I at least had 3 years of dirt on my grout…When I finally noticed that my grout was now black and not white…I first tried the lemon and baking soda remedy…which seem to do okay but alot of work for a kitchen floor then I searched at home depot and found this grout cleaner. I tried it and did exactly what the directions said after about 1 hour of air drying I came back to scrub the grout with a grout scrubber which I also got at home depot and my grout went from black to white! On more stubborn stains I found a small brush helped as they suggested in the instructions. I thought letting the product sit longer would help more, but it just dries up and doesn''t make much difference. I tried this product in the utility room and adjoining bathroom used to enter from outdoors. It worked wonderfully on the vinyl tiles on the floor. Road tar often gets tracked in and is nearly impossible to get off. I let it soak a bit then scrubbed with the machine and presto- gone. This is the only cleaner that has successfully removed deep stains in my shower grout. The bleachy cleaners did not work and they stunk up my bathroom (and my towels). The steamer required a lot sweat, left me with a basket full of soggy towels, and still couldnt wet get the stubborn stains out. Then I stumbled upon Wet and Forget on a YouTube of all places. It not only removed the stubborn stains, but did it with no effort and had a surprisingly pleasant smell (I realize that was intentional until after it worked its little miracle). Functionally this product works very well. We are on the second bottle. Their web site implies a long hose allowing one to keep the container on the floor while spraying but that is not the reality as you need to hold the container in one hand while spraying. If the sprayer hung down it dripped the solution on the floor after using.
The second container now has an on/off valve in the cap that the first container did not have. Is it a safety feature or to prevent dripping? With the on/off valve added, a pause is needed after each spray to allow the solution to fill the sprayer to get a full spray. If the spray is pulled too fast, only a small amount of solution is sprayed taking twice as long to cover an area. To get a full spray you squeeze, pause, squeeze, pause. Did the company really test the added on/off valve as it appears to be restricting the flow to the sprayer. Fortunately I had the first container and switched the spray/hose assembly to the new container to solve the need to pause between sprays.
Sure hope the company can fix the new spray issue being experienced and solved by using the old spray assembly.
A real product improvement would be to have a place to store the spray assembly between applications.Carroll Dudley

I bought this to remove the White haze (efflorescence) from my Paving Stone. This does work, but I am giving this a 1 Star due to :- (1) the ridiculous price for only 946ml (2) zero instructions on how to use (ie. whether to dilute, use full strength, use plastic container, etc).Manjit

All the grout was a dark brown in the house we just moved into. My husband thought that was just the colour they picked but I knew better… Diluted this 50:50 in a spray bottle and went to work with my little scrub brush. Now the grout in our entryway, laundry/mud room, bathrooms, and the kitchen is a beautiful almond colour. Like new. The only place it struggled was where there was some mildew by the shower in one bathroom. For that, I cleaned it and then sprayed some bleach and let it sit for 5 mins. I still give it 5 *s.Jan18
