I purchased this in the beginning of July 2022. It malfunctioned immediately (it was scary- as you can see the treadmill would just turn off when I touched the hand sensors). Something stopping when going that fast all of a sudden is dangerous. I’ve contacted their team and they told me the ordered parts but are on back order. Then they said they had to reorder the parts. Today is 11/4/22 and the treadmill is still not fixed. I guess 4 months of nothing is an okay way to treat their customers. I’m at the point where I’m so frustrated- the email chain is long and they keep talking in circles. They’ve also said to contact Amazon to fix the problem. They won’t do it themselves. The description says it has a manual incline of three positions. However, the one I received does not have any manual incline options. The main reason I purchase this one was so that I could do the manual incline as needed. For that reason I am very disappointed in the purchase. Outside of that everything else is fine. There are several poor things about this treadmill: The software is terrible. Despite Bowflex trying to charge you a premium ($20 a month) for the JRNY stuff, the software is not intuitive or easy to understand and there is not a guide or walkthrough (other than a brief walk through that doesn't really explain most of the features when you first sign in). You cannot use the screen for watching videos, etc. Unless you have an active JRNY membership (again, $20 a month). Even then, the only video streaming services you can use are Disney, HBO, Prime, and Netflix. You cannot use Youtube or whatever other apps you want, despite this being a tablet running a custom version of Android. I believe Bowflex locked these features behind the JRNY subscription because there is no other reason to use JRNY because it's not good and they just want that sweet, recurring subscription revenue despite not providing a good service. The screen is also very poor quality. I'm not sure what the resolution is or what type of screen it is, but it looks like you're watching through a dirty monitor because of the poor image quality. I have better screens on laptops that I had in college 20 years ago. The Bluetooth heart rate monitor does not work. It charges for a couple of hours and then glows solid green to show that it is fully charged, but then it does not turn on. This makes sense, since it is obviously very cheaply made. Overall I am very disappointed in the treadmill. This is my second Bowflex purchase; the first was the select-tech dumbells, which were very high quality and well worth the money. However, this experience has turned me off to Bowflex. Since I have the extended return period, I am still considering returning the product, but I am weighing that against my desire to purchase and assemble another treadmill. I've been a Bowflex user since 1999. I first bought a Bowflex Motivator and yes, it was the original one. I used this Bowflex for 20yrs. Yes, 20yrs! The other time was storage and adding up times I didn't use it. I updated cables and handles and only noticed a slight change in the rods as lost resistance but wasn't much still very usable. I did give it away but as a young man at the time I absolutely loved it and cared for it. I wanted something new and knew Bowflex has come a long way since my first purchase, and the time it lasted, I knew I wasn't buying anything if it wasnt BOWFLEX. Plus, Bowflex and I go back a long time. I decided to get the Bowflex Treadmill 22. Thanks to their easy financing like last time, I was blessed with having the opportunity to buy something that will give whole body workout that will work great for my entire family interest and fitness levels. I finished my purchase and how they sent a 418lbs package through shipping at lightening speed as they did was astonishing. Just made me feel once again Bowflex wants to keep customers very happy. Yes, I said 418lb package and yes I was disturbed when I found this out, BUT… It's may be heavy package but manageable. It really is! Two people can slide it to where ur going to place it and when you open it may seem very over whelming at all the pieces before u but, the weight is now manageable piece by piece. Now, the over whelming feeling with all these pieces is to relax and don't even sweat it. There is a video that u can watch as u put it together step by step plus the direction is very layman terms. Halfway through assembly u will be banging it out and be super excited. After u have it altogether u will instantly know this treadmill a beast. It's sturdy and the design feels slick and sexy. You have controls everywhere you will hold on and features galore with JRNY. If you want something real then Bowflex in my book knocked it out the park once again. Will not be disappointed!
Where do I begin…. The treadmill by itself is really nice, HOWEVER, you can't really review the treadmill by itself since you MUST use the screen to begin walking /running. In other words you can't just click the start button, or the speed controls to start a workout. You have to first turn the display on, wait quite a while for it to actually turn on, and then you have to select manual workout which is buried in the list. The following are a few notes I jotted down regarding dumb stuff about the software on the display. – [ ] Accidental safety cord detachment completes the workout which means your treadmill stops completely and you have to start a new workout loosing the total progress of your run. – [ ] Can't just start the treadmill using the start button and number pads – [ ] Over 15% grade incline causes loud squealing and burning smell – [ ] Finishing a show on Netflix I can't switch to another streaming service without completing the workout and again completely coming to a stop for several minutes while you navigate the app to start another workout. – [ ] Bluetooth pairing does not "show" connected headphones but the do work, they just show up as paired. I have to Un-pair the headphones and re-pair them in order to get audio working again – [ ] Speaker quality is utterly terrible for such an expensive machine, headphones are definitely required – [ ] Button feedback is terrible and the on screen readouts are delayed in updating enough that double presses are almost always the case (#sweepstakes entry)

Let me tell you. I wasn't sure about this treadmill, but when I got it set up, which didn't take much effort/knowledge at all, and like someone else on here stated, it's almost addicting to use ! Dr said for me to get some walking in; I work a desk job all day. And because it's manual and inclined, boy do you get a workout ! After like 10 minutes, here comes the sweat and I feel good afterwards, like I got the blood moving. And you can run on it, although I'm a senior and do not run and you also can hold onto with one hand and swing a weight in the other. I definitely approve of telling others if you're looking for some walking exercise in your home, this is the one to buy. I feel like I did cardi with it ! And it doesn't take much effort to walk on it either, being manual. I feel with manual, unlike an electric one, you get more of a workout because you work your legs at your pace/speed, which is what I wanted. This is a great treadmill if you just want to get some exercise while watching TV. Positives: very easy to put together; works great; doesn’t take up much room, tracks time, distance, calories, and speed. Within the first three minutes my heart rate was up and my calves began to burn because of the incline. Although you have to hold onto the railings the entire time, your arms are engaged by holding your body from going into a run. Negatives: Cannot adjust the incline; have to hold onto the railings the entire time or you’ll be in a sprint.Sally
First of all, it was easy to install. Everything you need to install this equipment is there, even the tools. Make sure you lubricate the belt upon completion. Its on a incline to help the belt move. I'm 5'9 and I'm not the suggested weight limit. Not to far off, but yeah, I took a chance. I'm on a mission. I'm in a apartment. This is perfect for me. Its not noisy to disturb the tenants beneath me. I just did a solid 10 minutes to test. I usually walk on the treadmill at the gym at a 10.0 incline at 3.0 speed for an hour. This treadmill got my heart rate up and had me sweating quicker than the electric treadmill at the gym in the 10 minutes quickly. I'm going to go ahead and say I love this treadmill. I highly recommend it. I do recommend following the size limits to a degree. Its working for me, but I'm tall and I have an A – shape. For $151, try it. If you're too big after trying it, its motivation to lose and use to maintain your weight loss. I love it. I also have Sunny Health's mini stepper and squat row & ride machine. Bought this treadmill largely in part because I was on the hunt for one that wasn't overly complicated. Even if I'm on a treadmill that has a built-in tv, I always opt for my iPad and stream whatever I want that way, so this one is perfect. The integrated app option is great for a guided workout, but also don't have the bulky screen getting in the way when I want to watch a show or live TV. It folds up nicely, just like it said it does, and is easy enough even for me (I'm a small-ish woman) to do. Buttons are clear and easily accessible, although I do wish the MPS had every-mile-increment buttons. I tend to run close to the front of the belt, and sometimes treadmills have handlebars or other parts that get in the way. This one is perfect for the way I run, but of course is all personal preference. Not too bulky, decently quiet. In all, great purchase and I feel good about the price point it's at. Absolutely love my treadmill. It took two months to get it which I understand with everything that is happening in the world. When I called to ask a question the person who answered was extremely rude and condescending. It was as though I had put them out by calling. They pointed out that I had opted for the delivery only option not set up. I said I wasn’t given the option. They rudely said, that’s because you aren’t in Ontario. I thought why would you bring it up then. When it finally came to delivery the company they used said it’s curbside only. I thought this was ridiculous as it’s a two hundred pound treadmill. Great treadmill – structurally sound, easy, simple to program, no fussy electronics that we wouldn't use, plus a built-in fan. I miss the treadmills that used to have the heart rate sensors, the ones you could put your weight and height to better calculate your calories burned, the ones who had workout program buttons and didn't require you to spend more money on an app you do not want or need. But aside from that, this machine is frustrating to put together eveb with two people. The pieces for the arm rails or handle bars do not fit together nicely as they should making the treadmill look wonky. Also, I looked to see how long the machine is supposed to stay paused, I read somewhere that it should be around 10 mins but I have timed it several times and it cuts of at the 2 min mark. Just for that reason, I would love to return it but I am over the ridiculous 2 week return policy. No one takes a less than 2 minute break. My polar watch stays paused for longer than 10 mins, so absurd. And I tried to reach out to the pro form/my fit company and haven't heard a peep back so please shop wisely and I'd say steer clear. The package is delivered in 1 piece and it is very heavy to be moved by 1 person. So we unboxed it and took some of the smaller heavy parts like the diagonal legs and the top console separately down to the basement. Taking the base of the machine on which we run is heavy and a pain to move down to the basement as well but I think that's expected – I thought you cant have a stable treadmill if it's lightweight right? Ok so at that point, as per the instruction manual, 80% of the job was done: taking the beast down the basement. I was expecting to assemble it in another 1 or 2 hours – it looked easy. However, that's when it started to get horrible. there's a simple step 6:remove and discard the indicated screws (E). The problem is that it took me me 2 hours to remove those screws because they were stuck so bad that after a few attempts, they got striped and then there was no grip at all. Now, I go to youtube: "how to get a stuck screw out?" turns out there are kits available at amazon and menards to do this. Next I get a vice grip to twist these screws out and hurt my elbow. Then I get a plumber's wrench to get a grip on the screws from the outside and turn them anticlockwise. 2 hours to get that last line of the simple step 6 done. Next, step 8 and 9 also look easy but the problem is that the console does not sit right on the hand rails.It fits right on 1 side at a time but not on both. so now i go back and adjust the 2 legs and somehow try to position them so that the console sits and can be screwed on BOTH sides. Step 10: it looks so easy in the manual but the screws just wont go in. these are the same holes that the screws didnt come out of in step 6 so at this point I am 100% convinced that these handrails are defective. the console sits on the handrails, the screws had to be discarded from the handrails and these new screws also go over the handrails. Every step that I have to do anything with the metal handrails just doesnt work. I still havent been able to screw those 4 screws in.Aby
It took me about 2 hrs to put this machine together by myself. I’m a 37 yr old female, so no you don’t need two people. The screw heads for the handles are too small and slide right through the holes in the handles. I’m going to glue them on or get screws with bigger heads. Also, there’s no holes anywhere on the side rails for the upright latch to go. So now, I either have to drill out my own holes or not use the latch…the upright aspect is what I was looking at when purchasing this type of machine, so yeah I’m aggravated that there’s no holes. The machine does seem sturdy, but I haven’t had a chance to even turn the thing on since I’ve yet to move it into my house. I built it in the garage and can’t move it inside since there’s no dang latch holes. Here’s to hoping there’s no other issues with this machine cause I’m going to go insane if I have to take this dang thing back apart to return it. Profit, get better quality control to check what you’re sending out and get better screws. Also, I loathe the BILT app instructions. We need paper instructions that are easier to follow.Stacie8888

I love this treadmill ! I got this so I could walk in the A/C and beat the Florida heat, and it serves its purpose well. I wanted one with an incline to up my game, and this one goes to 10.0 incline as well as 10 MPH. Weight limit was also an issue as I have seen many with a 250lb limit, but this one is 300lbs so anyone in the family can use it. For walking or running it is solid, and the Walmart 3 year extended warranty is a great addition to ensure it lasts for years and years. It runs smooth, the incline is smooth, and the display is nice and large and bright. It's a little more narrow than others, but not too narrow to walk or run, but if you walk towards the front you may hit your arms on the treadmill arms depending on how wide you swing them. It is long enough though to step back a bit. The width is the only thing I can see as being compact. I have read from others that putting a tablet in the holder blocks the controls, but I have a 7" tablet, and at landscape you can still see the display just fine. It does cover the buttons that increase the speed or incline, however, those controls are also on the center arm so no problem. I will say it sits up high — 8 " — so if you are tall and have it placed under a ceiling fan you may want to reconsider placement. It hasn't been an issue for me. I'm more out of shape than him and older so I chose a fast walk. The speed shifts and the incline work as they should. Had it not been for that issue it would easily be a five star product. Btw, I used the 3D app on my iPad to assemble it and even that did not explain how to fix the problem.Jj

So therefore you cannot use it with the incline in conjunction with the iFIT online classes and exercises. When I called the number to iFIT for technical support two different times they told me The first call that I would have to find an I fit exercise that had the incline in it going up and down but the second time I called they said that my machine that I bought had no incline even though it says it on the box then they tried to tell me it was a different model but it was not and basically that if I wanted any resolution I would have to take it back to Walmart so another words they put it back as Walmarts fault. Even the sales man at Walmart told me that it had an incline when I bought it because he read the product information on the box. I had to pay someone to bring it to me from Walmart to my home and I also had to pay somebody to assemble it and it was not cheap! So now I have to pay someone to disassemble it and take it back to Walmart because pro-form would not take responsibility for miss labeling the packaging of the treadmill now I do not have any idea what I’m going to do besides the fact that they told me that the only thing I could do was just use it without the incline but that is not why I bought it I bought it to use with my iFIT subscription! This was a decent treadmill for the price. The things that irritated me was putting on a bar at the bottom of the treadmill. 1.) I had trouble lining up the holes with the screws. 2.) the little bar that holds the treadmill up if you want to fold the treadmill would not screw all the way in (even with a drill) so I can not fold my treadmill. 3.) the treadmill states that it is locked until activated. When you get to the site it’s a set up to get you to buy a membership. I THINK NOT. After reading some reviews and a YouTube video I found out that 1.) you need to get down low in front of the treadmill ( almost under it) there’s a flip switch from off to reset. First you need to flip that button to reset. Once this is done your screen will say HELLO. You will then hold the Bluetooth button down for about 30 seconds and it will bring up zeros, enabling you to hit start and the treadmill will work. 8 months post partum mom here and I hate leaving my baby to go to our apt complex gym so I decided to shell out the $300 for this basic treadmill and its just what I needed. Dont talk yourself out of why you dont need this treadmill or how its hard to lose the unwanted weight, just buy this and walk when its convenient for you and your schedule. The convenience of having a treadmill at your place is awesome. Its not too loud to workout with. My baby took a nap while I got my steps in. With a healthy eating lifestyle and this machine, i will be summer ready before I know it! I assembled it by myself. The box is super long and heavy. The only part that was time consuming was screwing in the base. You have to make sure you lean the treadmill on its side but not entirely, it would be helpful to have someone keep it lifted on its side or lean it on something sturdy as you screw in the pieces, be sure to place all 4 screws in the holes before screwing them in. The only thing that is annoying is that the screws that are supposed to secure the folding latch are too big so Im still trying to figure that part out. Other than that the treadmill holds up well. There are definitely some stability issues with the upright supports/handlebars. There are four screws that go into the base from the "upright" supports; the two on the left side couldn't screw into their holes because it wasn't drilled correctly. I forced it in as much as I could after stripping the metal some, but they still stick out and it makes the upright rock some from the base. I stood it up and went to put the handlebars on and ran into the same problem; there was too much resistance on the screw for it to go in all the way (I did follow the instructions and put all screws in before tightening, so I know it wasn't a torque issue). All of this together means the upright stand rocks a lot, making so I can't put much weight on it. The belt is also super loud and squeals occasionally (I weigh 235), which is annoying of course but not detrimental to its basic role of being a treadmill. For the cost, I am happy to say it works, but doesn't operate as smoothly as I had hoped.Amethyst

Just received the C2 and what they don’t tell you is that when you adjust the belt it’s tightening the back portion of the belt and when it does this you have a REALLY hard time unfolding it. I’m not very big (5’4” and 135lbs) and I can’t unfold it without someone holding down the front. Further, it makes an awful noise. It’s not quiet at all. The rep said he’ll have a technician contact me within 24 hours to see if it’s defective. It’s defective if it’s not doing what is advertised. You say it’s quiet, not so. I've been using this for almost two weeks now. Every day I get my 10,000 steps in and I'm loving not having to go outside in the frigid New England weather! Really love this machine so far! I work in a very quiet cubicle space with 15 or so others. This treadmill is super easy to use, works great and is actually pretty quiet! Only the people right next to me can hear anything. The motor doesn’t make any noise, but there is some light sound from the belt moving and my actual walking. It beeps multiple times when starting and once when you change speeds, which is a little annoying. But once you get going, the only sound is from the belt and walking. When I received it, I was able to remove it from the box myself and wheel it into position. It’s not overly heavy. Simply plug it in and it’s ready to go. I have used it 2-3 hours each day while I worked. It’s very easy to get used to, and doesn’t affect my ability to type or get work done. The feet on the machine do create an indentation in the carpet, so you may want to consider a mat underneath. Very pleased with this purchase so far. Now I’m just hoping it lasts a decent amount of time since I’ll be using it frequently!Sarah E.
I'm a full time student, mom, and I work full time. It's important that I be able to multitask and this is perfect since it's difficult to find time for the gym or to even go for a walk. I put this treadmill under a standing desk so I can do my homework while I walk on the treadmill. Great for multitasking and brain function. We live in an apartment, so my bedroom is pretty small and this treadmill fits perfectly in it without taking up too much space. The wheels make it easy to move from room to room as desired and to put away under the bed. It is a little bit heavy, but hey, I can build up my arm muscles a bit by moving it around. My 11 year old seems to enjoy it as well (with supervision as well). It comes with a small bottle of lubricant as well as a hex key allen wrench to tighten the belt as needed. I purchased this to train for an upcoming half marathon and, for me, it is adequate. HOWEVER, I am not a "runner"…I jog. This says it goes as high as 6mph. This is NOT accurate. On any other treadmill I jog at about 4.8-5.0 so I thought this treadmill would be perfect. Sadly, I get this to 6.0 and although it is ok for my jog I can't really tell how far I am going. In other words the treadmill thinks its going 6mph so after 60 minutes it says I've gone 6 miles, but I haven't…I try and get an accurate distance on my garmin, but since its indoors my garmin is never accurate either. Bottom line is….I kept it to avoid the hassle of returning it and because I know that i run about 4.5-5mph so I am good just using time and ignoring the distance…BUT, if you ever need to go faster than 5mph this is NOT your treadmill.Laurie C.
