add more root volume. Its been a week and my volume is still there! Since washing my hair is so much work, I try to go as long as I can without washing it BUT so many products make my hair oily but not this one! I truly believe that the lack of sulfates that strip oils is the reason why! Just like your face, if you strip your oils your body will over produce oils to compensate! This is my favorite shampoo. I recently tried some others, but I'm back to this one. I have a lot of straight fine hair, and this shampoo gives me the most volume of any other shampoo I've tried, without using any additional products and without drying my hair out. I have seen a lot of reviews on this product stating that it doesn't lather well and that it doesn't cleanse very well… Both are true! However, that's true of many, if not all Sulfate Free shampoos. For those with oily hair, like myself (I HAVE to wash everyday) there are a few tricks to get around this. Start by washing your hair with another, cheaper, milder shampoo. This will clean the oils out of your hair so when you use this product it can actually volumize your hair. This isn't going to foam up like a traditional shampoo because it is sulfate free, sulfates are part of what makes shampoos suds, which honestly is harsh on the hair (read: detergent) This product DOES give yo ugreat volume! Even after straightening! (given I used a lower setting to ensure I didn't lose volume) It does cause a tiny bit of frizziness, even with the conditioner, but a TINY bit of anti frizz serum seemed to tone that down. I have done this for the past few days and have not had my hair weigh down or feel any more oily than normal, infact it's actually LESS oily. For those with dry hair you may try blow dry cream or something post wash to help bring some moisture back into your hair that is light and won't weigh it down. But as far as volume, I found that this product DOES deliver.oily concerned

I’ve been looking for a natural dry shampoo without nasty synthetic fragrance for a long time. So excited about this product for that reason alone but also because it works! It has a grittier texture than others, almost like it was crossed with a little bit of volumizing powder, which my hair desperately needs when it's short like this. I'd been looking for the right combination to get a natural looking red/auburn (I CANNOT pull off ginger much to my chagrin) for almost a year and was afraid to go red again after my last experience with red (well orange) but I can't talk enough about how good this product is. I had mousy, light brown hair that is, at this point after 5 or so years of frowning it out, virgin hair. I also don't use heat on my hair so it's rather resistant to most temporary, semi- or Demi permanent color, which leads to a LOT of transfer. I have little to no transfer even with day 3-4 hair or after the shower as long as I rinse until the water is clear. I mix the merlot and copper shades 50/50 and use it every other wash in the place of my normal cleansing conditioner which equals about 1x a week for me with my curly girl routine. I've found this maintains the color without having to wait extended periods of time with goop on your head. I only do that every 4-5 washes depending on how my color is holding up. I get so many compliments on the color (it's been described to me as Irish setter red if you want a visual aid). People are shocked when I say it's dyed which is crazy to me but definitely welcome! I have very few gripes about the product, only really two minor things. Unfortunately, like almost every other non-permanent due on the market, it does have silicones, it just comes with the territory but I find that the shampooing with the color keeps my hair from getting too limp or messing with my curl pattern (3A). I don't like silicones but it's a trade-off I find worth it, especially given that I can stop using the product if it's weighing my hair down and messing with the curls. In addition to that, because I have to mix the colors and red is notorious for staining, my hands, my bathroom and tub have become Peach Bellini or red tinted on more than one occasion but that's more me not being careful enough than the product being bad. I've been buying the smaller bottles for 2 years and then last year there was a 50% off sale so i bought 3 of these huge bottles. i lost 2 of the bottles during moving (😭😭😭 i mourned these and ripped apart everything trying to find them) but the big bottle i did get to try, lasted over 6 months, it definitely replaced my use of shampoo AND conditioner bc it DID feel cleaner without having to using a shampoo n i felt like not using a shampoo at all was better. it DOES stain ur tub n shower if u dont wipe it off immediately if it does splatter but honestly worth it. its not AS staining as some other color depositing conditioners ive used, it smells great, and the color DOES last. fyi tho if u scratch ur scalp like i do when im thinking, the color will show up under ur fingernails tho 🤡 you can check my insta n quite literally see how long its lasted me since hair salon color. after using it once touching up roots n overall hair dye at the hair salon, the color literally never faded except for the times i didnt use the clenditioner. i also think it made my hair softer n healthier too. idk ab these hair loss claims but my hair was already losing hair bc of my continuous 4+ years long hair color journey of repeatedly dying it pink for 4 or so years without a break so maybe the hair loss claims are just ab the bleach? or some other environmental factor? i dont think its made it more hair loss-y tho. the color is rosegold however u can see a bit of lilac/lavender colors in there too so ig just be aware? i dont mind it all tho cause i love the pink, rose gold, and lilac/lavender hues i hope they have the 50% off sale again bc if i buy another 3 bottles–im pretty sure itll last 3 years(at least for me) i use to have shoulder length hair but now more like bust length hair. This review is for maintaining fashion color that was done professionally. I had purple and pink rainbow hair. My stylist recommended using this product as directed every other wash. I mixed the pink with a small amount of purple to make a dark pink. It really seemed to revive both colors. I applied to wet hair, used in place of shampoo and conditioner, left in for the rest of my shower, and then rinsed with cool water. Afterwards I applied olaplex hair perfector and a few drops of olaplex oil. Every time my hair was left perfectly soft and clean. I easily made it 3 months between color appointments. The bottle does say to test the product before each use. I imagine there must be some allergic reactions that can result, which I think is supported by several reviews stating they had hair loss. I would recommend being careful about trying to use this as a dye or for extended time on dry hair. This product does not work on my natural brunette growth. Lastly, this can stain your hands, but it won't for long. I just rinse my hands after every segment of hair that I work it into. I also have a scalp scrubber and wide tooth comb that I use to gently distribute so I'm not just using my hands. Rinse the product off of the shower walls and tub or it can stain, but bleach spray takes it right out.B

I've been struggling for almost 10 years because thanks to relaxers and certain medications, I ended up losing the majority of my hair. My hair ended up growing back, thankfully, but my scalp was ALWAYS itchy so the hair on the top of my head never grew back right. After countless dermatologist and doctors apps and several prescription shampoos, my hair was still itchy immediately after washing unless I literally didn't use conditioner or any other product. Since I couldn't stop scratching, I couldn't get my hair to grow back. I tried using some shampoos I found elsewhere, but once again, my scalp was itchy as soon as I put product in my hair. I didn't notice until just now but I've been using this product for about 2 weeks and I have NOT scratched my scalp. There's no more itch! The first week I used this product, I went a week without shampooing again before my scalp got itchy. I was finally able to just wear my hair in a bun for a few days without having to wash every morning. Hopefully my hair can grow back now that the itching is gone, but that's a story for another day. THIS PRODUCT WORKED AS ADVERTISED!
I have had issues with dry/itchy/flakey scalp for a while. I've tried other shampoos and conditioners but nothing really worked for me. This made a huge difference after the first use and after the second time using it my flakes were completely gone! I use it once a week by applying it directly to my scalp and wrapping my head in a hot towel for about 15-20 mins. I do have to shampoo twice afterwards due to the oil. It also isn't a permanent solution, I skipped a week and my itchiness and flakes did start to come back. But I love this stuff. Ordering more bottles now!
I just finished my first bottle, and bought a second, so I think it’s time I write this review. I have type 2C hair that I wash about twice a week, and this works really well for me. Keeps my dandruff under control, removes product and oil buildup without stripping my hair, and lasts me about 3 months. It’s only pitfall is that, because of how minty it is, I have to keep my eyes closed while using it Or Else. I would like to note that this mint is more of a toothpaste mint rather than an herbal-aromatherapy mint, which might be a turn off for you. Personally, I don’t mind, as all traces of the smell seem to wash down the drain. Easily the best dandruff shampoo I’ve tried since going natural.

The quality is outstanding. I have sensitive dry skin, also suffer from dermatographia, and my hair is a 3b/3c combination of dry ends and zigzag curls. As you can imagine finding any hair product strong enough to make my curls behave, but not agresive enough to make my scalp itch, was quite difficult until now. Due to my sensitivity, it's not uncommon for my skin to swell and itch because of a product.(which didn't happen with this product! yay!) The mild scent is really nice and natural, which I love because I don't like artificial fragrances. Every time I wash my hair my scalp feels free, if that makes any sense, as in it doesn't feel heavy with product and is able to breathe. You also don't need to use too much product in one wash since the texture is quite thick but spreads easily. After washing the hair is left soft but bouncy, it's easy to de-tangle and smells amazing. Because of my hair structure I tried multiple brands, and while some kinda worked, they required washing my hair every day since the roots would get oily cause of the product overload. With this one tho I could wash my hair once every 3 days(minimum) and that's awesome. It also moisturizes my scalp enough to get rid of the little dandruff I got from a product that irritated my skin. Overall I wholeheartedly recommend this brand !! I bought the whole line: shampoo, conditioner, mask, and curls definer. I use the mask once a week and the conditioner when not using the mask. The first picture is before I tried those product, and the second one is after the first wash. As you can see it looks soft, there's almost no brittle, it's shiny and I finally claimed my curls back! * this is not a cure for dermatographia! My condition is in remission nowadays, thank the universe. If your dermatitis is still active, I suggest consulting a dermatologist and using medically approved and proven relief products. I have been using the Shea Moisture conditioner for approximately two weeks and was provided them by #trywithtopbox as a #freeproduct for my honest review. I have fine, thin, waist length hair that is naturally blonde starting to go grey, that is prone to split ends and I would describe as normal to oily. I don't wash it daily but every 2 to 3 days it's just too much work to do daily. I used the conditioner as directed and found that my hair combed out fairly easily even while still wet which was great as it tends to tangle quite badly when I don't use a good conditioner on it. My hair was soft and shiny and manageable. The container for this feels slightly greasy when I handle it during use even after rinsing them off. The conditioner bottle uses a pump as a dispenser which is great but I couldn't get the original one that came with the bottle to function. I replaced it with one I had but I noticed that the thick conditioner dries and forms a plug that takes several pumps to force out. Overall I would say this was a good product that worked as advertised and if someone was looking to try this I would recommend it, I'm not sure if it is the best choice for me given the frequency with which I wash my hair.MargarethaM

I haven't had much luck with masks in the past, but this one seemed to work well enough. I did receive this complimentary for my honest review. I have used this once a week for two weeks. I do really like the consistency; it's thicker and really stays in my hair during the shower versus thinner conditioners that sweat out in the condensation of the steam. It's easy to rinse, with no residue left behind. I do wish it detangled just a little bit better since it acts as the conditioner as well. It does calm my very dry, very bleached hair, fairly frizzy hair to a manageable style with really soft touch ability. I live in Florida, so it's a constant battle of humidity. It seemed to hold very well for the three days I go between washing. I really enjoy the smell; a light floral scent. The packaging is actually one of my favorite parts. It's so easy to hold and manipulate in the shower when my hands are already wet. I don't know that I would necessarily buy this again for myself, but would try another type of mask by them. Ok the product itself is amazing. It worked wonders in my hair. However, the scent was not the original Biolage scent that I was expecting. It was practically perfume and I usually love scented hair products. I was not a fan of this smell. My hair hasn't felt this good in a LONG time. I was able to air dry and see my natural waves without any product. But the scent… holy cow. Granted, I am very sensitive to scents as I have the "nose of a bloodhound" according to my husband, but the chemical-y scent of flowers or whatever it was supposed to be was so strong after I rinsed that I got a severe migraine within the hour. I’m transitioning my hair from relaxed to natural and I wanted a shampoo to help detangle my two textured hair. I found this on my last trip @ Sally’s and I was originally going in for the Zotos No Poo shampoo for curls, but noticed this right next to it! I remember Wella being a pretty decent mid range brand and the last time I tried this it had “diamond dust” in it and it smelled delicious // this looks revamped with Lime Caviar which idk what it really means but it’s cute lol 😂 I’ll take it reminds me of the brand, Alterna and their brand is all about Anti Aging hair care + Caviar everything 🔥🔥🥰🥰 // this new version smells different but still great it’s a light scent, not heavy at all. I got this product in travel size from an ulta blind bag with the conditioner a while ago . I used this on a whim for travel and was completely hooked !!! I have PCOS which causes me to have an extremely oily scalp that has dandruff / buildup. I have tried probably 100s of shampoos . Paul Mitchell tea tree , organix ,biólage , selson blue , head and shoulders and even a prescription shampoo along with many more and none of them have helped control my oily scalp and are usually extremely drying on my hair causing breakage and lots of frizz . Ever since I switched to this shampoo my scalp feels so clean and my oil has drastically reduced to the point where I can wait 2-3 days between washes ! I have been using the shampoo and conditioner combo for fine hair every 2-3 days for about 10 years. It was excellent until they changed the formula 1 year ago?? Now, I can't stand the scent, it is so strong!! I exchanged it once because i thought it was expired but, no, i guess that was the new scent. Performance wise, it is not as moisturizing and I also find myself using a lot more of it to get the shampoo to foam and for the conditioner to make my hair feel soft. While using this shampoo, I maintained my tried-and-true routine including regular hydrating masks, bond-building products, and protective products/styling. However, I've had better results with other texturizing/volumizing shampoos- both drugstore and salon brands. I give this product two stars because it didn't irritate my scalp, and it did an okay job with cleansing. However, I do not recommend this shampoo or its corresponding conditioner if you're looking to beat frizz.Em

Tried the smaller size to see if I would like. I do not. The smell reminds me of something with chemicals in it from childhood. I haven’t figured it out yet what that smell is. And have not noticed any benefit . Almost done with it. If you wanted to improve it- either take away the chemical odor and replace with a very light scent .
