Great product. I remembered that my previous eye doctor use to recommend this product years ago and thought I'd try it. I have really dry eyes to the point where they feel like pins are poking them. I used this product and it helped relieve the burning and the redness. My current doctor told me if my eyes are that dry, my eyes would sting with eye drops in the beginning and to keep applying until it went away. I had to apply the drop back to back about 4 times to finally get relief. This was the same when I used Refresh tears. I'm just glad this product is more natural and cheaper. My optometrist says I have a terrible case of dry eye. I had a deviated septum that was surgically corrected years ago but I would often get a "discharge" of white "puss" that would gather in my lower eye (the left more than right). I had a Doctor of Optometry (DO) recommend Systane long-lasting lubricating drops but I never got more than 1-2 hours relief. I have adjusted the brightness levels on all of my devices, I get plenty of sleep yet this discharge would not go away. I was almost ready to just cave and buy another $15 bottle of Systane till I read about Similasan Complete on that *OTHER* site. What the heck, I mused at least it's cheaper than Systane. I bought this for my 3.5 yo who most likely got pink eye from the pool she had been taking swimming lessons in. Before putting this in her eye, she hadn’t reach the stage of puss or watery eye. However, when she woke up the next morning her eye didn’t show any improvement. She now had discharge. She was probably rubbing her face back and forth on her pillow, not helping the situation but I knew it was going to be difficult for her not to rub her eye when it was itchy. I ended up taking my kiddo to the doctor and they prescribed an ointment type medication that made a difference right away and you could see that the ointment was on her eye. *The doctor also mentioned that with the medication she wouldn’t be contagious after 24 hours. I love to try out homeopathic remedies for any type of ailment, instead of using traditional Over the counter medications that potentially contain dangerous ingredients. I love to try out homeopathic remedies for any type of ailment, instead of using traditional Over the counter medications that potentially contain dangerous ingredients. So last week when my eye was bothering me, I went into my local CVS and picked up these eye drops made by Similasan. I do suffer from dry eyes, and although I didn’t have a stye, I did have an irritation/swelling of one of my oil glands which are along top of eye where your lashes are and the bottom waterline. This item was recommended by my eye doctor. I was to use it every night for a couple months to rid me of irritating scar tissue from a minor injury. It worked and it was suggested by the same doctor to use (at night) if my eyes get irritated by dryness. I would also recommend 'REFRESH' advanced eye drops for daytime if your experiencing dry/irritating eyes. These products can also be used for preventive maintenance if you know in advance that you'll be in dry weather or excessive light. I have dry eye and map dot fingerprint dystrophy. Muro128 eye ointment is an absolute must for my eyes. I have been using it for about 35 years! I also have to use an additional ointment as well, but cannot do without either one. So thank you for carrying this product, and please keep it up! I have tried other dry eye products, but they just don't work. Muro128 is thick and white so when you put it in the eyes, immediately you cannot see well but I use it just before bedtime, and so I don't need to see well when I sleep. I also have problems with my eyelids not closing all the way when I sleep, so the thick layer of moisture on the eyes keeps them from drying out during sleep. If I was not forced by Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company I would not use CVS pharmacy. I am so tired of their incompetency. I am so tired of standing in there lines. This is my third order for the Occusoft Plus Eye Pads. I have occular rosacea. I was "washing my eyes" twice a day. Optometrist gave me samples of the Occusoft Pads to try. My wife's dry eyes have been diagnosed to cause double vision in each eye. Ophthalmologist recommended Ocusoft Lid Scrub Plus together with eye-drops to try and get her tearing well enough to keep her eyes moist. I put it on by as much amount as I want every night before going to bed and then in one week it went away. Don't put on makeup on your eyelid and waterline, and don't rub it. Wash your hands before putting on ointment. If you need to clean your eyelid, use a qtip. If you need to clean your waterline, use a clean washcloth or qtip. Use warm tea bags to compress to stye 3-4 times a day for up to 20 minutes each while you stay indoors; if you go outside and compress with teabag, bacteria will develop on your eye making it more worse to heal. I just can't believe how well this product works. I've had eye floaters since I was 18 years old – 40 years later still have them – and this product relieved the eye floaters within in days. I am completely hooked on Similasan's range of natural products. I had a bout of eye issues a few years back and the doc kept on prescribing such harsh eye drops that really gave me a scare. Great product. I remembered that my previous eye doctor use to recommend this product years ago and thought I'd try it. I have really dry eyes to the point where they feel like pins are poking them. I used this product and it helped relieve the burning and the redness. My current doctor told me if my eyes are that dry, my eyes would sting with eye drops in the beginning and to keep applying until it went away. I had to apply the drop back to back about 4 times to finally get relief. This was the same when I used Refresh tears. I'm just glad this product is more natural and cheaper. Hi dear friends!This amazing Product -Safe, healthy, effective Safe ingredients (no chemicals) and healthy (reduces contamination as in multiple use containers). Plus, this is one of the few products that lubricates my semi-dry eyes for longer than perhaps a half hour. I always trust Boiron to have healthy and effective products.I love these drops, they work much better and feel like they last longer than any other over the counter eye drops. One BIG draw back is that this ONLY comes in individual use packets…. and the top doesn't fit back on once opened.. So you either have to use it all, find a place to lean it to keep until the next use or waste some of it… for this price… wasting isn't an option for me. If I add up the one droplet I don't get out of each individual use… 20 drops per box, that is 10 more uses for me… I would prefer it in a small drop bottle.I recomandet it!iHerb Customer
Good for scratchy eyes (guess it's dry eye). 71 yrs old and don't use glasses. This helps when eyes get scratchy esp. a night. At times I have used it daily, but not currently — just for occasional spurts of eye scratchiness. A little hard for me to use. Most of it drips down my face, but I think all eye drops are like that. I rarely write reviews but here is an opportunity for me to share with others the help I received after using the Bruder Eye Mask. My eye doctor said I have dry eyes and in addition to advising the use of eye drops she suggested daily use of the Bruder mask. She said a hot compress does not retain the heat for long enough and the mask would be better. The mask came quickly in the mail. Instructions say to use for 8-10 minutes at a time so I began with 8 minutes after microwaving the mask, thinking "I will never be able to sit still this long!" , but I had Alexa set a timer and lay down with the best and it was the most lovely experience!
