Well i have 2 now and have had them all my life, i modify them top to bottom. Adding new motor to redoing the fairings. Ive had the mx500 as a kid. Im now 21 years old, and still ride obviously with the modification to help with range and speed. The only 2 things i would like to point out is that after awhile the sprocket may go due to overtorque from the motor for you new riders. It can be fixed by not hardlaunching the bike. The second is that i have a mx650 from 2006 (purple) and one from (2016). The 2006 looks like is was built with a lot more quality, the welds are more discrete and theres even color on the battery covers compared to a bit sloppyer welds on the newer razor. They are still built to last and are fun to mod and ride.TheTruthBringer
It looks so different when you have it in front of you. It's way too small! Apparently is for young people above 16 years old, but no, it's for a 10 years-old small size kid. One more thing that I didn't like is that it is too noisy. It has grinding and cracking noises coming from the rear wheel. There is nothing in the manual that prepares us for that noise, maybe some little note in the troubleshooting page that advises lubricating the chain, but the problem is not the chain, it's what is inside the wheel, so I put some grease in the axles and the bearings and the grinding sounds, diminished. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix the cracking sound. Think twice before buying this mini bike if you want it for a tall kid or for yourself. Buy it only if you have a large yard or live out the city, because it's illegal to ride it on the streets.JESUS

In stock form, this is a delicate yard toy. It isn’t a Motorcycle. It isn’t even the quality of an inexpensive box store bicycle. However, with some modifications, it works ok. Bought the mx350 as a birthday present in May, 2019. The hub stripped after about an hour of use. Hub replaced under warranty then it stripped again with another 15 minutes of lite use. Note that the child rider weighs significantly less than the recommended weight limits. Dealer no longer supported repair after initial warranty claim. With support from the internet I found a hub fix – weld the hub to eliminate free-wheeling. Once the hub was welded, it never stripped again even with a 100lb rider. Despite what is stated on the Razor website, I do not recommend riders >100lbs even with a welded hub. The second major problem is the chain always falls off the stock 11 tooth counter sprocket. I replaced the tensioner twice and made several wheel alignment adjustments but the chain continued to derail. The fix was a 15 tooth counter sprocket from Profthomas on eBay. The sprocket is a perfect fit on the MX350 and, due to its larger size, it corrected the chain derailing problem. An added advantage is this 15 tooth sprocket makes the MX350 much faster on pavement. Our MX350 was a barely used toy until installing this sprocket. Kids enjoy it now but its almost too fast. Note that there is a big loss of torque so it will be slower in grass.jckawizx14
This was a Christmas present for my son that we purchased in November to avoid being out of stock. When we opened the box on Christmas Day, the bike was rusty and looked used. I will return this tomorrow and I will make sure that they don’t put this back on the floor for sale. Purchased from walmart.com in april/may of 2018 as a gift for my son for a good school year. Worked just fine that entire summer. For the cold months, I stored in a heated basement and used the Razor battery charger about every 3 or 4 weeks to keep the battery healthy. Pulled the bike out for this year as weather was getting nice. Bike lsted about 5 minutes before it died. Contacted razor "customer support" which was really them just blaming me for the issue, and telling me how to properly charge a battery..even though I know all about batteries and I followed the manual to a T. Razor also looked up the serial number and it turns out it was made in late 2017! Which means it sat at Walmart's facility for a while. Razor not stand behind their own product. I went out and bought the new batteries and installed them myself because I wanted my son to be able to ride it. Would NEVER buy a razor product again and definitely not from Walmart.com, because there's a good chance it sat for months and months with no charging. If you do buy it online e or even in the store, i recommend looking up the manufacture date…yiu may already have batteries that are on their last leg! I bought this for my Grandson because it was the only thing that he wanted for Christmas. I was extremely impressed by how quickly I received it and how easy it was to assemble. Love that it comes with a mixing bottle for the fuel/oil mix that makes it dummy proof. When it started after just 2 pulls I was even more impressed! This is an Awesome Little Dirt Bike! I ordered this in October as a Christmas gift for my son. When it arrived I opened the box to make sure everything was there but did not put it together at the time being I needed to hide it so it was left in the box for easy hiding. We assembled the bike the week of Christmas and when we went to pull the cord to start it wouldn't go back into the assembly. We had to take the entire assembly off and take it apart in order to wind the string back up. After putting the box back on we tried again and same thing happened. The parts inside this assembly are poorly designed and cheap. We were able to finally get the bike started and opened a support ticket with the manufacturer. I received a message from the manufacturer that the parts only have a 30 day warranty and that we would have to purchase a new pull start assembly for an additional $25. This is absolute crap. If you are going to sell crappy parts at least make it known that there is only a 30 day warranty. This is not disclosed anywhere on the packaging or the manuals. All it says is "If service is needed do not send back to store. Contact Manufacturer". So now my son will have to wait to use his gift until we can get this part replaced. Should have spent a little more and bought a name brand that stands behind their parts and not some cheap piece of crap from China.Julie

I bought this for my 3 year old. If your child has experience on a balance bike then this is perfect for a 3 year old. I couldn’t imagine buying this for a 7 year old to be honest because my son weighs 36 pounds and the more u weigh the slower it will go. I gave it 3 stars because my son does LOVE it while he’s riding it.. but the thing dies out far too quick. If he’s going full throttle, non stop he might get 10-15 minutes at that full speed, and 20-25 before it’s totally dead. The only way this thing will last you the 45 minutes it says it will, is if you are using it at half speed or less and only for a few minutes at a time . Quite ridiculous if you ask me . Then it needs to be charged for minimum 6 hours, so a super let down to a 3 year old, or probably any age. It was a good learner before going to a gas powered I guess but only if you have the money to blow.Kelly
Bought this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas, she weights 60 pounds soaking wet. I fully charged the battery as I was supposed to and the charge light indicator says it was fully charged. She went to ride it and the battery lasted less than 10 minutes. Not to mention the bike looks like it’s for a baby. My daughter is actually small for her age and she is in the specification of what the bike says. This is garbage do not waste your money on this junk. I would give this a negative 10 starts it I could, the customer service zero also.Jim
this dirt bike is very small it say ages 7yr to 10yr but my very slim 6yr is about to big for it. Also it does not hold a very long charge, maybe 30 mins but after the first 10 to 15 mins it just drags along. It does not have very much power to it even when its fully charged. It can not go up hill at all with my son on it. It drags when riding in grass or on dirt (and its suppose to be a dirt bike). Over all I'm VERY disappointed that I purchased this dirt bike and would not recommend anyone waste their money unless they are buying this for a really young kid/small kid. I hate I threw the box away because I am unable to return it now and it just sits cause it's such a huge disappointment when my son does try to enjoy itFabMom5

This bike arrived bolted to a metal frame inside a big box, had to install the front wheel and the handlebars and attach the battery leads. After double checking the oil level, I added about a half gallon of premium fuel, set the choke, hit the starter button, and it fired right up! Even though this is a kid's size dirt bike, I got it for my wife and she loves riding it. A lot of features to like; electric start, automatic transmission, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, adjustable rear shock, and the 70cc engine even pulls me just fine at 215 pounds. Engine has a nice healthy sound, reminds me of my old Honda SL70 I had as a teenager. Overall a really good value for the money.my69ssnova
