My former tools were not keeping up, and–try as I might–I couldn't seem to ever get all of the spots or get rid of the smell.Enter Angry Orange and the blacklight tool. I used it once, and my carpeted apartment had never smelled better. I was once again confident that I was helping pruppets without screwing over my landlady.The accidents, unfortunately, continued. Never fear, I thought, because I have Angry Orange! However, when I went to use the product a second time, the spray bottle no longer worked. Thinking I had just worn it out with too vigorous use, I transferred the miracle substance to another bottle. Voilá! Once again, my apartment smelled like oranges instead of–you know.Again, though, the next time I tried to use my Angry Orange, the spray bottle no longer worked. I have a small male cat whose age was a little hard for myself and my local vet to pin down in his first few visits. It turns out that although my cat is awfully small, and despite him being cute to where my neighbors think he is a female, he is very much a full grown Tom Cat at this point. He needs to be neutered, but his appointment is still some months away and apparently last month he just decided to become an aggressively territorial little meany and he started spraying anything left unattended whenever he didn't get what he wanted. Mail, packages, a cookie tin (I was also confused at this one), baskets of laundry, a plastic grocery bag, and my entire living room became his primary targets. Up until now I had tried using everything to remove the smell and nothing would work. I'd deep clean the whole apartment, take a walk outside to neutralize my nose, and open my front door again to just be greeted by the same persistent cat spray stench.Cue Angry Orange. I read the reviews and instructions and basically deduced that this should NEVER be used on untreated wood and plastic. Using a little math from the guidelines on the back of the bottle I used 2 Tablespoons (measured with metal measuring spoons) in 16 Ounces of warm water inside of a glass spray bottle ***.it's perfect! I sprayed the carpeted areas I knew for sure that he had targeted heavily and I even sprayed some onto a rag to wipe down nearby hard surfaces and walls that may have been caught in the crossfire. I kid you not it worked almost immediately. Even after initially spraying I smelled the horrendous cat spray stench after a panicked search I found a literal gooey sticky puddle of cat urine that had congealed *retch* under a glass vase. I sprayed the vase and washed it down, plus I sprayed the surface it was sitting on and wiped it clean ***.gone Perfect. Absolutely KILLED the stank.Once the carpets dried I used my carpet shampooer (Hoover PowerDash for Pets) with just warm water and a bit of urine neutralizer and the results are great! Just make sure to fully empty and clean your shampooer afterwards to avoid the plastic destruction other reviews have shown. It's not advisable to use Angry Orange directly in these types of machines as Orange oil/peels are somewhat caustic.H2O

Our cat of 5 years decided to start peeing on the carpet out of no where. I can't be 100% sure why she started doing this, but I assume it's because she's a cat, and I had the nerve to come home after work one day and pet her in a way where she would be forever disgusted with me. (i took her to the vet, nothing wrong medically)It was a fairly small area on the capet, so I decided to dump a gallon of highly rated enzyme cleaner thinking that would for sure do the trick. I shouldn't have expected too much, the enzyme cleaner was only like $50.00. Fast forward a day or two, and the carpet smells like enzyme cleaner and cat pee, which in my opinion, was more offensive than just the cat pee.At this point I can't get the smell of enzyme cat pee out of my nose, so I hire professional carpet cleaners. $308.00 later my carpet looks like the day it was installed , but I also had the brand new carpet / cat pee smell which it didn't when it was first installed.At this point I thought the only solution would be to replace the carpet with wood flooring. I mean, I'm already $1000 in the hole from vet visits, carpet cleaning, cat pee enzyme enhancer, most expensive cat food known to man, thinking that would make her stop being mad at me. And then I stumbled across this little gem as a last resort.I receive the shot glass of angry orange, put some in a spray bottle with some water, and give the carpet 5-6 sprays and go to bed. When I wake up what do I smell, nothing, absolutely nothing. I stick my nose to the carpet and just smell a slight hint of orange, and precisely 4% cat pee. So I get out my trusty spray bottle again, give it a few more sprays, wait 10 minutes, dry the carpet, and only 1% cat pee. I am fairly confident after 1-2 more times I won't even be able to smell it when I bury my nose in the carpet.I'm not sure what wizard made this stuff, but I feel like I should start a go fund me for him, because he saved me several thousand dollars in new floors.Oh, and I case anyone was wondering, my cat did stop peeing on the carpet. ***Update***I have been using this since bringing a (very stubborn) puppy home. Not just for her but also the not so happy cats. I love how it smells and love even more that it works wonderfully on breaking down the urine. I am usually skeptical of these types of products but this really gets the job done! Unfixed female cat marking EVERYTHING and Nature's Miracle wasn't stopping her. If we forgot to put up the bathmat, she'd shishi on it. And that was almost every night! I ended up throwing away a brand new memory foam mat because washing it so many times ruined the foam. She did it on the couches, on futons, it was getting ridiculous!This stuff worked like a charm! My mom's dog is 17 years old, blind and incontinent. Bless his little heart… We are pretty good about his routine and taking him out on a schedule but as you can imagine, accidents will and DO happen. Now I did not have to spend alot on this product. But the claims made for the product sounded EXACTLY like what I was looking for. However, honestly speaking, I will tell you exactly my personal experience. It has an odd smell, not horrible but just odd. It does take care of lingering urine odors – for about 2-3 days, then the urine odor returns. So the MAIN question on the cleaning part of this product is answered. If the urine odor returns, I'm assuming the urine us still there. All of the reviews that state this thing works are true. My teenagers were in charge of keeping the litterbox clean because we have two cats. They do an excellent job of keeping up with it in general. They did, however, become a touch sluggish over the break. The smell was so awful that I was practically retching by the time I smelled it from down the hall and told them to clean it. The damage had been done, even with the clean litter, and all I could smell was cat urine. So I came on here and read all the 5-star ratings and decided that even if it only functioned half as well as the reviews said, it would be a success. So when it arrived, I just opened the bottle and poured about a third of the liquid over our laminate floor and sprayed it on the walls surrounding the litterbox. I set it aside for an hour. However, even standing outside the room, we instantly saw a difference. I also brought the litterbox outside and sprayed it with this stuff, but I didn't let it sit, instead wiping it down with baby wipes. After an hour, I washed everything out, replaced the clean litterbox in the room, and went outside to clear my nose to see if I could smell cat urine. I couldn't smell it. My children couldn't either. I invited my MOTHER (who despises cats and is a stickler for cleanliness) over for the grand verdict, and asked her to smell not only the house, but the room as well. She was taken aback by the fact that she couldn't smell anything, and she actually stated it smelled GOOD! It does have a light herbal aroma to it that isn't bad. I wish I could give this product 10 stars. It is an absolute miracle worker. This is the dog formula, and it comes in a variety of scents, but the scent doesn't matter. This will take a giant dog urine stain out of white fabric right in front of your eyes. If you get a black light and find the spots around your house, you can use this and see that it takes everything away. There is also a different formula for cats since their urine is different. I bought this because my dog peed on the bath rug twice when I was away from home too long. After using the spray, she began to use the rug a little more often. I moved and threw out the old rug without thinking too much about it. After a couple times of being gone too long, she peed in a couple spots around the new house so I tried the spray again. Now she pees in the house 1-3 times per week, where I've sprayed. So, at the very least, the spray doesn't work. Now that I've read reviews on other NM products, I wonder if she wants to pee because of the spray. Save yourself the frustration and just don't buy it.Jess J88

Bought a house and while having new floors installed they found a lot of spots where dogs had lifted their leg peed all over the walls! Gross! The floor installers acted as if that's a normal thing. I've never had a dog hike their leg inside my house and pee! Anyways, I had to quickly research what was best and then what was available close by. Nature's miracle was within the top five. During the initial spraying time it smelled great. It was the original scent. I soaked all of the areas and then let it dry overnight. I then soaked the areas more in the morning because the smell came back. Eventually within approximately 36 hours the smell was gone by only approx 60%. The solution was to put in the floor and seal the smell in. Luckily that worked but not truly a fix. If I had more time I probably would have gone to another store further away and chosen a different product but due to the installers having a short time frame I could not. I would not recommend on deep set in stains odors.

I've used this a few times now. It has a pleasant smell and worked ok on getting stains out. I have 2 small dogs that think that our couch is their dog bed so it can get a little stinky. I used this on the couch and it worked pretty good on getting out the smell. My only complaint is it didn't have a good even spray to cover the area. It was more like a solid stream coming out. I have a male Pug that has been very difficult to housebreak. He chose the back of my recliner to “mark” himself several times so I got this Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor remover to try to clean it up and remove the odor. This stuff worked great! It’s a foam cleaner and very easy to use. Spot test an area prior to using to make sure it doesn’t affect the color. You shake the can, hold it upside down and apply the foam to the treatment area, making sure to cover it completely with the foam. Wait 10-15 minutes and then blot the foam up with a clean cloth. Let the area dry for 24 hours. For odor removal, wipe up the stain, apply the foam to saturate the area but don’t blot it up. Leave it on for 24 hours and the odor will fade. This advanced stain remover worked so well on the stain and urine odor. I wish I had found it sooner! I highly recommend this Natures Miracle Stain and Odor remover!Pdvdb70

I’m rather ocd about smells and cleaning, but even with cleaning a “puppy puddle” quickly, it can also quickly start to smell like a men’s restroom when it comes to two little boys having a couple accidents a day each. A lot of the products I’ve tried haven’t worked as good as this! My dog loves to go on the furniture at night and clean himself. Unfortunately this leaves puddles and wet spots on our microfiber couches. I just spray some of this on the wet spot, blot up the excess and let it dry. I have 2 dogs and have used furry freshness on dog urine, vomit, and poop stains on our rug and bed and love how it works to remove odor and leave behind no frangrance or odors. I’m so happy to have found a product that removes odors and stains so well. Just spray to saturate and let it dry. I do feel the need to keep pets away from product while it’s drying but that’s a small inconvenience compared to the results I’ve gotten.

Lots of carpet in this house, with previous pet owners. I didn't have this product when I tackled the first carpet clean session. I decided to try this product and ordered 2 bottles. (with discount!!, Thank You, Bissel!). They arrived in time for my 2nd cleaning session. Important for best/better results, follow the instructions, generously squirt the product and use wet towels ( wetness level, as in towels that have gone through a washer spin cycle or maybe even a little wetter, but not drippy wet), cover the areas with towel(s) for 24 hours. I used up both bottles for the second cleaning session, due to flights of carpeted stairs and larger room carpet areas needing this special pre-treatment. Another reviewer asked for this product in a larger refill size. I like that suggestion and put me on the list to order, when available. I've been using this product for several years to clean up my dogs' accidents. Even when I've discovered an 'old' stain, I will still spray it with this product & leave it on for 10 minutes. If there's several stains I use my Bissell carpet shampooer. But for a single small stain, I will put some of the shampoo in hot water in the sink, rinse out my rag in it & blot it by hand. The stains always come right out & leave no residue behind. I wouldn't use anything else to clean up after my pets. Thank you Bissell!

My household is busy, full of kids, dogs and constant traffic of everyone coming and going. Finding products that fit my lifestyle has been tough, aggravating, and frustrating. I was really excited to find biokleen and read about the actual science behind their products. I rolled up my sleeves and dove right into the worst room of our house- the dog room. Ok, so we have two chihuahua dogs and potty training them has been a complete nightmare, so when we are not home, they are left in our sunroom. However, it never fails, that they always have accidents waiting for me to clean when we get home. This Bac-Out was a perfect solution- it was safe for my ceramic tile, actually got down to breakdown and absorb the mess, and completely eliminated the stains unlike anything else I have seen! As luck would have it, my son got a horrible bloody nose after this product arrived. I used it to spot treat the carpet from the trail he left through the house. It worked fantastic. I like the fact that I can pour it on the spot rather than having to spray and spray to cover the soiled area. It worked like magic getting all the blood out of our carpet. The stain lifted on the first try and took minimal effort with dabbing. I only had to apply the product one time to get the spot completely out of the carpet. The spots have not attracted dirt, and the carpet has not changed in texture where I used the product. It has a wonderful fresh smell. I really like the fact that it is plant based, but just as effective. I imagine this would work great on getting stains out of clothes as well too. I’ve heard of this brand before but have never used it until now and wow, I’m impressed. It does an amazing job at removing stains and neutralizes odors. If you have kids & pets, you definitely need this. I have a Beagle who does have accidents from time to time especially when no one lets him out and he’s left by himself. I just blot up the mess (paper towels work best because I can just throw them away) then I squirt a decent amount on the stain and blot that up. The smell is gone and stays gone. I used this on my area rug and it didn’t stain or bleach it at all. It has a fresh lemon lime scent and it smells clean. So I was curious when it said this can be used for stains. On a different area rug in my living room, my son decided to use marker to color on my rug (I posted before & after pictures to show). We were always cleaning. We ended up getting a gallon. The price worked out way cheaper for us at the time. We would bounce between this product and the white bottle one. When I used this product to get pet stains out of the carpet, I remember at first it worked good, but then after awhile the stains would slowly creep back in, even if it looked like they were gone after following the instructions. So I did not really like this product as much as I wanted to cuz the product did not get rid of the stains, just made them go away for a little while before they would end up coming back. It would work on the newer, not as deep stains, but the deep stains that were maybe a little more set in, this product did not work as good as I wanted it to. Bissell Is usually the brand to go to for pet stains, so I was a little disappointed it didn’t work as much as I wanted it to.

Don't know how I managed without this product, before. I have been using this for almost a year now for times when my dog can't get out (really severe weather) and misses the wee-wee pad (which does happen on occassion). If it is solid matter, I just pick it up with toilet paper, wipe the spot gently with a paper towel to remove any excess material, then spray the area and wait a few minutes. I wipe afterward with more paper towels and — all better, no oder, no stain. If it is urine, I usually use enough towels to blot it up first, then spray liberally, wait a few minutes and blot away! I moved into a house where 2 dogs tore up the house because of negligent pet owners. one dog was larger and was only let out once or twice a day on his leash to do his business. they gave away the smaller dog eventually because it was hyperactive and kept urinating on the carpet. they abandoned the house and their mess along with it… the slumlord vacuumed but I went over it with the Arm and Hammer animal odor eliminated stuff and my Dyson ball for animals vacuum, then let the house air out for a few hours. it perfumed the smell and still reeked of dogs. then I rented a Rug Doctor from Wal Mart and used the Rug Doctor shampoo for animals… I went over the carpet twice (spraying forward and back) and once again opened the windows and doors for a few hours. keeping in mind my 2 year-old son has had allergic conjunctivitis and a fever from going in and out of this disaster area for 2 days, I am enraged at this point because the overwhelming perfume smell was gone but the dog smell was still obviously there. I went to Petco last night to find ANYTHING with a hefty price tag on it that looked like it would work (without having to rent a carpet cleaner again) and bought this for $15.99 along with a lavender-scented Arm and Hammer odor-eliminating candle (which I haven't tested yet). I went over every inch of that God-forsaken carpet… today, the air in that placed is finally neutralized!!! there is a faint smell of the spray but 1.) I cant express how much I don't care, considering what I've been through, literally, already and 2.) that will be remedied with an air purifier and my candle (or any oil burner, diffuser, or potpourri- I never recommend air sprays). my only suggestion is that if you are under the same circumstances I was and plan on spraying as much as I did, wear a rubber glove because it leaks onto your fingers and the smell doesn't wash off. that said, I suggest renting a carpet cleaner using this brand's shampoo to save yourself time, effort, and frustration, if you ever find yourself in my situation… and apparently order it online since it's cheaper?Raynie

Directions 1)Before using, test surfaces to be treated for color fastness by applying to a hidden area; wait five minutes then wipe with cloth. If color is removed from the test area, do not use Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula on those surfaces. 2) Always use Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula full strength. 3)Always use Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula first! Other cleaners and detergents may fail and chemically set stains that will be impossible to remove. 4) Shake well before using. For Stain Removal: 1)Wipe up as much of stain as possible, then thoroughly soak stain with Nature's Miracle Oxy formula. 2) Wait five minutes, then wipe away stain with a cloth. 3) While treated areas dry, keep pets away. For tough stains, use a stiff bristle brush. If stain is not completely removed, re-soak area and allow Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula to work for one hour, then wipe stain with a cloth. For Odor Elimination: 1) Wipe up excess odor-causing material, then thoroughly soak area with Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula. 2)Wait five minutes, then blot dry with a cloth. Allow to dry completely before expecting complete odor elimination. 3) While treated areas dry, keep pets away. For tough odors in carpets (eg urine) apply enough to reach all odor-causing material. This may mean lifting carpet and applying directly to the pad and floor. Wait one hour, then blot dry. Allow treated area to air dry completely before expecting complete odor elimination. For Laundry Use: Saturate stain and odor areas with Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula at full strength before washing. Then, wash as usual.

The initial smell of a soiled area is rough. It smells horrible. However, with each use after, it tends to ease up and smell more like the orange scent.
