Don’t try to brush or comb it after it sets, trust me.. just don’t! It can leave some white stuff when you spray but that’s easily remedied by smoothing with hands. Reminds me of dry shampoo in that way. It is a little hard to wash out, I had to shampoo twice but I think that has more to do with having a ton of product in my hair from multiple days of re-styling. Y’know, these hair products are varied and it takes time and trials to find just the right product for you. This product works great for me. My hair is very fine but very dense. By that I mean each hair is silky and fine but there are tons of them. The liquid version of this is good too but gives a firmer result. I often combine them a bit. A little, like dime-sized dollop works great on my relatively short haircut. Not very expensive and it works well for me. I hope it works the same for you!DC
I used to love this product and I've used it for years. Like another customer review on here, I also think the product has changed and for the worse, unfortunately. The other review was from the UK, but I'm in the USA and I'm seeing a change as well. I've tried two different retailers and both purchases had the same quality issues. It used to be more solid to the touch and now it is much more gooey. It doesn't hold my hairstyle nearly as well as it used to. I was debating between one or two stars but decided on 1 as I would not recommend this anymore and there are better fibers out there.Sean

So happy when I found Griots in the stores. I used to be a long time mail order user. Much easier and quicker….unfortunately this stuff is so popular it sells out quickly. Use paint correction to fix swirl marks, best in show wax. After every wash dry the car and used this product to add the finishing touch. Easy, fast and will keep your freshly waxed appearance longer than without.
I wanted to try a modern wax product on my new CX5. I did not want to use standard paste wax because I did not want to cause any light scratches on the black metallic paint. And my wife had been saying her car was not as shiny as some others. I bought this without research because it’s Griot’s. It is a little tricky to put on and you need to watch for streaking but once you get the hang of it the end result is very good with a lot less effort than a paste wax. Over the years I've bought California Gold a few times, the spray version is not my favorite to say the least. It might be great on new cars but on my 19y.o Camaro SS the results I get are intermediate. My paint is not faded in any way but it did pick up some slight roughness over the years, I don't get enough penetration from the spray…. After a good wash and use of this spray my baby looks phenomenal but after 2 or 3+ days the shine disappears and micro "things" in the air start to attach to the paint again, specially if you don't drive much like me and the car is parked next to passing traffic even if in a driveway…..it will be dusty after several days. If you drive everyday it works a lot better and keeps the perfect shine for longer. I've gotten similar results with both dry and wet car paint which is a big plus but the bond is just not as good as the Carnuba cream wax from Mother's. 4-stars ! Updating to 5-stars, if you do it right and clay the car 1st it will look INSANE and stay like that for weeks, it's faster to apply then the butter version (video & pics show the results of a wash, Mother's clay bar, wash, dry and this Spray Wax).K.
I've switched to this wax from the Mother's Instant Detailer, and I use it every time I wash the car. It doesn't provide as lasting a shine as traditional waxes that are rubbed on and left to dry, but it only takes about 10 minutes to do the whole car, and the results are impressive. I use one microfiber cloth to spread the product after lightly spraying a section, followed immediately by a second dry microfiber cloth to buff the wax. I use very little product, just a light spray does the trick, so this 24-oz bottle goes a long way. Like all waxes, it should only be applied to a clean car, and it won't remove surface dirt or finish imperfections – that's what Mother's Clay Bar is for! Also, this wax does not leave any white residue on black plastic trim, so any overspray on trim is no problem, just wipe it off. Highly recommended!T.

I am a Sumo Wax X-user. I love Sumo Wax!! Why did you stop making Sumo Wax? I do use the Liquid Wax now along with many,many Bumble products daily, this spray Liquid Wax is the closest thing I have found to Sumo Wax. Play with it!! It has very similar properties to Sumo Wax. I liked this product when I had long hair with layers, but I LOVE it now that I cropped it all chin length with curls. It doesn’t keep an ironclad hold, but it’s still perfect for that tousled, “my hair just air-dries like this” rockstar look that I am gunning for. I love that I can mess my hands in my hair throughout the day and it doesn’t feel crusty or make the strands look weird and bendy. After reading the reviews on this product, I feel the need to come to its defense. I'll caveat this by saying that I've never used the original sumowax, so I can't compare this product to that one, but I do notice that most the negative reviews are from people who are upset that sumowax was discontinued. I think this product does exactly what the description states. It gave me some addition texture and separation to my ends while adding a light sheen and taking away any frizz/puffiness. For reference, I have straight, thick, medium length hair and I used this product in my mids to ends by spraying into my hand fist and then distributing into my hair.Krakmonke9

I received a sample of this product and fell in love. I have straight hair that is naturally silky. My hair is typically so slick that it's difficult to curl or style and it lays pretty flat on my hair. After blow drying I can give my hair a few blasts of spray clay and then style away. The style will stay all day, if it's straight with lifted roots, curls, or a voluminous french twist with modern texture. My mom and boyfriend said my hair looked professionally styled, all because of this product. I had been using dry shampoo for a similar effect but I hated the white powder and strong smells that different dry shampoos left. This product has a somewhat strong smell when you first spray it but I don't feel the smell lingers on my hair. Even if it did, my hair looks to good for me to care.No more flat limp hair!
