I am told by my stylist that I have fine hair but a lot of it. I was noticing that I was losing what looked like a lot of hair to me in the shower and in my brushes. I tried some different shampoos and conditioners and none seemed better than the others. I was having a particular problem with tangles when my hair was wet. I have very hard water so that is probably part of the issue. My sister has amazing hair, she grows it down to her waist and donates it to a wigs for kids program. She uses this shampoo and conditioner even though she doesn't color her hair so I tried it and it is working great for me. Detangles, my hair looks healthy, and I see less coming out in the shower and brushes. I use the shampoo and conditioner together every other day. On the in-between day I get it wet and just use a little conditioner from around where a low ponytail would be to the ends for detangling. I thought the fragrance was too strong at first but have gotten used to it now. I have tried many shampoos for my bleached blonde hair. This shampoo works amazing on my dry brittle hair. I personally think it works way better than Opalex. My hair has gotten extremely damaged from using OGX products that currently have a class action lawsuit against them for formaldehyde, cancer causing ingredients & instead of moisturizing & repairing it's drying it from the inside out, causing horrible damage you didn't see starting, until you have a ton of broken hair & even HAIR LOSS!! Now for a moment (or more accurately, more like several moments, as my review style tends to be on the longer and detailed side, generally) of truth for some of you who may have read my reviews on the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler I received from Influenster recently may have been waiting for – here are my current thoughts and opinions on the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, which I also recently received in my Influenster VoxBox for testing purposes in exchange for my honest and complete review. Overall, there were and are quite a number of things about this shampoo with regards to the way it works with my current (used to be different when I was younger) hair type and condition. My current hair type of relatively thin/fine, ever so *slightly* wavy when it has not been straightened, and sort of a 'combination hair' type – tending to be drier and more prone to breakage near the tips, yet more oily to regular (depending on the day, time of day, weather, my activity level that day, etc) near the top/roots/my scalp area. Some of the things I loved most so far about this after having used this shampoo for probably about seven times or so since receiving it (sometimes my hair gets so oily towards the top – in the summer particularly, that I have to wash it twice a day!) are the light and pleasant, slightly fruity smell (it makes me think strawberries, somewhat), the smoothness of the product, how nicely it lathers, and how it, in combination with the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Miracle Filler products that I also received from my box already seemed to have been making it significant difference to my hair's softness, strength, shine, and overall feeling of increased health. The main thing that I found problems *for me personally* about this shampoo, was that, while it generally has seemed to work very well for the mid-shafts to ends/tips of my hair in terms of nourishing and cleansing properties, unfortunately I found that on a number of occasions, it has not been quite cleansing or clarifying enough near my roots/scalp area for me to feel that that area of my hay was thoroughly clean – therefore, I personally had to either mix or follow up this shampoo with a different shampoo that I have found more clarifying for me personally (recently I have been using an Aussie brand shampoo – I think a volume one, but I can double check on that later). This is my genuine experience with the product so far, and I do hope it has helped you out too! My ethnicity is Asian – Chinese, specifically (my mother is from Hong Kong), and of European Jewish descent on my father's side of the family. Hopefully that may also help give you some baseline information about where my mixed-ancestry hair type originates from. This is a product that I would recommend most for people with regular to drier hair *or* for those of you who are like me with the 'combination hair' I described above, something that would be good to use on the mid-shafts to ends/tips of your hair. I like how my hair feels and the conditioner feels light and creamy. The smell is good. I think I’m seeing fewer flyaways and less frizz. Maybe it is actually strengthening my hair, but I’ve also been using a mini bottle of that 30 benefits leave-in spray-which I’m out of as of today. do notice my hair looking a bit greasy after just a day, but it is blonde-not color treated, and shows grease lines easily, especially since I’m back at work as a teacher spending much less time outside and there’s less sun now that it’s fall-and I’m down to a sulfate shampoo since ai didn’t receive the shampoo but I haven’t received the shampoo yet even though I ordered the duo. I want to try them all before investing in any liter bottles. Years back, my sister had me try her Nano Works in a light green bottle, and it was amazing, but that type is no longer made, and the Nano Gold is even more expensive than the others and not the same. I think this may be awesome-just the scent isn’t my favorite, but it’s really nice and so much better than anything else I have. First, a bit about my hair – so, you have a sense of comparison. My hair is straight and fine, but I have a lot of it, and it has been colored for years and years … everything from fashion colors to varying highlights to my current platinum hair. Basically, my hair was damaged, weak, and tired, my ends were incredibly dry, and, at one point, I even had massive breakage (as in clumps of hair breaking off when I brushed my hair – see photo). I have tried, what feels like, every single hair product known to man from supplements to specialized shampoo and conditioner to leave in conditioners to various oils – you get the idea (you can see some of those products in the background of the photo). So, I was a bit skeptical to try yet another “repair” shampoo, but I am thrilled that I did. Within the product description it states that the shampoo “instantly repairs and shows results after just one use” … well, that statement is true, at least for me. Normally when I wash my hair, after I rinse the shampoo, my ends still have texture to them (they still feel dry); however, after using the combination of BOTH the shampoo and conditioner, my ends felt as smooth as the rest of my hair. Honestly, I have not felt that smooth texture on my ends in years and years. I love that the formula contains less than 1% of synthetic fragrances (though it smells great), is 100% vegan and doesn’t contain parabens or Sulfates SLS or SLES. Yes, the price might seem high, however, you must consider that the shampoo is so highly formulated that one bottle allows for over 75+ shampoos … that’s right, 75+! This shampoo & conditioner did more for my hair in one single wash than any other product has done, period. My hair is much healthier and stronger singly handily because of this shampoo and conditioner. I decided to try this during a Ulta jumbo sale. I have tried and loved the Its a 10 leave in treatments so i was excited to try this. Its a good shampoo. Leaves my hair soft and clean without weighing it down. Its a pretty thick gel consistency though so you have to work it a tad in your hands before putting it on your hair. It lathers nicely as well and smells good. Only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because it doesn't add as much volume as i hoped for but then again i have pretty thin hair. I have tried every purple shampoo imaginable. I have been platinum (white) blonde for 7 years now and always have had banding between my roots and grow-out. I go to the salon every 4-5 weeks religiously and only wash twice a week but have always had the banding issue. Not with this shampoo! I got this product due to a lot of good reviews. I use professional purple shampoo but ran out so figured id give this a go. MISTAKE. After 3 uses my hair is falling out in huge clumps, like cleaning your hairbrush once a month clumps. It's horrible! The smell is so chemical smelling and when trying to wash it out my hair felt like straw and I couldn't even put my fingers through it!!! I had to add conditioner on top of the shampoo just to be able to break through and wash the shampoo out. Worst mistake and I'm taking it back to ulta. Why is this product even a best seller? Be careful and mindful when purchasing this do your research on the ingredients and what is used to make this product work as I wasn’t aware it would quit literally strip my hair of thousands of dollars worth of work away from my hair …. this product has like a lightning agent in it as it bleached my roots and made my hair super ugly …. and quit literally damaged your hair it did this in as little as 3 minutes for me … so be careful not sure who this product work for ? Or why or what it’s intent is ?? but I thought it was a toner but it does the opposite it like strips / bleached ur hair leaving more work to be done … and patches !! so for the past around 8 years I've been using Shimmer Lights, since everyone would recommend that to me. Recently I tried Matrix purple shampoo, which worked the same way as shimmer lights. Where if you leave it on too long, you get purple hair… and I thought that was the case with all purple shampoo. Until I watched a Brad Mondo video and he reviewed this shampoo and it looked great in the video. But was it in real life…? My hair is a little yellow too after the bleach, which the shimmer lights, would just turn it to purple, which I thought was better then yellow. Finally tried this shampoo, and it takes a couple uses, esp since I had tinted purple hair as well. But it became a nice white platinum color as stated. Which was super shocking to me, that it never left any tint of purple, no matter how long it was on for. Brad mondo, referred to the scent as candy, i would say it's more of a floral scent. I was so keen to try this product as I wanted a sulphate free shampoo to help define my naturally wavy/curly hair. After the first wash I instantly saw results with less frizz and more curls! But after the second wash my hair didn’t feel clean as the shampoo really struggles to lather up to cover the whole scalp. I was having to shampoo twice and used a lot of product. I then felt I had to wash my hair after a couple of days as it felt really dirty and greasy with a build up of product, I have thick hair and would usually wash my hair twice a week so had to go back to my old shampoo. I also used with the curl conditioner and styling crème which were great and work really well and I have kept using them. If they make some changes to this product then I’ll definitely come back to it.Emily

No matter what other products I may cycle through, I use this every time I wash my hair and always have backups on hand! I'm a natural golden blonde, but my new growth can get dull in the winter when not exposed to sunlight as often, or with general buildup that we all get on our hair. This effectively cleanses my hair without making it feel stripped, while also providing juuuust the tiniest bit of extra lightening every wash! Pro tip: only the shampoo in this line contains an actual chemical lightening agent, not the conditioner, so this is all you need to see the effect. But it's such a low concentration, and rinsed out so much more quickly than salon lightening, that it will only ever be a subtle change. I have been using the Unite 7 Seconds leave in conditioner for a few years. Normally I purchase it at a local salon but found this deal on Groupon so I decided to give it a try. It does not smell right. In fact, it smells pretty terrible. I m not sure if it is a counterfeit product or just sat on a shelf too long but it is definitely not the same as the product I purchased in the salon. Unfortunately there are no refunds/exchanges on this product so I may just throw it away because if it s not the real deal, I m not sure what it might do to my hair. Big bummer.
I have very fine hair that is highlighted. After washing my hair with Boosta shampoo and conditioner, I spritz this on. Great results with volume and beachy waves that hold. Docked a star because the smell is a bit strong on the harsher side – almost like pickles! It doesn't seem to make my hair smell but it's a bit rough when it is sprayed. I would totally buy it again and have already recommended it to anyone with ears and gray or highlighted or blonde hair! I received this product in exchange for a review. This product works pretty well but not out of the ballpark amazing. I am 6 months pregnant right now and currently have a hard time keeping up on my platinum blonde hair. That being said thai product is pretty concentrated and does it's job pretty well for the ends of my hair that are still very much blonde. I really don't like the smell of this shampoo I think it is overwhelmingly resemblance of being in a salon and am pretty glad the scent does not continue far beyond the rinse. As for if it improved my hair structure I would say I didn't see any improvement there at all but I still have a full bottle despite using it daily. The yellow tone though is pretty much gone though. I would recommend it if it were drastically price cut because the price tag associated with this product is way too high in my opinion I've used other products under 10 dollars with the same results that you can easily pick up at your local store.Hefaroni26
I know the going trend is purple/grey platinum blonde, which I don't think this would be the best for, but if u want to keep your warmth without being brassy, this works better than any purple shampoos I've used. I have a lot of Irish heritage, pale skin and eyes, lots of light freckling in sun touched spots and firey red and gold inside my naturally brown follicles that shines very brightly in sun light. The warmth has become more pronounced with age and even the stripes of brunette that are left untouched after doing lightening balayage are a redening chestnut/auburn. the warm blonde really compliments my coloring so I'm not complaining, I just don't want it to be too yellow or too brassy. all of the other purple shampoos I have tried made my hair look almost green, even redken which I read was specifically recommended by experts for warm blondes, and it didn't matter how quick I rinsed it out after applying,, it clashed with my hair coloring so badly.. I hated it. I was so thrilled to try this and find it actually worked perfectly, no brassy-ness or ugly yellow, just perfectly golden honey warm blonde and auburn/chestnut. I love ash blonde and the purple tinted platinum but this happy accident of a warm hair color works better on me than I'd have imagined and I'm so thrilled to find a way to maintain it. idk about it being drying like some others said, I've found all purple shampoos to be a little drying, I assumed because they lather so well and also I do a pre-wash so there's no product impeding it. having color treated hair, I always add lots of super conditioning products, hydraters and proteins treatments before I'm done on wash day and also being a warm blonde, I only use purple shampoo once a month, preferably when it's time for a clarifying cleanse and I do an oil treatment the night before. So my hair was damaged from bad salon experience and left there with blonde hair alright but also alotta my hair falling out too…. More than I should’ve had. I’ve had it done before I know what’s normal and not for this process but it Has taken me months and months to regain some of the structure and strength back but only from using products like this. I have huge blonde hair care regiment but recently was sent this samples from Pinchme.com and I fell in love with this product the moroccanoil blonde perfecting shampoo and conditioner color care. I could tell after one use the different in my strands as far as they felt fuller softer and a lot stronger too. I have already purchased my own and is in its way in the mail as we speak. But I can’t say enough about the shampoo seriously the strength added to my hair after using and the toning feature was amazing. I have different depths of blonde and I felt that this made those lighter money pieces that perfect icy I’ve been looking for + strengthening in other product and only found here. Others I have to use separate product .. with moraccanoil u get it all in one tube!! Smell is beautiful the product color is rich purple and it won’t leave ur hair heavy or with residue. But clean and healthy feeling. I used as shampoo then rinsed … swueeze out all water from hair with hands and reapply from front hair line back to ur ends and massage thru without sudsing up the product and leave set for 10/15 minutes depending on how porous ur hair is. (Do this for more toning effect) Mines was needing toned again and is pretty porous so I left in longer… but not too long. Anyhow I’d recommend to anyone who has chemically treated and or damaged hair needing give it some TLC. Price is fair considering other brand and they dint work as well as this one trust me.. I’ve wasted a lot of money trying to find the right ones to maintain my blond locks!! Also I left my conditioner in for about 5minutes too. But my hair is very dry of course. Thus those luxurious healing oils in moroccanoil products… u get more strength tans healing from them than any other!! I think this is the combo for me! Today is my first day using the Moroccanoil Purple Shampoo and the Moroccanoil Purple Conditioner, and here's my thoughts: Both the shampoo and conditioner have a rich purple color, which is nice since most conditioners I've tried in the past are much lighter in color compared to their shampoo counterpart. Both smell really nice, too. I left the shampoo in for about 5 minutes, rinsed, and then I left the conditioner in for probably 5+ minutes before I rinsed with cold water. This is the best toning combination I've ever tried. After one use, I can definitely tell the difference in less brassiness. I wouldn't recommend leaving both products in as long as I did, however – I purposely did so to see if I could get a dramatic result, and a few strands have a very light violet/gray tone to them, which I love! I will definitely be buying both the shampoo and conditioner soon since I think both will help keep my hair healthy and a nice shade of blondechopper923
It has got rich, creamy and lathering texture, don’t need to use a lot of product and it lathers through the hair well. The colour is brightly deep purple and pigmented. The scent feels a bit strong during washing but after washing and through the day hair smell nice, refreshed and fragrance is mild. After washing hair is easy to brush but once hair is dry combing is a bit harder, hair feels dry and like straws therefore it causes some hair breakage. There is much difference in hair tone, hair looks much brighter, shiner, radiant, lighter and improved in colour. On the second day hair still feels clean and fresh in scent, however I have noticed that this shampoo dries out hair and strips off it’s natural moisture. Another minus for this product that it stains under nails and some dry skin areas which takes time to wash off. I would not use this product frequently but occasionally (once a week or once in two weeks). But I would definitely recommend for colour improvement, brightening and lightening dullness in colour.irina.g

Typically my hair uses up A LOT of conditioner, and this particular conditioner seems to last me a lot longer than other brands I've used. A little bit goes a long way on nourishing all of your hair. l thought l would try Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo and Conditioner which is formulated for color-treated hair. l started using over a week ago and I’m just not liking it. You get what you pay for, its cheap and doesn’t lather up all that well, rinses out fine. My hair is reasonably manageable to comb through whilst wet but not great. Especially when it can be avoided and get more natural and blended results simply by applying this shampoo after you rinse the bleach out and letting it sit for a few minutes before rinsing out. It works the same way as the toner your stylist would charge an arm and a leg for to tone your blonde at a salon. Immediately after rinsing the bleach from your hair, while it's still wet, apply the shampoo and keep a constant eye on it. Check your color every minute or so until you get the shade your trying to achieve, then rinse throughly followed by a deep conditioning treatment. Even if you don't get all the brassiness out the first time, give your hair a break to let the follicles close for a few days then use it to tone your hair again. But be warned, this product works FAST. Once your hair is the desired shade and free of brassiness, this shampoo with start to tint your hair purple if left on for more than a minute or so. But nothing works better to neutralize any orange or brassiness out of your hair. Now for a moment (or more accurately, more like several moments, as my review style tends to be on the longer and detailed side, generally) of truth for some of you who may have read my reviews on the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler I received from Influenster recently may have been waiting for – here are my current thoughts and opinions on the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, which I also recently received in my Influenster VoxBox for testing purposes in exchange for my honest and complete review. Overall, there were and are quite a number of things about this shampoo with regards to the way it works with my current (used to be different when I was younger) hair type and condition. My current hair type of relatively thin/fine, ever so *slightly* wavy when it has not been straightened, and sort of a 'combination hair' type – tending to be drier and more prone to breakage near the tips, yet more oily to regular (depending on the day, time of day, weather, my activity level that day, etc) near the top/roots/my scalp area. Some of the things I loved most so far about this after having used this shampoo for probably about seven times or so since receiving it (sometimes my hair gets so oily towards the top – in the summer particularly, that I have to wash it twice a day!) are the light and pleasant, slightly fruity smell (it makes me think strawberries, somewhat), the smoothness of the product, how nicely it lathers, and how it, in combination with the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Miracle Filler products that I also received from my box already seemed to have been making it significant difference to my hair's softness, strength, shine, and overall feeling of increased health. The main thing that I found problems *for me personally* about this shampoo, was that, while it generally has seemed to work very well for the mid-shafts to ends/tips of my hair in terms of nourishing and cleansing properties, unfortunately I found that on a number of occasions, it has not been quite cleansing or clarifying enough near my roots/scalp area for me to feel that that area of my hay was thoroughly clean – therefore, I personally had to either mix or follow up this shampoo with a different shampoo that I have found more clarifying for me personally (recently I have been using an Aussie brand shampoo – I think a volume one, but I can double check on that later). This is my genuine experience with the product so far, and I do hope it has helped you out too! My ethnicity is Asian – Chinese, specifically (my mother is from Hong Kong), and of European Jewish descent on my father's side of the family. Hopefully that may also help give you some baseline information about where my mixed-ancestry hair type originates from. This is a product that I would recommend most for people with regular to drier hair *or* for those of you who are like me with the 'combination hair' I described above, something that would be good to use on the mid-shafts to ends/tips of your hair. I like how my hair feels and the conditioner feels light and creamy. The smell is good. I think I’m seeing fewer flyaways and less frizz. Maybe it is actually strengthening my hair, but I’ve also been using a mini bottle of that 30 benefits leave-in spray-which I’m out of as of today. do notice my hair looking a bit greasy after just a day, but it is blonde-not color treated, and shows grease lines easily, especially since I’m back at work as a teacher spending much less time outside and there’s less sun now that it’s fall-and I’m down to a sulfate shampoo since ai didn’t receive the shampoo but I haven’t received the shampoo yet even though I ordered the duo. I want to try them all before investing in any liter bottles. Years back, my sister had me try her Nano Works in a light green bottle, and it was amazing, but that type is no longer made, and the Nano Gold is even more expensive than the others and not the same. I think this may be awesome-just the scent isn’t my favorite, but it’s really nice and so much better than anything else I have. First, a bit about my hair – so, you have a sense of comparison. My hair is straight and fine, but I have a lot of it, and it has been colored for years and years … everything from fashion colors to varying highlights to my current platinum hair. Basically, my hair was damaged, weak, and tired, my ends were incredibly dry, and, at one point, I even had massive breakage (as in clumps of hair breaking off when I brushed my hair – see photo). I have tried, what feels like, every single hair product known to man from supplements to specialized shampoo and conditioner to leave in conditioners to various oils – you get the idea (you can see some of those products in the background of the photo). So, I was a bit skeptical to try yet another “repair” shampoo, but I am thrilled that I did. Within the product description it states that the shampoo “instantly repairs and shows results after just one use” … well, that statement is true, at least for me. Normally when I wash my hair, after I rinse the shampoo, my ends still have texture to them (they still feel dry); however, after using the combination of BOTH the shampoo and conditioner, my ends felt as smooth as the rest of my hair. Honestly, I have not felt that smooth texture on my ends in years and years. I love that the formula contains less than 1% of synthetic fragrances (though it smells great), is 100% vegan and doesn’t contain parabens or Sulfates SLS or SLES. Yes, the price might seem high, however, you must consider that the shampoo is so highly formulated that one bottle allows for over 75+ shampoos … that’s right, 75+! This shampoo & conditioner did more for my hair in one single wash than any other product has done, period. My hair is much healthier and stronger singly handily because of this shampoo and conditioner. This is the first purple conditioner I have ever tried that is actually hydrating. Purple hair care products are often so stripping and drying (in my past experience). I bought this yesterday and washed my hair and it was soft and super shiny. Dampened my hair the next day and blow dryer it and it is fantastic! My color is so vibrant! For those that reviewed and don't see any highlighting results could be because of build up if you use a lot of products. I haven't tried it but maybe do the Sunday shampoo and then the Blonde shampoo. I am multiracial and color my own hair and this has worked wonders. I love this brand anyways. It never fails! I am a big Bumble and Bumble fan so naturally I was very excited to see they now have a purple line for blondes. I’ve tried a ton of purple shampoos over the years and this one is good! It smells good and the smell lingers for a while. It’s also the perfect richness as far as color goes. Lots of purple shampoos aren’t dark enough and therefore don’t do a good job at actually cancelling out the brass. Not this one! I think you get a good amount of product for the price. My only complaint is that it does leave my hair feeling a bit on the dry side which is very typical for a purple shampoo. I see that they also have a conditioner in the purple line that I will be grabbing next to hopefully fix that problem. Since most shampoos and conditioners work best as a system, I’ll bet that help! The smell.of this shampoo is amazing. The size of the 250ml one as well is quite generous, so though it's a bit pricier pricier other well known purple shampoos, it will last me a lot longer so not much difference in the end, and has better results. Also I find the cheaper brands to be quite drying to your hair, something bleached blonde people like myself definitely do not need. This leaves hair, soft, easy to manage and style and am really impressed with toning results from it. Did stain my nails slightly for like half a day, so maybe would say use gloves. I have dyed dark brown shoulder length hair. I have used Fudge purple toning shampoo in the past, which has worked reasonably well. I decided to try Fudge Blue toning shampoo after researching blue toner.I have used Fudge Blue toning shampoo for my last 3 toning washes I use every other hair wash, using my normal colour shampoo conditioner at other times. I decided to try the 50ml sample size of blue shampoo to try before committing to a full 250ml sized bottle.I have found the blue shampoo removes the more orange red tones from hair, leaving my hair with more natural brown colouring. I do also use the blue conditioner at the same time I use the toning shampoo.I would definitely recommend wearing gloves I use cheap disposable ones, as this shampoo will stain your nails cuticles. I havent found it stains my white bathroom tiles or the grout. I tend to give my hair a quick first was through, then on the second wash, allow the toner to work for 34 minutes, rinse through and apply the conditioner as normal.I have had no issues with either the shampoo or conditioner leaving my hair in poor condition, or drying my hair out. I am pleased enough with the product, that I have now purchased the full 250ml sized bottle of blue toning shampoo conditioner.Anonymous
I have tried so many purple shampoos even olaplex and I cant help but feel that they all make your hair feel a little dry to some extent. I dont feel like this with the fudge one and I end up coming back to it time and time again. I dont think you need to use loads to make a difference and the bottle lasts me a while and I have long hair. Actually, I never noticed a smell, so Idk what the other reviewers are talking about. It works. That's the important bit. It cleans your hair and it adds that purple tint so the red is neutralized and your hair is as ash as could be and even slightly purple. It's strong stuff! As such, it's a slow pump. That, I find annoying, but ultimately it aids in my not wasting product. A little goes a long way with Bed Head products. I would even say it's safe and possibly advisable to "cut" this with water or a cheaper product laying around, especially if you crave lather and bubbles. It still works even when cut.Creirwy
Wow! This shampoo really impressed me❣💜 I wasn't expecting too drastic of a toning effect from this but was surprised. Ulta had it on sale for half off, and I just wanted to try something different than my usual stuff. My hair is light brown with blonde highlights so this helps give the highlights more shine and depth. My hair literally gleams when the sun hits it. I have tried another toning shampoo in the past from Tigi (Catwalk Violet shampoo) and that one also was amazing, but harder to find now. This one is just as great though, if not better! Light citrusy scent, nothing crazy. It lathers well and my hair stays oil free for at least 2 days after shampooing. Overall I would totally buy this again recommend 😊becca.v
The only reason I gave it one star is because of the smell, it actually smells good. I had seen some reviews stating this shampoo was bad but since it had more positive reviews I decided to give it a try and OMG what a big mistake!.. I used it for about a month, and by the time I decided to stop using it my hair was completely destroyed!. I have chemical treated hair but this is supposedly made for my type of hair, well it dried my hair so much, like no other shampoo ever before. It lathers up really well and you don't have to use a lot, so I didn't use much of the bottle. But every time I used it I noticed how my hair was so dried afterwards, even when using the reconstructor (which btw was so hard to get out of the bottle). I even tried using a leave in conditioner but nothing worked. And surprisingly as soon as I stopped using it my hair went back to normal (in about a week). To understand where I'm coming from, let me tell you that I have LONG, naturally blonde, unbelievably thick and dry hair. My hair has always been my favourite physical aspect of myself. I brought these for my very blonde hair to repair what bleach does to all blonde hair! My hair isn't particularly damaged and is very good condition but thought would be nice to keep it that way! These are thick, they smell awful and they make your hair feel really greasy! Tried it a few times as i was convinced it must be me leaving some in my hair after washing and I've also tried on my daughters natural blonde hair! I wouldn't buy again!

I've been using this for about 2 weeks now. Just within the past 2-3 washes I've noticed that my hair feels like it has a build up of residue left over from the shampoo. I've rinsed my hair repeatedly and even used my shampoo brush while rinsing to make sure it's all out. I've never had this issue with any shampoo I've used. I've been using this product for the the last month or so and I can tell a HUGE difference in my hair. Top things I noticed was how soft my hair felt after blow drying it. I naturally have very coarse hair and after one use my hair felt so silky. Also being a blonde it definitely helped me maintain that color in between getting highlights. I use the cool blondes conditioner as well and that definitely made a difference in the color of my hair. Lastly I would say the smell!! After using it and blow drying and straightening my hair I typically don't have any sort of shampoo smell to my hair, and I totally did. Even after a couple days without washing my hair I could still smell it. Also for the price I feel like this product is such a steal. New favorite for sure!!!Coll
I love the BLONDME products. I used the lilac and strawberry pastel wash to add a pop of color to my curly unit and after washing it all out, I applied the bonding conditioner then the shine serum, leaving me with amazing results. These products left my hair silky and smooth with a pop of red/purple color added to complete the look. Also my curls are super defined after using the products. The John Frieda Go Blonder Shampoo works best when combined with the conditioner but can also be used alone if you can’t part ways with your conditioner. Although it is meant for everyday use, the product can leave your hair dry or add damage to your hair. No matter what other products I may cycle through, I use this every time I wash my hair and always have backups on hand! I'm a natural golden blonde, but my new growth can get dull in the winter when not exposed to sunlight as often, or with general buildup that we all get on our hair. This effectively cleanses my hair without making it feel stripped, while also providing juuuust the tiniest bit of extra lightening every wash! Pro tip: only the shampoo in this line contains an actual chemical lightening agent, not the conditioner, so this is all you need to see the effect. But it's such a low concentration, and rinsed out so much more quickly than salon lightening, that it will only ever be a subtle change. (And I'm not even sure it would do anything to hair darker than a level 7 or so…) You literally can't mess it up. With consistent use, this keeps my natural blonde looking bright and sun-kissed, like I just came back from vacation, even in the deepest darkness of a Midwestern winter. I have been using this shampoo for a really long time, about 2 years. I am a natural blonde, I have never dyed my hair. Over the years, my blonde hair was getting darker and darker. As I didn't want to dye my hair, I was looking for different cosmetics to lighten and emphasize my blonde color. For me, this shampoo is a bull's eye. It is true that the price scares me off a bit, but I am always looking for a promotion for it. The shampoo dries the hair. Therefore, in my opinion, it is not suitable for everyday use, even with a dedicated conditioner. Initially, I only used it twice a week because I was afraid to use it more often. After about a month of use, I noticed lightening of the hair, but it was natural, which I really liked. After this time, I also reduced the frequency of using the shampoo to one per week. That's enough for me. The hair does not get damaged like that, and the lightening effect lasts. For the shampoo, I also bought a hair brightening spray and a conditioner from the same company. I am a 69 year old blonde with graying hair that is very fine. I have been using this shampoo for a year now and absolutely love what it does for my hair. I stopped getting it colored about three years ago and I've got to say since I started using this shampoo, I have been getting plenty of compliments on my hair color. I've used this conditioner for several years and I love it. I have very thick hair that gets lots of knots and tangles. I put this conditioner on in the shower and use a wet/dry brush to comb it through my hair. After rinsing it out, my hair is silky smooth with no tangles. I don't need much conditioner so a large bottle lasts a long time.Jani
