Nothing worse than a company praying you don’t read the smaller text. I was unfortunate enough to buy in store to find out that the 100% waterproof is only for cleaning. Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. Took forever to get anything off my face which a normal razor could have done 3 times over in the time I tried to use this- and my face still isn’t properly shaven. I’d get a refund but I didn’t realize how truly bad this product would be Stick to shaving normally if possible or buy a better razor thats TRULY WATERPROOF if thats what you’re looking forCyrus

This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. However, a friend of mine who also sports a beard has used a Braun for years, no issues. For the price I paid for this razor, I thought I'd try. Not sure why this little razor isn't getting more love, maybe people just don't know how to shave. It works darn good. I can shave closer & faster than I can with a blade, no irritation, and it does not destroy my beard lines. I can't imagine how good your expensive models shave, this little guy works well. Only wish I could use with a cord, but that's not a deal breaker. Don't ignore this razor!mike6000

There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I promise that this razor gives just as close a shave as a standard triple Blade razor.Philip

I have used Braun electric shavers daily for the last 25 years and Remingtons before that. My Braun Series 7 sideburn trimmer broke this past week when I replaced the head so I was able to compare the two head to head. Braun 7 with a new foil head versus Series 9 Pro. The 9 Pro was a major improvement to the already fine Series 7 with a new head. I was amazed at the major difference of closeness of the shave and how efficient it was in requiring fewer passes to get a close shave. The shave with the Series 9 Pro was every bit as close as shaving with my Merzur safety razor. The new head design design on the Series 9 is clearly better plus there is a new feature that works really well. The head can be locked in a fixed position or used in in a pivoting position. The instructions recommend the fixed head position for your neck and cheeks. While the pivoting head works well under your nose and on your chin. The pop up sideburn trimmer has been relocated to the rear of the shaver which is a much better location than on the front of the shaver. The new charging case is wonderful for traveling on extended trips. I am amazed at the dramatic improvement of the Braun Series 9 Pro over my previous Braun Series 7. The shaver is a beautiful example of high quality German Design, German Engineering, and German manufacturing. Yes it is made in Germany which I much prefer over Chinese mediocre manufacturing. I bought the Series 9 Pro 9465 though I was skeptical. I have always used a Phillips Norelco triple headed rotary shaver because I believed that it was the only thing short of a blade that could give me a clean shave with all the crazy directions my beard grows. The quality of the blades on my Norelco shavers have degraded badly over the years and I find myself grinding the razor against my face for 10 minutes trying to get a reasonable shave and having razor burn afterward. I also don't shave every day anymore and every day past day 1 I go, the worse the shaving experience got. This shaver is amazing! If I shave every day it takes me about 90 second to get a MUCH closer shave than my old shaver, and I even 3 days to test it out and after 3 days the save was just as close and only required a little more effort. I never believed a foil shave could work for me but I'm convinced now. The skin on my face is much happier, and I am too. Pros: Really close shave with minimal effort Very quick to get to that close shave Nice design and fits well in my hand Impressive cleaning/charging station (yet to really test it out) Cons: Its not loud but the sound is high pitched compared to my old shaver and a little uncomfortable VERY pricey, I hope its wicked durable like my Norelcos which each lasted over a decade with just blade replacements Not sure I would spend the extra $100 on the base station if I had the chance to buy it againScoR

Quick assessment: Hefty feel that provides a very close shave, but does take longer to cut every hair with more noise and vibration than other electric shavers. Pros: Extremely high quality and hefty feel. The razor feels “premium” and I doubt it will break or have any quality issues for a long time. I love the attention that was put into the quality. This razor also shaves closer than any other electric razor I’ve tried before. If you are focused on the end result of super smooth skin post shaving, this is a great razor. The shaving head pivots to meet the contour of your face, and glides easily. I did not experience any roughness, scratchiness or other concerns – the razor heads glide smooth without irritation. Cons: Noise and vibration. As this design is a “side-to-side” trimmer, there is a lot more noise and vibration in the trimmer action than I am used to. It is not a defect, just something to be aware. It wasn’t a problem for me most weekends, but during the weekdays it did wake up my wife as I was getting ready for work. Also, while the razor is Li-Ion and can be used cordlessly most of the time, I found it unfortunate that razor does not work WHILE PLUGGED IN as well. I would be worried about forgetting to charge it and then being stuck unable to shave in the morning while waiting for enough charge to get going. Not a huge issue either, but also something to be aware of. Final con I noticed was just the time it takes to properly shave. Another great rotary in Philips' lineup. This series does solve the issue of many complaints regarding the detachable trimmer and heads of other Philips shavers – it has the traditional flip-top head and pop-up trimmer. This adds to the bulk of the shaver, body and head, but precludes having to keep track of a separate trimmer and remove the head for cleaning, and it works reasonably well, although for me the trimmer isn't quite as effective as the SmartClick attachments for the Series 9000 shavers. The ComfortGlide Rings really are effective, and provide a frictionless shave, although in this model they are slightly larger than the Anti-Friction rings of the S7940 for example, and require some maneuvering to get around tight areas. The Quick Clean pods use the same cleaning solution as the SmartClean cartridges for the SmartClean stations, which is excellent for cleaning and lubricating the shaver. The Quick Clean Pod is unpowered however, and uses the shaver's power, reducing it by about 1 percent per cleaning, although on a positive note doesn't require cords or cables and is more compact – actually usable for travel. The GroomTribe app is the Achilles Heel of all these Bluetooth shavers, and in particular this model (S7782), because there's no information regarding this particular shaver – the app seems exclusively to recognize only the S7940 shaver. On the plus side, the S7782 will connect, and it does record the shaving time and the percentage of rotation (which improves shaving efficiency), although the motion sensor algorithm in the shaver appears not to recognize the correct rotational movement about half the time. The good news is you don't actually need the app, and this shaver has an LED screen that provides all the essential information about the shaver, including battery life, cleaning information and the previously mentioned inaccurate rotation statistics. The shaving heads (SH71/52) only have a single cutting ring, but actually are comfortable and provide a very close shave. Overall, an excellent rotary from Philips, that provides a close, comfortable shave, warts and all, with the potential to improve with software updates to the app. Recommended.S7782

The Norelco S7000 is a very great shaver and I do recommend this electric shaver to all men especially men with sensitive skin which I have and I’m 50 years old and I have been searching for a shaver electric or not and it will not make my neck red or razor bumps. The reason why I’m giving my purchase review is because it came with a defective battery it won’t hold a charge for that long as Norelco says that it should. So I contacted the manufacture and told them of this and they mailed me a replacement shaver of the same type and the replacement does hold a charge unlike the first one that I bought. And if you have sensitive scan on your neck and when you shave you get a red neck from a razor and bumps then you really need to buy either the S7000 or the S9000 cause I can shave dry and I get awesome results and no redness or bumps and you would want to get the electric Norelco shaver that you can clean it using a cleaning pod. I will never go back to razor’s ever again and when I have wore it out I will buy another one. I did buy the S9000 because it comes with double the blades but either electric shaver will give you a very smooth clean shave.Baylein

I grew up with and have used Norelco rotary shavers and body groom tools all my adult life. My old one, probably close to 20 years now, still works but there is no availability of replacement heads anymore and some wear finally. This is an excellent shaver and I am very happy I got it. I considered the 3000 and 5000 series, but 3000 seems to use lower end heads, and while the 5000 uses the same as this, the hard travel case is essential to me and purchased as a separate accessory brings the cost close enough that it was worth it to just get the higher end kit. The shave is great; I haven't yet tried out the cleaning pod. The shaver cleans very well under running water following the instructions. I also have some extras from my previous Philips/Norelco products that I use with this, such as combs, cleaning brushes and a spare charger.Chris_P

I bought this shaver about a month ago after my Braun shaver quit on me after two years. I've had Norelco's in the past as did my dad. There was a comment made by one person that he didn't like this shaver because he felt the motor wasn't fast enough. I found this to be true however the motor is quiet and there are three cutting head with a lot of blades. Thinking logically, if the motor was any faster, there's a good chance that the blades would miss some hairs. Of all the Norelco's I've had in the past, this one is the best. The main shaver head along with the 3 cutting heads give a very close shave and conforms to your face, jawline and Adam's apple where my old Braun didn't. I use Williams Electric Shave for lubrication and have yet to have any razor burn. For cleaning, pop open the shaver head and rinse with warm water. There are three indicator lights which tell you when the shaver is fully charged and when it'll need to be charged up again. For $60.00, this shaver at least for me is worth every penny.Dakasis

The shaver does a good job, I have had bad experiences with electric shavers in the past where the blades have pulled on my facial hair and it hurts that even before I would shave I would use the back razer to shorten my facial hair so I could shave my face or I would just use the back razer to shave completely. with this electric shaver, I can get a good shave without the blades pulling on my facial hair. there is a lot of confusion on what I can use with the shaver, like Lectric Shave or can I use shaving cream, the user manual doesn't give enough instructions. it's great that it comes with a case for the shaver and the charger, but the shaver is difficult to fully clean out like dumping out all the hairs that the shaver collects, also you are only recommended one accessory, and that accessory is no longer available and it's an important product because it's used to clean the head of the shaver.Hunter11

I found that my new shaver does a credible job. I enjoy the fact that it's waterproof and can be washed after use. However, it was supposed to show a warning light when the battery became low, and it didn't do that, and I was caught one morning not being able to shave because the battery needed recharging. I've been using a Norelco shaver for more than 20 years (Model #6843XL) even after the battery could no longer be charged by plugging it in until even plugging it in would no longer work. So being 94 years old, I assume that this will be my last shaver I'll have to buy if this one is as good as my last one.Maftir

i liked the design and the concept of the trimmer… and I realized before i bought it that i would have to spend money before i found out if it was any good. But such is life, and it does look pretty nifty. Searching reviews wasn’t doing any good, nor were review videos off youtube. Every video and review online is sponsored by Philips, and they’ve cornered the market. Every “review” sounds like a infomertial. You just can’t get an honest opinion. So screw it- i just bought one with trepidation.

It’s been a year since then, and here’s my opinion for what it’s worth. The Philips OneBlade is JUNK! To begin with, i shave my face AND head and do so regularly. However, with three days growth, the blade wasn’t able to make it all the way through without being replaced- straight out the box.

The kicker? It has a 3 month shelf life before it won’t charge enough for a shave. That’s right, i’m on number four because they quit charging. All of them. Even now, i’m headed to court in a suit and tie, and half my face is shaved. the other half has a weeks growth from a holiday. I look like an idiot.

Try googling “OneBlade won’t Charge” and watch a new world open up before you. Thousands of people also have this issue, not to mention blade life when they cost a fortune.

Nothin beats an all in one face shaver when you don’t have to go back and forth between different styles of razor's. Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face has precise accuracy and gets a very close shave! I love how close it gets without having to use a straight razor. The blade and head of the shaver runs close to the skin to catch the smallest hairs and leaves it baby soft. I was surprised at how well it did with only one pass and hands down will use this one for every shave. Phillips designed this product with shaving in mind and in my several uses, I have yet to see the normal cuts you would get with a regular razor. My favorite part is how the blades line up my beard so easily without frustration. The slim design is easy to see around and fits in a travel bag perfectly. The battery is long lasting and charges very quick. This took over the #1 spot in my shave routine and has been going strong for me without an issue. Phillips nailed this one!!!AudiDad88

First time I used Oneblade I was amazed. Still today I use it almost always over other 3 types of razor I have. Razor(5 blade), trim razor rechargeable, and electric 3 head rechargeable are the three. They all work fine but the Oneblade does the job so much better. This is one of those products that you hope the manufacture doesn't ever discontinue. It is like nothing I have tried before, until you try you will not understand. I know I should tell you how smooth it is, how close it cuts, how it never cuts you, and it is amazing ability to get those curved areas of the face as easy as anything. If you purchase it and you do not like it I give, well it is not my product. But the faith in it is that strong you could put your promise on the product. I received a Braun Series 9 Pro 9477cc Electric Shaver as a free sample from PINCHme for my honest review. This was my first foil-type electric razor I have ever used and I am continually impressed on how well it works after 3 weeks of use. It provides a close shave without irritation I often get from the rotary-type shavers I have used in the past. I have very coarse and thick facial hair and this cuts through very well. The product states it will shave through up to 7 days worth of growth, I could see that if you have finer or more sparse hair than I do, but as for my facial hair, I would say anything more than 4 or 5 days should be trimmed with the included trimmer rather that going right after the growth to avoid some uncomfortable pulling. The cleaning station is awesome and works great, no issues there. Manual cleaning is really easy as well, not having to worry about parts flying out while you do it like rotary shavers. The shaver seems well built and sturdy, we will see how it does long term. The charging case is a nice bonus if you need to bring it along for travel (it is a lithium battery so you may need to see if you can bring it with carry-on or not). There are many positives to be had here, I will point out a few negatives I have noticed. One is that you cannot use this while it is on the charger, as it is a safety feature since this can be used in wet applications (in shower or using shaving gel and creams. Really just a minor inconvenience, just need to remember to keep it charged up. The real major issue is the cost (not a real issue for me as I received it as a sample) looking around it typically retails for over $250+ depending on features. It works well and if you need to have a daily or every other day shave this would make sense, but if you only need to do a touch up here and there you would have to weigh if that cost is worth it to you. All said I would say this is a well made shaver that seems to tick all the boxes for me (smooth shave, little to no irritation, easy to maintain and sturdy) so with that I would definitely recommend it.NK_wi_g9485

I bought the product before the charging case came out, I constantly see advertisements for the series 9 with the charging case. I have asked 2 times in replies if I can purchase the charging case separately. No one responded. Maybe I’ll get a response I had a series 7 prior to the series 9 for many years. The series 7 did not miss hairs like the series 9 does. Also, the cleaner will say it needs a new cartridge after the fluid is at ~50%. The prior cleaner used much more of the cartridge fluid before requiring a new cartridge which made cartridges last longer. I’m hoping that Gillette is not negatively impacting the customer experience to make a little bit more money on cartridges. Especially as I have been a loyal Braun user for many years. I even bought my sons Braun products. So, can I purchase the PowerCase Separately? Due to the high price and my general lack of satisfaction in the performance of the shaver and its cleaning stand. At this point I cannot recommend. If they improve the shaver head to not leave hairs and not pull hairs, I would recommend.Matthew T

I don't normally do this, but here goes… I bought this shaver after a little research. I wanted the best, and one that would last. When the series 9 arrived, I was blown away by the quality and closeness of the shave (though not so great performance on areas of my face with looser skin). The bother came, when after barely 2 months of use, taking care to clean and oil the shaver regularly, the cartridge stopped working. The cartridge which is supposed to last up to 18 months. I thought, "maybe this one was no good?" and ordered another cartridge (new) from ebay. Same. Thing. Happened. A month and a half in, cartridge fails while I'm on a business trip. So aggravating! I buy another one. Malfunction. That's $130 on cartridges within 5 months of purchase. I took a deeper look and saw that there were many reviews- Amazon, eBay, this website, product review websites- that all say the same thing! ***These cartridges are garbage*** Garbage attached to a wonderful machine. ***On top of them being of the poorest quality, they are nearly impossible to find, as this website does not sell, them, nor does anywhere in my vicinity (San Francisco, CA). They must be ordered online from a 3rd party.*** It's just shameful, Braun. Please do something to amend this product. It has been disappointing and frustrating to cope with the fact that I've now wasted $450+ on this shaver and it's useless cartridges, since it now sits sadly in a cabinet in the bathroom. 2 stars because despite the incredibly brief time that the cartridges work, it's great. Cost was just great on this purchase and the reason for purchasing two, one for myself and one for my son! I have experienced the single head of the Bliss for a while and when I saw the cost of the double head, thought I couldn't miss, plus I needed a birthday gift for him! The double head is much better and the recharging capability is absolutely fabulous! Saves switching batteries like I have had to do often on the single head. I purchased this shaver 07/09/2022. i took it home and started charging it, I couldn't wait to try it out so I used it in cord mode. I have tried the Mach 5 and a Braun version. While the Mach 5 produces a good close shave, it takes me 20 to 30 minutes of shaving to achieve that. Plus I have to use a lubricant while shaving to achieve the best shave. I used this new Babyliss shaver with no lubricant on my head and it literally took less than 3 minutes and it's the best shave I've had. it's nice and rugged metal, all others I have used have been plastic. It has definitely been the cheapest shaver I have tried. I was skeptical from reading some of the reviews, I do have more of a coarse hair which one of the reviews mentions getting results from. If you have coarse hair and want a great shave, I totally recommend this shaver! I'm not saying it won't do fine hair, I am just not a good test for that.Chris M.

Received this for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. First of all the box for this one looks so nice! Packaging was down really well and with care. This is my first time I try an electronic shaver my self. First off love the gold color on it mm it was pretty smooth easy to use honestly. Purchased a Series 9 in January of 2022. I believe the manufacturer states that you should be able to get 18 months out of a blade (which are very expensive to replace). I started finding that my beard was taking longer and longer each day to get a good shave out of and as a result, the battery lasts me 5 days at best. This started to happen after about 4-5 months of use. It is difficult to get to the 6 months point without replacing the blade no less 18 months. Given that, it is a very expensive shaver to own and I am disappointed. My Braun series 5 performed much much better but it's been discontinued.stinger

I have used this shaver only twice. Both times dry, once after 3 days of not shaving, once after on day. Shaver is noisy, but the shave is smooth. After 3 days takes a long time. You have to passed on your face several times. If you shave couple of times a week this is not the right shaver. Don't cut the fine hairs on the neck. Curvature of the shaving head dose not allow to reach under the nose. But you can use the trimmer. Trimmer width is too narrow and too close to shaver head. This shaver is not for traveling. Cleaning part to bulky and cleaning solution can not be put in carrying case (TSA), so you need to carry a suite case and pay extra, unless you are travelling first class. No plastic cover for shaving head, but carrying case quite good and sturdy. A plastic cap can be produced in China for about 50 cents. Consumables. Require cleaning solution and lubricant oil. All extra expenses. This a good shaver, but not suitable if you travel and if you don't mind the bulky cleaning and consumable. They don't want to sell just a shaver, but also a steady income stream by selling consumable.Jeffj

I purchased this product about 2 months ago when my older 7000 series shaver finally gave out after more than 5 years. I had used a 3000 series before, and the 7000 was a great upgrade and provided a clean comfortable shave. I thought the 9000 series was an upgrade from the 7000, but apparently I was completely wrong. My first shave with this razor was extremely painful, pulling hairs constantly and also provided a much worse cut than my old 7000 series. After my first shave with it the very first response my wife gave me was "Why didn't you use the new shaver you just got?" That hurt almost as much as the shave. In any case, I decided it might just be the new style of shaver head and my beard/face needed time to "adapt" and gave it a while. After one month, no change, and today is the 2 month anniversary and I'm done with this razor. It still pulls multiple times every shave with just one day worth of hair growth, and I have to shave twice as long (at least) to get anywhere near the closeness of shave I get with my old 7000 series. I think part of the issue is the new foil design, specifically the gold cover which appears to have box holes that basically just grab and yank out hair, baffling design to me. In any case, I will warn everyone I know to stay very far away from this razor. If you happen to be unlucky and have one yourself, I'd urge you to upgrade to a 7000 series shave as you will find it works better than this razor in every way. Shaving in the morning shouldn't feel like punishment and having to suffer through constant yanks and burns, and that's all this razor provides. I honestly have no idea where the positive reviews for this thing come from, unless they've just never used an electric shaver before and don't know how much better things can be when they are done right.DevDan

I have always been leary of buying an electric razor. However, over the past few years the cost of razor blades has skyrocketed and the quality of shave has deteriorated just as fast. I was tired of paying for razors that gave you a lousy shave. I was in the military and I know what a close shave is supposed to feel like. I took the plunge and purchased this razor. This razor has worked really well. The quality and closeness of shave is equal to anything I could get from a disposable razor. It takes a couple of weeks for your face to get used to shaving with an electric razor. It has been almost a month since I purchased the razor and I no longer feel any irritation at all. It is very easy to clean and the charge lasts for weeks. I will not back to using high priced low quality razors. I have long used cartridge razors, but no more. I’ll preface this with I have sensitive skin and prone to ingrown hairs & razor bumps. I used this in both my face and legs, and it’s the smoothest, least irritated my skin has ever been. There are even some contours I could get smooth with a good cartridge razor that I was able to get with this. I used it ‘wet’ with a foaming shaving cream. I also exfoliated first. I have never been as disappointed with a product as I was with this one. After all the glowing reviews and even some ratings calling it the best electric shaver ever made I took the plunge and switched from my Norelco. I have used for two weeks and the shaves are abysmal. Even after going over the same area 3-4 times there is still stubble left. Shaving the neck is even worse. Going over every area of my neck from every conceivable angle and there is still substantial stubble left. The only good comment I can make is that it feels good in the hand. ReDisappointment

when I received this shaver I was excited to try it out but once I did try it out the excited was gone. I have always liked Remington products but not this one. This foil shaver was a disappointment and not worth the money at all. The foils would not shave me, I even tried my facial hair at different lengths and still nothing. It was like shaving with a butter knife thats the only way I can explain it. Now the pop-up trimmer is a completely different story, it works great and I wish all shavers had a pop-up trimmer built in. With the pop-up trimmer It would allow me to use 1 tool for both shaving and trimming. I was able to trim my neck line up with it and shape my beard with it. Its very easy to clean and maintain as the shaver comes with a little. Another thing I like is the protective head guard, it protects the foils on the shaver and acts like a stand. The charger is wireless, has a LED charging indicator so you know when its ready to use and has a 3 year warranty. It charges via a USB cable but doesn't come with the wall adaptor which I hate. Not everyone has an extra wall adaptor to use, it should come with one! I gave this product only 3 stars mainly because of the shaver not doing its job but also because of not coming with a wall adaptor. I did receive this product for free for testing purposes only. I really wanted to love this shaver. It feels great in the hand and is well weighted and shaped. It charges via USB which is great for travel and backpacking; however, it only came with the USB cord and not a USB brick for use at home in my bathroom's outlet – I don't keep a computer there to charge it! The ear trimming blade on the back works great and was able to get through a monkey tail beard with one inch long hair without pulling or yanking; that was a major surprise and delight! Unfortunately, that's where the delight ends. Even after a full charge, the face blades just can't handle cutting your stubble down to nothing. Even following directions of holding it perpendicular to face, running it in circles, and holding skin tight with other hand. After four days of attempting to get this shaver to fully shave me, I am still left with splotches of stubble all over that it just can't cut. The problem is worst on the neck, but extends to the chin, cheeks, and lips as well. Despite the positives, the negatives just outweigh them and make this a shaver that is not worth buying.Myko

I am finding this razer to be really nice to use. It's usb charging is convenient to use, It feels nice to wield, and it's storage stand is perfect for my needs. It's a bigger size clipper which makes it really fast to get the majority of your face shaved quickly. Because it's big though it makes it harder to navigate narrower sections of skin on my face (like between the lips and nose). It comes with a backside razor that's great for taking care of those sections however. Although Foil shavers usually struggle to get as close a shave as rotary style shavers this shaver has had the closest shaves of any foil shaver I've used. All in all a great shaver in which I am quite satisfied with.DietChugg

As someone with very sensitive, acne and in grown hair prone skin I was never able to shave using the traditional razor and shaving cream method. I have tried out many hand held razors from cheap to very expensive but none of them lasted more than a few months never mind an entire year. I saw the one blade at my local pharmacy and decided to try it as I’ve had decent success with norelco in the past. This was the shaver I’ve needed and wanted all my life! The flat head design ensures stability while shaving and also makes it incredibly easy to shape my beard, side burns etc. What I love the most about the one blade is that it shaves the skin pretty much as close as a regular razor without the “side effects” of a traditional razor. No longer do I suffer with acne, razor bumps or irritation after shaving. This new one blade greatly improves upon the first iteration in the design of the guides and charging stand. The first one had individual length guides that didn’t really stay on that well and no charging base. I love the design of this new model because the guide stays on even while trimming the jawline and the lcd screen shows how much charge is left. For how small this thing is it has always held a charge very well. I shave about every week-ish and a full charge lasts about a month depending on how much I shave. The disposable heads last a long time as well given I tidy-up the thicker hair of the torso and below the belt, using a separate blade of course. My first one blade has lasted me over 3 years and it would probably still work if I didn’t drop it so much. To sum up my review, if anyone has had the same issues as I have using a traditional razor than I implore you to give this a try! Your skin will thank you!JNYC

I have always struggled with shavers, I am fair haired and my beard grows slowly so I usually go clean shaven but recently I have tried some different lengths of beard. With this Oneblade Pro I can manage the length easily, the guard comes with an adjustable comb so you can set it between 0.5 and 10mm, the best bit about that is it adjusts so simply with a turn of the wheel, the numbers are nice and clear so it's easy to set where you want it and it also doesn't move while shaving so you get a good even shave. I have attached a couple of photos, when I heard I was getting this I let my beard grow out so it was pretty long and untamed, for the first try I basically took it all off with a combination of using the guard and then removing it for a smooth finish, you can see the difference and it was an effortless shave no fuss and a nice smooth face. Battery life wise it's great so far, charged up once, used every day for a week and it's still going strong, I am guessing it will need charging soon but I can't complain at all. It is comfortable in the hand and us really sinple to use, the rotating head makes shaving so easy and it follows the contours of your face very well. It.comes with an extra blade for body shaving which I haven't used yet but its good to have the option. It comes with a standard 2 pin shaving plug for the bathroom socket and the lead is long enough to not cause any issues. It's much better for me than having to use a beard trimmer if I want to have some decent stubble and have a separate razor for when I want to be clean shaved, this does both really well and I would recommend it to anyone.Mooseman34

I will start this review by saying that I've exclusively used electric razors basically since I discovered what they were after I started shaving. I've used many different types and qualities over the years to varying levels of success. Unfortunately, the Philips Norelco Oneblade Pro fails to live up to the hype. In concept, the idea is interesting and unique, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. To start, the blade touts itself as being able to handle all lengths of hair, and I had gone almost 2 weeks without a shave (which is uncommon for me) so I figured what better way to test it. I tend to shave my neck clean and leave a bit of a 2-3 day shadow on my face so that's what I aimed for. While it accomplished this task, it was much more difficult and took much longer than my traditional method. I started with clean saving using the Oneblade without the guard on it, and it does well enough, although since it only cuts along the top and bottom edges, I found covering large flat areas to be a bit of an interesting experience. Since it doesn't cut directly under the flat middle part of the blade, you have to be sure there is room to move the blade up and down around it without cutting hair you don't want cut. The angle of the blade on the base does not lend itself to this experience. Trying to angle it without flipping it over is nearly impossible, and flipping it over means the teeth of the blade are directly against your skin. Fortunately the rounded edges do save you from any terrible mishaps, but it still does not lend itself to a very easy shaving experience. Once I finished the clean shaven portion of my neck, I attached the comb and set it to '3' (which I imagine is something akin to 3mm of my old Philips Norelco comb. It does manage to keep a consistent 3mm cut throughout, but it's like taking a weed-eater to a full yard of 5ft weeds. Yes, it CAN do it, but it does not do it well. As the blades cut the hair, it would just pile up and jam into the top of the comb until the comb and blades so full of hair they could no longer reach my face, and instead required me to remove the comb, tap out the hair and brush off the blades. The other strange thing about this design is that with the comb installed, only one of the two cutting edges is in use, which means if you only ever use it with the comb installed, or mostly use it with the comb installed, you will dull one side of the blade much sooner than the other. The blade cannot be flipped over to allow you a fresh cutting edge on the side that you use less. One thing I will mentioned about this, is that it is more comfortable than any travel razor I've ever used. So for travel, I would choose it over most other options if you're not willing to pack a bigger or bulkier razor. Bottom line, It will accomplish what it set out to do, but unfortunately it does not do any of those things well. It's comfortable, if a little strange to use and does not nick or cut the skin even if you have to use it at strange angles. But for the same tasks there are better options.Beradon

I really love this shaver. After watching many positive review videos and my old shaver died, I bought this and am really impressed. You can shave with or without shaving gel/cream. The shaver gets close but not as close as other shavers, however it is more than close enough for a professional work environment. The biggest plus is that it is extremely safe, and I have been using for over a month and not one skin irritation or nick. Works great on scalp for shaving head also. Is a little slower than shaving with a regular multiblade razor and not as close, but much safer and no shaving cream needed.MojoBBQ

This is the second OneBlade I have owned. As a stand alone, this is a good trimmer, especially for shorter length trimming. I like most of the new design, especially that the handle is slimmer with a better grip. However when compared to the last model, it falls short in allowable max trimming length and ease of adjustment. The reason is due to the rotating blade head. This new feature is not bad to have, though with the narrow blade, I've never felt the need for it. The rotation doesnt allow for a cap like the previous model, which had a simple dial to adjust length, all the way up to 9. This blade has an attachment which you need to rotate with your thumb. It's not the smoothest or easiest operation. It goes up to 5mm, which isn't bad for a face trimmer, but less than the previous. Overall, this is a solid trimmer which will get the job done well. I dont feel the blade rotation is better than an easier and longer guard adjustment.Jeremy O

This shaver is very impressive. I charged it for a couple hours and decided to give it a go on my 4 day stubble. It's worked like a dream, gives a very close shave almost as close at a razor, I was so impressed. I judge my razors based on how well i can get nice clean lines on my goatee and sideburns and this passed both tests! My goatee looks great and my sideburn lines are crisp and clean. Everything you need to keep your self groomed is included in this great little package. It's nice and compact and would be perfect to travel with. It's also rechargeable! I was using before normal shaver where I need separate trimmer but after using this Braun 5 series, I can easily say that it is much better than others especially for wet shaves. I like the flexibility of blades which can be easily adjusted to my facial curves and give me clean shave . Secondly I would say to clean the shaver was very easy the provided brush also helps also to clean. As this is water proof so I am not worrying about being damaged. I also use its trimmer which is simply great means I don't need to keep separate trimner . I can easily change the head and trimmer. I’ve used this once so far, and I’ve got to say it is very impressive. I’ve owned a few electric shavers before and they always promise a ‘close shave’ . closest shave an electric has ever given me personally, although to be honest it’s not as smooth as when I wet shave using disposable razors, Nevertheless, still very happy with the closeness. The precision trimmer works very well too, giving a nice, perfect finish to my sideburns. I must also say that I was surprised at how quiet it was whilst using it, I was expecting it to be louder.. I also found it extremely easy to clean after use, which is a bonus. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone, it really is a good piece of kit and comes in at a very reasonable and affordable price.Hussay05

This is a game changer for me. I have stubble/beard but always like to trim my neck to give a defined line. I usually just use the beard trimmer to create the line and never clip too short as I get a rash very easily. Having used this Braun series 5, it gives me a close shave as I would get with a wet shave and gives me no irritation or rash whatsoever. It is very smooth and gives fantastic results. Whether being used in the dry or in the shower, the results are always amazing. The battery life is very good and seems to charge quickly, there are led indicators on the front to tell you how much charge it has which are handy. The precision trimming tool is also handy to create the line if you do have facial hair. The attachments are interchangeable very easily and also allow for very easy cleaning. The materials used feel premium and make for easy operation. All in all a great shaver.Royst

I bought this model online during the Black Friday sales in November 2021. It was to replace my older model Series 7 which has been a fantastic shaver. Please be aware that the newer generation Series 7 like this one uses a separate precision trimmer head that is not built into the shaver. The precision trimmer is not included in this particular retail kit. And you cannot buy it separately in Australia unless you opt to purchase an entire beard trimming and manscaping kit. I don't have a beard. And I'm not into manscaping. So this shaver is incredibly useless in its current state. Normally I would not have made this error of judgement because I would have purchased in-store after inspecting it. But in-store purchase wasn't possible during COVID-19 lockdown. Shaver Shop referred me to Braun, who referred me to their spare parts distributor who was actually very helpful, but it seems I've bought a dud. I'll start by saying a lot of the reviews I've seen here have been discussing the fact that instructions aren't included and comments about the fact there is no heater/dryer in the base. First off there is literally only 1 button on the shaver and 1 button on the base (outside of the base ejection button for swapping the cleaning juice). If you struggle with this shaver then there are likely bigger problems in your life. This is very simple shaver that seriously needs no instructions. As for the base always launching the cleaning cycle when you only want to charge the shaver… the shaver battery lasts over an hour. My shaves take approximately 5 minutes. That means I could shave, without the need for charging, or cleaning the shaver 12 times. If after 12 shaves you still don't want to clean the shaver then I don't know what to tell you other than you might want to consider evaluating your hygiene habits. Also, the cleaning solution/juice if not used will evaporate, so you might as well use it. I run the cycle after about 3-4 shaves and the next day it's dry and ready to go. Now for the real review… I previously owned a 5 series Braun many years back and more recently owned a 9 series Braun about 3 years ago. I also have owned/tried Remington, Philips, Manscape, and Wahl shavers in the last 3 years so I have a lot of experience and by far this is better than every shaver I have tried, including the 9 series and I'll explain why. First off, my 9 series broke about 3 years ago only 4 months after purchasing it. The trimmer failed to run; the rest of the shaver still functioned. Anyway, I dealt with the customer service and found it lacking. I mailed the shaver off and after calls asking the status, they told me to be patient. 2 months later I moved, lost my USPS tracking receipt, and finally the Braun customer service acknowledged they didn't have the shaver and asking for shipping confirmation. I no longer had the receipt so I couldn't prove I mailed it. $300 down the drain. So, for the next few years I avoided Braun products. I tried many others and finally gave up and settled with disposable shavers. I seen this sale after all this time and decided to try this shaver/Braun again. The motor on this shaver is louder and more powerful than the 9 series I remember. The attachments are easy to swap and use. I found the lack of an in-built trimmer a little frustrating as it takes a bit of time to swap heads. A small sacrifice as the trimmer itself is leaps and bounds stronger than the 9 series in-built shaver and far easier and more precise to use. Now onto a more sensitive topic, trimming of more delicate parts of the body. My god, this shaver has blown me away and establishes its true value here. The included beard/stubble trimmer attachment, normally meant for beards, has been a godsend for that area and blows Manscape products out the water. Honestly Manscape products are far overrated, and I found before this shaver, a Wahl cordless shaver with the correct guide to be much better. The Stubble and Beard trimmer was better than every product I've ever tried, and I can easily say with confidence that there is absolutely nothing better. This was the first shave I ever had that didn't tear me to shreds and cause excessive bleeding there. The shave is also faster as the newfound confidence allows me to shave without worry of nicks. While I will say it did nick once, the nick was barely noticeable or felt and didn't bleed. A serious gamechanger. The included guides that were notches of 1, 2, or 3 were additions nice but a close trim is possible without worry with guide 1. Seriously, this attachment should be marketed completely differently as it's outstanding. I'm speaking again of the Beard and Stubble Trimmer with 2 notch 1 guides, not the Precision Trimmer attachment as I would be far too scared to use that attachment down there. Also, while the Beard and Stubble trimmer is attached you can still run the cleaning cycle when the shaver is inserted into the base! Honestly that was an amazing discovery as the ability of having that attachment cleaned by the base, especially after shaving in that area, was a huge win for hygiene. On to the real purpose of this shaver, your face… It does a great and thorough job but requires many passes. This shaver shines in giving this quality shave without pulling or nicks. It rivals disposable shaver shaves without the irritation. The requirement of some extra passes is worth it. The 9 series did provide a faster shave as it required fewer passes of the same area, but it did not provide a better shave. The difference being the 9 series is almost 2 – 2.5x as expensive and has a far worse trimmer, no beard and stubble trimmer which again shines where you would least expect it to and had suspect reliability. I have given this product 4 stars as the customer service, if you ever need it, is lacking and I’ll likely always have a chip on my shoulder towards Braun for simply makingAlan

I recently bought this machine and this is the first machine I've had with an associated charging/cleaning station. I have previously used Braun shavers for years, but these were not cleaned in this way. Then I wonder about this: The machine was delivered with 1 pc. Braun Clean & Renew, and according to the manual, the machine must be cleaned after each use. Then the contents of the cleaning station will last for approx. 30 days. If I don't clean every day the contents will evaporate within 8 weeks. This kind of fabric is very expensive to buy new, and I wonder if this type of cleaning is necessary. Online, it is also possible to buy a type of powder which, however, must be mixed with some type of ethanol. Then the price will be a fraction of the price for new containers. However, I have managed without such cleaning since I started with Braun shavers 50 years ago. However, according to the manual, I do not need to clean the machine in this way, but only rinse it clean under running water. What do I risk by maintaining the machine without using the cleaning station. Will it then have a limited lifespan? Will the machine have a longer life if I use a cleaning spray and shower my head after each cleaning under water?Ivar

When I was introduced to shaving, I tried my Dad's Sunbeam, Remington foil and a DE analog. I ended up doing the DE and got tired of nicks and cuts and skin irritation. in 1972, I started an almost 50 year relationship with Norelco "rotary" products. I went as high as $200+ in that line and it seems they have plateaued as far as technology advances are concerned. I was fed up with the poor quality of replacement blades available today, so I began a search for a replacement shaver. After reading numerous reviews, mostly pro, I decided to give the Arc5 a shot. All I can say is if you find yourself in my spot, do not hesitate. Get this shaver with the cleaning/charging unit, STAT! PROS: The closest shave I've gotten, next to a razor, EVER. Did NOT irritate my skin (I have sensitive skin) Larger head > shorter shave time Flex head follows your facial contours (jaw line, neck, etc.) Beard "sensor" adjusts to your beard's current length. Trimmer does a good job. Shaver has a "built-in" cleaning function, which you can use if you're travelling, or in between "tank" cleanings. Head size and shaving method delivers a faster shave. The cleaning/charging base has a "Dry/charge" function. CONS: Price of replacement heads and cleaning solution concentrate. I got this in anticipation of my upcoming birthday (thank you, honey!) and read the manual. I HAD to check the unit out, so I put some pre-shave lotion on and charged the shaver. Some people complain about the size of the shaver. It really is comparable to the Norelco I was using, but the shape of the head is what speeds your shave along. (It covers more territory). Since there is usually a break-in time for new shaving methods, I expect my shaves to improve over the next week. I used primarily an up and down motion on my face, then I changed direction and orientation on my chin and neck. One complaint I avoided is on my upper lip I have a moustache, so I didn't have a problem with trying to get a close shave there. After finishing and evaluating the shave quality, I took the head off, and rinsed it and the shaver under the tap. Then, I wiped excess water off both and reassembled the unit and dropped it into the cleaning/charging base and put it on dry. I haven't used the cleaning function of the tank yet, but will update my review after I've done so. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this razor. after a month using every other day I havent experienced any of the negatives I read about. I use it on my head and neck below my beard. I found if I use it every other day or 3rd day on my head it shaves easy and as smooth as a razor. Like all electric razors it does not do well with long hair. the only draw back i have is the razor head is large. Which helps speed up the process doing my whole head but little difficult around the top of my ear to sideburn section. I still think its best razor I have ever used in 20 years though. The charging/cleaning station is so nice. Yea it can be a little loud on the cleaning portion but its the razor turning on and off so what's the difference when you use it? Travel case and option to still sharge it with just the cord is well thought out. Mean I dont have to lug the station with me when I go away for a week. But after 20 use Im still at 80 to 85 percent So i likely wouldnt need to charge it anyway.Abult

I was very hesitant to try an electric razor, considering my beard is full and thick and grows quickly. I had been using a DE razor and wet shaving for the last few years. I tired of the time and blood. I researched the closest cutting electric razor sand this one seemed to be among the best. Turns out that I like it even more than I had hoped. It shaves close and quickly. It allows me to shave daily or go 3 days and handles both situations with comfort. Been using for about a month and I will never go back to blades and cream and the hassle. If I'm careful and focused this razor is basically as close a blade. A solid shave takes under 4 minutes and I experience no issues at all even with somewhat sensitive skin. If you're considering an electric razor, I'd start right here. Pros – Excellent razor. Closest shave I have ever had. Fast and easy shave due to excellent blades. Cons – Requires a bit of maintenance. You need to run the “cleaning program” every day (personally I do it every other day). Some water and a cleaning solution shoots up into the case and cleans the razor once activated (1 pack of solution is provided for one month – available on Amazon sold as a pack for a reasonable price). This seemed like a bit of a pain at first, especially changing the solution every month, but the razor looks brand new and is working like it was just out of box many months later, so I think it’s worth it. Note – the first ten minutes of the cleaning process are VERY NOISY. The last 60 or so of the drying process aren’t too bad. Don’t expect to clean this razor before you head off to work if your partner is within 25 yards. It’s like waking up to someone vacuuming your pillow.Kayak4

The Panasonic Arc 5 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver with Self-cleaning recharger is outstanding. I've used safety razors for years and decided to try and electric. The Panasonic was the best choice!! If you've been using blades it takes around a month for your face to adapt to an electric but after that time using the electric is great!! Especially with the Self-cleaning recharger. It keeps your razor clean and charged so you always get a great shave. Be sure you read all the instructions so you can get the most from your razor.Steve

I have been using this shaver for 2 years now primarily for bald head shaving. I have also found it very useful for neck shaving since I have a heard. The pop up trimmer is very sharp and precise. I use the pop up trimmer just above my top lip to straighten out my beard. This pop up trimmer is my go-to for precise trimmer when I need it as it is sharper than my other beard trimmers. This trimmer is very powerful, long battery life and my favourite part is the cleaning station. All you have to do after a shave is use a brush to remove the hair from the cutting blades, then drop it in the cleaning station and walk away… Excellent. I had a problem with the cleaning station and I was near the 2 year exchange warranty. I highly recommend contacting panasonic directly for this. I contacted best buy and they maintained it's only a 1 year warranty. It is NOT, it's definitely a 2 year warranty. They just shipped me a brand new replacement unit. Awesome!!Anonymous

Basically, I am a confirmed wet-shaver. I bought this device to use during a proposed 4-week driving holiday in Europe, thinking it would be more convenient. Taking that holiday has now become impossible and I am back to my usual domestic routine. I have tried electric shavers in the past and found them good, up to a point, but they have not delivered a close shave comparable with a good sharp wet razor. When my almost 15 year old son and I were asked by Stellar Product Testing Panel to review the Norelco One Blade razor in exchange for a free razor, I was admittedly skeptical. This razor just looks so different than his previous razor I wasn’t sure how it would work. Well, let me tell you, I was so pleasantly surprised how great this little razor is!! My sons previous razor was big, kind of clunky, and had a round “cage” on top. The one blade is compact, and had a flat smooth surface. It’s easy to hold and operate in one hand, and the best part is it doesn’t pull his whiskers like his old electric razor did. I used to have to almost force him to shave before, because pulled whiskers were painful. The Norelco One Blade never pulls hair. He now shaves about every other day and is done in about two minutes. He said he only has to pass over an area once or twice to get a close enough shave that I don’t see the stubble. The battery charge has lasted probably 20 or more shaves, and the original blade is still working perfectly. When this blade needs replacement I will buy them for him because my son says we can throw away the old razor because he’s never going back to it. He would be mortified if he knew I was mentioning it but other teens might be interested in knowing that this One Blade does not bother his pimples or makes him bleed if he shaves over one. We’ve even used the edge of the blade to trim his hairline on the nape of his neck and to edge his sideburns. He says he would prefer the razor come in black, instead of the blue/green color combo because black is manly and he is manly now that he shaves regularly! However, color is unimportant to me as long as the product delivers on its promises, and this one certainly does! The only one small thing that would have made this product better was if somehow it collected the whiskers instead of them falling on the bathroom counter. Not that big of a deal really, as I’ve just trained my son to wipe the counter down after a shave. Got this for my husband and he couldn't even hold his excitement and tested this out before I got home from work. He has a beard year long that he continues to let grow through the winter. For work reasons he needs to keep it trimmed and clean cut. After using the attachment clippers and shortening his hair down. He decided to go straight in starting on his neck with just the blade and without using shaving cream. He said it did a great job at removing the hair and he finished in under ten minutes. He was left with a little stubble that you can't see unless you point it out. I helped him with the back of his neck and it was easy to keep it steady in my hand and I like that I can just go back and forth. I used the edge to get a few strays hairs I missed and only had to do it once. I have to say it worked so good on him and I like how his hair line turned out. A little loud but no louder than most. Really cool that it can be used in the shower and I can see alot of wives stealing this from their husband. Another thing he liked is the length of the charger cord and that it kept it's charge and didn't turn off on him while he was grooming. This is also great for removing patches of chest and back hair. Overall he liked it very much and happy it worked well on his thick beard. The size and weight is perfect and I recommend it for any beard length!Amberrose061980

My 4 star rating might be too high. 3 1/2 might be more accurate. My instructions say that when you charge the razor that the light will stop blinking when it is fully charged (about 2 or 3 hours). However, the first few times I would charge it, the light would still be blinking after 4 or 5 hours. So, after 3 hours I consider it to be fully charged, even though the light is still blinking. The razor needs to be recharged more frequently as compared to previous Norelco razors that I owned. I need to recharge it after about 5 days. Previous Norelco razors I would recharge about once every 10 days. Overall, I still get a nice shave from it, so I am not totally disappointed.PSUVPI

About 5 years ago I bought a low end, series 2000, Norelco shaver and I was impressed with how well it worked for the price. So, it was time to get a new one and I bought a new Series 2000. This time I was horrified with how horrible it was. Low power, low RMP motor, low capacity and low power battery. It takes about 20 passes (literally) over an area to shave without feeling too much stubble. The literature says 40 minutes of charge time but you can feel and hear the motor weakening during the same shaving session, after starting with a full charge. The literature also says something about “self-sharpening blades that cut hair just above skin level”. If that was the design criterion then that is the problem. It appears that the blades glide over the hair. I can appreciate the pressure to keep prices low, but selling is dysfunctional product doesn't make for happy customers. So, why don't I buy a more expensive model? Because the more expensive models have essentially the same mechanical guts, except that they have superfluous and worthless gimmicks such as "self cleaning" or "smart hair sensor". As opposed to a stupid hair sensor? Too bad. My next shaver is going to be some other brand. Side note to the Philips designer,s engineers and bean counters: You never make a newer product that is so obviously worse than an old one.Hairy Dude

ONLY TRIED THIS SHAVER FOR 3 DAYS BUT WANTED TO GIVE MY IMPRESSION AFTER 60 YEARS HAVE SHAVING MY HAND. I HAVE GAINING A LOT OF WEIGHT THE LAST 3 YEARS SO HAS MY FACE. DOUBLE EDGE WASN'T DOING IT UNDER THE LIP AND CHIN AREA. LOTS OF CUTS. BOUGHT THE 2300 CHEAP AND I AM IMPRESS. CLEAN SHAVE AROUND THE CHIN, BETTER THAN BLADE. SECOND, I CAN SIT IN MY LIVING ROOM CHAIR AND 3 MINUTES A DAY , SMOOTH OUT MY FACE WITH NO STUBBLE'S. CONS ON THIS SHAVER IS THE BATTERY. 8 HOURS TO CHARGE SHOULD BE OUTLAWED. NEVER HAD A NI-CAD THIS POOR. VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL OF BATTERY. DOES NOT MATTER AS I HAVE THE POWER CORD PLUG IN NEXT TO MY CHAIR. THEREFORE, IT IS A WINNER FOR ME. This is a great, Great Razor!!! It must be charged for the night or a few hours when you first get it though. You don't need to leave it plugged in though. Once it has been charged fully, you will have several days worth of power. It is very quiet, it gives a really close shave and it is really smooth on the face. In addition, it is very simple to clean. You can removed the guard and it reveals the blades of the razor. You just run some water over the blades and it removes the hair clippings.bj987keller

The Good: Great feel, grip, shave, ease of cleaning, quick charge time, trimmer is handy for sideburns to shape them up between haircuts. The Bad: I have now gone through two of these in about 2 years….the first lasted about 18 mos, the second, about 5. Problem? For whatever reason, after awhile, it will not charge. I also use shaving cream when I get out of the shower and use the razor, rinse it before, during and after use….and always and I mean always, after the period of time, you get up, plug it in, go in the shower, come out, dead. It won't charge. My guess? The Lithium Ion Batts. While ALL batteries have a lifespan, they should be much longer thant this. I rinse the head during shaving (shaving cream buildup and hair) 2-3 times while shaving paying attention to let the water drain down 90-95%….I don't think it's water intrusion….as deep as this thing goes is running it under the faucet head down? I used both the old and new charger….the new one shows all power lights on for about 2-3 seconds, goes dim, dead……there is something about these batteries that are not right….I am off to Walmart this mornign to get a 3rd in less than 3 years THIS time WITH the cheap warranty…..I have used Brauns for over 30 years and the batteries always seem to be the issue…do NOT pack them in luggage that will go in the cargo hold or you will find them dead, not chargeable when you get to your destination…this one is ONLY used at home. I take a cheap corded Braun on the road and it's about 20 years old now, still works but it's a dry shave…irritating…….I like the ability to use shaving cream for a much more comfortable shave but, this battery thing is aggravating…..over the 30 years I have gone through multiple 3, 5, 7 and 9 series razors…they ALL have battery failures eventually…so you end up buying a new one…..why? Because the other brands suck MORE. I have had Remington, Norelco (couldn't shave close with a gun to it's head), Chinese knockoffs even a small cordless from Harbor Freight that despite is size and slow speed delivered a great shave until it quit working…..it seems that if a rechargeable battery is run for 20 mins a day max, 6-7 days a week, it SHOULD last more than 6 months….never dropped, never abused, always left open on the counter after rinsing to let the head and razor dry after separated….still died….ridiculous…..I only hope the warranty is worth something when the next one croaks….no warning either….just dies…..still the best brand overall….Terry

I've never really liked wet dry shavers but this one changed my mind. it shaves flawless and leaves you face as smooth as using a traditional razor. i love that it's wireless and it charges very quickly and stays charged for a great amount of time. and cleaning is a breeze with the included brush and removable heads. you can also remove the head and run it under water for a deep clean. all around this is and excellent shaver.James
