A nice and creamy consistensy with tea tree oil that you can actually feel it on your scalp in a freshing way. After shampooing I followed up with Pura d'or 2x Concetrated Biotin Conditioner and it just enhanced what it's shampoo was already doing. Hydrating it to start of with but also making it healthier and more manageble. Love that the shampoo is also color safe so that my mom who colors her hair can use it safely. One of the things that I love the most is what the conditioner does not contain like parabens and phthalates and even dyes. But yet it can still leave my hair nice and soft. I've only been using the shampoo and conditioner for less than a month, so I can't really comment on the growth element of it (I think that'd take more than a month anyway, to be honest), but I can say I've been really enjoying using these products. The very first thing I noticed after using this for the first time was how much easier it was to comb my hair through after getting out the shower – as someone with pretty long hair, this was really impressive, as usually it takes me ages to detangle it! The next thing I've noticed is how much less hair I'm seeing in my brush/comb when I brush or comb my hair now – there used to be loads, but its definitely reduced since I started using the shampoo and conditioner. The smell of both is lovely, nice and fresh and minty, and I feel like it really nourishes my scalp. Having to leave the shampoo on for 4 minutes and the conditioner for 3 minutes took a bit of getting used to (I'm usually a wash-rinse-and-go kinda gal) but I've just been busying myself with doing other stuff whilst I've left it to do it's thing! I haven't quite finished both bottles yet, so I will continue using them until I have and see if there has been any more difference to the growth of my hair. I'm 99% sure I'll repurchase, for no other reason than to keep using it so I can see if this will actually make a difference to my fine, thinning hair! All other products to help stop hair thinning are super expensive so to find something like this which is much cheaper is much, much better because even if, ultimately, it doesn't work, at least I won't have forked out nearly £40 on some chemical hair loss treatment that probably isn't great for my poor scalp – at least this feels nice and natural. I've used it for about a week now (5 times washing my hair) and I couldn't be happier. I was pleasantly surprised as I have noticed a difference. My hair which was thinning on the top seems a little thicker and actually softer too. The shampoo is best when used with the conditioner and serum as that is what I have been using and it seems to be working. Other things I've loved about it: the scent. It's mild, but so fragrant. It's a pleasant floral smell that stays with your hair until your next wash, which I love. The texture is also ideal; not so thick that it feels goopy and not so thin that it's watery. It also lathers really well which is a definite necessity for me because I never really feel clean without the lather. Another bonus is that I can blow dry and straighten curl my hair without any issues; it actually recommends you to style as required. I tried this product in two ways. I tried it as it was recommended, which was to use heat for deeper penetration and the other was leaving the deep conditioner on for 30-40 minutes. I feel like doing it these ways got me the samw result which is great for people who dont like using heat at all. Using this helped me detangle my hair because it gave enough slip from how moisturizing it is. Also, my half of my hair has been bleached twice and the color immediately after. That side of my hair had been limp for so long until i started using this for weeks. I want to add emphasis on weeks because its not a fast process and it took multiple uses to start seeing my curl pattern get stronger. My only complaint is that spreading it can be a little bit hard and you might have to use alot to fully saturate the hair if you long hair. This is also not buttery enough for curlier hair, like 3c to 4c hair. (in the picture i did finger coil my hair but everything i said still is relevant. I exclusively use Bricknell products and love all of them. I had been using the original formula hair conditioner for a long time and felt it was unique product providing moisture, softness, styleabilty but with an ability to leave your hair super strong and squeaky clean. The new formula is not as good in my opinion. It feels like many other generic conditioners on the market. It leaves your hair moisturized and soft, but you never feel you are washing out of your hair and does not provide that super strong squeaky clean feeling as the old formula. This is the first Kerastase product I’ve ever used. I have long, fine hair and live in the Florida heat and humidity. I have always struggled to have volume, and my hair easily gets frizzy. This conditioner, along with the shampoo, makes my hair feel lighter and it doesn’t get frizzy throughout the day. The curl and volume stay all day without adding a lot of extra product. The only downside I have found so far is that I can only go a couple days between washings. Normally I can go about 4 days. I bought this at the recommendation of my colorist, and if a professional recommended it, you know it's good. At first I was hesitant to replace the conditioner that I've been using for the last 3 years – I regularly get my hair bleached and toned to silver (from naturally black hair) so aftercare is extremely important. I have a pretty strict hair regimen that I follow to keep my hair moisturized, and tangle and split end free. This conditioner went beyond my expectations. It is ultra hydrating, smells great (it has a citrus scent), and more importantly the results last. When I apply it to my hair, it immediately makes it slick and easy to detangle with my fingers. I then leave it on for 3-5 minutes and do the rest of my shower routine. After my shower, my hair is soft and easy to brush through. What's even more surprising is that my hair actually retains the moisture from this conditioner over time. I only wash my hair 2-3x a week and normally it starts feeling dry on the second or third day and I need to use hair oil, but with this conditioner my hair has continued to be manageable and hydrated even after time has passed. I have not noticed any split end issues since I started using this conditioner a month ago. I would consider this a top option if you're looking for a great silicone-free conditioner!ashley.🥀
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I've used entire tubs of 60 dollar hair masks, 30 dollar conditioners for 4 ounces, and many conditioners at or around the price point of this conditioner for less ounces. This conditioner is 28 USD for 8 oz. I spent years basically torturing my hair. I dyed it weekly and bleached it often constantly putting color in and bleaching it out. I used ethnic hair relaxers that literally melted my hair because of the lye. So the last 3 years i did highlights or lowlights twice a year if that. I washed my hair the day after my roots got too oily to manage which was every 4 to 6 days. But I have extremely thick and curly hair that I blow dry and flat iron on wash day and flat iron or curl or crimp on every day in between. There was nothing i could do about that as I hate my curls more than the damage and the curl pattern was beyond broken anyway from the years of flat ironing daily. Despite all of the conditioning treatments, heat protectants, smoothing treatments, and styling products used my hair had a ton of breakage and split ends and when I washed my hair it knotted up and without two rounds of a lot of conditioner there would be no coming back from it. Idk why this was as I trimmed my hair and did everything right but nothing changed. That is until now. 1 week and 3 uses later my hair was not knotted in the shower and after one use it was shiny and actually healthy looking. It was and continues to be amazing. Really really good conditioner! I splurged on the big bottle and didn't regret it a bit. It's very concentrated so I don't have to use a ton, even when my hair is longer. This is one of those products you should not rinse out entirely, leave at least a little bit in your hair for the best effect. It really helps to give the appearance of fuller hair while still looking natural. It's not a volumizing product so it doesn't enhance that or add texture, but makes the hair look denser.

This line of products is great just buyer beware that not every hair type can handle a strengthening shampoo and conditioner everyday, I used this everyday during quarantine and my hair began to feel thick yet brittle. I wasn't able to run a brush or even my hands through it wet or dry. It felt like I had years of product build up in my hair, very heavy and weighed down and began cracking and stiffening at the ends. Finally braved my salon after 6 months and my hair dresser (who I have been going to for 14 years) touched my hair and immediately told me it wasn't normal, especially for my hair and asked if I was using a strengthening shampoo. She advised that a strengthening shampoo should be used once a week max and not for daily use. I ended up having to have a salon Malibu treatment to strip the build up and then a deep condition to make it healthy. Ended up costing me 2 more hours and $50 extra in my salon bill. I first used this product when samples were sent to me as a free gift when I purchased something else. I have very THICK curly hair and it literally feels like straw. I cant put too many products in it or it gets really greasy. Literally cant win. I love to just use shampoo/conditioner and a simple leave in treatment. I used this combo and my hair felt so amazing. So glad I tried this! My hair is wavy, long, and fine. It is colored red and as everyone knows, red definitely is prone to fading. I have not been using this long enough to say if it will retain my color any better than any other good sulfate free shampoo but so far so good! The reason I am so excited about this shampoo though is that my hair really looks terrific after I use it (along with the matching conditioner). It leaves my hair soft, full, clean, and well conditioned. I have tried so many other sulfate free shampoos and while they did help to protect my color better than regular shampoo, they left my hair feeling coated and looking dry or limp. My hair has so much bounce and shine after I use this– it's definitely my new favorite shampoo. Finally I love the scent. To me it's a subtle rose scent, not overpowering, just clean and floral. Great hair set. The cleanser cleans without leaving residue and the moisturizer ia very nourishing. My hair tends to be very greasy if i use most conditioner but this one is just great. It causes dandruff for at first but it will disapear after 2 or 3 uses. The hairfall also diminished considerablymeriem.e
Ok I’ve been using this product for about a month now hoping it’d get better with use but unfortunately it didn’t. I should’ve returned it when I first received it because it arrived in a plastic wrap instead of usual packaging. Unfortunately I didn’t return it and started using it. Right from the first use I started losing a lot more hair in the shower than I used to and now I see my hair shedded on my office chair and everywhere else I go. I have used this product previously (bought from Costco) with great result but unfortunately this time it’s been terrible. I suspect the product might’ve been altered since it was delivered with plastic wrap.Susie
I have used this product for two years with amazing results. The product i recieved is not what i normally get. The shampoo is blue and liquidy and makes my hair dry. The conditioner is not thick and has small balls in it. I does not condtion it leaves my hair stringy and fly away. I have sent 3 notices to company and they are ignoring methundarrb

I recently wrote a review for the shampoo that goes with this conditioner and it may be helpful also. This system for thinning/hair loss is unlike anything I've used before! I have light thinning in front right near my hairline from always having my thick, heavy, curly hair tied up in a bun or ponytail on top of my head. it's slowly pulled my hairline back, and I also have thin spots from parting my hair in the same spot every day for a long time. After using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo and treatment spray ONCE I saw a difference in how thin my hair looked. I am impressed. BUT this conditioner and the shampoo are mint scented and give a very intense cooling effect on the scalp and the feeling stays on your scalp for quite a while after rinsing… maybe 30 minutes or so. And any time air blows on you it reactivates the cooling sensation. Not as intense as when it was initially applied, but still enough to be unpleasant. Aside from the uncomfortable, highly unpleasant sensation on the scalp, this product is a great one. I would definitely recommend it to people who suffer from thinning/loss of hair.tara.j
I received the Nioxin System 1 (3 pieces) for free for testing purposes. These are my own opinions. First, I’d like to share that I’ve been using the 3 piece set (shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment) for a little over a month. I do not shampoo my hair daily and I try to go as many days as possible in between washes. That being said, I still saw some results in the short amount of time I used this product. First, the shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean. The smell is pleasant and there is a cooling, tingling sensation with these products that I really enjoy. My scalp can be on the dry side sometimes and it’s been looking clear with no irritation. The conditioner is nice and a little goes a long way. I massage the shampoo and conditioner into my scalp and I try to keep both products on for a few minutes in the shower so they can “sink in and work their magic�. After the shower I wrap my hair in a hair towel to absorb most of the moisture. Using a wide tooth comb, I detangle my hair, make a part on my scalp and spray the scalp treatment. I continue this all over my head. Comb-part-spray. I massage this product into my head and then style as usual. Ever since having kids (7 years ago) my hair has gone from crazy thick to thinning. It’s depressing and scary. I’ve collagen and biotin but I didn’t notice much of a difference. After using Nioxin for this short amount of time, I’m already seeing baby hairs!!! I’m hoping it’s new growth and not breakage. It looks like new to me. I wish this campaign was longer so I could have more time to know for sure. I’m happy with the results. After just a few weeks of use, I noticed my hair part looks less scarce than it used to. In order to read the instructions for this product, you need to peel a sticker, which removes some of the ink and makes them difficult to read, so I assume that this product was supposed to be used as a regular conditioner. After a couple of uses, I decided to read the instructions to make sure that I was using it correctly and that’s when I found out that you are supposed to apply the conditioner from the roots to the tips of your hair. I used it in that manner about four more times and that’s when I started noticing more dramatic results. The only thing that I would change about this product is that I would print the instructions on the outside of the sticker so it’s easier to read them. I highly recommend this product.giannina .g

The pump is a 50/50 that it will or won't work. I did have about three out of six that didn't work the first time I bought six bottles. I swapped out the working ones for the ones that didn't work. Then, when I bought all six a second time, I saved the pumps that work and swapped out the ones that didn't, so now all six bottles work. I decided the second time to test the pumps at the store. I bought the ones that worked. The "six bottles" I am referring to are the shampoo and conditioners from the three varieties. Aside from the pumps, I like all the varieties though they are different from the shampoos and conditioners I am used to using as they don't have a strong perfumed scent like other shampoos and conditioners. If that's important to you, you will be disappointed in these shampoos and conditioners. If you want soft hair, they will accomplish that. This shampoo and conditioner is horrible for my hair. It doesn't lather up so my hair feels like it's clumping in the knots when I use this shampoo. It makes my hair feel like again, dry hay I do not like this shampoo at all. I really tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and I've used this for about a month and the amount of shampoo I have to use is outrageous. This shampoo made my hair feel so brittle and knotty I seemed to be losing more hair than normal. Conditioner is not much better in my opinion as I had to use a ton of it to get it to cover the entire length of my hair.
