Tried this product because all the stores around where I live don't seem to carry the product that I normally use and prefer to use, so I was desperate. Let me start by saying that the price to product quantity was an immediate disappointment for me as my normal product is 13oz product for about the same cost. Skip forward to my experience using this product. As always I read the directions and followed them accordingly. I applied a thick even layer and waited the recommended 5mins then did a small check… nothing. Waited another 5mins as recommended than did another small check… eh some slight removal but needed more time. The product says to NOT exceed 10mins, but I waited a total of 17mins before using a damp warm cloth to fully remove product in the shower. After I got the product off in the shower I didn't have to check the results… I could feel the results and to my complete disappointment there was still hair and a lot of stubble (that felt like I hadn't shaved or tried to remove any hair for a solid 3 days!) left! I ended having to go over the entire area with a razor (which I hate doing!) just to get a semi-smooth to touch feel like I was wanting and expecting! I always use an after any shaving or hair removal to prevent razor burn or the dreaded ingrown hair issue (and it works!) But not even 12hrs after using major itchy razor burn and the itchy annoying ingrown hair problems started! Needless to say I tried the product once and will never use again!sarah.c
Overall just ok. Awful smell, best described as "old". Took 2 10-minute (full length of time) sessions for the leg I tried out. See pics for my leg after the first 10-minute session. Pretty much all the hair was gone after the 2nd session. You definitely need to use a lot of product, really lay it on thick for it to work. I noticed that it seems to weaken the base of the hair so it breaks off easier, it doesn't get the root of the hairs, so the next day I was still just as prickly as if I shaved. But no burns, bumps, etc. so there is that benefit as opposed to shaving. Had a cool tingle for the first session I did, similar to Menthol, but didn't hurt by any means. I would use this for areas that I didn't want being bumpy or burned by a razor, such as sensitive areas or areas that get shaven back-to-back, but otherwise takes a bit of time to work and is more work for me that shaving normally.jenna.l
I took a chance on this product after reading the reviews and unfortunately, I have to side with the negative ones.
The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell: very unpleasant. I purchased the green tea scented bikini cream and the closest thing I can think to compare the scent to would be unwashed feet.
I applied the product in a small test area and waited the recommended 6 minutes. Nothing happened. Every hair remained intact. I wasn't willing to leave it on any longer, as I have sensitive skin, so I hopped in the shower to wash it off.
I did expect some mild irritation when I used the product, and some light inflammation did occur. However, this was pretty disappointing to experience considering the product did not work.

This product was better than expected. I've never used hair removal creams, as I have VERY sensitive skin. I've always been afraid of a rash or burn. Most lotions and creams burn. No pain, no burn, no issues. It was too easy. It did take about 5 mins. I don't think this will work for large areas of hair, such as on your public bone. I put a bikini on and just applied to the hair showing outside the bikini. I have a clean bikini line for the first time in ages. No razor bumps or anything. I've used countless cream hair removers, and since I love Bikini Zone products I figured I would give this a try. I did like the consistency of the cream and the odor was not nearly as bad as others I've used before. I used it once on longer hairs and it worked just fine, so I decided to try it again a week later on some shorter hairs. The cream got in my skin and was burning me before I was even done applying it. After another minute I took off the cream and had a red, sensitive, burning spot on my skin. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? Tried this product because all the stores around where I live don't seem to carry the product that I normally use and prefer to use, so I was desperate. Let me start by saying that the price to product quantity was an immediate disappointment for me as my normal product is 13oz product for about the same cost. Skip forward to my experience using this product. As always I read the directions and followed them accordingly. I applied a thick even layer and waited the recommended 5mins then did a small check… nothing. Waited another 5mins as recommended than did another small check… eh some slight removal but needed more time. The product says to NOT exceed 10mins, but I waited a total of 17mins before using a damp warm cloth to fully remove product in the shower. After I got the product off in the shower I didn't have to check the results… I could feel the results and to my complete disappointment there was still hair and a lot of stubble (that felt like I hadn't shaved or tried to remove any hair for a solid 3 days!) left! I ended having to go over the entire area with a razor (which I hate doing!) just to get a semi-smooth to touch feel like I was wanting and expecting! I always use an after any shaving or hair removal to prevent razor burn or the dreaded ingrown hair issue (and it works!) But not even 12hrs after using major itchy razor burn and the itchy annoying ingrown hair problems started! Needless to say I tried the product once and will never use again!sarah.c
Overall just ok. Awful smell, best described as "old". Took 2 10-minute (full length of time) sessions for the leg I tried out. See pics for my leg after the first 10-minute session. Pretty much all the hair was gone after the 2nd session. You definitely need to use a lot of product, really lay it on thick for it to work. I noticed that it seems to weaken the base of the hair so it breaks off easier, it doesn't get the root of the hairs, so the next day I was still just as prickly as if I shaved. But no burns, bumps, etc. so there is that benefit as opposed to shaving. Had a cool tingle for the first session I did, similar to Menthol, but didn't hurt by any means. I would use this for areas that I didn't want being bumpy or burned by a razor, such as sensitive areas or areas that get shaven back-to-back, but otherwise takes a bit of time to work and is more work for me that shaving normally.jenna.l
I took a chance on this product after reading the reviews and unfortunately, I have to side with the negative ones.
The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell: very unpleasant. I purchased the green tea scented bikini cream and the closest thing I can think to compare the scent to would be unwashed feet.
I applied the product in a small test area and waited the recommended 6 minutes. Nothing happened. Every hair remained intact. I wasn't willing to leave it on any longer, as I have sensitive skin, so I hopped in the shower to wash it off.
I did expect some mild irritation when I used the product, and some light inflammation did occur. However, this was pretty disappointing to experience considering the product did not work.
Overall, I’m giving this product a solid one-star review, as it didn’t serve it’s intended purpose and had unpleasant qualities (ie. the smell and inflammation).Ariana Winchester

What can I say, this does exactly what it says it will. Took off ALL the hair and left me silky smooth. Top tip: I would recommend doing a patch test first, leaving it on for the max time (as long as you don't feel any irritation), but then wait a good 48 hours before you delve straight in and do the whole bush and undercarriage. I didn't and regretted it massively. I was on FIRE! My own silly fault though for going over the same area twice in 24 hours and lesson learnt! My only issue with this product is the smoothness doesn't last long enough for me, it's akin to shaving really. But while I was hairless, it was heaven! Plus with salons closed it really is the next best thing. Also I had no uncomfortable itching with regrowth like I have with shaving. So easy to apply, just whack it on, wait up to 6 mins then jump in the shower and wipe it off. I used a face cloth – now dedicated for my nether regions. I have taken one star off because the tube isn't very big. I'm not that hairy, but I think I will struggle to get three applications out of this so for the price its quite expensive, especially as I'd want to use it every 1 to 2 weeks to stay smooth. I popped this on the under carriage, left it , checked it and left it a little longer and washed it off. Yes, it has the usual hair remover smell but it is tempered somewhat by the soothing rose oil. Results are very good, smooth, no pain and good hair removal. Very small amount of stubble where I did not put it thick enough – but will get this next time. Easier and cheaper than waxing. I usually get waxed in a salon but was curious to try this as I can't at the moment and it was the first one I have seen that said it was suitable for a Hollywood style removal. I found it worked well for bikini / Brazilian areas but not so well for Hollywood where it didn't remove much. I was not keen to try reaplying in case of burning though. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and didn't have any major reactions to it but am quite stingy and a little sore afterwards in some places. It feels a bit too risky for me and seems very easy to really mess your skin up if using it regularly. Given these factors I don't think I will bother with it again and will stick to shaving until the salons are open. I'm going to be honest – this product burned my face. I do have sensitive skin, but I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and this was just too much. This is the best product for my skin and hair type. I have extremely dark hair and I have a fair complexion. I tried bleaching but it just turned my mustache into a blonde mustache. 😂 I’ve tried waxing but the skin on my face is way too sensitive for that. So this cream hair remover is what I use. There are two things that you need to do when using this product. One, spot test. I know most products say to spot test but it’s EXTREMELY important to do this so you know if you’re going to have a reaction and how long you should leave it on for. I literally JUST used mine and left it on for 30 seconds too long and I can feel my upper lip burning. And the second thing you need to do before using is check the expiration date. Once I did my normal routine and my face started burning so badly. I knew I didn’t leave it on too long so when I started checking around the bottle and packaging, I saw it was expired. It burned my face so badly that it actually scabbed! BUT if you follow the directions and check the date, it’s the best product I’ve been able to find to meet my needs. This product is my weekly go-to. I have naturally very fine hair on my face and body. Due to the sensitive nature of my skin, I choose not to remove the hair due to breakouts, general itchiness, and the unappealing regrowth aesthetic. I bleach the “peach-fuzz” on my face once a week using this product and it delivers! The downside is that this has an itchy and burning sensation, but the workaround I’ve found is to lightly prep and moisturize the skin with coconut oil! The smell is still strong, but my skin doesn’t feel as irritated. I also find that the hair is bleached to a more blonde color, so when wearing foundation or other face products – the hair can turn a bit “brassy”, but overall this is the product that has worked the best for me for 10 years.dana.r

After debating for a while I decided that I would try hair removal cream instead of shaving. I have used some in the past and have always been out off by the smell. This one didn’t have the usual smell, in fact it was quite pleasant. I did the patch test and with no adverse affects I decided that it was time to do it. Due to lockdown I had large amount of hair on my legs and knew that shaving this would be a long task but using the hair removal cream made it nice and easy. It’s simple to apply, I left it for the full length of time and was impressed with the results. Unlike with shaving I had no red bumps on my legs. I did find that my legs didn’t feel as smooth as they would be with shaving but I put this down to it being the first time in a couple of months where hair was removed. There was also some spots where it didn’t remove the hair at all but I applied a small amount of extra cream and it then removed the other hairs. Usually my hair grows back very quickly but it has been over a week and I have noticed that it is significantly shorter than it would normally be after this length of time if I had shaved.Bethw97
I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t remove much hair on my lower leg. The upper portion of my leg more around my knee was so smooth, but the lower half was not. I ended up having to shave after. Now after the shave my legs were the smoothest they have ever been. I do like the spatula it comes with! Super helpful to put on the cream and remove it without getting it all over my hands. I only used cream before, maybe 15 years ago and it was horrible! First, the smell was horrendous, then was the itch and burn, the skin was irritated and all the experience wasn't a pleasure. Nowadays however, the ingredients changed, leaving you with the best possible experience! The cream's scent doesn't give you unpleasant face expression, no irritation whatsoever, no red dots all over your leg, skin stay smooth and soft, no ingrowing hair and the most important – soft, thinner hair grows back. I have never used a hair removal product and I needed to remove my chest hair (and I am a bit hairy). I tried this one after a minimal amount of research. I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? It’s not often I’m disappointed in something. How do I get a refund? The only think this gets rid of is the £10 I binned in good faith.James1982
Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. It did a great job in that area too! Normally I end up having a rash because of the friction of my butt cheeks lol. All in all unpleasantly surprised with this product and I will continue to use it!emily.t

Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. Secondly, I don't think it actually worked that well. It didn't remove hair as effectively as the other types Veet sell. It was sensitive, but should sensitive mean less effective?Mrs JK

Fist of all , if you are planning to start using A hair removal I certainly most certaitly use Avon Skin So Soft Sensiktive for face but clean your face with a scurb or use acne treatments fiirst before using Avon skin soft sensitive face. Use that for 4 months or so and then switch to the Avon Skin So Soft Sensitive body hair removal on face use every 4 to 7 days. You will certainly see results I have black hair that is like a guys beard and tash not funny not not cute worse since menopause. Omg ! This product caused huge irritation on my bf’s body . Yes it removed hair , but after putting it just for a minute it made his skin so red and even damaged in some areas .
