My daughter has celiac disease and has missed pizza for 6 years. The gluten-free choices on the market, to us, taste awful – no flavour and 'powdery'. Yes, it doesn't make a huge pizza (although I think it makes 2 decent sized ones). Obviously, if you're allergic to nuts, it won't work. And it's not a 'standard' pizza dough flavour. So I had this box of Simple Mills Almond Flour pizza dough around and was not afraid to use it! I have family members who can't eat gluten. I'm starting to like some types of gluten free foods myself. This dough was not too bad to handle. It needs no rising time. I have not made many pizza doughs before myself, but after using this one I want to make many more and from this brand! The crust is so good, it actually has some crunch to it. It's not like regular flour dough, it's somewhat nutty and yet easy on my teeth when chewing. I made two smaller pizzas as directed instead of one big one, and the serving size is about one of the small ones per person on average. Very filling and the toppings you put on it to your satisfaction will also be a benefit in using this dough of course, so make it with all your favorite toppings. It is delicious! I truly plan to buy more when I can, it is so fresh and tasty. No eggs needed or dairy. You only need oil, water and apple cider vinegar to add to the flour. How much more easier could that be? I really like these turkey pepperonis. They have an excellent flavor. I use them all the time in recipes and on pizza. We actually like these better than the regular pepperonis. They are less greasy. Actually there is no grease at all. They have less fat and have a really good taste. No, it does not taste like regular pepperoni but to me it has a better flavor. These are also fully cooked so you can eat straight out of the bag as well. I have done this as well as using these to make my own lunchable type meals. Just put on cracker and add some cheese. I will continue to eat these in the future. And have recommended to others as well. I have also kept in the refrigerator for over a week after opening with no problems. In this day nobody can afford to waste food. We usually make pizza on the weekends and use half the bag when we open and the rest of the bag the next weekend. As the title states, my kids love it! I started buying the pizza sauce years ago, and it's the only pizza sauce I'll buy for my family. The wife loves it, the kids love it. It's great. Even the cat likes it when we have a tiny bit of leftovers. The taste is great and I love the consistency. We have lots of cans at home, and I don't think we've ever run out. This is great because we eat it just about every night. And every day. I never get tired of it. We even turned off the water to the house because honestly, why would you want water when you can drink Chef Boyardee's pizza sauce? Sometimes the kids say "Dad, we want something else." and I simply say "NO. DRINK YOUR PIZZA SAUCE." and eventually they do. I caught my wife sneaking in a soda the other night, so I had to clean the whole kitchen and polish every can we had. The only downside is that it cannot sustain a cat for an extended amount of time. He walks funny now, so I'm gonna have to remove one star. On second thought, maybe that's just his happy dance, so I'll add the star back. Sorry, I doubted you. Anyway, the value is great and I like that I can buy it in bulk. It works in multiple situations too! We wanted to paint one of the walls in our house and since the paint was out of the question, we just cracked open a can of pizza sauce and smeared it on the wall. I like it, and it makes the room smell nice. Same with the car, we had to wash the windows. I didn't feel like driving to go get some window cleaner, so I just used the pizza sauce. I threw out the mattress, the pizza sauce cans feel better. The wife disagrees, but she'll get over it. Anyway, I'm rambling. I like the pizza sauce, don't ever stop selling it!!!

Was a great product before you removed the cheese, and no, it was never a 'garnish'. I have made these since the early 1980s and maybe even into the 1970s. When you changed the sauce, it went downhill a bit. I was able to add spices to improve it enough to continue to purchase. After you removed the cheese, I threw the pizza and 2 additional boxes away and stopped buying them. The cost and quality of the dough and sauce does not match the quality of the cheese I now must purchase. I will buy better quality ingredients if I am also buying the cheese. No real reason to buy it, though, as it is approaching what a restaurant pizza would cost anyway once I include the price of the cheese. The original idea of this is that it is a kit. Without the cheese, it is just so so dough and poor tasting sauce.RandyB
Kroger, Randall’s and HEB are all completely out of the mixes right now so I was researching what’s going on and came across MULTIPLE reviews concerned about the absence of the cheese packet, with many comments also about a change in the sauce. As best I can recall, there also used to be cheese in the sauce so that seems to be what everyone making sauce comments is missing, without realizing it. Most of the reviewers are begging for a childhood staple to be restored. I believe to make this right you would have to resume offering a cheese pizza kit which has sauce with cheese AND the extra cheese packet. I hope your marketing folks will realize there is room for both types-the ones with cheese and the one without. I am sure you did this for a combination of “healthy” and cost reasons, but can we please have the original version back? I saw the cans of sauce with cheese on the Walmart website so I do plan to try to get some of that, and I just made my first ever home made pizza crust tonight, but I sure would prefer the convenience of yours! This has been a favorite for many, many years with great memories. Missed the cheese packet first and now very disappointed that the pepperoni has changed. Complete change in taste. The cheese didn’t disappoint as much since I could just buy my own Parmesan cheese, as I assumed it was removed due to cost. Unfortunately you cannot buy the little round pepperoni. The little round pepperoni was awesome. The taste just isn’t the same and the nostalgia is gone. I have one more box in my pantry with the new pepperoni, not sure if I’ll fix it or not. This is GREAT!I am always making pizzas for at least 8 people and this just made the whole operation run smoothly. So much less messy than endless bowls and packets, any leftovers just go in the fridge with their lid on. If you are more organised than I am (not hard!) you would even have put everything in before everyone arrived and stored them in the fridge. The Best part was when my husband who had absolutely made fun of me for buying a pointless product actually admitted it had made the pizza prep easier and a lot less messy. Definitely treat yourself – it makes your prep so much easier
Con – wish it had a solid base so you could put ice in it to keep your ingredients at the safe temp. While it's not cheap, it's not exactly expensive either. The local small restruant supply shop has plastic Cembro food pans and lids. And if I bought 5 with lids like here it wouldn't be much cheaper. And I'd get no holder, and they're plastic not metal. Oh, and the lids on those don't have rubber seals. This looks nice, and keeps my mess down. My old method was whatever random plastic containers I could find. And it fits perfectly on my large Ooni prep table, I did buy 2 additional medium sized pans, and plan to get 1 more large one. IMHO this is probably the most useful accessory you don't need. While it's not cheap, it's typical good Ooni quality and should last a long time.
At first I wasn't sure if this was just some generic piece of equipment that OONI threw their name on but I ordered it anyway and it is FANTASTIC. Beautiful, super functional and plenty of storage space for ingredients, each in it's own individual container. Prepping everything ahead of time and storing each container in the fridge with the sealable lid is a dream and means no more random assortment of containers carried outside for a pizza party. It's not just the OONI name thrown on something generic, this is a thoughtful, well-constructed and incredibly useful piece of kit that makes the OONI pizza experience not only more enjoyable but much easier. We buy these a lot because even if you just use the crust it’s still a good value. We buy a cheap value brand of sauce to use with them because the sauce that comes with it is way too sweet.
