Someone made a comment above me that they said that these were used that is not true. I don'۪t know why she had a white powder or whatever on hers but maybe Santa used it lol anyways to get to the point I used mine for the first time yesterday when I received it it has a cap on it to keep it safe and clean and mine did not have a powder mine are brand new. Unfortunately a few years ago I shaved my chin because I had like baby hairs which turned into whiskers so they can be hard to remove. this little gadget remove them very easily did not cut me at all I was even able to get the hairs on my upper lip works great and I will definitely buy them again. My boyfriend and I got bored today and we decided that he could wax my legs and I could wax his back since we both hadn’t shaved in awhile. I literally haven’t laughed this hard… ever. If I could post the video on here, I would. Honestly a great idea for bored couples needing something new to spend time together. I watched some YouTube reviews after I bought it and they all said it sucked and it didn’t work and LET ME TELL YA those people are big fat liars. You stick that puppy on there and leave it for about thirty seconds and then yank it off and ALL that hair is gone. We only had two problems the whole time. 1) He pulled too much at an angle one time and it ripped so he had to do it again (ouch). And 2) Idk if you can pull it too fast but one time the strip came off and the wax didn’t. The wipes are amazing though. They’re super slick and oily and with the tiniest bit of pressure that stuff comes right off. Highly recommend a cold wet washcloth to place on the area after you rip it. Anyways I’d give these bad boys an 8/10 for functionality and 10/10 for entertainment.Madeline
Very disappointing. The packaging and color is super cute but the results were not. I usually get Clean Easy wax strips but since I couldn't find any, I bought these. I cleaned my armpit with toner and added talcum to ensure drieness and I popped it on. It only caught one hair and was the wax is too soft and wet for my taste. Then the wipes are drenched in a oil, which was nice I guess but it leaves your fingers and hand all oily. Had to wash my hands twice because after the first strip, I wouldn't be able to pull the next one since it was slippery. Also I couldn't rip "too fast" otherwise paper you're holding rips off. These wax strips are the worst. They smell like grape cough syrup, and have a jelly like texture to them instead of a hard wax. They dont do a good job of ripping the hair out, maybe 1/3 of the hairs under the strip come out, most of them just get broken off at the skin or aren't affected at all. Yes I was using them correctly. This is not my first time waxing at home, I read all the instructions, and even after using them correctly they didnt work anywhere near as well as any other wax strip. They're all garbage. So now the hair will grow back unevenly where some were broken off while others were successfully pulled out. Don't buy this product.Krista

It’s ok, it works, I’ve had no issues getting the battery in or out even though that compartment seems to be a bit more towards an oval shape. I’ve used it several times without major issue. It does always sounds like it’s about to quit working, switched the battery and it still sounds that way so it is what it is. It gets the 12 little hairs off my chin every 2 weeks so I’m happy about that. Beyond that I’m not a fan and wouldn’t buy again. After searching for a multi tool for hair removal i finally broke down and bought 3 separate tools. This one i bought for facial hair, specifically nose hair. I dont know why there are so few nose hair trimmers marketed toward women. I dont need to trim my haircut too, but most of the multi tool trimmers that include a nose hair trimmer are marketed to men who also want a haircut trimmer. This one works great so far. I pulled too hard on it trying to get the comb part off and it came apart in multiple pieces. The good news is that they all snapped together easily and nothing broke. I've only used this wax once, but so far, it's the worst wax I've ever used. Did not apply well at all, didn't stick to really any hair, and was SUPER brittle when removing. It just broke into pieces rather than peeling off smoothly in a strip. I usually use Cirepil Blue hard wax, but I got this with the gigi mini warmer to save some space for home use, but I am thoroughly disappointed in this wax. I most likely won't even use the rest of it. I'll probably end up heating it up, dumping it out, and re-using the can to put the blue wax in.adrianne.m
I have the at home wax heater. This saves me a lot of money to wax myself at home instead of a salon. It is us easy to use. It takes a bit of a learning curve and proper technique to get the hang of it. However once you learn how to wax properly, it is was better to do this yourself. No appointments, no waiting, and no awkward feelings when you are getting intimate areas waxed. GiGi is the best at home hair wax removal in my opinion. 10 out of 10. This is one of the biggest failures I purchased. After checking so many reviews, I decided to buy this epilator, not from Amazon, but from a different website. BUT I had to come here and share my thoughts. I’ve been epilating my body for 15 years, so I guess I’m “educated” enough to share my experience.
1. The 3 speeds are USELESS. It doesn’t pull out from the root, it SHAVES!! That defeats the purpose of an epilator.
2. The large head does nothing. I go over the same area again and again and my hair is still there!
3. Doesn’t catch the small hair – just the longer one (again, useless!)
4. The adjustable head hurts your skin – it “catches” your skin from time to time while using it. It HURTS and leaves MARKS on your skin.
5. The battery life is too short. If you’re really “hairy”, one charge won’t do it.
6. I’ve never had ingrown hair from my previous epilators, well I have them now from this one.
Do NOT BUY THIS useless device. I guarantee it’s a man that designed this device, cause no woman would approve such junk.Christine S

I've been to professional sugaring salons and I usually love it. I've been using a sally Hansen wax at home during the pandemic but I bought this when my local ulta was out. This was dreadful. I first tried a week ago but it didn't grab any of the hair. I waited a week for my hair to be a bit longer. That helped but it was still tortuous. Bikini area missed lots of hairs. Underarms only pulled out like 5 each. The hair of my lower legs-seems like it just broke off at the skin rather than pulling from the root. I'll order the regular sally Hansen online next time.AO

Did countless research and found this product. To start off with, after putting the wax down and put the strip on, once i pulled nothing came off. the wax was stuck to my skin and wouldn't come off. They give zero instructions to begin with on what to do if wax does get stuck. I had used other waxing strips before but I wanted to give this a try. unfortunately it was a waste of money for me. it hardens too quickly and gets very messy in the jar. I had grown out my leg hair forabout 3 weeks but it pulled some hairs out and left some in. additionally most of the hairs that I pulled out were broken rather than being pulled at the root. I use the same technique that I usually do with other strips but unfortunately this does not work for me. Disappointed.Stef
My underarm hair grows in at least 3 directions. i was careful not to overheat the wax. I noticed small bubbles forming when I stirred so I didn't use it until they stopped. The first one or two strips… ouch, but it worked well. After that I wasn't really bothered, but I applied the wax so many times & had to keep reheating. It kept getting super stringy & that's how I knew it wouldn't work. The plastic container is impractical so I think I'll invest in a wax warmer. It says not to wax over the same area but I watched tutorials where they did it so I tried & it was fine. I did my bikini area, trying to go full brazilian but there wasn''t enough wax. it kept getting stuck to the sides of the container & waa difficult to scrape & get to melt. This area was more painful than the armpits lol. It says not to wax around your period because of the pain but my period is irregular from an iud so I never know when it will show up so that may have caused more pain. I got this because I was nervous to buy a better wax and have it shipped to me in the summer. After trying this one — which is absolutely horrendous, I decided to chance the better wax being boiled in a hot van. After using this I honestly wish I had been boiled in a hot van too. This was one of the quickest wax's I've ever done & I've tried every wax hair removal under the sun. I did my lower legs in less than 10 minutes I kid you not. I knew I had to run to the reviews to tell you all. If you follow the directions to a T, you'll be set. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is due to the fact that there isn't not enough wax. I did both my lower legs & I used more than half. If you were run out of wax mid way, you'd need to heat up another wax for another 45 minutes. So as long as you got time, you're good to go. It also can be very sticky but that's how all the All Purpose Honee consistency is but nothing a little oil can't help!Zay
it's not so bad of a product. If you are a smaller person with fine to lightly coarse hair then this is a perfect product for you. I on the other hand have coarse hair and a lot of body area to cover so this wasn't nearly enough to get the job done. One cartridge covered one and a quarter legs. I had to shave the rest of the way. I did like this and I will do it again however I will need a lot of wax on hand because this does take a lot since there's not a lot of product.arbi

This product is awful. Normally I love Sally Hansen wax. I use their microwaveable all over wax without a problem. This one daid microwave for 90 seconds. I had ro do it for 200 seconds so it could even melt. One applied it dries supper quick which wouldn't be a problem if it was only on the skin. It dries super quick in the container too so it's very hard to pick up and spread. I had to throw it out.Edi
This wax does not work, but I guess I should've expected much for the price point. I have been waxing my eyebrows for about a year and a half, and I had been using the same clean+easy microwaveable wax since the start. Last time I went to buy it was sold out, so I turned to this for an alternative…. I definitely regret that. It's nice that this kit comes with so much, but it's not so nice when the actual wax doesn't do anything. 1st the "ready" stick that tells you when the wax is ready to use does not work at all, every single time the stick would say ready when the wax wasn't even warm when you touched it, and it wouldn't slide on with application, it's would just clump and fall off without getting any hair. But, even when you do use the wax at a warmer texture, it never hardens, so pulling it off is incredibly hard and it barely pulls out any hair. I hadn't even finished the whole thing before chucking it, just not worth the frustration, nor worth any money if there's no payoff.Sayomi
One of the worst parts of waxing at home is anticipating the pain when you rip the wax off. Having grown up in salons I am pretty much an expert at waxing at home. However you shouldn’t probably wax at home if you aren’t confident with your skill set. you have to heat this up without overheating it so you don’t burn your skin and you have a small window once it is the right temperature to apply it before it solidifies again. Definitely make sure you read the instructions for the application of the wax! And use the cream for after waxing to reduce red bumps or ingrown hairs. You do have to wax more often with this I feel it doesn’t get the hairs out as well as professional waxing but it does do the trick. shakti.g

Normally I shave my legs but decided to give this a shot. I wanted to see if this really worked. I tried it on one arm and one leg, while I shaved the other arm and leg. On my arm, it worked really well. It took all the hair off and didn't leave any patches behind. Now on my leg, it didn't work as well. I had it on for about 8 minutes when I wiped it off and at first it felt like it took everything off but after a quick shower, I could feel it left a lot behind. I had to go back with a razer to get the stuff that was missed. I waited a few days and tried again and had the same results. It mostly took off the hair but there was still parts left. My hair isn't thick or anything and the second time I waited the full 10 minutes. Maybe it's just my luck but for my arms it worked. I do want to point out, that this stuff does not smell. The lavender scent is not strong, which I like. Overall, this stuff isn't bad but isn't great. If you have had luck with this before, than yeah this is a something that you need to get.JAZS
I am going to review this product because I didn’t find a review that I was looking for and I’m going to be very honest and straightforward. I used it as shaving cream when I first bought it because I’m stupid and didn’t realize what it was. This morning while I was showering, I read it and realize that it didn’t have the word shave on it… Odd. So I read it and realized what it was and decided on a whim that I would try it out. Just for reference, I haven’t shaved in about a week because I was on my period, and I figured that it wouldn’t remove everything completely but I decided to use it anyway. I put it on and made the mistake of spreading it a little too low… Keep it on your bikini area, it reallyyyy stings if you don’t. To my surprise I actually removed probably about 90% of my hair and I was extremely surprised, I didn’t smell the bad smell anybody else was, it was fine to me before during and after, nice even. And for the hair it does miss, it’s not very hard to remove it all, it just takes some time. I used a washcloth to do this, I have really nice towels. Each washrag I own is about $30 alone (just to show you that they are nice), and even with that it was still very rough on my skin and I do not recommend a washcloth. If I continue to use this product I might go out of my way to buy a specific group of cloths that are softer on the skin and more gentle to use more frequently. On my arm, it worked really well. It took all the hair off and didn't leave any patches behind. Now on my leg, it didn't work as well. I had it on for about 8 minutes when I wiped it off and at first it felt like it took everything off but after a quick shower, I could feel it left a lot behind. I had to go back with a razer to get the stuff that was missed. I waited a few days and tried again and had the same results. It mostly took off the hair but there was still parts left. My hair isn't thick or anything and the second time I waited the full 10 minutes. Maybe it's just my luck but for my arms it worked. I do want to point out, that this stuff does not smell. The lavender scent is not strong, which I like. Overall, this stuff isn't bad but isn't great. If you have had luck with this before, than yeah this is a something that you need to get.JAZS
I am going to review this product because I didn’t find a review that I was looking for and I’m going to be very honest and straightforward. I used it as shaving cream when I first bought it because I’m stupid and didn’t realize what it was. This morning while I was showering, I read it and realize that it didn’t have the word shave on it… Odd. So I read it and realized what it was and decided on a whim that I would try it out. Just for reference, I haven’t shaved in about a week because I was on my period, and I figured that it wouldn’t remove everything completely but I decided to use it anyway. I put it on and made the mistake of spreading it a little too low… Keep it on your bikini area, it reallyyyy stings if you don’t. To my surprise I actually removed probably about 90% of my hair and I was extremely surprised, I didn’t smell the bad smell anybody else was, it was fine to me before during and after, nice even. And for the hair it does miss, it’s not very hard to remove it all, it just takes some time. I used a washcloth to do this, I have really nice towels. Each washrag I own is about $30 alone (just to show you that they are nice), and even with that it was still very rough on my skin and I do not recommend a washcloth. If I continue to use this product I might go out of my way to buy a specific group of cloths that are softer on the skin and more gentle to use more frequently. I have been using this for three years and haven't shaved my legs in that time. I think we have all been scarred by nair in the past. When you first think of the brand, you think of the smell. And I'm here to tell you, that smell, or most of it, is just a lingering memory. Yes, it has a tinge of a smell, but nowhere near as bad as it was before. But let's get to the good stuff. The first time I used this, I had very low expectations. But goodness it worked. My legs have NEVER felt so smooth. I felt like a whole new person. I made all the people I was around feel how smooth my legs were, in a totally normal and consensual way. And the smoothness lasted. So my trick is, put a good amount on both legs, then set a timer for about 6 minutes. I wash off, with a rag, the first leg I put it on, then go to the other. I shower after because I'm a little weary of my own wiping abilities and just want to ensure that everything is gone. I will say there is a bit of a residual feeling of the nair on your legs. but if you shower after it's all but gone. After using it for so long I've noticed my leg hair doesn't grow back as thick, or as quick. So I'm using it MAYBE once a month, but more like once every other month. This really did make my legs feel smoother for a week plus after my first use and that part truly did impress me past my expectations. It also removed my hair pretty effectively. I also bought a face mask spatula specifically to apply this so my hands had minimal mess, and that worked out well! The down sides of this product for me are 1) how I could only do both legs twice before I ran out of product. And I was trying to get every drop out for the last part of my leg. 2) the price for how many used I got 3) it heavily stained the hand cloth I used for removal Other than that, on my first use I had shaved a part of my left leg a few days prior to use. I read the packaging carefully since Nair is a chemical hair remover, and there was no note or mention of waiting X days after shaving or anything relating. I didn't have pain while the product was sitting ontop of that shaved patch, but upon removal with a damp cloth the damage was revealed. The days prior shaved patch now had chemical burns. So if you do want to give this a go, please give yourself at least a week between shaving and using this!Millie
OMG! I can’t believe this stuff works! I’ve used the pink bottle of Nair in the past and it didn’t work and left me with red burn like skin. I was skeptical when my sister told me to try this one. I truly didn’t think it’d be this good. I hadn’t shaved in about a month and my hairs were so long I could feel them tickle my leg when the wind blows lol. It was easy to apply. I left it on each leg for 5 minutes and wiped clean with a wet wash cloth. The hair fell off like magic. I couldn’t stop rubbing my hand over it in disbelief because it took ALL OF THE HAIR RIGHT OFF! I washed with body wash after to ensure all the product was removed to its entirety and waited to see if I’d get a rash or red burns. It’s been 1 hour later and no problems or irritation has occurred. My boyfriend was shocked when I told him I didn’t use a razor and doesn’t believe me because how smooth it turned out. This is my new favorite product! Saved me so much time. Wish I knew about this when I was pregnant!!! This product was surprisingly easy to use. I've had one mishap of accidentally taking off a little too much brow, which was my bad. If you need to pick up missed wax, use a new strip, because used wax on a strip definitely will remove hair. It's great that the wax washes off easily with water (so if you get wax over hair you don't intend to remove, you can wash it off), and that the strips can be rinsed off and reused after they are dry. The applicator "pen" also makes the wax very easy to apply precisely. I wish it came with more face prep pads, or that those pads were sold separately. If you only use this wax on brows, the cleansing pads get used up too quickly. To get more use out of the product, I've started using it on my upper lip, which works pretty well, but this product leaves more hair than I would like on my lower lip and chin so I have to switch to a different product for that portion of my face. Overall, I recommend it. This is a really convenient way to keep the brows under control.Anne
I bought this thinking it would make waxing above eyebrows and top lip a breeze… Boy was I wrong! The wax is always too cold to work with so it doesn't go on the skin easily or evenly. Plus the applicator needs to be turned endlessly for product to come out and of course of you turn too much you get too much product. The reusable strips fray at the ends after one use so can't be reused more than a couple of times. There is only one pre-wax wipe included so you have to buy them if you want to easy skin preparation. I tried many times to make this work and I'm not an expert so TBH it could be me that's the problem. Regardless, my opinion is that unless you have a LOT of experience with waxing I'd say this product isn't for you.ClareHoo
I don't understand how people say this doesn't remove any hair. I imagine the users aren't removing enough facial oils before applying the wax, which might make it difficult for the wax to adhere to the hair. I use this product all the time, and it has saved me so much money. Rather than getting my eyebrows done at a salon, I can do them myself and the results are almost as good! If you have very unruly brows or don't trust yourself with wax application, getting your eyebrows done might be your best option, but if you have the patience to practice with this product, your brows will be spot on! Just remember to clean the area well with the included wipes or warm soapy water before applying the wax and you should be good to go. The only complaints I truly have are that there aren't enough strips included, and I end up throwing out half the batch of wax because it gets old after a while. However, this is hardly a problem because it is such an affordable product, I just don't like to waste!Katie

I have fairly thick strands of leg hair, and this wax works to remove it. I like using strips because it's less mess, and I can cut the strips into the size I want. I prefer Nads strips over Nair. The Nair ones are much more painful to me, while Nads are much more gentle on my skin. The oil wipes work well to calm the skin and to remove any wax residue.KateQ
The wax on these strips is super thin and does not grip to the hair correctly! I read the directions thoroughly and once I removed the strips, I immediately had a giant red splotchy square on my leg from where the wax strip had been! Took a little getting used to as this was my first time waxing, but worked just fine on my legs. I had to go in and clean up a few spots with tweezers but only where I had ingrowns from shaving previously. I wanted to try this epilator because I hate shaving. I was hopeful that after using it, I wouldn’t have to shave as often. Time will tell, but here’s what I learned so far. First, it is extremely painful if you use it on dry skin, or on longer hair. Using it in the shower is the best option. I tried in on my underarm hair, but my skin was still too sensitive. So for me, I will only be using it on my legs. When using it, I had to make several passes over the same area and still didn’t get a close, smooth shave in some spots. (I had a video ready to post showing this, but realized I can only post photos.) I then tried the razor attachment and loved it. It was fast, smooth, easy, painless, even for my underarms. (See photo) I also used the stone attachment for my rough skin on my heels. This worked fast and easy as well. I think it is a well made, good product, I’m just not sure epilating is for me. If you’ve used epilators in the past and like them, this one may be a good choice.Lady Luck
Legs. The first time I used it on my wet legs, it worked wonders! Made my skin smooth for over a week compared to a few days from regular shaving. The second time I used it on my wet legs about a month later, it couldn't catch the finer baby hair, so it left spots here and there. I had to go over those spots several times once my legs were dry to somewhat work. Under Arms. Ouch! Very sensitive the first time I used it and took over an hour to complete both underarms for my first time epilating. My husband thought it was pulling on my skin, when I think it was just literally tweezing out all the thick roots. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch… BUT WORTH IT! The epilator has lowered the frequency of shaving under arms from every 2-3 days to about once a week. The second time I used it, it was not as painful, but it was still hard trying to get all the hair by myself as some were growing in different directions. Would be easier if you have a second person do it for you. All in all, I don't think I will ever go back to regular shaving for my non-sensitive areas. Although I feel like epilating takes longer than regular shaving due to spotty areas that don't catch on the first/second try, but the less frequency required to have smooth legs and hairless under arms is more convenient for me.Texan08
The Philips Epilator Series 8000 Wet & Dry epilator BRE740/14 For legs, body and feet with 9 accessories is a great all-in-one unit that saves time and space. I love that this can be used wet or dry. With all the accessories I can epilate my legs, trim or shave other areas, cleanse and exfoliate with the brush head, and give myself a pedicure all with the same product. The epilator head even comes with a light on it to make it easier to see the hairs. I have fine hair so it can be hard to see if I got everything but the light makes it so much better. This manages to get all the hairs and is so much better than waxing. The file disc makes quick and easy work on my rough heels. It only took a minute or two to remove all the dead skin and it leaves behind soft, smooth heels. The brush head is soft and it is great to use on my body to cleanse and make sure I don't get any ingrown hairs. The only thing I don't care for is the instructions because instead of a booklet it folds out like a huge map making it hard to read and fold back together. At least I don't need to reference it often. There is information in it on how to buy replacement accessories, which I haven't needed to do yet but will in the future.

I've been using this wax for about a year. I even bought the warmer, which does make clean up easier. But ULTA, get it together with the shipping. Every time I order because I can't pick up in store. I receive pieces and pieces of broken, chipped wax and opened boxes. I have used Parissa products in the past and they have always been great quality and these are no exception. I loved that you receive a good amount of wax, it will definitely last you a long time. These work best with their wax warmer. The wax is sticky so definitely use your wooden sticks to make sure you concentrate the wax on only where you want it. Worked great for me!AJ

I have been using this product for 4+ years and I love it. Here is how I use it: there are 3 types of pre-waxed strips in the box. Full sheet wax strips, 3 to a sheet cut apart wax strips, and small cut apart strips on plastic sheets. The plast sheets don't work all that well but I don't miss them. The other sheets I cut into small pieces (1/2" x 3/4" ish), making sure that each piece has a non-waxed tag to hang on to. I keep a little space heater nearby and wave my little baby wax strips in front of to warm it up before applying. Then I go to work on my bikini area. After, I use facial cleansing oil to clean up. I only use these on my bikini covered area.Wax poetic
I like this product. This was my first use so I expect to get better next time. These strips are convenient and not messy. Great for the curves of the bikini area. I cut the hair as low as possible, powder (no talc), warmed the strip by rubbing in between my hands, placed the strip then rubbed, ripped off & wiped with the towelette provided. I was able to get the majority (97%) of my hair off. I think next time will be better. Better hair removal when you rub the strip a lot after placement & rip off fast. Read the directions. It was that easy. Didn't hurt too much but I'm used to getting professional bikini waxes.Nickie
You just have to warm the strips up in your hands for a few seconds, peel the strips apart (two are stuck together and once warmed up, can be separated). I stuck one strip on my face as directed and pulled off… but didn't get everything the first time, so I kept repeating several times with the same strip and almost waxed my whole lip using one strip. I used the other strip (the other half) to get the remaining hairs. Using one pass, the strips don't get everything, but I used the same strip multiple times and got almost everything off. I had a few residual hairs that they didn't get, but this is also the same when I go to a salon. I just plucked out the few remaining ones with tweezers, as the professional I have gone to has done in the past. They do leave some white residue, but it glides right off with the remover wipes, which are oily and scented with lavender I think. Overall I was pleasantly surprised that I waxed my whole lip with the same 1-2 pieces. I think I can make this box last quite a long time. Hopefully they sell the remover wipes separately because I think I'll need more than the 6 that come in the box.Sabrina
