I have sensitive, combination skin which is acne prone and have closed comedones. I've notice recently more comedones popping up. My winter skin (dry, flakey patches on cheeks and forehead) was saved by the Omega complex moisturizer. Figured comedones due to moisturizer being too thick for Summer so tried Clear oil free. 1 week in and my T zone seems ok but my cheeks are red and a little warm. This was the only new products I have introduced. Really wanted to live this, but it's just not for me. Thankful that these come in tavel sizes for testing vs. Having to buy full sizes. Paula's Choice products have been hit or miss for me, but this moisturizer is definitely a hit. I have sensitive, combination skin with periodic mild acne. I already use actives when I need to and wanted a light moisturizer that wouldn't break me out and be counter-productive to the rest of my routine. I love the finish, it's light, non-greasy, a bit on the matte side but still moisturizing, and it actually soothes my skin. I recently reacted badly to a sunscreen from another brand – caused a burning and itching feeling, and this moisturizer helped calm my skin back down. I caution any skincare shopper to beware of radical claims of, "This cleared up my skin in days!" or "Never buy this product! Ruined my skin!" Everyone's skin is different, and, in my understanding, there are very, very few ingredients that produce immediate results, and most formulations are not actively comedogenic in this day and age. That being said, this product is fantastic. No, it did not do anything magically, but for a moisturizer for acne-prone skin, I have never used a product like it. I used to swear off "luxury" skincare and only use drugstore products. However, the amount of drugstore moisturizer I used on my skin to get even close to the same benefit is incomparable. The tube may be "smaller," but you use WAY less and get much more out of it. It is the perfect weight for my skin- canceling out both the oily and dry zones- while protecting me from irritation from my prescription retinoid! The product may sting if you put too much on at first! But that might be your skin type not being compatible. If you generally are not super SUPER sensitive (like I was when I FIRST tried it and was using too much), this product should be fine (especially if you give it a few chances and titrate). No more blemishes, no more blackheads (which is HUGE), and my pores appear to be considerably smaller. I was getting frustrated at first because I didn't see results for awhile. So, keep trying! The moisturizer is easy to dispense and goes on smoothly. A little really goes a long way. My skin is left feeling soft, silky, and smooth, NOT greasy. Without fragrances, oil, parabens and alkohol. It's more like a gel with some scent. If you have combo acne prone skin this is definitely for you. Does not cause breakouts. I had been looking for a good moisturizer for oily skin that I could put on and not realize it's there. Every other "light weight" moisturizer felt good when I first put it on and then an hour or so later, my face felt like an oil slick covered with velvet. But this moisturizer is nothing like that! A little goes a long way, it absorbs instantly and is incredibly light weight. This moisturizer does not feel greasy at all and I actually forget I put it on. I can already see improvements from the moisturizer which was a nice surprise. I only use it every other day so far and at this point, I don't see the need to apply it every single day. My combination skin loves this especially when it's on the drier and more irritated side, like in the winter, after a sunburn or too much retinol. I love the creamy texture which is a bit silkier and more luxurious than my standby Eight Greens (which can feel kind of stiff and doesn't spread as easily) and it visibly soothes redness overnight. I can use this with a drop or two of water for lighter application under makeup, use it straight from the jar for slightly more moisture, or enrich it with a couple drops of the recovery oil at night.Amanda
This is definitely on if my favorite moisturizers. I will try a whole bunch but always end up going back to this one. First of all I love the smell. I mainly use it for winter as it is a thicker moisturizer but because it helps with redness I will use it it in the summer once ina while too. I will just add some water to it to thin out the consistency. For me it helps when I get those really red pimples. Seems like it helps take that redness away a bit. This sunscreen is the worst. I've tried it three or four times now, and every time it gets in my eyes and they end up burning, watery,and painful, even though I avoid the eye area, and sometimes hours later. I can't believe this is an offering from a premium brand like MB at this price point. It feels like I am putting regular for-your-body suntan lotion on my face. It's not particular greasy, but it does seem to just sit on your skin. There are countless better offerings for facial sunscreen out there. Cotz and Olay mineral are light years beyond this. I used this as a daily moisturizer after cleansing and using a toner. It absorbed into my skin well, and I loved the dewy way it made my skin look. I used the same small bottle for several months, so a little goes a long way! Unfortunately, it made my skin feel very congested, and my acne flared up. My pores were full of gunk, my face was really oily, and I started getting cystic acne on my face and neck. I quit using it three days ago and my skin has already calmed down immensely, and the cysts are going away. If you have skin that isn't acne-prone or is more dry, this could be great for you. Okay, i have to leave a review because 1. this has been a staple product among the rest of my usual high end skin care for YEARS but 2. I feel like it only works on certain types of skin to make a difference. I used this all through high school and never really had acne so I couldn’t totally see the results of it. my skin is very dry and somewhat sensitive but this year once I started working out I started getting a little acne on my chin here and there and ended up using something from proactive with A LOT of retinol that ABSOLUTELY destroyed my skin barrier. my skin on my chin was chapped, insanely dry and red and after that acne started popping up everywhere on my chin, but not like regular pimples. they were huge and dry/cyst like. I started using harsh products and oily skin face wash to get rid of it (i’ve never had experience with acne so in my mind acne=oily skin) but little did i know it was because my skin barrier was so destroyed and dried up that THAT was the reason for all my breakouts! I decided to stop with all the harsh products and start from the basics with gentle, moisturizing products again. my skin was definitely thanking me for it but still had a small amount of acne on my chin. after applying hydrating toner and serum I would apply this product for my acne. my skin has been clearing faster than ever which shows me this product is not too drying and the perfect formula for my skin to help with my acne but also keep the skin moisturized. my skin barrier is still a work in progress lol but this product has been a lifesaver for me. not too much or too little, but just right for the dry/sensitive skin breakouts!d
The scent smells so good. I expected the size to be bigger but it's as big as my palm. The packaging looks nice and sturdy. It feels cool on the skin after applying. One of the reason why I bought this was because of its benefits and its ingredients, particulary salicylic acid which helps in combatting acne. When I first started using this moisturizer a few years ago I loved it. My recent purchase of this moisturizer hasn't been the best. I'm not sure if an ingredient has been added but I'm even more oily after I apply it. I started having continuous breakouts all over my face (cheeks, jawline, between eyebrows & forehead) for a month. I thought it was stress and other things. I decided to eliminate this product from my skincare routine just to see if it would help. My skin immediately started clearing up. I believe it's a good product just not for oily, sensitive & acne prone skin. I also noticed my make-up looking terrible by the end of the day. In the morning it would be fine, during mid-day I look like a oil stick. Today was my second day not using it under my makeup & my face is not oily at all & it still looks fresh! My pores no longer feel clogged! I still love the Farmacy brand & will continue to purchase other skincare items! I'm just praying my review will help you all come up with another moisturizer that's a little lighter, less clogging of the pores and less fragrances and ingredients.
The new formula ruined this moisturizer for me. I had a subscription and was obsessed with the original formula. The smell was the most amazing and refreshing scent. I always felt like I was transported to a tropical island, and applying it was my favorite part of my skincare routine. The scent just lifted me up and relaxed me. Now, the new formula has zero scent. The whole experience is non-existent for me as a result. The original formula also just felt better on my skin overall. I could even apply it right over and around my eye area, and never experienced any irritation. It actually helped soothe my eyes. The new formula burns! I’m so disappointed that the formula was changed so drastically. I really just hate this moisturizer now. It’s nothing like the original, which was my holy grail and addiction for years. If you’ve ever found a moisturizer you truly love everything about, then you know the devastation of not being able to get it anymore and how hard it is to find a replacement. I’ve been an avid user for years. The formula was perfect and never broke out my sensitive skin. UNTIL they changed the formula. I just purchased a new package and to say the difference is huge is a massive understatement. Whereas previously the moisturizer perfectly absorbed into my skin and truly had the oil free dewy glow you want, the new one adds this weird layer on top of your skin that just….sits there. It’s kind of sticky like it hasn’t fully absorbed and, this sounds dramatic, but it feels like it’s clogging my pores immediately. Like when you use a bad sunscreen, or a bad lotion in a pinch, and when you sweat you can feel that layer of sweat trying to come out but can’t and it just feels gross? Yeah. That’s how it feels almost immediately and then subsequently the rest of the day. You’re just sitting there not sweating and your face can’t breath or dry feeling. It gets worse, especially if you do end up outside and sweating. Needless to say, my sensitive skin that I actually had under continuous control for almost two years now looks like a battle zone with all kinds of breakouts coming up even in areas I don’t usually get them, like my neck. I pretty much always have some redness on my forehead and cheeks and this morning (after using this product for four days) I woke up and thought wow did I fall asleep with my makeup on?? Because my skin looked like one color with BARELY any redness! Absolutely amazing! I must admit I have also been eating very clean and drinking lots of water the last few days so that could also be a reason, but I have no doubt this product helped! I loved the old formula. It was such a light texture that allowed my skin to breathe. It got rid of the redness and oilyness of my eczema/rosacea/acne prone skin. My skin never looked so clear. The new formula, with the cotton removed, does not give the same results though. It's also now a horrible, thick, greasy, suffocating texture. I've decided I really like this moisturizer. It feels almost like a light gel moisturizer, and seems to sit on the skin more than other moisturizers I've used. I feel like my skin is protected this way and it is a nice light layer between my skin and makeup. And when I don't wear makeup, it is absorbed enough so that my skin looks hydrated but is still protected. I bought this because I was using the Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream, and I was looking for alternatives to that. I came across Hyram's video about the Dr. Jart products, and then found out that Hyram now has his own skincare line. In the video, I also learned that essential oils can be harmful to your skin just like how general "fragrance" is harmful. It seemed like Hyram has done lots of research and is very knowledgeable of different skincare ingredients. I'm glad I tried this. I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually, foundation doesn't work with my skin very well. But, since I started using this moisturizer, makeup seems to be more even, and my skin looks and feels better without makeup. Thank you!K
First of all how bad can you rate a product that helps the world around it? Honestly. I cannot explain how much I love this product and how much I wish I could buy more of it. I remember reading reviews saying that if you have dry skin then you should consider looking somewhere else, and let me tell you that is bull! I have combination skin, but I do often get flare-ups of eczema on my face. Never in my life have I had a product that was able to keep my skin moisturized and not oily at the same time. Bought this on a whim while on sale, not expecting much at all… I was shocked to find it controlling shine in my oil-slick of a T-zone, while simultaneously hydrating enough to prevent settling/breakdown in my under eye area. Absorbs quickly and doesn’t pill if over-applied (I run late often and in my haste have been known to overdue it). But this was definitely a win for me! Side note: after reading other reviews I was so confused by the comments regarding the scent. I made a point of checking mine as I applied, and then again rubbed into the back of my hand. I am obsessed with this moisturizer. I work in the skincare world so I’ve bought and been gifted and tried a million moisturizers and this has quickly become my go to. It’s the perfect every day moisturizer, not too thin but not too thick either. Feels so smooth and hydrating going on, never leaves me feeling greasy or oily. I just stared to use a stronger prescription retinoid (tretinon) and this moisturizer layers on top of it perfectly, keeps my skin from being too dry or flaky, and is great day or night. I've battled with hormonal and cystic acne for a long time and it's been especially bad the last 2 years. I bought this set (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) to try and it has honestly been the ONLY thing that drastically reduced my oiliness and while I still get those big hormonal acne spots that's painful and has no head, it's significantly less. I bought this moisturizer on Amazon after previously using a $23 one that I finally used up. I wasn’t really expecting much as I think it only had 24 reviews but the majority were positive and for $10.99 I decided to try it out. Firstly, it’s lightweight but hydrates my skin and this is important for me because heavy moisturizers just irritate my skin that is already acne prone and can lead to me breaking out. Secondly, it has quality ingredients that are understandable and what I’ve been specifically looking for in a moisturizer, my last moisturizer had salicylic acid but didn’t offer many other beneficial ingredients that weren’t too harsh for the skin like this one. I have been using this with the toner now and my dark spots are fading from a recent whitehead breakout I had which turned into a huge pimple and left a really dark mark behind, I I feel like the two combined are really benefiting my skin. Listen, I have struggled with acne since I was 12 years old. I have tried so many products on my face throughout the years. This is a lightweight moisturizer that never makes my combination/oily skin feel greasy. Nor does it make it feel tight or dry. My skin is ultra sensitive to products and I never have any stinging or tingling. I have noticed fewer breakouts and when I do inevitably have a pimple, I stick a peach slices acne patch on and typically it's gone within 2 to 3 days. I have gotten multiple comments on my skin from different people since I started using this moisturizer; including that my skin looks hydrated and glowy and beautiful. Which is some thing that was never said about my skin. The tiniest bit of product goes a long way too and I straight up just use this durning the day every day instead of CeraVe's moisturizing lotion… and wishing a couple of weeks my skin has looked wonderful. This has a light gray color to it, but disappears when rubbed into the skin. It feels very moisturizing at first, but when it dries down to a matte finish, my skin feels a little tight. I have dry combination skin, so it could just be due to my skin type. Upon the first sniff, this has a minty scent to it. However, after applying onto the skin, it has this strong, bamboo-ey (hard to describe) scent that doesn't dissipate after a few minutes. I can't say whether or not the salicylic acid in this has helped or not (since I haven't used it long enough), but this would probably suit people with oilier skin types. Overall the product is nice! The packaging is high quality and luxurious. Definitely not cheap. The moisturizer has a slight gray color (probably from the charcoal), when you first look at it, but it does not make your face gray when applying it on. For me I think this product is okay. It contains salicylic acid, which definitely made my skin purge after starting to use it. My skin has been purging for a while so I'm not sure if I like salicylic acid in my skincare routine (I prefer lactic acid since its better for dry skin types). But I do see the pore minimizing effects. Since I was given the full size of this product, it will definitely last a while since a little bit goes a long way! I have combination skin and tend to break out during my cycle. Overall, skin is pretty clear with some very minor hyperpigmentation. I was excited to use this as the ingredients have salicylic acid for pore congestion and charcoal for purifying. I used a basic routine- cleanse, tone, then used this as a moisturizer. When I initially put it on my skin, I felt a tingling sensation and it smelled quite nice if you like essential oils. However, the next morning my cheeks were red and irritated and I had small pustules on my forehead! I've never reacted to a product like this. I bought this moisturizer to help with my oiliness when I go out. I try to buy lightweight moisturizers so it doesn’t leave a build up on my face and cause excess oil or breakouts. I bought this due to some reviews saying it helped on there oily skin a when I first tried it, I was amazed. Fast forward about the 4th time using it, going outside of the house. I decided to go out to grab a bite to eat an put this on about an hour before I was to go out. My face started to get oily again on my forehead and nose. I know the directions say you can replace up to 3 times a day so no biggie just added a little more and oiliness was gone. Bam!! My skin did not become overly oily and it held for about a hour again, got home washed my face. Had it on less than 3 hours, touched up twice. But after a few days of using it here and there, I started breaking out more. I thought it was just random so I stopped using it just in case and my acne started going away, no new breakouts. I waited about a week or so an tried again. It was fine for a few days but constantly having to reapply or clean my face throughly to start again to avoid the excess oil an it bought my breakouts back days after. I mainly breakout on my cheeks and my neck. I’ve been using this for about 5 weeks just to give a reference on time. I do have to say I have mixed reviews on this. Pros 1) it does take away the oil effortlessly.. 2) it doesn’t smell bad 3) it’s small an convenient to take anywhere for a touch up. 4) it goes nicely under makeup ( I tried once) 5) it’s creamy an smooth. 6) price is good Cons 1) you have to reapply numerously 2) some might not like the chemical smell 3) due to reapplying, you might run out the product quicker 4) potential breakouts ( I have but some might some may not.) 5) Not sure how it would hold up in higher temperatures outdoors/indoors. ( it’s been cooler where I live so can’t say if you will reapply more. 6) not sure how it works to reapply with makeup on. I did not leave mine on long enough to know. I bought this specifically for the term “mattifying”. I have oily skin on my forehead and I wanted a moisturizer that would seal that oil away during the day. Well, this is not that mattifying moisturizer I was looking for. After 4 hours of just sitting in my apartment, my forehead is oily as heck. So this didn’t achieve the one purpose I needed it for. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! This product saved my skin. I had a face full of acne and eventually decided to begin my own research. I came across this and it became the beginning of a wonderful journey that led to a perfectly clear face. Think of this as a foundation for great skin. You’ll have to see what other products you can add to further improve your acne. For me, it was this and retinol. I also added vitamin C and tea tree oil. My eye area doesn’t like retinol, so I avoid it there. The point is that this product can’t alone do the heavy lifting of perfecting your skin, but it helps allow it to happen than any expensive products and facials I’ve ever had. My skin is naturally oily and within a week of using this moisturizer, it dried out my face completely. I had to stop using it because I started getting dry patches. I used it twice a day (morning and night) and when I would wake up the next morning from using it the previous night my face would be so dry and cracked. You could visibly see the dryness and that’s scary for me because as I mentioned, my face is naturally oily. I’ve stopped using the moisturizer a day or two ago and I’m not using an oil and Vaseline and still my face is super dry. Hopefully my skin gets back to normal soon. This is an honest review! I received a sample of this cream in the mail last spring. I loved it so much, I bought the full-sized jar from my dermatologist. I use it nightly after my retinol and serum, and I wake up every morning with dewy soft supple skin. I have had a severe health concern the past 4 years along with going through menopause which resulted in some dramatic changes to my skin and am so grateful that I found this cream. A big plus is that it doesn’t pill up after layering my products like many other creams do. I love its cooling effect on my skin too most likely from the natural herbs such as peppermint oil. I have tried so many different moisturizers, but this one is by far the best. I have been wanting to try the A.G.E cream but haven’t yet because this works so well. I am a big skinceuticals fan and I love almost all of their products. When it comes to their products, since they have such an expansive and high quality array of products it’s more about choosing what you need based on your current skin condition. I love this product for the spring, summer, and fall because during that time of year my skin doesn’t need as much moisture and this moisturizer provides the perfect amount of moisture. During winter I usually switch to a slightly heavier moisturizer. For this moisturizer another added benefit I like is the slight sheer to it and this is coming from someone who loves a matter finish. There is something really illuminating about this moisturizer that I really enjoy. Lastly, I would say it slightly and I mean very slightly helps reduce the look of large pores but that is mainly something I notice after a month of use. Full disclosure I was entirely prepared to hate this and give it a bad review as it wouldn’t work for me like most others didn’t but I’m so glad I was proved wrong. I’m someone who is sooo picky when it comes to moisturizers because I always hated how thick and oily they felt on my skin. While I do have combination leaning oily skin I was a bit apprehensive on its claims but I truly 100% am loving this. It is super lightweight which is something I always try to find in any moisturizer because I need for it to be lifht right AND effective. It sinks into your skin fairly quickly and doesn’t leave the skin feeling wet at all. Makes true on its fragrance free promise bc i can’t smell a thing and my skins gotten a bit more sensitive as I got older so that’s great! I’ve been wearing it as my moisturizer under my makeup and I really like how it feels. First impression when unboxing: The box and bottle are the same as the traditional packaging, simple, effective, pleasing to the eye. I opened the flip cap and took a whiff, there’s a light scent that reminds me of tanning lotion/sunscreen (kind of like that cooking bacon-esque scent). I read other reviews saying that a little goes a long way so I squeezed out a pea sized amount. The formula is super light, and is a water gel consistency (which made me nervous for the mattifying factor). I started with the back of my hand to see a comparison. A little definitely went a long way, and traveled up my entire forearm. I compared my hands and the hand with the product was significantly less shiny, and all of the cracks (it’s cold and dry where I am at the moment) were blurred. I tried it on my face and it definitely mattified my oily areas, but I wasn’t sure how hydrated I was. This can be a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It wasn’t greasy and didn’t leave behind a film, but at the touch it felt like I didn’t have anything on and felt like I needed to reapply. When I did reapply though, it felt like I overused product so it definitely achieved its claim to fame. I'm not particularly wowed by this product, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I do think this moisturizer lives up to its claims – matte finish, good for oily/combo skin types. My skin used to run on the oily side until I really got into skincare. Now my skin is more normal, though still acne prone.I've been using this moisturizer daily, AM PM. it does the job, but I don't mind a more hydrated look, hell, even feeling more hydrated would be nice too – something I'm not really getting with this moisturizer. If you like a more matte moisturizer, then this one is for you. Texture reminds me of a gel-cream, so not the sticky jelly texture like some gel moisturizers.The design of the cap also isnt the best. one of the two attachments broke after only 2 uses. they're too wide set apart from each other compared to other squeeze tubes that I use. I've used the Lab Series daily rescue as a daily moisturizer for years.. back when it was SPF 15. It was great to see that they updated this to be SPF 35 except I could only find the 50ML version in stores and online; they have updated the bottle to double the amount for what seems like the same price — not sure I've been keeping up. Back to the product: I love that it sucks right in and doesn't leave me with a sticky feeling for long. I also feel like it gives my face a more even tone even though it's not tinted. It's great for the guys in your life that just don't seem to want to wear any moisturizer — just place it in the bathroom and it's a one step and done after every shower, super easy.Socialliving
I use this along with the Pro Ls all in one. I work indoors so use the all in one. If I'm out doors I will use the defense lotion. I find this a little thinner compared to the all in one. It takes at least two applications to get the desired level of moisturisation even on my oily skin. I don't dislike the product. It's great. Puts me in mind of holidays with the scent of the spf in the product. I have at least 6 50ml bottles to use. Don't want to be without it.Prodetail31
I long used the Lab Series moisturizing face lotion but it was discontinued, this being the nearest replacement. And I like it better! It is thicker than the old one, which I much prefer. As a man of some years myself, I find I have few wrinkles and smooth skin, for which I give this product much of the credit. Yes, it is expensive, but a little goes a long way, so a 1.7 ounce tube lasts me a couple months of daily use. Highly recommended.hard2work1

Since high school, I have dealt with acne. It used to be a lot worse, but since I started using a prescription acne medication (Taro-Adapalene Benzoyl Peroxide) it has been manageable. My daily routine now, at age 24, prior to being sent these products from @dermalogicacanada #giftedbydermalogica included a facial exfoliation 2-3 times per week, a gentle astringent, a serum in the mornings, and eye cream and moisturizer to finish. I replaced the moisturizer in my regular routine with this one instead, and the exfoliator with a daily cleanser I was also sent. I will admit that although I did my full skincare routine every morning for the month or so after receiving this product, I did miss some nights when I was just too tired, so maybe if I had done every night as well, I would have noticed a difference. However, I did not. My skin has still been breaking out to the same degree as it was before. Perhaps these products would be beneficial for people who just break out only every so often rather than for someone like me, who has acne-prone skin. I also found that if I didn't squeeze out enough of this moisturizer onto my face, when I tried to rub it in and make the smaller amount work, it would actually start shedding as my hands brushed over it. I think it's because the moisturizer is fairly thick, as I've experienced sunscreen having this same reaction before. I had to wet my hands and add some water to my face to get rid of the shedding/make the rest soak into my face. So after that, I always ensured I had too much moisturizer squeezed out rather than not enough. Although my face FELT matte after using it, it sure didn't appear it. I haven't found a good mattifying moisturizer that really does work for my face, so I suppose I wasn't surprised that my face still looked shiny after using it, although I was a bit disappointed, since that is what this moisturizer claims to do. I don't think this moisturizer is bad by any means, since I do like the SPF protection, and it did help keep my face from getting too dry. However, I personally would not buy it again.Alexandra
I have very oily skin in my t-zone and so for me this doesn’t dry to a fully matte finish in that area, I’d say it’s more of a natural finish. But it’s not greasy at all and does help to reduce oil production during the day, so I chalk this up as a win for sunscreen. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and it hasn’t broken me out at all and may even be helping keep my skin clear (hard to tell because I use other actives). So far it’s my favourite moisturizer with SPF so I’ll keep using it. The only thing I don’t love is that is has fragrance, not sure why that’s necessary. However it does dissipate once it dries. Four stars because it hasn’t completely blown me away but it does it’s job well enough. Worth a try for someone with oily or combination skin if you aren’t sensitive to fragrance.RennieLynn
I recently switched to dermalogica for all my skin care needs. I selected products after having read up on them and the ingredient lists from different lines to suit my skin needs. Although I have oily and super congested skin, it has been a while since i've actually broken out and by that I mean like terrible cystic break outs (which I suffered from in high school). Among ALL the things I purchased, this one sadly disappointed me sorely. I'm so pleased with the rest of my products even though a lot of them weren't cut for my skin type but this one while being meant to "clear breakouts" did, in fact, the opposite! Just one application later, I developed a huge cyst on my face. And i know this product was to blame because i introduced all the new products one at a time after a gap of a couple weeks. Reading some of the reviews here has just reinforced my belief. I really wanted to like this product since ive been on the lookout for a suitable suncreen for my type and i really did give it multiple attempts but sadly it didnt make the cut. Also, applying it 'generously' like the instructions mention is a bad idea since i've noticed that does more harm than good. I really wanted to love this product. I bought the Light to Medium one, but upon first application, my face and neck turned orange. I wouldn’t even compare it to a horrible spray tan – this orange concoction goes on so unevenly that you’re left with bright orange blotches everywhere. I am light skinned, but I think in order for this to work, you need to be of Hispanic descent with a dark skin tone. It also may be a product more geared for women aged 50+. I should have stuck with my gut instinct that Olay products are not for young adults, but rather for more mature women. I wish I could have included a photo, but I wiped this product off so fast and there’s no way this is going on my face ever again.Isabella
I was hoping it would be similar to my old Olay product, the Moisturizer and Serum duo, which Target did not have. I don’t normally include pictures in reviews, or take the time to put captions! Felt it was important for the next buyer. I thought it was the sunlight on the first day I tried it, so the next day I put it on for date night. Looked up in the mirror and saw my face was orange once again. I have no doubt if I was darker skinned, putting this on top might enhance. My natural skin tone, does not work with this. I really like this product. It has no scent and I like using it both in the morning and evening. You don´t need much so the product will last you a long time. The texture is very smooth so it comes on very easily and is quickly absorbed into the skin. For my oily skin it´s doing its job well. The package is discreet and a good size. Would love to write a review but I can’t since I didn’t receive the right product . I ordered this moisturizer , because calendula extract used to help me fight acne successfully in the past . However , my order came in with the green tube moisturizer, that has completely different extracts in it.
