Full disclosure I was entirely prepared to hate this and give it a bad review as it wouldn’t work for me like most others didn’t but I’m so glad I was proved wrong. I’m someone who is sooo picky when it comes to moisturizers because I always hated how thick and oily they felt on my skin. While I do have combination leaning oily skin I was a bit apprehensive on its claims but I truly 100% am loving this. It is super lightweight which is something I always try to find in any moisturizer because I need for it to be lifht right AND effective. It sinks into your skin fairly quickly and doesn’t leave the skin feeling wet at all. Makes true on its fragrance free promise bc i can’t smell a thing and my skins gotten a bit more sensitive as I got older so that’s great! I’ve been wearing it as my moisturizer under my makeup and I really like how it feels. First impression when unboxing: The box and bottle are the same as the traditional packaging, simple, effective, pleasing to the eye. I opened the flip cap and took a whiff, there’s a light scent that reminds me of tanning lotion/sunscreen (kind of like that cooking bacon-esque scent). I read other reviews saying that a little goes a long way so I squeezed out a pea sized amount. The formula is super light, and is a water gel consistency (which made me nervous for the mattifying factor). I started with the back of my hand to see a comparison. A little definitely went a long way, and traveled up my entire forearm. I compared my hands and the hand with the product was significantly less shiny, and all of the cracks (it’s cold and dry where I am at the moment) were blurred. I tried it on my face and it definitely mattified my oily areas, but I wasn’t sure how hydrated I was. This can be a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It wasn’t greasy and didn’t leave behind a film, but at the touch it felt like I didn’t have anything on and felt like I needed to reapply. When I did reapply though, it felt like I overused product so it definitely achieved its claim to fame. I'm not particularly wowed by this product, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I do think this moisturizer lives up to its claims – matte finish, good for oily/combo skin types. My skin used to run on the oily side until I really got into skincare. Now my skin is more normal, though still acne prone.I've been using this moisturizer daily, AM PM. it does the job, but I don't mind a more hydrated look, hell, even feeling more hydrated would be nice too – something I'm not really getting with this moisturizer. If you like a more matte moisturizer, then this one is for you. Texture reminds me of a gel-cream, so not the sticky jelly texture like some gel moisturizers.The design of the cap also isnt the best. one of the two attachments broke after only 2 uses. they're too wide set apart from each other compared to other squeeze tubes that I use. I haven't reviewed anything on here yet, but this product really seems worth a review. I have an annoying combination skin that both gets dry/flaky AND oily/shiny. This moisturizers works like a charm, giving my skin hydration and controlling shine on my nose. I have no idea how they formulate this product to achieve this monumental task, but they somehow managed to do it. I used to be able to only control the shine on my nose by putting on powder, but with this moisturizer, I don't even need to put on any powder, and my nose still does not get excessively shiny. I highly recommend this for anyone who is struggling with shiny skin due to oil. Also, I noticed that, in the winter, when the air is particularly dry, this moisturizer doesn't give quite enough moisture, so now I complement it with the FAB Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration at night. That gives my skin the extra moisture at night, and then I use this product in the morning. Together, they give my skin enough hydration in the winter while still controlling the shine. I know I sound like some sort of paid spokesperson, but this is just me being excited about a line of products that actually works for my skin.Luce
I'm really enjoying this product. It does what it says, moisturizes while controlling oil. My skin gets even more oily when I'm not wearing makeup and I hate the way it feels. I can go a day without makeup with this product and it's really nice. It definitely provides a light moisture too. I get dryness around my eyes and mouth and nose. If you let this fully dry before applying makeup, you'll be fine. Primer is a key factor as well. I use a the smash box matte primer. If you need more moisturizer, just use a moisturizing primer for dry areas and you'll be good. Worth a try.MR
I have an extremely oily complexion and never thought i could keep my oil under control throughout the day while also keeping my skin hydrated until i tried this moisturizer. For reference, without this moisturizer my skin turns into a grease bucket after 15 minutes of washing and this moisturizer makes my complexion look completely normal for about 4-8 hours depending on my skin that day. Once my face starts to build up a bit of oil after many hours, i can just pat it off and be good for another couple hours before patting any oil off again. Lasts a full days wear. I also find when i dont use this moisturizer my acne and blackheads start coming out and also my pores become bigger without it, showing just how much it actually helps my acne/blackhead prone and large pored-skin. I hope they never discontinue this moisturizer otherwise i will never be able to make my skin complexion look as normal as this makes it throughout the day. Also this is also super moisturizing for my skin surprisingly and i never dry out from it. The product actually does exactly what it says it does which is control oil and moisturize which is rare for a product to really live up to all of its claims. I see reviews here that say it’s too drying and give a bad review for the rating to go down, which frustrates me because it’s really meant for moderately oily to extremely oily skin so of course it will be drying to less oily skin because it isnt meant for it. Okay so it took me a bit to realize you shouldn’t be using this as the last step of moisturizing unless your skin is very oily. This is meant to provide moisture not retain and keep it in like most moisturizers. Which is fine because the effect when I use it more like a serum is amazing!! Plump and a glass skin like texture that looks hydrated without being oily! It also smells legitimately like a watermelon unlike most artificial scents. I like that it comes in a nice glass bottle and have already purchased again in various sizes after I received it as a gift the first time. I will say it is quite overpriced due to the amount you get and how much you can go through but the product itself is worth it so I took off one star. For context, I've been using this moisturizer all summer. I purchased the mini watermelon moisturizer and have used almost the entire bottle. I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and I had tried different creams and such to bring moisture back to my skin but nothing was really working. I use 1-1.5 pumps of this moisturizer twice daily and it has made a huge difference in my skin texture. Before I had patches of dryness which affected my foundation application but not anymore. Love the smell and that its very light weight, almost like a serum. I have oily skin most of the time (sometimes combo) but last year for a short time I suddenly had dry flaky & itchy skin patches and found out I suffered from skin dermatitis. Being sensitive to a lot of ingredients, I started researching skin care products & their list of ingredients to find something more natural and safer for my skin. This is an amazing moisturizer for combination skin and acne-prone skin! The texture was really nice and felt great on the skin; it's light but moisturizing and doesn't weigh the skin down (you'll forget you were wearing it!) My bottle has lasted quite a while which goes to say that a little goes a long way with this product! This moisturizer is considered for sensitive skin that has a very lightweight texture, however, I have noticed that putting it on a damp skin can be really irritating, it burns the skin. So after cleansing your skin make sure it’s not damp to avoid burning sensation. My skin took a month and a half to adjust to it, however, I still sometimes get that burning sensation. Although I still cannot understand why it had that burning effect, my guess is probably a damaged skin barrier.. but who knows.. Ive been waiting to review this product because I just wasnt sure about it. If I could, Id give it 3.5 stars. Let me start by saying I have very problematic skin. My skin is super dry and easily irritated. A lot of moisturizers exacerbate my skin problems. I chose this because I thought the oil free formula might give my skin the breathing room it needs. Unfortunately, the product is refreshing but not at all moisturising. If my skin is dry and I apply it, my skin still looks dry and flaky a few minutes after application. It is necessary to use another moisturizer. Luckily, the dramatically different moisturising lotion came in a grab bag I purchased at the same time and I loved it. Ended up buying a large bottles as I was burning through the 50 ml.I use a hyaluronic acid serum under my moisturizer in the evenings, and the hydrating jelly feels a lot like that product. Indeed, hyaluronic acid is one of the key ingredients. If you think of this product as a serum, then its good bang for your buck. Or, if you have oily skin, this could definitely be a good product for you. Ive also tried applying it in the morning under my tinted moisturizer which works okay. However, the jelly does leave behind a slightly sticky residue that is more noticeable when other products are added on top. LISTEN I’ve tried DOZENS of moisturizers for my greasy, oily skin and this one is one of the only ones that doesn’t leave my skin looking like my face was just soaked in oil yet still hydrates and smoothens out my pores and texture. Not sticky at all and it just feels comfortable. Other moisturizers end up feeling greasy after 1-2 hours. This one just feels so clean and absorbs soooo well into the skin. I probably have the most oily skin in the world so trust me when I say this stuff actually controls oil it’s crazy. My skin is olive/tan with hyperpigmentation, acne scars from years ago, large pores, and horomonal acne…the most difficult skin to deal with especially around my period because I get a lot of hormonal breakouts (white heads and cysts). Trust me this stuff is amazing. Just for reference other moisturizers that have also worked for me are the neutrogena hydroboost gel and the drunk elephant peptide something. I have really oily skin and this moisturizing gel works for me. I was hesitant to try Clinique moisturizer again after having a horrible experience with the original lotion a few years ago (I broke out so badly I actually have a few small scars and bumps to this day). But this is very different from the lotion IMO. The gel texture is light and refreshing and doesn’t exacerbate my oily skin; also totally unscented. It’s not mattifying exactly but it doesn’t make extra shine. When I wake up my skin looks and feels soft, not super greasy like most night creams I have tried. I use the Sephora mattifying moisturizer on my face during the day and use this gel on my neck and the two small dry patches I have on my chin. So far this routine is working well for me and I’m really happy with it. I would recommend for oily skin, this comes in a small tube if you just want to try it out.sparkledragon

I have ridiculously oily skin. I’m talking about so-oily-you could cook-with-the-amount-of-oil-on-my-face, and it really didn’t do anything to keep the oil away. The Southern California humidity isn’t as bad as in some other places, but still. I’m pretty bummed because Caudalie usually has some pretty good products and I’m always looking for ways to mattify my skin. It also took me a while to figure out the best way to put this on. Upon application, I loved how lightweight it felt and how quickly it absorbed and didn’t leave a sticky feeling. However, one should never leave the house without SPF, so I experimented with ways to add this to my routine. No matter if I mixed this with my SPF or if I applied this first and then the SPF, my skin would still look and feel not quite oily, but not very matte. Bummer, right? It does have a nice, clean scent to it. I’m pretty sure it’s just the standard Vinopure line scent. It might be a big strong for those who are sensitive to scents, though. All in all, it was pretty underwhelming in terms of oil control, but it still felt nice as a moisturizer. I wouldn’t say it’s now my go-to. I have combination skin that can get very oily during the warm, humid summer months. As a result, It can be a struggle finding a moisturizer that is lightweight enough for me to wear during the day while still hydrating my skin. The vinopure oil-control moisturizer did a wonderful job of this and was even great when worn under makeup! I frequently have issues of my foundation breaking up after a few hours of wear if I use skincare before application, but this product didn't have that effect. It was lightly hydrating, enough that my skin felt smooth and plump, and it absorbed very quickly which i appreciated. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that this product is fragrance-free since it does have a light scent to it but fragrances can be irritating to my skin. I also love that is comes in a tube! it may not feel as luxe as a pretty glass jar but it is far more hygienic and easier to use. I received a free sample of Caudalie's Vinopure Oil-Control Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin from Topbox Circle. Receiving a #freeproduct did NOT cause me to leave a positive review. I actually DO have oily, blemish prone skin. Normally I can't wear makeup or BB cream for more than an hour before my oily skin causes the makeup/BB cream to break up, look blotchy and patchy, and just overall terrible…. No matter what I apply to my face beforehand. The best mattifying primers and setting powders are just no match for my oily skin. The photo with the blue wall in the background is the "before" photo. I had just taken a shower and dried my hair. No product applied to my face at all, and you can already see my face is starting to look oily. In the other photo, several hours later, the only products I've used all day are the Vinopure Oil-Control Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin, Purlisse BB cream, and mascara. No primer, no touch ups or oil blotting sheets, no setting powder, no nothin. My face looks a little shiny but honestly it looks so much better than normal. My makeup isn't sliding off my face! Ive been using this moisturizer after showering in the morning, and after washing my face at night. It doesn't feel greasy at all and hasn't caused any new breakouts for me. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is because I find the scent totally repulsive… Thankfully the scent doesn't last long. If you're on the fence I think it's worth a try.lisatron138

I've decided I really like this moisturizer. It feels almost like a light gel moisturizer, and seems to sit on the skin more than other moisturizers I've used. I feel like my skin is protected this way and it is a nice light layer between my skin and makeup. And when I don't wear makeup, it is absorbed enough so that my skin looks hydrated but is still protected. I bought this because I was using the Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream, and I was looking for alternatives to that. I came across Hyram's video about the Dr. Jart products, and then found out that Hyram now has his own skincare line. In the video, I also learned that essential oils can be harmful to your skin just like how general "fragrance" is harmful. It seemed like Hyram has done lots of research and is very knowledgeable of different skincare ingredients. I'm glad I tried this. I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually, foundation doesn't work with my skin very well. But, since I started using this moisturizer, makeup seems to be more even, and my skin looks and feels better without makeup. Thank you!K
First of all how bad can you rate a product that helps the world around it? Honestly. I cannot explain how much I love this product and how much I wish I could buy more of it. I remember reading reviews saying that if you have dry skin then you should consider looking somewhere else, and let me tell you that is bull! I have combination skin, but I do often get flare-ups of eczema on my face. Never in my life have I had a product that was able to keep my skin moisturized and not oily at the same time. I felt that I had to sacrifice one thing for another and that is just NOT true. Life-changing, honestly. Working to buy the whole collection soon haha, a college student has to take their products once at a time. However, I definitely know that I will be buying them all from Selfless by Hyram. Bought this on a whim while on sale, not expecting much at all… I was shocked to find it controlling shine in my oil-slick of a T-zone, while simultaneously hydrating enough to prevent settling/breakdown in my under eye area. Absorbs quickly and doesn’t pill if over-applied (I run late often and in my haste have been known to overdue it). But this was definitely a win for me! Side note: after reading other reviews I was so confused by the comments regarding the scent. I made a point of checking mine as I applied, and then again rubbed into the back of my hand. I bought this to have a smaller sized everyday moisturiser yet there are so many flaws with this cream. Firstly, it smells and looks exactly like sorbolene cream. It reminds me of playing with my grandmas skin creams in the 90’s, the smell, the texture. Secondly, I exfoliate, cleanse, tone then moisturise. This doesn’t at all soak into my skin and when rubbed in it turns white and basically stays like that, then dries and leaves a sticky feeling. Overall this for my skin isn’t a good cream by any standards, and it’s very very small for just under $30.Mia83
I'm very pleased with this moisturizer; it's lightweight and has absolutely no smell. It's more of a gel consistency than your average cream/lotion/moisturizer. I am still trying to get my ratio correct, I notice if I start at my cheeks and move inward, I am have the least amount of oils after a few hours- but if I start at the nose or forehead and work outwards, I tend to have a more oily T-zone (I also wear glasses 24.7)- But even still, I'm VERY pleased with the results; the oil I DO get isn't near the amount i would normally, so this is an improvement! I am obsessed with this moisturizer. I work in the skincare world so I’ve bought and been gifted and tried a million moisturizers and this has quickly become my go to. It’s the perfect every day moisturizer, not too thin but not too thick either. Feels so smooth and hydrating going on, never leaves me feeling greasy or oily. I just stared to use a stronger prescription retinoid (tretinon) and this moisturizer layers on top of it perfectly, keeps my skin from being too dry or flaky, and is great day or night. I have tried many many moisturizers over the years and this is definitely in my top five! First of all I was skeptical when I first got it because when you squeeze it out it looks like lotion, and I was like heck nah I ain't putting lotion on my face so I did a spot test on my hand before I did a spot test on my cheek (plz always do spot tests, you never know how your skin is going to react to a new product) GIRL it doesn't look like it would glide on thick but it's THICC, with two Cs. A little goes a longggg way, you can feel the hydration after one use. and if you don't want a thicc moisturizer, don't buy this but if you do it's perfect for you! I received a sample of this lotion and tried it only to get a terrible itchy rash all over my face and neck (exactly where I used this lotion) about a day later! The rash got progressively worse over the course of another day. I've never had a reaction like this to a skincare product. This is the only new product I've tried recently, though I've used all sorts of things over the years. I suspect this is some kind of allergic reaction; the only allergy I have that I know of is a mild one to shellfish (iodine dye). I suspect the algae ingredients, possibly Ahnfeltiopsis Concinna Extract, may be involved here but am not sure. I've used other products with marine ingredients and had no issues. I'm still dealing with the rash and itch now, and relieved only that it's a pandemic so I can legitimately not leave my house until it clears up. After paying a great amount of money on this moisturiser and using it up in a few short months, I decided to unscrew the top to try and scrape some more product out. Boy was I fooled. Only the top squeeze part actually contains the product, and the other 3/4 of the container is empty and just an illusion, tricking us to think we get a whole container of product. Please be careful before you use this on your face. Test on small patch of skin first. So I used this on my face for a few days and had no reaction. The following week I applied it to my neck. Even though it was free these are my words and my honest experience with this product. lam giving it 4 stars for how it is unavailable and it being sold out in full size. This is a lightweight serum that absorbs quickly and easily. It is very hydrating but not greasy. Slighty scented, so can be used often as needed and great for sensitive, combination, dry, and oily skin. This product does not leave any residue on your skin and quickly absorbed. It leaves the skin soft and suppel. So far I'm enjoying this serum and have used it for a few days due to receiving a sample size. After a few days I noticed immediate results. I read that you can see improvements after 6 to 12 weeks and I'm 9 days into using and see a significant difference. My skin is moisturized, youthful looking, and refreshing finish look. I came across this with the gift set. Initially I didn't like it as it leaves an oily look and I had a hard time prepping my face for make up. I realized the sample I got from the gift was for DRY SKIN. I have combo skin ( super oily in my T zone ). Because I wanted to try the Smart Line, I purchased the one for combination skin. This little cream is like a magic elixir for those of us suffering with dry, sensitive (hormonal) skin. It’s so very soothing and hydrates so deeply. It doesn’t sit on the surface of the skin like so many other products marketed to dry skin. It actually sinks in and makes your skin feel more balanced and noticeably softer to the touch. Plus, there is no scent, which is such an added bonus. It wears very well under makeup with no pilling. Instead, I feel it helps my makeup to glide on easier as my face is prepped. It’s such a good price as well. For us in Canada a 40ml tube is 40$ which is so economical considering what I usually pay for skin care. It’s helped my skin so much this winter as we’ve been in lockdown and stuck inside with the heat on all day. Sometimes, in the evenings I just take a big blob of cream and massage it into my face for 20 minutes and I feel like I’ve had a mini facial. It really is a lovely product. And if you’re like me, struggling to find a cream that actually absorbs and feels like it’s helping soothe your dry skin, then you might want to consider this one!!

My oily skin looks perfect after using it, and it’s stays the same for entire day. I am 24 years old and I always have rashes on one cheek, especially before menstruation. I accidentally bought this cream in a pharmacy and used it in the morning and at night. I am very surprised that the cream coped with the rashes in two weeks and now I have only traces left! This is just a super cream for the last 3 years! This sunscreen is the worst. I've tried it three or four times now, and every time it gets in my eyes and they end up burning, watery,and painful, even though I avoid the eye area, and sometimes hours later. I can't believe this is an offering from a premium brand like MB at this price point. It feels like I am putting regular for-your-body suntan lotion on my face. I used this as a daily moisturizer after cleansing and using a toner. It absorbed into my skin well, and I loved the dewy way it made my skin look. I used the same small bottle for several months, so a little goes a long way! Unfortunately, it made my skin feel very congested, and my acne flared up. My pores were full of gunk, my face was really oily, and I started getting cystic acne on my face and neck. I quit using it three days ago and my skin has already calmed down immensely, and the cysts are going away. If you have skin that isn't acne-prone or is more dry, this could be great for you. When I first started using this moisturizer a few years ago I loved it. My recent purchase of this moisturizer hasn't been the best. I'm not sure if an ingredient has been added but I'm even more oily after I apply it. I started having continuous breakouts all over my face (cheeks, jawline, between eyebrows & forehead) for a month. I thought it was stress and other things. I decided to eliminate this product from my skincare routine just to see if it would help. My skin immediately started clearing up. I believe it's a good product just not for oily, sensitive & acne prone skin. I also noticed my make-up looking terrible by the end of the day. In the morning it would be fine, during mid-day I look like a oil stick. Today was my second day not using it under my makeup & my face is not oily at all & it still looks fresh! My pores no longer feel clogged! I still love the Farmacy brand & will continue to purchase other skincare items! I'm just praying my review will help you all come up with another moisturizer that's a little lighter, less clogging of the pores and less fragrances and ingredients.
The new formula ruined this moisturizer for me. I had a subscription and was obsessed with the original formula. The smell was the most amazing and refreshing scent. I always felt like I was transported to a tropical island, and applying it was my favorite part of my skincare routine. The scent just lifted me up and relaxed me. Now, the new formula has zero scent. The whole experience is non-existent for me as a result. The original formula also just felt better on my skin overall. I could even apply it right over and around my eye area, and never experienced any irritation. It actually helped soothe my eyes. The new formula burns! I’m so disappointed that the formula was changed so drastically. I really just hate this moisturizer now. It’s nothing like the original, which was my holy grail and addiction for years. I’ve been an avid user for years. The formula was perfect and never broke out my sensitive skin. UNTIL they changed the formula. I just purchased a new package and to say the difference is huge is a massive understatement. Whereas previously the moisturizer perfectly absorbed into my skin and truly had the oil free dewy glow you want, the new one adds this weird layer on top of your skin that just….sits there. It’s kind of sticky like it hasn’t fully absorbed and, this sounds dramatic, but it feels like it’s clogging my pores immediately. Like when you use a bad sunscreen, or a bad lotion in a pinch, and when you sweat you can feel that layer of sweat trying to come out but can’t and it just feels gross? Yeah. That’s how it feels almost immediately and then subsequently the rest of the day. You’re just sitting there not sweating and your face can’t breath or dry feeling. It gets worse, especially if you do end up outside and sweating. Needless to say, my sensitive skin that I actually had under continuous control for almost two years now looks like a battle zone with all kinds of breakouts coming up even in areas I don’t usually get them, like my neck. Honestly I am so happy with this moisturizer. The price point is incredible for how long the tube will last because of its thickness. It isn’t the most luxurious texture but I just apply it with wet hands to make it apply well and it doesn’t feel thick or heavy on my skin at all- just fresh and matte! I honestly love the aloe-like texture of it, it doubles as eyebrow gel…for real it works perfect. And my skin has been so much better than with any other product!! I eased into using it because it did feel potent at first and now after a few weeks of using it twice a day my skin texture has improved so much and I haven’t had any blemishes. My skin gets dry in the winter and this is actually healing the dry spots. I received a sample of the original formula and LOVED it. I have combination skin and have always had issues finding a good moisturizer. This one was light and easy to apply evenly. A little bit went a loooong way too. My makeup blended so much better than with any other one I’ve ever tried, and my cheeks didn’t dry out at all like with every other one I’ve tried. I was excited to find a moisturizer that worked so well and was extremely disappointed to learn it was not the same when I purchased the newly formulated moisturizer. I've been using the Water Cream for years. I loved the lightweight formula. I applied it twice daily after washing my face. It easily glided onto my skin when I applied it and absorbed into my quickly making it a mess free application. My face felt hydrated and smooth afterwards without feeling weighed down with product. However, when I most recently re-purchased the Water Cream I immediately noticed that the consistently was different. The cream was no longer lightweight. It felt heavier and almost had a whipped texture to it. I really had to rub the product to work it into my skin, but eventually it felt like the smooth product so was used to so I chalked it up to me overthinking it. However, within a few hours my face felt itchy and when I was able to look in a mirror I saw tiny bumps all over my face. I immediately washed my face off and used a different moisturizer to try to soothe my face. I'm aware that people's skin changes over time and need to adjust their skincare regimen over time. But because the cream felt so drastically different I looked into it and Tatcha has confirmed that they "had some very minor ingredient changes to the ingredient list to make it comply with international regulations." I am so disappointed that they changed the formula without putting anything in their product description or on their packaging in a way that i found noticeable. To start it off, I don't have a terrible acne problem, but I have a terrible problem with picking at my face and making it worse. I found out about tatcha through an ipsy bag but somehow forgot about it after. This little cream is like a magic elixir for those of us suffering with dry, sensitive (hormonal) skin. It’s so very soothing and hydrates so deeply. It doesn’t sit on the surface of the skin like so many other products marketed to dry skin. It actually sinks in and makes your skin feel more balanced and noticeably softer to the touch. Plus, there is no scent, which is such an added bonus. It wears very well under makeup with no pilling. Instead, I feel it helps my makeup to glide on easier as my face is prepped. It’s such a good price as well. For us in Canada a 40ml tube is 40$ which is so economical considering what I usually pay for skin care. It’s helped my skin so much this winter as we’ve been in lockdown and stuck inside with the heat on all day. Sometimes, in the evenings I just take a big blob of cream and massage it into my face for 20 minutes and I feel like I’ve had a mini facial. It really is a lovely product. And if you’re like me, struggling to find a cream that actually absorbs and feels like it’s helping soothe your dry skin, then you might want to consider this one!!
La Roche Posay Effaclar Matt Daily moisturizer is a great product. I love all products from this brand but especially this one. My oily skin looks perfect after using it, and it’s stays the same for entire day. It’s very gentle and do not cause any irritation on my sensitive skin.I’ve been using this for over 5 years or so and I can tell it’s irreplaceable. The best drugstore moisturizer ever. I am 24 years old and I always have rashes on one cheek, especially before menstruation. I accidentally bought this cream in a pharmacy and used it in the morning and at night. I am very surprised that the cream coped with the rashes in two weeks and now I have only traces left! This is just a super cream for the last 3 years! (I tried this brand before about 5 years ago, and it didn’t help me, maybe another cream). I advise everyone! Okay so one of my biggest part of my skin care routine is the moisturizer. It is so hard for me to find a product that is good for my skin and doesn’t clog my pores and works all in one. But this right here has snagged me. It has not broke mg skin out or clogged my pores which is huge for me. It also is so lightweight feeling and my skin just drinks this stuff up. It has helped with my dry spots/areas in my face which is a plus because usually I have a heck of a time finding stuff that helps in little time. My skin took a hit this winter so it was nice getting this voxbox in to try out and I am glad I found this product because I absolutely will be buying this when I run out. Now I do want to give this a full month to see if my skin takes to it for good from here on. Sometimes products had done well for me and then boom my skin goes haywire. But usually first couple uses I see things changing and like I said with this so far so good. This is super affordable, clean/vegan ingredients which is amazing especially for this cheap of a price point. I cannot say it enough give this stuff a try. I have combination/ breakout prone skin and this hasn’t caused my skin any irritation or change.samantha.k
This is a great moisturizer. I use it on very dry parts of my face- mostly my nose and forehead. Before using this, my nose was crusty and would flake during the day, but it was also sensitive to some products. I lathered this on my nose for about 3 weeks now and my nose is so much more moisturized and doesn’t get little bumps! It has no smell, which I appreciate since my skin can react to fragrance. There is a lot of product in the bottle-it will last you quite awhile and I still have more than half the bottle left after 3 weeks. I highly recommend giving this a try if you’re looking for a lightweight moisturizer for sensitive skin. The only thing I will say is that I still prefer the Happy Hydration moisturizer cream from elf. If you have dry skin like me, that one is much better to help hydrate the rest of the face. This one is more for sensitive skin, but I still really enjoyed this product along with the rest of the Pure Skin line.maddie13452
I received this as a free sample as part of the elf beauty squad, and I’m very pleasantly surprised! The cream is a little thick, but I only notice this feeling on my upper lip and as soon as it absorbs it’s very comfortable. That said, it takes a while to do so and almost feels like you’re moving the product around rather than it absorbing into your skin at first. You may have to massage (gently!!!) for a bit. I have oily skin so I’m not too fond of the greasy look- think sunscreen- but I love a healthy glow-from-within, moisturized look. This gives exactly that! Not ultra hydrating so I don’t know if I’d suggest it for dry skin, but it has a very nice finish and does not accentuate my pores. It’s almost soft matte. It’s also got niacinamide, which I’m always happy to see in a product! Although I’m not sure how much or how effective it will be for lighting hyperpigmentation. I have acne so my skin can be sensitive from spot treatment from time to time and this product felt like heaven to apply!! Thicker than most face creams but I guess that's why it's called "multi-cream." Hydrates effectively without seeming to cause or exacerbate acne; at least, not much. The smell is refreshing, almost therapeutic. So far, I like this moisturizer better than Sea & C, which broke me out a little, Crystal Matrix, which could be too hydrating during warmer months and Dreamy Youth, which enlarged my pores. This cream has single handedly repaired my moisturize barrier! I have congested but sensitive skin with hormonal acne, so finding a moisturizer was super hard. This product keeps my skin moisturized, firm and unclogged. Definitely recommend for easily clogged pores and oily skin. I wanted to love this lotion, not to mention this brand so much, but don't be blindsided by the packaging and its claims. For the past month I have been battling some intense acne that I have never had in my life before, and I hate to say it, but it started when I first began using the Pacifica brands. I first put it on after I had washed my face and went to bed. When I woke up I was balling my eyes out because my face was so bumpy and blemished, I've never had such intense acne, from my cheeks to my chin was tiny bumpy texture all over my face, with a few whiteheads on showcase, and I'm 29 years old!!!! Way too old for that. but It was acne to the max, my face was red and had extreme tiny bumps everywhere. I literally washed my face all day in hopes that it would go back to normal. Backstory: I wanted to switch my cosmetics to cruelty free, and all natural skin care. In the past 2 months I had purchased Pacifica's : kale lux lotion, stress free recovery lotion, skin revival microdermabrasion scrub, the future youth enzymatic resurfacing mask, the pore refine strawberry face mask, multiple cleansing towellettes, dreamy youth lotion, vital immersion mask, glow baby scrub, and the wake up beautiful sleep over mask. Everytime my skin would flare, I would try a different Pacifica product,(COMPLETELY BLINDED BY THE BEAUTIFUL PACKAGING) which lead to so much money wasted. In desperation I bought St. Ives Green Tea Blackhead clearing scrub and in one use, the red and swelling calmed down immensely.52
