Best Dry Shampoo For Balayage Hair (2025 Update)

I was hesitant about trying the hair care products. My hair tends to absorb products, leaving my hair looking dull and feeling heavy. I also have sensitive skin and using new products, even salon grade, irritates my scalp. I got this free when I purchased the LeVolume Play (which I absolutely love) and I really like this dry shampoo. It’s very light and leaves my hair feeling soft. And also provides some texture without feeling sticky, even on day 2 and sometimes day 3 hair. I use it to add volume and texture when styling clean hair too.Alicia H.

I wanted to love this dry shampoo. I love all the other products I use from Lange. However I am not crazy about this. It feels more like a hairspray mist – it does not make my hair feel crunchy like hairspray – but the spray itself, is like a thin wet spray. So much so, that I actually opened my 2nd bottle because I thought maybe my 1st one was faulty. So I feel like it doesn't give me volume like a more 'powdery' thick dry shampoo does. I'm not even sure it takes away oiliness from my hair. I don't know. I'm not a fan. If you're looking for a spray dry shampoo that does not leave a white residue, this one could be it. But for me, I'd prefer one that is more powdery and thick to give me the volume & thickness I love. I'm not saying it's terrible, it's just not my preference for dry shampoo.Ruth H.

I’ve tried many other brands of dry shampoo and this one takes 1st place. It is light enough to not build up on my hair and still work wonders for all non-wash days. Zero visible residue or “powdery” effect when you use it. Although you can buy bigger bottles in other brands – you will never notice the bottle size difference with L’ange because you use far less and still get fantastic results. (For context, I have fine straight Asian hair that I wash every ~3 or 4 days. In dry shampoos, I look for dark hair-specific dry shampoos that add volume to my roots on the days I don't wash it.) I had really good experiences with Verb's Dry Conditioner Oil and Weightless Hair Oil, and when my holy grail dry shampoo (Batiste Divine Dark Dry Shampoo) was running out, I decided to go out on a whim to try this out, thinking I would have equally great experiences. I was wrong! I used this dry shampoo on second day hair, and while it left my hair feeling clean, it did nothing to add volume. It left my scalp in a weird in-between where it looked clean and not oily, but thin and limp. I don't usually spray dry shampoo on consecutive days (usually one douse of dry shampoo is good to last me for a few days), but I found myself grabbing for my old Batiste spray. Maybe I’m just used to the drug store dry shampoos, but I truly cannot feel this in my hair, in the best way. I have dirty blonde hair but this truly doesn’t leave a white cast on my hair despite it being kinda dark at the root. It gives just enough of a refresh (be proactive with it, it won’t save greasey greasey hair). I use it with the dry oil from verb on my ends to help smooth them out and it works amazing to help me go longer between washes. Also of note the nozzle on this is awesome, sprays out just enough, never too crazy, and has a nice dispersion. The scent is not my personal favourite (ouai still wins in that department), it’s a light powdery scent, it’s not overpowering or off putting at all and I can’t really smell it after about 30 mins. I brush my hair well to distribute the oil a little bit then I spray it in at the roots, and let it sit while I do something else for a little bit then brush it through and it feels light and clean, doesn’t get the weird waxy feeling that batiste tends to give. First of all if you need shampoo you need this product. It is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G -My hair: thin, straight as an arrow, dry. I live in the AZ desert most the time, the water is terrible, the UV rays bad, the humidity is basically 0% – I have color treated long straight hair. If I didn't find this product I am unsure I would have as thick of hair, definitely not as long of hair. This extends the time between washes A LOT, it has a luxurious smell like NO OTHER dry shampoos in the world, and I have tried everything. The texture of this is SO light and so FRESH. You do feel like you get a wash in by using this – it doesn't add a sheen that some dry shampoos do that make it look oily. This helps give my hair volume as well, which I need. I wish this was cheaper I really do, but its a MUST have for me. I actually order the light tone even though my base is a darker brunette, I tried the brunette tone but I didn't like it as much, it seemed too flat of a tone for my hair, this one does look at little powdery at first in the lighter tone for my hair color but it absorbs quickly and blends in better than the other tone for me.holly.g

I have blonde fine hair. This dry shampoo is the absolute BEST thing ive ever used. I apply it the day after i was my hair and for the next 2-3 days (i wash my hair like twice a week) i dont have to re-touch it at all. It doesnt make my hair feel dirty, it doesnt cake up my hair and sit ontop of my hair, and I RARELY ever have to reapply it every day up until my wash. Ive tried so many dry shampoos from the drugstore and high end as well (amika, living proof, dry bar) and those suck compared to this one. When I had this dry shampoo I took it for granted. I assumed all dry shampoos were this good of quality. However after switching to the IGK, I realized that other dry shampoos such as the IGK leave white flake-like residue that looks like dandruff! That’s a nightmare, especially if you have dark hair! The Moroccan oil dry shampoo is amazing. Number 1- it does what it advertises; makes hair look incredibly clean. Number 2- no terrible white dust in your hair. So in love with this product. Not only that it gives you a few days before washing your hair again but it also gives you a little colour to cover up that grey before your next colour. It’s easy to maintain when styling your hair. Easy to wash out. But one thing I discovered is don’t touch your hair after. It can leave the colour of it on your hands. It’s very affordable, but I buy more when it’s on sale. It gives you that fresh look and feeling between washes. If you’re thinking about trying something to give you a little pick me up before washing your hair, you should try this. Some will like it, some won’t. Personally, even if it was the perfect color and the color only stuck to hair instead of transferring to skin/nails/clothing/white countertops(!!), it would still be a no for me. The scent is not only terrible, but super strong and pervasive. It lingers, just like the color transfer, both in my bathroom and on me all day, and I hate it. If the overpowering scent wasn't 80% of what's in the can (and not disgusting and musky), I would absolutely deal with the transfer for this as not only a dry shampoo, but a quick and easy root touch-up/color corrector for daily use with no damage. But I can't walk around smelling that heavy, dark, masculine smell. Biolage has a dry shampoo with a heavenly scent. If they ever make that in a dark color, I'll never try another brand. I'm seriously considering a lighter hair color so I can use that one without the color distortion of the residue on dark roots.KH

I use dry shampoo sparingly but when I did, this was my go to. It was an amazing dry shampoo. The colour was nice and it gave great volume, it did make your fingernails look like you crawled in dirt if you touched your hair, BUT I COULD LOOK PASSED THAT. keep in mind I’m talking about the product in past tense, because they have clearly changed the formula. NOW- it literally doesn’t work. It’s not as stiff / drying, and the transfer is significantly less but it doesn’t soak up any oil and the volume is MIA????? What’s the point ??????? BRING BACK THE STIFF/DIRTY FORMULA AT LEAST IT WORKED! I can manage dirty fingernails and stiff hair for a day, but what’s the point of this doesn’t work for it’s intended purpose!!!!! I love Berlin Pulp Riot dry shampoo. It’s hands down the best and only one I’ve been able to consistently use. It’s light weight and easy to brush through your hair after using it. All other dry shampoos I’ve tried have still made my hair feel icky and was hard to brush through to the point I felt like I was breaking my hair off when trying to do so. My holy grail dry shampoo I can't live without. I think I've been thru 30 cans so far, not joking. I am very sensitive to scents. Most give me migraines or make me sick. I also am very acne prone and super careful of what I put in my hair so it won't break me out around my hairline or neck. I also prefer dry shampoo to not have any gritty hold to it. So this dry shampoo is perfect. It only has a slight clean scent but not anything that lingers. It has no hold so it literally feels and looks like you just washed your hair or even better really. Gives my very fine oily hair volume and life without feeling like any product is in it. And won't break me out. The only thing is, it's white and does take a bit of brushing to make sure no cast is on the dark half of my hair. But that's typical of dry shampoo. I literally tossed my old dry shampoo after buying this one. I workout a lot while also trying not to wash my hair everyday. One of the biggest issues I’ve had is that dry shampoo helps get rid of the greasy look but my hair still smells sweaty, but not this one!!! It smells AMAZING and the scent lasts almost all day! I needed a new curling iron. I didnt want something that was just the basic curing iron I can pick up at a box store. I did some research on curling irons. I wanted something that would keep hair curled all day, the basic does not do this. I read the ceramic barrels were going to be the best for my thinner hair. Without burning or leaving my hair unhappy. I got the bigger size. 1.25 barrel as I wanted bigger curls to comb, brush or fluff out for more body in my hair. I like the swivel cord, meaning when I twirl the wand the cord doesnt wrap around me, the wand. Etc. This is a very nice addition so I can use it at whatever angle I need. I LOVE L’ange products. However, I am not a huge fan of this particular product. I find that some cheaper brands last longer bc the bottles are much larger on other brands. And it has no scent. I love the effects of volume that I get when I use it. But as far as oil absorption or leaving hair smelling clean and fresh goes – this product needs a little improvement.amy.d

The Good: If you love the classic Amika scent, you will love this product because it is truly spot on. Using this when skipping a wash day is a true joy for me because the scent is so long lasting that I get to enjoy it until I actually give my head a good shampooing. This product is light, does not go on overly white like most other dry shampoos out there and really does a great job at soaking up excess oil (yuck). I use this by spraying it in the problem areas and lightly "dusting" the rest of my scalp with it. Then I allow the product to work it's magic for at least 2-3 minutes but even more if time allows it and then I simply brush my hair out with my regular brush. Following these exact steps (my usual dry-shampoo routine) I have never found any issues of noticable residue in my dark brown hair. I've used many other dry shampoos that have made my hair look almost like its greying at the roots due to the light powder color and my contrasting dark hair. This dry shampoo never fails me. I truly love the formula, I've used this product for a very long time and I will continue to repurchase it (but only on sale). The Bad: As mentioned previously this product has a very intense long-lasting scent which can be a no-go for strong smell averse people and unless you know you enjoy the Amika "classic" scent products like I know I do, I would stick to getting a sample size to test it out. I got this for a friend as a gift and she told me she loves the scent but that it was simply too intense for her and after an entire day gave her a headache, so keep that in mind. The Ugly/Honest: Despite loving this product it's simply put not worth the price point. I buy this for at least 20% off each time and simply I cannot justify spending the full $25 for a undersized bottle of dry shampoo. Okay this stuff is awesome! I have type 4 African-American hair and wash it once a week, then typically do a blow dry and DIY silk press. It's hard to keep my hair sleek and fresh once 3-ish days pass because I work out 5x a week, doing everything from HIIT, Kickboxing, Soulcycle, strength training, etc. My hair also absorbs odors from the atmosphere very easily and starts to smell sweaty and old before the week is up. I got the travel-sized amika perk up in my birthday kit and have been using it pretty conservatively – I just spray a little in my hand and then rub my scalp and the lengths of my hair a bit. I only did this a few times this week. My hair so far has stayed surprisingly fresh and didn't even absorb any of the food or smoky odors after 5 hours in a baseball field concert. It has not taken on any sweaty odors from my workouts and feels soft. I am very impressed! I can only imagine the results would be better if I were using the product as intended. Perk Up has quickly become one of my go-to dry shampoos. I typically wash my hair 1-2 times a week and rely on dry shampoo the rest of the time. Most dry shampoos fall short of refreshing my hair after a day or two. But with Perk Up, my hair looked and smelled fresh through day 3. It did an ok job on day 4 but I will continue using IGK’s First Class for day 4. For those with less oily hair, I’m sure it would be great for day 4 hair. I have thick, straight hair that quickly becomes oily at the root. Perk Up quickly absorbed the oil without leaving a weird texture or weighing my hair down. It made it easy to style my hair however I wanted without having to counteract any effects from the dry shampoo. It has the classic Amika fragrance. The scent wasn’t overpowering compared to other dry shampoos I’ve used. But for those sensitive to fragrance, it is strong enough to possibly be an issue. I didn’t notice any white residue or powder at the roots—but I have blonde hair so I can’t say whether it would be an issue for darker hair. It did not make my scalp feel dry or itchy. I will continue to buy this product because it refreshes my hair and absorbs oil without adding unwanted texture or weight. I only wish it had the strength to get through day 4 post-wash.ashnicole01

the ingredients for this is fairly simple. mane magic contains argon oil and sunflower seed oil which are both great for promoting shine and smoothness. before I start this review, let me just say this: this is the old packaging, amazon just sent me this but if you see the new packaging, the formula is still the same!! this holy grail product does all 10 things it claims such as: heat protection, reduced frizz, detangles, softens, cuts drying time, uv protection, and much more!! the claim that stunned me lost was the way this cuts drying time. it’s literally MAGIC the way this cuts my drying time. I normally use batiste, I was looking for something different just because the white powder that comes out of it looks bad on my black hair as well as the dirty feeling to my hair. I did not notice any white residue with this I just gave it a good shake and sprayed. It even made my hair feel silky. The negative that I found is that while it smells really great at first, it stays on your hair and smells like a weird senior citizen make up powder. My bathroom also smells like it for a while. For the reason of the really strong sent, it just doesn’t sit well with me I feel like I’m breathing in chemicals. I have tried alot and didn’t ever have a smell that lasted this long. I have very thick, coarse hair that I only wash every 5-10 days. I need a dry shampoo that has some actual substance to it that I can use every day & oh my word. Not only is this extremely reasonably priced, it works like a charm. It doesn't take a ton for me because I don't have a very oily scalp, I just need to soak up the extra oil from running around because I have a busy job that requires lots of movement. This offers amazing volume & smells INCREDIBLE. My boyfriend is a foot taller than me & is always leaning down to kiss my head & smell my hair. It helps my stretch my wash day as far out as possible & it's also a good size. It smells like vanilla buttercream but better & the spray nozzle is great at not delivering clumps of dry shampoo. Honestly, it isn't bad to take away the oil and volume boost my greasy hair days. It really instantly give a weightless hair looking after I applied it. I love this dry shampoo! I love the brand and have enjoyed every different kind I've tried but this one smells so yummy!! I have color-treated, bleached, damaged hair so I only wash it once a week (yes, it's actually normal) so I use dry shampoo regularly. I have tried so many different brands and kinds and I keep coming back to Batiste. I usually get this one or the tropical one and they both smell incredible. They spray evenly and the "white" residue soaks in almost immediately. Honestly I see a lot of people who don't like it if a dry shampoo sprays a little color onto your hair but I prefer it, I like seeing it working. This is a tricky one. Overall, this works quite well as a dry shampoo. My hair looks cleaner and has more volume after using for sure. However, I have extremely dark brown hair, and this is SO white when I spray it on. Like I get a good sense of what I’ll look like in my 60s. It takes a LOT of rubbing and working through it to get the white out, and I feel like it’s just putting more oil back in my hair from my fingers. Given my hair color, I definitely expect some white from dry shampoo when I first spray it in, but this was … a lot. I’ve used other brands that have barely any and also work, so I know it’s possible. I don’t think it deserves less than 4 stars overall, but for me personally, it’s more like a 2 or 3. I’m going to try a different brand when this runs out. I added a couple of pictures. The first three are before/during/after and the second two are during/after (forgot to take a before) where I think you can see how white it is a little better. I love the original dry shampoo formula so I wanted to try the brunette one since I have dark brown hair. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by it at all. It truly makes my hair more oily and dirty looking/feeling than it was before I put it on my hair. It also leaves your fingers dark and dirty if you touch your hair throughout the day. And for some reason, it gives your hair a very crunchy feeling, almost like a hairspray texture. And makes it difficult to run a brush through it once it's in your hair. This is the BEST dry shampoo I have ever tried!! If you are frustrated with dry shampoo never truly working on your hair, please give this a try!! I’ve tried popular high-end brands and a fair share of cheaper brands, but nothing compares to this product. My hair tends to look very oily one day after wash. I could never go more than 2 days without washing my hair until now. The Kristin Ess dry shampoo seems to soak up any excess oil without drying out my hair, and lasts all day! No white cast, no quick-fix that leaves my hair oily 5 minutes later, and no stiffness in my roots after applying.. Currently on day 4 hair (including a light gym session), which is a first for me!! The only drawback is the intensity of the scent. I love this scent, but if you are sensitive to fragrance, this may not be the product for you. I've repurchased this so many times so I figured I should leave a review. I begrudgingly used Batiste and Not Your Mother's for the longest time, since those were the top rated dry shampoos. This one is so much better. It doesn't leave a white cast (I have black straight hair), doesn't make your hair feel crunchy, and absorbs oils really well. This is my favorite dry shampoo, period! My only complaint is that it doesn't come in larger sizes, since I tend to go through a bottle in under a month with regular use. It's a bit pricier but totally worth it909

This eva•nye Frshen Up Dry Shampoo was just okay. It smells great and well smell alone will not make me buy this again. I did find at first it worked great, but was a little drying. The drying was tolerable for my hair type which is thicker but very straight, and not overly oily. I normally only wash my hair every few days unless I am working a lot then I have too be cause it smells like fried food and gets nasty feeling. Anyway, I have very blinded hair so I never noticed any white patches or residue issues and I didn't have any grey coloring later. I did however notice that I had a very greasy feeling about 4 hours after application and I had to use more. That made my hair feel very heavy by the end of the day. I will say it worked a lot better on my daughter's hair,and she does have oily hair. I only had to use a small amount where my hair being g thick I had what I considers a lot of product to get me through a part of my day. I really wanted to lime this product I will be trying on a day I do not have to be around grease and fryers because that may be a part of the issue. I don’t usually leave reviews but this stuff is AMAZING. I have such a hard time with oil control (I’m Native Alaskan and we’re oily) and I’ve never found a dry shampoo that works with my hair and scalp. This isn’t itchy, it actually works, and my hair is never crunchy. I can usually make it 48 hours max with dry shampoo but I’m currently on my 2nd 5 day stretch and I get compliments on my hair daily. My new holy grail. My hair is fine and thin, so after one day it generates a lot of oil. With this product my hair looked almost freshly washed and smelled clean too!. This has been the only dry shampoo that does not leave any type of white residue on your hair and it does not weigh your hair down. It is quite hard to wash out but if you're looking for a product that gives you two days of clean hair this is good. But we have to remember about one thing. All dry shampoos are not good for everyday use as they are not good for the scalp skin. We have to use them only from time to time when we have special occasion and we cannot clean our hair normally.amnah.a

I’ve never used dry shampoo before so I used this a couple of times before writing a review to work out how I felt about it. It has quite a strong smell as it goes on but this wears off quickly. I found that it left a slightly orange tint on my scalp which wasn’t ideal. I could remove it by rubbing but I was always paranoid I would miss a bit. Overall I would say it did allow me to eke an extra day out before I had to wash my hair but I think this is largely because I am working from home and what looks acceptable on a computer screen is different to what would be acceptable in person. I don’t think I would use this to give my hair a boost before a day in the office. On the plus side it’s weightless, once I had brushed my hair through it didn’t feel like there was any product at all. In future I will use it if I am absolutely desperate and have no time to wash my hair in the morning but I won’t rely on it regularly.Saspip

Really like this product. It doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff/matted, and the oil absorption is top notch! I wish I could give it 5 stars, but I will have residue sometimes when I touch my clothes after touching my hair. The dark version is also a very light reddish/brownish/blondish. Not much different from the original white powder, and it does nothing special for brunette to black hair. A little pricey for the size of the can, but overall still worth repurchasing time and time again.Rae

This product is amazing, but the spray cap is consistently defective but product is great! Pros: I'm able to not wash my hair for at least 3-4 days where typically my hair gets greasy after one day! Cons: the last THREE cans I've purchased the cap became defective after only a few uses which makes the product completely useless to the point I've switched brands !!!! This was my go to dry shampoo until I started having issues with the nozzle! It won't come out! I have 2 bottles with half of the product in it and I can't even use it. I buy in bulk when it's on sale so I bought them along with others on sale a while back and can't even return it! I'm disappointed. It smells great and gets the job done but if I can only use half of what I buy it's not worth it! Do not buy! Issues with the nozzle will cause you to not be able to use it! I used to love this product and it was the main dry shampoo I used for my dark brown hair. It would add great volume to my flat hair, though it did make my hair and scalp feel a little heavier (kinda felt stiff like hair spray was on it). The most recent time I purchased this in 2021, the spray stopped working. It leaked from the sides and just wasted all my product. You can try to get liquid out by turning the bottle down and spraying down instead of straight up, but too much liquid comes out and it doesn't really work. Such a waste of money, I'm going back to the bumble and bumble liquid spray.Mari

I have fine hair, which can get quite oily. Often with dry shampoos, they thicken the hair and make it really dry. In trying Joico's dry shampoo I am pleased to say I can confidently use this and still go to work, and my hair looks nice. Smells lovely and is so easy to use. Spray at roots, massage it in, then wait a couple of minutes before brushing through for softer, clean hair.Ariane

This vegan plant-power dry shampoo is made with 100% natural extracts. Dry shampoo is most effective when applied before the scalp is saturated with oil. Using it proactively vs relatively will work more. In my view, dry shampoo likes hand sanitizer, it is only a substitute for washing when you don't have soup available or you couldn't have a wash. I can't go more than day without shampoo and conditioner. That's why I never use dry shampoo before. I have a dark and very straight fine hair. Honestly, it isn't bad to take away the oil and volume boost my greasy hair days. It really instantly give a weightless hair looking after I applied it. Unfortunately, I personally don't enjoy using it. It made my scalp itchy and leave a white cast on my dark root so bad. I couldn't wait to wash it out. The other downside is that the fragrance is just too strong for me and it lingers in my bathroom and hair. I generally can't stand heavily scent in anything. I actually go outside to spray my hair. This is a tricky one. Overall, this works quite well as a dry shampoo. My hair looks cleaner and has more volume after using for sure. However, I have extremely dark brown hair, and this is SO white when I spray it on. Like I get a good sense of what I’ll look like in my 60s. It takes a LOT of rubbing and working through it to get the white out, and I feel like it’s just putting more oil back in my hair from my fingers. Given my hair color, I definitely expect some white from dry shampoo when I first spray it in, but this was … a lot. I’ve used other brands that have barely any and also work, so I know it’s possible. I don’t think it deserves less than 4 stars overall, but for me personally, it’s more like a 2 or 3. I’m going to try a different brand when this runs out. I added a couple of pictures. The first three are before/during/after and the second two are during/after (forgot to take a before) where I think you can see how white it is a little better. I have medium thickness hair that gets oily almost immediately. Oil has always been an issue for me and now that I am coloring my hair, I need a good dry shampoo that I can depend on. I've tried a handful of other dry shampoos in this price range and this is how the GK Hair compares to them.The GK Hair Refresh + Care Volume dry shampoo is on the top of my list. It actually does the job AND adds volume. I can even do a bit of styling using just this. The top of my hair is black so the dry shampoo does show white when first applied. I normally apply it to the top of my head and bangs, which are the oilest. Then I brush it through my hair using a boar bristle brush. The white easily disappears through brushing and becomes unnoticeable, even on my black hair.I can use this about 3-4 days in a row without washing my hair. My hair does not feel sticky or oiley after using this product, but since it does some volumizing, it will make your hair feel a bit thicker and slightly crunchy if you use too much. The smell is not bad and not super overpowering. Overall, I was really satisfied with GK Hair dry shampoo, moreso than others.How do the others stack up?Batiste Original – Seriously feels like the cheapest dry shampoo on the market. Quality is not great. The smell was overpowering with a gross, super frangranced powdery scent. I absolutely despised the smell! Quality was poor and made my hair feel sticky. Could only use this once before needing a wash. Sometimes just using this made me want to wash my hair.Not Your Mothers Clean Freak Dry Shampoo – This seems to be higher quality than Batiste. Smell is better than Batise and I could use this for about a couple days. Noticed I need to use more of this tho compared to GK Hair and can't extend usage for as long and I get some mild crunchiness with my hair.TRESEmm Fresh Start volumizing dry shampoo – this really doesn't do volumizing as well as the GK Hair, or at all. This actually works more similarly to the Not Your Mothers without as much crunchiness. It's not the most strong dry shampoo you may need to use a bit more than others. However, it leaves my hair feeling pretty naturally smooth and not weighed down. The smell seems a bit fruity and I dig it. Don't buy this for volumizing tho bc it's awful for that but great for removing oil!Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret dry shampoo – This is one of my favorite dry shampoos, except for the fact that I need more of it than others to temper my oily hair. I've found this it's pretty mild and pairs well with a volumizing shampoo. I now use this (or the TRESEmm) with the GK Hair volume shampoo to make my hair last up to 4-5 days between washing. Having both is really beneficial. This product is fairly mild compared to GK Hair and leaves no crunch, oil, or residue. The smell is awesome and this is a great dry shampoo for mildly-oily hair. I can't use it alone on my oily hair unless I want to use an entire can per week, which I don't.Finally, I colored my hair about 2 months ago (Clariol black to Ion Jade ombr) and thanks to these dry shampoos I have not yet had to touch it up and my colors are still saturated and vibrant. I'm using dry shampoo every day except for gym days where I will wash my hair. Depending on gym schedule, I wash my hair about every 2-5 days, and rely on dry shampoo on no-wash days. I have oily hair even after the bleaching and coloring so this process has worked very well for me thus far.B H.

This dry shampoo is amazing. I have fine dirty blond hair that easily shows grease. My entire life I have always had to shower every morning in order to keep my hair looking clean throughout the whole day.I recently decided to try washing my hair every other day and using dry shampoo to avoid looking greasy. I had dove dry shampoo on hand and used that for a few weeks before I ran out. I thought ti was fine but the smell bothered me a bit so I decided to try GK Hairand instantly fell in love. My hair looks flawless on day 2 after using dry shampoo. Unlike dove I completely forget this is in my hair as it actually feels cleans instead of feeling like dirty hair that is pretending to be clean.I decided to see if I could push my luck and get a third day out of the dry shampoo and it turns out I can! My hair still looked decent (although not perfect) on day three.Just a few things to note is that it does turn your hair very white at first, however this easily brushes out. Also I get less volume boost out of this then I did dove but still it is overall amazing.KR

I don't buy this product from shopify, but instead my local grocery store. But for all those who are skeptical or hate the product, I am here to say this is hands-down the best dry shampoo I have ever used and I have used a lot of other brands. GK Hairlasts all day and days after with a quick refresher and for anyone who is saying it makes them look like an old lady with the white residue, you have to rub it in! If there's any left over, take a tissue and rub it across your roots, it'll disappear; believe me I know because I had the same problem. I've had people tell me my hair looks fabulous and that's after three days of not washing it! GK Hairgets rid of the oil and adds volume; I actually like the look of my hair better, day two and using GK Hair, Dry Shampoo. Only down side of this product is that it's a bit pricey and I probably buy a can every two weeks-three weeks (So it's probably more expensive than shampoo and washing your hair, but well worth it for days you don't have time to wash your hair!) I also have hair that gets oily after the first day of washing it so I tend to have to use a bit more than normal. But anyways, try the product, you're bound to love it – there will always be people who hate the product or just have difficult hair.Cari
