First let me say that I’ve been using Foxbrims Argan oil for years. Before that time I tried several other brands. I find that Foxbrim’s is lighter and soaks in my skin my quicker. It also does not have that rancid smell that other brands have. The price is phenomenal for the quality. I use it for many purposes including taking off eye makeup and hard to remove mascara. Argan Oil is a moisturizing aromatic carrier oil. It has a pleasant smell and can be combined with essential oils that would cause discomfort when used on their own. On the front of the bottle is states this is a certified organic product that is unrefined, cold pressed, and ******. That means it is not processed and is as pure as possible. The ingredient list is only one ingredient long: “100% Pure Certified Organic Argan Oil”. The bottle arrived packaged well. The bottle is dark brown. Brown bottles are used with oils to preserve their potency as most oils can have their effectiveness decreased when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. The cap of the bottle is a medium-sized dropper that reaches into the bottom of the bottle. It is a glass dropper that functioned well when I tested it. On the bottom of the bottle is a white label that states an expiration date of December 2018 (about two years). Foxbrim distributes from Lake Alfred Florida and this particular oil was sourced from Morocco and bottled in the US. The bottle states this product was not tested on animals. The bottle carries the USDA Organic certified seal as well as the ECO CERT. Argan oil is used mostly for skin, hair, face, and nails and the bottle has suggested use for each of these categories. I'm really loving Argan Oil these days, and Foxbrim has offered an excellent product. I'm a bit of an oils geek, and am actually comparing four different brands of Argan. I love that Foxbrim is a pure oil, unadulterated and undiluted. It is ****** oil, which means this is from the first or second pressing, and of high quality. Foxbrim oil is also Organic, because if there are toxins and pesticides on your plant, they're in your oil, and no one wants to put pesticide on their face, right? (OK, someone out there probably does. I'm not that someone.) Scent: This is the lightest of the four oils when it comes to scent. I find that consistent with this brand as I test various oils. It does not seem to indicate anything in relation to the use of the oil, however. The oil has a scent I call "sweet and earthy, like fresh beets". Now, while I do enjoy beets, I don't prefer them as a perfume. So I love that this has a light scent which evaporates quickly as the product is absorbed. Straight-Up: I use this oil straight-up on my own face. It absorbs easily, is considered one of the least likely oils of any to clog pores, and is actually used to help treat acne problems due to oily skin. Personally, I put about 6 drops in my hand, rub my palms together, and smooth over my face, giving myself a mini-massage as I do. I switch between this and my blended moisturizer, depending on my needs and the weather. Blending: If you like to make your own lotions, moisturizers, and lip balms, you should have this in your "potions cabinet". I like to use 1/4 cup coconut oil, two Tablespoons Argan oil, 1/2 teaspoon beeswax, and four drops of the essential oils you most need (I like carrot seed and frankincense, but you can change it up, or even leave it out!). Whip the coconut oil, add the argan and beeswax, and whip again to combine. Viola! This brand of Argan blended nicely, and made a great cream. I have purchased other Foxbrim products, and haven't been disappointed yet! I'm thrilled to have this in my arsenal of oils. I've been struggling for almost 10 years because thanks to relaxers and certain medications, I ended up losing the majority of my hair. My hair ended up growing back, thankfully, but my scalp was ALWAYS itchy so the hair on the top of my head never grew back right. After countless dermatologist and doctors apps and several prescription shampoos, my hair was still itchy immediately after washing unless I literally didn't use conditioner or any other product. Since I couldn't stop scratching, I couldn't get my hair to grow back. I tried using some shampoos I found elsewhere, but once again, my scalp was itchy as soon as I put product in my hair. I didn't notice until just now but I've been using this product for about 2 weeks and I have NOT scratched my scalp. There's no more itch! The first week I used this product, I went a week without shampooing again before my scalp got itchy. I was finally able to just wear my hair in a bun for a few days without having to wash every morning. Hopefully my hair can grow back now that the itching is gone, but that's a story for another day. I have had issues with dry/itchy/flakey scalp for a while. I've tried other shampoos and conditioners but nothing really worked for me. This made a huge difference after the first use and after the second time using it my flakes were completely gone! I use it once a week by applying it directly to my scalp and wrapping my head in a hot towel for about 15-20 mins. I do have to shampoo twice afterwards due to the oil. It also isn't a permanent solution, I skipped a week and my itchiness and flakes did start to come back. But I love this stuff. Ordering more bottles now!
I just finished my first bottle, and bought a second, so I think it’s time I write this review. I have type 2C hair that I wash about twice a week, and this works really well for me. Keeps my dandruff under control, removes product and oil buildup without stripping my hair, and lasts me about 3 months. It’s only pitfall is that, because of how minty it is, I have to keep my eyes closed while using it Or Else. I would like to note that this mint is more of a toothpaste mint rather than an herbal-aromatherapy mint, which might be a turn off for you. Personally, I don’t mind, as all traces of the smell seem to wash down the drain. Easily the best dandruff shampoo I’ve tried since going natural.

I originally got this because I read about how castor oil makes your hair grow faster. I don't think it's made any difference in my hair growth, but it sure does make it soft and shiny! The first time I used it I didn't dilute it with another oil and ended up ripping a bunch of hair out because it's so thick. Learn from my mistake! Mix it with some olive oil and apply, cover, and leave it in overnight. Wash it out the next morning and be amazed by your silky hair! Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). So, needs a little bit more accuracy in the product labelling: Made from 100% pure peppermint oil, but not 100% in the bottle.Alan
It smells lovely and I hope that it improves hair growth, but it makes hair very oily and look heavy and greasy, so I suggest keeping it in overnight and wearing a cap to not stain the pillow then showering it out, or using it as a leave-in treatment for a few hours before washing hair before bed. I have always been in oily hair oily skinned person and I always straight away from using oils. But over the last two years I’ve learned how much I actually need them. My hair started thinning a few months back in as somebody who has always had very long hair, past my back. It was hard for me and my insecurities start growing from this issue. I am very sensitive to fragrances so I try to buy products that either use no fragrances at all or all natural ingredients. To me, this oil has too strong of a fragrance for an everyday or all day use for me. Furthermore, i have a lot of hair but it is very thin so really even a little bit of this product makes my hair look wet and oily. I did find a use for this product though. I use this as a full scalp/hair oil which I put on about an hour before I'm going to shower – then wash out completely and style normally. I probably wouldn't buy this again for the fragrance alone. I have really been enjoying this hair oil! The packaging is so beautiful, the component is weighty and feels luxe, and the oil itself is a bright yellow, which looks so cool. I apply to wet hair and work it into the end of my hair. Honestly, I can't get over how smooth and soft this makes my hair look and feel! I'm so I pressed! I docked 1 star because the scent has a subtle undertone I don't really like, almost like pine nuts or peppercorn, idk, but it's not over powering. I also found the oil to be very runny. I got this as a sample when ordering the shampoo and conditioner and totally surprised me. My hair is mostly straight but does have a little wave to it and can get a little puffy/frizzy in the humidity of the summer. I recently dyed my hair blue, which hair made my hair really dry and at the advise of a friend who uses this product, she said this would help moisturize and make my hair shinny. I have long curly hair that can be dry and always has some frizzy. I am also sensitive to fragrance in most products. I have tried a-lot of different product similar to this and found they made my hair feel greasy and/or because of the fragrance i would have a reaction. I am also not a fan when the product feel like it builds up after one use and than the next day i have to rewash my hair. I hope that last sentence makes sense. This product is great! I had to write a review for this oil because I have never experienced anything quite like it. This company, khadi uses incredible ingredients that are super clean and because I am very particular about what I put on my body I decided to try this hair oil. I was shocked by not only the way it smelled so good but the way my hair has reacted to this oil. I have very fine hair and also greying at the roots. I am suprised this product wasn't even listed here. I had read reviews on this product and they were all positive, so I decided to go out and buy it because the oil I was using left my hair a bit heavy and it wasn't that great. Upon acquiring this product I had really high expectations. I must say, the first couple of times I was unimpressed, in fact, I was quite disappointed. But it turns out my hair does not absorb this well when wet or damp. Ever since I started applying this on towel dried hair, my hair has been AMAZING! This product works well to tame my frizzy, dry hair. I use three pumps when my hair is wet and one when it is dry. It goes on light and has a faint pleasant smell. I thoroughly enjoy this oil, it’s really lightweight for an Argan oil so it doesn’t weigh down my finer hair at all even when I apply this to dry hair in between washes. I really like the smell of this product too and find that it really lasts in my hair as well. My only issue with this oil is that it has silicones in, which after doing some research I’ve now swapped to a silicone-free alternative since this seems to be better for my hair – but I’d recommend looking into this yourself. This product did come oily BUT after further inspection, the two bottles I received were not damaged or opened so I'm assuming it was from another at the factory or something? Anyways, mine were completely sealed, I just wiped them off with a towel and they're fine. I love how vitamin E makes my skin feel! I’ve been using this oil on my dry frizzy hair for a few weeks I’m not a fan. It’s very thick so I thought it would add moisture to my hair but it doesn’t. It doesn’t smooth the frizz. This is a very basic product and can ve gotten very cheap at many Asian/Indian shop. Gooseberry oil is great for your hair and scalp, and for the 3-4 dollars you pay it is well worth a go. I have noticed it helps against hair fall and because it's meant to be massaged into the scalp and worked into the ends, it going to be good regardless. Scalp stimulation promotes not only hairgrowth, but it also helps against dandruff. Again: for the cost it's definitely worth a try. I've been trying a more holistic approach on growing my hair. I used to use almond oil in my hair when I was in high school. And that was when my curls were the thickest and strongest. I tried it again and I use it on my oil days. Because my hair gets super dry. I like taking it and rubbing it into my scalp and leaving it in while my hair is still wet so if it feels like my scalp is absorbing this oil. This stuff is pure MAGIC! You only need a tiny spritz on the roots. This product is tricky, here is how I recommend using it. On clean wet hair, spray in your leave in conditioner/ moisturizing products first, then rough Blowdry your hair to about 60% dry, then as you Blowdry your hair, use this product on your roots section by section at the root. A little goes a long way so you don’t need to spray it all over, one spray at the root is enough per section to give you volume and hold that will last for days. If you spray too much, your hair will be hard to manage and hard to put a brush through so just a small spritz is enough! This product Can last you forever!!!! Many good things to say about this awesome oil also a little downside. The oil is super thick and sticky. U might want to mix it with other essential oils like lavender or peppermint for hair growth. It makes the scent better as well. I had thinning hair and now it’s very thick n healthy. The bottle could have been better as oil would sip out n make the whole bottle sticky. Had a problem of hair falling out. Thanks to this product new baby hair are growing. As I hate this structure because is very thick and sticky. I took a coconut oil and shea butter, heated it up and made a mixture together with black castor oil. I apply it once a week before going to bed, massage into scalp and then I put the shower cap on the hair. Leave overnight. When wake up, wash it properly! And hair feels nice and fresh and new!
