I LOVE rosehip oil!!! It has tons of various benefits, but the biggest one that I’ve noticed is that is leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft, supple, and hydrated. I’m talking baby smooth. When I apply it I do my skin routine in the following order: cleanser, exfoliator, toner, hyaluronic acid, water-based eye cream, water-based face moisturizer, jojoba oil, and then rosehip oil to top it off. I dont do this full routine every single day. Just when I want to pamper myself a little extra. Everyone’s skin is different, so just experiment with the amount of steps that works for your specific skin. I apply the water-based moisturizers first because water molecules are smaller than oil molecules and will only sit on top of your oils if put in last. When applied first with your oils patted on top, both products will do their job and the oils will act as a protective barrier to lock in the moisture. Since I have started using rosehip oil, I have noticed my skin look brighter, my hyperpigmentation has decreased, and my skin texture has improved. I swear by this product. I was looking to find rosehip seed oil that was all natural and USDA approved and after reading great reviews I decided to buy this. I use mine every morning I apply underneath my eyes before I put on eye cream. I feel like it helps to really sink in and keep the area moisturized. It seems to make my eye creams absorb better too. This is another essential Pai product. This oil is moisturizing without being overly heavy on the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves a beautiful glow on my skin. I mix two drops in with my moisturizer and that is all that is needed. A little certainly goes a long way with this gem. This works. It is clearing up some stubborn clogged pores (seems to “push out” congested areas). This w my new electric pore cleaning tool has DEFINITELY minimized my pores. However, as others stated, it’s not the best natural fragrance. I’m happy they didn’t add synthetic fragrance to mask it though. I have tried teaming it w sandalwood…it does not work. I have dehydrated skin so I bought this oil because I thought it would be great to retain moisture at night. The smell is standard for a rosehip oil so nothing to complain there. Upon application my skin felt great, but after barely 20 minutes the areas beneath my eyes and cheeks felt tight even though there was toner, serum, moisturiser and the oil piled on top. I used this for 2 nights and it got to the point where I woke up with my skin tight and uncomfortable. I know it wasn't any other products in my routine as I have been using them for years. This is the first product I tried from this line, and I was amazed at the results. I honestly wish I had taken before and after pics. My skin is so much smoother, my fine and deep lines have reduced significantly. I have one deep crease in-between my eyebrows closer to my right eyebrow that I hate, and some finer forehead lines, and ever since I’ve been using this I can’t believe how much smoother that deep crease is, I barely notice it anymore. This company is excellent at sending samples, conveniently it’s stuff I was thinking of getting next LOL like the eye cream (game changer!) and then the resurfacing mask (skin is SO smooth and bright after using it), and the lip balm is absolutely wonderful too, and many other samples, but it’s because of those samples that I fell in love with the other products too and bought them in fullsize. I’ve gone through three bottles of this already and I’m obsessed! It’s a bit pricey, but it works wonders on my dry, sensitive blemish-prone skin so I’m willing to splurge. I notice it hydrates my skin and melts in beautifully, so I don’t look oily, just dewy. The light rose scent is beautiful and not too overpowering or synthetic smelling. Anyone wanting to add Vitamin C to their routine should for sure try this in the mini or full size, because it’s helped me with texture and evened out my skin tone. I really wanted to try this product when I read reviews, I found this facial oil to apply very nicely on my skin, however in terms of the claims I do not find that it completely brightens the skin to such an extent. It does help with texture and smoothness. I just enjoy the feel, and how it sits on my skin. The smell is subtle and enjoyable. Nothing too extreme if you are worried. It has a light rose scent which I find therapeutic. I would not recommend that you need to spend $ 95.00 Cad, on it. It's not a miraculous product, that you need to own. Let me first say that your formulation is amazing and I always notice a difference in my skin when using the product. It would be a game changer if not for the lack of product given the high price tag. Mine only lasts about a month and that is with ONLY using at night. It is unfortunate that if you want good quality, natural, non-toxic, organic ingredients (of any field; food, skin care, etc) you have to pay a small fortune. What I would love to see is a place that can make these kinds of quality products for that are affordable to everyone. Not just those that make a ton of money. If I want to buy the whole loot that I’d need from AMG (face wash, toner, serum, face oil, eye cream, masks, etc) I’d be spending well over $300/month as the majority of these products only last about a month. I don’t know who can afford that but on a school counselor salary where I make about $30k less than other people with master’s degrees, there is no way I can afford this every month. I truly wish AMG could change the game and either offer more product for the price so that it can last 3-6 months or drastically lower the cost of the small bottles. I’d love to keep purchasing these products as they truly are an amazing product but I simply cannot afford it. If this changed and you either offered more product at the current price point to last up to 6 months or drastically lowered the price for these current smaller bottles, I’d be a life-long customer. This is easily the top facial moisturizer I have ever used! The ingredients make sense for an anti-aging product, and the scent is so beautiful and natural/earthy! It is a calming and peaceful scent. The way this oil feels like liquid velvet as you apply it, you can tell it is nourishing the skin as my face just drinks it up and leaves a healthy dewy glow. Usually I have to apply moisturizers twice a day to avoid dry areas, but this one keeps me hydrated and supple all day… it's truly wonderful. After 3 weeks, I notice my lines aren't as deep. This is without a doubt one of my skincare must haves and I've been using it for years, usually in my evening routine. Despite the fact that my skin is on the oiler side I've found that using good quality oils in my skincare actually really helps. I have had dry combo skin where it۪s a little oily in my t-zone & extremely dry everywhere else. I have really bad thyroid which dries out my skin very much. This works well enough as a hair oil for me, but doesn't feel like anything special in that regard. Moringa has its own unique "green" smell and it does come across mildly in the oil, but I don't find it offensive (some might). It doesn't seem to work well on my face–just makes me unnecessarily greasy and my pores seem to get congested… but that said, I do have super oily skin to begin with, so that doesn't surprise me. It might be okay for dryer skin. To me, it doesn't feel like it absorbs that well–even on my hands for example, but again, maybe it's just my skin. For me, the oil takes too much time to seep into your skin, which is why I prefer to only use it during my nighttime skin care routine. However, when I wake up, the my face is still glowing and I love how soft my skin has become. This is my first time trying a face oil and I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm 44 with combination skin. I was a little worried that I would break out but so far I haven't. I've never used a facial oil before, so I was unsure of what to expect but I've been won over! I've applied 2 drops of this after my face washing and toning routine in the morning and it's made my skin look really radiant. I'm not sure if it's correct, but I now use this instead of my moisturiser if I know I've not got much of a long day outside. It drys incredibly fast so it's more of an extra toner instead of an oil, but as someone who can be prone to oily skin, that's ideal. Sometimes I need more than 2 drops because of this though. I have slightly uneven skin as I've worked in the sun for years and maybe genetically as well. I've had good luck with vitamin-c based products from other brands, but they are very expensive products and that's not something that I can maintain. This oil from Botanics is at a great price-point for how well it works. To be clear, this does not claim to contain vitamin-c, but it instead states that it contains natural AHA's. This is also convenient because vitamin-c products can interact with a lot of other facial product ingredients. I found my skin tone to be more even after just a week and am excited to see what long-term use could do. Unlike some AHA's, this is gentle enough to use daily – I have worked it into my morning routine. Don't forget the sun protection if you use this product in the morning (it can make skin light-sensitive). You get a nice "glowy" look as well, which is an added bonus. But, even with the glow and this being an oil, it doesn't exactly feel oily. It is very light. I have combination skin (oily t-zone) and used it sparingly in my problem areas. It worked pretty well to keep my skin hydrated without making it more oily. The smell is also pleasing as I'm a sucker for anything citrusy. I'm a facial serum and oil junkie ever since realizing they were what worked best with my sensitive combination skin. I've tried many over the years and definitely have my favorites and formulas that I prefer over others. This facial oil is a kind of hybrid of an oil and serum to me. The scent is lovely, the bottle also. Make sure to mix/shake thoroughly before using as the separation is heavy. I've seen other reviews complain that it's watery, I really don't feel that it was watery just maybe a bit thinner. Watery is a hyaluronic acid based serum, this is not that and I had no problems applying from palm to my face. I did need more than 2 drops it calls for, I used 6 and it seemed perfect for my skin. Once spreading on my face it soaked in throughly in about 15 minutes which was perfect for plopping my hair and getting dressed. I had no issues applying CC cream or foundation over and also did a few days with no makeup (lockdown life). I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to share this because I found another use for this that has results so far above what I expected from a complete experiment. The oils for hair out there are either heavy or have fragrance, which I'm extremely sensitive too. I had a large bottle of this squalane oil for use on my face and body, but decided, what the heck, why not see how it works. I can't believe it. I have long hair that is dyed, and I want to keep it long. Anyone who has been in that position knows the lower half can start to get dried out …. it's hard to hold onto length as you age. But then I tried this, lightly coating my hands and smoothing over the lower portion, from about to my ears down to the ends on wet, just-shampooed hair, and then a light swipe with my hands with the residual oil on the top to help with flyaways. Then I briefly blow dry to seal the hair cuticle. I don't need the comments of people (but it has been nice) to know the nourished, healthy look my hair now has. With no effect on the color at all. I’m a PA who works in dermatology, I do a lot of skin treatments and this oil has been the perfect thing to pair. Smells really good and it feels nice and soothing on my skin but it isn't moisturizing enough for me unfortunately. It quickly absorbs and I feel like I have to reapply several times a day. This oil weirdly is very light weight, I wasnt expecting it to be this way and I do use a heavy cream before the oil as well as toner and a serum. My skin is combination but mainly dry so I don't think its the right product for me. I'm going to try phoenix next since its for dry skin. If you tend to have more oily skin then this would work great because its not heavy and its light weight enough for that skin type. I love this oil. It's crazy how a lot of times we go for more expensive brands, overlooking the more affordable/ store bought ones like this one. It is a really good and inexpensive oil. I use it for my hair, nails, skin – I mix it in with my body lotion for more shine and moisture, I apply it to my face after an intense exfoliating routine. If you haven't tried the Hyaluronic Acid Serum from this brand too, you should. I apply the vit e oil to my face after the serum and my skin is baby smooth, healthy and glowing (without being oily).
