Is Heimish a good brand? Heimish All Clean Balm is a must-try if you're looking to start with Heimish. I've read so many positive reviews on this balm to oil cleanser and it just melts almost everyone who have tried it. Including the simple and elegant packaging design of this balm, I can hardly find reasons why to not try out this balm. Keep on reading to know my thoughts on this highly popular cleansing balm. I've been wanting to try out Heimish's Clean Balm for ages but I stocked up cleansing balms a lot last time since it was on sale, so I couldn't get any new ones until I finished them up just recently. It took me 2 years to almost finish up 2 big bottles of cleansing balms. LOL… Anyhow, I've been super excited to try out this balm especially when I've been reading good reviews about it. Texture I still can't believe how the sherbet-like texture at first manages to melt so easily into oil just by rubbing it with the fingers. Even without water or damp skin, Hemish All Clean balm manages to melt into oil with ease. Even scooping out the product from the packaging seems oddly satisfying to do. LOL Experience I can't emphasize how amazed I am with this cleansing balm. It does its job perfectly by melting away make-up so easily. Especially those hard to come of ones like mascara and lipstick, this cleansing balm manages to rinse them all away in just one wash. My skin tends to get a bit oily when I wake up from sleep, so to start my day double-cleansing is a must. This all clean balm manages to rub away all that oil stuck on my face without even drying out my skin afterwards. I don't know how long does this Heimish All Clean Balm will last at this rate as I've used almost half of the tub. I tend to use quite a generous amount of it since I find pleasure scoping out the balm. LOL… But if you tend to use it just the right amount once a day, it could last 2-3 months since the tub is rather big as well. Overall Thoughts I can't believe the price Hemish is selling for this product because it's considered cheap for a cleansing balm and it works effectively. I feel like I have found my next best cleansing balm favourite and of course, I highly recommend this balm especially for acne-prone skin like myself. I have oily skin and have been using this balm as the second step in my nightly cleansing (makeup cloth; then oil/balm; then foam; etc.). I really love the herbal, slightly medicinal scent of this balm. And the packaging is just gorgeous, which I didn't expect. I feel like this does a slightly better job than the Banila Co sherbet cleanser, but honestly, that might be due to the scent and the packaging (I am susceptible to form over function). The ingredient lists do differ, though, so maybe I'm not imagining it. In general, I would prefer both balms over any other oil cleanser, since they travel a lot easier and are less messy to use. Note: like many other people, I got a "melted" balm. Several other retailers besides Amazon suffered from this batch as well. I removed all the product from the jar and microwaved it 2 or 3 times for 30 seconds at a time, until the balm was completely clear and liquid. I stirred it with a clean spoon and then placed it back into the jar and let it freeze overnight. The resulting balm was back to perfect condition and has not turned back to liquid (I even took the jar on vacation recently, and it is still solid after 2 days of traveling in an air conditioned car). Ok so I’m guna start off by saying.. WOW!! This balm is absolutely amazing… it melts into an oil as soon as you massage it onto the skin and breaks down ALL makeup including waterproof eye makeup in seconds… it has got a very nice citrusy scent to it but it’s not overpowering and smells very refreshing. I am amazed at the performance of this product I really am. I was using The Ordinary’s squalane cleanser but I wanted a change as it does take about 20 seconds to actually melt into an oil. In the time it took that cleanser to melt into an oil, the all clean balm had already melted and completely broken down all traces of makeup lol I always follow with a water based cleanser to get everything off completely but this all clean balm is definitely THE BEST first cleanse I have ever used!! Will 100% be my go to balm from now on. I got the 50ml to try in case I didn’t like it but I absolutely LOVE IT and will get the 120ml one next although it’s NEVER in stock… will it be in stock ever again?? For the first two weeks of using the Glass skin series, I had the most radiant skin of my life – my skin has been clear for years, thanks to Korean Skin care & a clean diet, but the Glass skin brought out a gorgeous otherworldliness. And then… the cystic acne. And cluster acne. Aiee…. I really want to love this stuff, and I've read that the acne can happen because of the greater cell turnover due to the hyaluronic acid, so I'm now experimenting with steaming my face nightly, and have also moved down from two pumps of the glass skin serum morning & night (to my face and neck) to just one pump at night, mixed with organic argan oil. Then I apply the Matcha cream. (And on top of that, if I think a little more moisture might help, I put on some Cerave, just because it's less speedy.) It's possible this might help… TBD! I bought this on a whim back in May because I was in the market for a serum, I love K-beauty, and had heard good things about this brand. I went all in on the regular sized bottle despite the price and I'm so glad I did. This stuff has transformed my skin so much. I'm extremely pale and prone to redness and uneven skin tone/texture but ever since I started using this regularly every night before bed, my skin has looked 100x more even, softer/smoother, and it just has this lovely glow that I never had before. I hardly feel the need to use much if any concealer/foundation anymore because my skin just looks that good. The texture of the product is smooth and feels really nice when applying. I just use a fingertip's worth on each section of my face; it doesn't take much so this bottle should last a while. I will say that I have found that my skin tends to get a little flaky the next morning if I don't follow this up with a moisturizer, so I would definitely recommend always moisturizing after or possibly staying away if you are prone to super dry skin. This review has been a long time coming. I have been using this product since November of 2021. I cringe at the reviews for not giving a product ample amount of time to work. It's not a few time use to get the results, it's not instant. A lot of people were mentioning they break out and that's fair. But you need to realize your skin is purging the prior toxins. Skin regenerates, like your lashes shed. You can basically describe me as a skin cake junkie. Its done wonders on my skin in the past 8 months. Nowadays, I barely put any powder. It's leaves my skin a perfect foundation for primers to put on make up. When you're using a product with hyaluronic acid you need to add it to moist skin. (I didn't know that at first-research before your dump it) If you don't, it will dry out your skin (hence the break outs). I use this serum with the glass skin veil mist. When you put the two products together it is prime! You'll need to dab the serum on your skin until you get a slightly tacky texture. When you reach that point, then add your moisturizer. The cleanser in this kit gives me a deep clean without stripping my skin and helps keep my face acne free. I typically use it in the morning and Kate Somerville at night. So I recently got onto a kick of trying K-skincare. Normally I look for clean products with healthy ingredients. For the most part I was doing good with a couple of viral brands but I didn't want to keep using retinol nightly for acne and piling on moisturizer to balance the skin. Did some research and found the Peach and Lily brand. Liked what I read, liked the price point of this product even more. For reference I'm 36, have good skin that's combination, but do have some melasma and pores which have gotten a little larger than in my 20s. I also have rosacea. Do I want glass skin? Absolutely. Has this given me glass skin? Sadly not yet, but I also haven't followed the 2x a day instructions. On average I do the entire routine at night. In the beginning I would skip the last moisturizing step as I was afraid it would cause acne. That was actually a major mistake. Once I added it back in, it made a world of difference. My skin is vibrant! It's healthy looking, the redness from the roseaca has calmed, I don't have zits and if any come up they're small and go away quickly. It even calmed my damaged skin from a recent eyebrow wax (overnight btw)! Even better, I swear it helped get rid of the small skin tags I was getting on my neck. Here's an honest review about each of the products. To start off, I have sensitive skin, I have to do patch tests when trying any new products and I have to give my skin time to adjust before introducing a new product. Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser – Absolutely loved this! When I first tried this, my skin felt clean and I mean clean! However, what really sold this to me was that it did not leave my skin feeling like it was stripped. My skin was actually softer than it has been in years. I will definitely be buying the full sized bottle on this one. Wild Dew Treatment Essence – A bit of background beforehand, I have not had luck with toners and essences; there is something about them that my skin does not like. So when I saw the reviews on this one I was hopeful, but sadly it was a no go. I applied this one after giving my skin a week to get used to the cleanser, but as soon as I applied it, I began to feel a burning sensation. I decided to not rinse it off right away because I wanted to see if the burning was going to subside. It did, but then I noticed that my skin began to become irritated with small red bumps. I have had the same reaction before to essences and toners before so I rinsed it off with a fragrance free cleanser for sensitive skin. Again, I don't think this product is bad, my skin just does not seem to like essences and toners. Glass Skin Refining Serum – As of now I am withholding my final judgements on. I did the patch test as usual, and started feeling that stinging sensation, (please see above section where I mention that my skin is sensitive) after noticing the red bumps I rinsed it off. After doing some research, I found that serums can sometimes cause something called "purging." I am not sure if this is what my skin was attempting to do, but since I have to go back to work soon I've decided to hold off until I have some more vacation time to really give this a try and see how it goes. Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream: This is such a lightweight cream that gives my skin some much needed rejuvenation. I really struggle with my breakout and have struggled with Korean products as my skin is combination and is sensitive as well. I saw this reviews online about this, I was hesitate at first because of my experience with Korean product haven’t help with my breakout to tone down or improve slightly. So I decided to give this a go for a week, and I have followed the step by step. After a week, I was surprised to see how it actually it actually help my pimple and bumps by minimise them and my skin feel soft and smooth. The scent of teatree in serum isn’t so strong but feel refreshing, and the kit products haven’t really upset my skin at all which I’m pleased! My skin is looking more brighter and fresher and will continue to follow step by step although the result takes it times. I think this is a great kit to try out this line, without having to purchase the full sizes immediately. My skin was acting up a little bit (getting some pimples here and there), so I wanted to try these products to calm my skin. I start with the facewash, which has a creamy non-drying texture. I think it's wonderful for people who deal with a lot of acne, it smells a bit medicinal/minty, but it's very soft on the skin. For people who don't have a lot of acne, this might be a good addition for if you have occasional outbreaks. The toner is my favorite, I have quite a sensitive skin, so I was a bit worried how my skin would react, but it is really softly exfoliating and leaves my skin in good condition. I will definitely purchase the full-size of the toner! The serum is the product with the best smell, like sweet peppermint. Unfortunately my face didn't react too well on the amount of oils in this serum, so I used the rest of the serum on the dark parts of my elbow, I could definitely see some differences after a month (hydrated & brightened – see also the picture). I would be careful purchasing this serum if you have oily or combination skin. The cream is also nice, with a gel texture that has a semi-matte finish, this is perfect for combination skin. The cream I will purchase in full size as well. Etude House's Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream is hands down the best moisturizer I've tried! I have sensitive, breakout-prone skin and I'm very picky about my moisturizers. It's a comfortable weight; it's not too heavy or too light. It has no scent whatsoever. It's one of the few moisturizers (of the dozens I've tried) that hasn't caused me to breakout. It also gives my skin a beautiful, healthy glow! I use this moisturizer in the morning and at night. I used it during the summer and I'm still using it during the winter. i mostly liked this product! i was able to use the whole tube without any problems (breakouts, allergic reactions, etc.). i didn't notice any transforming difference in skin benefits though. i think the main strength of this product is how safe and friendly it is to use. also the texture/ spreadability was nice – but it laid somewhat thick/sticky on my skin after applying it (sensitive, combo skin). i think this product is better for people with dry/normal skin, but overall really safe/hypoallergenic and hydrating for everyone!Jillian
If you’ve used too many actives, got a sunburn, or just have sensitive skin, I highly recommend this cream. I’m on tretinoin and this has helped reduce the flaking and irritation. The cream itself has a rich texture without being overly sticky. No scent either. I like most of COSRX products, because the ingredient list is short. I have blackheads around my nose and chin. They are noticeable during the summer months. I like to tackle them by using daily toner like this Cosrx 2 in 1 Poreless Power Liquid. But I just don't like the menthol, since I have sensitive skin. Sometimes it irritates my skin after a single wipe or it doesn't. So I knocked off 1 star. Instead I prefer the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid to fight blackheads. It's my seasonal toner.MR
There is hardly no scent. It's more in the serum side, but a bit more liquidy. I think all the products of this company are worth while, with good pure ingredients. I tried this kit out, hoping that this products would replace my former cica products. I have extremely dry skin and often gets flaky patches. Once I get rid of flaky surface, my skin gets extremely sensitive. This products calms my skin much quicker than any other products I've used. I've generally put some calming pads on my skin or soak cica toner on my cotton pad and did some masks. Then apply thick layer of balm to finish my skin care. This samples did much quicker than any other products. Cosrx is very approachable and affordable brand and glad to use these products even in Europe. Thank you Cosrx and Little Wonderland!
I tried all three products and by far I enjoy the cream the most. The toner is very soothing, unscented. It did not break me out and helps to shrink the pore size on my nose. The serum is very moisturizing and great for sensitive skin. The cream is light weigh but has a very nice texture. It absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth but not sticky result. Again I like the cream of the three the most because it suits my dry, sensitive, and aging skin. With this kit, my skin texture has been improved in 2 weeks and no breakouts! One star off is the price. I would appreciate a cheaper price due to the small portion size. Other than that, the kit definitely worth trying for people who has sensitive skin. I was always looking for an eye cream that will do magic on my puffy and tired looking eyes and this really helped me a lot. Super cute packaging, love the satisfying click closure! A little goes a long way. It’s a medium texture, applies nicely and sinks in quickly. There is a light scent, it’s clean and fresh, but not noticeable after application. I have fairly sensitive eyes, but have had no issues with this. This is so hydrating, it actually lasts all day, and my under eyes have never looked so smooth! I have very creasy under eyes, but from day 1 I’ve noticed an improvement, and it’s only getting better. My makeup application looks much nicer. If you have a compromised skin barrier like me, I really find it helpful to use a gentle, non-active, moisturising toner to dampen my skin before using a moisturizer- it really helps to lock in the moisture. I honestly hate when I wake up in the morning after slaving away at my skincare routine the night before, only to find my skin is dry and dull again- using a toner like this one can help prevent that (in combination with slugging- yes it works). This product is not life-changing because the composition does not contain crazy actives, but I will keep re-purchasing because all I need is that additional moisture before applying my facial moisturizers. I do find that this toner is soothing and calming after washing my face twice a day. I know I'm probably doing it wrong, but I only use this toner in my nighttime routine because I have a pre-essence and then an essence and then a moisturizer and then sunscreen in the mornings. I tried adding the toner as the first step in that routine and felt like on those days my face was oilier than it usually is. I cut it to evenings only and my skin is not oily and just happily moisturized! I have sensitive combination skin that can react quickly and badly to new skincare items or bad ingredients. No such problems with this toner, or any other Soon Jung products for that matter! it's a great line for sensitive skin and I just love the minimal and powerful ingredients they offer. And really fair prices too! I like that this toner helps calm and balance my skin after a day of wearing skincare, makeup, sunscreen, and then my evening cleansing routine. I think my skin appreciates the toner in the evenings more after it's dealt with all of that and can re-balance. I wanted to love this toner but it just didn't do anything for my mature sensitive combination (more drying) skin, even with multiple layers. I did finish the product, but used it as a mist throughout the day. The good thing with this toner is that I didn't have any bad reactions/irritations from using it. My skin is super sensitive. For me, this is the best washbasin. The smell is sweet and very pleasant, the texture is creamy, but when rubbed turns into a thick foam with fine abrasive particles. After rinsing, the product rolls off. I wash off the keratinized particles from the face and the skin is as soft and well-groomed as possible without peeling. The Etude House Baking Powder cleansers are my favorite. I try different cleansers here and there but I have not found one that is as essential to my routine as this one. The grains help exfoliate daily, which is super useful. I break out a lot when I don't exfoliate properly so this cleanser helps prevent acne for me a lot. I would recommend this cleanser a lot, perhaps in tandem with another gel or acne type cleanser.

The cleanser is one of those “pearlescent” types of cleansers. Every time I try one of these it strips my skin. I really want to love them because they are pretty, lather so nice feel good while washing but as a combo/normal/dry skin person they always seem to leave me feeling a little on the dry side. This also has a fragrance. It smells exactly like this rice flower Shea body bbw spray I have but it may contribute to the drying effects. I also broke out on my cheeks while using. I usually don’t break out on my cheeks. Maybe if you have oily skin that isn’t sensitive this would work ok for you.christie .s
