20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Dry Bleached Hair (Jan 2023 Update)

I used the Hydrate shampoo, conditioner, and Color-Fanatic Leave-In spray all together, so my options are based on how these products performed with each other. Hydrate Shampoo: the first thing that I noticed about this shampoo is the smell of it. I personally think it smells slightly like Lavender, but i could be wrong about that. Overall the shampoo lathered well and i can honestly say that my hair felt clean after using it. Hydrate Conditioner: like the shampoo, the first thing i noticed about the conditioner was how it smelled, except the conditioner smelled very minty (which i am not at all complaining about). Since it was minty, it did have a tingly feeling on my scalp that i found to be nice. I left the conditioner on for about 10 minutes instead of 1-2 minutes, but i found that my hair did feel very soft afterwards. After washing my hair I followed up with the leave-in spray, but my boyfriend also tried the shampoo and conditioner and the smell from the conditioner actually stayed in his hair for a few days. Color-Fanatic Leave-In Spray: i used this spray before blow drying my hair. I found that the mist of the spray was actually perfect. I know that isn’t explaining much, but i found it to not be too think and chunky or too thin. I like all the benefits listed on the bottle even though I haven’t fully noticed all of them yet. Overall i can say I really enjoy using these three products together. My hair isn’t normally dry, but I did notice my hair feeling more hydrated and softer after these products. My hair even looked shiny, but not an oily kind of shiny, a shine that made my hair actually look healthy, which I didn’t think was even possible. I totally recommend these products if you’ve been interested in them. The price may be a little high but i found the results to be worth the price.

Long story short- I am 50 and was diagnosed with RA, and three other autoimmune diseases that caused extreme inflammation in my body. I took NAISD’s, Biologic medicine, had a few surgeries and then my naturally dry and curly, but thick healthy hair started breaking off all over!!! It felt like hay! Because of course I need to dye the gray and I use highlights. I went online and researched products. One review I read was written by a lady who said this was her last efforts to save her hair before shaving it all off! She said it worked. So I bought the set of Redken Bleach recovery and it worked! After 2 to 3 times of using it, my hair greatly improved. I have tried a few other brands since, but I am in love with this Lameller Water Treatment and must use it once a week. I use the shampoo and. Cica cream as well.

Now for a moment (or more accurately, more like several moments, as my review style tends to be on the longer and detailed side, generally) of truth for some of you who may have read my reviews on the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler I received from Influenster recently may have been waiting for – here are my current thoughts and opinions on the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, which I also recently received in my Influenster VoxBox for testing purposes in exchange for my honest and complete review. Overall, there were and are quite a number of things about this shampoo with regards to the way it works with my current (used to be different when I was younger) hair type and condition. My current hair type of relatively thin/fine, ever so *slightly* wavy when it has not been straightened, and sort of a 'combination hair' type – tending to be drier and more prone to breakage near the tips, yet more oily to regular (depending on the day, time of day, weather, my activity level that day, etc) near the top/roots/my scalp area. Some of the things I loved most so far about this after having used this shampoo for probably about seven times or so since receiving it (sometimes my hair gets so oily towards the top – in the summer particularly, that I have to wash it twice a day!) are the light and pleasant, slightly fruity smell (it makes me think strawberries, somewhat), the smoothness of the product, how nicely it lathers, and how it, in combination with the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Miracle Filler products that I also received from my box already seemed to have been making it significant difference to my hair's softness, strength, shine, and overall feeling of increased health. The main thing that I found problems *for me personally* about this shampoo, was that, while it generally has seemed to work very well for the mid-shafts to ends/tips of my hair in terms of nourishing and cleansing properties, unfortunately I found that on a number of occasions, it has not been quite cleansing or clarifying enough near my roots/scalp area for me to feel that that area of my hay was thoroughly clean – therefore, I personally had to either mix or follow up this shampoo with a different shampoo that I have found more clarifying for me personally (recently I have been using an Aussie brand shampoo – I think a volume one, but I can double check on that later). This is my genuine experience with the product so far, and I do hope it has helped you out too! My ethnicity is Asian – Chinese, specifically (my mother is from Hong Kong), and of European Jewish descent on my father's side of the family. Hopefully that may also help give you some baseline information about where my mixed-ancestry hair type originates from. This is a product that I would recommend most for people with regular to drier hair *or* for those of you who are like me with the 'combination hair' I described above, something that would be good to use on the mid-shafts to ends/tips of your hair. Love the packaging design of this in my bathroom. Brightens it up immediately and looks very pretty. However the quality of the plastic is awful and I keep hurting my hand while opening it because it’s difficult to grab the lid to open, and the edges are sharp enough that I’m worried I’ll cut myself one day. Onto the product! It smells like soy and vanilla. I wish the vanilla was more toned down. But fortunate it’s not at an unbearable level for someone sensitive to fragrance like me. As far as sulfate-free shampoos go, this lathered up decently okay (by which I mean not like completely drying) so long as you used a decent amount. Not super softened or magical but it did keep the brassiness of my bleached hair under control. For sulfate free types I think it’s alright if you like the brand and packaging.

A luxourious product, only a small amount is needed to create a smooth, creamy texture. Hair is instantly softened and moisturised. A superb product and a must have to maintain beautiful, soft, shiny, healthy hair!

This is the first step in my shampoo and conditioner routine. It’s fantastic for removing, grease and residue from product buildup without stripping the hair. It works really effectively and is very inexpensive. I’ve used this product for years and would highly recommend it for anyone with natural or chemically treated afro – caribbean hair.
