Reviews:
So impressed. I am not paid or given a free bot for this review. I researched for 4 months and settled on this model by Shark. I don't know why people are claiming that this robot marks walls it comes close but does not touch them in fact if it sees a object it slows down till it maneuvers around it. Everything advertised it does and does excellent. The app is very easy to use. People complain about the app but I think they are using cheap phones or tablets. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this unit, I watched tests between roombas and eufys and all the the robot vacuums that could self empty at twice to three times the shark was nothing is close. The main thing was all the other company's use Vslam and cameras for guidance they can not see in the dark and basically go in random action like a bump and go toy, Not this Shark that uses lidar which is a invisible rotating Laser for guidance it is perfect and works even in the dark. I had to laugh roombas latest self empty has a white spotlight led mounted above its camera so it can clean without bright sun or the lights on. So you can pay 1400.00 for the vslam spotlight robot or 500.00 for the shark and have 3yr vip warranty with latest tech and row by row cleaning, and individual room cleaning. I also want to point out that after it does a room row by row when it finishes that it goes all the way back around the border of that room. Suction power is excellent on max, but you can choose between eco, norm and max in the app. You can choose to have it go back to empty every 30 minutes and it will go right back where it left off. I never have had it not find the base or had to go find it. I know it can be frustrating when trying to decide on which robot vacuum to buy. Do yourself a favor and buy one if you don't like it they have a 90 Day return policy and the customer service is awesome and they do care.Speedracer
One Year since purchase of our RV1101 (the 2502's previous generation model). I am completely satisfied with our Shark AI self emptying vacuum! 2 Labradors and a cat in our 2400sq foot home ensure that it has plenty of hair and dirt to contend with and it accomplishes its duties admirably. While the literature indicates "Up to 30 days" between emptying the base dirt receptacle, under these conditions that is a ridiculous expectation! Empty it daily until you determine for yourself how long it takes to fill it based on your actual home cleaning requirements if you have pet's in your home! That said, this is an incredibly good tool for keeping a home as clean as possible when shedding dogs are a part of your life. Other than emptying the dust bin every 1-2 days, it only requires washing the foam base filter once weekly and thoroughly cleaning the robot and base including vacuuming out the filters every 2-4 weeks. A truly minimal amount of time and effort required for a remarkable result. Getting "stuck" is a very rare occurrence if you follow the instructions for preparing your home. The "Empty and Resume" and "Recharge and Resume" features are what enable the Shark robot to accomplish it's duties in a home this size, Every day it's full cycle runs for over 4 hours to fully clean our home including 4 clean and dump cycles and a full recharge cycle (2 hours) after the 2nd dump following the first hour of operation. This includes the time it spends "Going Back" to clean any area where it expects to clean but may have been prevented from doing so on it's first attempt due to being obstructed by frequently moved furniture or a lazy old dog that refuses to move for "that pesky robot" (yes the old dog will just lay there despite being bumped repeatedly). All in all a fantastic cleaning machine! PS. Buy additional foam filters right away so you can have 2 in weekly rotation so you NEVER put a damp filter back in the base!krazybob
As soon as I received the Shark AI Robot Vacuum I wanted to set it up immediately in our open concept kitchen, dining and living area. All laminate flooring. I thought that the set-up might be a bit complicated for me but Shark has made the set-up and operation of this vacuum very user freindly. Even before opening the box, I was able to take my smart phone and scan the QRCode on the outside of the box and download the app. Step by step instructions guide you through the vaccum set-up process. (The most complicated task I had to do was go to my internet provider's app and enable the 2.4Ghz setting on our router, which is required for the Wifi connection) The set-up process includes sending the robot vacuum out for a mapping of the area to be cleaned. I was amazed that after just about 10 minutes the entire area was mapped out. Afterwards, I went to the app to look at the map and saw an accurate representation of my rooms, down to the footprint of a column seperating the rooms. The schedule tool allows for scheduling the vacuum to run whatever time, whatever day and however many days a week. It also records a history of those past scheduled cleanings and represents on the map the areas cleaned. I am definitely using the Ultraclean feature of the vacuum. This feature enables highlighting on the map, heavy traffic areas, or in our case the areas of the floor in front of the sink, around the island and the area in front of the stairs. The vacuum spends extra time cleaning these areas during the scheduled cleanings. I have also taken advantage of the spot cleaning feature. This feature enables you to highlight a spot on the map and have the vaccum clean only that spot without the vacuum doing an entire cleaning. After any cleaning that vacuum performs , the vacuum returns to the self empty base. Quite honestly, this Shark robot vacuum has too many features to list here in my review. The technology packed into this vacuum is amazing. Shark has developed an app that has all the support anyone could need. There is a printed instruction manual for viewing, there are seven videos available for viewing and there is the Shark Customer Care support available by phone. After running our Shark robot vacuum for about three weeks, I only have great things to say about this cleaning tool.maz6878

Reviews:
My house is a 2217 square foot house and its floors are over 75% carpet which requires good vacuuming considering there are small children and a wide layout of rooms on both floors which necessitates a robot vacuum on each floor to ensure deep cleaning on carpets to prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt. This Robot Shark IQ has a high level of absorption leaving a great job in its wake. The ground floor has a large dining room, office, bathroom, laundry room, kitchen and hallway areas that require good vacuuming and I have noticed that even with all of that, it has mapped it out super well in just 3 cycles. , and has started off in a different direction each time, obviously looking to complete the map and is doing an excellent job so far. He has had no problem returning to his "mother ship" to unload when needed and picking up where he left off. Run time on most tile and carpet floors can be approximately 90 minutes, including 1 or 2 round trips to unload. After loading, it will come back out and pick up where it left off, just as you'd expect. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the work is repeated in the same way with an impeccable finish due to its powerful suction level… it is a great appliance that saves us time and we can program it to clean without us being at home. For me super effective-practical and functional.Vicky 92
My 3rd Shark Robot A few years ago I bought a Shark ION RV750 robovac on eBay and was blown away by what a good job it did, so I purchased a Shark R85 on the next Prime Day, but was disappointed as it seemed it wasn't an upgrade, if anything it performed a little worse (it was slightly taller so it didn't fit under as many items of furniture), but it still did an excellent job. So moving into a tri-level home, I knew I wanted to get one more, but was torn between getting another 750 (which I knew worked well – and it's still going strong to this day!) or if I wanted to splurge and get the IQ Self-Empty. The appeal of being able to map and then determine which rooms were to be vacuumed was a big appeal as I've got two teens and their rooms aren't always robovac friendly. I also really liked the idea of not having another robovac to empty daily. We have 3 cats and a dog – along with allergies, so daily vacuuming is a must – and it's always a full bin. I considered the Roomba i7+ and i9+, but figured that I'd already had such a good experience with Shark that I'd stick with what I know works, and works well. So I decided to give the IQ a try. I'm already blown away! It's exceeded my expectations and it hasn't even completed the mapping process yet. As always, set up was a breeze. It's only ran a few times, but I can already tell a difference between it and the 750 that was previously on the top floor. I have a Shark Apex vacuum and the carpets are closer to that level of clean than the ION 750 which is astounding. Unlike my other two robovacs, it sets out and vacuums row by row with an impressive amount of precision. It does, as expected, fail to get debris in compact corners (for example the 4 inches of wall between the dresser and the doorway). It's ability to navigate around items, but then remember exactly where it left off once it has gone around, cleaned and returns to that spot, is equally impressive. The precision in which it finds the dock and loads in unlike the other two robovacs, albeit, I don't give it the suggested space around the dock (all three versions do just fine docking even with minimal surrounding open space). When it self-empties, it is loud, but not any more so than how a normal household vacuum sounded about 20 years ago, and it only lasts for about a minute, if that. I love this little robovac so much that I could see myself replacing the other two older ones with this model in the next year or so. Let me be clear, emptying the bins daily isn't bad at all. It's that the only trash wide enough to easily ensure none of the dust or debris go into the air or on the surrounding ground is the kitchen trash – and that's assuming no one's loaded up the trash to almost being full, and while most of the time, I'll go dump the bins in large trash, if I'm running out the door or in the middle of something else, I do tend to just go to the nearest trash can – which makes a small mess (although much less messy than not having the floors clean at all!).Ashlie
We’ve owned other robot vacuums and it’s very apparent the difference in quality, performance and advanced features with this Shark IQ Robot. The vacuum is very thoroughly at cleaning every nook and cranny. It can transition easily from hardware floors to rugs. There are blocking strips that are included if you don’t want it to go in certain areas such as cords or fringe materials. It does a good job of getting out of a spot that it can get stuck in. I was very impressed that it would maneuver on and off the base of our bar stools. It will get under beds, sofas and tables as long as there is clearance. I would highly recommend downloading the Shark Clean app so the robot can map your house and you can control, monitor and schedule to have it automatically start cleaning or you can turn it off and it will return back to the charging dock. So cute! The best part is the self emptying function that will empty all the debris each time it returns to the base. The only negative feedback is that it is very loud when it performs the self emptying function, but at least you know that it is working. We don’t wear shoes in the house and like to vacuum every few days to pick up any dust and dirt which is very noticeable and enjoyable. This is well worth the price.saleetah

Reviews:
Not super impressed. It definitely helps keep the floors clean but the software sucks. PROS: Cleaner floors but I still have to vacuum corners periodically. Scheduling daily cleaning is nice. CONS: Bumps into things WAY to much and just forces itself into areas where it will get in trouble instead of just turning around. Will start cleaning an area then randomly leave to the opposite end of the house where it wanders around aimlessly then starts cleaning somewhere else. It returns to certain areas multiple times where it again swirls around aimlessly then disappears off to another room (this happens around my office chair a lot while I’m on the phone and drives me absolutely insane.) Sometimes it follows a wall ALL THE WAY AROUND THE HOUSE, moving a couple inches then turns and bumps the wall over and over to get back to the charger. My recommendation is buy an expensive one that has object avoidance and can actually see the room. Also the maps make almost no sense. They constantly move around misaligning what I’ve tried to correct.CadeN
It was tedious and slightly difficult to get the robot to get on the WIFI. It felt like I had to jump through unnecessary hoops and the machine was being persnickety. I had to threaten to send it back then it found my WIFI and started the process. Once set up, it works well. I expected it to complete one room at a time, but it did partials. It got it all done. It didn't have a problem with the stairs or with the floor grates(my place was built in 1927). It was insistent about what cords it wanted to pull on but after they were fully moved out of the way the task went much smoother. There's also a no-cross strip provided to prevent it from entering a nogo area like a floor drain. It did seem to bump a little hard on the end tables and the ottoman at first, they moved a little but they're light. On subsequent runs, the furniture didn't seem to be moved as much. After it mapped the rooms it let me approve or disapprove of the map. I like the self emptying feature and I can push a button on it to go back to base or use the phone app. I can also use the app to tell it to clean instead of waiting for the scheduled times. It's not "Rosey" from the Jetsons but it does a good job. It plays a little tune when finished which is nice.Bud
Okay so before I get started I have a plethora of dogs keep that in mind as you read this review. Retriever, German shepard, great pyrenees, and mastiff mix. So to start odd I have had this item almost 4 months now. I can definitely tell a difference when it runs versus when it doesn't. I no longer have to sweep my house daily which is great! It saves me so much time! I have an all tile house and when it's done running it looks amazing and that's with 4 dogs that shed a ton and 3 other that don't shed very much at all. Now that being said if you have dogs that shed alot do not get the self emptying function it's not worth the extra cost. Hair will almost always be stuck in the dust bin which will in turn throw an error and the vacuum will not vacuum then. That is why this product would receive 4 stars. I docked another star making it 3 stars because I owned the item only 2 weeks and had issues with the two little buttons on the dust bin getting stuck constantly. By the time I had time to return or call customer service I had owned the item 36 days so past the 30day return policy that was fine and my fault for not finding time to return it sooner but hey there's a warranty right! Well I call the company explain what's going on they video call me so they can see it for themselves and actually have a name for the part other than thingy that holds all the dirt. They proceeded to tell me it was a wear item and I would have to pay $80 for a new dust bin. I had issues with the stupid dust bin since my second week of owning it and when I called customer service I had only had it 36 days, and at that point it had ran less than half of those days because it kept constantly getting errors. I ended up escalating it to a Manger within sharks company and they told me I would have to pay again. At that point asked them why they did not stand behind their product, why it had only ran a full 12 cycles in that 36 day period, and it had broken in 2 weeks of owning it finally at that point they offered a free replacement dust bin. The replacement arrived and I replaced the one that wasn't functioning properly and 2 days later the new dust bin was also not working like it was supposed to. So now I just deal with and pull the little pieces out manually. This item may work phenomenal if you have no dogs but if you have dogs that shed alot save yourself the money get the one you have to empty yourself. And beware the stupid dust bin will probably suck!Lex

Reviews:
I’ve spent several hours of research, this is the Best Bang for the Buck. Do yourself a favor, buy it!!! Read the reviews later. I had not “vaccumed” my stairs in over 3 months as my DYSON DC33 died after several years. I did many hours of research and the Shark brands would be up there with Dyson in most comparisons. I was considering the Dyson Animal but it wouldn’t be less than $500, now Dyson is actual on sale for $350. Prior to writing this review after thorough research and also comparing the Shark Apex Duo Clean, I ended up with this one for $229, I was about to buy it for $279 and it won’t on sale next week. Anyhow just see how much dirt it picked up from the stair case. I only did about 7 of them and my dust-bin is super filthy. Although it might not me a fair comparison with the Dyson DC33 (that died) I’m certain it never sucked like this. This is the most powerful vaccum I have ever experienced. Now let’s talk about build quality, the accessories definitely feel inferior in contrast to a Dyson, so I don’t know about the longevity of this. I also did notice lot of reviewers complained about the pole or the main handle that goes behind the vaccum, that also is hollow and feels like it won’t last too long, but it works great I couldn’t be happier. In all honesty you do not need to spend $400-500. Some reviews say the Apex Duo Clean with 2 roller brushes doesn’t pick up as well as this. I’ve only tried the stairs, I will edit my review if needed. I will have to try on tiles/ hard floor.DmnTrd40
I have been a shark customer for a very long time. I have the power lift-away from years ago and the things runs like a champ. However, I saw this one and thought WOW no more cutting the dog hair from the wheel and an XL cup will save me so..much..time! I would say overall it's definitely a good vacuum BUT I miss features from my other one that make me sad when I pull this one out of the closet. I do still have the other so I can use both. Pros: Lightweight- for a large vacuum, this is very easy to lift XL Cup- definitely helps when you have 2 very large furry dogs Long Hose-ish- long but doesn't reach like it states Super Sucker- I did think the suction was very good on getting up massive amounts of dog hair (Border Collie/Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix) Cons: No Lift-Away- Doesn't seem like that big of a deal until you are going up and down the stairs or reaching into vaulted ceilings, the canister doesn't fall over No Light- again not a HUGE deal but seeing dust bunnies run from you was easier with a light Hose- The hose states it'll reach 12' making stairs easy but let me tell you, it does not even come close. Like mentioned above, once you get hose fully extended you need something to weigh it down so it doesn't fall over from over extension Accessories- My liftaway had a ton of accessories for options i.e. stair brushroll, and a few others but let's stick with that one. For a machine that claims it's turbo power for pets to not provide a stair brushroll seems silly, I have tried to rig my old one to fit my new machine and it works just ok, I end up using my old vacuum to do the stairs ugh. Self Cleaning Brushroll- seems ok for now but still have hair wrapped around it that i'm sure I'll have to cut off. Overall: I like the vacuum, esthetically it's really good looking (because you know that's important) It seems to do a good job as needed, I wish it was a clone of my liftaway with "newer" features but it's not.WCoates
Got this to replace a 15+ year old upright, and I am shocked at how much technology has improved! This is a fraction of the weight, quieter, stronger, more maneuverable, and easier to clean out. The old one had the yellow plastic filter tucked up inside the machine where it was a serious pain to blindly get back in place. I love the ability to vary suction power both on the vacuum and the attachment. (I love the two-in-one attachment.) I gave our place a much-needed vacuuming and was horrified/quite pleased with the amount of awfulness this bad boy cleaned up. After the first time I used this, there was a lot of hair wrapped around the brush. I was initially concerned, but then I decided to trust the instructions (and test the product) and waited until after using it some more to see if it cleaned itself. And it did! I was happy to see the claim fulfilled in at least that one instance.Sherwood

Reviews:
Ordered this bundle for such a great deal! Unfortunately, the item was delivered to the wrong address by FedEx. Totally not Hoover's fault. They re-shipped another bundle to me, and it worked out well the second time. I love these vacuums! They do a great job on our hardwoods and rugs and carpet. Our two year old loves to help vacuum too – that's how light the stick vacuum is! Being cordless is such a plus!!! Only wish that the batteries weren't so expensive, but that's not a huge deal. We purchased one extra battery just so both the handheld and stick have their own batteries. I will say that the handheld is far inferior to the stick, but it works for what we need (to do the stairs and our cars) – just have to go over the same areas multiple times, as the suction isn't stellar. I would recommend and purchase the stick vacuum again for sure… just probably not the handheld.Moon
I bought this cordless vac because I like any conveniences I can get when it comes to house work. I use my floor cleaners more often when cordless. I can glady skip wrapping/unwrapping, plugging/unplugging cords in and out of electrical outlets from room to room. I've been happy with this cordless since I got it last July (not quite one year old). It was an upgrade overall from what I had. However the hose got a hole in it not about 6-7 months in. Not from anything I could figure out. I duct taped it and after a second hole, I contacted the Manufacturer, since it's still within a 3 year warranty. They said the hose is not made anymore – already out of making the parts??? They will replace it — okay, — but I have to mail the whole vac back on my dime. They will pay for the shipment of the new unit. Which may be kinda fair, but it's too soon for this type of episode with a not quite a year old vacuum. Since the parts are not being made – there's no commitment to this product by the mfr. I did not buy at this store, but thought I would let someone know if considering — please don't do it.Chickee
I was going back and forth between this and the shark navigator cordless. They seemed pretty even on reviews. I mostly decided on this because it's was on sale on the Hoover website! I had to wait a little longer to get it then I would from other sites(about 5 days from the day I ordered it) but it was worth the price difference for sure. I was worried about it as I have 4 dogs. A great dane(high shedder short hair), a Mini Aussie( How shedder clumpy hair), a King Shepherd(high shedder clumpy long hair) and a Cheweenie(high shedder short hair. I also have a maine coon cat. So, I essentially have lots of hair everywhere, all the time. I do NOT know how this performs on carpers because I bought it for my wood floors( bathrooms(2), hallway, entryway, dining room, and kitchen.) So far it has worked great for me. I have had ZERO clog issues despite the amount of hair it has to pick up and I have been able to vacuum all the above mentioned rooms in one swoop without the battery going dead. It picks everything up easily. I actually accidentally sucked up a good size piece of paper today and really though it would cause my first clog, but atlas it didn't. So far this vacuum is performing perfectly for me. I think the only downside I can think of as of now is the fact that a replacement battery is 100$. However, there are off brand batteries other places that are compatible with this vacuum for half the price, and the reviews on them state that they actually work better than the original hoover battery… So, I will probably just go that route whenever I need a new battery. If you want a cordless for wood (or any non carpeted) floors, this one is definitely recommended. And it does hold up against that pet hair!Ameri5
7. Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum

Product Details:
When your home is filled with treasured furniture pieces, home store finds, pets and kids, or all of the above, there's not always space to maneuver (or stash) a vacuum. but dust and debris? they're still going to collect (hello, pet hair)! the solution: the dyson v12 detect slim. it sucks up tough messes under the dining table, around the pup's play area, or between your storage baskets with its sleek swiveling design that converts to a stealthy handheld, laser illumination (to reveal dust you didn't even know was there), and a choice of two indispensable (and slim!) cleaner heads — plus, a range of easy-to-use tools. from dyson.
Reviews:
I have an older, corded Dyson which is still a workhorse. But since it is quite heavy and I am older, I can no longer easily carry it up and down stairs. So this corded one now stays upstairs which is carpeted, and the V12 Detect Slim is perfect for downstairs which is all tile/hardwood. I have 2 very fluffy cats which shed a lot – constantly – and will sometimes scatter litter when covering their waste. I tried another stick vacuum which was great for about a year, but then started dropping the litter back down and out onto the floor again so this was frustrating and useless. Back to Dyson and so far so very good. The one small feature that helped me finally make the choice of the V12 Detect Slim is the "on/off" button over the trigger in the other models. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands and the trigger would probably not be comfortable for me. I also love the laser attachment to find all the litter scatter pieces that are not easily seen but certainly are felt by bare feet. I've only had this vacuum for a short while and have not tried all of the attachments yet but am hopeful that my furniture will be cleaner of cat hair just as my floors seem to be. Yes, the dust bin is small, but it's so easy to detach and empty I don't find that to be an issue for me. As long as the V12 Detect slim keeps holding the litter in this bin, I will keep singing its praises. I also bought the standing Dok and love this. Would just like a holder of some sort to attach to the stand for holding more of the attachments. So, considering how well my older, corded vacuum has performed and continues to perform, I'm hopeful for similar performance from the V12 Detect Slim.SueD12
I was very excited to get the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, especially since I have had such great experiences with other Dyson products. Packaging and assembly with a breeze pretty self explanatory. I was impressed from the start with how lite it was, which made is very convenient for the stairs in our house. It was easy enough for the kids to carry around and use too, which is always a plus! I found it fairly easy to use for over head tasks too. I liked that it only has a single button power control. The LCD screen is probably my favorite feature. It shows you what has been lifted on the different surfaces, it is clear and easy to understand. In fact at one point it wasn’t functioning properly and the LCD screen told me what the problem was right away and I was able to fix it right away. I love that I didn’t have to trouble shoot it and take the whole thing apart to figure out the problem. It came with some neat attachments, the fluffy yellow and purple roller that is perfect for our wooden and tile floors, it had no problem fitting under our dining table and coffee table, this saved me time from having to move the furniture around. It comes with a wall dock that provides a way to easily store all the components while charging it as well. It included a neat hair screw tool, the allows you to pick up pet hair making pet spaces easy and fast to keep clean. They have a new design on the motorbar which helps to detangle long hair, eliminating the need for me to take it apart to cut out tangled hair like I have had to with other vacuums. You can select from the three cleaning modes depending on what job you are tackling. The waste bin is super easy to empty, simply point it in the trash can and push the lever to release the dirt. It is quick and straight to the point and I didn’t have to tough anything so my hands never got dirty. I love that it gives you 60 minutes of charge unlike previous machines that gave my around 20 minutes, also I found that the battery did a great job of holding the charge even when it was not in use or plugged in. The only “con” I would say I found was that if you doing a bigger job like cleaning more that a few rooms at a time, you have to stop and empty out the bin more often perhaps because it is a smaller unit but if you don’t mind that it really isn’t an issue. I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family.knamed2016
I have 3 (now 4) Dyson vacuums, I have the Airwrap and it is so awesome I wanted to try their other products. I purchased my first used D6 from eBay, I wanted to try one to see if it worked as well as it was claimed. I liked it but wanted a newer so I gave that one to my son and saved up and went with the V10 model (which I still have and still love), I then purchased the canister (refurbished) for deep cleaning items like furniture because the V10 would only go about 30 minutes and that was frustrating to me. I wanted something with a swappable battery but did not want to spend another $600 so when the small one (Omni Glide) came out I got it from Best Buy and found some extra attachments on ebay for it (mini motorized tool) and that one was excellent for day to day and my car, the battery lasts forever and is swappable, but I never needed a second for that one. My daughter borrowed it (she cleans houses) and she loved it so I let her keep it and found this one, which is in the middle of the 2 I have. I think the laser might send my OCD into overdrive because it showed everything on the floor when it looks clean without it. It is crazy how much dust it shows. I am glad I can turn it off if I choose, but I have not done that. IMO this is the best of the 5 I have tried. The battery seems to last, but it is swappable so when they are available I will be buying an extra. But so far I am using eco mode mostly and the battery lasts longer than I expected. The suction even on eco is better than my D10, my D10 does not suck up the throw rugs, but this one does. I wish I could adjust the suction to lower for this reason but all around this is a great cordless. I like the power switch because it makes it easier when using some of the attachments, not having to hold the trigger, but I am torn as I also like the trigger switch and miss it a little.M00nbeam

I don't know why I waited so long for one of these. I can't say enough good about this unit. I have a siberian husky and this thing is a powerhouse. We have all hard floors and usually used a Swiffer dry pad or a shop vac to clean the floors. Every time I'd finish there would still be dog hair. NO MORE. This little power house runs and the hair is gone. It even does great along the walls and in corners. It's a little too tall for under my furniture but gets under my beds just fine. It took 1 hour the first day so it could map out the areas I have it clean and 40 minutes the next run. I have it clean a living room, two bedrooms, a hallway/house entryway, and my bathroom. On normal mode, only uses 40% of its battery. It's not overly noisy. It can run while I'm watching TV. I think I want a 2nd one, a less expensive model for a kitchen we share with my mother that is on a different floor of the house. she has 5 cats and a messy litter box area. The manual says you need an insane amount of room around the dock but you really don't. you can see from my picture it sits between the diaper genie and an entertainment stand in my grandbabies room that they play and sleep in while they're here.Busymammax2

I’m a previous Roomba owner. I kept getting an error that the dust bin wasn’t working properly, so I purchased a shark IQ. Had the shark for 3 weeks it mapped out my house, I labeled all the rooms and sent it on its way. Yes, it’s quieter than the iRobot Roomba….but the bot boundaries didn’t work good at all. Roomba comes with 2 little sensor towers(battery operated) which worked great at keeping the Roomba away from my dogs water bowls…the shark would just go right over the bot boundaries and spill the water everywhere and drag the boundary tape with it. The shark had a small opening where it would suck up the dirt/hair and then it would go into the dust bin…well it was to small of an opening so it kept getting jammed up in there. Shark with 2 brushes did not clean wall edging & corners as well as the Roomba with only 1 brush. Shark kept cleaning only 2 rooms and leaving a lot behind. Roomba cleaned all rooms and corners/edges much better. So I plugged in my Roomba charged her up and put in the dust bin gave it a whack and she’s back to cleaning again. I purchased a replacement bin to have on hand….returned the Shark IQ. The Roomba does a much better job at cleaning the areas, where the shark left quite a bit behind. So bottom line Roomba is a little louder (a push vac is way noisier) but I know my floors are cleaner…I have a shark rocket push vac and it’s great….but sharks robot Not so good.AnnieJ
It is my first ever robot vacuum purchase and it does job of vacuuming pretty well and keeps carpet clean. It works good on hard floors too. But you can still expect some mess like most robot vacuums as traditional vaccum will still be required once in a while. I bought the IQ model to get additional features of mapping the house so that I can send robot to specific areas to clean after our baby made the mess. Mapping of house took well beyond 50 runs to complete and that too only after I had to delete the mapping which was stuck at 80% completed after 10 runs. I read similar reviews online where mapping is not robust. Even after 100% mapping, the robot doesn't directly go to room but will run for 5 to 10 mins near dock before it goes directly to specified room. And the Shark Android app is ridiculous. It will never ever start right on first go. Its annoyingly slow in response. By the time I try to stop it to prevent waking up my kid, its already too late to get it to stop from app. Its quicker to pause or dock from buttons on robot manually. That being said it's still a good robot which cleans well and hardly gets stuck anywhere and always return back to dock if it started from dock. If you lift and place it in different room to clean, it may not find its way back. Software issues can still be fixed so it is still a good buy for price under $250 on deals/promos. anything above that is probably not worth for this robot. Its probably not as efficient and smart as high end iRobot vacuums but with the promotional price of 200 on Walmart its ok to buy.Hemil
Someone tell Arnold and Keanu to stand down. Robots will not be smart enough to take over the world anytime soon. I told the Shark (I named him Bruce, from the Shark robot used in filming Jaws that kept breaking down) to vacuum the living room, but it seems to be doing the whole house. If I tell it to vacuum the bedroom, it immediately goes to a no-go area between the kitchen and living room. Twice I have ordered new filters and side brushes, twice I have gotten the statement, "order placed," and twice I called the company to ask why my order never came. They've said they have no record of my orders. The only satisfaction I have gotten from this machine is when the dog refused to move and Bruce sucked up the long hair on his tail.

Reviews:
I bought this to replace our old Dyson V6 Animal Cordless. I read many reviews videos for research. I had a Shark Navigator Pro before and I know Shark makes a good vacuum, so I was excited to try this. It seemed great. It went together easily and the crevice tool did well between the couch cushions and around the edges of the house. I liked the flexible arm that let the vacuum bend to get really far under furniture like my tables and sideboards. It was easy to empty the canister and easy to use. After using the vacuum about 30 minutes, a clog developed in the first joint where dirt from the head goes into the tube to take it up to the canister. This clog (half of which is pictured) was so big it extended from the opening of the vacuum suction hole on the bottom of the head, all the way up to where the head attached to the main long arm. After looking into the vacuum head's mechanics, I found that there are three "lock screws" on the underneath that allow you to take off the bottom guard piece to access the suction tube, which means Shark knew this was a problem and they "fixed" it by giving the consumer more work. I was able to use a cat wand toy to shove through the bottom to push the clog out the other side. This mess pictured on my couch was the result. As someone who has severe dust and environmental allergies, I don't exactly want to play with clogs of my allergens in order to get my vacuum running. I also have a large house, two long haired Siberian cats, four teenagers, and a job. The LAST THING I have time for is housework and messing around with crappy vacuums. For the price point, I'd expect this vacuum to actually work properly, and not take a ton of work to use it. The entire thing felt wobbly when fully connected and used to vacuum floors, so I didn't see the expected excellent quality of materials or workmanship for the price point either. Furthermore, as several reviewers stated the vacuum did shock me multiple times with static electricity buildup, which was annoying. Another con to this vacuum is that when I was vacuuming my couch where the cats lay, it wouldn't pick up all the cat fur regardless of how many passes I made. The suction just wasn't powerful enough, or maybe the static buildup offset the suction, gluing the cat hair to the couch in dreadlocked strands. Besides all this, the vacuum was very heavy and bulky. This thing will be going back tomorrow, and I'll be placing my order for the Dyson V11 Animal. I'd rather pay twice as much and know for a fact that my vacuum will work when I need it to, how I need it to. Save yourself the headache and don't get this Shark Vertex Cordless vacuum.MandieSue76
I purchased the Shark Vertex Cordless Stick Vacuum to use primarily to clean the floor near and around my bird cage. Every morning I let my parrot out of her cage, where she sits on the Playtop, and also on a perch mounted outside the cage. She creates quite a mess because seeds drop onto the floor, and some feathers. Getting my corded vacuum out just to cleanup around her cage was a bit of work, so I decided that a cordless vacuum would be the perfect solution. What I love about this vacuum is that it folds down for easy storage, and I can fit it in the room close by the cage. It's very easy to operate, and easy to empty the dust cup. The swivel powerhead with lights works great. It comes with several attachment tools, however, when you remove the power head to use the attachments, the suction power is not as strong. For my use, having this cordless vacuum is still the perfect solution, but I will still be using my corded vacuum for whole house cleaning.DianaNaples
I bought the Shark because I have a corded one downstairs. I needed a vacuum upstairs for my 2 floors, that was light weight and can maneuver pretty well. First off I want to say the "Shark" name is good. This cordless vacuum does not do well with pets. I have 8 cats and cat sand everywhere, the only thing it does is spit the sand out from the back, Has a very difficult time picking up fur as well. You know when you see a piece of fur and the vacuum front just has to go near it to suck it up. This vacuum does not, It just makes it tumble farther. Good for light clean ups but for every week vacuuming, I strongly recommended getting the corded one. It was more power for suction and spot clean ups if you spill rice or oats on floor. To bad because for the price you think it would be worth it. This vacuum is now on our 1st floor where there is very little traffic and pets. Perfect for a formal dinning room or front room that no ones goes in and you need a quick spruce up. Also if you have cats and cat sand, clean filter ever ytime you use it, the dust seems to bog down the performance as well.jsepulvida

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to try several robot vacuums, but nothing has come close to the ECOVACS Robotics DEEBOT X1 OMNI Robot Vacuum & Mop. This unit offers so many features and outperforms all previous units and it also includes a mop feature! What’s in the box: – DEEBOT X1 OMNI vacuum and mop robot – OMNI auto-emptying and auto-cleaning station – Extra dust bag – Extra pair of mopping pads – Cleaning brush – User manual When it arrived the size of the box was a little surprising, I was nervous about how big this robot might be. Once unboxed, it is actually a very manageable size for our home. We have a perfect spot in our family room for the base unit which provides access to all the hardwood and tile flooring on the main level. Setup: There are extensive instructions included (user manual) that are easy to follow and made the initial setup a breeze. Ecovacs has done an amazing job of simplifying the setup process for the non-technical user. Both the Deebot (vacuum) and the Omni station (base – instructions attached) require setup. The base needs to be plugged in and the clean water tank filled. The DEEBOT should be fully charged before initial use. The side brushes and mop pads can be installed at this point or left off for initial mapping of the required spaces. Once the area is mapped a 2D or 3D map is available, rooms can be identified, and zones can be setup and customized as desired. There are numerous settings available based on user preferences. Cleaning: The DEEBOT X1 simply outperforms any previous robot vacuums I have owned. The unit runs quietly, and the mopping performance far exceeded my expectations. We have a small dog that keeps us on our toes in terms of cleaning the hardwood and tile flooring and it’s now a snap. We get approximately 3-4 cleanings out of a tank and the clean up between uses is very manageable. Pros: – Easy to set up and use – ECOVACS app is user friendly and packed with features – Cleaning capabilities of the mopping function are outstanding – Great build quality and design of vacuum and base unit – Very quiet and mostly self-sufficient – Video feature – we are on the road quite often and have used this feature for checking on our home while away Cons: – The base unit works in our home, but could see it being large for smaller spaces Overall: The ECOVACS Robotics DEEBOT X1 OMNI Robot Vacuum & Mop is a top-quality product packed with valuable and user-friendly features. It’s probably the smartest “smart” device we own but is a breeze to setup and operate. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a robot vacuum with mopping capabilities.mstanleynh
I've owned several robot vacuums and I can say nothing comes close to this Ecovacs robot. I've used it for a few days now and am completely blown away with how well this robot works and how dead simple Ecovacs made the whole process. Out of the box this thing is huge. I've had one other self emptying robot vac and the base station for the X1 dwarfs my old base station. This is largely due to the fact that this base station has two massive water tanks to fill and empty the robots on board water tank used to mop hard surfaces. The robot itself is sleek and feel sturdy and very high quality. Packed with every feature imaginable, this robot really is the most advanced smart home device I've ever used. Setting the Robot up was so simple. I followed the instructions in the app, plugged in the base station, connected to wifi and used Ecovacs built in voice assistant "He Yikko" to tell the vacuum to get started. It then made it's way around my house quickly mapping out the entire house room by room. Gone are the days where you have to wait through several full vacuum cycles to get a map of your house. Within 15 minutes the app was updated with an almost perfect map of my house, it even recognized the toilet in the bathroom. After getting the map of the house, I popped on the mop brushes and sent the vac on its way cleaning my house. There were a few things I was really surprised with. The first being how quickly it made its way around my house. It was considerably faster than my old robot and still cleaned just as well if not better. The second was the X1's ability to identify changes in the floor. When you have the mop brushes on the X1 easily identifies transitions to rugs or carpets and knows not to go there and try to mop your carpet. I was also shocked at just how well it cleaned after its first full run. The first run the X1 wandered around finding every wall and moving in what fell like no logical way. But at the end it did clean the house. But every time after that this thing moved like a well oiled machine, starting at the back of the house and moving room by room making straight lines through the whole floor. I will say my floors have not looked this good in a long time. I decided to really test out the X1 by starting it without cleaning up the shoes and toys my kids left all over the house and not opening all the doors all the way. I was again shocked to watch the X1 roam through the house, dodging socks and dolls and finding its way through a half opened door to go about its business. It really only tripped up once by sucking up a white barbie dress, which to be honest is understandable. I've learned the X1's base water tank will last about 4 cycles of mopping by about 1000 sq ft of hardwood, which seems very nice. Emptying the dirty water is quick and simple and man was it full of dirty water. I have no doubt this think is cleaning after looking at the water. It really is a start and forget kind of robot that will do everything you need it to and exceed all your expectations. But the fun doesn't stop at mopping and vacuuming. The X1 has a few other little features that just add to the fun. The first being the build in voice assistant. I wasn't expecting very much, since usually proprietary voice assistants don't work as well as Google or Alexa, but this this is pretty cool. It's faster to respond than any assistant I've used and works great for getting the X1 started and has fun little features like yelling at your X1 to come clean by your feet. There is also a built in camera and speaker on the front of the X1 that lets you use the X1 like a sentry if you want it to roam your house to keep an eye on things while you are away. It's an interesting feature and a neat little addition. I can't say I've gotten a ton of use out of it, but how cool is that my vacuum has a camera. Really the only thing I had any problems with was I wanted to put cleaning solution in the water used to mop, but Ecovacs recommends you only use it's cleaning solution. Only problem is, I can't find anywhere that the cleaning solution is sold. It's not even available on Ecovacs website, which is really strange. Overall, this thing has it all. I don't think you'll find a more advanced robot vacuum, which makes sense given this things price tag. If you have the space for the massive base station, I will say you won't be disapointed.Clshipp91
SETUP/MAPPING It comes with the Deebot X1 Omni vacuum/mop robot with a plethora of sensors, two side brushes, a “floating” main brush, three wheels, and mop system attachment with pads. The top is magnetic which grants you access to the on/off switch and a cute little bagless bin that can hold 0.1 gallons with a reusable washable filter that empties automatically when the vacuum goes back to the station or manually if you want to go back to that peasant lifestyle. The Omni auto-emptying and auto-cleaning Station is large compared to other bases. As it houses a clean water tub, dirty water tub, a cleaning brush, an extra pair of mop pads, and a 3L disposable dust bag. The power cord is removeable and has a place to wrap it on the back for cable management. Both the vacuum and the base feel well built, solid, and high quality. Each of the tubs has thick plastic with rubber textured handles. Everything opens and closes easily. Along with sliding in and out of place smoothly. You can tell a TON of engineering went into every single aspect of this device. Replacement parts aren’t too expensive either which is good. They report an overall run time of 140 minutes. Which I found to be accurate on stock settings. But if you increase the suction power it is a lot less. If you run out of battery mid clean it will return to the dock, charge a bit, and then resume cleaning. They report it takes 6.5 hours to charge fully. Which is a long time, but they likely chose that to maximize the life of the battery. They say it has a max decibel range of 68 dB. I found on stock settings it was close to 50 – 60 dB and would imagine going to maximum suction would be between 60 – 68 dB. On the lid of the base, it gives you instructions on how to get started. Which pretty much says unbox everything and scan the QR which takes you to the Ecovacs HomeVac App which then walks you thought the rest of the process. Which is pairing your robot, connecting it to the internet, and doing the initial mapping that you can see in real time. They report that it uses True Mapping 2.0 which scans the home environment, quickly generates a map, plans the most efficient cleaning paths, and they guarantee less missed and repeated spots. Which I found to be accurate. Once the initial mapping was done, I fine-tuned it by adjusting my house walls, combining some rooms, labeled them, and made a few software barriers. Such as my stairs. It treats that barrier as a wall, and I haven’t had an issue with it. Overall setup time was about 30 – 40 minutes. VOICE CONTROLS: The Voice Control supports Alexa and Google Assistant. But also has a unique one called Yiko. Which you can access by saying “Ok, Yiko” and then a plethora of commands such as “begin cleaning”, “stop”, “return to dock”, “what are you doing”, “clean x”, “mop x”, “clean under table”, etc. You can say “I’m here” and through sound localization tech it will seek you out and clean around you. All of which worked well just like any modern age smart assistant. However, the robotic voice can be improved as it doesn’t sound very good. You can increase/decrease the volume through commands or via the app. And it will call out when it is doing something which I LOVE. Such as starting a clean, returning to the base, emptying the bag, cleaning the mop pads, etc. Which I really like. As that way you aren’t left wondering. For those of you concerned about privacy voice commands are saved on a server which you can go in and delete in the app. You can also turn it off if you’d like. OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE: It uses something called AIVI 3D which utilizes AI computing power, astrophotography-grade RGB camera, LiDAR, dToF sensor, autopilot technology, and human recognition to identify and detect obstacles while scanning the home and creating paths to clean even in the dark. They do report that it works better in well-lit environments. Which I found to be true but did just fine in the dark. With all this tech it does a spectacular job at avoiding objects. On the extremely rare occurrence it did suck something up it shouldn’t have it would automatically turn off the brush, lift itself up, and try to vroom off. This worked every time without intervention. There are two protective bumpers on the front, and I found it rarely bumped into anything to activate them. Even when it did it was very mild making me unconcerned about damage to the vacuum or the thing it was being rude to. It never ran into me or my dog. When it detects an object (shoes, dog toys, clothes, cords, socks, etc.) it will clean around them with a minimal barrier (maybe an inch/inch and a half) and gets even closer around tables, chairs, or walls (maybe an inch or less). It never got stuck anywhere. During the initial mapping it shimmed itself into a small crevice under a bed that was barely big enough for it to fit, went exploring, and came out the other side full of dust with a story of adventure. There is also a dresser with some weird woodwork on the bottom1SirGalahad

The CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro it is perfect for everyday messes and though ones too. Being a mom of 2 toddlers and dog mom of 2 dogs having a wet and dry vacuum takes a load of my shoulders saving me from the need of having too many gadgets for cleaning. Vacuum comes with a wet and dry function that helps through deep clean and also on the spot dirt. Bissel products has a differential in their vacuum by adding LED lights which is a big plus helping to find fur and other debris otherwise not visible without it. The CrossWave has 3 functions: Hardwood floor, Small rug area and Pet turbo clean. So it can be use anywhere in the house. I had the chance to use the 3 of them and could see the difference in cleaning, as well helping to save battery life. Now talking a bit more about the wet function, the ergonomic handle has a trigger that when pressed sprays water helping to clean even more of your house and can be used on all 3 modes mentioned before. The assembly was easy and although the first couple times I had look back at the manual, eventually I got the hand of it. The product isn't very light, but the wheels helps to maneuver with ease. Cleaning the parts was very surprising for me, as I confess I'm not the kind of person who does maintenance o in vacuum, because most of the times it is difficult to take apart, but not with the CrossWave, everything is so easy to clean and take apart that it became natural to do so after each cleaning. Another shout out is for the auto clean function which helps with better functionality eliminating any dirt that might be trapped in the tube. The box comes with two brushes and two cleaning solution, which is necessary for effective cleaning. Last but not least, different from other vacuum that the base charger needs to be mounted on the wall this one does not which simplifies my busy life. I received this wet-dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Second, the instructions point out to clean after every use (highly recommend or I've found there is an odor with use).designgal78
Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

This Christmas Cindy gave me a Roomba. I've been hectored by allergies all my life and yet we have two dogs who eject hair and dander like lawn sprinklers. Her idea was that the thing would keep the house clear of pestilential allergens. "Uh, thanks, I guess," was my enthusiastic response. There was no way this steroidal hockey puck was anything but a gimmick. I turned it on and it proceeded to recochet off the walls and furniture like a pinball. Archie the Ratter attacked, broadcasting more sinus irritants as he went into fight-or-flight mode. Undeterred, the bot skittered haphazardly over hard and carpeted surfaces and after awhile Archie and I forgot about it. A couple hours later I noticed it had docked on its little charger. I thought it was cool that it found its home after wandering aimlessly over the living room, kitchen, mudroom and central hallway. I went to empty the gizmo and was surprised to find it full of compacted dust bunnies and Archie debris. The rugs and hickory floor looked pretty good to boot. I waited a few hours and ran it again, and again the thing was full of stuff. I did this over and over until it came up empty. My rugs and hardwood floors were pristine. I ran it in the bedrooms where it wandered where we never venture – under the beds, where armies of dust bunnies gathered and hunkered over the years, regularly sending out patrols in search of my sinuses. Roomba has vanquished them. And I am a junkie. If I wasn't so lazy I'd vacuum every day. But I am lazy and don't. Roomba, on the other hand, is energetic. tireless and smart. My allergies are moderating. Now I need a lawnba, cookba, unpackallthestufffrommovingtothishouseba, robocallsba, junkmailba and enough other bas to eliminate all the annoyances of arduous American middle class life. Thank you, Cindy.
Our roomba worked great… at first. About 6 months in it started being finicky and eventually moved on to bothersome. By about the 10 month mark we were cleaning sensors, vacuuming it out, and tinkering with it non stop. At month 13 it stopped altogether and we called irobot. We wasted hours on hold, explaining and re-explaining, and even taking videos only to have them deny any help. My wife explained that we hadn't even been using it for a year because I had bought it on Black Friday and she opened it Christmas morning. They had the audacity to tell her I should have bought it closer to Christmas. They "offered" to have someone try to fix it for $130 which I have to assume was the full freight. We will be shopping with a different company.Frustrated Dad
I bought this vacuum 2 years ago. My house is a busy place where dirt is tracked in daily. This machine is used daily and has greatly increased the cleanliness of our house. Naturally it makes me very happy to have a helper that does the sweeping and vacuuming daily for me! The machine did stop charging for a while until I googled the problem. All Roomba's need the charging sensors underneath the machine cleaned and the dirt sensor under the brushes cleaned every 3 months. After cleaning the sensors (as well as vacuuming the filter) the Roomba was ready to roll. Great product that I highly recommend.esend

I bought this in 2018. It has worked less than half the time since then. I am constantly trouble shooting issues. Currently have an error 11 that I cannot seem to resolve and of course it now recommends purchasing another battery. The replacement parts have already cost a fortune to keep the thing running as little as it does and the new battery they want me to purchase is $100. Not really Inclined to spend more money trying to keep this thing running. The small amount of time it actually worked it did an ok job. Never really seemed to learn the patterns of the house and was super loud running Into everything. I had much bigger hopes than it delivered.Amy is disenchanted
So, as of this date I've tried: AnotherBrandE30; Roomba e6; Roomba 985; and Roomba i7. This Roomba e6 is the surprising winner! Frankly, Lil Bubba bounces around in an annoyingly random manner — but man he sucks up the dirt! Better than the 985, and the i7 so far as I can see. Here's the challenge: average sized home, three *curses* carpeted bedrooms. Rest of home is tile or hardwood. A long history of being owned by animals (four-legged, domesticated type). Essentially, a giant petri dish of year-round allergens. Roomba e6: Simple, hardest-working, effective. Yes, he lacks a rational mapping program. So, yes, he will bounce around seemingly randomly, to clean the space. I will say in his defense that when he finds a wall or senses an edge, he will run along it, and follow for example, a tight turn around furniture legs, etc. So there is some "logic" of a kind. But this guy is sturdy which is why I love him so. He has *never* registered "dirty sensors,* he keeps ploughing through even when his little wheels are all wrapped up in pet hair (do clean them regularly!), and never gets lost or stuck anywhere. He just works hard, returns home and docks himself. No fanfare — I LOVE MY LIL BUBBA! He cleans like a mother-on-a-mission! The first time I ran him through the master it took only ten minutes for his bin to fill (head bowed in shame). There was pet hair in there that must have been left by two pet-generations ago! He just kept at it. Keep in mind, this carpet had been "cleaned" by conventional vacuums prior to buying these irobots! Ten runs later, he had cleaned down to the underlay for the full hour! But here's the thing — because he lacks a mapping program, he works best if contained in a specific space. So, set up the sensors to keep him confined to one room at a time and he'll be fine. Probably not as effective to give him full run of the house. Did I mention I LOVE him? Lil Bubba's suck-power seems way greater (at "5x!") than the i7 (at "10x!") power.OwnedByCritters
I own a Roomba 690 and decided to give the e5 5150 a shot. Overall, thoughts are "meh". If you already have a Roomba, keep it – this seems like a re-branded 890. If it is more, they need to market it better focusing on what's "better." The Weak Points: Battery – The product description for the e5 5150 is slightly misleading. First sentence says "The auto-recharging…" does NOT mean it knows "battery is low, go back and charge, then finish the job". What it does mean is if the battery doesn't die out during the regular clean job, it'll go to the charger when it's done. So far out of 7 cleans, 3 has resulted in it going back to the charger. My 600 series lasted just as long (if not longer), so – battery is weak/not improved since my 600 series. "Wi-Fi® Connected" and "App" features are lame – you get to press a green button from your phone to start a job. That's it. No house map, no detailed job completion information, nothing. Going back to the above point about the battery dying before it goes to recharge – a neat thing is you can see on your phone, while you're at work, that the Roomba died in the middle of cleaning, isn't recharging, and you can't do anything about it remotely. The "history details" (are in quotes because they) aren't details. You get 5 data points: Date, duration of the clean, time started, status, and dirt detect count. You can't tap on any of those data points for more details, can't see a map of the house to see where it cleaned, etc. Strengths: The difference from the 600 series to this series is the better brush (no more bristles, no hair gets tangled, etc.), better filter (MUCH better, easy to clean), and lower noise (WAY quieter than the 600 series, quieter than a regular vacuum). Bottom line: If you don't own a Roomba, this is a good entry model & decent price. If you own a Roomba, keep it or save for the top of the line one that has the REAL auto-recharge feature and wifi house map feature.

I purchased this unit yesterday for the 2nd floor of my home. I have removed all of the carpet throughout and just have ceramic tile on the 1st floor and vinyl plank on the 2nd floor. Purchased this i4 for the 2nd floor and only use it in my bedroom right now. After 18 minutes of use (the time it took to vacuum my bedroom), it redocked. Decided to try out the Google command to vacuum again 15 minutes later and received error 26 that I needed to remove debris. There was next to no debris in it as I had vacuumed manually prior to the 1st run. I haven't been able to get the error to go away, even after washing out the bin and checking everything. I even tried the reboot to clear the error. Nothing works. Been trying to figure it out for hours. Shouldn't break after 18 minutes of light use!Travis
It is very convenient and I run it when I go to sleep. I set it to 45 mins to vacuum. The only think is that if there are a hay, threads that stuck on carpet, you have to help 'him' to loosen it from the carpet. Overall I m happy 'he' gets under my bed and suck/eat all the dust into 'his tummy'. Thank you for the invention. I will buy more coz 'he' saves me times to do the vacuuming chores. I have a make helper now, thanks for inventing him. I said 'him' coz I prefer male to do the housework

Reviews:
Quality of performance has clearly diminished in a short amount of time. I bought this 4 months ago and while things started out great I become less impressed by the day. Initially, it brought me unreasonable joy to watch the vacuum – we named him Carl – zip under my couch and back out. "Oh, did Carl just boop a wall and turn around? Precious. Did Carl vacuum up all he could and stop in the middle of the floor because his canister is full? Well, done, Carl." It was easy to get excited about the cool robot vacuum. I was so enchanted I didn't even care that it never connected to wifi and has never been able to map my house. When Carl runs, despite having no logical map or pattern, he does collect a good amount of pet hair and other small refuse. However, he's is really finicky about charging only when aligned very specifically on the charging prongs; as of late the vacuum never seems to have enough battery to even run through a room in my small home. Nowadays this is a waste of space on my floor, as he never charges adequately enough to actually function. Glad I picked this up as a deal of the day. Definitely not worth full price and arguably not worth the sale price either.SarahG
I have two dogs and I finally decided that I needed to add a smart robot vacuum to home. Bob is very easy to put together but setup took me longer than it should have because bob only connects with 2.4ghz wireless signals and you have to pair using an existing device. Well all of my devices are 5ghz so it did take some research to find a workaround but I did. Bob is very good at cleaning up the house but he is little taller than I thought so doesn't fit under everything and has gotten stuck a few times under the couch. When BOB doesn't get stuck he does a great job cleaning and mopping (if you have then accessory bundle) but he isn't very smart when it comes to finding his way back to the base. Almost every time he runs I have to pick him up and bring him back to the charging base which is easy but not something I thought I would have to do. Included in the accessory bundle also was no go strip, a like 4 foot long cord basically that you lay on the floor where you dont want Bob to go. Unfortunately its not long enough and you only get one so if you have multiple areas you dont want him then you will have to have those all around your house. I trip over it all the time and then it does no good at keeping BOB out. Overall BOB does a good job cleaning but I have to do a lot of prep work before each use.Mediaman55
I purchased this bObsweep vacuum (as a replacement for one of a different brand) and I have been very impressed by everything from his performance to the customer service at the bObsweep company. The main features that I love about this vacuum are: dual front brushes so it gets everything in it's path; the weight of this bOb is very light which makes lifting it easy; the profile is low enough to fit under my couch and other low-to-the-ground furniture to get all those stray dust bunnies; best of all, this vacuum comes with amazing customer service. bOb needed a new dustbin and the company sent one out to me, free of charge. At one point, my bObsweep had an issue with it's main brush. The company replaced my entire unit (again, free of charge) and in a timely manner. bObsweep's customer service is friendly, kind, and helpful! I definitely recommend this bObsweep PetHair Vision robot vacuum, it performs better than others that are above it's price point.BarbaraJayKay

Reviews:
Bobsweep is definitely like a child and needs constant watch. He is like a child in there terrible twos, always needing watching to make sure they don’t damage anything. He has no clue where he is ever going, many times just going in circles and cleaning over the same area. He is not smart and takes a long time to return to his charging base. Bob is louder then expected and considering the high price, I would have expected more features and better hardware. For the deal of the day price, bob definitely works but not ever at the full price. After only one hour of use, bob already had surface scratches all over the top of the unit from going under the furniture and getting stuck and not moving away but would just return to the same spot again. The remote for bob is huge and outdated looking for todays times. Bob does a good job at getting the little crumbs and pet hair but I would not recommend for someone who wants a vacuum to clean when they are away. I would never trust this to clean when not home as I fear it would do something stupid or get stuck and rip the carpet or just go back and forth over the same spots.Reviewer2020
I have had bob for over a year now and in that time I have had the battery replaced once. Other than that I love bob. He cleans up pet hair very thoroughly and saves me the hassle of having to do it. HE does some times get stuck but that's either because he's the perfect height to go under counters or the fact I have lips going into or from the kitchen. Haven't used the mop feature but his brushes work well. Sometimes he slams into objects but that's to be expected. He isn't perfect but definitely does a good job cleaning up pet hair. Customer service was great when I had to get the battery replaced. No complaints other than he gets stuck and sometimes can't find his charger.sweatyyetti
I've had Bob about 2 months now and i do not recommend this product. Bob has a programmable remote, but he only works when he feels like it, i have him programmed to run every afternoon Monday- Friday and he has yet to work everyday. You need to be home when he is running because he will get stuck and need redirected. Bob has no pattern, and I swear everytime he sees a pile of cat fur on the ground he turns away from it. Also he cannot get over even the slightest carpet hump. Bob never finds his way back to his charging port and he cannot even sweep my entire living room on one charge (about 45 minutes). Bob is also loud like a regular vaccuum, so he cannot run in the middle of the night for he would wake you up. Overall I do not recommend this product.sugarsnap39

Reviews:
This is my first robot vacuum and I’m very mixed on my opinion. On one hand, it seems to have great build quality, great suction, and cleans the room well. On the other, using this vacuum seems to be a lot more work that my primary traditional vacuum (also a Shark, which I love). The first thing that got me after opening the box was that it recommends That you have and area with 3 feet on each side of the base station, and 5 feet in front unobstructed for the permanent setup. I don’t have anywhere in my 2100 sq ft. house where that would work, and if I did, it would be a focal point of whatever room it was in. I did find a place with about half the recommended space, and it seems to be working fine, but one of my hopes for a robot vacuum was that it could be tucked away out of site behind a chair. The setup with the app was extremely easy and problem free. The vacuum does a great job of cleaning, but it takes a long time to complete the 400 square foot area I have it in. You also need to have the lights on when it runs. I have kids who tend to leave toys around, or even may enter the room and drop something during the 45 minutes it takes to complete the room. You need to make sure the room is completely free of obstructions, because it will just drive right over things like board games or cars if they are left out. It does do a good job of getting unstuck if it gets hung up on something. I really wanted to love this device, but I find it is just so much easier and convenient to use my regular vacuum that takes up 1’x1’ in the closet and can finish the whole room in 1/10th the time.Jlschle
I purchased this Shark EZ Robot vacuum during the Black Friday promotion. Wal-Mart offered a great price, and it had features I was excited to try, as this is my first purchase of a robot vacuum. I’ll begin my review with the good features: the vacuum does vacuum in straight rows. The suction/ cleaning ability seems overall pretty good on its first cleaning run in my home today. It’s not too noisy, which is a nice feature. And now, the negative features: the battery life on this Shark EZ Robot is terrible. I’m uncertain if I got a bad unit, or if this is common with this brand. And today is the first day of use after charging for 24 hours. I purchased this Shark EZ Robot vacuum for the 2nd floor of my home, and after vacuuming three bedrooms (closets closed) the unit went back to recharge on its base, and it’s having trouble coming up to full charge. When it tells me it’s “ready to clean” it just goes back and re-vacuums the main bedroom the unit is stored in, and then needs additional time for charging. Basically, I set a cleaning time of 1 pm today- it’s now 7:35 pm, and the master bedroom and half the hallway haven’t been vacuumed- due to poor battery life and the unit re-vacuuming the room it’s stored in, rather than beginning at the point it stopped, and finishing the “clean.” Super, super frustrating. My honest opinion would be to avoid this unit unless you have a very small area that this vacuum cleans before needing to travel back to its base to re-charge. I was so very excited to own this, but will be returning to the store.TeenBoyMom
The Self Empty Shark Ez Robot is very useful. I love that I am now a little at ease about crumbs being everywhere and happy I have a good strong Robot to help me in my cleaning needs. I am a person if I see crumbs it bugs me and I need them picked up and I always feel like when I sweep the little crumbs are still left behind. This Robot is so helpful and strong pick up in this case. There's good Suction and you are allowed to choose a strength level I do normal and max mostly if I just swept then I may just do a simple sweep with the robot. So the Max is good suction and I find it better on carpet and the floors when you haven't swept it does good on max to get the good pick up. Normal strength I do if I swept in the day and want a clean up or just in a normal situation it does great. I also have pets and so little crumbs with there food happens and even small dust of cat littler. The robot did great on pick up. I love the fact that it has a 30 day small bucket system before I need to empty saves me time. I was actually really shocked when I did empty the bucket I think I do a pretty good job sweeping and mopping, but I got lots of the dust and debris and hair pick up from the robot vacuum. I was shocked because I have 2 cats and it still did nicely on picking up everything in general. This Vacuum is easy to use and the App is great as I can do everything on my phone and customise it how I want. On the App you can do many things and see history and reports and time it how you want it to run. You can even do a schedule which is great for all situations a busy person or simple just a regular routine. This ez robot vacuum is so easy to maintenance and understand its great. Good owners guide and fast quick start guide. Simple to get started and easy to empty. I am in love with my little helper and it really does help us people who really need a clean space or comfort in knowing the floors are clean. Only thing I think can be better is getting a pet Extra strength Robot if you have pets. Overall Im so happy and satisfied with this Ez Self Cleaning, self empty robot vacuum.Cubanrican51
