I love the suction power of this little hoover. It's so handy in my job as a childminder to quickly pick up crumbs. The jobs it makes so simple are pvc door frames at the bottom where dirt gets trapped or the cutlery drawer. Using the brush attachment on those jobs cuts the time it takes to complete the tasks. I have to give a mention to Eufy customer support who replaced my hoover after the rubber nozzle stopper was lost. It is a bit of a design fault and renders the hoover useless when it goes missing. Now my whole household are aware of the part we can take care when emptying the dustbin. The exchange was very quick and dealt with efficiently & friendly. Really pleased.
Good little vacuum. Suction isn't great, don't expect it to be anywhere near other cordless levels but it's good for the odd cleanup around the room. Sometimes can have trouble picking up things it's directly pointed at, closer approach to the floor is needed. Filter is good, a little too good because it clogs up with dust frequently. Regular cleaning / emptying required in order to maintain the already limited suction power. Battery was excellent out the box. Now about a month later I can see it depletes within 10 minutes or so. Charging with micro USB is a plus and 2/3 charge bar level can do a decent sized room comfortably. Overall good product; it's lightweight, off button can annoyingly be accidentally hit but no big deal, easy to clean reusable filters are a bonus, brush extension is good but with the extra length you can noticeably tell power is being lost. Nothing that will rival the big boys like Dyson and Shark but it's reflected in the price, great for cars or general dusting in hard to reach places with conventional vacuum tubes. You could look at the lack of suction as a positive; it won't grab objects, instead gently removes the dust. I'd recommend but buying at around £25.
According to the marketing materials and the product manual the filters are washable. The joke is that you can't separate the outside pre-filter from the inside filter as shown in the product manual or the marketing material. The outer filter is supposed to twist on and off (contrary to the manual, page 10, that shows it coming straight off) but it was so tight that I indented and almost broke out the fine mesh of the outer screen in the process. The reassembly process and the small icon on the filter show it twisting on and off. Even so, I had to use a pocket knife to get it loose enough to remove. I have no idea how a person with weak hands could accomplish this. Just another case of a techy designer using a CAD system and never testing it outside of the computer geek world, shoving it into production and screwing the consumer in the process. I won't buy another one.

After a short time of use, I was left slightly unimpressed by this vacuum. I own a similar vacuum by a different manufacturer and there are many features it has, that I wish this Samsung Jet vacuum had, such as a telescoping wand, a spare battery, a stand-alone charging stand, and a bottom emptying dust canister. What I loved the most about this vacuum was how extremely lightweight it is, the suction power, and the low profile vacuum head. I was very disappointed with the battery life of this vacuum, and I also found the pet hair tool (mini motorized tool) to be a mostly useless, battery draining tool. The low profile vacuum head and its powerful suction makes for an excellent vacuum on non-carpeted floors and it picks up pet hair really well. Unfortunately, the tiny wheels on the vacuum head made it difficult to vacuum carpet, which is disappointing for my household since it's a mixture of hardwood and carpet. (It just didn’t glide smoothly across carpet, especially at the higher suction settings.) Additionally, while the low profile vacuum head allows for vacuuming of tight spaces, it really limits the debris size that can be vacuumed up. There are three power levels to vacuum at, low, mid, and max. The mid level does ok but I definitely preferred running the vacuum on the max setting. Unfortunately running at the max significantly reduced the runtime of the vacuum to about 7 minutes, and with only one battery included, this means you're out of luck until it recharges. I did like using the vacuum to reach high spots around the house that tend to collect dust and cobwebs. The light weight of the vacuum and the extension crevice tool made it easy to get to those hard to reach areas without having to pull out a step stool. This is where the lightness of the vacuum really shined, as I was able to go around the entire house vacuuming corners and vents without my arm ever getting tired from holding the vacuum up in the air. Overall, after several days of use, I feel that the performance of this vacuum is just ok / average, especially compared to others on the market. There is definitely room for improvement. The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is really lightweight and easy to use with only one hand. It comes with lots of accessories making it very versatile. All of the attachments have a button-click system making it very easy to attach or unattach the different accessories on the fly, so there’s no delay in your cleaning. The vacuum has adjustable suction power and decent suction even on lowest setting, but has even more power when you need it. This vacuum is absolutely great for cleaning those hard to reach places both high and low such as corners, under furniture, air vents, ceiling fans, and window blinds. The Jet 60 is convenient for vacuuming your car. For me, the greatest application for the Jet 60 is vacuuming the stairs. Not having to drag a full sized vacuum up and down the stairs is very nice. The product package states that the battery lasts up to 40 minutes. But when I use it on lowest power setting, I get about 24 minutes before the battery gives out. On full suction power, I only get around 6 minutes of charge. The battery charges quite slowly. After a small job of just a few minutes it takes around half an hour to recharge fully and after a job that depletes the battery completely it takes several hours to recharge fully. This means that it’s really not useful for a whole house cleaning, for that you probably need a corded vacuum. But if you had a small apartment or dorm room it might work fine. Otherwise, it’s mainly useful for spot cleaning and small cleanup jobs like vacuuming the stairs or your car. The dust collection bin is a reasonable size given the battery life, you are likely to run down the battery before the bin is full. The bin consists of 3 parts, one of which is a HEPA filter, and is easy to detach, empty, and clean by rinsing with water. There is a jet of air that comes out of both sides of the vacuum. I mention it because I have experienced these jets blowing dust up into the air while cleaning in especially dusty areas or when vacuuming near loose papers, like on a desk, the papers can get blown around. Overall, the Samsun Jet 60 works quite well, but my biggest complaint is the lack of battery life. Samsung really knocked it out of the park with this little guy. Between my wife and I, we actually enjoy vacuuming. We've even had competitions to see who can clean the most before the battery runs down! It's substantially more than I expected for the size of the battery, you can get a few rooms lightly soiled carpeted rooms in! Not just using it at the lowest speed either! (I'm not sure where Samsung gets the "up to 40mins" number, but I think you'd have to be not using any powered attachments, and at the lowest setting to get close to that, caveat aside, it lasts enough for a quick clean on an average house floor or more!) I also was not expecting it would actually pick up much more than an older hand vacuum that happens to have a long wand/sweeper attachment. It actually functions as a "main" vacuum if you're a frequent cleaner, as it handles deeper messes in a carpet that I was not expecting it to even come close to pulling up all the way. (dog and people hair plus some tracked in dirt/sand that was stepped in, took a few passes, but still managed) It's also not excessively loud, my infant daughter is most intrigued by it and watches us intently, whereas she was frightened/we had to put some hearing protecting on her if we wanted to use our "big" corded vacuum. The ONLY downside I have to this vacuum is the charging/mounting unit, which is why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. Some folks do not want to mount a vacuum and just want it hidden in a closet until use, with a battery charger in the corner maybe out of the way. I love this stick vac. It's light, quiet and really does a good job. This is truly a great value. It's a great machine for an amazing price. The wall mount was easy, and the attachments are easy on/easy off. This makes vacuuming the stairs SO MUCH EASIER. Highly recommend. Normally when I try out one of these light-weight battery-powered vacuums, the primary issue is power. I am happy to report that the HomeVac S11 Lite is perhaps the most powerful of these vacuums I've tried. It's even proved pretty effective at pulling stuff out of my carpet. There's a button on the top that lets you switch the suction to overdrive, and I didn't even realize it was there for days because the normal power was enough for everyday situations. The engineering of this thing is delightfully elegant. The handle is like a pistol grip, very easy to control, and by rotating the handle I can maneuver the vacuum head easily around chair and table legs. It comes with three nozzles that are simple to pop on and off, emptying the dust tray is a breeze, overall am I impressed by just how well the whole thing comes together. This vacuum is great! There are so many little things that they didn’t have to do but make it that much better. There is a small light on the vacuum which helps to see everything on the floor! There is a strip of rubber on the front that helps to not bang up your floor boards. The vacuum comes with a couple different pieces so you can use it for multiple things. I wanted to try one of the Shark hand vacs because I have had Shark full size vacuums for several years now and they've been great. I returned this back to the store because overall I wasn't really impressed at all and expected more with it being a Shark vacuum. The suction didn't seem very strong, definitely not as strong as my Bissell hand vac and the overall design and feel of using it just didn't work for me. I bought this to remove dog hairs in my auto. The vacuum by itself failed to remove it, to be fair much of the hair was intertwined/embedded in the carpet and my seats are not flat. I then used a set of rubber kitchen glove and swept the hairs it worked like a charm but still there were some left. This is where the vacuum worked it did a very good job of removing the remaining hair. The vacuum will work by itself in moderate amounts of hair as long as the hair isn't embedded into the carpet.Jack

This little hand vacuum is my favorite thing, I had a older one different model same brand and I thought I loved it but this one is far more superior, my husband tried to swipe it for his garage and I told him I don’t think so mister! I love that it is a 16V and has two power settings, it is sleek looking, the suction neck extends a good amount and the the way it is designed is perfect for getting into tough spaces and against walls and into cracks. You can wash the filter out which is super nice and it keeps a charge for quite a while but also has and indicator to tell you when the battery is running low. My only complaint is that you have to be careful when putting it back in it’s charging dock as the release button can accidentally get pushed and all your dirt falls out but this only happened to me once when I was hurriedly putting it back on the dock, so it is avoidable. Also this model blows from its side and not the back which is an awesome feature for this little vac because the ones that blow from the back and be tricky and blow your dirt around and I don’t have that problem with this hand vac and that makes me happy. This dustbuster is one strong vacuum and it’s perfect for the home and especially the car. It has an extendable crevice tool that makes it so easy to get in right spots. Especially between the seat and frame of the car or in between the cushions in my couch. This device has a great design. First it’s lightweight and has a see through window that allows you to see all the dirt and know when it’s time to empty. To empty, it’s so easy. Just a simple push of one button and that lid pops open. There’s also a filter inside. You don’t need to replace it, just give it a good cleaning. These two pieces comes apart very easy. I also like the look of the dustbuster. It’s got a sleek look and i got to say it’s attractive. It also comes with a charging dock and screws are even provided so you can mount the dock. Before use it will need a good charge. However, the battery life last a good long time. I’m able to get several days with heavy use without having to keep on the charger. It even has an indicator light letting you know when the battery is running low. This dustbuster is small but it has a powerful suction. It can stand up on a table. It also has a power boost button which makes it have 2 settings. That really really give it a boost if you need a stronger suction. All in all this handheld vacuum was even better then I expected. The Black & Decker 16V Advanced Clean Dustbuster has the most powerful suction that I have ever experienced with a hand held vacuum. I decided to try out the Dustbuster on three different cleaner opportunities. The first opportunity was removing cat hair from my curtains. I have a cat that climbs into a window seat everyday, she rubs against the curtains as she opens them leaving behind an excessive amount of cat hair. Because the curtains are delicate, I am not able to use a regular vacuum cleaner on them. The Advanced Cleaner Dustbuster has two settings making the lower setting delicate enough to use on the curtains but powerful enough to remove the cat hair. Next, I decided to try out the Dustbuster on my car. The extended crevice tool was phenomenal reaching places that commercial car vacuums are not able to reach. The skinny mouth of the extended crevice tool was able to reach tight places and pick up cheerios that we had been trying to remove for over a year. The power of the Advanced Clean Dustbuster was far superior than any other vacuum I have used in my vehicle. Lastly, our house is under construction. We are removing old carpet, carpet pad, carpet glue, ceramic tile and grout while replacing it with vinyl floors. There was a lot of fine debris that was left behind from sweeping the floors. The Dustbuster was able to suck up those fine particles with out any hesitation. In addition to the superior suction, the battery life on the Dustbuster lasted three 9 hour days of continuous usage before needing to be charged. So in the end, I am extremely happy with the Advanced Clean Dustbuster. Emptying it is so simple, you do not have to touch any of the debris that has been sucked up. The suction is so strong, it is by far more superior than a commercial car vacuum but gently enough for delicate fabric while grabbing fine particles left behind by a broom. I was gifted this Dustbuster by a family member and I love it! I have dogs and cats so I'm constantly trying to clean up their hair from everywhere. This has made my cleaning easier and faster. This works great on my stairs in-between the banisters, around my fireplace and by my sliding glass doors. The special head gets all the hair off my furniture with ease. It just stopped working. I’ve had it less than a year and I thought maybe it wasn’t fully charged each time I went to use it. So I made a point of trying to fully charge, it turns on and then shuts off immediately. I’ve had for a while but truly I use once a month mostly to just suck up crumbs in my couch. I absolutely love Black & Decker, but this handheld vacuum was average for me. It does pick up but you have to take your time with it. The suctioning isn't very powerful with this one. However, this would be great if it had a little more suction power. The battery life is excellent, it last for quite a while, a good couple of hours. I will say it is rather noisy, that's another thing I'd like to see redone. I do like how it comes with the brush head that you can pull up or down to help pick things up. It is very light weight, I don't have any issues there, it doesn't hurt my hand while using. There is a button on top to push that pulls the bottom piece off to empty and clean it. The filter is kept where you empty the container, very easy to pull apart and clean. However it does get dirty easy, any little bit of dirt will cause this to not suction as good. So it will need cleaned pretty frequently. Overall, it's alright, something to maybe keep for in the car. But I'd love to see the suction a little more powerful to pick up better, and the noise reduced some. I also probably wouldn't recommend, over one of their other vacuums.Peachy

After 2 weeks of use, I'm impressed. This looks stylish enough to plug in and just leave it out of the way in the kitchen (or wherever you prefer). It was surprisingly powerful and pleasantly quiet. The two speeds is a nice touch as well. My only critique is that the cover on the suction head going into the dust case is just a rubber flap that was just slid into a slot without being solidly attached to anything. This meant that it would sometimes come out of position either part way or totally. I liked this enough though that I wasn't going to let that be a deal breaker, so with a couple drops of Gorilla Glue it is now solidly anchored and I haven't had an issue since. The IRIS Portable Vacuum cleaner is a great choice for a portable vacuum, but it heavily depends on what you're looking for. For a dust-picker-upper, this device works absolute wonders. Being able to quickly uplift a place without plugging a single thing in is an absolute must have for me now. I make rugs in my freetime, and one of the reasons I wanted this item was to swipe up and clean little chunks of yarn off the floor quickly while I'm working. It works in that sense, where it's easy to clean those chunks up, but it fills up EXTREMELY fast. Generally it's not a problem for me, but it may be for others who don't want to constantly go to the trash can to empty the portable vacuum. The only other problem I've been running into is the battery life. In my unit, a charge only lasts about 15-20 minutes of constant use. Again, depending on your use for the vacuum, this may be what you're looking for, but the battery life is extremely essential to me. In all, the portable vacuum is an excellent choice depending on what you're looking for out of it, but it just wasn't the best choice for me.jackh
I know, who could love a vacuum? But it's true, I do! It's sleek, doesn't take up too much space, not heavy or awkward to use, attachments work great, and charges quickly. Now let me get to it, if you have a child in a car seat you NEED this. We all know how messy kids can be with their car snacks and maybe their car seat has seen better days. With this I had my son's seat looking great in just a couple minutes. The crevice tool made quick work of the crumbs stuck in the tight corners and lining of the padding. My home is all hardwood flooring so it's also nice to just use to "spot vacuum" when I don't feel like breaking out the big vacuum to get a few crushed crackers. Like I said, kid equal crumbs. The Craftsman V20 cordless handheld vacuum packs a punch for a handheld vac it’s pretty powerful and this sucker is heavy thanks to the V20 4.0 AH lithium battery (although the battery does not come with the box it’s sold separately) Compared to other handheld vac‘s this is definitely more powerful and works much better and of course convenience great for the car workshop stairsteps things of that nature you don’t want to lug around a vacuum or a shop vac. It had a great suction with a crevice tool although it didn’t come with any other attachments it really doesn’t need them. I was surprised it wasn’t obnoxiously loud and the canister was a decent size to hold in between emptying. I bought this product on Friday March the 11th (2022). That night I did a small test run and it worked fine then. Then I left it on the charger for 24 hours! After that I was using it to clean my car, then starts shutting off on me! I keep turning it on and off for while, and it just kept shutting off. I put it on the charger an hour and a half, then used it again, just to have it keep turning off on me again. I’ve charged this 3 times now, This is stupid! I literally just bought this thing! The slim design is nice looking and saves space. It seems like it is a little less noisy than other hand vacs that I own. The suction is adequate – it's great for picking up debris from tiles or wood or linoleum, not so much on carpet. The built in nozzle can be pulled out an inch or so and then widened to increase the size of the cleaning swath. I think that's pretty cool! It also comes with a crevice nozzle and a dust brush. The battery seems to last a good while. I have used it about a dozen times so far, for just a few seconds or maybe a minute or so at a time, and it have only had to charge it once. There is no battery life indicator light so I guess I'll know that it needs a recharge when the motor slows down or the battery just dies. The dirt cup is pretty small so it's not going to hold a ton of debris, but it's great for small messes. The dirt cup is super easy to remove (twist it off) and the filter can be cleaned. I keep this vacuum in my kitchen and it has been terrific for quickly grabbing and sucking up small, dry kitchen messes, and for picking up cat and dog food that my messy animals have dropped in the floor. This dustbuster is great for what it is. I mostly use it in the kitchen and nook area. I use it to clean up crumbs in and around the burners on my gas range, counter tops, table, and chairs. It also works great tackling dry food spills. It is small and light enough for my children to use when they drop cheerios on the rug. Fairly easy to operate with a slide button to power on and off. Fantastic product! I got the item today and I have used it all over the house to get in the crevices and baseboards. It is very easy to empty and easy to clean. It also came with an extra filter and a brush attachment and a crevices tool. It is smaller than I expected and it is so light I thought the box was empty. Those are definite pluses in my book. As I was pulling everything from the box, I noticed there wasn't anything to keep all the specialized tools in. So I reminded myself to not throw away the box and I could use that as the 'tool chest'. You might think this silly of me, but the coloring and the design of the vacuum make me think of a race car helmet. lol!! So, after letting it charge overnight for 8 hours, I unplugged it from the wall and clicked the power button. I was immediately assaulted with a nasty electrical smell, but thankfully it went away quickly. After the initial charge, I wasn't able to actually use the vacuum for a couple of days and was surprised that I needed to charge it again before I could use it. I charged it on Wednesday morning and by Saturday morning it needed to be charged again! Also, the charge only lasted 30 minutes of continuous use as I detailed my car and it needed to recharge for another 8 hours before it was ready to use again. But I have to say that this vacuum has a really powerful suction for something this small. Watching the dirt and debris swirl around in the clear tank is fascinating! I really liked using the motorized brush attachment and it worked well as long as I kept it on a level surface. The flexible crevice tool isn't quite as flexible as they show it to be on the box, but I like how I can use it to 'brush up' hair on the car carpet. The lighted crevice tool is pretty handy for getting under and between the seats, or even in the door handles. But it doesn't have quite the suction that the main vacuum has because of the smaller opening. Plus you have to remember to detach it from the specialty tool adapter as you go from one attachment to another because it will stay lit and use up the battery as long as it's attached.The dirt collection tank seems to hold quite a bit, as I never completely filled it to the "Full" line. And I haven't detailed my car for months! Opening the tank is as simple as pushing a button and it's very easy to remove the filter cup for cleaning. This little guy is awesome! I have 2 dogs and 1 cat, so pet hair is always all over the place. I never leave reviews but I had to for this one. I live in a small apartment and it gets in all the spaces that other machines can’t touch. Every corner and sofa leg is cleaned and being that my place is so small I don’t mind bending for a little bit to clean the areas. Also, I might add that I’m very disabled and this little guy is not heavy and works so much better than even the compact ones that include a stick. Bissell Auto-Mate Lithium-ion 14 V Cordless Hand Vacuum First, I’d like to state that they packed all the parts of the Auto-Mate lithium ion terrific in the box, everything was cushioned. The Bissell is a brilliant beautiful black and red and contains 6 pieces in total. It comes with the base unit,crevice tool,motorized brush,filter,LED Crevice tool and flexible crevice tool. The LED Crevice tool requires batteries, CR 1632 (batteries included). The filter cup is washable so it can be used over and over. It has a visible red charging light. The instructions illustrate solid green light for in use,charging is a blinking red light,low power will be a blinking red light, etc. All LED Light status are explained in the instructions. The Bissell requires an 8 hour charge before the first use. The attachments go on easy. The only part that requires a little attention is emptying out the dirt from the canister. You have to hold the vacuum and depress the release button to drop the dirt cup. Grab the filter tabs and pull to remove the dirt from the filter cup. It will snap right back into place when you finish emptying the dirt. The brush should also be taken apart and cleaned. Use a knife, coin or screwdriver to remove the brush roll. Remove the brush by turning counter clockwise. Remove brush, Clean it and put the brush back by turning clockwise to lock the brush in. The Bissell seems to do an excellent job in picking up dog hair. The brush attachment is excellent for cleaning dog here especially out of the vehicle. Bissell has thought of all the different places that dirt can hide and in with this vacuum has placed all different shaped attachments to get to the dirt even dirt that is trying to hide in small places. Additionally I like the fact that you can see inside the container that holds the dirt so you know when it is getting full and not just guess or having to open it up and check. Bissell recommend that you do not feel did your container all the way to the top before emptying. The user guide is exceptionally well written and seems to be able to explain how the bissell works, comes apart, what to look for in easy understandable English . Sometimes instructions are so convoluted I have a hard time understanding what they’re saying but in this user guide even I could understand. I would highly recommend this Bissell cleaner especially if you have a dog or catdenise

I bought this as I have several Einhell battery power tools and this uses the same Power X-Change batteries. Not bad at dust collection and the extension pipe is useful to convert it to an upright vacuum. Great addition so I have a vacuum for the small jobs to clean up the dust.Ian

There is a suction seal valve on the inside of the dirt collector. A small black flap and when buying suction related items, I always like to open it up and see where all the filters are, for cleaning purposes. And how easy they are to access. Pulling out the first filter and this flap came off. It has a nipple UT supposed to squeeze thru this little hole. And it's supposed to hold it and block the dirt from falling back out when u turn it over and the power is off, ur gonna lose all the dirt u just picked up. I tried for 2 hours to get the flap back in that little Slot and noise couldn't. In the future, it will come out frequently and fall off completely and IT WILL NEVER HOLD THE DIRT. IT WILL ALWAYS FALL OFF. WAY MORE HEADACHE THAN A CONVIENENCE. THATS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT OUR APPLIANCES R SUPPOSED TO DO.Benjamin
Don’t buy this! Just don’t! You’re better off lighting $40.00 on fire. The battery lasts all of 5 minutes and the suction power is pathetic. Even after cleaning the filter after each 5 minute use and testing the suction on several areas with light dust I realized the whole machine is a farce — it’s a $40.00 noise maker. I’m so embarrassed of myself for thinking this “middle tier” hand vacuum would work. If this one didn’t work, the cheaper one won’t either, so don’t waste your time. I've had my broom a few weeks. It does a descent job when used daily to clean up floor area. It has a good battery time and so far I have only recharged it following cleaning. It s mobility is good. When cleaning edges and corners it works best if you angle side brush into area. If there is an area rug it will also clean it with back snd forth motion. On the con side it is somewhat noisy. The little hair removal tool is clip attachable and falls off of handle (I leave it off). It cannot pick up debris at an angle near rug edges/floor (I l lift the rug to allow broom to rest on floor.).Overall I find it performs the job it was purchased for-daily cleaning of floor surfaces. It does make a difference and I do not need to utilize my bigger cleaner as often.MommaL

This vacuum is light weight and easy to use EXCEPT the on button is just above the button that opens the dirt container . Every time I vacuum, by accident, I open the dirt container and dirt goes everywhere! Its a mess! This happened to a couple people who tried to help me as well. What a horrible design error!!! Plus the dirt container is very small and needs to be emptied often…unless you vacuum with it open!! I purchased it because my health is failing and I needed something lightweight and easy to use.. Also the main opening in the floor portion totally plugs and the entire bottom piece needs to be taken apart and you need a bottle brush or a something long enough to push the plug of dust or whatever out of the elbow (which you can straighten). Its not difficult, but annoying and messy as well. I would never recommend this vacuum to anyone, its too much work and too much money for the horrible design. I love Shark products. I have been waiting for the TSV and for this vac to be back in stock. I purchased rose gold, blends well with a neutral palate. I still use my original upright Shark vacuum purchased from QVC (10 years) which is a beast at cleaning my tile, wood and carpet floors. I use a robot vac for 1/3 of my floors that are not heavily traveled. The top of the line name brand R- robo vact does a ok job, but it takes a long time and I needed a stick/handheld vac which I could use for small jobs in the kitchen, sunroom and run it over high traffic areas daily. It is quick and picks up well. It has a swivel head and lies down to get back and under furniture. The battery life last and I have never had trouble having is run out. This device is not a replacement for a quality upright vacuum. Nothing is. This vac is for small jobs, daily floor maintenance and I love it. You are able to buy a replacement battery from Shark if needed and I love that too. So many stick vacs end their battery life and you cant easily replace the battery. Not the case here, so this device will last a long time. The hand vac is handy (HaHa) for crevasse's, corners, and I have used the pet tool on my sofa and it does a great job with dog fur. The filter needs to be changed sometimes during a job based on how much stuff it has vacuumed up. I have not cleaned it yet, the manufacturer says to clean the filter monthly. Recommend this vacuum to help maintain clean floors especially in high traffic area and recommend it for any busy household.medicinewoman
This is the third Shark in our house (all different types), and I really do like them all. This is a very sleek, attractive design, light and easy to use, and the power is surprisingly good for such a small vacuum. I just have three things on my wish list for future improvements: 1. LED lights on the floor nozzle – I have gotten hooked on your LED lights, and it's the only way to see all the pet fur on hard floors. I was disappointed that this one didn't have the lights. 2. Better battery life – As others mentioned, the battery only lasts about 10 minutes. I read the reviews first and bought a spare, so it hasn't been a big deal thanks to the extra battery, but 10 minutes isn't very long. 3. A slightly larger dust cup would be good – I know the idea was to keep this sleek and light, but just a little bigger would make it more practical. With that said, it is a really nice little vacuum with good power, and the design is very sleek and attractive. Nice job, once again!

I would like to question the rated for pet(s) statement on the box. Maybe I should have read the fine print to see their definition of a pet. Apparently a German Shepard is not the pet they meant in pet rated…. It clogged after a couple of passes on a sofa. There is a rubber flapper on the inside canister where the particles are sucked in, however the dog hair gets caught and balled up behind that rubber piece. It took a lot of time unclogging balls of dog hair. I get it, I could vacuum and sweep every day with this critter of mine and still have dog hair! I thought that maybe, just maybe I could get a little reprieve in the endless cycle of a dog hair fiesta. This vacuum is like hiring a house cleaner, you have to pick everything up and clean before the keeper gets there. Also, if you don't have a German Shepard, I am sure this little vacuum would work great.Cami
I never leave reviews on anything but I have to for this one. First of all I am a huge fan of Shark products. I have the hard surface vacuum and the spin and scrub steam mop. I have owned them for several years. When I seen this vacuum in the store I compared to others but ended up buying this one because Shark has always been the best. I even got rid of my Bissell Crosswave to go back to the Shark. With that being said, I absolutely LOVE the suction this vacuum has. I bought it to use on my furniture, small messes around the house, and my car. When it works, its amazing! BUT the battery life SUCKS. I mean full charge and it might last 15 minutes. The instructions say it takes up to 3 charging sessions for the battery to "learn" its battery life. Well, evidently mine is hard headed because it hasnt learned yet. I came on here to see if a replacement battery would help, thinking I just got a bad battery with mine. After seeing all of the reviews about the battery I guess its just a faulty make on Sharks part. I wish they would fix this issue and offer a replacement since so many people have the same problem. I dont want to take it back because it does everything I expected it would. it just takes all day to get it done because of the battery dying.STEPHANIE
This is the worse Shark handheld vacuum I ever owned from Shark. The opening is way to small and clogs up easily and it doesn't hold a charge as long as specified and the dust catcher is is very minimal . I have bought many shark products in the past 10 yrs, I'm talking handhelds, (which only last till warranty runs out) but they do get the job done. Same way with steam cleaners, I've bought 2 and warranty expired, they just quit working. This time I went with a different brand, have to wait and see how it does. Now as to their upright vacuums, I am still using the same one I've had for over 10 yrs and works like a charm. Here lately their products seem to be going down hill. I plan to send an email to the company in regards to this last purchase, because this vacuum is a piece of crap. This is my reveiw, late but still got it off my chest after trying to clean up a mess and it won't pick up, because clogged again.
