I've been using Moroccan Oil hair products for many years. Because my go-to "smoothing" conditioner was out of stock, I decided to try the "repair" conditioner. It's absolutely terrible. When rinsing my hair in the shower, it isn't silky and smooth; it feels like I didn't use conditioner at all. When combing through towel-dried hair, I have to use twice as much of my leave-in conditioner spray just to get a comb through it. This was a very expensive purchase with terrible results. I purchased this along with the Moroccanoil Moisuture & Shine shampoo. I will say that this conditioner is much better than the shampoo, however I still wasn’t overly impressed – especially for the price. If you have thick hair like myself and go through a large amount of conditioner, this bottle is not going to last you long. The first time I used this conditioner, my hair was extremely greasy, although it wasn’t greasy the second time I tried it – I am not sure why. I didn’t find that my hair felt any better than it does after using a drugstore conditioner and I can’t bring myself to purchase this 1-2 times per month for the same results as a $10 conditioner. I've been using this leave in conditioner since I was 14 years old. I am now 39. I used to love it because I never had to brush my hair and it made it very soft. After a quite a bit of years later, it stopped working. Probably because I used it everyday. I bought the biggest one and it has literally lasted me 6 years so far. A little goes a long way and if you use too much your hair looks greasy. This also has a dual use. It can be used as a lotion on the skin as well. I would classify this conditioner as a good daily conditioner for normal to slightly dry hair. I don't think it moisturizes enough to be a "treatment" or deep conditioner. After shampooing, I apply it, then leave it in my hair while I wash my body, then I rinse it out. I have super short, baby fine dark blonde hair with highlights. I adore Paul Mitchell Neon products. It is scented with a very fruity peach bellini type scent and it is very strongly scented. If you don't like fruity or strongly scented products then beware. I love a strongly scented hair product because my hair picks up environmental odors like nobody's business. I use it every other wash so that it doesn't dry my hair out too much. It works fantastic in combination with the conditioner and working spray. The shampoo always lasts me 2x as long as the conditioner so I'm going to start buying 2 conditioners. I don't ever want to be without this shampoo and conditioner. It really adds so much frizz free volume to my fine & thin hair. All of the negative comments about residues and such really surprised me. I almost wonder if it can be attributed to hard or soft water. I didn't notice much difference after using it. That said, I used it very lightly, as I have hair that gets weighed down easily by creams. I think that in the end, this product may not have been a good fit for me and my needs — but it's not necessarily the product's fault. Someone with hair that's more tolerant of creams may really like this.
I usually use this on dry hair in between shampooing when I want to smooth down frizz. It also works as a leave-in conditioner/prep on wet hair before styling cream. It's smoothing and moisturizing and leaves hair soft. It does seem to straighten my curls a bit when I use it on dry hair. The tube is very small, and while you don't need to use a lot, if you have thick hair it will run out pretty fast.

Great smell! Thick and moisturizing, without feeling heavy or greasy. However, as much as I would like to praise it further, it’s moisturizing effect lasts only about 24 hours. It doesn’t have a significant amount of alcohol, yet its moisturizing effect wears off. Therefore, it cannot be my “go to” for my winter scalp. I don’t like the idea of having to constantly reapply between washes. It’s great on natural 4C hair, but not moisturizing enough for dry winter scalp.

I know things don't work for all hair types, but given what this is made from, and all the people with 4C hair who are raving about it, it should surely have worked on my 3A/B type hair, long with two curl types. The product sprays out in a mist, which dispenses a bit more fine than previous leave in conditioners I have used. Due to that, I have found myself over spraying. I found out once brushing that the spray conditioner actually let out a good amount. However, I have since adjusted – takes a minute to get used to. The bottle itself is not my favorite. I wrote another review for the respective Hydrating Shampoo, but I feel compelled to also comment on the conditioner. I have long, super thick hair, with loads of natural volume. I wash my hair at the beginning of every third day and this conditioner is amazing. In my experience, conditioners tend to stand out on their own, but this one was truly made to be paired with the shampoo. I apply this conditioner to my ends and it doesn't leave behind build up, break me out, and has genuinely extended the time between washes. It smells great and over the last six months, my unruly hair has transformed. Two people have asked me to buy them this conditioner and respective shampoo as gifts. Like I said in my other review, you couldn't pay me to use another brand.
I was originally attracted to this conditioner because it has an amazing smell that sticks around. I loved this conditioner when I first got it because it has a lot of slip and left my hair feeling smooth immediately after. However, after a month of using it I noticed that my hair was THE WORST it has ever been. It was rough, damaged, and tangled easily. After a quick look at the ingredients list it was clear that the silicone (dimethicone) was coating my hair and preventing moisture from entering my hair shaft. I also paired this with a sulfate free shampoo so I had so much buildup. I gave it 2 stars for the smell but it’s not worth it. Maybe if I used a clarifying shampoo and a hair mask followed by the conditioner it would’ve been fine.chimnykianko
My hair was depressing me and I had started to compare it to HAY that’s how dry it was. It didn’t help that I also have fine thin hair. I looked so unkept. I decided to give the hydrating conditioner a try. WOW the difference it made in one day was astounding. And now after 3 weeks my hair feels so smooth and surprisingly heavier! Unfortunately, I bought this & the Hydro Style Flexi Jelly because of the “build-up free” claim. I genuinely cannot understand how Curlsmith can make this claim. I love some of their other products, but this combination is 100% not build-up free. I used a clarifying shampoo, rinsed my conditioner out well with a scalp massager, and used only these two products. I do not have dry scalp (no products = zero flaking) and I do not have dandruff. However, with these two products applied according to their directions…. Massive build-up. I seriously do not understand. I don’t plop, so these products do not sit on my scalp. For reference, my hair is a mix of 2b, 2c, and 3a curl patterns. I've literally tried dozens of curl creams and mousses and they all either made my hair look flat at the root, feel dirty, or simply just didn't work. This curl product was purchased on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It enhances your natural curl pattern without making them appear to look curlier. It's light and makes your hair look so so soft and touchable. It doesn't have a heavy scent it just smells like a clean shampoo or conditioner in my opinion. A little goes a long way, however it's one of those products where you can accidentally use too much and it won't weigh your hair down. If you want a tighter hold you may want to consider using a gel with it, but I find that the product stands alone quite well. I see myself repurchasing this again and again.dia
I purchased the co-wash and the air dry cream. I have been on a journey for the right hair care products. I have wavy thin hair that has alot of frizz. I have tried ALOT of products! I used the co-wash and I felt like it didn't give enough conditioning, but I figured let's see the end result. I applied the air dry cream which seemed heavy at first for my hair then I applied alil oil (not from curlsmith) just on my ends. I went to sleep. I woke up to dry hair and CURLS!!! SOFT BOUNCY CURLS…it has been a long time since I have wore my hair wavy/curly because I couldn't find the right products. I was so happy with the end result and my curls lasted 2 days and no frizz. I then went to ulta and purchased several of the curlsmith products. FYI the air dry cream does seem heavy if u have fine/thin hair but alil goes a very long way. I live in France and ordered several hundred dollars back in December for my parents to bring from NY. I had never tried the products but after reading all the reviews praising them, I thought there would be no way they wouldn't work. Well I was wrong, I tried the Climate Control, Moisture Lock, Conditioner, Curl Quencher, Deep conditioner AND I could not get a brush through my hair with any of the products. I was really bummed as I was looking forward to finally have something that worked to tame my curls especially for the summer months. What made it worse is my experience with trying to return the product to Ouidad. The reason I ordered A LOT of product because I had confidence that it would work. Unfortunately my parents had to cancel their January trip due to last minute Covid travel changes implemented by France. I wound up traveling to the states in February and that is when I finally had the opportunity to try the product. After writing to Ouidad about my predicament and asking if they can make an exception, due to the circumstances of my situation, for which I have proof and allow me to return the unused product.The manager Saouda gave me a hard no, she didn't even attempt to meet me half way. Policy and rules prevailed!!! Instead of looking at it as an individual case. Guess they don't see me as a future customer so why bother making exceptions. Anyway, its my own fault for trusting the reviews and not the product before ordering such a large amount. Moral of the story, particularly for overseas clients… try the product first to make sure it woks for your hair. I have super thin curly hair. I'm from MS and just moved to Denver CO. Going from humidity to dry weather really did a number on my curls. My hair was so dry frizzy not shiny and no bounce. I've tried so many different products. This products gives my hair life!! I am sooo happy I found this!! And whenever I go back home to Mississippi it makes my hair even better. Tried this product based on the other reviews. After the first use it seems to do a good job with hydration and curls. However the smell is so pungent of that of Dial soap left over from the 80s it's hard to handle the stench it perpetually puts out during and after use. I had hoped that maybe the bottle I'd received from this website was maybe just bad. I tried calling customer service everyday for the past week only to be told the wait time would be 5 minutes and then told no one was available and to leave a message. I never received a call back. I emailed and received a notification that my email has been received however upon following up four days later still have yet to hear from anyone. I can't imagine this is how this product is supposed to smell as its odor is completely different from all the other products within this company's line. However without customer service getting back to me I will never know any different.

First off, this smells so good! I love the smell and the feel of this Shampoo. It is thick and a little goes a long way. Since I was washing out 6wks of Box Braid detritus, I needed all that lather. I liberally added shampoo and water to my parched hair and just luxuriated in the foamy, silky suds. My scalp was treated to a lovely moisture wash and massage (by me, hey only some things come in a bottle folks), and I felt my hair get squeaky clean, but did not feel like the hair cuticle suffered dryness for it. I rinsed it out and reached for the companion Conditioner because, I dont know how you do your hair, but mine will split up the shaft if there's no fat, oil, vitamins or fatty vitamin oils in it to seal the hair shaft and make my crazy ionic curly bonds behave, lol. All in all, I really enjoy this Shampoo. I was gifted a Sample by #influenster for #CremeofNature in a #voxbox and I really enjoyed trying it out. I did not need to use an entire sample for my past my shoulder length hair, it was thick, creamy but not un-sudsy and just a delight to work into and rinse out of my hair. No residual soapiness, no extra effort getting the lather out, rinsed completely clean. I am quite impressed with this line and would recommend it to any person of color, actually, any person of any color. I believe this company has products for living for all races. This Conditioner is so Creamy and so smooth, I needed way more than was in my sample, lol. I recieved an #incentivized sample of the Conditioner in a #voxbox for the #CremeofNature Pure Honey line. I adore this line! Amazing, but let's talk about the Conditioner itself. Water is the first ingredient, not some word no one can pronounce. There is Aloe, Shea Butter, Chamomile, Coconut oil, Silk Amino Acids, Panthenol, Honey, Olive Oil, Safflower Oil and much more inside. The oils and extracts baby your strands after Shampooing (hopefully with the companion Creme of Nature Pure Honey Moisturizing Dry Defense Shampoo for Dry Damaged Hair) and replace any moisture lost in the warm water cleansing routine. The exact oils replaced are easily drawn into the hair shaft and will plug cracks and damage so the hair wont break or split. The scent, yay, the feel, whoopee, the oils, yeah great, but how does it perform? Well my lovelies, this Conditioner is so nutritive, that if you follow directions and leave it in for the full 5 minutes then distribute by comb, rinse and style, you will find definition of curls, coils and waves AND softness and shine like you've not known before. I was really amazed at the softness and how my ends didnt need 6lbs of leave in conditioner to not feel like I was the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz! I needed about half again as much as was recommended, but my hair is super dooper parched and I need lots of Conditioner. I enjoyed the Conditioner but it could have been a bit thicker for a stay on for 5 minute treatment, I find that the rinse out immediately ones are ok being a bit on the thinner side, but when your hair is soaking wet the ends tend to get shafted in the conditioner game because of the water accumulation that takes the conditioner off the part of the hair that needs it the most, the ends. Other than this, this conditioner can be a game changer for many people. If you have a dry scalp in Winter, or anytime, try this line out! I have a relaxer but I prefer to use natural hair shampoos and conditioner on my hair because I feel like it is usually not to harsh on my hair. I actually liked this shampoo! The smell is amazing it has a nice hunny smell to it. One thing that I really liked was that a little bit of product went a long way. I received the sample packet of this shampoo (picture included). Usually I would use that whole sample packet and still need more because I have a lot of hair. I only used about 3/4 of the packet and washed it through my hair twice. My hair is naturally curly. I tried many products to try and keep the freeze at bay. The humidity where I live is ridiculous. This actually helped me out so so much. My hubby bought me the dyson hair curler set, as soon as I was done the curls would fall and the frizz took over. I wanted to love the dyson, but was really regretting the amount my hubby paid for it. Mixed chicks saved me totally… I gave it a try with my dyson and it actually worked wonders. I air curled it yesterday and they are still looking good today. This does work on all hair types. My oldest daughter's hair is closer to mine with a lot of frizz and my youngest has the brittle hair texture with the tighter curls. Both are also loving this. My go to leave in. Blends in smoothly and my hair soaks up this product. What needs to be improved is the smell of this product because it's underwhelming. Also sometimes the product can leave my curls crunchy if I don't follow up with a smoothing styling cream or an oil. Other than that I find that these are small sacrifices based off the other leave-in conditioners that are on the market that will sometimes leave my hair with lots of residue or no moisturized. I am no hair expert. I have semi curly, semi wavy, straight in some places, a little dry here, a little oily there type of hair. It just doesn’t know what it is doing. I wash with a very good shampoo, condition, then put this absolute miracle, light weight leave-in conditioner in my hair and all of a sudden my hair gets its act together! I LOVE this leave in! It smells so delightful, and really makes your hair feel nice. I actually applied this product right after my wash, and right before my deep condition. I had an idea that it could possibly help with the strengthening part of the process, underneath the deep conditioner. It's not often i find something for my curly hair that just works and i need to review to hopefully help others in their curly hair journey. I have a mixture of tight and loose curls and ringlets but my hair is prone to frizz. It doesn't matter what i put on my hair and i have tried everything, 2 days later i have a halo of frizz. This cream is amazing, definitely a holy grail for me. I use it as a curl cream (leave in) and 6 days later i still have no frizz. This is unheard of. I love the creamy texture, don't be put off by the oil in the name as it's not greasy at all. It leaves my hair soft, bouncy, defined and shiny. Yes shiny, something curly girls know is hard to achieve. I follow up with either the souffle or gel and hover over with my diffuser so as not to break the cast. Then finally use the serum to scrunch in. My hair has never looked or smelled so good. Worth every penny and i have literally paid a fortune for those sponsored curly hair brands that pop up but leave your hair feeling like straw and do nothing for your curls.Kirsty
Curlsmith gifted me a free sample of this conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. This cream is rather rich, but you need very little product, so it doesn't weigh down the hair. I'd start with a dime-sized amount and add more as needed. I tried it on two different textures, 3C and 4C, both shoulder length. I got the best results using a nickel-sized and quarter-sized amount, respectively. It makes both curls and coils look healthy, shiny, and hydrated. It doesn't weigh hair down, and I love, most of all, that it doesn't leave hair feeling soft, not crunchy. It looks fabulous and actually feels like hair! I have to note that following the directions is crucial for my desired results, especially on coily hair. I comb it out completely before washing, and constantly rake my fingers through it while washing and conditioning to keep it detangled Once the Oil-In Cream is raked through soaking wet hair, I use the recommended praying hands method to cover the strands as best I can, but I also gently tug as I go to elongate the coils. I find this helps immensely with shrinkage. Tie it up and fluff it in the morning and it's good for 2-3 days without reapplication, unless you feel like a little additional moisture. If you wash weekly, it doesn't leave hair a sticky, greasy mess, either. Overall, while using this cream takes a few extra minutes of care, the results are well worth the effort. Also, considering the amount needed even on thick hair, this jar holds a good amount of product. This is my first experience with the Curlsmith brand, and I'm delighted that it does what it says. I have heard great things about this product on media platforms that I decided to give it a go. I purchased the smaller tub for my first purchase incase it did not agree with my hair. I have tried many products over the years and many products claim to do wonders for curly hair and these many products have ended up being a let down. This product without question does exactly what is says on the tin. From my first use I could see the difference and feel the difference it made to my curls. I have 2c/3a curls. This cream is thick and a little goes a long way. It did not way my hair down at all. My curls were tighter and so much shine to them. There is no cast or crunch. My curls are so soft. The smell of the product is out of this world. I hate products that do not smell nice. This one smells like a fruit salad. I can not recommend this product highly enough. I love this product line, but unfortunately, the double butter does not go well with my hair. The leave in conditioner is superior for my hair type for moisturizing. The double butter gives my hair a course feel. It is too thick. I have to add coconut oil or some other moisturizer to get a softer feel. My hair type is bushy curly….tri-racial mixed. Keracare Natural Textures Butter Cream is a moisturiser not a styling product. I found this product worked best when using a surface free moisturising shampoo and conditioner. I bought this thinking it was more for styling because I heard it gave good definition; this product does give good definition and reduces frizz, however found there was still shrinkage and my hair was still puffy. My hair is thick, but the product didn't stretch the curls at all and was a little heavy. I have used other moisturising products that stretches my curls more, but admittedly it does say it's for moisturising. I have purchased the defining custard for styling but heard this can be crunchy,so will apply the butter cream after. Hopefully the product will work better!Lilly
I don't know what was wrong with this product but it smelled awful. I've purchased this makers product a number of times and the smell wasn't over whelming and it was light with a floral scent. But this product smelled OLD! As if it had been setting on the shelf for a while and whomever needed to get rid of it due to it expiration date. I rubbed some of the product in my hands and there were clumps in jar. I don't know what the shelf life of these products are but this one was not good in my opinion. This is one of the best moisturizers I have come by, it leaves my hair shiny, defined, and my curls look healthier than ever! It pairs well with gel or even by itself. I can easily refresh my curls with just this product alone. I use it in damp hair and even on dry hair if I'm just refreshing my ends. It was not as thick as many comments made it out to be, I have 3b/c curls and it works on my hair great! It also can be watered down adding water to it as you apply it. Those using this line should be aware most of these products are made for those with thicker curls/coils. So if you have thinner or wavy hair this may not be the product for you. This product works really well for my type 4, frizzy, high porosity hair. I have a mix of fine and coarse strands, so I wouldn't recommend this to someone with only super fine hair, as it is, as others have noted, thick and somewhat sticky if you don't move fast enough. I've found ways around this by thinning it out with water and covering the jar with the lid when I'm not actively scooping out product to use (it will become sticky and thicken up when exposed to air for too long). Works well for me when I work in small sections, apply it to one section, and immediately twist that section. If you apply it to your whole head at once and think you're going to go back through and easily twist it all, think again! It will become tacky and tangle your hair if left to sit on it without styling. This hasn't been a problem for me when untwisting my hair though. It's too heavy for me to use on wash days, so I stick to lighter products like Melanin' leave-in and butter. But this is my go-to when I refresh/re-moisturize my hair a week later. I lightly dampen my hair, apply a tiny bit of Melanin leave-in, then a layer of this and follow with a layer of grease/oil. Helps smooth down my frizz without my usual need for gel or mousse. The scent is too strong for me, but I like fragrance-free everything, so I can't really weigh in on this aspect. I've never experienced flaking with this; however, I don't use more than a dime size amount on each chunky twist and I always follow it with grease/oil, so one or both of these could be the reason why.Gina
I have 4b, high porosity hair and this product keeps it super moisturized. I use it about 3 times a week, whenever I style my hair and after I wash it. It is the only product I've tried that really does the job. It's great if you have a simple hair care routine but if you like to style your hair a lot, or define your curls with gel it can be kind of unfortunate. It doesn't mix well with gel AT ALL. My hair would have clumps all the time. It does define my curls a bit but not completely. Again, it's perfect if you use it without gel.Arlene

This product has absolutely changed the look of my hair! I've been using NaturAll Club products exclusively for a year now. My hair has never looked this good. It's in the best condition that it has ever been in and the growth is phenomenal. This is my first time using this moisturizer. I applied it after rinsing out my avocado deep conditioner, which I leave in overnight. I oiled my scalp, applied this moisturizer, and sectioned my hair in triangles from the crown on down, to put it in braids. I allowed it to air dry then rocked this braid out for two weeks. I rebraided every night. I applied NAC leave in conditioner, detangled and rebraided every other night. This picture was taken about a week in. This is the only product line I need. Hands down my favorite Hair Moisturizer! My hair can handle the occasional thick consistencies of certain products but its very prone to build up. This product is lightweight but I find that its buildable. The more you put in, youll find you will get the same results as you would with a thick cream which I like. It doesnt leave a cast unless you put in alot but its a nice soft cast that holds your curl well so I guess it possibly can double as a styler but not really. I prefer to put in enough to leave my hair naturally soft because Im mainly using it to keep my hair hydrated. I have 2c/3a hair and find this brings out my 3a alot more. I just love it. Its keeps my hair soft and healthy which is all I aim for with this product. Best for days where youre not really wanting to do anything to your hair or is probably just staying home. I absolutely hate the smell. First product so far that I’ve tried that I really, really don’t like. The smell is too fruity and sweet. As a matter of fact, gnats are constantly swarming my head when I’m outdoors, and I spend a great deal of times outside. Bees even do an about face and start chasing me, much to my dismay because I’m allergic. I gave it away. I however love the smell of everything else…Audrey D.

An amazing product for my dry, frizzy hair! This smells like warm, smooth coconut 🥥! Compared to alternatives, this has a VERY strong scent, so be cautious if you're sensitive to fragrances! I would improve this product by offering this is a lighter lotion for those with thinner hair not to overdo it, however you can use less product and avoid applying to your scalp to avoid weighing your hair down. This met all of my expectations, my hair is less frizzy and my curls have more definition. I would recommend to everyone with curly hair!rosaline.e
I LOVE THIS DANG PRODUCT !! I tried it once and have continuously bought it because I use it pretty much daily. Leaves beautiful curls without the excessive oily residue and extremely soft. I bought this product not knowing my hair type which is my bad. So if you have low porosity hair like me, this product might not be the best for you. I used this weekly and found that my hair felt extra greasy and had a lot of build up. The butters caused weighed down my curls and they still had a lot of frizz. It does smell good and I bet would be great for high porosity hair. But if you have low porosity hair, it's probably better to just avoid this product.Kenna

Before trying this, I had assumed most cream products were a bit of a gimmick, as they all tend to weigh my curls down and make my hair feel greasy. This product legitimately influenced the softness, shape and resiliency of my curls. To really test its power, I brought it with me on a week in the woods where I wasn't shampooing or conditioning my hair. Even without my routine or a lick of any other haircare products, amid humidity, rain, and a ton of sun and wind exposure, my hair looked and felt amazing. I bought this for my 6 month old son who has very kinky black hair (an amazballs fro that brad would kill to get his hands on), and myself who has loose, curly waves (and I am hispanic) so I needed something dynamic. This works great for both our hair, but especially my sons fro! After bath, comb out the kinks, pull this through his hair, let dry, and then poof it up! I also style with viper oil to make his curls shiny, and we have a refresher mix of our leftover wavetech and electric rain. WE LOVE XMONDO!!!Carly
Before i had my hair bleached by my wonderful long time hair stylist, i used the brand mondo wave tech foam for my natural curly hair. So after having my hair bleached by my stylist i had no issue or second thought to order the wave tech hydration foam. It did not go well. My hair clumped together badly, and became extremely knotted again, after using the xmondo toner shampoo. Fast forward to trying to brush it when it was dry. I had horrible sticky caked product on my scalp, hair, and in my detangling brush. Horrible to feel how sticky and caked my hair was. Until my hair grows out the bleached chemicals i will not be using xmondo products.Sarah
