I also tried using the conditioner with other sulfate-free shampoos and didn’t have the same result. I’ve used a few different argan oils for my hair, most common ones being the OGX and Hanz De Fuko Hair Oil. The Forte Series beats them both by a mile! I have fine hair, so those of you who are like me know it’s hard to find a good product that controls frizz while not weighing your hair down too much. This does just that! It’s not too oily and heavy (much like the OGX ) and does a better job controlling the frizz when compared to HDF Hair Oil. This stuff goes on super easy and evenly and leaves my hair soft all day. The scent is the same as the molding paste so no need to worry about clashing fragrances. Fine Hair Tip: after washing with shampoo and towel drying, I mix a drop of this in my hand with the Molding Paste as a pre-styler to give my hair so much more volume when blow drying!Matt M.

Love the packaging design of this in my bathroom. Brightens it up immediately and looks very pretty. However the quality of the plastic is awful and I keep hurting my hand while opening it because it’s difficult to grab the lid to open, and the edges are sharp enough that I’m worried I’ll cut myself one day. Onto the product! It smells like soy and vanilla. I wish the vanilla was more toned down. But fortunate it’s not at an unbearable level for someone sensitive to fragrance like me. As far as sulfate-free shampoos go, this lathered up decently okay (by which I mean not like completely drying) so long as you used a decent amount. Not super softened or magical but it did keep the brassiness of my bleached hair under control. For sulfate free types I think it’s alright if you like the brand and packaging.
This is a really nice silky hydrating leave in conditioner. I like to use it after the shampoo and mask from the same line and I love how it makes my hair feel and look. I apply this from mid to ends and comb and style as usual. It leaves my hair soft and shiny without being too heavy. It has some of my favorite nourishing ingredients like argan oil and marula oil. Just like the shampoo, it has a slight lower PH which is what I look for in hair care products since they hydrate but are less damaging. It’s perfect for every day hydration and helps a lot with frizz control, especially on thick wavy hair like mine! I just love the moisture I get from the Drunk Elephant Silkamino Mega-Moisturizing Shampoo for my hair and my scalp loves it too! This really is a deeply moisturizing shampoo I truly feel my hair gets plenty of moisture and feels healthier with use, looks shinier, softer too, and even stronger. It does a great job too at deep cleansing away all my product buildup I have in my hair from all the hair products I use which is a plus, plus dirt, sweat, and oils too it cleanses away. I recently wrote a review how disappointed I was in the shampoo not lathering up as it used to. I use the conditioner too which doesn’t seem to have changed. I recently bought this spray to detangle and I’ve got to say it’s great. I spray it in shampoo and conditioned hair whilst damp and you can brush straight through it. It doesn’t leave the hair greasy either which was a worry on fine hair. A bit pricey but as it works it is worth it. XLoz1
Smell wasn’t great, but was secondary to the fact that it honestly was more drying to my daughter’s thick 3C curls than anything. Made it frizzy, even while I was braiding her hair after washing & deep conditioning. I also used my usual concoction Jojoba for moisture & grape seed oil to seal it in. Very disappointed. I should have took Additional pictures the day after. It looked like her braids were in for 4 days, instead of next day hair which is usually the neatest. Definitely returning.RazM
Been using this leave in conditioner for over 6 months now. Its been such a game changer in my hair care routine which mainly consisted of trying to tame my curly hair. I bought this as an alternative to wash out conditioner which do not seem to do enough for dryness and manageability. My hair is in great condition and much less breakage as the added bonus which has meant my hair is better than it has been for years. Not using as much styling product either as this spray leaves a great finish to naturally dry or use via hair dryer. And on top of all that it smells so good!!! Love this product.Atina51

Now for a moment (or more accurately, more like several moments, as my review style tends to be on the longer and detailed side, generally) of truth for some of you who may have read my reviews on the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler I received from Influenster recently may have been waiting for – here are my current thoughts and opinions on the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, which I also recently received in my Influenster VoxBox for testing purposes in exchange for my honest and complete review. Overall, there were and are quite a number of things about this shampoo with regards to the way it works with my current (used to be different when I was younger) hair type and condition. My current hair type of relatively thin/fine, ever so *slightly* wavy when it has not been straightened, and sort of a 'combination hair' type – tending to be drier and more prone to breakage near the tips, yet more oily to regular (depending on the day, time of day, weather, my activity level that day, etc) near the top/roots/my scalp area. Some of the things I loved most so far about this after having used this shampoo for probably about seven times or so since receiving it (sometimes my hair gets so oily towards the top – in the summer particularly, that I have to wash it twice a day!) are the light and pleasant, slightly fruity smell (it makes me think strawberries, somewhat), the smoothness of the product, how nicely it lathers, and how it, in combination with the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Miracle Filler products that I also received from my box already seemed to have been making it significant difference to my hair's softness, strength, shine, and overall feeling of increased health. The main thing that I found problems *for me personally* about this shampoo, was that, while it generally has seemed to work very well for the mid-shafts to ends/tips of my hair in terms of nourishing and cleansing properties, unfortunately I found that on a number of occasions, it has not been quite cleansing or clarifying enough near my roots/scalp area for me to feel that that area of my hay was thoroughly clean – therefore, I personally had to either mix or follow up this shampoo with a different shampoo that I have found more clarifying for me personally (recently I have been using an Aussie brand shampoo – I think a volume one, but I can double check on that later). This is my genuine experience with the product so far, and I do hope it has helped you out too! My ethnicity is Asian – Chinese, specifically (my mother is from Hong Kong), and of European Jewish descent on my father's side of the family. Hopefully that may also help give you some baseline information about where my mixed-ancestry hair type originates from. This is a product that I would recommend most for people with regular to drier hair *or* for those of you who are like me with the 'combination hair' I described above, something that would be good to use on the mid-shafts to ends/tips of your hair. I like how my hair feels and the conditioner feels light and creamy. The smell is good. I think I’m seeing fewer flyaways and less frizz. Maybe it is actually strengthening my hair, but I’ve also been using a mini bottle of that 30 benefits leave-in spray-which I’m out of as of today. do notice my hair looking a bit greasy after just a day, but it is blonde-not color treated, and shows grease lines easily, especially since I’m back at work as a teacher spending much less time outside and there’s less sun now that it’s fall-and I’m down to a sulfate shampoo since ai didn’t receive the shampoo but I haven’t received the shampoo yet even though I ordered the duo. I want to try them all before investing in any liter bottles. Years back, my sister had me try her Nano Works in a light green bottle, and it was amazing, but that type is no longer made, and the Nano Gold is even more expensive than the others and not the same. I think this may be awesome-just the scent isn’t my favorite, but it’s really nice and so much better than anything else I have. First, a bit about my hair – so, you have a sense of comparison. My hair is straight and fine, but I have a lot of it, and it has been colored for years and years … everything from fashion colors to varying highlights to my current platinum hair. Basically, my hair was damaged, weak, and tired, my ends were incredibly dry, and, at one point, I even had massive breakage (as in clumps of hair breaking off when I brushed my hair – see photo). I have tried, what feels like, every single hair product known to man from supplements to specialized shampoo and conditioner to leave in conditioners to various oils – you get the idea (you can see some of those products in the background of the photo). So, I was a bit skeptical to try yet another “repair” shampoo, but I am thrilled that I did. Within the product description it states that the shampoo “instantly repairs and shows results after just one use” … well, that statement is true, at least for me. Normally when I wash my hair, after I rinse the shampoo, my ends still have texture to them (they still feel dry); however, after using the combination of BOTH the shampoo and conditioner, my ends felt as smooth as the rest of my hair. Honestly, I have not felt that smooth texture on my ends in years and years. I love that the formula contains less than 1% of synthetic fragrances (though it smells great), is 100% vegan and doesn’t contain parabens or Sulfates SLS or SLES. Yes, the price might seem high, however, you must consider that the shampoo is so highly formulated that one bottle allows for over 75+ shampoos … that’s right, 75+! This shampoo & conditioner did more for my hair in one single wash than any other product has done, period. My hair is much healthier and stronger singly handily because of this shampoo and conditioner. The older I get the less manageable my hair has becomes. Coloring for the last few years, aving a baby, and not really up keeping my hair hasn't helped. I recieved this as a sample in exchange for an honest review. Well, to start so much of my hair has broken and I have tons of split ends. Also all the broken pieces, I get a lot of frizz. JVN instant recovery cream has definitely made a difference in my hair after using it for two weeks. First, it has such a fresh clean scent so I don't mind using it in my hair. First, I purchased this with my own $$ after seeing an article from The Kit so I was not paid or sponsored for this review! I just want to help my people find hair products that work b/c it’s hard to find!!! I have shoulder length relaxed hair with 3inches of curly new growth and I’ve been struggling to find a solution that allows me to moisturize and smooth my new growth while not weighing down my relaxed hair and CHILE, I found her! This serum is magical- I used JVN pre-poo oil(GAME CHANGER), then a full Olaplex treatment(no 0 for 1hr, then no 3 for 1hr, followed by 4+5) then I used a bean sized amount of this serum, mixed with a bean sized amount of Olaplex no6 and a pea sized amount of Pattern by TER leave in conditioner on wet hair. I use the LCO method, which I find is better for relaxed hair than the LOC method, so I layered a little Pattern Jojoba oil, Olaplex 7 and a smidge of castor oil on my roots and ends. It’s been a week and usually by now, my hair is dry, limp and crazy, but this serum has my hair bouncing and behaving!! It’s light, my hair is snatched and blends with my weave like I’ve never had before! Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends is the best leave in conditioner for fine hair ever.. I have very fine hair and I wash and dry it everyday with a hairdryer, without this product my hair would be dry and damaged very quickly. You only need a small amount no larger then a 5 cent piece for short hair, rubbed in straight after you towel dry your hair. Then dry with your hairdryer followed by a light mist of Vapor Mist Hairspray and thats it – it wont cause your hair to become limp even in humid weather. A really good product and well worth the try. I would also like to mention that this company is offering this product at a really good price , my local haircare shop charges at least an extra $10 per tube, so if you buy at least a years supply like I do you wont be paying postage either. This is a great company to deal with, I have had no problems with my parcels arriving within a couple of days of my order – no waiting a week for things to arrive. This is the best brand I have for a hair mask. It’s cheap and great. There’s one for hair growth toooooo. Normally I get that one but hey didn’t have it here to pick. But you can leave it in your hair in the shower and shave and do all your stuff oorrrr leave it on your head with a cap and fold clothes lol I’ve done both.. either way.. ummm wow. A really nice leave in that doesn't male my fine hair greasy or sticky. It does seem to sink in like a skin moisturiser does. With that in mind, it's very forgiving if you use too much! I was attracted by the described scent of vanilla and lavender, but that doesn't come through so much as just a general mildly sweet smell. Although this is obviously aimed at night time, I apply it to my ends any time because it really does keep them soft. The only thing it doesn't help with is detangling so in the morning your hair is soft but will be just as knotty as normal. This is still one I've repurchased and continue to enjoy, and works beautifully with the rest of the range too.Sarah
I purchased this during the 21Days of Hair event and am LOVING the results. I have corse thick blonde hair. (I have dark hair naturally) I split my hair into two sections I use about 3 pumps on each section. My hair absorbs this beautifully. I have thin, straight hair that is coloured. I typically use more expensive products for my hair as I've had bad experiences with supermarket shampoo and conditioner. I quite like that Garnier products are environment-conscious and that they are taking steps to improve their brand. I also like that all of the ingredients are listed very clearly and that it is free of a lot of nasty stuff. It has a nice watermelon lolly type fragrance to it. I noticed that my hair was feeling softer and generally cleaner after each wash, and that I was able to go longer in between each wash than normal. The product was easy to use, however did not lather as much or as easily as what I am used to. This was still manageable, but I did find myself using a little bit more product than expected due to this. Either way this product is considerably cheaper than the higher end brands I have been using, so I'm happy to know that there is a good quality, affordable alternative that I can add to my haircare routine.Becc N.
I was excited to try this conditioner as I am always looking to add more volume to my fine hair. What can I say about this except, another amazing product in the Ultimate Blends Hair food range. The product is thick and creamy and comes in a squeezable bottle with a flip cap. The product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and the packaging is recyclable , which is gratifying. For a daily (or every time you wash your hair) conditioner, I cannot recommend the Ultimate Blends range enough. Free of plastics and other nasties, and completely natural apart from a few vital ingredients, I know my hair thanks me whenever I coat it in a generous layer of any of the range. This watermelon sinks in so nicely into my fine hair and smells divine. The highlight of Garnier's Ultimate Blends Watermelon Conditioner is definitely its scent. The Fructis Watermelon Hair Food Shampoo was easy to use with a flip lid and compact container. The packaging is aesthetically pleasing and resembles a 'healthy watermelon drink' but for your hair. I am extremely pleased that the product was made from 50% recycled plastic and is biodegradable, which considering the products size, is extremely important; I wash my hair every day or every second day (my hair gets greasy quickly) and I would go through these bottles relatively fast. I have fine and flat hair that lacks volume and movement. Therefore, since I have such fine hair the shampoo lathered easily throughout my hair and did not require a lot of product. The watermelon fragrance was my favourite aspect of this product. It smells delicious and luxurious when washing your hair, however, the smell does not last in your hair once washed and dried; this is unfortunate. Using this product regularly, I did find a slight difference in volume, my hair felt lighter and it had the post-salon feel but it did became weighed down by the end of the day when my hair became greasy; however my hair is prone to grease regardless of which shampoo I use. I have naturally oily hair so I didn't need this but it's a little pampering for my hair in the wintertime when it needs a bit more hydration at the ends. Once in awhile, I around 2-4 pumps of this serum, rub it in my hands, and apply it around the ends of my hair after towel drying my hair. I used a Tsubaki hair milk years ago that came in a spray bottle, but I couldn't find that exact same one when I was ordering a hair milk recently, so I opted for this one. This hair milk makes my hair soft IMMEDIATELY after I apply it and it dries!! It's so magical. I apply this to damp hair after I shower and when my hair dries, all of the parts of my hair that have this hair milk applied are like 10 times softer than the parts of my hair without it. However, because there isn't a spray nozzle, but just a pump one, it's a hassle to use this every day. I have to put a few squirts into my hand and then rub it into my hair. It's a thicker consistency, so I can see why they used a pump instead of a spray nozzle, but because of this, I only use this hair milk every so often. The bottle is also kind of small; I feel if I used this every day, I would run out within a month?Tammy

I went to the store to get the anti-frizz cream from the same line but one of the customer service staff recommended this product instead if my concern was the frizz. I have very long, wavy and coarse thick hair so winter is not my bestie. I decided to go for it and trust him and I couldn't be happier for my choice! I literally need ONLY 10 drops (5 each side of my hair) and let it air dry as I style it. This kit comes with 4 products for a pretty good price. Be aware that the styling cream is just a one time use sample packet, not really a trial size…this is what I wanted to try most. I used the cream and holding spray yesterday for a wedding. I used an old blow dry curler (conair I think). The products made for a smooth blowout, but for me, with my thin, long, fine hair, it did not hold. I may never find something that holds curls or styles 🙁 I have tried a lot of different things in my day. The volumizing spray worked for a couple hours, but was super crunchy on my roots and really stays in til you wash. I imagine this would be perfect and would have worked better if I had shorter hair. All in all, the products are strong and would seem to work with shorter hair or maybe if I knew what I was doing when styling LOL. I got this for my sister who’s been wanting to up her haircare game… you get everything you’d need in a hair routine within the set and I think it’s great value for money to try something new without fully committing to it with full sizes and bigger prices. So far so good! My sisters hair definitely looks fuller and has more ‘bounce’ to it, even without styling. She has fine flat hair and not a lot of it so it’s really easy to see the difference in the quality of her hair.
