20 Best Detangler For Fine Hair (Jan 2023 Update)

I enjoyed this entire line, and especially the conditioner. It’s smells great and does a fair job at moisturizing- definitely a great choice for people with hair that would ideally use regular tea tree shampoo, but can’t due to how drying it can be. The reason it’s receiving less than 5 stars is primarily for the fact that even though I have little bad to say about it, I only used it 5 or so times before I was craving my favorites, and letting my husband finish the Paul Mitchell bottles. He also liked it! Said the smell was great and his hair felt clean and soft. But when it ran out I asked if he wanted a new supply and he opted to just go back to his previous pick as well. I feel like overall it’s nice, but overpriced and a little mediocre. Also this is a little unrelated, but the more I realize how little Paul Mitchell cares to prevent their product from being diverted the less I care to try their products in the future. It seems like the statements they release on the topic are an act and they just at the end of the day care about the bottom line. I bought this at Ulta at the end of September, 2022. It's a thick yellow liquid. It felt like my hair had wax on it in the shower, but it dried beautifully. I have untreated, long, blond hair. The strands glide off each other. My hair strands look thinner than before, but all muddiness is gone. My hair is much shinier, blonder, and smooth. I don't care for the scent but I can live with it. No hairs in my brush either. I rewashed after three days with the same results. No oiliness from the product. I'll buy again.Elizabeth

This item was not packed well and exploded in the package. Conditioner everywhere! I tried to return to Walmart but they told me to contact the seller. The seller requested photos, which I sent, and then I never heard from him again. I contacted him once more to see if I could get a refund and never heard a word. We own a Newfoundland that loves the water. Last week of June we had a hot spell where temps were in the 90s consistently for days. Nights were humid. Trying to make sure all our dogs had plenty of water, we neglected to do a brush out at night under our Newfies chin and around his ears. Consequently mats formed over the hot days with areas not drying completely which made the mats worse. Mane n tail was recommended, it does work with smaller mats, I spent several moments every day working on the larger mats, following the directions, with very little success. We learned a valuable lesson with our Newfs fur and what we need to do better. Ended up cutting the larger mats to a smaller size, then applying Mane n Tail working on the smaller size mats. Our Newf was very patient but would only hold still for 1015 minutes provided I moved to different areas on his chin, chest and ears. Chewys delivery was great, smell of the product was fine. Its not a miracle mat untangler, also depends on the kind of fur being untangled. Works much better on our Great Pyrenees fur than our Newfie fur.Anonymous

Just purchased this detangler and Im in love. Ive tried so many different detangler products, all of which have left me in rage mode, frustrated beyond belief. I have long down to my booty, extremely thick, color treated, super wavy hair. A recipe for disaster. No exaggeration it usually takes me a half hour to brush my hair out, and its typically a painful irritating process. Not anymore I spray a liberal amount of this miracle spray into my hair, allow it to saturate for a few minutes, and brush out my tangles with ease, in no time I doubt Ill try anything else. Full disclosure: my hair was very damaged when I started using this. I've used a number of dry/damaged hair care systems trying to repair it. After using these products, the healthy bits looked amazing, but the severely damaged part was so obvious, I decided to chop it off and start over. First impressions, the packaging is very attractive. I cleaned off a shelf in my shower to display the bottles. The lids open easily and pour cleanly. I used the detangling solution a few different ways: as a conditioner paired with the shampoo, as a leave-in applied to very wet hair immediately after washing, and as a leave-in applied to well towel-dried hair. It performed well in all situations, but I think my favorite is to use it as a conditioner. It is recommended for finer hair, like mine. My damaged hair knotted very easily, and this helped quite a bit with comb-out without lots of additional breakage. With my new, short cut, I like it as a styling leave-in, to help with fly-aways.catherine.o

I have an 8 year old daughter who has one of the thickest head of hair that I have ever seen. On top of that, she sleeps like a wild woman, so her hair gets extremely tangled. I had her try this detangling solution after using the matching shampoo. We followed the steps to let it soak and then rinsed. Her hair brushed through like butter yall. For the first time like ever we brushed her hair without any pain or discomfort. Typically brushing her hair was a huge ordeal and we both dreaded that part of the day. I will 100% be buying more of this product as soon as we start to run low. It can be used in addition to the conditioning balm, but to be honest it works wonderful on its own (after shampooing of course). It has the classic scent we all know and love from Biolage which is a huge selling point for me as i adore that smell. it reminds me of my childhood.samantha.f

I have a few issues with this product. The instructions on the back aren't helpful on when it's best to use this detangling solution. The instructions are basically the same for the detangling solution and the conditioner, which both say to use after the shampoo. So, is it better to use the detangler before or after conditioner? Or use the detangler instead of the conditioner? Also, Biolage designed the shampoo and conditioner to have different color caps. This was helpful in the shower so you didn't have to read the front of the bottle to know which one you needed to grab. However, the conditioner and detangling solution have the exact same cap. It would have been helpful to have a different color cap for the detangling solution as well. Those are only the design flaws I saw. The cap isn't a big deal but knowing when to use the detangling solution would've been helpful. My hair does not tangle easily and my opinion amount it's performance wouldn't be helpful. So instead, my financee with her finer, easily-tangling hair tried the detangling solution. She tried it at the end of her shower routine. She didn't notice a difference compared to her normal routine. She still had to use her detangling brush and the detangling solution didn't seem to affect how much she had to brush out the tangles. Overall, this detangling solution had a good fresh scent, but didn't have clear instructions and didn't work on my financee's hair. This product may help other people, but it didn't help her.sarah.j

If I could give this zero start I would. It left a sticky residue on ny hair that actually added to my tangle problem – I had to rewash it. Tried again a couple of weeks later just to see if I'd imagined it. Nope. Once hair had dried I could hardly get a combination though it and hair had a horrible tacky film on it. It's a three for three terrible review for DE's hair products; their shampoo and conditioner resulted in weeping sores on my scalp and hair that felt gross. I’ve been using this product for about two years now and will never stop! I naturally have lots of fine, delicate and curly hair which gets damaged easily when wet. Prior to using this product, I suffered from major breakage issues when attempting to detangle my hair. However, this spray has been a game changer! It hydrates my hair without making it greasy or oily, makes it easy for a brush or comb to pass through and has the added bonus of heat protection! The only drawback is that if you have a lot of hair, it isn’t a terribly long- lasting product.Icecream2

This is a product I would never have looked at, assuming that Marula would be too heavy for my fine coloured hair and preferring to stick to specialist hair companies rather than a diversification from a skincare brand. However, having been professionally diagnosed with various ingredient allergies I’m having to be very careful as o the products I use. Since then I have suffered and struggled with knotted hair on a daily basis as all the products I would have used for de-tangling and so forth contains ingredients I can no longer use. Then I found this. AMAZING. It works. It’s not fancy, its a sensible price point and does what it says, leaving my fine dry hair, soft, shiny and tangle free. This is an amazing product! I have tried several other detanglers and nothing compares to this product. This product was recommended by my daughter’s stylist for her hair and it works! My daughter has fine, medium density hair and it gets tangled very easily. She used to run away when I had to brush her hair and that ended when I started applying this product to her hair. I wash her hair with shampoo, but don’t always use conditioner. I towel dry her hair and apply 4-5 pumps to her hair and, voila! The brush () slides through with a little effort, but no tears. I let her hair air dry and it is still manageable in the morning. I highly recommend this product, but also warn that it has a strong scent.kate.c

Leave it to someone who’s tried literally every single detangler/leave in on the market. Unite has really impressed me (as the price is not exactly cheap—but, that’s okay) and I can confidently say I won’t be switching or searching for a every day staple detangler anymore—I’ve found herrrrrr! I have curly but super thin hair, and with post partum hair loss, products can be kind of heavy. I was using the Color Wow spray, but the nozzle let out too much product and it was easy to over do it. The plus to this product is the nice mister spray. The nozzle lets me spray just the right amount on my hair to help avoid getting too much product on, but just enough to allow it to work its magic. I tend to have dry hair, and this leave my hair really smooth and silky. As for the scent, I actually haven't noticed anything overpowering about it. If you are on the fence about it, try it. It has been worth it to me, lots of the same benefits I saw with the Color Wow Spray but my hair feels more put together and fly always are noticeably calmer.Claudia1322

Ok, again, this might be long. Sorry. I am 47 and have Hashimoto’s. I have fine, thin hair that, thanks to my illness, is slow to grow and easily damaged. I once had hair to my behind but hashimoto’s left me with ever shrinking, thinning, horribly damaged hair that got shorter with every trim. It was above my shoulders when I finally got desperate for a solution. It took two years but I now have a routine that has given me healthier, growing hair again. So, as you can imagine, I’m reluctant to change any part of it. But for the past week I switched my routine fully to only the pureology products I was sent for review. Now as one might see in my reviews of the shampoo and conditioner in this line, I didn’t hate the shampoo and conditioner but I wasn’t a fan either. However, this leave in conditioner, I would say, is the star of the line. It was pleasantly scented and was able to reduce the overwhelming peppermint scent left behind by the conditioner. It did what it’s meant to do. It is the product that left my hair feeling soft, and left it looking shiny and healthy. I would buy this part if the system again. And, once I used this with my normal routine I could see that it worked well on its own and did indeed help to hydrate and condition my hair and my hair did not get super oily, fast using only this part of the system. I did receive this product free in exchange for my review. That being said all thoughts and opinions are my own. It has a relatively thin, for conditioner, and slippery feel to it on the hands. It is lightly scented but nothing overpowering. I don't feel the scent really lingered on my hair after drying. The days I used this my hair was definitely smoother and softer compared to my normal styling products. That being said I feel this leave in caused some build up issues for me. I have very fine, wavy hair that is super prone to build up. My hair is also quite easily weighed down. This leave in didn't initially weigh my hair down which impressed me since leave in conditioners tend to do so. However after several days of use my hair started to look weighed down, a bit dirty immediately after washing and styling and it lost most of its wave. I did a clarifying wash which corrected the problem. This leave in does have a few silicones (amodimethicone, dimethicone and dimethiconol) and silicones tend to cause build up issues with my hair. If you are someone who can typically use silicones without any issues I would not expect this product to cause any build up issues for you. Overall this is a good product and I would generally recommend it. I would advise caution though if your hair doesn't tend to play nicely with silicones and/or if your hair is especially prone to build up.NamelessAria

I am writing this after using this product the first time. My daughter is 4 with hair halfway down her back. She hates getting it brushed. I have tried expensive leave ins and conditioners, but she always fusses when I brush her hair. Just a few sprays of this in her hair and it was so much easier to brush through. Probably cut the brushing time in half and no more tears.Steph

I've used this bottle four times and on the fifth go the pump broke. I haven't even had a chance to use it enough times to give a thorough review of the actual product or a chance to use it on my toddlers curls. A couple things I can say. It didn't weigh down my curls. I'm not super confident it's providing any real moisture to them though. Maybe my pump breaking was just a one off but having a finger pump on such a large bottle is a terrible design in my opinion. It will not be a repurchase now that I have to go purchase a spray bottle in to try to use it up with a grudge and it's definitely not a 'miracle' product.Jacki

As soon as I accidentally ran out my hair became dry, uncomfortable and wasn't itself at all. Especially from the pool and the sun. I have extremely thick, curly/wavy hair with a bad frizziness problem and my curls never wanting to look and be their natural, beautiful, individual selves. I tried Bumble & Bumble Hair Dresser’s Oil for a couple months and never really achieved any results, air drying or blow drying. When my hair dried completely it was still a frizzy mess. Love the scent. Texture is so different from any leave-in/detangler I’ve used. Super thick and shiny reminds me of vasoline or petroleum jelly but strangely feels light when applied. I absolutely loved this detangler. Usually after conditioning and before styling, I need that extra something in my hair that leaves it moisturizing and tangle free and I felt like this product did just the thing! Since I have low porosity hair, products tend to sit on top of my strands but I felt like this did a great job saturating my hair pretty quickly. I received my full size sample of the leave in conditioner. my hair is shoulder length, thick and curly. this was my first time trying and was so nauseous with the "scent". Not only did it smell horrible but left my hair so greasy and the next day knotted. I usually wash my hair every 3-4 days, as it is highlighted, but I had to wash my hair the very next day to just get the smell out. Maybe this is not for me, but my honest opinion is I would definitely not recommend the leave in to anyone with highlighted hair, or color treated for that matter.jessica.b

I love that this can be used on wet or dry hair. I have very fine, blonde color treated hair and it can end up straw like and dehydrated, I just mist this product on and gently pull it through and it totally closes the cuticle and gets rid of all the extra frizz. Also love that it doesn’t make my hair stringy like most hair oils that are anti frizz would do. As someone who used to use straight apple cider vinegar to wash her hair the smell doesn’t bother me at all, but I prefer natural ingredients over chemical type smells any day.ohio1j

I have been desperate to make my hair lovely with the long absence of the awesome hairdressers… so thought I’d invest in some good products. I had high hopes for this de tangler. I have thick damaged hair and was hoping this may take away the frizz and smooth it out. My hair is definitely easier to brush, but it’s definitely not smooth and silky and doesn’t really feel much different to normal. The product smells really vinegary too which is a big put off. This product is a lifesaver for my long, thick hair that frequently gets tangled. Without this detangler, my brush tugs on my hair and pulls out the entire knotted section, causing lots of breakage and split ends. With this detangler, my brush glides smoothly down the strands and I hardly lose any hair. Not only does it get rid of any tangles, but it also makes my hair feel soft and silky and protects my hair from damage when I use heated hair tools. I have very long fine hair that is bleached, so when my hair is super tangly, this directly causes breakage. I noticed that when I use purple shampoo to maintain my blonde color, my hair is significantly drier and more prone to being tangled. I decided to put this product to the test after washing my hair with purple shampoo. I sprayed a liberal amount on my wet hair and began to brush it slowly starting with the ends and moving my way up towards the root. Almost immediately I was able to see the difference in how quick my hair was detangling. In addition, I find myself reaching for this product way more than any other detangling product because it also protects your hair from heat. Before, I would use two separate products for detangling and heat protectant, but now it's more simple using this 2-in-1 product. This saves me time and simplifies my routine. PROS: This spray smells so pretty, and it does not weigh hair down or make it clumpy while blowdrying. My hair is dry, fine, and color treated, and I feel that this product does protect my strands from being fried while heat styling. However, the CONS are: not very moisturizing, not very noticeable, pricey. When I spray a treatment on, I like my hair to actually feel healthier to the touch as a result. This spray does not do that. I think that it is literally supposed to act as a barrier to heat styling and nothing more, which is fine. I'm a fan of Kenra products however, this did not make my list. It did it's job by detangling and it smells great but it did dry my hair out which I thought was a a bit strange for a detangler. I stopped using it and my hair returned to its soft and wavy condition. I decided to try it again and my hair was dried out and felt as if I had mousse in it. And that was on a humid day. I think this product would work best on someone with thicker or a lot of hair. Will be returning.Becca

My hair type is frizzy/curly slightly dry at the ends. I use this product for a refresher. I find it more like a fragrance for your hair more than anything. If you have dry thick hair I don't think this will do much, but using it on styled hair as a finisher for fragrance is perfect! Product works great, hair is softer and less tangled; but the smell…it's TERRIBLE. Like a mix of citronella and bug spray and old lady perfume. And it doesn't go away after drying. If you're scent sensitive, this may not be right for you.Stinky

I have used this product since I was 16 years old. I have fine and easily knotted hair. I am now much, much older. Your first container was slender and round, it had a woman and child on it. Your second container was white and had ridges on the upper portion of the bottle. That was fine. This current bottle is made for a a huge man hand and is hard for a smaller hand to put around it. Please change the container unless you think only big, burly men are the only ones using this product. If this was user-friendly, I think more would use the product. I’m obsessed with this detangling spray for my son! It smells great, it’s easy to use, and it works well! My son has longer, shaggy hair just like his father and this stuff is great for preventing tangles and helping his hair stay smooth, silky, and shiny. AND THE SMELL! I love how “clean” it makes my son’s hair smell. So good. I will say the plastic top on the bottle can break easily which essentially renders the whole entire bottle unusable (unless you’ve got another spray bottle on hand to pour it in) and that can be annoying if you accidentally drop it – but it’s not Johnson’s fault that I’m clumsy! I recently purchased this product from Target after someone recommended it. I am African American with curly textured hair and was a little skeptical if it would work for my hair. I was pleasantly surprised. It not only worked beautifully in detangling my hair after using the vegan silk shampoo and conditioner, but it softened and moisturized my curls that lasted days later. It smells great. My only complaint is the spray pump. It was almost as if the product was too thick to spray, which is strange because the product itself isn't that thick. Just recently I have been changing all of my hair products. Staying away from silicones have made a difference on my scalp and hair. Best way to use this is to pump the leave in conditioner on your hand and rub it with the other hand before putting it on your damp hair. Comb in through and blow dry. My scalp isn't itchy anymore and my hair is soft and manageable. Look up this product on EWG. It works for me. My hair is highlighted and easily prone to breakage.Judy

I’m not sure why this product has so many bad reviews – it’s amazing!! Quick backstory, my little sister has curly hair but the rest of us don’t. We didn’t know how to take care of her hair and she would get these giant knots that we couldn’t detangle and we had to cut the knots out after hours of trying (and crying). Her hair went from mid-back length to shoulder length and for curly hair that’s a LOT of hair that was cut thanks to our inexperience with curly hair knots. It was terrible. I made a vow that never again! I did research and found this brand and decided to give the detangler a try. It was amazing for us!! My little sister’s hair is healthy and we have NEVER had to cut her knots out again! I always make sure we have a bottle and a backup one just in case when it comes to hair washing day For reference, we’re Hispanic and she has curly hair. Her curls aren’t tight but they’re defined. I started purchasing it for her when she was 6 (she’s 9 now!) and it’s been great for us! Pacifica has been our go-to brand for her hair and her hair looks gorgeous now. We always buy her shampoos, conditioners, and detanglers from this brand and have had no issues with her hair. This detangler will get those knots out guaranteed!! Since she’s still young and doesn’t know how to take care of her hair here’s what we do: wash it with shampoo once, condition it with emphasis on the mid to ends of her hair, spray it with the detangler and work it in by spreading it downwards with our fingers, then gently detangle with fingers with tighter knots and use a wooden brush to gently detangle the rest (spraying more detangler if needed), after that we go in with a curl defining product. That’s it! No crying at all from my sister (sometimes she doesn’t even notice if we had to work knots out! That’s how nice it is) and it doesn’t take long for us. 100% recommend this product if you’re trying to learn to take care of curly hair. I don’t have curly hair personally but we’ve used it on my god sister, who has thin straight hair, and it also worked great!!Ashley

I LOVE this detangler spray and so does my 7y year old. She has long, wavy hair that tangles faster than you can imagine. she is constantly moving, so her hair is ALWAYS getting knotted up. She has always cried when getting her hair combed. I have tried so many products, from cheap to VERY expensive to find a product that works like this one!!! After only a few days of using this product, her hair doesn't seem to knot up as easily and the tangles she does get comb out with ease. My 4 year old daughter has terribly tangle prone hair. We have tried a couple of other detangle products with not much luck. Brushing her hair has always been a daily battle. But this stuff is amazing! It works so well – I was able to brush almost completely through her hair after spraying it on with almost no effort. I bought this detangler, the shampoo and conditioner for 130$ (I had a discount code) the price tag is WAY to high for what your getting. I get better results with redken or nexxus and for this price you get the largest bottle. I thought this could be a contender but the product it’s self does not justify the price. For the record I have long brown wavy hair. It works about as well at Giovanni products that you get at tj maxx for 10$. I feel like your mainly paying for the packaging which is beautiful btw. There’s just not enough product and it doesn’t work well enough for this to be a consistent buy. This is definitely not for thin hair or straight hair as the product is heavy.hiltz678

This stuff is AAHHHHMAAAZZING!! I literally bought the shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and blow out cream as a heat protector for blowdrying my hair. I'm an African American woman. I don't know what my curl pattern is. It's a loose curl pattern and my hair is fine and thinning in some areas. I wanted to try a luxury shampoo and invest in a product line for healthier hair. I will spend the next three months using this product line to see how my hair truly likes it. The leave in smells amazing. I don't smell the wet dog smell people are talking about and I have two dogs. Maybe these are the people who don't like cilantro because it taste like soap too. I'm a 28 year old African-American female with relaxed hair (naturally it's very kinky/coily/afro). I don't heat style. After cleansing, I throw in four Dutch style braids, wrap my head in a silk scarf and go to bed. When I wake up, I take out the braids, "fluff" it to blend the sections and off I go. Very minimalist and time sensitive. When I received my Dermstore shipment of Oribe products – Priming Lotion, Curl Gelee and Styling Butter I was impressed by the beautiful boxes they came in (they're recycled from well managed forests and the writing is in vegetable ink); the bottles are beautiful too (you will want to keep and reuse); the smell is very pleasant, it's not over powering and nothing like you've smelled before. When I first applied it to my hair, I was NOT impressed, my hair didn't react like the lotion provided much "slip" like I would expect a detangling lotion to do. However, I was able to comb it through and continued to do my usual hair care regimen and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning and took down the braids, I had THE softest, shiniest, most defined curls I have ever had! I've used countless other brands in various forms (masques, treatments etc.) and while some have worked better than others, they've all left something to be desired. This stuff left nothing to be desired. My hair was perfect and ready for the day. No flakes, no residue, no crunch – just flawless, soft, BOUNCY, beachy curls. I'm hooked!Anonymous

I have used the smooth mask from the same brand first. After shower i use the leave in shampoo. I used it twice already. My hair seems more lively and shinny. I intend to use it on dry hair as well. The size is big enough and will probably last long time. Very happy with the product.iHerb Customer

For this price the truth is that I expected more surprising results. I don't notice any positive difference between using it and not using it, I think my hair looks better if I don't use it, and that's why right now it's collecting dust in a drawer. Keep in mind that my hair is bleached and colored, but despite that it is very healthy. I think the problem is that this product contains protein and my hair is low porosity, so protein just doesn't do my hair any good and makes it look worse. If your hair is high porosity (if you stick a hair strand in a glass of water and your hair sinks) then this product might be worth it for you.iHerb Customer

I absolutely love, love, love Lolavie’s glossing detangler, perfecting leave-in, and lightweight hair oil! They leave my hair feeling super soft, well protected, and smelling great! My hairdresser has even noticed an improvement in the health of my hair. Unfortunately, the shampoo and conditioner don’t work very well with my hair type. I have very fine hair that I wash every other day. When I use the Lolavie shampoo and conditioner, my hair doesn’t stay as clean for as long and I end up having to wash it everyday or spritz it with a dry shampoo. I’m not sure why, maybe there’s an ingredient in there that’s a bit too heavy for my hair. ‍♀ Plus, the square bottles are a bit awkward to squeeze. BUT the detangler, leave-in, and oil have become staples in my hair care routine. Thank you for making such brilliant products!Kristen G.

OMGoodness the glossing detangler is THE BEST detangler I have ever used and that is saying something. I am 47, have very fine, long, straight hair that literally tangles up the minute you finish running a large-toothed comb through it. I have tried so many detanglers over the years, this is by far the best. Also, it smells lovely and is not overpowering at all, massive bonus points for good ingredients. Never in my life have I been able to wake up and comb through my hair in the morning without a single issue. I wear an N-95 mask at work and in public, so far I have had no issue whatsoever. I cannot say that about any of the previous, and more expensive, detanglers I have tried. It is a pretty windy day today in Seattle, normally my ponytail would be a huge, snarled knot after running errands and walking about- not so today! I am so very thankful for this detangler, it is AWESOME! Good grief I am indeed fangirling a bit… I do spray 2-3 sprays into my hand first, then apply to hair as fine hair always tends to look funky (not the good funky) when you spray product directly onto the hair. This is along review. I have dirty dishwater color (why is THIS the only color that is derogatory…discussion for another day) fine, slightly curly hair. I have always had frizzy hair no matter what color I changed it to, or now, au natural. When I was young my mother would put V05 (You could smell it in my hair yuk) to tame my hair (living on east coast, so lots of humidity). So in SoCal it is dry often but I still had the frizzy type curls. I have so many partial bottles of hair products that say they will calm my frizz, and when I want to, tame the curls. For many, many, many years (wait decades!) trying products on their own and mixing them together but nothing ever worked consistently. Then I heard about Lolavie Glossing Detangler spray. And I thought, just another actress touting a product, probably doesn't work (I apologize now to Ms. Aniston). But then I remembered that Ms. Aniston has some Greek curls and she too likes to tame them. (Im 1/2 Italian) So hmmm….ok, I'll try it, but it probably won't work I think as I'm punching in my payment, hmmm…not high priced, well considering what I've spent over the last few decades I can always give it away if it doesn't work. So I tried it, and wow it worked great the first time, smelled great (in that the smell is not overpowering where someone might notice). Then I used it again, & again, & again, & again, & again…well you get the picture. This wonderful, wonderful spray has cured my problems with stying my hair! ONE PRODUCT!!!! Lolavie Glossing Detangler! Awesome, beyond awesome. I've used a little bit, a lot, on wet hair, slightly wet hair, almost air dried hair (told you I TRIED it) & it styles out perfectly almost every time (at this point it's user error if it doesn't; o). I now have only ONE product and it works! I'm on my second bottle, which brings me to another reason why I like this product. When I finally used all my spray in the 1st bottle I figured there would probably be alot left in the bottom because previous products I encountered never properly sprayed all the product out. But Lolavie Glossing Detangler was good to the last drop (sorry, bad pun but truth of product). I mean it this is awesome for 64 year old hair (told you, decades) that has been permed (bad) bleached white/blond, (it was the 80's) highlights, low lights, menopause…ok maybe TMI. And I almost never write reviews maybe 1% of all my purchases have I reviewed. I only take the time to write a review when my experience might help someone take care of something that they have been trying. I bought this for my neice coming to visit me. She always wants in my professional hair stuff…. So becayse she's so young I went out and grabbed her own "product" for her to keep at my house. She lived the smell..and felt like a big kid gwtting to help her hairdresser Auntie help do her hair!! It is not sticky or tacky. When this runs out… I will definitely buy another for her bc she us so young. 3 stars just bc its a johnson product and not a trye professional hair care product. Good luck! This product was on sale and so i bought this instead of what i ususally buy. This product smells pretty good not exactly like strawberries but still really sweet! My girls really like the color of the bottle and it is a little bit easier to hold the bottle with the ripples on the side but is off set buy how flat the bottle is. The spray just shoots out and only mists a little making it difficult to work with. Because of the spray i wont be buying this product again; i makes only chuncks of her hair wet instead dampening her hair like i need. The formula is nice and helps with detangling hair so i will only be using the rest of this product as backup.heaven.r

My son has really long, thick, and curly hair. He is also severely autistic and can’t stand the sound or feel of his hair being cut. (It take at least two adults 3 hours). Since it is not always in the cards to cut his hair we use this so we can brush it with the least amount of problems. I have tried several other brands as well as leave in conditioner this is the only thing that works. He even loves to have it sprayed on his head. When he gets out of the shower and first thing in the morning he will bring it to me. I would recommend that anyone in the same circumstances or with a hair type like his use this product it is awesome . I added a picture of him from the back it does not smooth his hair but it tames iterica.l

I was one of the lucky people who got chosen to participate in the #florencepanel where we leave an honest review for the free sample we received by Florence by Mills. The No Drama Leave-In Detangling Spray actually works just as well as other detanglers I've tried. What gives it a positive edge is that it's vegan and didn't leave my hair or hands sticky. The directions say to use on damp hair but I tried with both damp and dry and it worked just as well both ways. I also paired it with the Mane Character Vibes Hydrating Hair Mask and it left my hair so incredibly soft. I would say the only down side (for me personally) was that I wasn't in love with the scent. I really couldn't figure out why I didn't like it because it wasn't necessarily bad but it wasn't my favorite scent. I still really liked it overall though.Ashleigh

Hair type: oily I've been having one of the best hair days I've had in a while! I used both of these products together, so I will post both of the reviews together. I was provided a free smile by Florence by Mills to write an honest review. (Received product on Sept 30) The Mane Character Vibes hair mask is great. I only used it in the bottom half of by hair for 5 mins, avoiding roots/scalp area since I have an oilier hair type. It smelled amazing, like a juicy watermelon scent. It reminded me of a product very similar to something they use at the salon where I get my hair done, and I think this product is more cost effective than buying the one from my salon. I think it really did hydrate and smooth my hair, usually when I wake up my hair is frizzy even with a satin pillowcase, but not today. My only suggestion is to use a little more than I did, I used a glob the size of how much moisturizer I put on my face. Seeing as my hair is long but not super long, I could probably do a little more next time. I give it a 9/10, still seems a little expensive to me. But it would be a great splurge, and at 5 ounces, will last you a while! I used also used this in conjunction with the No Drama detangling spray. As for the No Drama detangling spray, I think it worked well. I loved its floral rosy scent. To apply, I flipped my head over to avoid spraying my scalp and did maybe 5 sprays. It has a nice mist to it. Then I sort of scrunched it in, flipped my head back up, and used a wide toothed comb I had (similar to the one Florence came out with) to brush it through. I had no major tangling problems, and brushing took less time than it normally does with my wet brush. While being a detangler, this product also conditions and protects your hair. It reminds me of a hair elixir my local salon sells that does the same things, and the prices are about the same. I rate this 8/10, hard to tell if it helped with detangling since I usually use a brush, but I liked the scent and other benefits. A good splurge product.Emily T

Really loving this detangling spray!! It says to spray on hair and comb through, but I sprayed into my hands, ran them through my hair and then combed. Worked great!! The ends of my hair really feel extra-soft, and my hair is shinier. I like the smell of the product, too. Very fresh and feminine! My sample isn't gone yet, as a little goes a long way, but I've already placed an order for the full-sized bottle. Very excited to have this in my haircare collection!!
