Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I've had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model. Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem. Thought for sure that Hoover would've gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry. Will 'gift' my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.Reenie
This is my 4th floor mate, my last one the brush would not stay attached, This one I'm having a problem with the clear cover staying on. But all in all this is a good concept for cleaning and then rinsing the floor. I wash my floor and then suck up the water, then put clean water in the tank and re rinse the floor. I have 2 old doxie who pee, and this machine really helps with the clean up. I also use it on the rubber mats at my back door during the winter and rainy season. Until summer when I can take my mates outside for a go pressure washing. The company just needs to look at a better design for the brush and now the clear cover.LINDA
I bought this specifically to clean my laminate floors after a basement remodel that left a layer of Sheetrock dust is n the textured laminate. We scrubbed, mopped and everything else to try and clean the laminate, but couldn't get this layer of dirt off the floors. Bought this vac to try since we'd already tried everything else. Mixed the cleaner with a cap full of vinegar and tried an area. Couldn't believe the dirt I emptied out of the container after one pass. After this we decided to move all the furniture and do one whole room. Not only did it get all the dirt out of the distressed floors, it scrubbed the laminate back to looking new. We'll to say the least we ended up doing every room in the house because the dust had come up through all the vents. The heavy traffic areas we did twice and still were able to pull additional dirt off the floors. I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before buying and the main reason I decided on this one was because of the rotating brushes. They scrub the floors in both directions and suck up the water when pulling it back. I live this vac and have also used on my tile floors. It does not clean the grout, but I wouldn't expect it to, but does an amazing job on the tile. I will be making another quick pass to n all the floors again just to see how much additional dirt I can get off. Great purchase, don't be scared by the other reviews. This dust mop covers a much wider area than my previous O-Cedar dust mop. The bending feature is quite nice for my baseboards. However, there is much more dust in the air when using this dust mop which is not good for someone with allergies. Have bare floors throughout my entire home. It doesn't give you a opportunity to review the lift away anymore. Not sure why but I do want to say I had upgraded my steam mop and didn't realize what I was missing. I use the triangle piece to get in my bathtub so I can get it really clean. I had a very nasty roommate in my condo who had ruined my second bathroom bathtub I couldn't get the black stains off the bottom of the bathtub and I tried everything. So I thought what the heck and the little pieces would take too long. It made it beautifully white again and I thought I would have to replace it. To clean the pads so they come out white again I use spray and wash all over it and dawn (u have a HE washing machine) tide and cold water. They come out like new. I guess I have a little OCD especially since I let my neighbor borrow it and the big pad was black on both sides. I buy Shark on all my products except the blow dryer.
I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49
I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

I had seen this mop all over TikTok and wanted one for a while. I finally bought one for about $40, couldn't wait to use it and was immediately disappointed. The handle wouldn't stay locked, it kept telescoping which was very frustrating. The next thing I noticed was that when you push forward on the mop, it functions like a mop should. On the backwards motion, the plastic base of the mop that the mophead attaches to just scrapes along the floor. I don't think the fabric of the mop was even touching the floor at all, it almost flips upside down so that only plastic is dragging along the floor. I mopped about 1/8 of my apartment before I had to stop. I cant put myself or my downstairs neighbor through that every time I mop. Terrible, terrible product that was over advertised on TikTok. Luckily you can return within 90 days if you're not satisfied otherwise Id be out the $40 I spent plus the floor cleaner.Emma Haus
Purchased this mop after several people I know said how great it was. While I do like the actual mop head and the spin idea, the handle is garbage. The handle is telescoping for whatever reason and will not stay locked. It constantly comes unlocked while mopping even with essentially no force applied. I honestly don't know why they would design a telescopic handle for a mop I'm the first place, especially considering that even with it extended fully it's still pretty short. My guess would be that it's easier to box and put in shelves, but it also makes the product garbage. They should have went with a screw together design if that was their concern. Also the mop head just king of clicks into the handle. Had they designed it with a traditional screw handle like most mops and brooms have I could have easily just gotten another handle and screwed it onto the mop head. As I said I love the idea of the product and like the was it mops when it actually functions. At this point I'm not sure what options I have to make it work better but will most likely end up having to return it. It is extremely aggravating to be in the middle of mopping and have a handle constantly trying to push in.Justin
This mop bucket with spinner is so easy to put together and use. The instructions for expanding the handle was a sticker attached to the handle so you'll never lose it. The mop head snapped into the handle with no problems. I had my doubts about this product but I am glad that I made this purchase. I used this at a client home and wondered about the quality. The mop did exactly what it was supposed to do. I paired it with Mr. Clean multi surface cleaner. This product cleaned 3 years worth of ground in dirt from bathroom floor tiles. I haven't seen the floor this clean for 3 years. I was using swifter wet jet which didn't even last thru the warranty. I switched to swifter wet floor pads and that didn't clean the groves in the bathroom tiles either. This product does exactly what it says it would do, however, I would not use it on wooden parquet floor because even though you spin the water out of the mop head it is still a little too wet for a wooden floor. I was a little confused at first because it didn't come with instructions. I always read instructions to make sure I'm doing things right. I love this steam mop. It is super easy to use and saves so much time. I have 5 cats and a dog, my floors get gross quickly and are very difficult to keep clean. This mop takes all the effort out of scrubbing the floor. What use to take almost an hour takes about 15 mins. The cord is super long and the steam mop is very sturdy but not to heavy. With the spin setting it basically walks on the floor all by itself. This has made my floors look great andy life so much easier. This is my 4th of 5 big shark item and I seriously love them all. I was so excited to unbox the Shark S7201 Steam & Scrub with Steam that I received in exchange for my use and honest review. It came very securely packed and all items were in perfect condition. A handy instruction booklet was included. I was happy to discover how easy this product is to use – the pads connect very easily and the Steam & Scrub is so easy to operate – just the touch of a finger and the pads do all the work for you. There is a Steam Blaster mode that makes hard-to-scrub spills come right up. My favorite thing about this product is that I can feel good about not having to use harsh chemicals on my floors – with pets this is a real concern. I have owned a steam mop before but it just wasn't that great. It would move the dirt around. You really have to vacuum well before you use a steam mop because this does not actually pick up the loose dirt. It was easy to put together, however, when I was trying to turn it on the first time, it kept blinking. You need to pull back the handle for it to start. It uses distilled water to preserve the inside parts. The hot water will disinfect your floor but I also squirted a bit of cleaner on the floor after a pet accident. You should not add chemicals to the water reserve. Once turned on, it kind of moves itself around but it is not hard to pull back. I love that it has lights so you can see the dirt better. It has 4 pads, which I definitely need. I do pet sitting and my floors get filthy quickly so the added extra pads allow me to continue on instead of stopping to wash the pads. The water reserve is not large so you will have to add more water. I didn't see a notification light as to when the water is low, which would help. There may be one, but I didn't see it. This mop gets the job done quickly! And most importantly feels so nice on my feet after I am done. The rotating pads really do a good job. There is a steam button for heavily soiled spots. It did not get rid of some of the dried-up gook but I just took a sponge and scrubbed it a little. I like not having to use harmful chemicals to clean the floor and feel good using this around pets. The pads are easily washed in the washing machine and you can add bleach if they become stained. I have used this on both tile and laminate. I am extremely happy with this mop. After failing over and over to get my whole main floor clean (luxury vinyl) I bought the SpinWave. No more bucket and mop. No more rinsing and rinsing. No more slopping water or water an solution. And my husband seems to get some sort of satisfaction from running it! I find I need 4 sets of pads to change out when one set gets dirty – maybe this is because I finally found a method to clean the floor that works and I have lots of work to do. I didn't get the battery powered one because I thought it ran down too quickly. The cord is easy to deal with. I wish there was a docking station of some sort to rest the spin mop in – give it even more stability. I recommend removing the pads after mopping rather than having the unit sit on flooring with wet pads.
I usually use a spray mop but it wasn’t getting the stuck on food from the floor. I’ve tried many other mops and nothing worked. This Bissel eventually gets the stuck on food off- you just have to keep the spin mop over the food for about 60 seconds. It’s better than getting on your hands and knees to scrape off the food. I didn’t notice much of a difference between the regular mop pads and the scrub ones. It feels like you’re operating a professional floor cleaner. I used an all purpose cleaner rather than the Bissel solution. It works well without their solution. I like that the water canister comes off completely and can be cleaned. I’ve used a steam mop of theirs in the past and it would get moldy because the canister couldn’t be removed. I’ll still keep my spray mop for quick messes. The Bissel takes longer to clean the whole floor but does a deeper clean.Sarah B
I bought the corded Spinwave because I needed extended time to clean hardwood floors after removing carpet. It did a great job removing built up padding print on the hardwood floor with the scrub pads. Then after drying, I used the soft pads to apply another hardwood cleaner to help the floors shine. I had to wash the scrub pads frequently because they lifted so much dirt from the floor. I also used it on my hardwood and it really made them shine. Plan to use on a couple more projects with hardwood floors that need some help. Definitely liked using hot water with cleaner as directed and no battery to recharge. Worked smoothly unless pads got off center. Would definitely recommend!

I like and dislike this item. The quality can be much better for money you pay for it or you can add some money and get a good quality steam mop. This mop system feels a little cheap. The mop leaves my floors so wet and it takes about 20 minutes to let them dry with is not good if you have a some tipe of hardwood floor. It's pretty hard to change pads and mop is to small if I compare it with my old one. The mop makes some squeaky plastic sounds while you mop wich is a little annoying. I had seen this mop all over TikTok and wanted one for a while. I finally bought one for about $40, couldn't wait to use it and was immediately disappointed. The handle wouldn't stay locked, it kept telescoping which was very frustrating. The next thing I noticed was that when you push forward on the mop, it functions like a mop should. On the backwards motion, the plastic base of the mop that the mophead attaches to just scrapes along the floor. I don't think the fabric of the mop was even touching the floor at all, it almost flips upside down so that only plastic is dragging along the floor. I mopped about 1/8 of my apartment before I had to stop. I cant put myself or my downstairs neighbor through that every time I mop. Terrible, terrible product that was over advertised on TikTok. Luckily you can return within 90 days if you're not satisfied otherwise Id be out the $40 I spent plus the floor cleaner.Emma Haus
Purchased this mop after several people I know said how great it was. While I do like the actual mop head and the spin idea, the handle is garbage. The handle is telescoping for whatever reason and will not stay locked. It constantly comes unlocked while mopping even with essentially no force applied. I honestly don't know why they would design a telescopic handle for a mop I'm the first place, especially considering that even with it extended fully it's still pretty short. My guess would be that it's easier to box and put in shelves, but it also makes the product garbage. They should have went with a screw together design if that was their concern. Also the mop head just king of clicks into the handle. Had they designed it with a traditional screw handle like most mops and brooms have I could have easily just gotten another handle and screwed it onto the mop head. As I said I love the idea of the product and like the was it mops when it actually functions. At this point I'm not sure what options I have to make it work better but will most likely end up having to return it. It is extremely aggravating to be in the middle of mopping and have a handle constantly trying to push in.Justin
This mop bucket with spinner is so easy to put together and use. The instructions for expanding the handle was a sticker attached to the handle so you'll never lose it. The mop head snapped into the handle with no problems. I had my doubts about this product but I am glad that I made this purchase. I used this at a client home and wondered about the quality. The mop did exactly what it was supposed to do. I paired it with Mr. Clean multi surface cleaner. This product cleaned 3 years worth of ground in dirt from bathroom floor tiles. I haven't seen the floor this clean for 3 years. I was using swifter wet jet which didn't even last thru the warranty. I switched to swifter wet floor pads and that didn't clean the groves in the bathroom tiles either. This product does exactly what it says it would do, however, I would not use it on wooden parquet floor because even though you spin the water out of the mop head it is still a little too wet for a wooden floor. I usually read reviews before buying things, but I was in Canadian Tire and simply grabbed this, thinking RubberMaid does at least some basic QA of products. I was wrong. As many other reviews mention, the engineering and/or parts in this product are faulty. The spray mechanism broke after the 2nd use, and started leaking. After a while it was simply POURING out so I could not use it. As the spray is built into the mop, you cannot manually remove and spray the bottle either. The item is simply plastic waste, and a lot of it. I was hoping to use it for years. This item has not been removed or from Canadian Tire after a bunch of obviously bad reviews.Red Ranger
Over the last 4 years, I’ve have owned and used 3 Reveal Spray Mops. There are many reasons to love this mop. It is easy to use and light weight. The soft cloth microfiber pad is reusable, washable and does not leave streaks on laminate floors. The refill bottle is convenient to use with your own cleaning solutions, 2-3 tblsp. of a gentle cleaner (no ammonia) with water. With some design modifications, this spray mop would be super great (!). Yes, I would buy a fourth one if available, and be willing to pay more for improvements to the basic design. Problems I’ve encountered: the trigger mechanism in the handle stopped working on 2 of the mops. The warranty replaced these mops. One of the bottles wouldn’t disperse solutions and now a leaking bottle issue has begun on my 3rd mop leaving puddles on the floor. I’ve tried a popular competitor product and find it wanting. Their throw-away mopping pads leave streaks and I had to use 2 pads each time. Their priority solution/bottle doesn’t allow using your own cleaning solution and I think their cleaner is too harsh on my laminate flooring. And you have to use 4 batteries to squirt the solution on the floor. Because of these 3 points, it’s going to be more expensive to continue using. My conclusion, if Rubbermaid were to rethink their Reveal Spray Mop design a little bit, they would have a BIG winner. After maybe 25 uses, I discovered that the handle of the mop was slowly coming apart. I dismantled the handle, found out what the problem was (cracked plastic dowel) and fixed it with plastic glue and screws. Yesterday the handle broke again and this time I had to fix it with a wooden dowel, plastic glue and screws. My tendency in life is to fix things without having to throw away in the garbage all the time. The mop works fine now but why do you sell such cheaply made product? Rubbermaid could make it much more solid (use metal parts for assembling not plastic) and garantee it for 5 years at least and people would be happy to pay $10 more for a product that would be solid and reliable. I had ordered another mop sweeper before getting this one. The other one was terrible. I absolutely love this mop. I am very impressed with the way it cleans the floor. It does a nice job. It also doesn't leave the floor soaking wet. The floor dries very quickly. I really like the fact that you can fill the reservoir with your own cleaning agent. My biggest concern about this product is that the functionality of the mop is completely useless. The Velcro that is used to attach the mop heads to the device has ripped off after only a couple of months of light usage. I've tried super gluing the Velcro To no end and so every time I try to remove the mop pads I end up pulling the Velcro off with it….additionally because the product is not very weighted where the mop attaches to the device you get an uneven clean. there is more pressure on the center of the pad than there is on the edges so its kind of a light gloss over the floor… so you end up taking more time to get a more even clean. You can just tell when you remove the map pads that the the sides of the mop pad are never quite as dirty as the center is. I tried with bona I really did but I give up at this point time to upgrade to something better.Shay

I absolutely loved this floor cleaner. I have large dogs and LVP flooring so it gets dirty quickly. Having Rheumatoid Arthritis and back/neck problems, I dread mopping the floor with the basic mop. This made my life so much easier. I literally just used it yesterday with no problems and took off the pads to wash them. When I put it back on, one of the rotators wasn't working right. I unscrewed the rotator and saw that the plastic where the screw Is located is slightly brown. I tried to order a replacement part but the discs are listed as left or right. I have no idea which one is left and which one is right.

I’m not sure why there are so many complaints about this system. When you fill up the water reservoir, it does leak a tiny amount into the clean water holder but it’s a slow leak. Not much to fuss about because you’re putting water into that spot anyways. The handle extends and you turn it to tighten it so it won’t collapse on you. Could the handle be longer? Possibly. Does moping hurt your back regardless of which mop you use, yes and it’s just part of the game. When you pump the spinner, the system hardly moves unless you’re really slamming on it. The mop will scrape the ground if there isn’t any of the strings beneath it, which happens with other mops. No big deal just lift the mop up real fast and keep on moving. I felt the system was worth the money and everything about it is pretty self explanatory, nothing complicated to it. I had the old version of this system, and when I realized they had a new, improved version, I had to have it. Pros: -it has the clean water reservoir, so you're always mopping with clean water. -the spin function is much easier than previous model. -it has a mop holder built into the carrying handle so you don't have to leave it propped up against anything. -you can toss the mop head into the washing machine and reuse it. Cons: -the mop head isn't interchangable with the old system. -the mop head is much smaller than previous version. -it doesn't hold as much clean water as a regular mop bucket. Overall, I am pleased with this product. I had a bulk supply of mop heads from the previous version, and they're not interchangeable, so I was a little disappointed with that, but if I'm able to mop with clean water, and not dipping my mop back into dirty water, I can deal with the few disadvantages. I needed to do a deeper clean on my floors than my robot mop or my steam cleaner could do. Replacing the pads on those multiple times throughout cleaning wasn’t cutting it. My kids and large dog track a ton of dirt in the house. Even though I try to stop it at the door. I’m not sure why there are negative reviews stating that the handle is too short and the water gets dirty even in the clean compartment. I expect to have to put a bit of elbow grease into mopping with a stick…it doesn’t matter how tall the handle is, I’m going to be bent over trying to get a good scrub. And to put it in perspective, I’m 5’10” and it really wasn’t a problem for me. The clean vs dirty container was great. I can only imagine the negative reviews are either operator error or maybe a defective one. I only filled to the top of the donut shaped part in the clean water bin, mopped, spun it out and got more clean water to mop with. I would also get some clean water just to spin out a second time if I knew I was in a really high traffic dirty area. As you can see from my picture, it did a decent job of cleaning, and the bucket holds a lot of water. I was able to do most of my floors, probably 1000 sq ft before I had to add just a little extra to finish a small bathroom. Probably wouldn’t have had to add extra if I had done some plain rinses. I have two long haired cats. In my kitchen near the stove I had a lot grease buildup from cooking. This product took just minutes to put together. The water heats up even quicker and it really did the job. The steam loosens up the grease and the hair, and with one wipe it came off. It takes less than a minute to warm up. The heat is hot enough to melt away candle wax and nail polish on hardwood floors. It is a little hard, however, to clean vehicle seats with but that's what a detailer is used for! I recommend it. I use it for my tub, my floors and my rugs. Most of my house is slate/tile and I have a dog. I have used erase type products on kitchen/bath but never on floor. It leaves the floor really clean. In kitchen I add little vinegar to hot water. I have a rectangle plastic container with hot water that I clean out mop in. I have a replacement top waiting in cupboard. However mop is wearing well. Don't let naysayers get you down. This is a great product and time saver. My dog was allergic to chemicals in wet jet swifter stuff. Yucky.Nana diane
