    Relatively simple tool to set up and use. Works with any wood thickness from 1/2" to 3 or more inches. Trickiest part of the tool use is carefully keeping the tool down and flat on the wood when cutting. This especially applies when the wood thickness is less than 3/4" and the joiner base is hitting the workbench underneath the subject wood. Alignment of the two joined pieces depends on this, tipping the tool off the wood ruins to slot cut. Tool is great for table top building as well as cabinet face frame alignment and flat casing of interior trim. I have also restored broken table tops with this tool.George

    I've had this plate joiner for years now and have no complaints. I've used it join a number of table tops and it's allowed me to achieve the board alignment I was after. I'd strongly recommend using it with a dust collection system. The dust-rite attachments from Rockler and a standard shop vac make this simple and convenient. When using it with the standard bag it fills up pretty quickly. The unit is built quite sturdily as it's taken some drops off the bench and not suffered any damage.Rooted_Timberworks1

    Purchased this tool to complete a home project. I'm not a professional woodworker; just a guy who likes to occasionally to make 'things' using wood. Had never used a joiner before, but it was easy enough to figure out how to set the depths, etc. And, to be on the safe side, I did a couple of practice cuts just to get a feel for the tool and see if the pockets would end up where I wanted/needed them to be. And, although it's been a while since I last used it, I do remember that the tool delivers plenty of power for the cuts. So, after practicing, the cuts on the project piece went as expected.     … try this: we feel safer helping ours with this sliding bench. My tips after a few uses: use the belt. Really, just use it- it stabilizes the whole experience. I place a beach towel outside the tub, then the two feet outside the tub go on top to catch all the inevitable drips – like a giant bath mart. Snip your shower curtain liner twice to create a little panel just tub height to tuck in the side of the bench once she is fully inside the tub. Mom slips on her housecoat backwards for a nice easy modest transition on the sliding bench.     We love this transfer bench! Makes me feels safe getting across the step to get in to my shower. I broke my right ankle on both sides. No weight bearing to that ankle.     very nice shower chair. no regrets buying this even though i had to add 3" under the outside legs to level out the seat. now im no dummy, i pulled out the legs on the outside and pushed in the legs on the tub side, but still 3" shy. im trying to think are other tubs level with the floor. sure walk in showers are but i dont think tubs are. no matter my mother loves it and we made it work. and yes it slides very well. thanks for a good product.karla

Boombah was great doing a refund for the product that never came. Not likely to buy again because they only use FEDX ground. FEDX lied about their failed delivery attempt.     I was unsure how to rate these because we love the slides and they are very cute but sizes are WAY OFF! I have a 12yr old daughter who I just bought boombah mens cleats for. Our cleats came and fit perfectly at 7.5 mens. I decided to get these team matching color slides for softball. I ordered a size 8 in mens and they are extremely small to where her heel is off the back. I called boombah and as always customer service was outstanding and are getting me set up with another pair in a mens size 10 CEAZY a mens 10 for a 12 yrs old girl. So as always I highly recommend boombah but be aware the sizes on the velcro tyrant style are extremely off. I will add I have bought her the regular slides w/o the velcro last fall for volleyball season and ordered a mens 7 and she still wears those currently so those sizes are spot on but be away of the velcro sizing b4 ordering your pair!

    So, this says a lot, as I've bought Rogue bumper plates, a half rack, an olympic bar, and some powerblock dumbbells – but really – particularly when you consider the COST of the item, this is – hands down – the best purchase I've made this year in fitness gear. This particular product is one of the least expensive – there really is NO NEED to spend more than around $30 for something like this – yes, you can get one from rogue for nearly $80, but WHY? You're not going to lift that much, and 7 gauge steel is HEAVY – you don't need it. This is portable, you can throw it in your gym bag. It isn't too heavy but it IS STURDY and heavy duty enough for daily abuse. This thing REALLY expanded the way that I use my home weight equipment. You can use it for SO MUCH. Basically made a tower or cable system totally unnecessary. There are a lot of additional items for sale that are supposed to go with this thing – handles and double handles and rowing attachments – you don't need them. Grab the bar. Lift it, row with it, squat with it, use one hand, both hands, lift it overhead, lift it between your feet (your butt will thank you), train your core by alternating, rest it on your shoulder while facing it and front squat – there are SO MANY WAYS to use this thing. I stopped bringing it tothe gym because my workout was interrupted too many times by people coming up to me to ask what it was and asking if they could try it! I found that I really only needed a couple of 35# bumper plates on the floor to hold it steady for most things, since those were the ones I tend to use least and don't need for anything else. They are NOT tall enough to take up all the room at the top but this does NOT affect it's function. It pivots perfectly. I put a square of foam flooring at the bottom under the stack of weight to protect the floor as it will put a "ring" in the gym mat or flooring. Everyone is getting this as a gift for Christmas this year. Really. It's that awesome. And it's really not that much money. I did research all the pricier options for this thing and I was nervous getting this one – so very glad I did. I don't need something that weighs down my gym bag – I won't use it.
