Best Wet Vacuum Cleaner For Hardwood Floors (2025 Update)

The concept of this mop is excellent. In order to offer a thorough review I am going to break it down into cons and pros. Pros: 1. Dual tanks: As opposed to other mops, like the Spinwave mop, this mop comes with dual tanks. This idea is great because there is a tank with clean water continuosly providing water to the roller while the other tank collects the dirty water created as the mop cleans your floor. This is a major plus because you are no longer spreading the dirt all around your floors. 2. Three rollers: The fact that 3 rollers are included it makes it really easy to continue using this mop even if one roller is out of service because it's drying. 3. Light weight: The mop is light in weight and it's easy to maneuver throughout my hardwood floors. 4. Built-in Screen: It's nice to have a screen that displays the battery percent remaining as you mop the floors. As it goes down it kind of rushes you to finish the job. LOL 5. Mop and vacuum cleaner combined: This thing can mop and vacuum at the same time. It's great if you want to go straight into mopping without vacuuming. Down side to this is that you will have to clean the dirty water tank and it's not fun. Cons: 1. Price: At $400, I think this mop is too expensive. I was lucky enough to get it when it was on sale for a fraction of the cost. At the price point I bought it, it's a steal. 2. Edges cannot be mopped: This mop will not be able to mop the edges around your house due to how the mop was designed. It leaves about 1 cm or 2 of the hardwood unmopped. I haven't seen a real issue with this but I know some people get upset about this. I have a Roomba J7+ that vacuums the edges real well so I am not really worried about it. Plus, the edges do not get really dirty, it's not a high traffic area. 3. Small tanks: While the concept of dual tanks is awesome, their size is really not. If you are planning to mop around 1,500 Sq. Ft at a time you may have to refill the clean water tank and also discard the water in the dirty water tank at least once. 4. Cleaning the dirty water tank: This mop offers the dual feature of vacuuming and mopping all at once. It's great if you don't want to vacuum before mopping but just keep in mind that YOU will be the one responsible for cleaning the dirty water tank. The tank can get really nasty and you may not like what you see. Thankfully I have a Roomba and I always let it vacuum first before I mop. 5. Battery life: I put this as a con because the battery only lasts for about 35 minutes. If you are wanting to mop a house that is 2,500 Sq. Ft or higher you have to take a long break to let this thing charge again. I would definitely suggest this company to add a bigger battery or offer a fast charging station like Ego does. It would be nice to get back to cleaning within an hour as opposed to waiting for at least 5 full hours.Buenascompras

As someone who owns a home with mostly hardwood floors, small amounts of carpets, and a large number of rugs, I've definitely struggled to find the best and most versatile cleaning solutions. The Floor One S3 is the closest I've come yet to floor cleaning bliss. Things I liked about it: Tidy package with the dock, holds most of the parts and accessories, and you don't have to plug in to charge it, there are contacts in the dock that do this for you. Extra brush roller Self Cleaning mode when you dock Voice announcements for what it's doing as it cleans/changes modes iLoop tells you when it detects dirty floors Things I didn't like as much (Opportunities) HEAVY for it's size Battery life is shorter than expected for the size Auto Mode tends to use more water than I would expect Does this really need wifi? Clean water tank is even smaller/shorter use time than the battery life Doesn't sneak in under things as nimbly as you might hope Voice announcements will definitely need to be shut off, or at least reduced in volume This vac-mop is quite hefty for it's somewhat compact looking size, and is definitely bottom weighted design. The cleaning power and abilities are the best I've seen yet from a vac mop, and I have been zipping it out just to have the satisfaction of cleaning up a particular mess or dust bunny. On the flip side, I feel like I can watch the battery level drop by the second as I use it, and it doesn't quite do my entire main floor of hardwood/tile. The clean water tank seems like I'm constantly filling it. Reading the manual is NOT optional, as you need to know how often to manually clean what. The iLoop display is informative, and I found I was able to charge it up and start using it immediately. I love it, I'm not going back, also I'll keep waiting or the perfect solution, but until then, I'm using this one.dronedad

The Tineco = Floor One S3 Extreme Wet/Dry Hard Floor Cordless Vacuum impressed us both on its very first use. The assembly amounts to snapping the handle into place and putting the clean water tank into place. and that's it! The loop on the handle points forward and where you put it in the machine has a matching groove for the little protrusion on the handle bottom front side so you can't put it on wrong. Plug it in to charge up, add one capful of the enclosed Tineco cleaning/disinfecting solution and go read the book while it charges. It talks to you! Letting you know what its doing or that you need to do to it and its display ring turns from red to blue as to let you know the area that you are cleaning is clean. The voice assist can be turned off if not desired at the time or not desired at all. It's really lightweight and relatively quiet and on normal dirt and dust days it is even self – cleaning.! Just put it back in the charging base and hit the self – cleaning button and it cleans the roller for you. Of course you still have to dump and clean the dirty water tank and filter yourself. And speaking of dirty water we were very surprised at exactly how dirty the water was. I dry mop daily and wet mop when it needs it or at least every other week but the Tineco picked up so much more than that method. It left us with very clean, mopped and vacuumed and shiny vinal and sealed hardwood floors in the time it takes to vacuum only otherwise. Now after a big mess such as spaghetti'o's or something you may have to manually clean the tank and roller but that is an easy task as well. Personally we will generally clean up major messes with paper towels before attempting to use this or anything else before we had this. It can also be used in suction mode only where needed or required. As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

I’ve been using this WetVac every-other-day for four weeks now. Bare with me, this is probably the longest review in the history of online shopping – But I’m hoping this will share helpful information to those considering a purchase. I’ll start with my overall feelings – Yes, this is 100% worth the small investment. Our house is on the smaller side, 1200sq ft, 2 adults, a messy 6 year old, a baby in the crawling stage, and 2 dogs. Prior to this WetVac, I used disposable mopping pads three or four times a week on top of my daily sweeping, but our vinyl plank floors never felt fully clean, and our baby’s brown-kneed footie pajamas would speak to that. The first time I used this WetVac, I swept immediately before use. To say I was disgusted – “Had my husband dump it” kind of disgusted – The water in the dirty water tank was embarrassing. Not just that, there was a ton of dog hair and I had JUST swept. I had used our disposable mopping pads the day before. Clearly, they weren’t cutting it. Once the floor dried, I filled the clean water tank back up and cleaned again, then once more. On clean #3, the water was just a light grey. I am able to get through 1,200sq ft in about 15 minutes. When I say there is ZERO elbow grease required, I mean it. The wet brush really scrubs, but doesn’t scuff your floor even with the harder bristles mixed in. The water sprayer doesn’t dump water, there’s a gentle mist and it puts off just enough solution to dampen the floor for a thorough clean. My favorite part is – Our baby’s pajama knees no longer turn brown. I do have some pointers and other things to share, though: 1) Yes, you’re going to save a ton of time during the initial cleaning – However DO expect to invest some time to care for your WetVac: – The self-clean is a MUST after every use. If you have pets or particularly dirty floors, run the cycle twice or three times. I’ve noticed that after 1 self-clean cycle, there’s still some dog hair stuck to the brush. It takes nothing to run it a few times, as long as your clean water tank is full and your dirty water tank isn’t too full. – Do NOT leave the dirty water tank closed for more than a day. We went away for a 3-day weekend. I had drained the tanks before leaving, but there was a gross musty smell when I started using it the next morning. It was coming from the brush and the dirty water tank. What I have started doing to avoid this, is I take the dirty water tank apart, take the brush out, and let them dry on our porch after use. I haven’t had the musty smell since. – If you’re planning to use this as a normal vacuum, I’ll warn you that the brush is not clean-out friendly. You’re going to have to clean hair, strings, you name it – off the brush. Truthfully, I used ours as a regular vacuum once to see how it worked in our 1 carpeted room, and I threw the brush right away. I’ll never use it as a regular vacuum again. 2) If you bump into furniture while using the WetVac feature, it can pop off the brush cover. – If you bump into something, push the cover down with your foot to re-secure it. Otherwise, it can fall off and you’ll get sprayed with water. Fun times. 3) I might be overthinking this, but I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening. – I’ve realized, I was able to get my floors done with about 75% left of charge left at first. Now, I have 66-68% left after a clean for the same Sq Ft. I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening, I’ll report back eventually. 4) The “dirty water tank” sensor. – I’m not sure if it’s a faulty sensor, though I always start with a clean and dry tank and sponge. It tells me 3 or 4 times to clean the dirty water tank and sponge, even though they’re still empty. It’s annoying but not a deal-breaker. Overall, there’s a few quirks as expected. But I will tell you, I’ll never go back to disposable mopping pads. This was a game changer for this ever-busy mama and I am truly pleased with the job it does cleaning our floors.Lauren7

I love this WetVac. It has made my life so much easier, because now I don't need to sweep then mop. I love how it has a trigger to let the water out, so if you don't need to mop a certain area, you can just vacuum it. I also really love that it has a high and Lo setting. I really love that it has a self cleaning feature. I also really love that it tells you the percentage of the battery that is left. The only thing I did not like about this vacuum was the cord that goes from the outlet to the base is not very long. I wish it was just a little bit longer. Overall this is a great Vacuum and I would highly recommend it.cutegene

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. Make sure you youse warm-hot water with or without solution since will tackle the dirt better. I’m happy with the product and it really saves me a lot of time and does a great job!!!Denisik91

I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. I use the Garage Pro for what it was designed for, have it mounted in one corner of a two car garage. I clean the cars, and the garage, on a bi-weekly basis and have owned this vacuum for over one year. I really like the Garage Pro. It has few flaws, and those few are minor, probably couldn't even call them "flaws". I think that the cord ought to be longer for a device like this, considering it is intended to be wall-mounted. The super-long hose is awesome; I have the vacuum mounted in one corner of the two car garage and can clean both cars (a sedan and a minivan) with little struggle. The only issue is when you find something you don't want to vacuum or need to turn the suction off for a minute, that super long hose puts you a long way from the power switch! So what I did was purchase a remote-controlled plug-in switch from a hardware store. Problem solved! If you do the same thing, be sure to consider the Amperage and Voltage specifications on the vacuum and be sure the remote-controlled switch will meet or exceed that. I do not use the vacuum for cleaning up such things as wet leaves in the garage, as others had noted in reviews that it didn't work well for. I instead use my brain to determine that there is no vacuum one should use to suck up wet leaves in the garage, just blow them out or rake them up. On the topic of blowing, I have not used the vacuum as a blower so can't comment on that functionality. If Bissell incorporated a remote-controlled power function on this vacuum it would be PERFECT, but as it stands it is a very nice unit that was a good investment for me. I can just walk to the garage to clean up the cars, instead of driving them back and forth to a car wash. And after one year I still consider it to be a well manufactured unit.JJ

I use this vacuum for detaining cars. At this point I've had this vacuum for about 3-4 years and it has never failed to meet if not exceed my expectations. I use it very consistently and haven't had any issues out of it apart from stuff I have damaged in the past. The hose, mounting bracket and the vacuum itself all feel and preform like I would expect for a shopvac like this. I have also used it to get water out of a friends flooded basement and it did a stellar job at that too seeing as we were both sucking water up for a few hours and it never had a single issue handling that as well. The only real complaint I have about the vacuum is the hose, if you aren't careful it can kink up pretty easily but other than that I absolutely love it and will probably buy another one when mine bites the dust.Zach

Since there is nothing else like this tool on the market, I'll have to fairly review it by comparing it to a traditional mop and bucket. There are pros and cons for both. While I'm not typically one to invest heavily in a machine that just simply provides an electric way to do a simple manual job, this HydroVac offers so much more. The rotating antimicrobial roller mimics repeatedly going over the floor surface with minimal movement by the operator. No difficult scrubbing to get a higher level of clean. The cleaning formula was effective and I felt most powerful when mixed with warm filtered water. Dried on sticky foods came up easily and filled my home with a really nice scent. Where I would prefer a mop and bucket is when I was rinsing all of the tanks out: the solution tank and the dirty water tank. With a mop and bucket, I just dump and rinse. However, the cleaning power of this HydroVac cannot be matched! I did find that the HydroVac did really well sucking up along edges on the side of the unit but not from the front, so I wish I made a better effort sweeping before using this vac. At the end of the day, for an investment, you can get a better clean. In fact, I would recommend my friends with disabilities give this appliance a try as it allowed me to do a task that requires physical exertion with much less demand on my body.Michelle Y.

I've wanted one of these combo vac/mops ever since the Bissell Crosswave came out, but it was hard to justify the expense. I was also not sure about having to deal with cleaning a machine like this after use. After saving up some BBB gift cards, I finally bought this Shark Hydrovac after watching the Vacuum Wars youtube review, and I am so glad I did! My hardwood floors have never been cleaner! I live in a messy house with 3 kids, 2 cats, Georgia red clay in the backyard and no one but me will take off their shoes when they come in. This machine got my floors as clean as if I had hand washed them on my hands and knees. It passed the paper towel test – for the first time ever after using all kinds of different mops (steam mop, microfiber spray mop, regular mop head with spin bucket, etc), my floors actually did not show any dirt when wiped with a wet paper towel after mopping them with the Hydrovac. Also, it left NO streaks or haze! I've tried all sorts of products to get my floors cleaned and nothing left them looking this good. And cleaning the machine afterwards was no big deal at all – definitely not any more time involved than dealing with mop buckets and mop heads. The only downside is that it does not fit to clean under the kickboard of the kitchen cabinets, and the edge cleaning could be better – it leaves about a half inch around edges untouched…but I don't care because it got the rest of my floors so totally clean that I'm happy to overlook that small downside. Also, I had to refill the water tank before I finished mopping (I mop my foyer, half bath, 2 hallways and kitchen.) The floors dry unbelievably fast – it seems like it squeegees the floor with each pass to get up almost all the water used. It didn't do much to clean my area rug; it just picked up surface dirt but didn't do anything to remove marks on the rug. But I think it is still nice that I can go over area rugs with it as I'm cleaning my hardwoods and get all the surface dirt all at once. It's lightweight, and I think something that my kids could handle using easily. Regarding the Shark brand cleaner, the smell is not overpowering. I'm sensitive to scents and this didn't bother me. This is a fantastic way to keep multiple floor surfaces clean. I tried this on a couple looped wool throw rugs and it did a great job cleaning without harming the rug fibers. The roller is a very soft micro fiber type material that gently rotates and gently cleans. It applies a small amount of cleaning solution the is supplied with the vacuum and sucks it all up leaving a very light dampness. It doesn't thoroughly soak the carpet but instead is more of a surface cleaning. you can easily see how much dirt is being picked up in the water being vacuumed up. It's a good idea to vacuum before using the wet vac. There is no danger of harming the floors beneath the rug because the vacuum completely picks up all of the moisture being used. I like the way it cleans the rugs but I think it works best on hard surfaces. The lighted brush assembly makes it easy to see the surface being cleaned and again it only leaves a slightly damp surface that dries quickly. There is no puddling of cleaning solution. The water compartments are easily disassembled and easily cleaned. The self cleaning feature is handy and works well and only takes 2 minutes. This is only a wet vac and not for dry vacuuming at all. I have several Shark products and I love them all and this is no exception. I highly recommend it.cdubs58

This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. For $99 it is not worth it. This should be a $39 dollar machine tops.Cutlass275

This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

All this shop vac is good for is picking up dust! Being a big buyer of Milwaukee tools I was excited to finally get this vac to add to the list of tools. After using it I have nothing but issues. House gets clogged, wont suck up screws, wont even pick up small pieces of copper from electrical installs. Also the run time is very minimal even with a 9.0 battery you get about 10 mins of vacuuming before it dies. I should have stuck with my Pack Out one. A LOT CHEAPER AND DOES A BETTER JOB.Ckelly29

When my beloved Milwaukee Vac Model 8925 needed to be replaced, I opted for this beast. It is not only well designed from a functional and use standpoint, it just looks cool. I never realized how burdensome it was to worry about using a cord and now just wheel my "M18" from room to room. The filtration system is awesome and when I attached the hose to the orbital sander directly, saw no dust whatsoever leaving the work area. The wheeled platform is great but I do appreciate it's so easy to pop off when carrying up stairs. In particular, the attachments are very heavy duty and while I miss the super long hose from my Model 8925 … I am learning to appreciate everything this tool has to offer in terms of making my work easier. The hose just disconnects itself from the vac any time you have a slight twist in it. There is a second output airflow port which has a little bit more friction but not much more to hold the hose tightly. I got a bag also, but it's not practical to keep it on top of the vac while working because I reach handle on top frequently. So I keep the bag on top just for storage. The bag should be Packout compatible which is not for now.radionokiatv

I purchased this vacuum back in May/June of 2021 and have had the last 6 months to really use this thing and put it to the test and honestly- I'm not impressed. I'm already way past the return window, so I just wanted to leave a review for others so people can know my personal experience. It doesn't have the suction to pull the cleaner/water out of any rugs or carpet I own. So, we are left with wet carpet for hours after using this. It also does not clean the floors properly with the brush. It's really just moving dirty water around while only sucking up a small fraction of what I have put down. There are dirty water streaks every time I use this to mop. When using the vacuum dry, the dust and hair clog up the filter within minutes and I have to empty it multiple times while vacuuming, even though the container itself is not nearly full. I have a long haired cat, and I myself have long hair. Neither of these things have agreed with this vacuum. If you have a cat and plan on vacuuming any cat litter with this- don't. It will become a large clay litter clump in the suction tube of the vacuum that you have to get out yourself. It will also leave nasty gray streaks of litter/water on the floor. Additionally, my fallen hair gets so tangled in the spinning brush that I have to cut it off. Honestly, that might not be avoidable or the fault of the vacuum. My hair also gets caught on the sides of the spinning brush and becomes an unmanageable mess that can't be removed. This was probably my worst "big purchase" of 2021. I got the Crosswave Max as a splurge birthday present. It has since been returned for the following reasons. It is NOT convenient. Have to assemble before each use, fill with water and their solution (cannot use just water for brush head reasons), then after use have to run the brush clean function and disassemble and clean all the other parts and let them dry. So you need a dedicated area for all this, just like a full on carpet cleaner. In all that time it takes to assemble and clean up after, I can bend over and pick up or sweep up any of my toddler's mess AND warm up and use my steam mop. Going back to the brush cleaning cycle, it does not do much to clean the brush. The brush remains dirty, discoloured, and unless you soak it in detergent for at least 30 minutes with a good rinse after (blue dish soap, or laundry soap, or their solution, etc), it will remain dirty and leaves a lot of streaks and milky film on the floor the next use. I have darker floors, so it looked disgusting after the wetness dried. I would have to use my steam mop after using the crosswave and the pad would be very gross after, but atleast the floors would finally look good. It's also a slow machine to use. You basically wet the floor area going slowly so it's evenly wet and then have to go over it several times to try to dry it as much as possible. You have to do this section by section. It would take much too long to do only my kitchen, where I could sweep or vacuum and mop it in half the time. This machine is a great idea in theory, but it is not convenient or efficient and left my floors dirtier than before using it. The company states the brushes need to be replaced after ten hours of use (I did not use it nearly that long and the brush heads were awful after a short time) and they are not cheap to replace. Also have to use their solution, again not cheap. For such an expensive device, it requires a lot of additional costs and left my floors disgusting after. 0/5 stars.Melissa

I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. The price of this machine is a little pricey, but after trying I definitely understand why. It actually works! So far so good.Redhdedgrl

I have been using the Deboot Ozmo 920 since mid August. Admittedly, I was very skeptical when my husband brought the Deboot home as I have never used a robotic vacuum before. However, after using it for a few weeks, I have to admit that this little robotic vacuum is a definite time saver and I was surprised at how well it can clean my floors. I also appreciate the mopping features and it does a good job with no streaks on my hardwood floors. The features and price of the Deboot Ozmo 920 are top notch and work just as well if not better than other leading brands. The laser mapping and software work very well, and having the ability to setup virtual "no go" zones is a definite asset and allows you to dynamically set up zones while mapping which prevent it from getting tangled in cables behind furniture. The multi-floor feature also works well, and the robot has always been able to successfully identify which floor it is on and automatically chooses the appropriate map. Now that the additional charging station is available for purchase, I will likely buy this to avoid having to move the charger between floors. Overall, I have been very pleased with the Ozmo 920 and after showing friends and family, they have also expressed an interest in owning one.CatherineB

I first purchased the Ozmo 930 back in June, 2019. At first, I absolutely loved it. It did a wonderful jobbing mapping the layout of my house and cleaned the entire place in just about an hour with no issues. But about 6 weeks into owning it, it started having some issues. It would seem to get lost, just spinning around over the same spot without actually being physically stuck on anything. The mapping function no longer seemed to work, as it would say the cleaning was complete while leaving two entire rooms completely untouched. I originally purchased the vacuum on Overstock, and was required to go through Ecovacs to return it. At first, they were really difficult to work with, but in the end, they did accept the return and send me a new one. I received the new one in August and waited to review it to see how it did. Well, just like before, about 6 weeks into using it, I'm experiencing the same issues once more. Only now it's even worse. The battery will die before finishing the clean, which it never had that issue before. It only takes an hour to clean the place; the battery should last longer than that. Again, it gets stuck on nothing at all, appears to get lost and skips entire rooms. Just like before, I've done the troubleshooting. The sensors are clean. The vacuum is properly maintained. It just seems like the computer system in it stops working over time. This shouldn't happen for the price of this. I'm now going to request a return for a full refund, as I have no interest in trying a third vacuum from this company. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! UPDATE: In response to this review, Ecovacs offered an exchange to the upgraded Ozmo 920. I gave it a try and have found this one to have the same issues, only far worse. It moves around as if it really can't see where it is going. It claims to have finished the clean and returns to the charging dock after having completed half a room. My house has a very wide open layout, free from clutter and obstacles. There is no reason at all that it should be experiencing such difficulty. I sent a video to the company showing them what was happening and telling them that I am finished with their products and just want my money back. They responded telling me they would swap out my original vacuum so that I could return it for a refund from the place of purchase, and that I just needed to confirm my address. I did so and asked for the return shipping label so that I could send this one back to them and get the exchange going. They have never responded back. That was 9 days ago and I've emailed them twice since. This has been a huge waste of time/energy/money and I just want to be finished dealing with this company altogether.NicoleMCgm

Can’t seem to find the charging port after taking on and off line restarting to factory settings it still says bring my to charging port laser frequently says LDS malfunction
No idea why nothing is blocking speaking that laser guidance it protrudes off the to of the robot over a inch just enough to get caught under a table and it keeps getting stuck under the same location so you have to get up and remove from under the table robot will say check the driving wheels and the dust bin

I have received this Utility vacuum as a product review. I am proud owner of Hoover Air Cordless Stick vacuum as my daily companion and as expected, this Utility vacuum also does not disappointed me. After three weeks of Kitchen and Outdoor uses, here are the Pros and Cons Pros – Portable, off-course it is cordless – Made of high quality rugged plastic throughout. – Light weight, easy to open and clear the debris. – The Li-ion battery gives fade free suction power till the end. – Extendable hose has enough length around 6 feet for light duty works. – Even though it is not powerful, the blower function is very helpful in loosening dust and debris from tight corners. – As a wet vacuum, with its 3 gallons bin capacity and portability, it works well above my expectations. – Battery can be used for all other ONEPWR systems. – Easy to clean the Filter and vacuum after a rough use. Everything is easily attach/detachable. Cons – As dry vacuum, it is not up to the expectations, my old Hoover Air Cordless vacuum works much better that this one. – Crevice Tool and Utility Nozzle attachments are loose fitted. I used a tape to tighten it. – Do not expect something mind blowing on Carpets with available attachments. – It is better to have a 3-4 feet straight hose attachment, so that we do not want to bend much while cleaning the floors. – Performance is bad in semi wet conditions. – Very noisy. Keep in mind that it is a battery operated vacuum, do not expect performance of a corded one. I am getting around 10 minutes of work time with 2 Ah battery, even though the specifications. I am expecting Hoover will provide Extendable Hose/Wand like the one comes with ONEPWR High capacity vacuum in the accessories and parts. It is a must attachment to the Utility vacuum. Now I can keep my kitchen as clean and new always, This can lift of every drops/spills and remaining of cuts/slices in seconds and leave the kitchen nice and dry.Butler

I was amazed since the very beginning because great craftsmanship good finishing and good quality material. I have been using three times in my car and is very powerful but need to work in small areas at the time but the power is even better than others vacuums I have. I had the chance to used it in wet conditions in my shop and works just fine in liquids, the design and the material is made of, make clean up of the vacuum very easy. the only reason I don't rate it with five stars is due to the charger station, the electrical cable to be more accurate. I put the battery to charge since the first time and the time charging was somewhat fast and charge last very long but the cable don't match the good materials and manufacturing of the entire vacuum. it seems to be very fragile and more low quality. in others experiences with several electronic devices, this type of cable is prone to fail due to breakage in the zone where the charger and the cable meets. I don't think I will have any future problems but need to match the good quality of the rest of he equipment. I have seen others brands with better electrical cords. take in consideration that this equipment is design to be used in moderate to heavy duty and the electrical cord looks fragile. I'm very surprised how well is the performance and good material.frankie77

I got the opportunity to test the ONEPWR Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum Kit and I am very impressed with all the cordless cleaning in one neat package. My community was hit with several Tornadoes this summer and the cleanup of the aftermath has been very dusty and emotionally draining. Having this Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum made a world of difference. The suction power is amazing for either wet or dry messes and the portability made things so nice. Cleaning is less time consuming and I can clean from floor to ceiling and everything in between with no problem! My favorite thing about this system is that one battery works multiple appliances in the ONEPOWR system. I have been a Hoover fan for many years and this new piece of my cleaning arsenal is just another example of how"nobody does it like Hoover!"Klassic66

Just bought myself an early Christmas present, the crosswave pro pet multi surface vac/mop. Really amazing how it cleans up, you see/feel/smell the difference instantly. I have health issues so sweeping/mopping is a challenge for me and i needed an easy option that worked. I have multiple cats and this is amazing with cat fur/dried up hairballs/cat litter etc, the fact that it separates all the icky stuff from the clean water makes the biggest difference…you will be in shock how much gets ckeaned up. Now this beautiful household tool needs care in between using it but i like the finished product so much i don't mind the clean up after and still easier then sweeping and mopping with way better results, plus i just put it up on my counter for easy access for the clean up. Tips: 1) don't use with a wet filter, always put a dry filter in. 2) get a baby tooth brush to get in small crevasse. 3) sweep out corners or hard to reach spots into where it can be vacuumed because this machine cant get to them. 4) i didn't get cordless because i don't want to deal with future batterie issues (not saying it happens but more likely then a cord) put top of cord on hook as you vacuum, easier to control cord dosen't get in your way. 5) clean spray holes if needed with paper clip. 6) make sure if you are dumping dirty water or cleaning off in the sink you have a drajn catcher because pet fur and gunk gets everywhere, you'll see as you are clean everything off and dumping water out, don'twant that going down your drain. 7) go slow when spraying the water, give wet vac mop a chance to do its thing. 8) make sure everything is dry b4 you put back together so no mold or smells start to happen. Like i mentioned, if you take care of this it will continue to take care of your floors and rugs. Ps: Not paid to write this, just a regular human. I paid for my crosswave and i really love it. No love is as great as the first, as they say. I bought this last year but after taking it to a friends house and power washing and vacuuming their entire 2 bedroom apartment for 5 hours straight for 2 days in a row, i think i mightve found the breaking point of this product… Haha, so after it wouldnt turn on, i returned it. I ended up going through 3 other new vacuums and returned them all, only to repurchase this as the 5th one. As i mentioned in the previous review for the Bissell Proheat Duo Pet vacuum, this one here was the absolute perfect size for a 5'3 girl living in a small apt. Its great in smler spaces and even if the suction is not as powerful as the Proheat Duo vacuum, this one does a good enough job for the size and its ease of use cant be beat. Cleaning it is suuuuuuper easy, refilling the water is super easy, and all i gotta do is just press a maximum of 2 buttons. (Meanwhile the pro heat duo has me feeling like an airplane technician, after having to take out a bunch components to clean it which was NOT easy and having so many buttons!!!) Im a bit OCD with vacuuming my carpet all the time (every day) and im always very pleased with the carpet cleaning after i wash it. Overall its been the best model i have found for a Wet/Dry vacuum so i highly recommend if its for a 1 bedroom apt. My only gripes are that this is not easy to push!!! Also wish it could suction better when going BACKWARDS because it only suctions good moving forward but not if i pass over it backwards and if the suction would be stronger too. Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I've had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model. Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem. Thought for sure that Hoover would've gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry. Will 'gift' my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.Reenie

This is my 4th floor mate, my last one the brush would not stay attached, This one I'm having a problem with the clear cover staying on. But all in all this is a good concept for cleaning and then rinsing the floor. I wash my floor and then suck up the water, then put clean water in the tank and re rinse the floor. I have 2 old doxie who pee, and this machine really helps with the clean up. I also use it on the rubber mats at my back door during the winter and rainy season. Until summer when I can take my mates outside for a go pressure washing. The company just needs to look at a better design for the brush and now the clear cover.LINDA

I bought this specifically to clean my laminate floors after a basement remodel that left a layer of Sheetrock dust is n the textured laminate. We scrubbed, mopped and everything else to try and clean the laminate, but couldn't get this layer of dirt off the floors. Bought this vac to try since we'd already tried everything else. Mixed the cleaner with a cap full of vinegar and tried an area. Couldn't believe the dirt I emptied out of the container after one pass. After this we decided to move all the furniture and do one whole room. Not only did it get all the dirt out of the distressed floors, it scrubbed the laminate back to looking new. We'll to say the least we ended up doing every room in the house because the dust had come up through all the vents. The heavy traffic areas we did twice and still were able to pull additional dirt off the floors. I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before buying and the main reason I decided on this one was because of the rotating brushes. They scrub the floors in both directions and suck up the water when pulling it back. I live this vac and have also used on my tile floors. It does not clean the grout, but I wouldn't expect it to, but does an amazing job on the tile. I will be making another quick pass to n all the floors again just to see how much additional dirt I can get off. Great purchase, don't be scared by the other reviews. The vac will leak a little when water is in the cleaning container and you leave it in one spot, so if storing with water in the tank, our a towel under it.Doug

I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49

I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette
