I have had this for over 12 months now and still works brilliantly! I upgraded from a Dyson v6 and the quality of the Miele absolutely outshines the flimsy Dyson! Even using newer Dyson models since the upgrade I feel confident that I made the right choice! I love that when the motor is in the bottom position it is able to stand on its own. No need to lean against the wall or bench, being how I often dropped the Dyson! It is also so easy to move around, other people complain that it’s heavy, but with the motor near the head it is much lighter and incredibly easy to manoeuvre. The design of the head gives it stability and direction, using a Dyson the head often flips around, but the Miele is much like using a standard vacuum, minus the bloody cord! Even with the motor at the bottom I can still get under the bed. It’s just a fabulous machine! My partner is even thrilled with it and often recommends it to people. Great suction, run time and functionality. No complaints from me, and will replace with the same or newer model when the time comes.Rachel23
Purchased this at local Best Buy on sale. It's certainly heavier than the average stick vacuum however, there are options as to how you can set it up: motor on the top or bottom. When the motor is on the bottom, the weight is less of a problem and in this setting, the vacuum can stand upright on its own. I've read reviews that it is loud however, I don't personally find that to be the case. The dirt this picks up is quite impressive. I have a Dyson stick and it doesn't compare to the Meile. I vacuumed carpets with the Dyson first, then again with the Meile. The Meile canister was almost full in 5 minutes. It picks up dirt and dust not visible to the naked eye and missed by the Dyson. Battery power is decent and based on professional reviews, the best on the market. On the lowest setting, Meile says you'll get 60 minutes. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge an empty battery. The dust canister is smallish, but I don't find this an issue as Melie uses a vortex to compact the dirt and dust. It is expensive but Melie says with good care, it'll last 20 years and it's made in Germany. So, you get what you pay for. I have a Meile canister vacuum and I fully believe this vacuum picks up more dirt than the canister. It's also very easy to reconfigure the vacuum to how you wish to use it. PROS: I haven't seen a vacuum clean up hidden debris this well since my mother's Swedish canister vacuum of the 1960s, which my little brother used to gleefully ride (a no-no). I'm done buying other stick vacuums that cost $150, last only 12-18 months, and do poorly in the last few months. I'm done feeling grit under my feet even after a vacuuming. This Miele stick vacuum is effectively removing the fine dust that has accumulated in the grooves of my hardwood floors. It has cleaned my wool area rugs so well that the beautiful patterns and colors are now restored. The attached picture shows the fine dirt and residual hair (yes I have a dog) the Miele found less than 24 hours after the last vacuuming by the $150 stick. I love the quietness of the Miele as I am noise-sensitive and this doesn't whine like others. I love that this Miele does not make me tired and sore after a short vacuuming (1150 sf of hardwood, ceramic tile, and smaller area rugs). I have the canister on the lower portion and it creates little to no strain on my lower back or my shoulders ( I am tall and not 20 anymore). It has a low enough profile to get under a good portion of my sofas, beds, and other furniture. This Miele stick vacuum is easy to maneuver, even with my non-dominant hand. CONS: As many others have noted, it's a bugger to empty the basket. I have a little knowledge of the German language, but I doubt it would help, so I reserve my German for a few cuss words. Both of us have read the instructions multiple times, looked carefully at the back of the book diagrams repeatedly and we literally practiced together 4-5 times each on emptying and reassembling the basket and accompanying parts. He remains a bit wary as he doesn't want to man-handle and accidentally break it. It takes practice and lots of patience, steady but sure, to become comfortable with this process. But it is well worth the effort because this Miele stick vacuum is exceptionally good at clean-up. The only other CON is the price. Using my store coupon, I was able to save $100. If this Miele continues to perform well 3 years from now, I will at least break even in cost when compared to my previously purchased $150 sticks, and the cleaning results will be superior if current performance continues. I bought this vacuum cleaner three years ago. It has very good sucking power; however, it is very heavy to lift to get it off the hard wood floors onto the rugs. It doesn't just glide on to the rugs–you have to physically lift it. Last month when I was lifting it, the handle cracked in half. Review of 7000 model. Pros: Well packaged upon delivery. As other reviewers have stated, the build quality is better than the brands you would find at big box stores. The carrying handle is convenient. Lots of innovative functional design with the attachments. Cons: The instruction manual is poor – for example does not explain how to adjust the rotating brush attachment, or the wand extension. The attachments from my old Kenmore upright do not fit on the Prolux tube or wand. There are 3 consumable components (dust bag, HEPA filter, exhaust filter). The HEPA filter costs $35 to replace. It is washable, but not clear how often I will need to wash or replace. Moreover, the dust bags are poor quality – dust passes right through the bag into the bag compartment. The dust bags provided with the 7000 are apparently not the micro filtration type found on many other vacuum cleaners. See attached photo of accumulated dust on inside of compartment cover after vacuuming 1 room with brand new unit – VERY disappointed with this. (Yes, I double checked to ensure the bag on new 7000 was properly attached, no holes in bag, etc.) Even my 35 year old Kenmore upright doesn't have this issue because it uses micro filtration bags. As a result, I will need to clean/replace the HEPA filter, and clean the inside of the bag compartment periodically. All of this translates to high maintenance cost (time and $) for this vacuum. Overall, I give the 7000 a 3-star rating, considering it costs much more than cheaper vacuums that do a better job of containing the dust in the dust bag.Randy

I love it the vacuum cleaner while it's new to me company. while I sold the Kirby vacuum after I upgrade on this seen pretty good. Kirby vacuum is good but lots go work have to keep polish keep brand new etc.. I had for Kirby for 20 years whole my life. it not too loud and very quite. I have a 10 qt proteam and this has the same power but is lighter weight and the backpack straps are cushioned and a built in swivel that make movement in tight places easier it also has 3 clamps that secure the top that function better than the screw on top and air intake is on the back not on the bottom which is cooler for longer use and if you need to remove the unit and use it in crawl spaces you don’t have to lay it on its side for air intake. For more efficient use purchase a second wand to make faster use switching between floor and carpet heads.g.
It’s very annoying to use, especially when you’re trying to figure out how to get the pieces to stay put on the hose. It’s definitely not the simplest thing to use and if it’s just being used for house cleaning it can be so large on your back that you end up knocking things on the wall and the hose will leave black marks if you do rub it against the wall. That being said the aluminum post that everything hooks onto is very lightweight and it does make it a lot easier to vacuum large areas The metal hose falls out of the plastic hose all the time so I’m constantly having to grip them together while I work. My hand and forearm ache constantly from using those I’m always wishing I had bought a different vacuum. The filters on back fall out 1 or 2 times while vacuuming so I have to stop and take everything off to put them back in. Then I have to put it back on and secure the belts again. For a heavy thing to keep lugging around it is incredibly annoyingH.

I've used the vacuum twice, on the floor and carpet. It has great suction, and comfortable to use. I have used industrial back pack vacuums in my job as grade school custodian, this vacuum is comparable. I think it should have a chest strap, so the weight of the vacuum isn't hanging off the shoulders, this might become a strain if you need to use for s long period of time. Purchased this product to make life easier in cleaning our 23 animal mounts hanging in the living rm. I used to lug a push around vac up a ladder and use that , not easy. Also great for cleaning 24 ft stone fireplace which likes to collect dust. Works great on hard floors to pick up the dog hair, not blow it around like the push kind. A little backstory before I explain why the Prolux 2.0 Pro is the best vacuum I have ever used. I clean homes for a living and use a vacuum everyday at multiple locations. I started with a Dyson and that lasted about 2 weeks, next was a Shark Navigator that lasted about 2 months, returned it, got another Shark. I was using these sharks as a commercial vacuum and was going thru them about every 2 or 3 months… I was not happy! One evening I started searching online for a commercial grade vacuum… Low and behold I found Prolux Backpack Commercial vacuum! I seriously immediately ordered one. I was so grateful when it arrived. I put it together which was super simple. I put the backpack on and tested on my own hardwood floors with the awesome attachment(s) it comes with. Sorry such a long review but seriously this is the best vacuum I have ever used, owned. I recommend this vacuum for everyday use. It is powerful, lightweight, comfortable for hours of use. I bought the Prolux backpack vacuum because I was tired of the inconvenience when vacuuming stairs with another brand upright model. I found it to be superior overall. It has better suction, so it cleans better. I can vacuum hard surfaces, different thicknesses of carpet and upholstery without having to change settings or tools. I can get around the kid's bedroom floor clutter without inadvertently sucking something up. It made an accent shag rug that was flattened by use look almost new. The standard carpet looks noticeably better. It probably takes me two-thirds the time to clean as before. I like not having to buy bags. However, it took a few tries to come up with a good way to clean it. Prolux included a brush for getting dust from the filter. Fine, if you want to spend tedious minutes and breathe dust in the process. Instead, I brush the large clumps and then use my garage vacuum to get the rest. The cord is long enough to make unplugging and replugging only necessary when changing floors. The backpack style makes it very easy to move from room to room and it's reasonably light. The straps are stiff and rough on the arms. They seem sized for someone with a larger girth. They are a little loose for me when fully tightened. However, it works just fine. I have had the vacuum for 2 months. It seems very well constructed. I would buy it again.Sherman

Ich meinen Rowenta Silence Force Allergy Bodenstaubsauger schon seit einigen Wochen und bin noch immer begeistert. Er saugt wirklich alles weg – auch kleine Steinchen – welches mein anderer kabelloser Sauger nicht gemacht hat! Dieser hatte nur alles weggeschossen – darum habe ich mich wieder für einen Sauger mit Kabel genommen. So komme ich in jede Ecke und mit den vielen Aufsätzen, schaffe ich wirklich alles zu erreichen. Selbst die „Traumfänger“ in den oberen Zimmerecken J. Alles ist schnell umgesteckt und man kann sofort loslegen. Mit dem ergonomischen Griff hat man den Sauger fest im Griff. Weiterhin kann man am Griff noch die Saugstärke einstellen und hat gleichzeitig eine Möbelbürste die mir auch gerne mal hilft kleine Krümel wegzusaugen vom Frühstück. Natürlich muss man erstmal ein Plätzchen im Haus finden, wo man die ganzen Zubehörteile verstaut – aber dafür ist es wirklich sauber. Wir haben im Wohnzimmer und Flur noch eine alte Heizung (mit dicken Heizkörpern) – wo man mit den Stecksystemen sehr leicht rein kommt und alles perfekt sauber bekommt. Gerade hier sammeln sich auch die Staubfänger/Spinnweben. Mit einem normalen Staubsaugerrohr kommt man da leider nicht richtig ran. Man musste hier immer mit einem Staubwedel ran – jetzt wird alles weggesaugt J. Aufgefallen ist mir, dass der Rowenta Staubsauer wirklich schwer ist und nicht sehr wendig ist. Mir persönlich ist es jetzt egal – aber eine volle Punktzahl wird es daher nicht geben. Ein Pluspunkt ist aber das lange Netzkabel von 8,40 m. Hier muss ich nicht immer erst umstecken sondern komme in fast alle Zimmer komplett rein. Also wenn ich den Rowenta Silence Force Allergy Bodenstaubsauger mit meinem Kabellosen Staubsauger (der um einiges teurer war) jetzt vergleiche -> würde ich immer wieder einen Bodenstaubsauger bevorzugen! Produit onéreux. A l'utilisation le tuyau souple s'avère trop court. Il est difficile d'aspirer les plinthes au sol avec la brosse rétractable qui se trouve sur le tuyau souple. Car le tuyau souple est bien trop court. Et pourtant je ne suis pas grande. Pour aspirer en hauteur ou le haut des plafonds il faut ajouter les tubes métal qui sont très lourds. Aspirer devient fatigant. Voire très épuisant. Par contre les accessoires fournis sont biens, mais pas pratiques à l'usage. Car ils ne s'emboîtent pas sur le tube métal. Et l'assemblage des différents accessoires ne permet donc pas d'atteindre des zones très hautes, du fait qu'on ne peut pas les mettre sur le tube métal télescopique. Got this back pack vacuum a couple of months ago, it’s super good, lightweight, super strong power to vacuum love the two speeds it has for day time the low mode it’s quiet and strong suction but the high speed it’s stronger than any other vacuums I ever used. I really love it and recommend for commercial, residential or to clean small houses. The only reason I can’t give the 5 stars it’s cause the extension wand( telescoping tubes) got stuck when u slide one thru the other and it’s kind of hard to put them apart.

It's great! We can now vacuum the entire house in just over 20 minutes. It's much easier than dragging around the old unit from room to room and having to plug it into different outlets as you go. We have pets and this unit is excellent with pet hair. The battery life is rated at about 30 minutes and has never run out on us; sometimes we use it twice before recharging. It is also very easy to clean. It's designed so that the filters last a very long time. In fact, I cannot see where the innermost filter has even one spec of dust on it after a couple of months of use. You should know that although it's great for general use, it's not the best on carpets. We have a carpet vac that we use occasionally on the rugs. We bought a standard Henry for my Aunt and were so impressed with the performance that we have just bought the 'Extra' for ourselves – because we thought we might need the 'powered carpet head'. In fact we don't need the powered head but the cleaner is fantastic compared to a string of Electrolux canister cleaners. I've used the vacuum twice, on the floor and carpet. It has great suction, and comfortable to use. I have used industrial back pack vacuums in my job as grade school custodian, this vacuum is comparable. I think it should have a chest strap, so the weight of the vacuum isn't hanging off the shoulders, this might become a strain if you need to use for s long period of time. I love my new backpack. After going through two vacuums each year, it stopped sucking and working. I went online and saw a bag less backpack vacuum. I did my research and I loved what I read and saw. I ordered mine and I ABSOULTLY LOVE IT. It does take a little getting used to it being on your back but after a little its like you don't notice it. The villains are terrifying because there are people like them in real life, and the actors do such a good job that I forget that they are fictional. Another thing that is underrated but I really liked here is that the show wasn't excessive. I mean that there wasn't excessive gore, excessive sex or nudity or excessive swearing. When there is an excess of these things in a movie or show it can often be overbearing and can ruin the experience of watching the show or movie in my opinion. But Breaking Bad has a perfect balance of all these things. I just can't get enough of this show. I even made a special trip to Albuquerque so I could visit all of the filming locationsnicole.m

Everyone I know fell into the breaking bad addiction. Hahaha. So to speak. Not the meth addiction but the show addiction! What a good show!! If you haven't seen this you need to! I think many, when looking at the main star of this show (Bryan Cranston) will have only really been familiar with him from Malcolm In The Middle. He played Hal, a simple Dad with simple values and an unbeatable love for his family. Who would have thought that he can take a character with the same basic love of his family and create something incredibly unique from that. In Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston plays Chemistry professor Walter White who's married with a handicap son who suffers from Cerebral Palsy and a child on the way. One day Walter is hit with the ultimate bombshell as he finds he has inoperable lung cancer and has little time left to live. Walter realises that he can't assure his families financial security for the little time he has left being a teacher. He hears about a raid on a crystal meth lab that seizes millions of dollars worth of drugs which he decides that he must be a part of that. He knows how to make the best crystal meth ever seen, but not how to get it on the streets which is why he must enlist the help of his former student and drug pusher Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). I honestly didn't have high hopes for this show as, although I'm a huge fan of Bryan Cranston for his work on Malcolm In The Middle, I struggled to believe he could pull off such a train wreck of a character. The family is a typical middle class American family struggling to take care of their disabled son trying to make him have as normal a life as possible. In a way I can relate to the situation as I'm disabled myself and know how much of a strain it can be on parents. Sure, it's not the same disability, but the family struggling through it is definitely displayed well and R.J. Mitte as Walter Jr. is an excellent fit. Although I'm betting he was only cast because he too has Cerebral Palsy, he still fits the bill and plays the character brilliantly. Fantastic, fantastic show. I don't want to tell you much about the seasons events as it is quite short and risks spoiling certain events. I have to tell you that there are times in which this show doesn't hold back. It has no qualms about showing you the brutality of a broken man fighting against his own sense of morality, joining the drug world and even dealing with the fact that he killed a guy. Oh and obviously he's dying and is reminded of that from time to time but it's certainly gelled together brilliantly. Just to wrap it up I can only really say this TV show is amazing in every way and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Bryan Cranston is a very underrated actor, but he's determined to prove himself for which he does a terrific job. When this DVD set comes out in the UK I'll certainly be one of the first to buy it.dam.m

Now THIS is what you call a TV series. Talk about an experience of a show. I think that everyone on Earth should watch this show once. I thank the creator of the film camera everyday for allowing geniuses like Vince Gilligan to create masterpieces like this. The show does everything perfectly. The pacing, the lighting, the acting, the dialogue, the drama, it's all 100/10. And the characters. Oh my goodness, the characters. Walter White is definitely top 10 most iconic and unforgettable protagonists of television history. No matter what he does, you're always on his side. And all of the main characters are likeable: Saul, Hank, Jesse, Gus, Mike and Skyler. One of my new favorites & I can't wait to buy the whole series as they come out. I thought at first that it was supposed to be a comedy then discovered it was a comedic drama. I was hooked by then. I think it has great acting & it's one of those stories where you know you're supposed to dislike the guys, you just can't help but root for them. Maybe because there are legitimate reasons for what the guy is doing. I would never think there's a good reason for what he does & I don't want to spoil the plot for you, but there is. I think it's worth buying if you like to see something that has a different plot & is unpredictable. I really like this series.cjburrg
I saw a few episodes while at work and found it very interesting. The main character has real life problems that are indicative of today's society. The challenges of maintaining a quality of life in the face of rising social chaos really hits home. The choices made are ones many people world-wide are forced to make in order to feed and house their families. Breaking Bad is a very sad commentary on life in this millienum. It carries the disclaimer that it makes no refrence to real individuals but even at a quick glance any viewer with half a brain can identify someone in their inner circle as any if not all of the players in the series. We may dislike what is gojng on in the show but we understand the reasoning and logic that went into the series of bad decisions. The constant downward spiral of the lives of the main characters,clearly show that the decisions are more like a link series of disasters with an invevitable outcome. That outcome, is much like the decision very predictable and also very bad. Life and the crazy situations we are faced with can and often do, alter our characters and sometimes in ways we do not like, making our lives and the lives of those we love and hold so dear, a living nightmare.vdvideos03
Great series. It is a hybrid between the Godfather, the Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire but breaks away from its predecessors in terms of real time issues with drugs. That's probably why so many liked this series so much. It is based on real time events that spotlights current issues involving the drug culture, its participants and sideline issues regarding the cartels and the DEA. The anti-hero "Mr. White" ,what a name, literally drags us into the mess one would encounter trying to make some easy money without getting dirty. Well worth watching.tenochitlanone
